At Soul Sister Creation & Design we realize the difficulty many fellow artisans have in making it to the vast array of festivals that pop up annually. With this in mind, we’ve decided to start selling other artisans crafts on consignment. While we cannot cover every festival out there, we do go to quite a few.

The Lowdown

The charge for selling an item on consignment will be 25%. This cost can either be deducted from your suggested retail price or added on to that same price. For example, a skirt that would normally bring in $40 would bring the artist $30 if sold with the deduction of the 25% agreed upon. On the other hand, the $40 skirt (in order to net $40) would have to be sold for $50 if you are firm on your prices. The decision really rests on the creator of the item. We are not trying to short-change anyone! Remember however that many customers balk at higher prices and raising the cost might hinder a sale. It is your time and art, which is why that decision is solely at your discretion.

Why 25%?

If 25% seems excessive, please bare in mind that the time and space utilized in displaying your creations is our own. In addition, we assume the risk, liability, vending fees, and travel expenses.

Getting Started

If the aforementioned details seem agreeable then simply drop us a line regarding your products. Please provide information about your product, include photos if possible, and let us know what you typically sell it for. The final decision about the consignment fee can be agreed upon before the product is shipped to us.
