Trivia for 10/7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 10/6:
The big, furry, red monster who chases Bugs Bunny first appears in Chuck Jones' 1946 film Hair-Raising Hare as the mad scientist's henchman. He was called "Rudolph" when he appeared next in the 1952 short Water, Water Every Hare. But his real name was finally given in the 1980 Jones' toon, Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24 1/2th Century.
What is the big monster's name?
Gossamer, which he is called by Marvin the Martian. Jones chose this name "because he's the opposite looking of gossamer. He's a big, hairy thing."
