Sweet memories, so long ago
My darling sister was conceived
A bundle of Joy
Made Healthy and strong

Many years we shared a room
We cried and laughed, and even fought
But grew in love
as each day bloomed.

My sister, my best friend.
Almost seems like yesterday
We tackled life's problems
Each new day praying again.

Seems like just yesterday
We had so much we had to say
Sharing private childhood folly
That permeated each new day.

Sweet Memories, so long ago
No sweeter sister, could God have sent
A masterpiece --- You were!
A sister so delicate,
Your smile always glowed.

You're in my heart
Where you'll always stay
Tucked away, safe and sound
Sister, dear, we'll never part.
