Gibbous Moon

This picture of an 8½ day moon on June 29. The picture was a digital hand held shot using eyepiece projection. I used a 16mm eyepiece in the 6" f/6 newtonian reflector. An Olympus D-450 camera was used to capture the moon. At the time, the crater Hesiodus was displaying its famous ray across the crater floor. Also the Straight Wall can be seen. The time was 11:30 PM EDT.
