Meeting was opened in long form by WM Carol & WP Don.

We were pleased to have Kay Johnson with us at our meeting who acted as our Associate Matron. Al Butterfield (Grand Treasurer) was our Associate Patron for the evening. Barbara & Richard Moore were absent as Barbara has just had surgery.

We draped the charter for Sister Jessie Frichette; we shared the honor with Brother Dick Johnson, who, although he wasn't a member of our chapter, was dear to the hearts of many of our members.

It was announced that the Boutique & Tea which had been scheduled for May 18th was indefinitely postponed.

Under responses Deputy Instructor Sande Tyner introduced the 2002-2003 Deputy Instructors who were present that evening (Lois Callow, Kathy Neubecker and Lorraine Sanford) and announced the appointment of Tess Kent as a Deputy Instructor for 2002-2003.

All ladies present were honored for Mother's Day and given a small gift from the Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron.

After closing the meeting, all retired to the dining room for stew and french bread cooked by Gary & Dixie Wild.
