Trivia for 6/1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 5/29:
On December 1, 1990, what did Europeans Graham Fagg and Philippe Cozette do that elicited photographs and articles which soon spread around the world?
They were the two workers, chosen at random, from the English and the French sides of the construction crews working on the "Eurotunnel", which is known now as the Chunnel. On that date, the final was was drilled through, and the French Cozette poked his head through to the English side, and right after, the English Fagg repeated the actions on the French side. The UK and France were linked again for the first time in 8,000 years. The men shook hands and posed for photographers upon stepping through the hole.
44 players answered correctly.
