RESIDENT EVIL
RESIDENT EVIL
June 23, 1998:
BANG!!! Chris Redfield, a member of the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue
Squad) Team of R.P.D. (Raccoon City Police Department), was practising shooting his
Handgun at targets. “100 points, wow!” exclaimed his best friend, also on S.T.A.R.S.,
Brad Vickers. Brad, got a score of 96. Once they were finished, Chris and Brad went out
for lunch. “Did you hear the latest?” Brad asked Chris. “No, what?” asked Chris.
“Umbrella Co. are doing more weird experiments,” replied Brad. “It only means one
thing,” said Chris. “What?” asked Brad. “Another job for us,” replied Chris. “Well,” said
Brad. “We’re ready for anything.” “I wish that were true.......,” said Chris. “I still can’t
believe Chief Irons made Albert Wesker and Enrico Marini the Captains of S.T.A.R.S.,”
said Brad. “Marini’s a good Captain, I think it you should have been the other Captain.”
“Yeah, well you know Irons,” said Chris. “A total idiot.” Suddenly, Wesker broke into
the restaurant. “Guys!” he shouted. “Irons wants us to meet him in the meeting room.”
“All right,” said Chris. “We’ll be there in a moment.” Wesker left. “Why does he always
wear those sunglasses?” asked Brad. “I don’t know......,” replied Chris. He thought that
Albert had some kind of eye problem. Chris and Brad walked back to the Police Station.
Jill Valentine was waiting for them at the front doors. “Hey guys,” she said. “Have a nice
lunch?” “Yeah,” said Brad. “Where are the others?” asked Chris. “Oh,” replied Jill.
“They’re already in the meeting room.” The three of them walked to the meeting room.
Irons had every officer meet in the room. “Sit down everyone,” he said. “We have to
discuss some things. We have reported that Umbrella Co. has stored some chemicals, and
creating creatures, in the Spencer Mansion located near Raccoon Forest. We have heard
that there has also been recent killings in the Mansion. The S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, has
been reported missing. The recruits missing are Richard Aiken, Rebecca Chambers,
Enrico Marini, Forest Speyer, Kenneth J. Sullivan, and Edward Dewey. Alpha Team:
Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield, Brad Vickers, Jill Valentine, Barry Burton, and Joseph
Frost, are to find the Bravo Helicopter, find Bravo Team, and go into the mansion. Good
luck. Also, on September 29, 1998, Leon Scott Kennedy, a recruit that just signed up an
hour ago, will be arriving.” The Alpha Team ran off and got in their cars. The forest was
dark and creepy. They got out and entered the forest. “Keep your eyes open,” said Chris.
“Yeah,” said Brad. “Don’t want to die here now, would we?” “What if we do?” asked
Barry. “You’re new here, aren’t you?” asked Jill. “Yeah,” replied Barry. “I just signed up
a couple of months ago.” “Well,” said Chris. “If you die, someone will replace you. But
if you mean, here in the forest, we’ll be a man short. And there will be a bigger chance
that more people will die.” “So in other words,” said Brad. “Keep your eyes open.” The
Alpha Team slowly made their way through the forest, but halfway to the Mansion, they
saw a Big Guy. “Use your Grenade Launchers,” instructed Albert. All six of them pulled
out their own Launchers and it took two shots each to knock him out. The only problem
was, that only five of them survived. “I keep telling you guys,” said Albert. “Always keep
your eyes open!” “He did!” shouted Chris. “Joseph tried!” All the other S.T.A.R.S. just
stood there and watched. “Listen!” shouted Albert. “I’m the Captain of S.T.A.R.S. I’m
the boss of all of you! Even Irons said that!” “Irons is an idiot!” shouted Chris going out
of control. “So are you!” “Wait until Irons hears about this!” shouted Albert. “We’ll just
see about that!” snapped Chris. “Guys!” shouted Brad. “Stop it! We’ve got a mission to
do!” It took a while, but Chris and Albert finally stopped. “When he dies,” mumbled
Chris to himself. “I’ll be glad.” They eventually got to the Mansion, but there was no
sight of the Bravo Team Helicopter. “Let’s check around back,” suggested Barry. The
Alpha Team walked around the mansion. But the Chopper was nowhere. Behind the
Mansion though, was a big tall hill with a building on top. The building was probably
where all the offices were. On their way back, Jill spotted an object by the forest.
“Look!” she exclaimed. The Alpha Team ran over to it. “The Helicopter,” said Albert.
“Anyone in it?” asked Brad. “No,” replied Albert walking back out of it. “They must be
close by,” Chris said to himself. “Let’s go in the Mansion now,” said Barry. Once inside,
there was no sign of the Bravo Team. “Let’s wait a little,” suggested Jill. “Half an hour
only,” replied Albert. After twenty minutes, five of the Bravo Team showed up. “Where’s
Frost?” asked Enrico Marini. “Dead,” replied Chris. Albert snarled at Chris. They were
never really friends. They always thought they were better than one another. But Chris
was a quicker thinker. “Dewey’s also dead,” stated Sullivan. “Okay,” said Albert. “We’re
all here except for Frost and Dewey. Good. Here’s the plan: The Alpha Team will take
upstairs, while the Bravo Team takes the main floor.” “Works for me,” said Marini.
“Good,” replied Wesker. “Let’s go!” Both teams ran off to their areas. At the top of the
stairs, Chris saw something big. Quickly, he grabbed the other four, and pulled them
down. “SSSSSHHHH!!!” he whispered. “Look!” They all looked. “That’s the thing we
saw in the forest,” pointed out Brad. “Looks like we only knocked him out,” said Jill.
“Only use Grenade Launchers for this guy,” instructed Wesker. The five of them jumped
up. Big Guy looked at them, and started walking slowly towards them. He was creepy
looking. The Alpha Team shot him. It took three hits each to knock him out this time. “It
took more hit to knock him out this time,” stated Brad. “He must get stronger each time.”
They went through the door to the left of the stairwell. There was a long hallway behind
the door. As they walked past the second window, a strange figure broke through and
landed on the floor. Then it climbed to it’s feet. “Uhhhhhh.....,” it moaned. It walked
towards them like the living dead. Wesker pulled out a shotgun and blasted it. “A
Zombie,” he said, looking at it. They continued down the hall and went through the door.
They were in a very large room, with tables set up in rows. Chairs were set up along the
tables. There were five corpses of people in chairs. “The dining room,” said Brad.
Suddenly, something mysterious broke through the top window and dropped to the
ground. It had no skin, or skull. It had a long tongue, like a lizard’s. The only thing you
could see on it was it’s muscles, brain, and eyes. “Ssssssaaaaaa,” was the sound it made,
drooling a bit. Chris quickly pulled out his Grenade Launcher and blasted it into pieces.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?!” shouted Wesker. “NO!!” Chris shouted back. “WHAT DID I
TELL YOU!!!” shouted Albert. “Only to use Grenade Launchers for the Big Guy,” said
Chris repeating what Albert had said earlier. “BUT I DON’T TAKE ORDERS FROM
YOU!!!” “IRONS WILL BE ANGRY AT YOU!!!” spat Wesker. “HE’LL MAKE YOU
PAY FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME!!!” Chris told himself that he would just ignore
Albert for the rest of the mission. He hated his guts. So did Albert. Why did Albert
always wear his sunglasses anyway? Chris wished he could just rip them off his head.
They continued through the next door, and entered a room with all these maps of the
Mansion. Chris and Brad looked at the For 2 Map. “The next room,” said Brad pointing
at the map. “Is the Elevator Room. The elevators go up to the building on top of the hill.
But they won’t work, unless we have an Elevator Key.” “Where do we get that from?”
asked Chris. “Who cares?” asked Albert, walking over. “Not me!” “Stay out of this!”
snapped Chris. “Attitude,” said Wesker walking away. Now, Albert was really getting on
Chris’ nerves. “Don’t worry man,” said Brad. “I hate him too.” “Me too,” said Jill,
walking over and joining in. “I think everyone hates him,” said Barry. “Did Frost like
him?” asked Jill. “I don’t think he did,” replied Barry. “You know what I think,” said
Brad. Everyone gathered around him-except for Albert. “I think he wants to kill Marini.”
“Why would he want to do that?” asked Jill. “Because,” replied Brad. “He wants to be
the only Captain. That’s why he doesn’t care if anyone on S.T.A.R.S. dies. Because it
only gives him a better advantage of being the only Captain.” “You want to know what I
think?” asked Chris. “What?” all three of them whispered. “I think that sometime tonight,
he will kill all of us. He will lie to Irons that we were killed by some mutant or
something. Now, we must make sure that he doesn’t. He’s really strong so, the only way
we can weaken him, is by using our guns. But we can’t be too sure about this. If we see
him pull out his gun or shoot somebody, pull out your gun, and shoot him.” Suddenly,
Albert stopped studying the maps and walk over to them. “Having a little conversation
that I should know about?” he asked. “No,” replied Brad. “Good,” said Albert looking at
Brad strangely. “Guys,” said Wesker. “If you don’t tell me what you were talking about,
Irons will heard about it! He said that everyone should know about what one person
says.” “Irons this, Irons that!” shouted Chris. “That’s all you ever say!” “He will defiantly
hear about this,” said Wesker. Suddenly, an elevator arrived. The Alpha Team pulled out
their Handguns. “It’s only us!” shouted Rebecca Chambers from the Bravo Team. The
Alpha Team lowered their guns. “How’d you guys work the elevator?” asked Brad. “We
found an Elevator Key,” replied Forest Speyer. “But if we are going to go to the building
on top of the hill,” said Kenneth J. Sullivan. “You guys will need one too.” “Man,” said
Richard Aiken. “We encountered this Big Guy, that was slow and creepy looking.” “Have
you guys seen anything like him?” asked Marini. “Yeah,” replied Chris. “We’ve seen him
twice. He killed Frost.” Again, Wesker snarled at Chris. This time, Chris just ignored it.
“We’re all going to have to search for the second one,” announced Wesker. “WHAT!”
shouted Speyer. “Yes,” replied Wesker. “It’ll be faster. Plus, Irons said if we are going to
move to a different area, we should stay together. So there’s no point in running off
somewhere else.” Irons is all he talks about, thought Chris. “Alright,” agreed Marini.
“Let’s go. The Bravo Team will search the basement.” “There’s a basement?” asked
Chris. “Yes,” replied Martini. “Let’s go!” Chris and the rest of the Alpha Team looked at
Albert. He looked furious. “He’s probably mad at Marini after what he told everybody to
do,” whispered Brad. “I guess he though Marini sounded like the boss of them all,”
suggested Jill. “He’s just jealous that he couldn’t think of where the teams would search
first,” said Chris. The four of them looked back at Albert. He was turned away from
them. “He’s thinking of something,” whispered Chris. “And I know what.” “What?”
asked the others. “When he’s going to kill us all,” replied Chris. The Bravo Team got in
one elevator and went down to the basement. “Alright guys,” said Albert turning and
facing them. “Let’s go search on the first floor.” “I though that’s where the Bravo Team
found theirs,” protested Brad. “So what!” snapped Albert. “We’re going to look there!”
“He’s a psycho,” Chris whispered in Brad’s ear. “That’s why he’s like this now. He’s
really mad at Marini. I think he should die right now.” “But the number one rule of being
a S.T.A.R.S. is to not kill innocent bystanders or team-mates,” replied Brad. “You’re
right,” said Chris. “But Albert looks as if he’s going to go against it. Like I said, he’ll kill
everybody.” Chris, Brad, Jill, and Barry kept this secret to themselves. They followed
Albert to the first floor. They were in a long hallway with many doors on the sides and
one at the end. Albert opened the first one. It was full of Plants that walked. Wesker
pulled out his shotgun and blew them away. After, they all walked in and looked around.
The place was covered with plants wrapped around every object. There was a human
corpse laying in the corner with plant tentacles moving at him. “Nothing in here,” said
Barry. “There might be....,” replied Wesker. “You guys go check the other rooms.” The
other four went out of the room and opened the second door. Five Zombies were in it.
They all turned and walked towards the S.T.A.R.S. “Use your shotgun,” instructed Chris.
Everyone else on the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team thought that Chris should be the
Captain-except Albert. He had always disagreed with anything that had to do with Chris.
They pulled out their shotguns and shot the Zombies. They all died in one hit. “That was
easy,” said Jill. “Well,” said Barry. “Zombies are never really smart.” There was nothing
of interest in the room. They continued onto the third room. There was a tongue-thing in
it. “Ssssssssaaaaaa.” Still using their shotguns, they quickly ran low on ammo. The
tongue-thing was dead, but it slash Barry in the leg. “Ow!” he kept repeating. “We need
to find Rebecca,” Jill said to Chris. “She’s the Medical Expert.” Chris nodded. “I’ll go
get Wesker,” said Brad. “No!” shouted Chris. Brad stopped running. “He won’t care.”
“Oh, yeah,” said Brad. “Just like he doesn’t care about what happened to Frost.” “He was
my friend too.....,” said Barry. “That bastard,” said Chris. “At least I care about my
friends. Brad, Jill, Barry, Forest, Edward, Rick, Joseph, Rebecca, Enrico, and Kenneth.
Every S.T.A.R.S. Member except Albert.” “I think Marini takes Albert for a good
friend,” said Barry. “But he just doesn’t know the truth.” The Alpha Team followed
Albert down some stairs. “All right,” said Wesker. “We’ll split up into groups. Me, Chris
and Brad will be one team, while Jill and Barry another. Pick up any survivors.” “Right,”
they all agreed. “Let’s go,” said Wesker. Both teams took off in separate directions,
running. “Why’d you pick us?” asked Chris. “Because,” replied Albert. “You two are
basically the best of the best. Chris, I think we should act like friends more.” Chris
thought that Albert had gone crazy, but he told himself it would be okay. But he still
didn’t trust Albert fully. Something told him that Albert would turn out to be a traitor.
“Fine,” replied Chris, still running. Albert burst through the next door. They were in a
room with two Zombies. “Chris,” said Albert. “Blast them.” Chris pulled out his shotgun
and blew the Zombies away. On the other side of them, there was a man. Brad ran up to
him. The man looked at him. “Uhhhhhh.....,” he moaned. Suddenly, his skin turned grey.
He got up and walked towards Brad, but Chris blasted him. “Be more careful,” he told
Brad. “Thanks man,” said Brad. “No problem,” replied Chris. “I wonder how the Bravo
Team is doing,” said Albert. “Chris, call them on your radio.” Chris pulled out his radio.
“Enrico,” he said. No reply. “Enrico!” PSSSSHHHH!!!! “Ow!” shouted Chris, pulling the
radio away. He looked at Albert. “Try again.” Chris turned on the radio. “Enrico!”
Finally, Marini replied. “Chris!” “How are you doing?” asked Chris. “Well,” replied
Enrico. “We haven’t found the Elevator Key yet, but Speyer’s injured.” “What
happened?” asked Chris. “He was attacked by Zombies,” replied Enrico. “Rebecca is
trying to help him, but so far, no luck.” “I think Jill and Barry are trying to find you,” said
Chris. “Barry was slashed by those tongue-like things.” “We call those “things,”
Lickers,” said Enrico. “Lickers?” repeated Chris. “Yes,” replied Enrico. “Their tongue is
capable of piercing a human torso within a second.” “Wow,” said Chris. “That’s fast.”
“Uh oh!” shouted Enrico. “Gotta go!” “Wait!” Chris shouted back. But Enrico had
already disconnected. “Something bad is probably around,” said Brad. “Nonsense,” said
Albert. “Never think that.” “The Big Guy is probably around though,” said Chris. Brad
looked at his shotgun. “I’m almost out,” he said. “Me too,” said Chris, joining in. “What
about you, Albert?” But Albert was reading a sign on top of a door. “Weapon storage,” he
said. “Come on. Let’s go in. They entered the room. Five human corpses were laying on
the ground. There were lockers to their right. “Check them,” instructed Albert. Chris and
Brad opened the lockers. “Let’s see,” said Albert, walking over. “US AR33 Assault
Rifles, Handguns, Shotguns, Grenade Launchers, Flame-throwers, and Sub-Machine
Guns.” “What do we take?” asked Brad. “Take one AR33, one Flame-thrower, and one
Sub- Machine Gun,” replied Albert. They quickly equipped the guns and ammo in their
backpacks. Then they ran out the door. But when they came out, two Lickers quickly
moved towards them. “Let’s try out our new AR33s,” said Albert. They pulled out their
AR33s and shot the Lickers. One jumped at Brad, but he quickly ducked and killed it.
“Powerful,” said Brad. “Look,” said Chris. “There’s a ventilation duct up there.” They all
looked up at the roof. The cage that covered it was already opened. “Someone has
already gone through it,” said Albert. “Let’s go up it. Use your shooting rope.” Albert,
Chris, and Brad shot their ropes at the top. Then they shot up and were in the ventilation
duct. Inside, there was a small hallway, big enough for an adult to fit in. They ran down it
and found another vent cage opened. “He must have come down here,” said Albert.
“Let’s see if we can follow him.” The three jumped down and onto the floor. Albert
picked up his radio. “Jill?” he asked. She picked it up right away. “Albert? Are you guys
okay?” “Yeah,” replied Albert. “We just ran into some Lickers. You know, those
tongue-things?” “Yeah,” replied Jill. “Enrico told us.” “How’s Barry?” Chris asked, using
his own radio. “He’ll be fine until we find Rebecca,” replied Jill. “Have you see Big
Guy?” “No,” replied Albert. “We just ran into him,” said Jill. “Where are you?” asked
Albert. “We just came through a ventilation duct,” replied Jill. “Look on your scanner,”
Albert told Chris. He looked. “They’re in through the door down the right side of the
hall.” “We’ll meet you guys in the next room,” Albert told Jill. “Right,” agreed Jill.
Albert hung up. “Let’s go.” Jill and Barry were waiting for them in the other room. “No
fair!” shouted Barry. “You guys got better guns!” “Well,” said Albert. “You would’ve if
you came with us.” “Have you guys kept in touch with the Bravo Team?” asked Jill.
Albert, Chris, and Brad looked at each other. “No,” Brad finally said. “What happened to
them?” asked Chris. “We don’t know,” replied Jill. Beep! Chris’ radio started beeping.
“Yeah?” “Chris!” shouted Enrico. “We haven’t heard from you guys for a long time!”
“How are you doing?” asked Chris. “We’ve just encountered the Big Guy,” replied
Enrico. “Sullivan was injured, but Rebecca just bandaged it, so he’ll be fine.” “Good,”
said Chris. “We really need to see Rebecca. Barry’s injured.” “Well,” said Enrico. “I’m
sure we’ll meet up somehow.....” “We have to go,” interrupted Albert. “We’ll contact you
later.” “Right,” agreed Enrico, hanging up. Chris looked at Albert, waiting for a plan.
“We’ll continue on,” Albert finally said. “Follow me.” Wesker lead them through the
next door. They were back in the front hall. “From here,” he said. “We will go the way
the Bravo Team took.” Everyone followed him down a hallway and through another
door. The room was medium-sized, with three Zombies. “Lot’s of Zombies,” said Jill.
“That means,” said Barry. “More people to kill!” Barry probably loved more targets to
shoot, since he was the Weapons Specialist. The Zombies took three shots each, since the
S.T.A.R.S. were using their handguns. There was a desk and a computer on the other side
of the Zombies. “Jill,” said Albert. “Go check the desk and the computer.” Jill ran over
and switched the computer on. ‘HALL DOORS: LOCKED, STAIRS DOORS:
UNLOCKED, COMMAND:’ Jill typed in ‘UNLOCK HALL DOORS.’ Suddenly, the
Hall Doors unlocked, but the stair doors locked. The S.T.A.R.S. waited, as they heard all
the doors clicking. “They’re finished unlocking,” Jill said once they were finished.
“Alright,” said Albert. “We’ll split up into our groups again. Jill, as you guys are
searching for the Elevator Key, look for Rebecca if you want to help Barry.” “I’m tellin’
you!” yelled Barry. “I’m fine.” “But when you walk or run, you limp,” said Albert. “If
you want to die, be my guest.” “Fine,” replied Barry. The two groups split up. Albert’s
group took the same way the Bravo Team did when they met up in the mansion. The door
was unlocked, so they went through it. There were stairs at the end of the hall. “Those
must lead to the basement,” said Chris. “Should we go down them?” asked Brad. “Yes,”
replied Albert. The three of them ran down them. The basement was cold, with brick
walls. “Stop for a sec,” said Albert. “What?” asked Chris. “I thought I heard something,”
replied Albert. “Let me go check if there’s anything at the end of the hall. “Fine,” replied
Chris. The funny thing was, that Chris never even heard a sound. He must be trying to
lose us, he thought. SLAM! CLICK! Albert must have slammed the door at the end of the
hall. “Brad,” said Chris. “Let’s go check out where Albert is.” “Alright,” replied Brad.
The two of them ran over to the end. “The door’s closed and locked,” Brad said,
examining it. “I think he tried to lose us on purpose,” said Chris. “I agree,” said Brad.
“Looks like we’ll have to get out of here on our own.” “I’m just going wherever your
going,” said Brad. “Okay....,” said Chris. “Let’s go back up the stairs.” “Fine with me,”
said Brad. They ran back up the stairs and got to the door they came in. Chris turned the
knob. “Locked.” “Albert must have locked it on his way in,” said Brad. “Looks like we’ll
have to find another way out of here.” “I guess we’ll go back down the stairs and through
the opposite door,” said Chris. “Okay,” agreed Brad. They ran back down and to the
opposite door. “This door has to be unlocked,” said Chris, crossing his fingers. “You
open it.” Brad turned the knob. “Locked,” he replied. “Damn!” shouted Chris. And with
that, he kicked the door. It didn’t break though. “I have an idea!” exclaimed Brad.
“What?” asked Chris, annoyed. “We’ll us our Timed Mines to blow the wall out!”
“Excellent plan,” replied Chris. “Only one problem. Umbrella will be mad. But, who
cares, right?” “Set the time for, five seconds,” instructed Brad. “Right,” replied Chris,
pulling out a Timed Mine. They both set it on the wall and ran. BOOM!!! The wall blew
up, making a clearing. “Get out your AR33,” instructed Chris. They both pulled out their
guns. “Be careful,” said Brad. “I will,” replied Chris. They entered the room. It was a
waiting room. Both S.T.A.R.S. sat down on a bench. “This is hard work,” said Brad.
“Who said it wouldn’t be?” asked Chris. “You’ve got a point there,” said Brad. Chris was
just about to relax when......SMASH!!! “AAAAAHHHH!!!!” screamed Chris, getting up
and running over to Brad. They both looked at the figure that had broken in. “Big Guy!”
yelled Brad. “Grenade Launchers?” “Yeah!” Chris yelled back at him. BOOM!!! The
Grenades from the Launchers hit Big Guy right in the chest. “He’ll wake up soon,” said
Chris. “Then,” said Brad. “Let’s get outta here!” Both took off through a door. The
hallway they were in had lots of turns. “What a hallway!” exclaimed Brad. “I’ve seen
many like this one,” said Chris. Suddenly, Chris heard the sound of footsteps.
“SSSHHH!!!” he whispered to Brad. “What?” asked Brad. “Someone’s in this hall,”
replied Chris. “Let’s go check it out.” They both got up and ran the rest of the way. When
they approached the last corner, Chris darted back against the wall. “There he is.” The
both of them looked. “He must be an Umbrella worker,” said Brad. “Watch my back
while I go talk to him,” said Chris. “Right,” replied Brad. Chris slowly walked towards
the Umbrella worker. “Hello?” he asked. “AAAHHH!!!” screamed the Umbrella worker.
“Wait!” yelled Chris, running over, grabbing the man, and covering his mouth. “Do you
want to die?” The man settled down. “Oh,” he said. “I thought you were one of those
Zombies.” “Sorry,” said Chris. “I didn’t think I’d scare you. Brad! Get over here!” Brad
ran over. “What’s your name?” “Dan Tucker,” replied the man. “How about you?” “I’m
Brad Vickers,” replied Brad. “And this is Chris Redfield.” “Do you guys work for the
R.P.D. S.T.A.R.S. Team?” asked Dan. “Yeah,” replied Chris. “Do you know who is
responsible for all this?” “Yes,” replied Dan. “William. William Birkin. He is the man
who created all these monsters. He is also the owner of Umbrella Co.” “Where is he?”
asked Brad. “I don’t know,” replied Dan. “We got separated when Tyrant attacked us.”
“Tyrant?” asked Chris. “Yeah,” answered Dan. “You know, the Big Guy? Well, that’s
him. The deadliest monster we have created so far.” “We know what you mean,” said
Brad. “How many of you are there?” asked Dan. “Well,” replied Chris. “There were
twelve of us, but two of them have died and two are injured.” “How?” Dan asked.
“Well,” began Chris. “Edward Dewey must have died when a monster got him, and
Joseph Frost died when Tyrant got him. Forest Speyer was injured by a Zombie, which
Rebecca can’t seem to fix, and Barry Burton was injured by a Licker.” “Was Speyer
bitten?” asked Dan. “I guess so,” replied Chris. “When was he bitten?” Dan asked.
“Enrico reported it to us one-hour and forty-five minutes ago,” replied Chris. “If this
Rebecca person can’t help him in fifteen minutes,” said Dan. “He will turn into a
Zombie. Anyone who survives a Zombie bite, will turn into one in two hours.” “Sound
serious,” said Brad. “It is,” said Dan. “If Zombies kill a human by eating them, they will
also turn into Zombies.” “Gross!” yelled Chris. “The only way to stop humans from
turning into Zombies by getting bitten is one, blowing their brains out, or slowly
amputate them,” said Dan. “Well,” said Chris. “If you don’t want to turn into a Zombie
or die, let’s get moving!” “Right,” Dan and Brad said together. They went through the
door and entered a room with shelves. “Looks like no one’s in here,” said Brad. “Don’t
be too sure,” said Dan. “He’s right,” Chris told Brad. “There could be a Zombie or two
on the other side of that shelf. I’ll go check.” Chris slowly walked to the corner of the
shelf. He was right. There was a Zombie on the other side. The Zombie was turned in the
opposite direction, so it didn’t see him. “There is,” whispered Chris. He pulled out his
AR33 and suddenly, jumped out to where the Zombie could see him. “DIE!!” shouted
Chris, pumping the Zombie with lead. The Zombie dropped to the ground. “Let’s keep
going,” suggested Chris. The others nodded. They ran through the next door. The hallway
they were in was big and wide. Suddenly, they heard a moan. “It came from the end of
the hall,” said Dan. “Let’s go check it out,” suggested Brad. “Right,” responded Chris.
They quickly moved down the hall and found a figure laying on the ground. Chris took a
good look at him. “Forest Speyer,” he finally said. Brad ran up to him. “He’s still
breathing.” Chris went up beside him. “Forest?” he asked. Speyer’s head slowly looked
up at Chris. “Oh, Chris,” he said. “I was attacked by Zombies, look!” Chris looked at
Speyer’s chest. “Zombie bite marks,” he said. “Albert also shot me there,” said Forest.
“He believed it would help me.” “He passed through here?” asked Chris. “Yeah,” replied
Forest. “He went through that door.” Speyer pointed to the door on the left. “Where’s the
rest of the Bravo Team?” asked Chris. “They left me behind,” replied Speyer. “They
knew I couldn’t be helped if Rebecca couldn’t help me.” “I see,” said Chris. “Chris.....,”
moaned Forest. “Get out of here! I’m going to turn into a Zombie within seconds!”
“Come one!” yelled Brad. “You heard him!” “He’s right Chris!” yelled Dan. “Let’s go!”
“Good luck......,” moaned Speyer. “Goodbye,” said Chris. Then he got up, and ran to the
door with the others. The others went through, but Chris stayed. He wanted to take one
last look at Speyer. Speyer got up and looked at Chris. The skin on Speyer started to turn
grey. Then his eyes turned white and he slowly walked towards Chris like the living dead.
Chris ran though the door and shut it. “He’s a Zombie,” he told Brad and Dan. “This
Albert guy must be pretty stupid if he thought that shooting Speyer in the exact place
where he got bitten was going to stop him from turning into a Zombie,” said Dan. “You
don’t know how stupid Albert is,” Chris told Dan. “We’ve got to find him!” exclaimed
Brad. They burst through the next door. “Chris, Brad!” shouted Jill and Barry. Sure
enough, Albert was with them. They were in an elevator, and the door started to close.
“Hurry!” shouted Jill. Chris and Brad bolted towards the elevator. “The door’s going to
close!” shouted Barry. Suddenly, the elevator door closed, and the elevator went up.
“Damn!” shouted Chris. “There’s got to be another way up,” said Brad. “You guys are on
your own,” said Dan. “I’m going my own way.” “See you up there then,” said Chris. Dan
ran through a door. “So,” said Chris. “How are we going to get up?” “Well,” replied
Brad. “I was thinking of a plan, but you’ll probably disagree with it.” “Try me,” said
Chris. “We could climb the mountain outside,” suggested Brad. Chris gave Brad a funny
look.
“I still can’t believe you talked me into this,” Chris told Brad. They were at the bottom of
the mountain. “How are we going to get up, anyway?” “Use your shooting rope,” replied
Brad, pulling out his. “Okay,” said Chris, pulling out his. Brad shot his out. Then he
pulled on it. “It made it.” Chris shot out his. “So did mine. But we’ll have to climb.
These things don’t pull you up on their own.” They put their feet on the mountain and
started climbing up. “This is hard work,” said Chris. “No one said it was easy,” said
Brad. Chris looked up at the rest of the way they had to climb. “It’s a long way up.” A
storm was coming. Chris could tell because he could see the lightning striking the top of
the mountain. “Can we survive the storm coming up?” asked Chris. “I don’t know,”
replied Brad. “It looks like a big storm.” “Then we’d better hurry up,” said Chris. “Start
climbing faster.” “Right,” agreed Brad. But by halfway, they were exhausted. “I’m too
tired to climb anymore,” moaned Brad. “We have to climb!” yelled Chris. “Otherwise,
with me out of the way, Albert will kill everybody.” “You’re right,” said Brad. “Then
let’s go!” instructed Chris. Both of them started climbing again. “Just a quarter more to
go,” Chris announced half-an-hour later. “Almost there,” said Chris. Half-an-hour later,
they reached the top. “What a climb!” exclaimed Brad, falling onto the ground. “Get up!”
yelled Chris. “We have to get inside!” Brad jumped up and the both of them ran over to a
door. Chris tried to open it. “It’s locked, so I’ll plant a Remote Mine on it.” He pulled out
a Remote Mine and stuck it on the door. Then they ran behind the corner of the building.
BOOM!!! They pulled out their AR33s and ran inside. They were in a hallway with no
doors, except the one at the end of it. It had a large window on it. They ran over to it and
tried to open it. “It’s also locked,” said Chris. Brad turned his gun around and tried to
break the window. Once it was all cracked, Brad gave it one last hit, and it shattered. The
both of them jumped through it and ran down the hallway that turned the whole way. At
the end of it, Jill, Barry, and Richard were trying to open a door. The hallway was dark.
Probably because the power had gone off. “Chris!” yelled Jill. “Where have you been?”
Chris looked at Brad. “We rock-climbed to get up here,” Brad told them. “The powers
out,” reported Richard. “That’s why we can’t get through any doors. They’re all
electronically locked.” “Kenneth and Rebecca are trapped through this one,” Barry told
Chris and Brad, pointing to the door on the right. “And Albert and Enrico are trapped
inside this room,” said Jill, pointing to the one with the large window on it. Chris ran up
to it and pressed his ear to it. “I can heard them talking,” he said. This is what he heard:
“How’d the power go out?” Albert asked Enrico. “I don’t know!” replied Enrico. “I think
you’re responsible for it, since you and your team went through the Power Room,”
accused Albert. “I’m telling you!” shouted Enrico. “I didn’t do it!” “Lies,” said Albert,
pulling out his handgun. “No!!!” shouted Chris. BANG!!! “AAAAHHHH!!!” Enrico
screamed in pain. BANG!!! Chris looked through. Enrico was laying on the ground.
“NO!!!” shouted Chris. He hit the window with the back of his gun. Hard. So hard, that it
broke. Then he jumped through and ran at Albert. “BASTARD!!!” Albert pointed his gun
at Chris and shot him in the arm. “AAAHHH!!!” he screamed in pain. Suddenly, the
power went back on, and all the doors opened. Richard ran at Albert. “Get him!” he
shouted. But Albert just shot Aiken in the heart. Aiken fell to the ground, grabbing the
spot where his heart was. Then he slowly stopped breathing. “NO!!!” Chris shouted on
the ground. Then, Kenneth ran at Albert. Albert turned and shot Kenneth in the head.
Kenneth fell to the ground. “NO!!!” Chris shouted again. Then, Rebecca ran in and
grabbed Albert. “What are you doing?!” she shouted. Albert didn’t reply. He just shook
her off and tried to kill her, but the bullet hit her arm. “AAAHHH!!!” she screamed.
Suddenly, someone’s gun fired and almost hit Albert in the head. “Who did that?!” he
shouted. He looked of at the door with the broken window. Chris looked over. It was
Brad. He was pointing his AR33 at Albert. “I thought you said no killing teammates,” he
said. “I hate Irons!” shouted Albert. “I’ve always hated him!” “You act like he’s your
best friend,” Chris told him. “I was just tricking you guys into thinking that I was actually
going to tell him this,” he replied. “No one will be able to stop me! By the end of this
mission, all four of you will be dead!” Then he looked at Brad and pointed his gun at
him. BANG!!! Brad fell to the ground. “Three more!” Albert said, excited. But Chris
knew his friend only too well. He knew that Brad was a fast mover. He knew that he was
still alive. Jill and Rebecca were shocked. Albert walked over to Brad reloaded his gun.
Albert looked down at him. Suddenly, Brad kicked Albert’s handgun away and got up.
“Ha!” Brad laughed. “Obviously, you don’t know me very well.” Albert pulled out his
shotgun and aimed it at Brad, but Brad quickly pulled out his AR33 and shot Albert’s
shotgun, causing him to drop it. Then Brad pointed his gun at Albert. “Drop all of your
guns on the ground,” he instructed. Albert dropped all his guns on the ground and backed
away. To his handgun. “Brad!” shouted Chris. Brad looked at Chris, and Albert dived to
get his handgun. Then he quickly took a shot at Brad. But luckily for Brad, the bullet just
barely missed his head. Albert took another shot, but Brad already knew what Albert was
trying to do. He dived into the room, just before the bullet hit him. Chris looked at Jill.
She had her gun pointed at Albert. “Time for you to die,” she said. Then she fired. The
bullet caught Albert in the arm. “OW!!!” he yelled. And with that, he shot Jill in the leg.
“AAAHHH!!!” she screamed, falling to the ground. “JILL!!!” shouted Chris. He got up
and ran over to her. “Are you alright?” he asked. “Yeah,” replied Jill. “I’ll be fine.”
Suddenly, Albert got up like he wasn’t even harmed. Then he ran down the hall. “Brad?”
Chris called. “Are you alright?” “Yeah,” replied Brad. “Brad,” said Chris. “Watch Jill.”
“What about you?” asked Brad. “I’m going after Albert,” replied Chris. “Right,” said
Brad. Chris took one final look, then he took off after Albert. BANG!!! A gun fired at
Chris, right after he came through the same door Albert did. He looked down the hall.
Albert was pointing his handgun at Chris. “You’ll never win Chris,” he said. “That’s
what you think!” Chris yelled back. He pulled out his own handgun but just before he
could fire, Albert shot it away. “Ha!” laughed Albert. Chris ran at Albert and pulled out
his shotgun. Once again, Albert took off down the rest of the hallway. Chris fired his
shotgun. The bullets just missed Albert’s head. Albert quickly spun around, and shot
Chris’ gun. The bullet knocked the shotgun out of Chris’ hand. He was running out of
guns. Suddenly, Albert stopped running, and pointed his gun at Chris. Since Chris didn’t
have any time to pull out any guns, he stopped and put his hands up. “This is where it
ends, hotshot,” Albert told Chris. “You really think you’ll get away with this?” asked
Chris. “Yes,” replied Albert. “Once you’re dead, the rest of your friends will be helpless.
They will be weak without you!” Chris looked to his right. There was a window. If I jump
through it, I could probably fall a long way, he thought. But if I do, I might survive. Well,
it’s better than dying by getting shot. Chris looked at Albert. His gun was still pointed at
him. “You know Chris,” he said. “I was always better.” And with that, Albert took a shot
at Chris. Chris jumped though the window, just before the bullet hit him. The window
broke easily, and in the next second, Chris found himself falling. Then he hit something
hard. He was knocked out for a couple of seconds, but then he woke up. “Aw,” he
moaned. He felt like all energy was lost. He slowly turned over and looked back up at
where he fell. He probably fell about, twenty feet. Then he saw Albert. He was looking
down at him like he was crazy to jump through. Albert attached his shooting rope to the
windowsill, and jumped down. When he landed, he kicked Chris in the gut. Then he
stepped on his back. Then he pulled Chris up to his feet. “This is where you die,” Albert
told him. “You’ll fall off the cliff.” Then he punched Chris in the face. Chris fell to the
ground. He moaned in pain as he touched his face. There was blood on his forehead.
Albert pick Chris up. “Goodbye Chris,” he said, holding him over the cliff. Suddenly,
Chris kicked Albert in the gut, and Albert fell backwards and onto the ground. Chris went
down on his knees and punch Albert in the face. The blow caused Albert’s sunglasses to
fly off the cliff. Chris looked at Albert’s eyes. They were plain white, like a Zombie’s.
“Albert!” shouted Chris. “Your eyes! Were you-” “Yes,” interrupted Albert. “I was
infected by the T Virus. The Virus that turned everyone into Zombies. I was infected, but
found a cure just before I turned into one.” Suddenly, Albert kicked Chris in the gut, and
kicked him once more to knock him off the cliff. “AAAHHH!!!” Chris yelled as he was
falling. Suddenly, he hit something hard. Land! He was saved! There was a little piece of
land sticking out of the mountain. “What?” Albert called down. “Still not dead? You’re
tougher than I thought!” Chris looked up at Albert. He had fallen another twenty feet.
Albert jumped down and kicked Chris. “You’ll die for sure if you fall this time,” Albert
told him. Then, with all his strength, Chris kicked Albert in the gut, and Albert went
down. While Albert was on the ground, Chris shot his shooting rope up and shot up to the
top of the mountain. As he was running over to the door, he caught a glimpse of Albert’s
shooting rope coming up. Chris quickly opened the door and locked it. Once inside, Chris
ran down the hall and found some stairs going down. BANG!!! Chris heard the sound of
banging on the door. Then it broke open. “GET BACK HERE!!!” shouted Albert. As
Chris was halfway down the stairs, he turned around and saw Albert loading his handgun.
Then he shot at Chris. Chris did a forward handspring, and the bullets barely missed him.
Then he continued on down and opened a door. Then, on the other side, he locked it, and
kept on running. Then he came to another door, and did the same thing. The room he was
in was probably the Power Room. He looked at all the engines. “Wow!” exclaimed.
Suddenly, BOOM!!! The door that led to the Power Room, exploded. “Why don’t you
just die!” shouted Albert. “NEVER!!!” Chris shouted back, and kept running. Suddenly,
he realized that he had made a mistake. Chris had ran right to the edge of the wall. “Bad
move,” Albert said, walking over, pointing his gun at him. Then, he fired. Chris did a
forward flip, and came behind Albert. Now Albert was against the wall. “You’ll be shot
before you can run,” said Albert. Chris knew that he would be shot. Just before he was
about to give his hopes up, two arms broke through the wall, and grabbed Albert.
“NO!!!” Albert yelled. Then, one of the arms came right through Albert’s chest. Blood
squirted everywhere around Albert. Then the arms let go of him, and Albert fell to the
ground. Then the mysterious figure came through the wall. “Tyrant,” Chris said to
himself. Tyrant came over to Chris and picked him up by the neck. Chris started choking,
but had enough strength to stick a grenade inside Tyrant. Tyrant let Chris go, and Chris
ran off. BOOM!!! Tyrant exploded into piece. Green blood flew around him. “Well,”
Chris said to himself. “I guess that’s the end of Tyrant.” He went over to Albert’s body.
“I might need this,” he said, picking up Albert’s shooting rope. You could see where
Albert’s backbone was broken through. “Chris!” a voice shouted. Chris spun around and
took a shot. “Hey!” yelled Brad. “It’s only me!” Luckily, Chris missed and hit one of the
engines. Suddenly, it exploded. “Now look what you did!” Brad shouted. “Albert and that
Tyrant thing are dead,” Chris told Brad. “So let’s get out of here!” “Sixteen minutes until
detonation,” a computer voice said. They ran up some stairs and burst through the door.
“Uhhhhh....,” moaned a voice. Chris and Brad looked. There was a man sitting on the
ground. “Hey,” said Chris. “Are you alright?” “Yes,” replied the man. “But I’m going to
die in this Mansion!” “Don’t say that!” yelled Brad. “You’ll make it if you come with
us!” “But....,” protested the man. “Just shut up and come with us!” snapped Chris. “Fine,”
replied the man. He got up and the three of them ran off. “Where’s the rest of the crew?”
Chris asked Brad. “They’re still waiting at the same place,” replied Brad. “Let’s hurry!”
“Right,” agreed Chris. They kept on running until they got to the place where Albert took
off. “Chris!” exclaimed Jill. “You’re alive!” “Where’s Albert?” asked Barry. “Dead,”
replied Chris. Suddenly, a man entered the hallway. “Dan!” yelled Brad. “Where were
you?” “Let’s just say,” replied Dan. “I had a hard time getting here.” “Where’s
Rebecca?” asked Chris. “I’m here,” replied Rebecca, coming out of the room. “Here’s
the plan,” said Chris. “We’ll all use our shooting ropes to get down the mountain outside,
then we’ll run to the cars.” “Sounds good to us,” Jill, Barry, Brad, and Rebecca said
together. “Good,” replied Chris. “Hey!” yelled Dan. “What about us?” “Use these,”
replied Chris, handing the two men Albert and Enrico’s shooting rope. “Just attach this
hook to something, and jump down.” “Okay,” replied Dan and the other man. The seven
of them ran down some stairs and through a door that led them outside. Then they all
attached their hook onto an object, and jumped down. They went down the mountain
fairly fast, but as they approached the bottom, they slowed down. The wind was blowing
hard, so they got tired really fast. “That cars are parked just outside of Raccoon Forest!”
yelled Chris. “Let’s hurry!” They ran as fast as they could through the forest, got in the
cars, and drove off. Chris, Brad, Dan, and the second Umbrella worker, were in one car,
while Jill, Barry, and Rebecca, went in the second one. “So, what’s your name?” Chris
asked the second Umbrella Worker. “My name is.....William,” replied the man. “William
Birkin.” “William Birkin,” repeated Brad. “Then you’re the guy who’s responsible for all
this!” “Yes,” replied William. “I though that we should have done better experiments.
But I was wrong. This whole town will turn into the “City Of The Dead.” “Some of the
town’s citizens have already turned into Zombies.” Chris looked through the rear-view
mirror. The mansion was in sight. BOOM!!! It had exploded. Everyone turned to look.
“No more mansion,” Brad said. “What were you guys doing in the Spencer Mansion
anyway?” asked Chris. “We were storing materials in it,” replied William. “We were
storing materials in it because of our renovations for the Umbrella Plant building south of
downtown Raccoon City on September 4th,” added Dan. “Hey, Chris?” asked Brad.
“What?” asked Chris. “Did you read the paper this morning?” asked Brad. “Yeah,”
replied Chris. “It said something about a couple being attacked by a group of ten or more
people.” “Those people that attacked them must have been Zombies,” said Brad. “Huh,”
Chris said. “Hey, what’s your name, Chris,” said William. “Can you drop us off at the
Umbrella Plant downtown?” “Sure,” replied Chris. After dropping off Will and Dan,
Chris drove back to R.P.D.
Three months later:
“Hey!” an officer shouted. The man looked up, then he ran. “Stop right there!” the officer
shouted again. The man didn’t reply. He just kept on running. “Wait up!” the officer
shouted again. But the man kept on running. After an hour, the officer stopped. “I’m too
tired to chase him anymore,” he said to himself. “Hey, what are these?” He picked up
some items. “The explosive C4, ammo, and a broken infrared scope. I wonder why he
would need these items in the sewers?” The officer ran back and showed Irons the items
he found in the sewers. “Irons!” exclaimed the officer. “While I was responding to a call,
I saw a suspicious individual and chased him away. These are the items I recovered.” He
handed Irons the items. “I wonder why he would need these in the sewers?” Irons asked
himself.
Two days later:
“AAAHHH!!!” screamed a teenager. “Get this lunatic off me!” Chris ran over, but the
man had already bit the teenager. Then the man went towards Chris. Chris shot him in
the neck, and he fell to the ground. Then Chris ran over to the teenager. “Are you
alright?” he asked. “The crazy guy bit me!” shouted the teenager. “That’s because,” said
Chris. “He’s a Zombie.” “What are you talking about?” asked the teenager. “Have you
been taking too many drugs or something?” “No!” yelled Chris. “I’m a member of the
Raccoon Police Department S.T.A.R.S. You think I would make up something like that?”
“Yeah!” replied the teenager. “There’s no such thing as Zombies!” Then he ran away.
“You’ll regret this if you don’t believe me!” Chris shouted back. “What’s wrong?” asked
Brad, running over. “Ah, this kid won’t believe me,” replied Chris. “He won’t believe
that he was bitten by a Zombie.” “Let’s get back to R.P.D.” suggested Brad. “Right,”
agreed Chris. When they got to the front doors, five Zombies were walking around the
area. “What the-?!” said Brad. “Why are there Zombies here!” “We’ll have to dodge
them,” said Chris. “The reason? We didn’t bring any guns! We’ll run through them.
Dodge as many as you can!” “Right!” agreed Brad. They ran through the Zombies easily,
and ran through the doors. Inside, there were two Zombies attacking officers. Then two
more officers pulled out handguns and killed the Zombies. Luckily for the officers
getting attacked, they weren’t bitten. Chris and Brad threw the dead Zombies outside,
and as soon as the other Zombies saw the dead ones, they ate them. “Yuck!” shouted
Brad. They ran back inside and shut the door. “Are there anymore Zombies inside?”
Chris asked one officer. “Didn’t you hear the latest?” the officer asked Chris. “The whole
town’s turned into Zombies! But, no, these were the only Zombies in here.” “Oh,” replied
Chris. “I didn’t know that most of the people had turned into Zombies.” Chris turned to
Brad. “That reminds me,” said Brad. “I was thinking about a trip to Europe.” “Why?”
asked Brad. “Because,” replied Chris. “That’s where the original Umbrella HQ is. And
maybe, we can stop them from making more monsters, since they created them.” “Good
idea,” agreed Brad. “Let’s tell the others.” They ran up to the S.T.A.R.S. Office on the
second floor. “You guys!” exclaimed Chris. Jill, Barry, and Rebecca looked up. “What?”
asked Jill. “We’re going to Europe,” replied Chris. “Why?” asked Barry. Chris looked at
Brad. “To stop Umbrella from creating these monsters,” replied Brad. “Since they
created them.” “I’m in,” said Rebecca. “Us too,” Jill and Barry said together. “All right
then,” said Chris. “Let’s pack our things.” Suddenly, the communications computer
turned on. “S.T.A.R.S.!” shouted Irons. “Zombies have entered R.P.D.!” “Where?” asked
Jill. “From the sewers, and from the cabin outside!” replied Irons. “Investigate!” “Okay
guys,” announced Chris. “Load your handguns and shotguns. They are the only guns we
need.” “Right,” the rest of them said together. Once they were ready, the ran out the door
and into the Main Hall. The Hall was almost deserted. There were four officers, and the
secretary. They ran through the single door by the main doors that led to the blue
hallway. Once inside, there were two officers shooting Zombies, and two more officers,
dead. Chris, Brad, Jill, Barry, and Rebecca all pulled out their handguns, and help the
officers kill the Zombies. “Are there anymore?” asked Chris. “No,” replied one officer.
“At least not here.” “There are more,” said the other officer. “These Zombies will
probably take over R.P.D. We can’t stop them now, due to Irons orders to hide the ammo
in several unknown places. Ten officers have already been killed trying to hid ammo in
the basement. There is very few ammo in that area.” “Looks like we should stay here
overnight, helping them,” said Brad. “Yeah,” agreed Chris. “I think you’re right.” The
remaining S.T.A.R.S. helped hide the ammo overnight, killing anything that got in their
way. But it was no use. The officers couldn’t hide anymore ammo. There were too many
Zombies in the basement, and still, more Zombies entered the building. The Zombies
were proceeding further into R.P.D., and injured twelve officers, in the last hour. “Chris,”
said Brad. “There are too many of them.” “Guys,” said Chris. “We have to get to Europe
now! Before it’s too late! We can’t use the Alpha Team’s helicopter, so we’ll have to get
the Bravo Team’s helicopter, or get a boat. “Our
copter’s broken,” said Rebecca. “We can’t use it.” “Then let’s get to the Seaport right
away,” instructed Chris. “Let’s go!” They had some trouble getting out of R.P.D.,
due to all the Zombies inside. There were only eight officers left alive. “Good luck!” one
of them said. Once outside, the S.T.A.R.S. had to dodge five Zombies. Then they ran
down the street. Suddenly, two mysterious creatures crawled towards them. “You guys
distract them, while me and Rebecca go through them,” instructed Chris. “Then we’ll
meet up at the Seaport. Barry, since you know how to handle guns well, go alone.”
“Right,” said Barry. “But Chris!” yelled Brad. “What about me?” “Don’t worry Brad,”
replied Chris. “Once they’re dead, meet us there.” “Okay,” said Brad. “Now!” yelled
Chris. Brad and Jill pulled out their shotguns and fired at the mysterious creatures. “Uh
oh!” yelled Brad. “I’m out of shotgun shells!” “Me too!” yelled Jill. “We’ve only got
handguns!” “Still,” said Brad. “Use them!” They pulled out their handguns and fired at
the creatures. After five shots, they died. “That was close,” said Brad. “Yeah,” agreed
Jill. “Now, let’s get to the Seaport!” “Wait,” said Brad. “What was that sound?” “Don’t
scare me!” yelled Jill. “No, really!” said Brad. Suddenly, two more creatures jumped
down from a building. “Uh oh!” yelled Brad. “I’m out of bullets!” “Me too!” yelled Jill.
“Let’s get out of here!” “Try to dodge them!” suggested Brad. Brad and Jill dodged the
creatures with success, but then one of them jumped on a streetlight, causing it to fall to
the ground. Then, a big fire started. “Jill!” called Brad. “What?!” asked Jill. “Climb on
top of a building to get around the fire!” yelled Brad. “I’ll try!” replied Jill. She quickly
climbed up a ladder on a building, then jumped down beside Brad. “That was another
close one,” said Brad. “Yeah,” agreed Jill. “Now,” said Brad. “Let’s get to the Seaport!”
It was only a couple of meters before they found Chris and Rebecca standing in front of a
big, crashed, truck. “There’s no way around,” said Chris. “We’re stuck,” said Rebecca.
Brad turned around. The creatures were getting close. “And,” said Brad. “They’re
coming for us!” Everyone turned and looked. “Uh oh,” said Chris. “Split up! That way,
they’ll get confused. We’ll all meet up in Europe. If you can’t find a way to get there, get
to New York! They have another S.T.A.R.S. branch there.” “Right,” they all said. “See
you there!” yelled Chris. Then, they said their ‘See you later’s’ and ran off in separate
directions. Back at R.P.D. the next day, the Zombies killed four officers, leaving four left
alive. Jill Valentine wandered the abandoned streets alone. “I wonder how everyone else
is doing,” she said to herself. “AAAHHH!!!” he heard someone yell. It was coming from
a restaurant. She ran to the nearest one and burst in. There was a man standing behind the
counter getting attacked by a Zombie. Jill was about to pull out her gun and help him, but
the Zombie bit him, and then he shook it off. “Ow!” he said in pain. Then he looked at
Jill and pointed a gun at her. “Freeze!” he shouted. “Wait, is that you Jill?” “Yeah,”
replied Jill. Then the man moved into the light. “Brad, you’re still alive?” “Yup, but I
was just bitten,” replied Brad. “Oh Jill, I don’t think I’ll make it to Europe! I’ll be a
Zombie before I get there. Have you seen Chris or Rebecca?” “No,” replied Jill.
“Listen,” said Brad. “You may think I sound crazy, but there is something out there. It’s
going around to kill all the S.T.A.R.S.” Brad was right. Jill did think he was crazy. But
when she though about it, she did think something was out there. “Listen, Jill,” said Brad.
“Get out of here. Before I turn into a Zombie!” “But-!” protested Jill. “Just go!” shouted
Brad, pointing his gun at her. “Alright,” said Jill. “But are you sure you’ll be okay?”
“Yeah, I’m sure,” replied Brad. “Okay,” said Jill. “I’m leaving.” And with that, Jill ran
out the door. Suddenly, something big jumped down from a building. It looked like
another Tyrant, but it was different. It had a weapon. A Rocket Launcher, Jill told herself.
The mysterious figure fired a rocket at Jill.
A helicopter was hovering over Chris. He was trying to get away from it, but no matter
how hard he tried, he couldn’t get away. Suddenly, someone dropped down from the
helicopter on a rope. Once the man was on the ground, he kicked Chris in the gut. Then,
the man pulled out a crowbar and hit Chris in the head with it. Hard enough to knock him
out. Then he picked Chris up and put him in the helicopter.
Jill ran down the street. The mysterious figure was chasing Jill. It seems that this creature
actually has a brain, Jill thought. It seemed pretty smart to her. Suddenly, three Zombie
appeared. They went after Jill, but they were too slow for her. As far as she knew, she
was the only S.T.A.R.S. left alive in the city, other than Chris, Rebecca, and Barry, if
they were still was alive. “I’ve got to get to Europe!” Jill said to herself. “Chris could
already be on his way there. I wonder how Rebecca’s doing. She’s pretty young, but she
made it this far. Rebecca was the youngest S.T.A.R.S. She was pretty good for an
eight-teen year old. Jill ran down the street to her left. Suddenly, she crashed into
someone. “Barry!” yelled Jill. “Quiet!” whispered Barry. “Something’s going around to
kill all the S.T.A.R.S.” “Yes, I know!” replied Jill. “It’s right over there!” Barry looked at
the end of the street. “What is that thing?” he asked himself. “I don’t know,” replied Jill.
“But that’s the thing.” “And why does he have a Rocket Launcher?” Barry asked again.
“I’ve never seen a creature with a gun.” “Well,” said Jill. “This guy actually has a brain.
Have you seen Rebecca or Chris?” “What about Brad?” asked Barry. “He was bitten by a
Zombie,” replied Jill. “Oh,” said Barry. “No, I haven’t.” “I hope they’re okay,” said Jill.
“I’m sure Chris is alive,” said Barry. “He’s a good S.T.A.R.S. Member.” “Let’s get
moving,” suggested Jill. “I’m sure that thing is looking for us. And he’ll have an easier
chance of finding us if we stay here.” “Right,” agreed Barry. “Let’s get to an alley.” They
ran down the rest of the street and turned to the right. After ten minutes, they found an
alley. “Hey,” said Jill. “What’s today?” “It’s Monday, September 28th, 1998,” replied
Barry. “That means,” said Jill. “Leon Kennedy arrives tomorrow! I’m sure he can help
us.” “That’s if he’s good enough,” said Barry. “I’m sure he’ll be a good cop!” exclaimed
Jill. “Maybe,” said Barry. Suddenly, a large figure broke through the fence. “It’s that
thing!” yelled Jill. And with that, they got up and bolted down the alley. “We’ve got to
get to Europe!” yelled Jill. “How?” asked Barry. “We’ll have to fly there, if we can’t get
to the Seaport,” replied Jill. They ran down the street. Suddenly, two Lickers jumped
down from another building. “Uh oh!” yelled Jill. “We’re in trouble!” They were trapped.
There was the mysterious figure behind them, with the Lickers in front of them. “Barry,”
said Jill. “Use your shooting rope to get on top of that building.” “Right,” agreed Barry.
They shot their ropes up to the top and flew up. “Now, let’s get back to R.P.D.!” shouted
Jill. “We can’t,” said Barry. “There are Zombie all over that area, and this new monster is
fast. He’ll catch us easily.” “Oh yeah,” Jill reminded herself. “We’ll try to get to the
Seaport.” Suddenly, two more Lickers jumped up on the same building. “RUN!!!”
shouted Jill. “More Lickers!” Once they were on a smaller building, they jumped down
on the road. “This is a nightmare!” shouted Jill. “And it’ll never end,” added Barry.
“Unless we nuke this city.”
Chris woke up. His vision was very fuzzy at the moment. “Wh-where am I?” he asked.
After a few minutes, he vision got better. He found himself in a prison cell. He checked
his utility belt. “Someone took all my weapons and crap!” he yelled. He looked around.
“This can’t be the Police Station or anywhere in Raccoon City, so I guess this is a
different place.” Suddenly, a door swung open. “Ah,” said a voice. “You must be Chris
Redfield of the Raccoon City Police!” “Who are you?” asked Chris. “And where am I?”
“Ah,” replied the man. “I knew you’d ask those questions. I’ve heard them a million
times. My name is Rick, and you’re in the Umbrella Head Quarters of Europe.” Looks
like I made it, Chris thought. “You!” shouted Chris. “Why do you need me?” “You’ll find
out soon enough,” replied Rick. “Will you take care of him?” He looked at a big man. He
opened the caged door and pulled out a crowbar. Suddenly, everything went black.
“Which way?” asked Jill. “I don’t know,” replied Barry. “I’ve never really used the
Seaport much.” “Pick one!” yelled Jill. “That big thing is getting close!” “Okay!”
shouted Barry. “Right!” They ran down the street to their right. “There it is!” exclaimed
Jill. “I see it!” yelled Barry. But they were out of luck. “There are no more boats!” yelled
Jill. “We’ll have to find another way to get there!” “That probably was the only way!”
yelled Barry, turning around. “Uh oh! It’s the Big Guy!” Jill turned around. “Oh no!
We’re dead!” The Big Guy shot another Rocket at them. “DUCK!!!” shouted Barry. The
rocket barely missed their heads. “It doesn’t get any closer than that!” yelled Jill.
Suddenly, he fired another rocket. It hit the ground two feet in front of them. “I guess it
can!” exclaimed Barry. Jill looked to her left. “Down that alley!” They ran through the
alley and came to another street. There was a cage over a hole in the ground. “Look!”
exclaimed Jill. “A manhole! Let’s get down it!” They carefully removed the cage and
climbed down the hole and into a tunnel. “That was close,” said Barry. “At least we get
to rest for a bit,” pointed out Barry. “But I can’t get any sleep right now!” yelled Jill. “Me
neither,” agreed Barry. “Let’s walk down that way,” said Jill, pointing. “Alright,” said
Barry. They walked down the tunnel for twenty minutes. “I think I can hear some water,”
said Jill. “We must be close to the sewers then,” said Barry. There was an opening at the
end of the tunnel. “It’s the sewers that run under R.P.D.!” exclaimed Jill. “If we can get
up to the S.T.A.R.S. Office, we’ll be able to get more ammo, and proper guns!” “Right,”
agreed Barry. “But there are Zombies and all sorts of other creature lurking around the
sewers! We’ll have to try to dodge them.” As they were jumping down into the sewer
water, some sort of poison dropped from the ceiling. Jill and Barry looked up. Giant
Spiders. “I hate spiders!” yelled Jill. “Bigger ones are worse!” “We’ll have to run past
them,” instructed Barry. “Let’s do it now then!” shouted Jill. They ran to the other end of
the sewers and ran through a caged door. There were more Giant Spiders on the other
side. Suddenly, five Zombies came up from the water. “Dodge them!” yelled Jill. Her and
Barry ran between them, and made it to the side with more spiders. “More spiders!”
yelled Jill. “Let’s get out of here!” And with that, Jill took off down the stream of water
and jumped onto the nearby ledge, leaving Barry behind. Barry chased after her. “She’s
afraid of most insects and spiders,” he said to himself, moving through the door on the
ledge. Jill was waiting at the end of the hall. “What took you so long?” she asked. “You
ran off,” replied Barry. “Oh, sorry,” said Jill. “I wonder how Chris is doing.”
Chris once again woke up. He was in total pain. That night stick he was beaten with was
brutal. If only I had my radio, he thought. I know the S.T.A.R.S. code, so I could call
them. But how could he get out of his prison cell? There was a guard sitting next to it. If
he could somehow attract him and knock him out, he could grab his keys and get into the
next room, which was where his items were kept. He gave the guard a little whistle. The
guard heard it, so he stood up and moved in front of Chris’ cell, eyeing him closely. Chris
walked towards the guard. “What do you want?” asked the guard. “Nothing!” yelled
Chris, grabbing the guard’s night stick and hitting him with it. After a couple of good
whacks, the guard was knocked out. Chris dropped the night stick and grabbed the guards
keys. He quickly unlocked the cell, and bolted for the door. There were two guards in the
room. “Hey!” one of them shouted. “Who are you?!” The other guard pulled out his gun
and fired at Chris, but he had already done a flip in the air, flying towards the guard.
Then with all his strength, he kicked the guard hard in the face, just enough power to
knock him out. Then Chris quickly picked up the guard’s gun and shot the second guard
in the head. “That was close,” he said to himself. He took the ammo out of the gun and
put it in his utility belt on the table. “Let’s see,” he said. “My radio, shotgun, handgun,
grenade launcher, US AR33, utility belt, and grenades!” Once he had all his stuff on him,
he pushed the following numbers on his radio. 94365. “Hello?” asked a voice. “Jill?”
asked Chris. “Chris!” exclaimed Jill. “Where are you? We’ve been worrying! How are
you?” “I’m fine,” replied Chris. “I’m in the Umbrella HQ in Europe.” “You made it?”
asked Jill. “Yeah,” replied Chris. “How’s the others?” “Well,” began Jill. “Barry’s here
with me, Rebecca’s missing and Brad-.” Jill stopped. “What about Brad?” asked Chris.
“Is he alright?” “Well, no,” replied Chris. “I’m sorry to break the news to you, but Brad’s
a Zombie.” Chris looked down. How could Brad become a Zombie? he asked himself.
I’ve known him for years, and I know he’s too quick to be bitten. Tears started flowing
down from Chris’ eyes. “Sorry,” Jill said through the radio. “Are you going to be
alright?” “Yeah,” sniffed Chris. Suddenly, the door swung open. “Uh oh!” yelled Chris,
hanging up on the radio and putting it back in his belt. “So!” exclaimed Rick. “You’ve
escaped from your cell. I must say, I’m impressed you could get out in such pain!” Chris
pulled out his handgun. “Stay away!” he yelled. “I mean it! Your stupid Zombies killed
my best friend! You’ll pay for this!” “Ah,” said Rick. “So you know what’s going on!
Yes, these monsters in Raccoon City are probably our best experiments!” “William
Birkin didn’t think so!” snapped Chris. “Well I do,” said Rick. “And I’m sure they’ll kill
you once they get here!” “NO!!!” shouted Chris. And with that, he shot Rick in the
stomach twice. “You really think you’ll win?” asked Rick. “Yes,” replied Chris, shooting
Rick in the head. “Well,” said Chris to himself. “He can’t stop me now.”
Jill and Barry ran through the sewers as quickly as possible, but they only made it to the
basement of the Police Station. There were two Lickers guarding the way. “Now what
Einstein?” asked Jill. “I don’t know,” replied Barry. “I know!” whispered Jill. “We’ll use
our shooting ropes to cling onto the ceiling, and then fly over the Lickers!” “Works for
me,” agreed Barry. “Let’s just hope they don’t jump.” “Ready?” asked Jill. “Now!” They
shot out their shooting ropes and swung over the Lickers. They jumped up, but Jill and
Barry had swung too fast. They detached their ropes, and ran up the stairs. “Be careful,”
Barry told Jill. “There could be Zombies around here.” “Don’t worry about me,” said Jill.
Chris ran down the halls of Umbrella HQ. Suddenly, he stopped in a room with five
Umbrella workers. One of them had a gun. “Take a seat,” he told Chris. Chris sat down
in the chair. “Now let’s begin,” said the Umbrella worker. “Hand over all your weapons.”
Chris put all his weapons on the table. “Don’t try anything stupid,” instructed the
Umbrella worker. “Otherwise, you’ll be stuck here for a very long time.” “That’s what
you think,” said Chris. “There are other S.T.A.R.S. Members that are on their way here.
Soon you’ll be dead.” “My you have a big imagination!” laughed the Umbrella worker.
“But it’ll be too late once they get here!” Chris looked down at his belt. His shooting
rope. If he shot it at the Umbrella worker, he could grab his gun. Chris fired it at the
Umbrella worker. “AAAHHH!!!” he screamed in pain. Chris pulled his shooting rope
hard. So hard, that it ripped out the Umbrella workers rib cage. Blood splattered
everywhere around the Umbrella workers. Chris grabbed his AR33 and shot all the other
workers. RRRRRRRR!!!! An alarm had went off. Uh oh, thought Chris. “Intruder on the
first floor! Intruder on the first floor!” said a voice over an intercom. Chris ran out of the
room and into a hallway. He could hear shouting coming from the end of it. “Hey!”
shouted a worker. “Stop right there!” Chris didn’t listen. He just ran through the door on
his right. He was in a two-story library. He ran down rows of books and up some stairs.
Then he hid behind a bookshelf. “He’s in here!” he heard a voice shout. Chris looked
down on the bottom floor of the library. There were two groups of ten guards. “How can
I get out?” he asked himself. Suddenly, someone fired at him. Chris didn’t realize that
someone had heard him. “There he is!” someone shouted. Then they all fired at him, but
he did a forward hand-spring to dodge the bullets. Then he ran down the middle. Bullets
flew past him as he was running. Up ahead, two big guards stood in front of him. “Stop
him!” shouted the guard below. Suddenly, more guards came up behind him, guns ready
and loaded. Suddenly, both of the big guards pinned him against the wall. Chris had only
one option right now. Surrender. He knew it was bad, but if he wanted to live, he would
have to. Besides, he would have another chance of escaping later. But he was wrong. The
guards put him back in his cell, no items, and with five guards this time.
Jill and Barry ran down the red hall at the top of the stairs. It was deserted, probably
because there had been Zombies in it before. Jill brought up that situation probably
because the windows were broken. They ran down to the end of the hall and went
through the door to the west office. Once they were through the door, they heard odd
footstep noises. “Zombies,” said Barry. “I know, because I’ve heard that sound maybe a
thousand times today and yesterday.” “So how do we get past them now?” asked Jill.
Barry just stood there for a few minutes, and finally, he came up with a plan. “We’ll go
up the stairs through that door over there,” said Barry, pointing to a door on the other side
of the hall. “It better work,” said Jill. “Let’s just stick with it,” said Barry. “Otherwise,
that “Big Thing” will come and get us.” They ran through the door, and climbed up the
stairs outside. Barry tried opening the door at the top. “It’s locked,” he said when he was
finished. “I don’t care if it is!” snapped Jill. “Open it!” “I can’t,” replied Barry. “Then I
will!” shouted Jill. And with that, she gave it a hard kick, and it swung open. “That’s how
you do it,” she told him. Barry just rolled his eyes. Jill looked around the hall they were
in. It was spooky. The windows were broken, and there was a complete mess. As they
came around the corner, Jill saw something really gross. “EEEEWWWW!!!!” she
shrieked. Barry looked down. There was a man on the ground, swatting crows that were
pecking him. Barry took a shot at them. They flew away, but not far. Jill looked down at
the man. “He stopped moving,” she said. “He was pecked to death,” said Barry. “That’s
gross,” said Jill. Suddenly, the building shook. “What was that?” asked Jill. “How am I
supposed to know!” yelled Barry. “SSSSHHHH!!!!” whispered Barry. “Do you hear
that?” Jill listened. There was the sound of loud footsteps outside where the helicopter
was. Jill looked through the window. The helicopter wasn’t there, but suddenly, it came
crashing down from the sky, creating a big fire around it. Then those loud footsteps came
again. “What is that?” asked Jill. But then, she suddenly realized what it was. “Let’s get
out of here,” she said. “Why?” asked Barry. “NOW!” snapped Jill. “But-” protested
Barry. “GO!” Jill shouted. But it was too late. The door at the end of the hall broke open,
and the Mysterious Figure walked slowly towards them. “See?!” yelled Jill. “Yeah,”
replied Barry. “Your right. Let’s run!” They ran down the rest of the hallway, and quickly
ran through the door, but left it opened. There were four Zombies walking through the
hall, so they had to quickly get into the Waiting Room, where they stopped to catch their
breath. “Is he gone?” asked Barry, panting. “I think so,” replied Jill, also panting. “We’re
almost at the S.T.A.R.S. Office,” said Barry. “Oh, good,” said Jill. “We’d better go.”
They ran through the next door and down a Zombie infested balcony, dodging every one,
and running through the door to the Library. “No Zombies in here,” announced Jill.
“Let’s keep going,” suggested Barry. “If you want to stay alive.” Jill nodded. As they
opened the next door, they came to a hallway with three Zombies. “If we can just get
through that door,” said Barry, pointing. “We’ll be safe.” “Why don’t you kill them?”
asked Jill. “I could,” Barry said with a smile. “Then do it soldier!” exclaimed Jill.
“Right!” agreed Barry, pulling out his shotgun. He got up and killed them all. “Too
easy!” spat Barry. “The only thing that will be hard to defeat,” said Jill. “Is that “Big
Thing.” “Yeah,” agreed Barry. ‘Well,” said Jill. “Let’s get to our Office.” They ran
through the next door, down the hallway, and into the S.T.A.R.S. Office.
“Guard?” asked Chris. “What do you want now?” asked the guard. “This better not be
another trick.” “No,” replied Chris. “This time I’m serious. Who’s the second leader?
You know, the guy second in command of Umbrella? Not Birkin.” “His name is Robert
Riley,” replied the guard. “And he wants to see you.” “Oh,” said Chris. “Now come on!”
yelled the guard. He yanked Chris out of his cell and moved him to the Main Office.
“Ah,” Robert said once he was inside. “You’re the one who snuck out of his cell! Your
the first person ever to. This guard tells me that you think you’ll win!” “That’s right,”
Chris said, acting confident. “Well,” said Robert. “They’re probably all dead. My
strongest creation has been sent over to Raccoon City this morning. I told him to kill all
the S.T.A.R.S. Members.” “What is it?” asked Chris. “I knew you’d ask,” said Robert.
“It’s something I called, Nemesis.” “Nemesis?” repeated Chris. “Nemesis,” replied
Robert. “The strongest creation of Umbrella!” “Does William know about it?” asked
Chris. “You think I’d tell him?!” yelled Robert. “He’d just disagree with it!” Chris
looked at the desk in the room. A fax machine. The S.T.A.R.S. Office has a fax machine,
he thought. He decided he would send a fax to S.T.A.R.S. Warning them about Nemesis.
“I need to use the fax,” said Chris.
“Hey!” exclaimed Jill. “Look!” Barry looked at the fax machine. “A fax is coming in.”
Jill picked it up. “It’s from Umbrella HQ Europe,” she said. “What’s it say?” asked
Barry. “ATTENTION ALL S.T.A.R.S.,” read Jill. “There is a new enemy. It will be the
hardest creature we have faced. NEMESIS.” “Nemesis?” Jill repeated. “That’s what it’s
called?” “Sounds like a spooky name,” said Barry. “This must be from Chris!” exclaimed
Jill. “We’ve got to get to Europe!” “How?” asked Barry. “There are Zombies crawling
through the city, and the Seaport has been destroyed!” “We’ll have to build a motorboat,”
said Jill. “There are boat parts in Storeroom L.” “Do you know how to build one?” asked
Barry. “Duh,” replied Jill. “Remember, I’m the Mechanical Expert on S.T.A.R.S.”
“Right,” said Barry. “Let’s hurry.”
“Okay,” said Robert. “Back to your cell.” The guard hit Chris in the back with his night
stick, then moved him out of the room. While they were walking back, Chris quickly
grabbed the guard’s night stick and hit him hard in the head, knocking him out. Then he
grabbed his gun, and ran down the hall. I know! thought Chris. If I can get to the
basement of this place, I can hide. Chris found a map of the building in the next hallway.
“Let’s see,” he said to himself. “The stairs in the next room lead down to the cells, so if I
go through the Library and go through the door on the other side, That should lead to a
hallway with many offices. In one of the offices, there’s a Ventilation Duct. That leads to
the Control Room Hallway, and if I follow that, It will lead to a room with stairs that lead
down to the basement. I just hope I can make it.”
Jill and Barry quickly loaded their belts and guns with ammo, then set off to Storeroom
L. They ran down the hall and through the door. Then they ran down the stairs and
through the next two hallways. As they came through the next door, they came to the last
room before the Main Hall. There were four Zombies in it. “Let me,” said Jill. She pulled
out her shotgun, and pumped lots of lead into them. They died after two shots each.
“What time is it?” asked Jill. “Almost midnight,” replied Barry. “I only wish there were
more S.T.A.R.S. here,” said Jill. “I can’t believe Umbrella would do something like
this,” said Barry. “Let’s keep going,” said Jill. They ran as fast as they could through the
Main Hall, and to the West Hallway. “Now what?” asked Jill. “There are many Zombies
in that room. We can’t possibly dodge them.” “I know,” said Barry. “We’ll jump up on
the desks and run.” “Let’s hope it works,” said Jill.
Chris ran through the Library as fast as he could, then he hid behind a bookshelf when he
came to the end. There were guards standing near the door he had to get through. He had
a gun, so he could kill them. The only problem was, other guards would probably hear
the shots. He decided he would only knock them out. He got up and ran at them. “Get
him!” one yelled. Chris gave him a hard punch in the head. “It’s you!” yelled the other
guard. Chris turned around and kicked him in the gut. Then he punched him in the back
of the head. “Goodnight boys,” Chris said once he was done. He pulled out the map.
“The hallway with many offices is next,” he said to himself.
Jill and Barry jumped up on the desks in the East Office. The Zombies tried to grab at
their legs, but they were running too fast for them. At the end, they quickly jumped down
and ran through the opened office door. “Quickly!” yelled Barry. “Through this door!”
Jill tried to open it. “It needs the Heart Precinct Key to open it!” she yelled. “Now
what?!” yelled Barry. “I’ll use my lockpicker!” exclaimed Jill. She picked the lock, and
opened the door. They ran through, and Barry slammed the door once they were on the
other side. “Zombies can’t open doors,” he said. “Especially the locked ones.” “Good
point,” said Jill. “I know,” agreed Barry. “Storeroom L is down in the Sewage Disposal,”
said Jill. “We’ll have to walk through more sewage water.” “That’s fine with me,” said
Barry. “But what if there are more spiders?” “I don’t care about them anymore!” shouted
Jill, acting brave. I think she will, Barry though to himself. Jill ran off, leaving Barry
behind again. “Wait, Jill!” yelled Barry. BANG!!! BANG!!! Barry ran around the corner.
Two Zombies lay on the ground. Jill was standing over them. “You thought that I
couldn’t handle them!” shouted Jill. “Well,” said Barry. “I know that you can now.”
“Good,” said Jill. “Now let’s keep going.” They ran down the stairs and stopped at the
bottom. “I hear something,” said Barry. “It sounds like something running.” BARK!!!
Jill looked down the hall. There were four Zombie dogs watching them. “Let’s kill
them,” said Jill. Barry moved beside Jill and pulled out his shotgun. Jill killed two of the
dogs, while Barry finished them off. “Now where?” he asked. “You obviously haven’t
been to Storeroom L before,” said Jill. “I don’t store guns there,” said Barry. “Oh,” said
Jill, looking to the right. “Down this way.”
Chris moved into the next hallway. “Hey!” yelled a voice at the end of the hall. Chris
looked at the man running at him. He had a silenced gun. Chris would just knock him out
and grab his gun. Chris ran up to the man and did a flip over his head. The man was a
little slow at turning, so Chris punched him in the head before he could call out for help.
The man fell to the ground. Chris grabbed his silencer, and dropped the guard’s handgun
on the man. “Thanks, buddy!” yelled Chris, and once again, he pulled out the map. “Now
let’s see,” he said. “The Ventilation Duct is through the fifth door to my right.” Chris
counted the doors on the right, and ran through the fifth one. “Hey!” yelled a worker.
“You don’t belong here!” “Sorry for breaking in,” said Chris, pulling out his gun and
shooting the man. “Hey, you!” shouted another man coming around the corner. Chris
turned and shot him too. Then he searched the lockers next to him. He found a little bit of
ammo, and a keycard. He looked up at the ceiling. The vent cage was closed over the
opening. He pulled a chair underneath it and carefully removed the cage, making sure he
made no sound. Otherwise, many people would hear the sound and send some guards. He
climbed through the opening and placed the cage over again. Suddenly, the door in the
room swung open. “Hey!” exclaimed a man. “Who killed them?” “Someone must’ve
escaped the cells,” suggested the other man. “I bet it’s that Redfield again!” Uh oh,
thought Chris. They know I’ve escaped. “Let’s go report it,” said one of the men. They
ran off, and Chris took a deep breath. “I’ve got to get out of here!”
Jill and Barry approached the kennel, where the manhole that led down into the sewers
was. Once they were inside, dogs in the cages tried to jump at them. The manhole was
already opened. “I wonder who opened it,” said Barry. “Who knows?” asked Jill. They
carefully climbed down the ladder and into the sewage water. Jill looked around the
corner. There were two giant spiders waiting there. “I’m going to blast them with my
grenade launcher,” Jill told Barry. He could only nod. “Get behind the wall,” instructed
Jill. “It’ll be quite a blast.” Jill fired two grenades at the spiders. A big explosion filled
the sewers. Jill had jumped around the corner just before the explosion hit her. She
looked around the corner again. There were no sign of the spiders. “They exploded,” said
Barry. “Anyone can see that,” said Jill. They ran through the sewers and up some
concrete stairs at the end. “That’s where we’ll jump in the boat,” instructed Jill, pointing
to the Septic Pool door. “We’ll build it in there.” They moved through the door leading
into Storeroom L and took the pieces they needed into the Septic Pool Room. “Let’s get
to work,” instructed Jill, throwing her pieces onto the ground.
Chris slowly walked through the Ventilation Duct, watching for guards that might be
inside with him. The Ventilation Duct was fairly big with many turns. As Chris came
around the corner, he saw a man looking around at the end. Chris darted behind the
corner, gun ready. But when he looked closely at the man’s face, he recognized it. “Dan!”
he whispered. The man looked at Chris. “Chris!” exclaimed Dan. “How’d you get here?”
“I was captured,” replied Chris. “How’d you get here?” “I’m working here,” replied Dan.
“All the Umbrella workers from Raccoon City had to come here, due to the renovations
of our plant south of Downtown Raccoon City.” “I see,” said Chris. “Did you escape
from your cell?” asked Dan. “I wouldn’t be talking to you if I didn’t,” Chris pointed out.
“Good point,” said Dan. “Where are the others?” “Back in Raccoon City,” replied Chris.
“Brad’s a Zombie, Rebecca’s missing, and Jill and Barry are trying to escape from this
thing called Nemesis, and come here to rescue me.” “Did you say, Nemesis?” asked Dan.
“Yes,” replied Chris. “They have a very, very, slim chance of escaping him,” said Dan.
“Why?” asked Chris. “He’s probably as dumb as a Tyrant.” Dan gave Chris a funny look.
“I wouldn’t say that, Chris. He’s very smart. He’s the smartest creature Umbrella has ever
created.” “That’s bad, isn’t it?” said Chris. “Very bad,” said Dan. “For you, that is. It’s
going around to kill all the S.T.A.R.S. Members it can find.” “What do I do then?” asked
Chris. “You’ll have to get out of here,” replied Dan. “And fast.” “How?” Chris asked
again. “I don’t know,” replied Dan. “But I’ll think of something.”
“There!” exclaimed Jill. “It’s finished!” The motorboat was finally finished. It was built
to fit four people, with a Sub-Machine Gun, a bullet-proof windshield, a steering wheel
with a brake and gas pedal, shocks, and suspension. On the side, Jill painted Raccoon
Police Dept. S.T.A.R.S. “What do you think?” she asked Barry. “It’s good for now,”
replied Barry. “Hop in,” said Jill. “We’ll start it from here.” Barry jumped in, readying
the Sub-Machine Gun. Jill jumped in the driver’s seat and turn the motor on. “You may
want to put on your seatbelt,” suggested Jill. “Why?” asked Barry. “Because this boat can
get up to 300mph,” replied Jill. “Good idea,” agreed Barry, putting his seatbelt on.
“Ready?” asked Jill. “Ready,” replied Barry. “Here, we, go!” exclaimed Jill, stepping on
the gas pedal. The boat broke through the metal bar, and hit the water. Jill drove at
50mph through the sewers when suddenly, Barry spotted something behind them.
“Nemesis is coming on it’s own boat!” yelled Barry. “Faster!” Jill sped up to 70mph.
Barry tried to shoot Nemesis, but he dodged his bullets. “He’s closing in! Faster!” Jill
was now going 100mph, and Nemesis was starting to fall behind. Barry fired at Nemesis
again, but Nemesis was too fast for the bullets. “It’s no use!” yelled Barry. “He’s too
quick!” Nemesis slowly started to close in. “He’s coming!” yelled Barry. “Faster!” Jill
sped up to 120mph. Suddenly, they came to a turn. “Do a sharp turn!” yelled Barry.
“Maybe he’ll hit the wall!” Jill tried Barry’s idea, but Nemesis was just too darn smart
for that trick. Suddenly, Nemesis’ boat sped up. “He’s coming in fast again!” yelled
Barry. “Faster!” Jill was now going 140mph. “Keep shooting at him!” she suggested.
“Maybe one bullet will hit him!” Barry tried Jill’s idea, but Nemesis had the ability to
duck, and all the bullets missed him. “He can duck!” yelled Barry. Nemesis sped up.
“Here he comes!” yelled Barry. “Faster!” The motorboat sped up to 155mph. “Use your
grenade launcher on him!” suggested Jill. Barry pulled out his grenade launcher and fired
a grenade at Nemesis. Water exploded everywhere. Jill stopped. “Is he alive?” Barry
looked down the stream of sewage water. “His boat’s tipped over,” replied Barry. “I
don’t see him.” “Looks like it’s dead then,” said Jill. Suddenly, Nemesis’ boat flipped up
and Nemesis jumped up on it. Then he sped up. “GO!!!” shouted Barry. Jill quickly sped
back up to the same speed, but Nemesis was angry, and was coming in very fast.
“Faster!” yelled Barry. Jill sped up to 163mph. Suddenly, they went off a little waterfall.
Still going the same speed, Barry saw Nemesis fly off the waterfall. “Keep firing
grenades!” yelled Jill. Barry fired three grenades at Nemesis. A huge wave of water flew
up, and Nemesis broke though it. “He’s still alive!” yelled Barry. “Here!” yelled Jill,
handing over a little computer console. “Try to jam his engine with it!” Barry started
pressing buttons on the console. “I can’t break into the engine’s system!” yelled Barry. “It
keeps saying ‘Access Denied’.” “How fast is Nemesis going?” asked Jill. Barry pushed
some buttons. “It’s going 162mph,” replied Barry. “Faster!” Jill sped the boat up to
170mph. Suddenly, an opening approached them. Jill drove the boat through.
“AAAHHH!!!” she screamed as the boat fell thirty feet before hitting the water.
Suddenly, Nemesis flew down, and Jill resumed speed. “We’re out in the ocean!” yelled
Jill. “Good!” Barry yelled back. “Now we can get to Europe!” “Is Nemesis still coming?”
Jill asked, slowing down. Barry looked behind him. “I don’t see him.” “I guess we lost
him,” said Jill. “Wait.” Something was beeping. Then a computer slid up in front of Jill.
There was a little light moving and flashing. “That light’s moving pretty fast,” said Barry.
“I wonder what that is,” said Jill. Suddenly, it struck Barry. He knew what it was. “LET’S
MOVE IT!!!” he shouted. Jill didn’t have to ask. She quickly resumed speed, and two
underwater bombs barely missed them. Suddenly, Nemesis surfaced in front of them.
“Turn around!” yelled Barry. Jill quickly turned around and sped in the opposite
direction. “He’s travelling 178mph!” yelled Barry, pushing buttons on the console.
“Faster!” Jill sped up to 182mph. “We’re going pretty fast!” she yelled. But it was no use.
Nemesis was coming in faster. Now travelling at 188mph, Nemesis pulled out his rocket
launcher. “He’s about to fire a rocket!” yelled Barry. “Faster!” Jill sped up to 195mph.
“Barry!” shouted Jill. “Get ready to jump! We’re really close to land!” Jill looked in front
of her. “Ready?! NOW!!!” She quickly turned the boat and they both jumped, landing on
a beach. They watch the boat stop, as it hit the sand. “Run!” yelled Barry, watching
Nemesis coming in fast. They ran up to the street and turned left. Nemesis’ boat flew in
the air and crashed into a building. Jill looked back at the area where Nemesis crashed. “I
think we’re safe from him right now,” she announced.
“Have you come up with a plan now?” asked Chris. “We’ve been standing here for ten
minutes, and you still haven’t come up with a plan!” “I know!” Dan finally said. “What?”
asked Chris. “It better be good.” “Don’t worry,” replied Dan. “Watch and see. Drop
down this opening.” Chris jumped down, and Dan followed. “Stop right there!” shouted a
man. “Tucker, where are you taking him?” “I’m taking him--,” Dan started. “Outta here!”
And with that, Dan killed both of them. “Why didn’t you just kill them?” asked Chris.
“Just to have a little fun,” replied Dan. “I see,” said Chris. “Wait a minute. Wasn’t there
another man with you back at the Mansion?” “Yes there was,” replied Dan. “Don’t you
remember? William Birkin. The man responsible for all of this.” “Where is he?” asked
Chris. “I asked if he was going to come,” replied Dan. “But he said he had to finish
something up. So he stayed at the Umbrella Underground Lab.” “Well,” said Chris.
“Where now?” “Through this door and to the left,” replied Dan. “But be careful. There
are more guards this way.” “Great,” said Chris. “That’s just what I need.”
Jill and Barry ran down the street, with Nemesis close behind. “I don’t believe this!”
yelled Jill. “How are we supposed to kill this guy?” “I don’t know if we can,” replied
Barry. “He’s really fast and strong!” Suddenly, a rocket exploded right behind them.
“WOAH!!!” shouted Barry. “That was pretty close!” “This way!” yelled Jill, grabbing
Barry’s arm and dragging him down the street to their right. After a couple of minutes,
they stopped. “Is he finally gone?” asked Barry. “I don’t know,” replied Jill. Suddenly,
something black quickly moved on top of a building. “Uh oh,” Jill said. “What?” asked
Barry. “He’s not gone,” replied Jill. “Oh,” said Barry. “Do you have any good news?”
“No,” replied Jill. Suddenly, another rocket exploded beside Barry. “AAAHHH!!!” he
screamed. “Let’s get out of here!” “Yeah,” agreed Jill. “I think your right.” They ran
down the street and turned into an alley. “We can’t rest!” Barry yelled. “He’s still
coming!”
Chris and Dan moved through the hall, knocking out anyone who got in their way.
“Which way now Einstein?” asked Chris. “Through the door on the right,” Dan replied.
“There should be some stairs at the end of the hall.” “Whatever,” said Chris. They ran
through the door and down the hall. There was no one there, so they ran all the way to the
stairs. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” asked Chris. “I know this place off by heart,”
replied Dan. “I see,” said Chris. They ran down the stairs and took the door on the right
at the bottom. As they came around the corner through the door, Chris heard a sound.
“SSSHHH!!!” he whispered to Dan. “What?” Dan whispered back. “Listen!” said Chris.
There was the sound of footsteps around the next corner. BANG!!! The sound of a
gunshot filled the area. “I know what type of gun that is,” said Chris. “Yeah?” asked Dan.
“What?” “It’s a regular handgun,” replied Chris. “Are you sure it’s a ‘regular handgun’?”
asked Dan. “I mean, couldn’t it be a custom handgun?” “No,” replied Chris. “I work for
R.P.D. We use guns all the time, so I would know about this stuff. A custom gunshot
would be more powerful.” “Well somebody really studies his guns,” Dan said with a little
snicker. “That’s not very funny,” Chris told him. “Sorry,” Dan apologized. Suddenly,
Chris saw a shadow move on the wall. Then he quickly jumped around the corner and
pointed his gun at the figure. “Don’t shoot!” a voice of a teenage girl shouted. “I’m not a
Zombie!” “Wait a minute,” said Chris. “That sounds like--” “Like Rebecca?” asked the
voice. “Right!” exclaimed Chris. “Your still alive?” “I’m not the worse cop ever,” replied
Rebecca. “If I’ve survived all that at the mansion and in the streets of Raccoon City, then
I must be a good cop.” “Oh,” said Chris. “How did you get here?” “Well,” began
Rebecca. “It all began back in Raccoon City, near the Seaport. I was running away from
this big monster, and then, all of a sudden, he left. Then I decided to go to the Seaport,
since you mentioned we’d need a boat to get to Europe, but as I was heading over there, I
saw you fighting a man who had jumped down from the helicopter hovering above him.
Then I saw him hit you on the head with a night stick, and then he dragged you up. I
noticed the sign on the helicopter marked, Umbrella. So I thought to myself, If I follow, I
could get to Umbrella HQ in Europe. And here I am.” “I have to say,” said Chris. “That is
what I call, ‘Smart Thinking’. “Thanks,” replied Rebecca. “How do we get out of here,
anyways?” “I’m just following Einstein here,” replied Chris, looking at Dan. “Would you
please stop calling me that,” said Dan. “I gets annoying, And I’m not as smart as him!”
“Whatever,” said Chris. “Dan!” exclaimed Rebecca. “How’d you get here?” Chris and
Dan looked at each other. “I’ll tell you later,” replied Dan.
Jill and Barry ran down Forest Rd. The road led to Raccoon Forest, where the Mansion
was, and where the old Power Facility was. “Who said we were going here?” asked
Barry. “I know I didn’t.” “Shut up,” replied Jill. “We’re going there because it’s safe far
away from the city Nemesis is in.” “What do we do if we see him?” asked Barry. “Fire
grenades at him,” replied Jill. “He can’t dodge close shots.” “But he’ll kill us if we get
too close!” yelled Barry. “Pipe down,” said Jill. “If we start shouting, he could hear it,
and we all die!” “Sorry,” apologized Barry. In the middle of the forest, there was another
road that led up the mountain and to the Facility. They ran 1km down that road until they
were stopped by two Lickers. “Ha!” Barry laughed. “They are puny things to me
whenever I have guns like these!” The Lickers crawled towards them, but before they
could attack, Barry blew them to pieces. “You see?” he asked Jill. “Well,” said Jill. “You
never know. You could get killed by one if your not careful.” “Good point,” agreed
Barry. They continued on, and stopped once they were at the bottom of the mountain.
“It’s a big mountain,” Barry pointed out. “Yeah,” agreed Jill. “Very big.” “So are we
going to climb up?” asked Barry. “No,” replied Jill. “We’ll take the road.” “Oh come on
Jill,” said Barry. “What’s wrong with a little rock climbing?”
Chris, Dan, and Rebecca ran through the basement. It was dark, and a little spooky.
Suddenly, Dan stopped at the end of a hall. There were two ways they could go. There
was a hall to the left, and another one to the right. “Well,” said Chris. “Where now?”
“Check your map for a sec,” said Dan. “Why?” asked Chris. “Did Mr. Einstein forget
where to go?” “I know my way around here,” replied Dan. “But I can’t remember which
door to go through.” “Fine,” replied Chris, pulling out the map. “Where do we want to
go?” “We want to go through the door that contains the hallway that leads to the
tramcart,” replied Dan. “It’s through the door on the left,” replied Chris. “I guess we go
through the left door then,” said Dan. “I’m just following you guys,” said Rebecca. Once
they were through the door, the ran down the hall and went through the next door. “What
the--” said Dan. They were in the room with the tramcart all right, but there was fire all
around the room, and everything was destroyed. “So how do we get out of here now?”
asked Chris. “I-I don’t know,” replied Dan. “Is there a computer linked to the engine
inside?” asked Chris. “There should be,” replied Dan. “Well,” said Chris. “Jill taught me
a couple of little tricks on how to start engines with computers a while back.” “Perfect,”
said Dan. Suddenly, two Evil Plants appeared from behind the tram. “Here comes
trouble,” said Chris. “You guys get inside and try to start it without me.” “What about
you?” asked Rebecca. “Don’t worry,” replied Chris. “I’ll make it.” “I hope you know
what your doing,” said Dan. “I do,” replied Chris. Dan and Rebecca ran inside the tram.
Chris pulled out his handgun and started shooting the Evil Plants, but the handgun was
not enough to kill them. Suddenly, the tramcart started moving. Then the side window
opened. “Chris!” shouted Rebecca. “Come on!” “Hold on!” Chris yelled back. The Evil
Plants were closing in on him, and there was no way around them, since they had long
vines. Suddenly, the tram shot down the tunnel. “Looks like I missed it,” Chris said to
himself. Instead of shooting the Evil Plants, he would kick them. He kicked one hard in
the stem. It fell backwards, but got back up again. “At least it gave a clearing for me,”
said Chris. He tried to run, but the second Evil Plant grabbed his leg and hauled him
down. Chris looked to his right. A Flamethrower. He quickly grabbed it and burned the
Plants down. Then he looked at the tunnel the tram disappeared in. “Sorry guys,” he said.
“I’ll have to find another way.”
Jill and Barry had started an argue. “We’re not climbing up!” shouted Jill. “What’s
wrong with it?!” Barry yelled back. “And besides, it’s easier for Nemesis to run up the
road!” Jill thought about that for a moment. “Very good point,” she told Barry. “I guess
we have no choice then. We’re climbing.”
Chris ran back to the bottom of the stairs. He had no idea what to do now. All he knew,
was that he should be careful. There were creatures attacking Umbrella. He decided he
would try to get to the parking lot. From there, if he was lucky that there was a driver, he
could drive to the Airport and sneak onto a plane. Or he could wait for another tram to
get here. He ran down the hallway and came to a steel door marked, “Parking Lot.” He
tried to turn the knob, but it was locked. Then he thought to himself, I need to get to the
Weapon Storage Room.
“This is hard for me!” yelled Jill. “How did Chris and Brad do it back at the Mansion?”
“I find it easy!” exclaimed Barry. They had already climbed halfway, probably because
the on Chris and Brad climbed was steeper. Plus, they had climbed through a storm.
“That’s it!” shouted Jill. She fired her shooting rope and shot up the mountain. Barry
watched her do so. “There she goes again,” he said to himself, firing his own shooting
rope.
Chris read the sign above the door. “Weapon Storage Room,” he read. Once he was
inside, he searched for some Timed Mines. When he opened the locker, he found just
what he needed. “Mine box!” he exclaimed. He quickly took some Timed Mines and ran
back to the Parking Lot door. “This outta do it!” he exclaimed. He placed a Timed Mine
on the door and ran back around the corner. BOOM!!! The door had been cleared away.
Luckily, no alarm had gone off. Chris moved through the door. There were plenty of cars
parked, but no one to start them. Chris hid behind a car and waited for somebody to
come. After ten minutes, somebody came to the door that was blown away. “This door
isn’t supposed to be like this,” he said. “I wonder how it was blown to pieces. Wait!
Maybe it was that Redfield again!” When the man came close to his car, Chris jumped
out and quickly punched him in the face. Then he grabbed his keys and got in the car.
“Thanks,” he said to the man laying on the ground. As Chris was exiting, something
dropped on the windshield. “Hey!” Chris yelled at the creature. Suddenly, the creature
turned it’s head and looked at Chris. “A Licker,” Chris said to himself. Suddenly, the car
turned and drove towards a wall. Chris jumped out of the car, and rolled to safety. The
car hit the wall hard, creating a big fire. “Well,” said Chris. “There goes that idea. Looks
like I’m stuck here for a long time.”
Jill and Barry reached the top of the mountain. As they approached the building,
something big jumped down from the top. “It’s him again!” yelled Barry. Nemesis pulled
out his rocket launcher. “LOOK OUT!!!” shouted Jill, grabbing Barry’s arm and pulling
him over to the door. Nemesis fired a rocket that hit the building, causing a giant fire. “I
thought you said we could lose him!” yelled Barry. “How was I supposed to know?!” Jill
shouted back. Suddenly, Nemesis picked them both up by the neck.
“Let’s.....k-kick.....him.....h-hard,” Jill barely got out. Barry could only nod. They kicked
him hard in the gut, but it wasn’t enough to knock out this guy. Then Nemesis held them
over the edge of the mountain. “Don’t....you....d-dare....throw....us....over!” Barry said,
choking. But Nemesis didn’t listen. He threw them both over the edge. “Think quick!”
yelled Barry. “What should we do?!” “I can’t think when I know I’m falling!” Jill yelled
back. “AAAHHH!!!”
“For some reason,” said Chris. “I feel like my friends are about to die.”
