We are very proud to announce that on March 23, 2001, the band, Ampathy was born! Band member is Crystal "Diamondstarr" Austin. The new band is hard at work forming their new sound and working on a single and other songs for their first album. Other possible projects could include some accapela work and a Christmas album. We shall see. They have already received at least one offer for a tour when they are ready, probably next summer.

Ampathy is very fan-oriented, so we hope to have some of their rehearsals and practice sessions posted for the fans enjoyment. We will also be developing a fan club for the band in addition to the fan clubs for each individual member. So stay tuned fans, lots of freebies and cool stuff is headed your way!

June 2001 UPDATE!
Diamondstarr has now written the words for the new album. She is working on putting the music to them. Most likely the new record will be released as a "roughcut". We are hoping to promote in as fan-friendly way as possible. So stay tuned for details!

JULY 2001 UPDATE!
It's here! Diamondstarr has completed the first draft for the new cd! The lyrics are raw<><><>just as she wrote them! You will notice that the pages don't have music. We will add the midis later. Midis will be made available as soon as they are ready. There are 16 new songs! We don't at this point know which ones will be on the new cd, so stay tuned!

FALL 2001 Update Hello Fans! I had been working another job for awhile and was unable to post. I am back home now and as you can see, the site has been completely overhauled. The CD link above will now take you to a complete listing of all the new songs Diamondstarr has written for the new album, "Asprinations". We have a friend who is going to clean up the recording of the first song, "Almost 18". When it is returned to us, we will be able to upload to the web! As soon as all the tunes for the song lyrics are written, Diamondstarr will create the midis for the pages. We are also going to create a sampler for the fans to try out Ampathy new tunes, <><>COOL!<><>

Megan & Diamondstarr have been practicing very hard to perfect their performance. We had had a scheduled debut at a marathon here, but it was delayed because of events surrounding 9-11. Will let you know if we can get them a date to play. Please remember to join the mail list and fan clubs. This is how announcements will be sent to all members.
