Joey McIntyre decided to return to his first love, acting. In 1995, he landed a CO-staring role in the film version of the longest running musical in history,"The Fantasticks". The film wasn't released to theaters until September of 2000. It was released to video & DVD on February 27, 2001!

The ex-teen idol..was running out of ideas, so he found inspiration from the bottle. For almost two years he found comfort from acahol until, his mother stepped in.

Soon, Joey realized that his true comfort was music. Suddenly, he decided to establish a solo career. He decided to set up meetings with major record labels but, they would have rather said,"Thanks for coming, thanks for leaving!" Discouraged, he decided to do it all himself. In February of 1998 he wrote & recorded an album, on his own!
