What famous non-Disney actor provided the voice and sound effects behind the character of Gideon in Pinocchio, only to have almost all of his work cut from the final film?
Mel Blanc. All that was used in the finished film was a hiccup effect, used three times in the movie. Other than some radio work, the only other Disney work Blanc is known to have done is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" in 1988.
