LOCATION:
Situated on
two of the highest hilltops in Saint Emilion in the village of Saint-Christophe-de-Bardes.
The total surface is only 5.2 hectares in an area well known for it's Grand
Cru Classe vineyards.
AGEING:
The wine is
kept in Oak Barrels for a period of between 12 to 18 months depending
on the vintage.
WINE MAKING:
Since 1989,
a rigid selection of their finest grapes that are hand picked. After being
put in barrel the wines are fines in the old fashioned traditional way
of using egg whites.
TASTING NOTES:
A dark, elegant
purple colour with a distinct raspberry nose. It is a harmonious
wine that rich in the mouth.
