Trivia for 1/30
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer for 1/29:
Born on this day in 1880 as William Claude Dukenfield, I first worked in vaudeville and as a juggler, calling myself "The Eccentric Tramp Juggler". One of my popular tricks was to juggle and balance a top hat, a cigar and a broom on my foot and then kick them into the air with the hat landing on my head, the cigar into my mouth and the broom in my back pocket. I found my greatest fame, however, as a comedic actor in movies of the 1920s and 30s before I died in 1946. Who was I?
W.C. Fields. He was the original choice for the role of the Wizard in 1939's "The Wizard of Oz".
51 people answered correctly.
