Trivia for 6/15
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 6/12:
This TV show used an instrumental waltz for their first season theme song. Carole King wrote a new theme, but it was rejected by the show's creator. A new theme was written for the second season, but the lyrics were never used. Here are the lyrics (with the main character's name crossed out), can you tell me which show this was?
XXXXXXX, fresh as a daisy. Just love how she obeys me, Does things that just amaze me so. She smiles, Presto the rain goes. She blinks, up come the rainbows. Cars stop, even the train goes slow. When she goes by, she paints sunshine on every rafter, sprinkles the air with laughter, we're close as a quarter after three. There's no one like XXXXXXX. I'll introduce her to you, but it's no use sir, cause my XXXXXXX's in love with me.
I Dream of Jeannie.
Trivia for 6/8
Answer for 6/5:
Theme Week!
In the early 90s, a new "Land of the Lost" series aired for two seasons on Saturday mornings. But this was a new family trapped in the Land. What was this family's name?
Porter, specifically Tom Porter and his kids, Kevin and Annie. In the Land, they met a Pakuni the called Stink and a human woman called Christa, who had grown up alone there. The original plot of the series was to have the grown woman be the adult version of Holly from the original series, with the Pakuni being Cha-Ka. But this was scrapped, and the character names re-written.
Trivia for 6/5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Answer for 6/4:

Theme Week!

At the beginning of the third (and final) season of "Land of the Lost", Rick Marshall was pulled through a time doorway, probably back to his own time. Will and Holly were left stranded in the Land, until they found another man, laying unconcious in a raft. Who was this new "father figure" for the kids?

He turned out to be their own Uncle Jack Marshall, who had been following their course back home, to try and find out what had happened to the family. An earthquake pulled him in, and he was now trapped, as well. Spencer Milligan (Rick) had left the show, supposedly over salary issues. Actor Ron Harper was hired to play Uncle Jack.

Trivia for 6/4
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 6/3:
Theme Week!
Native to the "Land of the Lost" were the Sleestaks, descendents of a race of reptile humanoids called the Altrusians. One intelligant Altrusian was also trapped in the Land, but his skin was tan where the Sleestaks were green, and he wore a red tunic with a medallion. What was this unique creature's name?
Enik was the "intelligent Sleestak", who at first thought he was back in time, due to the primative way the Sleestak acted. But, upon seeing the ruined and deserted remnants of his own city, he realized he was in the far-future and that his race, the Altrusians, had fallen and lost much of the knowledge and power they had once had. His mission was to get back to his own time, to warn his people of their fate.
