The next morning I woke to the sound of a knock on the door. I grabbed my robe and went to see who it was. Ritchie was standing in the hall with a smile on his face(of course when isn't he smiling?). I opened the door and let him in. He handed me a gorgeous red rose as he walked in the door.

I said, "It's beautiful!". I didn't bother to mention my allergies before I sneezed. His smile instantly faded. "It's alright Ritchie, It's not going to kill me." I said in an effort to cheer him up.

"I know, I should get going." he said softly and walked out the door. I felt terrible.

An hour or so later there was another knock on the door. I ran to answer it hoping it was Ritchie when I saw Paul standing in the hall with a sympathetic look on his face.

"What happened? Ritchie came back to the room almost in tears." All I could do was cry. He held me in his arms until I got my emotions under control.

"He gave me a rose and he found out I have allergies. Ir crushed him." I managed to choke out in between sobs.

"Is that all? The big pansy!" Paul laughed.

"So what? He's sensitive. I like that in a guy." I said defensively.

"Okay, okay. Don't get all touchy!"

"Send him over in about an hour alright?"

"Okay."

As soon as he shut the door I ripped open my suitcase and rummaged through it to find something to wear. I managed to find my baby pink pants and a soft yellow t-shirt, Ritchie's favourite. I brushed my waist-length blonde hair and just let it hang over my shoulders like he liked it. When he knocked on the door it was so soft that I almost didn't hear it.

I opened the door and said,"Hello. Come in Ritchie." he walked in and sat in the chair next to my bed.

"Look how depressed we got over something so stupid! It's pathetic!" I said trying to show him the lighter side of the situation.

"I know," he laughed "what do you say I make it up to you bu taking you out after the show tonight, eh?"

"Sound's wonderful love." he then walked over to me and wrapped his arms my waist squeezing me gently. He whispered "I love you and gave the most amazing kiss in my life.
