I was born 50 years ago today, in my beloved Cleveland. After dropping out of college, I joined the Marine Corps, then came odd jobs before I took a chance and won an open-mic contest. My success grew, including my own self-titled show which ran for nine seasons. Now I am hosting a show loved by millions, replacing a television icon. Who am I?
Drew Carey. He has also appeared in specials and hosted the improv shows "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and "Drew Carey's Green Screen".
