"NICK! You here?"Jessica called as she stepped into the house, dropping her dance bag on the floor. A small pack of pugs crowded around her feet. She bent down and petted them affectionately.

"Understand?"Nick repeated, confused, putting the shirt down. He totally lost interest with the folding of his clothes when Jessica brought up a definitely more interesting topic.

"Elaborate."

Jessica gave a contented giggle, laying down the the comfy bed with her arms stretched over her head. She met his attentive eyes and smiled reassuringly. The tone of her voice was full of love and tenderness,"Understand that I love you and will love you for the rest of my life."

Nick grinned widely at her words. He sat down next to her, taking her hand in his. She squeezed his hand gently,"I mean it Nick. I love you and want to be with you. I'm ready to give you the whole package."

Nick smiled,"So am I."

Jessica grinned happily and put her hand on his neck as he leaded down.

"Kiss me Nicky,"Jessica whispered. Nick very slowly leaned his head down and caressed her lips with his. She melted into his kiss, just like she always did. He'd been waiting for this moment for months. The moment where he'd get to kiss her again, knowing that she was his and he was hers. Jessica smiled against his lips as her eyes filled with tears of joy for the first time in what seemed like forever. Nick broke the kiss and looked at her lovely face, smiling softly.
