Melainia's original name was supposed to be.. Akira. After a few days, I met a lion named Akira and decided I'd need a new name e.e
The name Melainia was originally used for an evil Sailormoon cat character
Mel was never actually born to Zira and Scar. One day, when I was newbie-ish, I was in the Pridelands and Zira X came in, offered to be somebody else's mother, and I asked if she'd be my char's instead
Mel's daughter Vita was taken in the same way as above (minus the newbie part)
Nagra was originally supposed to be Kovu's twin, but his mun decided he would rather be his in-law
Mel's first picture looked like a mix between Nala (the colours) and Vitani (the bangs). But then someone else made a picture for me, and my dog wizzed on the original...
Only 11 of Mel's 28 cubs are also her mate's. 3 were from rebirths (Swala, Misri, and Ziara), 2 were from rape (Ramu and Hasira), and the others.. well.. I'm not sure..
