Chapter 4

Annie turned off her 13 inch tv as she picked up her purse, it was time to go shopping for food. It was later in the night, perfect time to go because there aren't that many people. She closed her door and rushed down the stairs to the convenience store down the block. It was an hour til closing so there less people in there.

She walked down the aisles and looked at every snack they had. Annie was considered a snack queen, they were cheap and it lasts her for a few weeks. She was more petite then the average girl due to her lack of nutrition. She often wore baggy clothes so most people don't know that she's actually quite thin. Her face always decieved her since she was born with fluffy cheeks. They were often rosey but were hidden behind the thick frames.

She really didn't care about her looks. Her face was free of makeup and her lips only wore strawberry chapstick. She stuffed her basket with snacks and stood in line. There was a guy in front of her that kept staring at her with funny eyes.

She began to get annoyed by the fifth glance, she bursted out angrily "What are you looking at??!" she demanded.

He gave her a sheepish smile "Your nose is bleeding." he said as he grabbed the change from the cashier guy and ran out the store.

Annie put her fingers at the edge of her nose and found fresh blood coming out. She had a terrifying experience with a cut on her finger that kept bleeding when she was five. She fainted at that time. And now she felt her stomache go queesy as her knees locked. Her legs gave way and she toppled over and fell on the ground face first, her forehead hitting the ground hard.

The owner looked scared as he jumped over the counter "Miss, are you okay?" he shook her but she didn't budge, her nose was still bleeding. He pulled out his cordless phone and began to dial the police.

A group of people soon gathered around the store as they watched the stretcher take out the girl. Her purse still wrapped around her shoulders. The police eventually went through it to see her identification. They took her straight to the hospital and the doctors worked fast to recover her. Annie's head was bandaged when she woke up, one of the policeman's were waiting for her to wake up. "Miss Annie, do you have any relatives? I tried to call your home but no one answered."

Annie touched her bruise delicately "No, they're all in Canada. Its okay, Im fine, I can go home right?" her eyes wide.

"Actually, thats not up to me, you can talk to the doctor. I'll call him now." he nodded politely and left the hospital room.

Soon after the doctor came in, he gave her a warm smile "Miss, you are suffering from malnutrition."

She shook her head stubbornly "No, its just that Im afraid of blood, my nose was bleeding so when I saw it, I just fainted." she laughed uncomfortably.

He shook his head "Your nose bled because you've been eating too much junk food and salty snacks, right?" She looked guilty as she nodded. "Well, you need to eat more fruit and vegetables or I'll be seeing alot of you." he warned.

She nodded "I know. I just can't afford it." she muffled.

The doctor looked worried as he looked at her thoughtfully "Here, why don't you go down to Wah Lane and ask for Lam Thai. She owns a little fruit stand. She'll give you a special discount."

She looked up with curiosity "Why?"

He smiled at her "Because she's my mother." he took very good care of his patients. He didn't have the heart to see her get sick because she couldn't afford the food?

She smiled back, showing her full set of braces "Thanks." she began to get off the bed "I can go home now?"

He nodded, "Just sign some papers and your free." she did as she was told and left the hospital. It was bad enough she fainted in a store, but to have all the nurses and doctors staring after her, she felt so embarrassed.

**********

The three pulled up to the bar, they walked cooly inside as they looked around. Tia pointed to an empty table "Let's sit over there."

The guys followed close behind as they sat down together, Johnny's eyes were already wandering as he searched for the gay and the straight. He found a cute guy sitting by himself on the stool at the bar. Johnny smiled as he turned to Jacky "Hey, see that guy over there?"

Jacky nodded "Yeah, he looks straight" his quick perception taking over.

"Nope, he's gay." Johnny said without a doubt "Now, if you can get his phone number, you past the test."

Jacky smiled as he took on the challenge "You're on!" he stood up as he smoothed out his jeans. He gave Tia one last wink before he walked over to the guy.

"Is he really gay?" Tia asked.

"No." Johnny whispered back.

Tia widened her eyes "What?!"

"Shhh... he'll hear us." Johnny warned.

"I don't care, how dare you play him like that!" she said angrily.

His eyes widened "You really mad?"

"Yes, of course Im mad!! I wish I would have thought of that idea sooner!" they burst out laughing together as they watched the joke that was being played on Jacky.

Jacky walked quietly over to the handsome guy (cameo appearance by Daniel Wu) as he sat down next to him on the stool. His eyes glued to the guy as he waved to the bartender. "I'll have a beer and get this lovely gentleman another beer."

The guy turned abruptly to Jacky "Excuse me?" he asked.

Jacky smiled, finally getting the guy's attention. "You heard me, cutie."

"Cutie?" he snickered "No one's ever called me that before."

"Well, shame on them!" Jacky leaned his elbow on the counter as he rested his chin on the palm of his hand "I'll call you whatever you want me to call you." he winked at the guy as the bartender brought over their drinks.

Jacky picked up the glass cup and took a big gulp, his eyes never leaving the cute guy's. When he pulled the cup away from his mouth, his top lip was covered with beer suds. The guy pointed at his own upper lips, hinting that he mouth was dirty. Jacky smiled as he pulled out his tongue that curved around his upper lip seductively. "Thanks." he whispered, trying to make his voice raspy.

The guy seemed a little interested as he tilted his head "You're cute." he said slowly. His face was red from all the alcohol.

"I know." Jacky said as he shyly turned his head away. He took another sip of his beer. Then his gaze eventually turned back to the guy "How about we be friends?" his eyebrows arching with amusement.

The guy smiled as he glanced to the two people at the corner of his eyes "Looks like your friends over there are having a good time."

Jacky didn't look at Tia and Johnny, he had his full attention on the guy's maginificent brown eyes. "What friends?" he leaned in closer to the guy.

"The guy and girl that's laughing over there." Jacky's face fell. He was about to turn to the laughing heyenas but was pulled back by a warm hand on his face. "Are you gay?" the guy asked straightforwardly.

"No." Jacky replied honestly. Looks like his cover was blown.

"Why are you hitting on me then?" the guy asked "Im straight."

"Thats what I thought" Jacky let out a laugh. " I knew I was right."

"What did they want you to do?" the guy was interested.

"Get your number." Jacky said as he smiled back.

The guy pulled out a business card "That's all?" he turned it over to the blank side and scribbled a number on it "How about you get them back?" he handed Jacky the card before he got up. He leaned over and hugged Jacky affectionately, throwing Jacky off guard. He didn't expect that reaction from the guy.

Tia and Johnny exchanged looks, they had long stopped laughing when they saw the guy give Jacky a card. "It can't be." Johnny whispered loudly.

"Maybe he is gay??" Tia aked, unsure of her own perception.

They quiet down as they saw the cute guy wave goodbye to Jacky. He held a glass of beer in his hand as he smiled at the guy and blew him a kiss goodbye. Then Jacky strutted back to the table, laughing at the shocked expressions from Tia and Johnny.

He sighed as he sat down "Easy..." he waved the card in the air as he took a larger gulp of beer.

"But..how?..." Johnny glanced at Tia.

"What do you mean?" Jacky pretended to ask innocently.

"Maybe he's better than we thought?" Tia answered, not realizing that she just said it out loud.

"Huh? You mean that was all a joke?" Jacky covered his mouth dramatically "He was straight?" his eyes wide with over exaggerated shock.

Tia's eyes seemed to leer at him "You knew." she said shortly.

"You did?" Johnny asked. He knew it was true when Jacky started to crack up.

"You should have seen the expressions on your face." he imitated their eyes buldging out of its sockets. He clapped his hands happily as he continued to laugh and point at the two.

"Well, we'll see how much you laugh tomorrow." Johnny said slyly.

Jacky immediately stopped his laughter and turned to him "Why?" he asked, he didn't trust these two anymore, they were too sneaky.

"Hey, if you're gonna be gay, then you have to look it. Tommorrow, we go to the mall and get you some new clothes and a new hair style." Johnny said.

"What's wrong with this one?" he asked in defense.

"Nothing, if you want to attract old men!!" Tia retorted.

His evil eye came back as he shook his head "Nope, no one's touching my hair."

"Oh please! Not like it makes you look any better." Tia rolled her eyes.

"It just so happens that most girls adore this messy do." he said as he ruffled his own hair. "Just like the dogs that likes yours." he reached for her head but she quickly pulled back.

"Don't you touch it with your dirty hands! I just got it dyed the other day!" she exclaimed.

"Since when did you care so much about your looks? The Tia I knew hated dresses, makeup and stylish hairdos. Who are you and what have you done to my tomboy friend?" he asked teasingly.

"She grew up, had a boyfriend and is now living with a gay roomate. Does that explain everything?"

"Okay guys, stop it. Man you two argue more than a married couple." Johnny exclaimed. "I'll take you to a famous hair salon." his voice had a bit of mystery in it.

"Oh yeah?" Jacky asked slowly "What's in there? Gay men?"

Johnny laughed as he nodded his head "Yeah, how did you know? Anyways, I get my hair done there all the time. You have to meet Jamie, he's great."

"Jamie?? Isn't that a girl's name?" Jacky asked.

"So is Jacky, but you don't see anyone calling you a girl." Tia said sarcastically.

"Mine is spelled J-A-C-K-Y not J-A-C-K-I-E." he turned away from her childish faces that she gave to him. "Well its getting late, my 'boyfriend' needs his beauty sleep." he grinned at Johnny "Meet me at my home at around 7. If I know Mindy, she'll come at around 7:30. It'll give us enough time to set up."

"I want to see!!" Tia exclaimed, she didn't want to miss the action.

"No!" Jacky replied "But if you're nice, maybe I'll record it for you." he smiled as he dropped the money on the table for the drinks. They left the bar feeling giddy and kid like. Jacky was happy because he would finally be free from this patrolling life that he lived in for the past three years.

Chapter 5

Johnny came exactly at 7 the next morning. The guys prepared for their little show for Mindy. Jacky told the maids and servants about his situation, he was so use to telling them everything. They were like his brothers and sisters that he never had. His father simply shook his head with dismay, he had an early meeting that morning so he couldn't hang around to see the show.

The maids giggled with delight at the thought of playing a little trick on some girl. Normally, Yuk Jei would disapprove of the horrible idea of lying to someone like that. But after hearing Jacky describe this girl, she felt that he needed to leave her, FAST!

Everyone knew what they were suppose to do, Jacky and Johnny were in the bedroom practicing their 'lines'. They didn't even realize that it was a quarter to eight. Suddenly they heard the doorbell ring, like a cat on its prey, they jumped on the bed and threw the covers over their bodies.

"Should I lean on your or you lean on me?" Johnny asked.

The voices were getting a little louder, but it was still incoherent. "You be the girl." Jacky said as he moved his head up on the pillow while Johnny leaned on his chest. "Wait, take off your shirt!" Jacky said, he wanted it to look real.

"Are you sure you're not gay?" Johnny asked, he covered his laugh when Jacky's face turned beet red. "Shhh...she's coming."

They quickly lied down and closed their eyes, trying to relax their heavy breathing. Jacky could hear Mindy's demanding voice "Let me in! He told me to come."

"But Miss, let me wake him up first. He gets very upset when his sleep is disturbed." Yuk Jei explained with a perfect acting voice.

"No, he knows that Im coming, please get out of my way. I don't want to use force." her voice rising. She tried the door and it gave way easily. "Jacky!" her sweet voice sang like a bird, but when she saw another man in bed with him. Jacky peeked one eye half open and saw her red face. Was that fumes he saw coming from her nostrils? He fought every urge to start laughing. "JACKY!!!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.

Jacky moved his head to the side as his hand reached for his head "Oh gosh, my head..." he grabbed it. Slowly he opened his eyes and saw Mindy hovering over the bed, her eyes glued to the adorable guy laying next to her boyfriend. "Mindy!!" he acted surprised. Looking down at his bare chest, he pulled up a blanket to cover himself "I can explain everything." he said.

"What the hell is going on??!" she cried. Not knowing if she should be humiliated or mad.

"I...I..." he stuttered, suddenly Johnny fluttered his eyes open. He smiled at Jacky sweetly, but when he saw his bulging eyes, he followed the gaze to a flaring Mindy. "Honey, I can explain." Jacky quickly said, his eyes on Johnny.

"Well, go ahead... honey!" she yelled sarcastically.

"I...I meant Johnny." he said weakly while Mindy tried to hide her embarrassment.

Johnny looked from one person to the other "Sweetie, you don't have to explain anything." he wrapped a strong arm around Jacky's waist as he looked up at Mindy. "Is this the girlfriend you told me about?" Jacky nodded.

He looked flustered as his gaze returned to Mindy. "Im sorry, I should have told you sooner." his voice full of fake concern.

"Oh you don't have to tell her anything!" Johnny said as he got up from the bed, releasing his grip on Jacky. He stood face to face with Mindy "Its a new century, everything is possible." he crossed his arms delicately while he examined her figure and face "You're not THAT bad looking, you can always get another man." flicking his head to the side dramatically.

She glared at the tall guy in front of her "He's mine! You stole him from me. I think you should be the one to leave!" her teeth clenching with anger.

"Tsk tsk tsk, poor girl. No one belongs to anyone, although I do belong to Jacky." he smiled sweetly at Jacky and gave him a wink.

"Im sorry Mindy." Jacky said weakly.

"Can't you say anything else??!!!" her voice was so high pitched, he had to strain to make out the words.

Jacky got off the bed and stood next to Johnny "I love him." he said simply.

"You two make me sick!!" she spat out the words before stomping her way out of the room. The guys made sure she was out the door. They heard everyone downstairs clap their hands with delight. The guys jumped up and down, their plan had worked perfectly! High fiving each other as Jacky gave him a hug, laughing so loud that he forgot they were both bare without a shirt.

Suddenly he stopped laughing and pulled away from Johnny abruptly "That did not feel too good." he was talking about their bare chest rubbing against each other.

Johnny put his arms on his hips and tilted his head "That's not what you said last night." he was teasing his new friend. They turned over to the door in time to see Yuk Jei standing there in disbelief. A disgusted look crossed her face while the guys burst out laughing again.

**********

Tia walked up the steps to the run down place. Its been so long since she's visit her friend that she forgot what a horrible place she lived in. Knocking on the door as she looked around with disgust. The wooden door creeked open and appeared a sick looking Annie. "Oh my gosh, you look like a ghost!" Tia exclaimed.

"Thanks, I think I was invisible yesterday." she sniffled and let Tia inside. A blanket wrapped around her shoulders. "Visiting me?"

Tia nodded "I thought I should. Afterall, I have to check for your corspe once a week." she teased.

Annie tried to laugh "If you come tomorrow, maybe you'll find one." her voice was so raspy and her nose was congested. "Who knew a cold would come overnight?"

"What happened to your head?" she nodded to the bandaged forehead on her friend. Annie's hair was ruffled around the white cloth.

"Nose bleed, fainted, bruised head...the usual."

Tia shook her head sadly, her friend was such an accident prone. She was surprised nothing was broken in the process. "Why didn't you call me?"

Annie shrugged her shoulders nochalantly "Im still alive aren't ?."

"But if you're dead, how are you gonna call me." she sighed as she put a hand on her friend's shoulder "Annie, you forget that Im your only friend here? Your parents abandoned you and you got no boyfriend. Sheesh, I feel like a boyfriend sometimes."

"Im very thankful, Tia. But you do have your own life, Im still following my dreams. I can't bother you for every little thing. You've helped me too much already."

The girls met about three years ago, when Annie was at rock bottom. She was broke with a low paying job, she was kicked out of her apartment because she couldn't afford it. Tia met her at the restaurant where Annie worked and caught her bossed yelling at her. Tia felt sorry for the girl so she wanted to help.

She stood outside the restaurant that day and waited til Annie was off work, she offered to find her a job. Annie had a habit of doing everything on her own. She wasn't use to anyone helping her, but she had no choice so she agreed to let Tia help her. She found her a place to live and got her a mail clerk job at one of the big companies that her company worked with.

Tia was a fashion consultant, her sudden love for the field opened her eyes. She began to dress more stylish, got a shoulder length cut to match her look and began to use a little more make up. She offered to help Annie with her appearance, but she refused her offer over and over.

"How did that interview go?" Tia asked. Annie told her about an interview that she was going on. From the way that Annie described it, she knew it was important to her.

"Pretty good, I won't hear from them for at least another week." she said as she reached for a kleenex.

"Where is it at?" Tia was curious to know since Annie never told her what company it was.

Annie smiled "I prefer not to say since Im not even sure if I can get that job. I don't want to embarrass myself."

Tia nodded understandingly "Well, come on, I'll take you to breakfast."

"So I can cough all over your food and get you sick?" she joked as she covered a cough with her tissue "I think I'll stay here."

"Well, let me get you something to eat." Tia offered.

Annie looked at her friend adoringly, her eyes watering from the cold "Why aren't you a guy?" she asked through her stuffy nose.

"Because Im too cute." she winked at her friend and got up "Rice porridge sounds good?"

"Hmm mm, thanks." Annie said with genuine gratefulness.

She left the apartment and came back about 15 minutes with a big container of hot rice porridge and a few grocery bags of fresh food. "Early Christmas gift." she smiled when Annie gave her the evil look. They had plenty of conversations about Tia helping her out. Tia wasn't about to watch her friend detteriorate from lack of food.

"I've gotten 10 'gifts' from you this year already and its barely April!!" she said sarcastically. "yeah, I count. I swear Tia, one day I'll pay you back for all this."

"Thats fine, just don't die. Because if you do, who's gonna pay me back?" she glanced at her watch while she put away the groceries "I've got an appointment with some friends. So I'll swing by tomorrow."

"Sure. Thanks again." Annie said.

"Hey, remind me to introduce you to them. I think you'll like them." she smiled.

"Are they guys?"

"Uh...sort of." Tia answered, unsure of how she could describe Johnny.

"You mean half a guy?" Annie asked while Tia nodded slowly "That's okay then, just as long as he isn't a straight guy. You know I have a hard time talking to guys."

"You know, Annie, they're not as scary as you make them sound." Tia never understood why her friend was so unwilling to meet guys. She's only taken her to a club once since they met and Annie stuck to her side like glue the whole night. Needless to say, she never took Annie to another club.

"True, no one's as scary as me." she smiled awkwardly, showing her metal braces. She looked dorky with the smile and it made Tia laugh.

She shook her head "Oh stop! I'll see you later!" she waved goodbye before she disappeared out the door.

Annie looked around as she returned to her rice porridge. The peace and quiet were her friends again.

Chapter 6

The two guys talked like old friends on the ride to the mall. Johnny was talking nonstop about his friend named James but he goes by Jamie. Jacky felt a little odd about a guy cutting his hair, his usual hair stylist was a girl named Erin. She knew his style and always tended his hair to perfection. But then again, she lived in London.

Tia met them at the mall, she stood from far away and saw the way the guys talked and laughed. They got along so well, she felt giddy inside. It wasn't a mistake to introduce Johnny to Jacky. When they saw her coming, Jacky put his hands on his hips with an exaggerated expression "Sheesh, aren't we a little late?" he pointed at his rolex watch.

She smiled "Fashionably late. Well, lets go and meet this goddess of yours."

"You've never met him?" Jacky looked surprise.

"She told me it was bad luck to have a gay guy touch her hair. That's why she scratched me there." he pointed to his abs.

Jacky laughed "Since when are you so supersticious?" he didn't know that about his friend.

"Oh shush! Its nothing to laugh about. Come on, I want to see his hair blue! Or purple!" she cried out with excitement.

"I prefer a bright orange!" Johnny teased. The two laughed as they linked arms and walked towards the hair salon, leaving the flabergasted Jacky behind. He quickly came into step with the two. When they reached the salon, he noticed that it looked more elegant than he imagined.

He glanced around and realized all the hair stylist there were guys. But one guy stood out in particular, his hair was waved to the side in the most perfect swoop. His features were man-like but his gestures were totally feminine.

Johnny smiled as he waved to the guy that Jacky was looking at "Jamie (cameo by Leon Lai)!"

"JOHNNY!!" his exaggerated expression made Jacky's skin crawl. He couldn't imagine what guys saw in them? The guys greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. Tia and Jacky exchanged glances, she had a grin that was so big while Jacky looked almost scared. "Didn't I tell you no girl's allowed in here? They take up all my light." he snickered at Tia, who just laughed.

"Oh gosh, she's no girl. Its just Tia. Oh and this.." Johnny pushed Tia to the side making her fumble on her feet. He pulled at Jacky's arm for him to come closer "this adorable guy is Jacky."

Jamie's face seemed to blush over as he took Jacky's hand and shook it softly "Ohhh, he's cute!" he gushed to Johnny. "What can I do for you today, sweetie?" his voice was surupy and it continued to give Jacky goosebumps.

Jacky looked at Johnny for help "He's got an undercover project to do. His disguise is one of us." his wink told Jamie that it was serious. "Can you help him with a 'look'?"

"Honey, when I get done with you, you'll wish you were gay!" he snapped his finger and his head shook from side to side. "Come on sit down." he pointed to an empty chair nearby. Running his manicured fingers through Jacky's hair as he swooned "OH! You've got beautiful, soft hair!"

Jacky looked at Tia through the reflection of the mirror "See? I told you." he snorted.

She smiled "I'd say that too if I wanted to dye your hair green!"

"No green!!" Jacky exclaimed.

Jamie didn't seem to mind their bickering, he placed a hand softly over his chin as he looked thoughtful "No, no, green is so skater straight boys look, so outdated...you want to be gay, we have to go blond." Jacky's eyes widened with fear, he was ready to get off his seat when Jamie pushed his shoulders back into the seat. "Don't go chicken on me now." he scolded "We won't dye the whole head because you'll just look like a gangster boy. Streaks would be good." he nodded his head in agreement with himself. He clapped his hands twice at one of the other guys "Lewy! Mix me some blond highlights!"

The guy nodded with a wide smile on his face as he went to get the dye. He came back a little later with a container and a brush with a light blue color dye. It was the first time Jacky's ever seen the highlight dye. He was a nervous wreck, he never had his hair dyed before. And the two giggling monkeys in the back didn't help him at all.

Jamie threw the black wrap around Jacky's stripped shirt to keep the dye from dripping on his clothes. "Now, this won't hurt a bit okay?" he said sweetly as he placed a plastic cover over Jacky's hair. It was a special plastic covering with holes. Using the sharp end of the comb, he pulled out strands of hair from the holes. After that was done, Jamie began to brush the blue gue onto Jacky's hair. "You a virgin?" he asked nochalantly while he did Jacky's hair.

"What??!!" Jacky asked in disbelief. "I don't think its any of your business." He didn't expect this guy to be so forward. He knew hairstylists tend to get personal with conversations but not that personal!

"You don't have to get all nasty about it." Jamie said sarcastically "I was just talking about your hair. Is this time your first?"

Jacky's face turned a crimson red "Oh, yeah. Sorry." he mumbled. His reaction made Tia laugh harder while Johnny tried to suppress his laughter. They continued to whisper to each other while Jacky gave them dirty looks from the mirror reflection.

After the dying was done, Jamie washed Jacky's hair himself. He's the owner of the shop and he usually never washes the customer's hair besides Johnny, Jacky would be the second. Jamie took his time as he blew dry Jacky's thick hair and snipped the sides and top to make them sharper with a cool effect. The streaks stood out from his dark brown hair. The final touch came when Jamie put some guey gel all over Jacky's hair. He used the comb and brushed it neatly up, the hair spiked in all directions after he was done. He stood back and smiled at his masterpiece "Beautiful!" he exclaimed and covered his mouth with his fingers.

The other two had grown tired of laughing at Jacky so they sat at one corner and read magazines. When they heard Jamie's comment they both dropped the magazines and ran over to see the damage.

Tia covered her mouth "Oh my gosh!" she said, it was hard to detect whether she was complimenting or insulting his new hair.

Johnny smiled "Wow." was all he said.

Jacky stood up and moved in closer to the mirror for a better look. He bounced his head up and down, he liked the streaks. Turning back to Tia and Johnny "What do you think?"

"Put on some kneew high boots and a leather mini dress, you can start working the streets!" Tia said before she burst out laughing.

"Well, I think he looks adorable!!" Jamie said with a hurt tone in his voice "I told you not to bring girls in here!" he hit Johnny on the arm before running to the back room dramatically, his arms waving side to side.

Tia covered her mouth to stop her laughing "Did I hurt his feelings?"

"He'll get over it." Johnny assured her.

"Well, I happen to like it." Jacky said as he nodded his head firmly. Johnny also agreed.

"Oh my gosh, you're turning gay before my very eyes." her eyes bulging out.

"I'll turn you red and purple if you don't stop those comments!" he pulled up his sleeves and balled up his fists threateningly. Tia quickly hid behind Johnny "Get out of the way, the woman has to be stopped."

He laughed as he held up his hands "Im sure she was just teasing. Come on, lets get something to eat. We've been here for over three hours." he pushed Jacky towards Jamie to pay the bill.

"It takes that long for him to look 'pretty'" Tia mumbled under her breath.

"I heard that!!!" Jacky yelled as he got closer to where Jamie was.

That night they went to eat together. Jacky wasn't use to all the attention that he got from people that just stared at him. Johnny warned him that it would happen alot more often with his new identity.

When Jacky got home that night, he met up with his father and Jim, the assistant that will know of Jacky's true identity. His father thought of everything, he didn't want anyone to suspect anything. So he rented an apartment across the way from Hung Corp so Jacky could live there. Reporters would eventually uncover the mystery person if Jacky were to enter and leave the mansion. The new position was available for him to start anytime. Jacky decided to do it as soon as possible.

He started the next day at work. As he thought, he got the stares and looks from all the people in the office. He knew the plan would work like a charm because after Jim introduced him to the staff, everyone returned to their own places and ignored him.

It was the perfect time to study the people because none of them payed attention to the 'gay' guy. He even hid a thick notepad in his desk, it was what he used to write down about people. The page for Miss Lai was already filling up fast. She was rude, demanding, mean and very bossy. Sounded like Mindy, he snickered to himself. Just one day and a whole three pages were filled up under her name. She was about fourty but never married, he understood why. She preferred to be called Miss Lai since she still single. He knew it would be a long three months after the first day was over.
