THE SONG OF THE CANDYTUFT FAIRY!

Why am I "Candytuft"?
That I don't know!
Maybe the fairies
First called me so;
Just for a joke;
(I'm in the gardens of most little folk).
Look at my clusters!
See how they grow:
some pink or purple,
Some white as snow;
Petals uneven,
Big ones and small;
Not very tufy-----
No candy at all!
Good Afternoon!......... This is Pharoah!!!...... She has a full tummy and is once again asleep! I..... Hope that she didn't eat Cpt.Blood!
I wonder what the Birth flower is for February?

Well the flower is the sweet Violet............ While the stone is the Amethys
Let Us See What The Fairies Like In This Area!

THE SONG OF THE CANTERBURY BELL FAIRY!

Bells that ring from ancient towers---
Canterbury Bells---
Give their name to summer flowers---
Canterbury Bells!
Do the flower-fairies, playing,
Know what those great bells are saying?
Fair, in your purple hat,
Little fairy, tell us that!
"Naught I know of bells in towers---
Canterbury Bells!
Mine are pink or purple flowers---
Canterbury Bells!
When I set them all a-swaying,
Something, too, my bells are saying;
Can'tyou hear them--ding--dong--ding--
Calling fairy-folk to sing?"

Time to take a look at the Herbs!

Caraway (carum carvi)------The leaves may be used in salads and soups, the seeds in baked goods, dumplings, cream cheese and meat dishes such as goulash and pork casserole. The roots can be boiled as a vegetable and served with a white sauce

Catnip--------------renowned for the euphoria it causes in cats, also has a few human uses, both culinary and medicinal. It makes an attractive border plant if you don't mind frequent feline visitors.

Now Maybe that is why Pharoah is sound asleep, she was playing in the catnip!

Catnip tea made from the leaves and flowers may be taken for coughs, colds, and a bedtime calmative.

Cayenne----------- for the Stomach....? In many countries, red pepper is believed to be a stomach-settling digestive aid.

Chamomile------------This perennial is also known as Roman chamomile. It can be used as a groundcover since it grows only 4 to 12 inches in height. The foliage is feathery with an apple scent, and it is accented by white, daisy-like flowers with down-turned petals.
Hi!

Sue!
I like for you all to meet a very close friend of mine.
Her name is Sue, but we all call her Thrill.
Sue! Have you seen Cpt.Blood?
Why!...... No!...... I have not, but I just saw Glide and he said that he was coming over to meet your new friends!
