Chapter 11

For the next month, the Kingdom was at peace. The King had Gin Fei and Ga Wai work together day and night to prepare for any war that might happen with the Mongolians. While the three girls went out to play. Siu Lung worked on his medicine and read all the books from his father, he quickly picked it up with the help of the Princess who explained any hard terms that he didn't know.

Gin Fei had finished his planning for the day as he lay on his bed. The door knocked. "Go away!" He wanted to rest, the door burst open without warning "I said.." He got up and saw a beautiful girl. She was dressed in the most casual pink dress with her hair long, she looked like an angel. "Im sorry, who are you?"

She quickly curtsied "Im sorry Captain, but Im new here, I thought this was the queen's room." Lee Yan smiled sweetly as she gave him an innocent look.

"Its okay, this is the guest wing, you should try out that door to your left." He was wondering who she was, such a pretty maid.

"Thank you." She bowed politely and left his room.

He was drifting off to sleep when the door opened again. Startled, he got up abruptly and saw Yu Lin. He stared at her with tired eyes. "What can I do for you Wah Siu Jei?"

"You can come out and keep me company." She lightly tugged his arm. "Please? I haven't seen you for more than a day in the past month." She missed him terribly but he was so tired. "Its the Fall Festival tonight. Can we go please?"

"Oh, thats right." He saw her puppy eyes as she pouted at him "Okay, I'll go with you. Should we call everyone out too?" Yu Lin nodded as she excitedly bounced up and down.

One by one, they went to the Princess's, Fa Fa's and Siu Lung's room to invite them out. In the streets of Ging Sing, it was busier and more festive than normal. Lanterns hung everywhere as the group walked around looking at the happy people. "Such a shame, they don't know we're at war." The Princess said gloomily.

"We're not really at war. It hasn't been declared. Don't worry too much, it'll turn out alright." He looked over and smiled at Yu Lin and Fa Fa while they played with the fireworks. He didn't notice that the Princess was looking at him. She could always count on him to cheer her up.

"Look Pr...I mean Ching Ching, I won a lantern!" Siu Lung ran to her side like an excited kid. "You can have it." Before she could reject, he ran off to play with the girls.

"He's very fond of you." Gin Fei commented as he continued to watch the three acting like kids.

"I know." She said it sadly, but he didn't seem to realize that she wasn't in a good mood. He figured she saw this every year, its probably boring to her.

Late that night, the group returned and everyone had a lantern and all the girls had tiny red windmills. As they said their good nights. Yu Lin stayed back with Gin Fei. "What were you and the Princess talking about?"

He looked at her with a sly smile "I thought you were too busy playing that you didn't even notice me." She grinned, 'it was really fun.' she thought "No, we were talking about your brother and how he likes her."

She stopped smiling and turned to him stunned. "You told the Princess that Dai Gor likes her? Why?"

He stopped smiling too, "Why not? She knew it already."

"Thats not the point, its different hearing it from the right person. If he wanted to tell her, he would have. As long as it hasn't been said, he still had a chance." She was a little upset at his carelessness.

"Well, I didn't know." he said with a litte more harsh tone.

"I suppose you didn't know that the Princess liked you too huh?" He was too naive to notice it anyways.

"She does not! Look, its late and Im really tired. I don't want to argue with you." She took it as if he just didn't want to see her.

"Fine, I don't want to talk to you either." With that she left him standing there. He stood outside for a while instead of going to sleeping. As he looked at the round moon he began to wonder about everything. 'Did the Princess really like me?' Suddenly a little shadow crossed his path, he turned around and found the young maid from that afternoon.

"Im sorry, I didn't mean to evesdrop, but I was passing by and I saw you two talking so I didn't want to intrude."

"Its okay." He said without any feeling.

"I don't want to be nosy but I thought she was being a little unreasonable." He turned to her with question eyes. "Well, you were just trying to help and it was an honest mistake. She didn't have to get so upset."

"Im glad you see it my way." He smiled. "What's your name?" He had a liking to her already, she was very sweet.

"They call me Yan Yan." She returned the smile. "Its getting late, I should leave." She got up and left, he suddenly realize that she was limping.

"What happened to your leg?" He nodded to her limping leg.

"Oh, nothing. I accidentally..tripped." She continued on her way. He was suspicious, 'You don't trip and hurt your leg.' "Good night, Captain."

"Sleep well." Whatever it was, he will find out eventually, he thought. After a few minutes he got up and went to sleep.

The next day, all the officials and Captains were joined in the Conference room with the King to have their daily meeting when the messenger announced that there was a Mongolian messenger waiting to see the King.

Curious, the King allowed him in. "Your Majesty." The messenger greeted him the Mongolian way, with one arm crossing his chest.

"What can we do for you?"

"Our King has a message for you. His Highness is very sick, there is no one out there that could save the King. He knows your country is full of talented people. He has asked if you can send someone to save him and he will back away from the border and leave you with a peace treaty."

The King thought for a minute, "I will have to think it over, please stay her overnight and I will have an answer for you tomorrow." The messenger looked worried, not knowing what to say. "Don't worry, we don't kill the messenger." He smiled weakly at the King, but eventually nodded.

In the King's room, he was holding onto his head trying to figure out what to do. Suddenly, Yan Fee came in with some tea. "Have a cup of ginseng tea, my king." He nodded thoughtfully.

"You always have good ideas, how about you help me decide what to do." He trusted her enough.

"About the Mongolian King?" She pretended to think hard. "I know, how about you ask Wah Yu Lin to help the King? Afterall, she can cure almost anyone right?" The King nodded in agreement. "You can ask Captain Hui to go along and help her out, he can protect her if something goes wrong."

"I don't know if that will work because of the relationship with her and Chan Gin Fei. She would want him to come along." He was sure of it.

"Not exactly, Captain Chan has better knowledge in martial arts, wouldn't you rather keep the better one here to protect you?" His facial _expression didn't change. "Your Highness, you have to think for yourself too, afterall you are the King. What's more important? The King or a peasant girl?" She had a point there.

"Very true. Alright, its settled then." His headache was gone. "You're so helpful in my time of need." She smiled sweetly. "Its late. Go back and rest." She obediently left, she smiled vicously as she realized her plan was working.

The following day, the King had his meeting with his men again and the Mongolian messenger was present. "I have decided on what to do." he announced "Call for Wah Siu Jei." Yu Lin entered, she looked calm as she knelt before the King. Gin Fei glanced at her but she never looked up at him. "Wah Siu Jei, I have assigned for you to go with the messenger back to Mongolia to help save their King."

Surprised she looked up "Im not sure if my studies are good enough, your majesty. I don't want to embarrase our country."

"I have faith in you. I remember how great your father was. But he was alot older than you now, while you have almost the same knowledge as he." There was no denying that.

"But what if you get sick, who will help you then." The King looked down, he didn't think of that. His face suddenly brightened.

"Wah Siu Lung. He is a gifted young man. I am sure he can assist me." She nodded, agreeing with him. "Of course I will not let you go alone without protection.

She looked up at Gin Fei, wondering if he was going with her. "Captain Hui, I want you to go with Wah Siu Jei, make sure she gets there safe and return in one peice." Gin Fei suddenly walked to the center and knelt down.

"Your majesty, I don't think thats a good idea. I think I.."

"Nonsense. I have decided already." He looked at Yu Lin "What do you think?"

"I think its a good idea, your majesty." Gin Fei stared at her while she continued to look at the King, expressionless. He laughed in glee.

"Good! So its settled. You will pack immediately and leave when you're ready. Go now." Everyone bowed as the King walked back into his office.

Outside, Gin Fei ran after Yu Lin as she walked quickly to her room. He got a hold of her arm an spun her around. "Are you crazy? Why did you agree to go with him?"

"What, you're finally worried now? Its a little too late, Chan Gin Fei." she was still angry from their last fight. 'Girls hold such long grudges.' he thought.

"I don't trust that guy."

"Well, it doesn't matter now. The King already ordered us to go. I have no choice." She was so stubborn.

"You could have said no." He couldn't believe her.

"There's no use in arguing, I have to go pack now. Let go of my arm, please." She said coldly. He let go and she stormed off.

Ga Wai and Yu Lin was ready to leave the Palace when suddenly someone yelled from a few yards away "Wait for me!" It was Fa Fa. "I want to come along too!" she said breathlessly.

"Fa Fa, its a long journey and it will be very dangerous around the mountains." Yu Lin was worried for her, she didn't want Gin Fei to get upset over this too.

"My home is by the mountains. I walk there all the time. I want to come along. Its so boring here and Si Hing isn't exactly the nicest to me lately." She said sarcastically. Yu Lin knew it too.

"Just let her come along. We need a little person to carry our bags anyway." Ga Wai teased. Fa Fa gave him the evil eye.

"Alright, did you tell Fe...your Si Hing yet?" She nodded 'yes', but she was lying because Gin Fei didn't know. They were still not in good terms.

"Lets go." Yu Lin glanced behind her as they walked through the Palace door. He didn't even come see her off.

Up on the gate, Gin Fei looked down watching the three walk off. "Be safe, Yu Lin." He didn't like to have her leave still upset at him. He turned around and walk back to the Palace sadly, wondering what would become of them. He doesn't even know how long it'll be until he could see her again.

Chapter 12

It was a week into their journey when the girls were exhausted from walking. Ga Wai was walking through a village when he realized the girls had disappeared. He ran back and spotted them eating in a restaurant and chatting.

"Gosh, my legs are killing me!" Fa Fa exclaimed as they sat and rested.

"We have to continue, we can rest at the next village." Ga Wai said, commanding them.

The girls ignored him and continued to eat when the food came. Ga Wai sighed, he was out numbered. He sat down and join them. He picked up his chopsticks and began to pick at the vegetable dish when Fa Fa snapped his hand with her chopsticks. "Thats not for you! Yu Lin Jei ordered that." He raised his eyebrow and started to go for the other chicken dish when Yu Lin snapped him with her chopsticks and shook her head, pointed to Fa Fa indicating that it was her dish.

"Hey, thats enough! What am I going to eat?!" He got angry and stood up, a couple of people started to stare at them. So he sat down. "I thought we could share."

The girls looked at each other and giggled. Fa Fa stopped and stared at him "You order your own food okay?" He turned around and ordered food from the waiter. As he waited for his, the girls was eating theirs. By the time his food came, the girls were done and they got up and started to leave.

"Wait, aren't you going to wait for me?"

Linking arm in arm, Yu Lin replied "But its getting late, we have to be on our way, we are on a mission, you know." they giggled at his red face. "Oh by the way, thank you for lunch." They laughed and walked away together. Angrily, Ga Wai ordered the waiter to wrap it up for him as he paid and quickly got up to follow them. They were more trouble than he thought!

Back at the Palace. The Princess and Siu Lung were still growing the flowers when she looked around for Gin Fei, he was sitting near them a minute ago. "Where's Fei Gor?" The two looked around but couldn't find them.

"Maybe he went to the rest room." Siu Lung sugested. He shrugged his shoulders and continued on. While the Princess was still worried, he hasn't said much at all since Yu Lin left. "How about we have desert tonight? I'll cook." He interupted her thought.

She smiled "Sure, I didn't know you can cook."

"There's alot of stuff you don't know about me." He was teasing, but in truth she knew more than he thought.

"What are you going to make?" She was curious now.

"You'll see...Im not going to give away my secret recipe, but if you're nicer to me, maybe I will give it to you." He was flirting now.

She blushed and turned away. They continued without saying anything else.

Back in his room, Gin Fei was lying on his bed looking at his necklace that was left to him by his father. The only think he had left from his parents. The necklace was very special, it was made from jade with an intricate round design. The necklace had two chains. He never knew why though. He was fidgiting with it when the jade charm split in half. Surprised, he sat up thinking that he broke it. But when he looked closely, it was made that way. There were two necklaces now, he smiled at the smart design. Who ever thought of it...maybe it was his parent's idea? He made a mental note to ask his Si Fu.

There was a sudden knock on the door. "Come in." He got up to sit at his little table for a cup of tea. It was Lee Yan. "Yan Yan? Did you need something?" He hasn't seen her for a week now, he was a little worried because she was limping the last time he saw her.

"No, I haven't seen you around, so I was worried about you. But seeing that you're okay, I'll leave." She was about to turn and leave when he stopped her.

"Wait, how's your leg?"

"Its okay now." she lifted it so he could see that she's okay.

He suddenly noticed a marking on her forhead, it was covered by her bangs but still noticable. "Come over here." She widened her eyes in fear, then she knelt down.

"No, please don't tell anyone. I'll die!" Worried overcame him as he pulled her up from the floor.

"Did someone hit you?" She shook her head not answering. "Don't lie to me, I can tell it was done by a hard object."

"Please don't tell." He nodded, thinking who could have done this to her?

"It was the queen. Her old maid retired and they brought me here, but I guess Im not use to the queen's way of doing things. So...but its okay. I didn't know that she liked warm water when she washed her face, I brought in cold water and she threw a cup at me, thats all." Her eyes filled with tears as she tried to hold her voice back from crying.

"Why that's ridiculous!! Just because she's a queen doesn't mean she could just hit anyone. Im going to talk to the King." He got up to go when she held onto his arm.

"No, I will die if you tell anyone. Please don't. I trusted you enough to tell you." His eyes softened at the sight of the frantic girl. He touch her hand which was gripping on his arm. She quickly let go. "Im sorry. I have to go now." She left without saying anything else.

He felt so sorry for her, he wanted to protect her. This is no place for a sweet girl like that, he thought. As he thought of the word protect, Yu Lin came into his mind. He remembered that he had promise to protect her at all times. And here, hundred of miles away from her, not able to protect her at all.

The three travelled on as they got closer to the mountains, around the corner was Fa Fa's home but she didn't mention it to Yu Lin. It was getting colder from the season change and the snow on the mountains. They had to cross the snowy mountains according to their destination map. The girls were holding onto each other to keep warm, they didn't realize that their protector had wandered off somewhere. "Where's the King's dog?" Fa Fa said, she made a nickname for him, of course he doesn't know.

"I don't know, I didn't even see him leave." Yu Lin looked around but didn't see anyone. She heard the sound of wooshing, like someone flying. She pulled Fa Fa behind a tree with her. Fa Fa was about to say something when they saw a bunch of masked men flew in from all directions.

"I thought I saw them." One said, they looked around.

The girls kept quiet, but when a tiny spider started crawling down the tree onto Fa Fa's shoulders, she couldn't hold it and screamed "Ah!! Ew, get it off me!!" She brushed the spider off her as Yu Lin helped her.

"HA HA HA!" The men laughed as they saw the frantic girl. "We've been looking for you two."

The girls looked at each other, prepared to fight. It made the men laugh even harder. "They think they can beat us."

Yu Lin snickered "You never know until you try." The men attacked as the girls fought back with force. Yu Lin knew there were too many of them, they would eventually lose. 'Where is that darn Captain when you need him!' Fa Fa thought.

The five men were too strong for the girls, they eventually got hurt from their attackers. "Master would be happy to have two more pretty wives for him." The girls looked at each other in fear.

"How about he ask this girl's father for her hand in marriage first?" Behind them appeared an elder man.

"Father!" Fa Fa yelled in relief. Yu Lin looked at the elder man, he looked too weak to fight anyone off.

He fought the men as the girls got up to watch. They were about to help when Ga Wai jumped into the center, using his sword he fought with the five men. The elder man jumped from the circle to the girls. He sternly looked at his daugter "What are you doing here?! Didn't I tell you that there are alot of mountain thieves? You really don't listen to me do you?!" She pouted at him but returned to look at the ongoing fight.

"Yu Lin Jei, is he holding fur capes?" He was wearing one and carrying two. Yu Lin nodded, she noticed it too.

Finally, the men were defeated. "Kill them!" Fa Fa yelled out. Ga Wai took a step closer to the fallen men.

"Get out of here, if you come close to those girls again, I will kill you!" They ran off quickly as he watched them disappear.

"Why did you let them go?" He ignored Fa Fa and quickly wrapped a cape onto her shoulders. He walked to Yu Lin to do the same when she put out her hand motioning for him to hand it to her.

"Thank you." She said politely. "Aren't you going to introduce us, Fa Fa?"

"Oh, yeah, thats my Si Fu." The old man turned to his daughter about to yell at her "I mean, my father." She said sticking her tongue out. "This is Wah Yu Lin." She walked to her father's side "Si Hing's girlfriend." she whispered.

The old man, forgetting to scold his daughter smiled widely at Yu Lin "Oh, the daughter of the famous doctor." All of a sudden, he kneeled down. "Your father gave me my life back over 15 years ago. I was dying as I came upon his home." She quickly pulled the man up, smiling 'finally, some people my father saved.' "He was so kind, he didn't even ask who I was, he just saved me."

"My father was very strange, he only saved people when he was in a good mood. I guess you were just one of the lucky ones." She said modestly.

"We're going to freeze out here you know." Ga Wai didn't want any sick girls travelling with him. One was a brat and the other one just doesn't like him. He had to carry out his plan smoothly.

"Oh, goodness, where are my manners. Please come with me." Fa Fa came to her father's side and escorted him to their home nearby. Inside the tiny cottage was warmer, it was full of shelves with books against the wall. Yu Lin picked up a book, it was on Buddha. "Books are the only friends Ive got lately, considering my little girl doesn't even like to stay with me for one day." He teased Fa Fa. She pretended not to notice.

"Its great that you enjoy doing something like that. Books do expand the mind." She smiled, he was a sweet old man. She understood why Fa Fa would be so bored here though, it was so plain.

"Have some tea, Yu Lin Jei." She brought out a plate holding three cups of tea.

"Oh good, Im thirsty." Ga Wai reached for a cup when she hit his hand. "You like doing that don't you." he said annoyed. "Am I not a guest?"

"No, your a dog." The girls giggled at their inside joke. Ga Wai confused and upset returned to his seat in the corner.

"My, even General Hui's son can't stand my daughter." He turned to his girl "There's no hope for you." She made a face at her father and turned to Ga Wai as he smiled because someone agreed with him.

"You're very wise. I didn't think you knew who my father was." He said proudly, at least he's well known out in the world.

"Sure I do, he was my arched enemy. He was the one that hurt me so bad I was half alive when I arrived at the Wah's." He didn't seem upset, but Ga Wai's _expression changed solemn, he knew his dad had alot of enemies. "It was an old problem we had that can never be resolved. But he sure wanted me dead." The man had a far away look in his eyes. "Thats why he dispised Wah Dai Fu when he saved my life."

Yu Lin had sensed something hateful about the General, but didn't know what, she understood now. Whatever happened in the past, it must have been pretty bad.

"Well, you three need to rest, you have to travel to Mongolia. It will be another week before you get there." The three surprised that he would know, he sensed their questioning gaze "There's a message in every village indicating your journey. Sounds like the king is very proud of you three." they smiled at each other for the first time on the journey, knowing that they were appreciated.

They all went to sleep, there wasn't enough room in the house so Fa Fa volunteered Ga Wai to sleep outside. "You're the protector, its only fair that you stay outside to guard." She closed the door behind him and later returned to give him a huge blanket. Without saying anything else, she walked back. She didn't need him to thank her, but deep down he was grateful.

Chapter 13

The time flew by quickly, the three were almost at the border. Excited that they finally reached their destination, they were suddenly stopped by the Mongolian guards.

"We were sent here to help your King." Ga Wai explained when the guards looked ready to attack the foreigners.

"What kind of welcome is this. Does the King not know we're here?" Fa Fa snickered at the guards.

"They are guests! Let them come in." A strong and powerful voice yelled from the gate entrance. The young guy (Sunny Chan **Guest appearance**) looked like a General or someone from the higher officials. "Please, follow me. My father is waiting. I am the Prince of Mongolia." He bowed politely as he held his hand out for the visitors to walk through.

He led them through the gates to a tiny village of huts that were set up for the people to live. The girls looked around, they marveled at the designs and the clothing were all made of fur due to the cold weather. "We're going to live in huts?" Fa Fa said in disgust, she didn't like the idea of that at all.

The Prince heard her comment "Of course not, this is for the commenors and peasants. You will be staying in the Palace." Fa Fa smiled as she blushed.

Their Palace wasn't as big as the one in Ging Sing, but it was half the size. Still fit for a King. The Prince stopped his guests "Wah Siu Jei, please follow me." he was looking at Fa Fa. The girls tried to hide their smile, realizing that he got the wrong person he apologized immediately "Im sorry, I thought..." he trailed off when the King's maid ran outside, fear in her eyes. "My father isn't doing well?"

Yu Lin ran inside following the Prince. "Father, what's wrong", the King was shivering like a kid in the snow. He had on about four fur blankets. She quickly came to his side, feeling his pulse. It was going so fast that she couldn't detect what was wrong. "What is it? What's wrong with him?" She didn't dare tell him that she didn't know. He mistook her look and thought she meant to have the servants leave. He nodded for them to leave.

She suddenly had a plan, she took off the fur blankets. "The King has been too warm under the blankets, at any time that he leaves his bed, he will be extremely cold." She watched as the Mongolian King slowly stopped shivering

The Prince nodded "He left his bed this morning to take a walk, he said it was making him too tired sleeping all day. So I took him out, I had no idea." He look shameful as if he made his father more sick.

"Its not your fault, I think he would have eventually left the bed considering a person can stay in on place for so long." assuring him that it wasn't his fault.

"Can we do something to help him?"

"It might take me a while to find a cure, but if you have patience, I will be able to help him." He nodded kindly at the new girl. She was very passionate about her work. He can tell that she would do all she can. Even if his father died, he would still do the Peace Treaty with her country.

Its been a month since Yu Lin left the Palace. Gin Fei was slowing adapting to his life without her. Afterall, he had a new companion, Yan Yan. She came by his room every now and then to bring him tea or food. She marveled as he practice his martial arts, getting better by the day. He wanted to introduce her to the Princess and Siu Lung but she was always abruptly called in by the queen. He figured they would have more time later anyways.

The Princess woke up in the late afternoon, she was extra tired that day. The season was changing and it was colder than normal. She got out of bed to go visit her brother and the queen. She was walking out when Siu Lung came up to her "Princess, are you going to the garden? I was waiting for you since this morning." She forgot that they were going to plant new flowers.

"Im sorry, Lung Gor, I forgot." she apologized sincerely.

He gazed at her face for a while. "You're sick."

She attempted to smile "No, I feel fine." She took a few steps up and a gust of cold wind blew past their faces. He was walking beside her when she suddenly wobbled back. He caught her in time, she was unconscious.

"Princess! Ching Ching! Someone help me!" The King was walking towards the Princess's room direction, he was planning to visit her too. When he heard Siu Lung yelling. At the same time Gin Fei ran over and the maids all approached wondering what had happened.

Forgetting that he was a doctor now Siu Lung asked the maid "Call for a doctor." She looked at him blankly. Realizing that he was one, he picked her up and brought her into her room. The King, with his worried _expression turned to Siu Lung. He's never seen him so frantic before, he's usually more calm.

"What happened?" The King asked.

"She just fainted." He felt her pulse. "It looks like a common cold, but I want to make sure. Can everyone leave, please?" There were too many people there.

The King waved at the servants, but Gin Fei stayed back. "Its okay, I'll be here." Gin Fei still worried but he eventually obliged and left the room.

The rest of the day Siu Lung and the King was inside the Princess's room taking care of her. Late that night, the King finally left because he had to rest. "You take care of her, if anything happens, let me know."

"Yes, your majesty." The King took one good look at his sister and left.

Outside Gin Fei still sat on the steps waiting to see her condition. "Captain Chan, you might as well go to bed, its too late now. Siu Lung will watch after her." Gin Fei stood up and bowed.

"I will." The King left, not as worried anymore.

"Is she okay?" Lee Yan asked. She was behind him.

"I think so." he rubbed his eyes, he's been sitting there since the afternoon without any food in his stomach.

"Here I brought you some food." She brought out a basket with some steamed buns for him. He ate them slowly, he was still worried for the Princess but at the same time he thinking of Yu Lin.

"She loved eating these steamed buns." He said quietly.

"Your girlfriend?" He nodded. "You really miss her, don't you?" He smiled.

"Too bad she doesn't miss me." He wasn't sure how they ended up that way. There was no word from her at all.

"Why don't you go and visit her?" He looked at her thoughtfully, maybe he should. "You could take the horse out and visit her."

"But what would the King say?" He was sure that the King would not understand.

'Not if I can help it.' She thought to herself. She needed him gone if she was going to continue with her plan.

"What are you doing here?!" A familiar voice roared from behind them. It was the General. "Aren't you suppose to be with the queen?!"

"Im sorry, I was about to leave right now." She answered in terror. The General suddenly slapped her across the face. She held her face in pain.

"Don't lie, you've been here for over half an hour!!" He was about to strike again when Gin Fei stopped him.

"That is not necessary, General. She didn't do anything wrong. She was just worried about the Princess." The General threw his arm away from Gin Fei's grasp.

"So you changed your feelings now? First that Wah girl and now this...peasant maid?!" He spit the words out.

"That is none of your business!" He glared at the General daring him.

"And you, why are you still here?" He yelled at Lee Yan. She was quite convincing, crying in pain and so fearful of her 'partner'. He turned around and walked away in anger.

"Are you okay? That jerk! I swear, when I get the chance, I will teach him a lesson!" She laughed at his sweet anger. "What's so funny?"

"He's much more powerful than you." she said reasonably.

"Yes, but Im much younger." He gently touched her face, there was a huge hand print. What kind of a man would strike a woman?

"Ahem!" The two turned around to see Siu Lung. "Well, that was a nice gesture." he said sarcastically. His sister was just gone for a month and he's changed his feelings already. He looked at the girl, she was very familiar, but it was too dark to see her features.

"I have to go now." Lee Yan said quickly, she turned around and smiled gratefully at Gin Fei.

Without saying another word, Siu Lung turned the other way towards the medicine room. Gin Fei stood there, confused of his feelings. Did he just want someone to protect? He wasn't sure just yet, but he knew that he must see Yu Lin.

Back in Lee Yan's room, she touched her face. He did slap her really hard, maybe too convincing she thought. She suddenly smiled at the thought of Gin Fei when he protected her. 'No, I must not have feelings for him!' She walked to her bed and noticed the General was there. "Lee Yan, our plan must not fail. You cannot fall in love with this guy."

She stubbornly answered "Im not, but I will have to get rid of him for a few weeks according to our plan. I know exactly what to do." She smiled wickedly. Although deep down she knew that something was growing inside her, she can't control it either.

The next morning. The King went to see his sister again, he found Siu Lung asleep in by her bed. He was pulling up the Princess's blanket when she woke up from the sudden movement. "Wong Gor." She said weakly, noticing Siu Lung by her side, she smiled considerably. "He's been here all night?" she whispered carefully not to wake him up.

"Yes, this young guy was very careful with you yesterday." The King spoke so loud that Siu Lung woke up. Realizing the King was there, he fumbled as he attempted to kneel. "No need for politeness. Actually, you need some rest too." His eyes were dark from staying up all night.

"I've bothered you too much, Lung Gor." She felt bad, he looked awful.

"No, I wanted to make sure that you're okay." She smiled assuring him just that.

There was a sudden knock on the door. "Come in." The Princess said as she sat up leaning on her bed.

"Your majesty." It was Gin Fei. The King motioned him to come in. He noticed that Siu Lung gave him a dirty look while the Princess acknowledge him. "I wanted to request something I know is not right but I must ask." The King nodded thoughtfully.

"What is it?"

"I want to go to Mongolia." The King's face turned down, he quickly explained "Well, its been a month now and I haven't heard anything from my Si Mui and Yu Lin. Also the General should be worried about his son, right? I just want to make sure that they are alright. My Si Fu wrote me a letter a few days ago to see if his daughter is safe." The King held up his hand for Gin Fei to stop.

The Princess looked at Siu Lung, his facial _expression softened from that evil eye he gave Gin Fei earlier. "I think its a good idea. The kingdom has been very peaceful lately. Afterall, you still have General Hui here. Fei Gor would only be gone for a while, he can take my white stallion. That way it will be even faster." The King looked from the Princess to Gin Fei.

He stared at Gin Fei for a while and then he finally said "Well, what are you waiting for, go back and pack. You leave as soon as possible, come back safely." The King smiled as he saw Gin Fei's face light up with anticipation.

"Thank you! Thank you so much your majesty!" Siu Lung even had to smile at the look on his face.

"Give Yu Lin my love." Gin Fei nodded understandingly.

"I will. Take care of the Princess, you're doing a great job anyways." He winked at the Princess and left the room to get ready.

Chapter 14

Gin Fei rushed back to his room as he packed his clothes to see Yu Lin. He quickly stuffed his bag with clothes and ran out the door forgetting to close it. He walked out the Palace gate where the white stallion awaited for him.

"Fei Gor." A girl's voice called out. He turned and saw Yan Yan chasing after him. She was carrying a little bag of food. She approached him breathlessly, but with a big smile. "These are for you." She handed him that bag.

"Thank you." He said gratefully, "Take care of yourself. I should be back in a few weeks."

She nodded as she tried not to cry. She already missed him, it was hard to admit it but she was falling hard for this guy. No one's ever cared that much for her after Ah Hung before.

He jumped on the horse and it galloped at the whip of Gin Fei. He just wanted to make sure Yu Lin was safe and sound.

A week later in Mongolia.

"Your Majesty, please lie down on your back." He obediently did as she told. She slowly placed the needles on his back. But he shivered every time she came close. Apparently he was afraid of them, like Fa Fa. "Im sorry, but I can't help you if you keep moving." Suddenly she thought of the freeze point, right behind the neck. She quickly placed a needle there, in a flash he was stiff as a rock. She smiled at herself, she never had to use that before, it was kinda fun.

After a few hours, she removed the needles and the King was completly rested. She walked outside the room to let him rest when she ran into the Prince. "How is he doing?" he asked with concern.

"A lot better. At this rate, he will be fully recovered in a week." He smiled genuinely.

"Thank you so much. You've been quite some help. I assume, you would like to go home now. I know Lam Siu Jei does." She smiled at the thought of Fa Fa being stuck here for over a month, she's probably pulling out her hair by now.

Yu Lin nodded, "I won't leave until the King is up and about again." He admired her sense of responsibility.

"Well, that will give me more time to show you around. You've been stuck here all month, I know its been hard." She smiled knowing what he meant.

That night they walked around the city along with Fa Fa and Ga Wai. The two seemed to be better friends lately. Maybe because Fa Fa only had one companion since Yu Lin spent most of her time helping the King. "Yu Lin Jei, what's that over there?" Fa Fa grabbed her arm playfully as she pointed to an owner of a tiny restaurant cooking something on the sidewalk.

"I don't know, but why don't you ask the Prince?" She teased "Afterall, Im not Mongolian." She pouted her lips, Yu Lin knew she didn't want to ask because she would feel strange so she turned to the Prince "What is that he's cooking?" She pointed to the man cooking a flat piece of sticky white flour like substance.

"Oh, thats a kind of dessert thats very popular here in Mongolia. Would you like to try it?" Yu Lin looked at Fa Fa and she was grinning. The Prince laughed as he led his guests to the little food stand. "Five pieces please." The old man smiled as he passed the food on to his customers.

The group slowly ate the dessert, it was still very hot. "Ouch! Its hot." Fa Fa burned her tongue.

"No one's going to eat all your dessert, you don't have to rush" Ga Wai said sarcastically. Yu Lin and the Princed laughed when Fa Fa attempted to hit him. He carefully dodged her at the same time he reached for her dessert and successfully took it from her. "Thanks, I wanted another one." He said teasingly as he held it up waving it to her as she tried to take it back.

"Hey, I wanted to eat it, you're fingers are dirty....stop!" She yelled but laughed at the same time. She actually was having fun. Suddenly the dessert plopped on the ground when it broke off from where Ga Wai was holding it. "See what you did?!" She whined.

He felt bad so he gave his dessert to Fa Fa. "Im sorry, here you could have mine." He held it out, instead she pushed his hand aside and it flew to the ground. She gasped, she didn't mean for that to happen.

"Aiya! Don't waste the food if you didn't like it!" Yu Lin jokingly said as the two looked at her desert. They started chasing after her for the food. She quickly dodged them and ran the opposite direction. The Princed laughed happily as he shook his head and followed them.

Later on that day, they passed by a fabric store with a lot of fur material. Fa Fa stopped to look, wondering what she would look like in a Mongolian outfit. As if reading her mind, Yu Lin walked up beside her. "You want to see? Lets go!" she dragged her inside as the two guys gave each other questioned looks.

"Oh, you wanted to see the Mongolian outfits? Why didn't you say so, we can have the Palace taylor make them for you." The Prince smiled at the two giddy girls. "Lets go back now." The girls looked at each other and followed the Prince. Ga Wai rolled his eyes, 'girls are so vain.' Afterall they are still Chinese, how strange would they look in Mongolian dresses?

Back in the Palace, the taylor took out two female Mongolian dresses for the girls to try on. It was actually for the Princess who did not fit them so she left them aside. It fit the girls perfect though. They even tried on the beaded head-dresses as it dangled along their face. The girls giggled excitedly admiring each other. "Yu Lin Jei, I like your head-dress, its so much nicer." She said, "Everything looks better on you. I look so fat in this" Fa Fa put her hands on her hips showing Yu Lin.

"Don't be silly, you look adorable. Im sure Captain Hui will agree." She winked playfully.

"Cheh! What would he know what looks good on a girl? He's like a stone, no feelings!" Inside she could wait to see his reaction.

"Come on!! We have to go to dinner with the King soon!!" Ga Wai called them through the close door.

"Okay, we're coming!!" Fa Fa yelled back. They took one look in the mirror and walked out. The _expression on the Prince and Ga Wai described exactly how the girls looked to them.

Ga Wai was shocked, she looked even cuter in the Mongolian outfit! The Prince smiled as he admired Yu Lin, she looked like a natural Mongolian Princess. Fa Fa didn't apeal to him much, she was much too childish.

"You ladies look absolutely gorgeous." The Prince complimented. The girls smiled with embarrassment. Fa Fa glanced at Ga Wai to see what his reaction was. He just looked away. He didn't want to stare at her for so long, his mission was too important to worry about girls and love.

"Okay, lets go!" Disappointed, Fa Fa followed as Yu Lin and the Prince walked behind Ga Wai.

Outside, the seats were saved for the new guests, they sat beside the King, who looked a lot healthier now. He was able to enjoy the dinner with his guests after one month. The King stood up in the middle of the dinner "I would like to propose a toast to Wah Siu Jei, who selflessly saved my life using all she can. Please join me in thanking her!" Everyone held up their cups facing Yu Lin. She grinned, her face blushing at the kind gesture.

They continued the night with food and dancing. Even the girls came inside the circle to join the dance. Ga Wai smiled as he gazed at Fa Fa laughing so hard she held onto her stomach. She wasn't as bad as he thought she was.

After the dinner, they walked back to their rooms. Everyone tired but still happy from earlier that night. It was the first time they were fully relaxed. Yu Lin couldn't wait to get back home. She wondered if Gin Fei ever got any of her mail because he never responded. Or was he still mad?. When she bid her good nights to everyone, she prepared to go to sleep. Suddenly from the corner of her eye, she saw a black shadow crossing the roof top. She quickly looked up, it was gone. Suspicious she decided to go around the Palace to see. She couldn't find anyone suspicious, so she turned to go back to her room. When a person put their hands on her mouth covering her scream. "Don't move, I won't hurt you. I just want to find Wah Yu Lin's room."

It was Gin Fei. Shocked, she struggled for him to let her go so she could tell him it was her. He was too strong, instead she tickled him on the side of his waist where she knew was his weak spot. Yu Lin spun around and faced him, "Fei Gor!" His face brightened as he came to recognize her, she was still in the Mongolian dress. He touched the beads around her face.

"Cute. I didn't even recognize you." He smiled as he pulled her into a warm hug. She embraced him back as tight. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too." She said softly. He pulled her away to see her face.

"You do?"

"Of course, why do you think I wrote you a letter a day?" he stared at her blankly.

"What letters? I didn't get any. I thought you were mad at me still."

She wondered what had happened. "It doesn't matter, as long as you're here, did you come to visit me?"

"Yes, I didn't hear from you for over a month, I was worried sick. How is my bratty Si Mui?"

She smiled "She's fine, actually she's getting along very well with Captain Hui." His smiled faded at the sound the General's son's name. "He's not as bad as his father. I just hope he is serious towards Fa Fa."

"I'll worry about them later. Come, I have something to show you." She followed him as he took to the edge of a cliff where there was a perfect view of the night sky with million of stars above their heads. He sat down on the grass and motioned for her to sit down. He pulled her close as he wrapped his arms around her from the back. "Close your eyes." She looked at him slyly. "I won't hurt you." he teased. She did as he told "Okay, open them." In front of her was the jade charm with the two chains that he always wore.

"You can't give that to me! Doesn't it belong to your parents?" He nodded and without saying anything, bent the charm in half and the chains split up into two. She gasp at the smart design. "Oh my, how?" He quickly put a chain around her neck.

"Now I have one and you have one. That way, you will remember that you only belong to me." He smiled as she shifted her face down with shyness. He was beginning to have doubts of his feelings but when he saw her eyes, he knew that it was love. She meant too much to him.

"Thank you." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Remember my promise to you?" She nodded "I intend to keep it." he said solemnly.

She layed on his shoulder as he hugged her tighter. They stayed that way until sunrise, talking about everything that's happened.

Chapter 15

Lee Yan sat by herself in her room thinking of her next move. She has been successful in giving him a cup of tea at least once a week with a bit of poison. It would be a little hard with his little sister and Siu Lung constantly watching him...what if....she suddenly trailed off as she thought about Gin Fei. An unexpected smile crossed her face, not realizing that the General had entered her room when she didn't answer.

"Thinking of Captain Chan, aren't you?" She suddenly noticed his presence. Her face turned hard, she hated it when he did that.

"Of course not! I was thinking of the next step in our plan thats all." She was a little more than annoyed now.

"Lee Yan, I cannot let anything go wrong. We've been doing this for too long to let it all fail because you fell in love." He was a heartless old man. So much greed in his eyes as he spoke to her.

She didn't say anything for a minute. "I know what to do." She suddenly got up and walked out leaving him standing in her room. After a while, the General eventually came out.

Hidden nearby around the corner to Lee Yan's room was Siu Lung. He saw the General come out of her room looking upset. 'Are they having an affair? Shouldn't she be at the temple?' he thought. He decided to see the Princess and let her know.

When he got there, Lee Yan was already there. "Thank you, Yan Fee, this is too nice. I don't deserve it." The Princess handed back the jade bracelet Lee Yan was trying to give to her.

"Don't be silly, I had them buy it especially for you. Look, you don't want the King to yell at me for being careless with his little adorable sister right?" She saw Siu Lung standing by the door, her face brightened with a fake smile. "Siu Lung! Come in...don't stand out there, its too cold." She motioned for him to sit down.

"Lung Gor, look what Yan Fee got me!" Ching Ching held out her wrist, "Isn't it beautiful?" She turned to the queen "I didn't even know when you came back!" she gave Lee Yan a teasing smile.

"Oh, Im not noticed that much around here, your brother is so busy with running the country and taking care of his precious wife." Her voice was sweet, but it was full of envy. Siu Lung sensed it but the Princess didn't seem to notice. "Anyways, I must go, you two can talk since it looks like Siu Lung was looking for you." She nodded politely and left.

Siu Lung nodded back and waited for her to leave. "Princess, what did she say to you?" Ching Ching was admiring the jade bracelet when she looked up confused.

"What do you mean? She just gave me a present. What happened, why are you so suspicous of Yan Fee?"

"I saw her leave her room earlier and after a few minutes, the General came out after her. He looked really upset." The Princess's face was expressionless.

She shrugged her shoulders "Maybe you mistaken, people look like people from far away."

"No, Im very positive of what I saw." She was so naive, always trusting everyone. It was a surprise no one has taken advantage of her yet.

"Well, maybe they are planning Wong Gor's birthday banquet, its coming up soon." He didn't think of that, maybe it was. But why did the General look so mad? He turned his attention back to the Princess and laughed when he noticed her facial _expression. She was blindly looking at the jade bracelet like it was the most wonderful thing in the world.

"What's so funny?" He laughed harder when he saw her puppy eyes.

"Nothing." he stopped laughing but continued to smile "You really like that bracelet don't you?"

She shook her head "No, I don't care for jewelery, but for some reason, I really like this. I think its the way its cut, its almost mesmerizing when you look at it." She showed it to him as he stared hard at it. There was something suspicious about it, but he wasn't sure what.

"What are you going to get the King?" He tried to change the subject.

"I don't know, Im running out of ideas. But Im thinking maybe this year, I will do something different. I started on the project but...well, can you give me some advice on it?" He nodded.

She walked over to her little closet and pulled out an average size box. When she opened it, he gasped at the intricate drawing of a beautiful young girl on the twin glass vase. "Its beautiful, don't tell me you drew this!" One was almost done while the other vase was blank.

She blushed as he gushed over her artistic talent. "Oh, its not that good. But I wanted to give him something different."

"Who is it that you are drawing?"

"No one, its my idea of the perfect women, her flowing arms covering her face as she sheild it from the sun. Strong yet weak, beautiful yet plain and feminine yet still independent." She was describing someone she hoped to be like one day.

"Sounds like you're describing yourself." he teased. Siu Lung really believed it too, she was definitely perfect in his eyes.

"Lung Gor, you're too much." She suddenly thought of Gin Fei, wondering how he is. "Have you heard anything on Fei Gor or Yu Lin? They've been gone for so long."

Siu Lung looked away thoughtfully, he has been quite worried about his sister. He shook his head lightly "No, wherever they are, Im sure they will be just fine."

Mongolia

They watched the sunrise appear behind the mountains, "Yu Lin, if we can do this everyday, wouldn't it be great?" He glanced down at her face. She was sleeping peacefully, lying against his chest. He lightly kissed her on the forehead, she woke up abruptly from his kiss.

"Oh, the sunrise! Why didn't you wake me up?" He smiled. She turned her head down when he didn't stop smiling and continued to stare at her with adoring eyes.

"You have the sweetest look on your face when you're sleeping. But when you wake up, its a whole different story!" He jumped up as she tried to hit him. They giggled as they chased each other back to the palace.

The King, the Prince, Fa Fa and Ga Wai was waiting for Yu Lin back at the palace when she didn't return that night before. "Where do you think she went?" Fa Fa was worried, it wasn't like her to just leave without a sign.

Just as Ga Wai was about to calm her, they saw Yu Lin come in holding hands with Gin Fei. They were smiling as they entered the room. "Si Hing!" Fa Fa ran over to Gin Fei "You came? Oh, but not to visit me." She pouted her lips.

"Of course I came to see you, but you were sleeping like a pig when I came in your room last night. So I decided not to bother you." She rolled her eyes and went back to her seat, knowing that he was just teasing.

"You must be Captain Chan Gin Fei, Ive heard alot about you." The Prince walked over as he greeted the new guest. "Yu Lin Siu Jei has talked about you non-stop."

"She did? I didn't know!" Fa Fa yelled across the room. "She never talked about you to me, Si Hing!" She shook her head playfully. Ga Wai muffled his giggle. "What's so funny?" She gave him a dirty look and turned away.

"As you can see, Captain Hui is still tolerating Lam Siu Jei." Yu Lin teased. The group laughed.

"Well, don't be such a stranger. Sit down, we must have breakfast." The King announced.

They sat and chatted for a long time getting to know one another. When the Queen's maid came running out whispering something to the King. The group quieted down and watched as the King got up and ran to the back room. The Prince apologized as he ran after the King.

They didn't want to be rude, so the four sat and waited patiently to hear the news. The Prince came out and walked straight to Yu Lin "Can you come with me please?" She looked around at the three, they nodded and she followed the Prince.

"My mother is very sick. We're suspecting it has something to do with this incurable poison that we found in the drinking water of a nearby well that the city uses. We have found it in a few poeple last year, but it started to spread about a month ago." He explained as they walked quickly to the Queen's room.

"No one knows what it is?" She was curious, how could they not have stopped the spreading?

"No, the doctors here have given up. Its not what my father got either, it looks alot more deadly. Like a slow death, the people that got this disease has been sick for the past year...." he stopped suddenly. He saw the King walk out with his head down. The Prince ran over to see his mother, but the King held his hand up letting him know it was too late.

"She's gone. The pain was too much for her, so she stabbed herself to death." The King's voice trembled as he told his son.

"Im so sorry." Yu Lin said solemnly, she has only been there for a little over a month, but they have treated her with nothing but respect. It was so sad to see such a tragedy.

"Take my father to his room" The Prince commanded to one of the maids. "I will take care of her funeral, father." the King nodded as he was escorted back.

He turned to Yu Lin with tears in his eyes, "There's something I want you to see. Actually, lets have your people come along." He walked to the front room, where the three were waiting. He quickly explained the saddened situation and continued "The people that have gotten sick this year has been put into a village because we didn't want them to infect this whole area."

"Why did you put them in one place? What about their family members that were not infected?" Fa Fa asked.

"They are basically..." he paused, not able to continue.

"Waiting there to die?" Ga Wai answered for him. The Prince nodded.

"There's nothing we can do?" Yu Lin wanted to help.

"Maybe. We all thought my father was going to die until you came along. I was hoping you can find a cure."

"Its worth a try, Yu Lin." Gin Fei urged when she didn't answer.

"Lets take a look." The five walked to the village which was a few miles from the city. It looked deserted as they came up. When they got closer, they could see the sick people. There were old, young, kids and newborn babies. They all looked so somber and sick. Her heart ached as she saw all the people. It was worse than when she lived by herself in a village and they threw the sick people there to die. This was much worse, they knew they were dying and there was nothing they could do about it. It was a long and agonizing death.

Gin Fei read her mind. "What a way to die." She looked at him understandingly.

"I don't want to ask you to do this because we don't know how contaminated this disease is." Fa Fa quickly covered her mouth with her sleeve.

"We can get sick from being around these people?" She was scared.

"I don't think so. It looks like you can only get it by intaking the food that has the disease." Ga Wai said wisely. He obviously knew because he was sent to poison the same village a year ago.

"Thats very true." Yu Lin agreed. "I don't know what I could do, but I will try my best." The Prince smiled gratefully.

"On behalf of my father and Mongolia, please except this bow of gratitude." He was about to kneel down when Yu Lin stopped him.

"As a doctor, its my duty to help all that I can. Don't be so grateful yet, Im not sure if I can save these people." The Prince nodded, understanding.

"I can't stay with you for too long. The King needs me there, the masked person might still be there." Gin Fei whispered to Yu Lin as they walked back to the Palace.

"What masked person?" Fa Fa sneaked up behind them and whispered. It scared Yu Lin when she jumped at the sound of Fa Fa's voice.

"You want to know?" Gin Fei whispered back.

"Yes." He motioned her to come closer.

"None of your business!!" He yelled into her ear. He laughed when she held her ear in pain. "Thats what you get, nosy little girl!"

"You big meanie!" She hit him playfully, "Well, I'll find out what you two are talking about, eventually. Yu Lin Jei will tell me." With that, she linked her arms with Yu Lin and dragged her along. Laughing, Yu Lin couldn't help but follow shaking her head at the two. They are so childish.

A week later at the Palace in China.

The Princess's room was quiet when Siu Lung approached it, he knocked on her door waiting for her to answer. Worried, he barged in and saw her on the ground, unconscious.

He ran over to her side and carefully picked her up on the bed. He lightly tapped her face to wake her up. "Ching Ching, are you okay?"

She slowly opened her eyes. "Lung Gor, what happened?" She looked confused and tired.

"I don't know, I found you on the floor." He checked her pulse and it seem fine, just a little too slow.

"I don't know what happened."

The two looked at each other in confusion. There was no sign of a burglar nor poison in her tea or food. "Hmm, everything looks normal." He looked around one more time "How are you feeling?"

"Better, but it just feels like a long sleep." The color was returning back to her face. She was so pale earlier, he could have sworn she was somehow poisoned. But it looks like there's nothing. She saw his concerned look and smiled "Im fine, Lung Gor. Don't worry. I'll be fine."

"No, I will feel better if you take some medicine. I'll make some right now." He was about to get up when he realized she would be alone in her room with no one to watch her. "How about I take you with me?"

She looked up about to reject when she saw his face. He looked so worried, she nodded. He rushed over to help her up.

"Your majesty, have some tea." Lee Yan entered the room quietly when she saw the King working on requests made by the Generals. He had to look at them before he could sleep.

"No, I have to finish this first." He continued without looking at her.

"But you have to take care of your health." She insisted as she placed the tea down on his desk. He gave her a half smile and drank the tea. She smiled "That wasn't too bad was it?"

"Thank you, but I have to work now." he hinted for her to leave him. She turned, ready to leave. "How was the temple?"

"Oh, it was very peaceful and spiritual." She smiled sweetly. "I thought you didn't notice I was gone.

"Of course I did. I care about all my wives." She nodded and thanked him as she left. Her face changed as she stepped out the door. 'That was an understatement.' she thought 'Well, he'll get what's coming to him.'

"Princess, how do you feel now?" Her face was back to normal now, he felt her forehead and cheeks. "Its warmer. That was strange. Why did you faint, but you seem fine now."

"I don't know, maybe its the weather." She didn't really think anything of it. She figured it was probably a cold. "Anyways, I can always count on you if I get sick again." It was his turn to blush. "Are you sick too? You're face is so red." She touched his cheeks and he jumped knocking over the medicine pot.

"Im sorry, did it burn you?" She giggled as he flustered to hold up the boiling pot.

"No, but you will if you don't stop touching that pot." She pulled him up. "I'll have Siu Kei clean it up. Don't hurt yourself." He saw his moment so he grabbed onto her hand that was holidng his arm.

"I've been meaning to talk to you about something."

She quickly pulled away. "Maybe later, Im getting kind of tired. I'll see you later." She walked out before he had a chance to say anything else. He stood there disappointed, he just wanted to talk to her about the King's banquet. If there should be any dancing. He shrugged at her strange behavior, 'Maybe she wasn't feeling good?'
