Shadow of an Angel

As the Angel appeared
to guide my way
with thoughts of love
she passed that day

And as she spoke
I saw her face
up in the sky
over looking the bay

Her wings spread far
right down to earth
to catch me close
for this re-birth

A lesson was taught
I heard her say
for everyone
in every way

And then she said
that she must go
Please have no fear
we love you so

And if one day
Our Lord should come
then that's the time
your work's been done

And as you know
you have been spared
by the love of God
he really cares

So in this life
have no fear
our love of God
is always near
