That night, I got up about 5 pages, a good start. Then I left it. But soon, I was back at it, adding new things, and trying out new designs.
By January 16, 2000, Ringo World was ready for the world wide web! We got a counter, and waited to see how the last 3 months of work were going to pay off.
At first, we may only get one visitor a day, or less. Some days we'd get 3 (And CELEBRATE!). When we got into the search engines, we upped it to maybe 4 a day. Then when I got all me Ringo Tour forum buddies to come check out Ringo World, we started getting 5 or 6 a day. Then we got mentioned in one of the live chats with Ringo. 6, 7, or 8 a day. Then a good friend of mine (You know who you are! THANKS again!) submitted us to About.com, so we got listed there. That bumped the counter up a bit! Right now, we get about 10 people a day on average. The least we normally get is 4, and we've had as many as 48 in a single day (If we ever beat that one, or even reach it again, I will be VERY surprised, and VERY VERY happy!).
I don't get paid for anything on Ringo World. It's "All in the name of love". Ringo Starr is a great person, whom I very much look upto. He is a great drummer, singer, songwriter, actor, father, husband, granddad, and all-around groovy person. This site is a tribute, and a fun hobby, but nothing more.
