Affirmation World Tour 2000
Intoxication...
On Tuesday, July 25, 2000 I saw Savage Garden's 2000 Affirmation concert held in Radio City Music Hall in New York City. To sum up the performance in one word, it was INCREDIBLE. The energy from the group (particularly Darren and Daniel, naturally) was intoxicating. The band seemed to feed off the audience's energy and excitement, which we in turn fed off of, until almost everyone was standing up and dancing to the music. It was like a huge party. The show lasted approximately 100 minutes, which flew by amazingly quickly. Darren's vocals are impressive live- not once did his voice crack during a high note. The duo also know how to be good performers, and were quite sexy with their tight leather pants and Elvis-like dance moves.
