Answer for 5/28:

Which famous tourist site consists of buildings called The White Tower, the Bloody Tower and the Jewel House and was originally a fortress, and then a prison and a site for executions?

The Tower of London, or just "The Tower", its full name is Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress. Situated on the River Thames, prisoners would travel to the tower via boat, going under the London Bridge. They would be unnerved by the sight of the heads of previously executed prisoners.
