  Jesus and Jake
"Jesus, do you know what special day this is for me?"
"Yes my son" He answered, "It's etched in my memory."
"Come sit beside me as you have so many times before."
"Ok Jesus," Jake answered, "today you know I'm turning four!"
"Yes Jake I know that and I'm as pleased as I can be!"
"But I sense you have some questions you'd like to ask of me."
"Yes I do," Jake answered, "why can't I be with Mom and Dad?"
"I know that lately they have been feeling really sad."
"I want to spend some time with the two of them today."
"Cause then I'll be able to chase their sadness away."
"We could have a party and then I could come back."
"And if you don't mind Jesus, I'd like to take along Zac."
Jesus smiled and replied "Jake I'm sorry you can't be there."
"But there's no reason this day with them you cannot share."
"For in their dear hearts is where you'll always be."
"And I promise you Jake, their faces one day again you'll see!"
"Zac and all your angel friends are waiting here for you."
"And I have a real nice day planned with lots of things to do."
Jake smiled and hugged Jesus and one small teardrop fell.
Whether it came from Jake or Jesus, you really couldn't tell!
Jesus took Jake's hand and led him down a path.
"Look Jesus! There's Zac! Listen to him laugh!"
A smile lit Jake's face as wide as it could be.
"Oh Jesus, you have a party just for me!!!"
"Yes Jake!" Jesus answered, "and there'll be many more."
"But today let's celebrate as you sweetly turn four."
"Thank you Jesus, you've made my stay here very happy!"
"And thank you Jesus for Zac, my Mommy and my Daddy!"
Jesus smiled and Jake hugged him oh so near.
"You're right Jesus, I can feel Mommy and Daddy here!"
And so to Twila and Paul, Jesus has this to say.
"I will make sure Jake has a
