"Lam Dai Gor, how did you find me?" she asked when there was no one in sight.
"Actually, my father sent me out to look for Yuk Lan. I just followed in the direction of Ha Chow. She was always so interested in that town."
"Yes she was. When I first met her, she was going towards that direction."
"So you met her? What happened to her?" he asked with a hint of concern.
"She was taken away by some guy." Yung said.
"What?! Who took her away? Did you see the guy or know his name? Is she hurt?" he stopped when he noticed he just asked her too many questions.
Yung smiled slyly "Looks like you care a great deal for her considering you never me the girl."
"Well, my father wanted me to marry her and the King himself agreed to the marriage. I just want to do my best and not disappoint anyone." he explained.
"Sure. If you say so." her grin growing while Ga Lok's face turned a crimson red.
"Well, what about you? Running away like that. He's very worried about you." he scolded at her.
Yung shrugged her shoulders "I don't care. He can continue to look for me if he wants, Im not going back." she crossed her arms stubbornly.
"Well, you have to come back sometime. Its not good for a girl to be out on her own." he was beginning to sound more like a brother.
She laughed "Hey, just because I called you 'Gor' doesn't give you the right to boss me around."
He bowed his head respectfully "Im sorry. I didn't mean to." he said solemnly.
She rolled her eyes "Oh stop! Don't be so dramatic. Come on, we have to go back before they get suspicious."

Ching Ching woke up feeling nice and rested. She was about to wake up Yung but when she turned to where her friend's bed was, it appeared to be empty. 'Where would she go so early in the morning?' she asked herself. She decided to change and see if Fei Lap was awake or not. Careful not to be too loud, she knocked lightly on his door. When it slightly opened, she noticed he was still asleep.
She walked up to him and shook him violently "Lap Gor, wake up, we have to go!" he groaned while he pulled the covers over his head. She continued to shake him "Come on, lets go!!" using his free hand, he pushed her away. "You're gonna regret it if you don't." she warned him. She heard him mumble something that she couldn't make out.
A slow michevious grin crossed her veiled face as she notice the oil candle still burning, she picked it up and tip toed by his side. She noticed his hand which was dangling on the side of the bed. Ching Ching tilted the candle and let the hot oil drip onto it. "AHHHH!!" his scream was so loud that it made her jump back. She burst out laughing as she watched him rub his hands together in pain. "You little brat!!!"
"Hmph! Just playing with you. Anyways, we have to be on our way." he threw her an evil look as he covered a yawn "Did you stay up late? You look so tired."
"Oh now you feel sorry for me!" he showed her the burnt hand while she continued to laugh. She instantly stopped when his glare turned even more evil. "Where's Yung?"
"Miss her already?" Ching Ching pushed his legs aside as she sat down next to him "I don't know really, she was gone when I woke up."
"Hmm...strange." he remember his conversation with Ga Lok last night. He kept asking about Yung, simple stuff that a brother should know. His suspicion grew as he wondered what else they were hiding from him.
Ching Ching called Fei Lap two times but he never answered. He seemed to be lost in thought. "Hey!!" he finally snapped out of it. "Are we going or not?"
He nodded and then grinned "Can I have my shirt back?" she gave him a puzzled look. He pointed at the shirt she was sitting on. She bounced up like the seat suddenly got hot "Thank you."
Ching Ching went outside to wait for Fei Lap to finish dressing. When she noticed a guy that walked by. He seemed to be looking for someone. "Can I help you?" she finally asked.
"As a matter of fact you can. Have you seen a guy around this height and a girl around this height?" His hand motioned a guy to be around 5/10 and the girl was a little taller than herself.
She shook her head. "No, sorry."
He smiled "Its okay." his curiosity was growing as he stared intently at her eyes. "Miss, you look awfully familiar."
Ching Ching giggled, "I doubt you ever met me before" saying this, she pulled off her veil.
The guy's face fell as he began to pity her "Im so sorry."
She shook her head as she put the veil back on. "No, I don't mind. At least you didn't scream." her sarcastic remark made him laugh. He sensed a carefree spirit coming from her. "My name is Ching Ching."
"Cheung Hung Sing." he gave her a friendly smile. "Well, I have to be on my way. Its nice to meet your acquaintance."
"Same to you." she watched as he flew off over the roof. Questions flowed through her mind as she stared blankly into the sky. Not hearing Fei Lap call her name, he tapped her lightly on the shoulder causing her to gasp in surprise.
"What are you thinking about?" he asked with a touch of concern.
"Nothing. Hmm, I wonder where she went." Just as she mentioned Yung, the two appeared behind her. "Where did you go?" her brows furrowed.
"We have a habit of practicing our martial arts in the morning." Ga Lok explained.
Ching Ching and Fei Lap exchanged glances as Yung spoke up "Well, are we going or not? Dai Gor said there's a temple nearby. Maybe one of the White Demons will be there?"
"White Demons?" Ga Lok asked. "I heard that they are very strange people. Not to mention hard to find. Are you looking for someone?" his question wasn't directed towards anyone as the other three glanced at each other.
"Yes. I don't care how hard it is, Im determined to find that person." the serious tone in Fei Lap's voice couldn't be hidden. The girls looked at each other wondering if he would get angry at the mention of his real father. "We're not getting anywhere if we keep standing here." he walked off without waiting for the other three.

Yiu Fai led Yuk Lan to a nearby temple. He walked up to the buddha statue at the front of the temple. "Why are we here?" Yuk Lan asked.
"You'll see." he smiled as he picked up a stick and knocked on the statue three times. The sound was hollow and a little loud as Yuk Lan covered her ears.
"What are you doing?" she asked over the echoing noise.
Before he could answered, she saw something white flying by at the corner of her eyes. When the figure stopped, she noticed it was a beautiful girl. Her face was showed no concern nor care. She seemed cool as she asked the two "Who are you looking for?"
Yiu Fai nodded his head to Yuk Lan, hinting for her to answer the girl. Yuk Lan looked at him in confusion "You wanted to look for someone didn't you?"
Once again, he shocked her with his cleverness. Never did she mention that she was looking for someone. Her mouth opened in shock "How...how did you know?"
His smile widened "Because Im god. I know everything, didn't I tell you that?"
"I don't have time for nonsense!!" the girl said annoyingly.
Forgetting that she was there, he apologized "Im sorry Liu Gu Leung, my friend here is really looking for someone."
Ping Yee's eyes leered at Yuk Lan, waiting impatiently for her to answer. "Yes, I was looking for my brother."
"I thought the Princess doesn't have any other siblings?" Ping Yee said knowingly.
"Actually, he ...well...I" Yuk Lan stumbled on her words.
"Hmph, when you have the question, come back then." the girl flew out the door.
"What's going on?" Yiu Fai asked, his face suspicious.
"I...well, I never claimed to be the Princess. Its you people!!" Yuk Lan bursted out. She's been keeping that secret for so long, she thought she was going to go crazy from having to lie.
"What? If you're not, then who is?" he asked. She shook her head not willing to say anything else.
Hung Sing was outside the temple as he evesdropped on their conversation. 'She's not the Princess?' he wondered.
*************
The group rested at a nearby river where the guys refilled the water bottle while Yung sat under the shade resting her eyes. Fei Lap looked at her with disgust, here he was getting her water while she sat back and rested. He smiled micheviously as he cupped his palm into the river and threw the handful of water at Yung. "HEEEYY!!" she cried out when the cold water splashed on her face and clothes. "Stop it!!" he continued to slash more water as she got up and tried to block herself.
Ga Lok saw this and ran over to Yung as he covered her. She quickly took advantage of his kindness as she hid behind him, making him soaking wet after a few minutes.
Fei Lap laughed as he finally stopped and pointed at the two who was drenched. "What a nice brother." his surupy comment full of sarcasm.
"You!!" Yung pointed in his direction as she ran to the opposite end of the river and began to splash him with the water. Ga Lok put his hands on his hips as he shook his head. Watching the childish war the two grown ups were playing.
"Hey, watch it!" Ching Ching exclaimed when the water splashed her from the opposite side of the war.
"Ching Ching, help me!!" Yung cried out with a giddy laugh.
Ching Ching laughed as she began to join in and splashed Fei Lap with the water. The cold water felt good against the heating sun above. When Fei Lap was soaking wet, he held up his hand to stop the girls from attacking "Okay, truce. That's enough." the girls laughed as the got out of the one feet deep water. "Hey, Ching Ching, where did you go?"
"I don't think you want to know." Ching Ching said mysterioiusly.
He laughed as he thought of where she went "Its a natural thing you know."
She shook her head "Just as long as you don't say it."
The group walked to a nearby temple to dry off. The place was split in half by a long cloth they found on the ground. They built two fires to help their clothes dry off. That night, they stayed in the temple. Never once thinking that it could be the one they were looking for.
Chapter 8
Yung, Ga Lok and Fei Lap were deep asleep. Tired and drained of energy from their earlier water fight. But awake was Ching Ching, who quietly snuck out of the temple. Fei Lap was dreaming that he was falling off a mountain, shivering himself awake as he snapped his eyes open. Presperation dripping from his forehead. He sat up to calm himself down when he noticed Ching Ching was gone. Getting up carefully as he went outside to look for her. He found her sitting on the roof of the temple looking up at the moon.
She saw him and he quickly flew up and sat next to her. "What are you doing up here? Couldn't sleep?" she nodded "How did you get up here?" he thought she didn't know martial arts.
"I climbed up here." she said simply. Wrapping her arms around her knees as she pushed her body closer to keep warm.
He instantly sensed something different about her "Ching Ching, you okay? You seemed a little sad. Im use to seeing you more happy." he grinned trying to get her to smile.
She layed her chin on the top of her knees as she sighed to herself. "Im okay. Its just sometimes I wonder what I look like without these scars. Or not to be stared at everywhere I go or made fun of by strangers. People judge me before I even open my mouth."
He looked at her thoughtfully "I didn't know you thought that way. You always seemed to care less about appearance."
Ching Ching smiled at his naiveness "I guess Im still a girl inside." she paused for a minute "Lap Gor? Do you think I would be pretty without these scars?" her question was as innocent as she was.
Fei Lap smiled at her as he smoothed the back side of her long black mane. Using his other hand as he untied the veil she wore everyday. "I don't know what you would look like but I can tell you that you have the most innocent eyes. Sometimes with so much fire in it that I wonder if you're just an average girl. And when you smile? Its the brightest smile that I've ever seen. So natural and so sweet yet still a little bit of teasing at times."
He couldn't tell that she was blushing profusely at his kind comments. He described her perfectly, she turned away from his gaze as she reached for her veil but he pulled it back. "Lap Gor?"
"From now on, I don't want you to be wearing this veil anymore. Why should you be ashamed of yourself?" she turned away when his gaze made her nervous, he pulled her chin back to face him "Ching Ching..." he stopped when a person in a light blue dress flew by. A matching veil covering her face. She landed on a tree branch across from where they were sitting. His eyes seemed to be drawn to the girl "Liu Gu Leung?" he said softly.
"Did you just call her Ching Ching?" the girl asked.
Fei Lap stood up "Yes. Do you know her?"
"Hmph! More than you think." the girl replied coldly.
Ching Ching stood up "I don't know you." she said honestly.
"Liu Gu Leung, what do you mean by that?" Fei Lap asked, he was getting confused.
The girl paused before she continued "Its none of your business" she snapped "You!" pointing to Ching Ching "You will pay for all the lies you caused." Fei Lap exchanged glances with Ching Ching, who looked as confused as he did. "Well, didn't you want to find someone?" the girl asked.
Fei Lap nodded his head "You're going to help me?"
The girl laughed "Im afraid I don't have that kind of power, but my Si Fu Bak Kwai Gung Chu, master of The White Demons can. If you are not afraid, come with me." she flew to the ground.
Fei Lap pulled his arm around Ching Ching as he supported her while they flew down to the ground where the girl stood. The noise woke up Yung and Ga Lok, who had appeared by the door of the temple. Both looked confused at the situation. Yung instantly recognized the girl in the light blue "You, didn't you save us that one time at Luk San?"
The girl laughed again "Hmph! I didn't save you." she said calmly. She turned to Fei Lap "So, are you willing to go? I assume you know our rules correct?" he shook his head "If we help you, you must do something in return for us. Regardless of what it will be."
"I'll die if it means avenging my mother's death." Fei Lap blurted out without thinking twice.
"Lap Gor!" Ching Ching cried out. At the same time Yung threw him a worried look.
He held up his hand "I don't want to hear it. This is more important." The girls glanced at each other, it was unbelievable what he was saying.
The girl smiled through her veil "I doubt that you have to die, but if you promised then I will take you there. But the White Demons' Palace is hidden. I cannot allow strangers to know the passage way." pulling out from behind her belt were four black hankerchiefs. She handed it to each one of them "You must be blindfolded or you cannot enter the Palace."
The four looked at each other one last time as each of them nodded, prepared to be led into the underground world. The girl took them through the forest, it seemed like a maze as they turned from one corner to another but never touching anything. Fei Lap was especially intrigued when he felt the stairway go down. The White Demons' Palace was underground!
When they finally reached a room, the girl spoke up "You can take them off now." her voice echoing around the room. But she wasn't the only one present. There were two rows of girls and guys dressed in white and lighter colors, all with a veil covering their faces. The room was circular in shape, with white walls where water flowed against the creamy surface. The four looked around in awe as they gazed at the magnificent place. Never did they think there would be such a beautiful place. "Unfortunately, my Si Fu is out for another week. How about you stay here until she comes back and speak to you herself on the agreement?" she asked Fei Lap.
He smiled "Sure, I'll wait." he looked back at Yung and Ga Lok "You guys can go if you like." he didn't want to hold them back.
Yung shook her head "No, Im not going. Dai Gor, you can go if you want." she said.
"You know I can't leave you alone." Ga Lok smiled, while Yung looked bored. She secretly hoped that he would leave. He was like a nuisance to her now.
"Great. Now follow me, I'll take you to your rooms." She took them to an endless hallway of white doors. Each one with a symbol on it, they all had their own rooms.

Back at the same temple where it was earlier filled with four people, now there were two new ones. Yuk Lan glanced behind her and found Yiu Wai still following her. Her frustration grew as she finally blew up "Thats enough!! I told you, Im not the Princess. There's no prize!! Leave me alone!" her face red.
He laughed seeing her so angry. She never once lost her temper with him since they travelled together for about a week. "I don't want the prize. I just want to find out who you are and help you."
"Help? I don't need help!!" she cried out impatiently. He was beginning to get on her nerves.
"Please have a little respect for the temple!!" cried a sultry voice from behind them. The white lace of her dress brushed against the two. She landed gracefully and turn to face Yuk Lan and Yiu Fai. "You two again. Do you know who you want to look for now?"
"I...yes. What do I have to do?" Yuk Lan asked nervously. Somehow the girl made her feel really uncomfortable, like she commited a crime or something.
Ping Yee gave Yuk Lan a welcoming smile "No need to be scared. Afterall, we only help you in exchange for something else." Suddenly her smile dropped as she looked pass the two "I think its more clear in here if you want to listen."
Everyone heard a whishing sound of a person flying into the temple. Landing in front of the group as he smiled "Ping Yee, its been a long time. You still have great hearing."
She snickered at his attempt to compliment her "Cheung Hung Sing. You're ability to hide is getting worse everyday."
Yiu Fai and Yuk Lan glanced at each other wondering what had happened in their past. The way they talked to each other, Yuk Lan guessed it was old lovers. "I need the White Demons help again." Hung Sing said as he ignored her comment.
"Don't you know that we cannot help the same person twice?" Ping Yee said sarcastically.
"Thats what you made up. Let me ask Bak Kwai Gung Chu if this is true." his words seemed to work as Ping Yee backed down.
"Fine, come with me." her voice impatient. She gave them hankerchiefs to block their vision. Leading them into the underground world of the White Demons. She gave them no introduction as she took them straight to their rooms.
"Wait! Can I talk to you in private?" Hung Sing asked Ping Yee after she took the other two to their rooms.
"I have nothing to say to you." she said coldly.
"Please?" his voice more calm. She looked at his earnest eyes and finally nodded. Following him inside his room as he sat down at the little three seat table in the middle of the white furnitured room. "Ping Yee, why must you be so cold?"
Ping Yee turned her back to him "If you don't have business to talk about, I have to leave. I don't have time for nonsense." she glanced at him over her shoulder before walking to the door.
He quickly got up "Okay, I won't talk about the past. But I really need your help this time." she turned to face him, her head tilting as she waited for him to go on. He sensed her attention was on him as he continued "I have to look for the Princess, if not, I will die."
She laughed "You, its always about you. Why would I care if you die?" her voice full of hate as she spat the words out.
"I know, I gave you too much pain in the past. But I will make it up to you one day, I promise. If you agree to my proposal and help me find the Princess, my life will be yours." his words were a solemn promise.
Ping Yee seemed to be interested, her eyebrows arching upwards. "I'll have to sleep on it, but I must admit its very tempting." she gave him one last sheepish smile before she left the room leaving him alone to regret anything he has just told her.
Outside she saw a girl in blue "Dai Si Jei." she said respectfully.
Ping Yee smiled "Si Mui. There is one girl that you brought back named Ching Ching, correct?" The girl nodded, her eyes with a hint of hate in it. "I don't want you to talk to her, I will handle her myself. I know why you dislike her. This is an order and I expect you to follow."
The girl began to argue back "But, Dai Si Jei..." her voice trailed off when Ping Yee's eyes sent out sparks of fire. Dropping her head "Yes." her words quiet. Walking off angrily in disagreement. Ping Yee watched her leave before going to Ching Ching's room.
Chapter 9
The next few days in The White Demons' Palace proved to be the worst for all the 'guests'. Not only were they treated like prisoners, they weren't allowed to do anything or go anywhere. Yung soon grew impatient as she paced around her white room. The beauty of it captured her attention for about one day and now she felt sick just being in there.
Across the hall was Fei Lap, who too was growing impatient. When it was the normal lunch time where food was brought to the guest by one of the pupils of The White Demons. This time it was the girl in blue that he had mistaken for Ping Yee. She still had a cloth covering her face, her eyes cold as she dropped the tray onto his table and started to leave the room. "Wait!" Fei Lap called to her, stopping her in her tracks.
She gave him an exasperated sigh "Yes?"
"I just want someone to talk to." the girl crossed her arms. He smiled kindly at her "Do all of you people look like a snowman? You're all so cold?"
"None of us were happy to begin with. Of course we don't smile." the girl said nochalantly.
Fei Lap wrinkled his eyebrows in interest "What do you mean? Its not like we can see you smile. Besides Liu Gu Leung, I can't see anyone else's face." he said honestly.
"That's because she chose to show herself. The rest of us don't want the world to see us." she said less harshly.
Seeing that her voice had softened, he knew that she was opening to him so he continued "Wait, so if you're not happy, then why are you here?"
The girl looked away nervously, not wanting to expose too much about the Palace's secrets "Its not that we're unhappy...its...well, most of us don't want to be here."
Fei Lap smiled "You mean, YOU don't want to be here."
The girl's gaze shot back at him angrily, knowing that he guessed correctly "Its none of your business!!" she snapped. "Eat your lunch, I'll be back to bring you dinner later."
"Hold on." he said. "What's this? It smells kind of rotten." bringing up a dish of what looked like beef.
"Let me see." she came back to him as he put up the dish for her to smell "I don't smell any..." he touched her freeze point.
"Sorry, but I feel like a prisoner in here." he looked around her body for the keys. It was tied around her belt as he quickly untied the ring of keys. Closing the door behind him as he carefully looked down the hall. There was no one in sight so he walked across and began to unlock one of the doors. He didn't know what room his friends were placed in. When he finally got the lock to open after five tries, he threw the door open.
"Heung Dai Gor!!" Yung cried out happily. She was going crazy inside there.
"Yung. Where's the rest?" he asked hurriedly. If they wanted to escape, it had to be soon.
"I don't know." her face concerned.
He flicked his head towards the door when he heard some footsteps. "Come on we have to go now. I'll look for them later, lets get you out of her first." putting out his hand as she quickly reached for it. Together they ran down the hall. He felt uneasy when he didn't see any of the pupils that normally guarded the halls like eagles over their eggs. "Where'd everybody go?" he whispered. He shook the worries away when they reached an unknown area. There was a black door at the end of the hall.
"Maybe that's the exit?" Yung asked.
"Be careful." he warned as they slowly approached the door. He tried the handle and it easily gave way. Inside was a room so dark, even three candles wasn't bright enough.
He didn't have a good feeling about it but it was too late, they both were pushed into the room. Falling to the ground as they spun around to see who the culprit was. "Hmph, trying to escape? Without my Si Fu's request, no one will leave The White Demons' Palace!!" Ping Yee cried out angrily.
"This is worse than jail!!" Yung yelled back.
Ping Yee laughed evily "You haven't seen the worse yet." she slammed the door shut causing an echo that vibrated the room. Inside one of the candles burned out while random holes began to shine through the room, which seemed to make the room more clear.
"What does she want with us, Heung Dai Gor?" Yung asked worriedly.
"I don't know, but I'll get us out of here." he looked around at the room as his eyes adjusted to the dim lights. "What's all these books?"
Yung stood next to him while he picked up a few books and scanned through it. "It looks like martial art book of the purital world." she looked around the room.
"I wonder if this will help?" he wondered out loud. He began to read one of the books. Sitting on the ground as he used his internal engery according to the books. When he stopped, he laughed to himself "What powerful martial arts!" he suddenly stopped smiling "Too bad we might be stuck here forever."
"I doubt that." Yung said knowingly, her smile secretive as she took a seat next to Fei Lap. "Im sure someone will save us." She was thinking about her father, the King. If Ga Lok could get out of the White Demons' Palace alive, then they should be saved.
"How could you be so sure?" he asked. She shrugged her shoulders in response "You make me wonder sometimes. Always having fun and never worrying. Even now, normal girls should be scared to death, but you seem fine."
Yung smiled "Well, who really wants to live their life in worries? If you can have fun just do it. Because when time comes to be serious, you won't have that chance anymore." her last line seemed to fade out.
He shook his head "I wish I could do that."
"Why not? I mean just let yourself go...here try this." she pulled him to his feet and began to act goofy. He laughed as he followed her actions. They soon forgot they were trapped inside a room as they talked and bonded for hours. It wasn't until late that they felt hungry since none of them touched their lunches. The two continued to keep each other company as they tried to diverge their attention from their growling stomaches. That night, Yung tossed and turn on the cold floor as she tried to sleep but it was hard when she was so hungry. Fei Lap slept on the opposite side of the room, he too couldn't sleep. He began to fear for his and Yung's life. What would happen to them?
***********
Next to the dark room was another room occupied by Ping Yee. She sipped her tea as she listened in on their conversation. They sounded so happy as they bonded the whole day. Her eyes looked jealous and angry at the same time. She knew the torture chamber wasn't going to last long. She would eventually let them go the next morning, it was just a mere lesson for them not to run around by themselves. That night, she expected them to be sleeping but when she heard voices she got up "Yung, are you okay?"
Fei Lap was worried for the girl, she was shivering as she curled up into a ball. "It...itt...its coldddd." her voice quivering.
"It is a little cold." he looked around and saw some cold smoke seeping through the holes where the light flowed through. What was she planning to do to them? he wondered to himself. Pulling Yung to sit up as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. "Sorry, I have to keep you warm." he apologized.
She shivered but soon stopped when his warm body gave her heat. Her head layed on his shoulder "Thank you." she whispered, a smiled plastered on her lips.
He shook his head "No, if I didn't drag you along, this wouldn't have happened. Im sorry."
She pulled her head up to look at him "I don't mind. I got a chance to see a different side of Fei Lap. He's usually quiet and serious."
He laughed quietly "Im usually goofy in personality but after my mother died...things changed." he sighed.
"Heung Dai Gor, I promise, when we get out of here, I will do everything in my power to help you find the person that killed your mother. We don't need the White Demons' help!!" she ended angrily.
"Don't be silly, you're just a girl. What can you do? Even if your family was rich, money doesn't solve everything."
Her smile was sly as she responded "But power can solve anything."
His eyes looked at her suspiciously "There you go again. All secretive...what are you hiding?" he asked. She was a peculiar girl, there was more to her than meets the eye.
Her face turned sour as she grabbed her stomach in pain "Oww...it hurts!!" she grabbed a hold of his hands and squeezed them tight to take the wretched pain away.
"Ow...ow...oww...OWW!!" he cried out slowly when the pain in his hand began to zoom through his body. She had a tight grip.
"Im hungry and Im cold...we're going to die!!" she wailed.
He managed to pull the grip away as he shook his hand trying to get the blood circulation to flow back into his hands. "I know, Yung. But it looks like they're not going to feed us or let us go anytime soon." She curled up her legs and hugged them tight, trying to push the pain deeper into the stomach. He sighed as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders "If you want, I'll let you eat me. How about that? I hear the arm has the most nutrition." he joked.
She laughed so hard that her stomach began to hurt again. "Stop it. Don't make me laugh!!" he joined in with her when she burst out laughing after a few seconds of silence.
The next morning, Ping Yee opened the creeking door to find Yung's head resting on Fei Lap's knees while he had his arm around her shoulders. She cleared her throat loudly "Ahem!!"
It seemed to work as the two woke up abruptly and quickly shut their eyes to block out the beaming light flowing through the room. Yung quickly stood up "you..." but she fell down even quicker. Her feet unsteady and her eyes were not focused enough. Fei Lap was quick to help her as he pulled her up slowly to her feet.
Ping Yee glared at them with annoyance, maybe it was a mistake to have them in the same room she thought. "Well, if you want to stay here, you're more than welcome to. But if you want to live, come with me." her voice curt and sharp.
The two looked at each other curiously as they eventually followed her outside. She took them to a beautiful lavendar room. The bed and decorations were so colorful not like the ghastly guest rooms that they stayed at. On the table were dishes of fresh food for the two to eat. Their stomachs growling in hunger as they smelled the wonderful aroma. The steam still fresh on the food. Ping Yee closed the door behind her as she sat down on her bed. "Well, eat up." the two glanced at each other "If you're afraid its poisoned, I can tell you that if we wanted to do that, you would have been on the first day you stepped foot into this Palace." her voice threatening at the same time soothing because it meant the food was good to eat.
Fei Lap and Yung quickly sat down and devoured the food. He looked at Ping Yee, who was smiling at him. His cheeks were balled up from the food he stuffed in his mouth. He quickly swallowed half of it "Didn't you want to kill us?" he wondered that since she closed the chamber doors yesterday.
She grinned at him but didn't respond. She waited patiently as they finished the food within 15 minutes. Yung sat back as she smiled satisfactory, her stomach was no longer growling. Ping Yee stood up "I have no intention of murdering the Princess and her lover." she said sarcastically.
