Advice on Friends

Most Important Qualities in a Friend

2 Corinthians 6:14-"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.

For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?

Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

Ash says, "I think the most important thing in a friend is that they love God.

Then they won't pressure you into doing things you know is wrong,

and you have someone to talk to about God and the Bible."

"Yes, I agree, " says Jen, "I also like it when a good friend respects me and my family.

And it is always good when a friend always acts the same towards you whether you are at church or school or the mall or whatever."

"Because then you know that they aren't just nice around teachers, pastors, family, etc," Ash adds.

"Yeah and you can trust them because you know they are honest and true," Jen says.

Ash explains, "YOU also affect your relation ship with your friend."

"Yes, you are so right," interrupts Jen.

Ash continues, "Even though you may not know it, your aditude, your respect for yourself, and your behavior all have an impact on your friendship. "
