Two worlds are colliding,
with a strength that will not die,
and the helpless souls within them,
cannot help but wonder why.
Past the point of no return,
you brace yourself for death,
and when the moment does arrive,
you’ll savour your last breath.
Truths that have been hidden,
will put you in withdrawal,
and lies that were concealed,
will reveal themselves to all.
You’re frightened with the dawning,
that the end is drawing near,
and you turn to those you love,
to abandon all your fear.
But the truth will overwhelm you,
and you’ll hang your head in shame,
when you see there’s no one there,
and no one but you's to blame.
Alone you face your fate,
and prepare your final flight,
you close your eyes and start to cry,
but you do not try to fight.
You wake up soaked in sweat,
the truth engraved in stone,
cherish those you love,
and you’ll never be alone.
