His Story...
As the only son of Maximus and Wyld Infernos, Blazum grew up on the world of Vulcain. Maximus had been a well-respected general turned diplomat who forged the alliance between Plaeidia and Asgard. After years of service he decided to raise a family on the peaceful world Vulcain where he had grown up. Tragically, the peace between Plaeidia and Asgard that he had worked so hard for would not last. When Blazum was 11, Asgard broke the alliance treaty and brutally seized control of Vulcain. Palaiedia was helpless to stop the invading force and Vulcain was sacked. The fiery Conflagration War had begun. Blazum witnessed his parents being slaughtered by Asgardian troops before escaping the massacre. He survived for 8 months in the wild evading Asgardian trackers before being captured and taken to the slave mines of Solarus. After several attempts of escape and innumerous beatings he finally escaped by murdering 4 guards and stealing a 40 ton miner vehicle. It was his 16th birthday. He returned to Vulcain and quickly rose in the ranks of the resistance until his best friend who had become an informer for Asgard betrayed him. When Blazum was captured, he had already killed his betrayer with his bare hands and it took the combined efforts of 7 men to control the raging Infernos. Three of his captors died of injuries from the struggle. He was taken to the maximum-security prison camp on Asgard known as the Abyss. By this time Blazum’s reputation was already being whispered among the Vulcainians. The high command decided they did not want to make Infernos a martyr and halted his execution at the last minute. He spent the next 5 years planning and gathering his forces within the prison population. He learned that Orion, King of Plaeidia was getting ready for a massive assault and began his revolt within the Abyss. The walls of the Abyss fell and the army of Infernos stormed the capital of Asgard. Orion’s forces began to assault the perimeter defenses of Asgard while Infernos centered his troops for the Final Battle on the Royal Fortress of Asgard. At daybreak, after 7 days of bombarding the Fortress, Orion sent word that his battle with the perimeter had reached a stalemate. Infernos would have to attack the Fortress without reinforcements to break the stalemate. Infernos whipped the troops into a fevered frenzy and attacked the Fortress. Casualties were staggering during the 3 days of assault. Infernos, the only survivor inside the Fortress walls, with no more troops, no more strength and a broken weapon, had killed his last attacker when Orion’s troops stormed the Fortress and ended the war. Orion himself appointed Blazum Infernos as Lord of Vulcain in a field hospital. After a year of healing and recuperation, Orion called upon Lord Infernos to accept the FireStar, the highest award on Plaiedia for Military Conquest. It did not escape Orion’s attention, during this auspicious ceremony, that Blazum was completely distracted by his beautiful daughter Taesandra…

Once Upon A Time..... BATTLE FOR PLAEIDIA
The painting depicts the legendary battle long ago between Blazum Infernos and the Sorcerer Gorgus who is shown in the background before he becomes the Beast. The Sorcerer had entered the plane of the Fire Beings along with his mistress the Sorceress Volaria with the intent to usurp and overthrow the Royalty of Plaeidia. King Blazum Infernos and Queen Taesandra Infernos were not amused. After many of their insidious plots were thwarted, Gorus and Volaria tried to kidnap the youngest of the Royal children in an all out frontal assault on the Palace. Blazum and Taesandra were enraged. Blazums army outmaneuvered and routed Gorgus forces. Volaria was able to make her way into the nursery only to find the Queen Taesandra herself defending her child.. There are many stories that the King and Queen of Plaeidia lead the army to the fortress of Gorgus with the charred body of Volaria impaled on a lance. The Queen stayed outside the fortress with her kill as Blazum went in to settle his account with the being that dared to oppose him and threaten his family. Gorgus shape shifted into a huge and vicious beast and attacked Blazum. Blazum ordered his army from the fortress and battled Gorgus himself. Outside, the army stood in formation behind the Queen as she sat upon her Fryesteed. Many were forced to close their eyes from the fury of King Blazum Infernos as he incinerated the fortress from the inside out. It was said that the Queen smiled at the searing light. From the smoldering remains of the fortress, Blazum dragged the body, many say it was still burning, of Gorgus and tossed it in front of his beautiful Queen. Queen Taesandra then dumped Volaria’s body next to it. She then opened a portal to finally rid their land of the pestilence. The children of Taesandra and Blazum had ordered separate portraits of their parents battles to honor them and to show the fierceness of their parents battles to their grandchildren. The portrait of Taesandras battle has been lost for over two hundred years. Rumors abound of its true location. It is said that a secret women’s group, The Daughters of Queen Taesandra, keep it in a place of honor as a source of their strength.
