Nick On Puff Daddy
INTERVIEW WITH PUFF DADDY (PART ONE)
PUFF: Right now I'm joined by Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, and his mother Jane. (shrill screams from the crowd)
They've written a "heart and soul" book. The book is called The Heart and Soul of Nick Carter. Congratulations to y'all on your new book...give a round of applause to Nick Carter and his mom.
NICK: (points to his mom) This is my mom...thank you.
PUFF: I've got to ask y'all some questions...I'm a big Backstreet Boys fan, I always give y'all shouts out I love the things y'all do, you know what I'm saying...
NICK: I'm a big Puffy fan.
PUFF: Then it's all good...
NICK:I know we all are.
PUFF: We love each other, it's lonely at the top, we need each other. (spoken to Jane Carter) Check it out, besides Nick's and the Backstreet Boys' fame, was there any particular event that had you write this book, Mom?
JANE CARTER: Yeah, there was...it's really for the fans, because they always ask me questions when I go on tour with or something with Nick, they always want to know about Nick, what he was like, and how he got started, and so this kinda gives a indepth picture of who he really is.
PUFF: That's great, Nick, I need to ask you this question...being a member of a group that has a lot of different members, when you wrote this book and your mom wrote this book, did any of the guys give you any ribbing about it, or any problems about it?
NICK: I mean, it came up to them, and I presented the idea to them, and they were cool with it. There was no problems at all. You know, I mean, I'm sure every single one of them...one of their mothers is going to come out and do something like that.
PUFF: No doubt, that's your family...
