Trivia for 5/15
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 5/14:
What island, located in the Bahamas and formerly called Gorda Cay, was renamed when purchased in full by an American company, to be used as a tourist attraction?
Hint: I will accept either the island or the company that bought it.
Castaway Cay. It is a 1,000 acre island, of which only 55 acres have been developed. It is used as a port for Disney Cruise Lines and has a "castaway theme" with submarine-ride vehicles from old attractions underwater for snorkelers to view, and The Flying Dutchman from "The Pirates of the Caribbean" films on display in the lagoon.
