We‘ve all come a long way...
From blanket vending on California beaches and setting up a small blanket on Grateful Dead tour in the mid 80’s wrapping hairwraps in customers hair to setting up 10x30 vending booths with Sunshine's newest creations as well as beautiful high quality hand crafted merchandise from Africa, Peru and Thailand
In 2009 we had to make a big change from merchandise vending to FOOD CONCESSIONS yet Sunshine is still creating handmade patchy threads for children and adults!
Our children are busy making FESTIVAL HULA HOOPS for the upcoming 2010 DEAD & PHISH tours!!!
I feel good times coming! It's a time for HOPE, it's a time for CHANGE!
You won't find us selling our merchandise on shakedown in 2009... but... HEY NOW... you WILL see us selling headie FOOD out of our food booth GRATEFUL GRUB CONCESSIONS

Our hula's recently turned out to be the newest exercise craze and a great item inspiring young and old to grab a hula and test them out. We also sell to local Arizona and California gyms... even the San Diego Zoo ordered a bunch of hulas for special programs at the zoo!

We easily set-up 10x30 booths, which is three canopies until somebody broke into our truck and stole most of our stock at a JamBar called Goathead in Mesa Arizona.

It Was Close To Midnight When An EMERGENCY MESSAGE Was Announced On Stage
"GET IN YOUR CAR, AS WE ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO" then they ran around shakedown (vending row) yelling "STAKE DOWN YOUR CANOPY & GET IN YOUR CAR"
Wait... Now Hang On Now... Did I Hear TORNADO?
My Friends Just Looked At Me & Laughed, Knowing The "Sunshine Freak Out" Was About To Begin
Arizona Sunshine Doesn't Do The Tornado Thing Very Well In The Midwest!
It usally takes us 5-7 hours to break down our booths, pack it up and roll out. We were so freaked out that we broke down in an hour.

Here's the story behind THIS crazy weekend...
The Promoter Cancelled This Festival THE SECOND DAY OF THE EVENT & Skipped Out On Everybody With ALL The Money. Didn't Pay But A Few Bands. Vendors paid this guy $1200.oo to set-up booths. The 400 people that showed up paid $75.00 a person. This guy ripped off EVERYBODY! After a very short time, the people of the small Nashville Indiana town were on the phones calling in the troops.
The event was home of some of the greatest Bluegrass players. Bands and Artists started pulling in one by one. It was like a scene from a movie. Some hanging out of pick-up trucks waving thier banjos and other instruments. Good old Nashville, Indiana.
The show must go on... and it did

Hookahville Festivals In Ohio were THE BEST TIMES In The Midwest!!

It's Expensive To Vend & Hard to Profit If You Have So Much Overhead and unfortunately some festival promoters let greed take over and charge us thousands of dollars just to set up in a weekend.
