IN MEMORY OF TASHA

This page is created and dedicated to my daughter who lost her life in a terrible traffic accident at the age of fourteen.

Memories, so many memories, both good and bad is all we have left of Tasha along with the photos. Her life was so short but the time we had together I will always cherish. I was told she was " A Gift from God", and he needed her back with him. She was such a special person with a big heart and a great big smile. Tasha was a little shy at times and that is something she inherited from me. We will always remember how pretty she was. She thought she was all grown up and in alot of ways she was but yet she was so innocent.

I was almost eighteen when she was born and that was one of the happiest days of my life. I had someone I could love and would love me in return. She was a part of me and no one could take that away from me.

When Tasha was two her sister Tanya was born. One day right after we came home from the hospital Tasha came walking down the hall with Tanya by the neck holding her saying "Holding baby Mommie, My baby". Boy, was" I scared"! I thought she was going to drop her but they both were just fine.Tasha was always thinking she had to look after her sister and protect her. I called her "Little Mother Hen".

One day a man name Rick came into our lives. Tasha and Tanya both loved him. He treated them as his own. He was so good to the girls and loved them both so much. Tasha and Rick had a bond that will never be broken.

In 1995. around Christmas time Tasha decided she wanted to move to Iowa, to live with her biological father. Although we were miles apart we still spent alot of time together. After a short time she decided that maybe she had made a mistake by moving there and wanted to come home. At the time her father would not let her.

In 1997, we spent Thanksgiving together and had the best time. This was to be the last time we would see Tasha alive. Tanya was going to spend Christmas with her sister in Iowa and we were to meet Tasha and her father half way in Mexico, Missouri.

Tasha's last words to me were"Mom I will lay down in the back seat and when I wake up I will be able to see you and Mom "I LOVE YOU"!
Tasha never made it to us. A terrible traffic accident claimed the life of my little girl.

Tasha will be with us forever!

  WE LOVE YOU, TASHA !!!
