Trivia for 4/20
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 4/17:
Being one of the survivors of the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912 was amazing enough. But what else added to the remarkable life of British nurse and stewardess Violet Jessop?
She survived collisions and/or sinkings of all three Olympic-class British ships. She had been on board the RMS Olympic in 1911 when it collided with the HMS Hawke, seriously damaging both ships. And even more incredible is that after the sinking of the Titanic, she was a nurse aboard the HMHS Britannic when it apparently hit a mine and sank in the Aegean Sea. She survived this, as well. She eventually passed away in 1971, at age 84.
45 players answered correctly.
