"Congratulations Vicki. Finally graduated huh?" said Jimmy
"Yep!" answered Vicki happily. "Now all I have to do is to find a job as a detective."
"Well, my graduation present for you Vicki, is a place at my detective department." said Jimmy giving Vicki a envelope which had Vicki's detective bandage in it.
"Ah! Jimmy! I love you!" said Vicki excitedly
"Calm down girl, or should I say boy?" teased Jimmy
"Oh shut up." said Vicki
"I agree with Jimmy, I mean, you do NOT look like the sister of a famous designer." said Nick
"Stop teasing her guys." said Ruby "She just dressed like a boy all these time because she's been way too busy with school. She never had time to go shopping. Right Vicki?"
"Yep, I'm going shopping the day after tomorrow with Ruby, Cecilia and Jolin." said Vicki
"Who's Jolin?" asked Jimmy
"She's my best friend aka my assistant for the store." answered Ruby "Oh yea, she is very cute and pretty..."
"Oh!" said Jimmy "Why isn't she here today?"
"She went to vacation with her parents. She'll be tomorrow." said Ruby
"So when do I start Jimmy?" asked Vicki
"Anytime, just dun take too long." said Jimmy
"Well, I gotta go shopping, catch up on my sleep, so I guess I'll go next week?" asked Vicki
"Sure no problem." said Jimmy
Meanwhile Nick and Ruby were too busy exchanging love words. Vicki saw it and said "Aw, soooooo sweet!" which made Ruby blush.
"So Nick, when is the big day?" teased Vicki
"Soon." answered Nick with a grin
"Why isn't Daniel and Cecilia here?" asked Nick
"Its their two year anniversary so they went out to celebrate it." explained Vicki "But I wish they are here with me right now."
"Aw, poor Vicki..." laughed Nick
"Shut up or else you'll get it." threatened Vicki "I AM a detective with skills."
"Okay, I surrender. But I AM a police with a gun." said Nick
"Well, me too in a week right Jimmy?" asked Vicki not giving up
"Yea yea yea, now stop with this nonsense. I dunno why, but everytime you guys get together, you always end up teasing eachother." said Jimmy
"If he wasn't my sister's boyfriend, I would of beat him up a LONG time ago." said Vicki
Nick was about to say something back to Vicki but was stopped by Ruby.
"Fine, I'll let you off the hook this time Vicki." said Nick

One week later:
"Vicki! wake up!" yelled Cecilia
"Wa? Let me sleep." murmured Vicki before trying to go back to sleep
"Oh no I'm not" said Cecilia "Jimmy is gonna be pissed if your late for your first day! You know how he is at work."
"Oh my god!" cried Vicki jumping down the bed "I have to go to work!"
"Finally got some senses huh?" said Cecilia "Now hurry up and get dressed. I mean, with all those cloths that you bought, a lot of guys are gonna try to woo you."
"Whatever, gotta hurry up or Jimmy's gonna kill me!" said Vicki before hurrying into the bathroom.
Twenty minutes later:
"Done!" announced Vicki proudly "Pretty fast huh?"
"REALLY fast." said Cecilia "We actually still have time left."
"And also, you look great in your white spaghetti strap and flare jeans." commented Ruby
"Thanks sis." said Vicki while picking up a piece of toast.
"Ruby, do you need a ride to the store?" asked Cecilia
"Nahz, Nick is gonna pick me up before going to work. Thanks anyways." said Ruby
"Ooo..." said Vicki and Cecilia together in a teasing tone.
Arriving at the detective department:
"This place is big, I mean HUGH." said Vicki looking at the building
in front of her. "How do you find your ways around here?"
"Dun get scared by the size Vic, you'll get used to it after a while." said Cecilia "Now, come on, Jimmy and Daniel are waiting for us."
'knock knock'
"Come in." said Jimmy
"Hello Jimmy, I mean LIN SIR." said Vicki
"Right on time." said Jimmy looking at his watch "Now I want to tell you some things first."
When Jimmy was about to continue, someone knocked the door of Jimmy's office.
"Come in." said Jimmy
Vicki saw a very cute guy walking into Jimmy's room.
"Um, Lin Sir, I just receive a mysterious call saying that they know someone sneaking illegal drugs into the country." said the guy
"Really? Did you record the phone call Alec?" asked Jimmy seriously
'So his name is Alec huh' thought Vicki
"Yes sir, I did. Here it is." said Alec before giving Jimmy a tape.
"Very well." said Jimmy as he took the tape from Alec. Turning to Vicki, Jimmy said "Vicki, Cecilia and Daniel will show you your work place first. I'll talk to you later cuz first I have to sort out somethings with Alec."
"Yes Sir!" said Vicki professionally
While walking to her work place, Vicki said "Wow, I never saw Jimmy acting so serious before."
"You have no idea." said Cecilia
"Yea, he acts completely different when he is at work." said Daniel
"But ya noe, we are used to it." said Cecilia
"He is a good detective." said Daniel
"Wellz, this is where you'll be working." said Cecilia arriving at a office. "If you need anything, just call me next door."
"Although I dun think you'll have any question yet since you just arrived here." said Daniel "See ya later."
"K, see ya guys later." said Vicki
About fifteen minutes later Jimmy called Vicki's office and told her to be in his office.
"Sir, you need me?" asked Vicki walking into Jimmy's office.
"Yes Vicki, I know that is your first day but we got a new case on hand." said Jimmy "Its the illegal drug case that Alec just told me when you were here a few minutes ago."
"Oh." said Vicki
"You'll be working with Alec, Cecilia and Daniel on this case." said Jimmy "Dun worry, just do your best to try to solve the case."
"Okay, no problem. But aren't you going to give me some info first?" asked Vicki
"Of course, here is the file. Can you give these three files to the others?" asked Jimmy
"Yea sure." said Vicki before walking out of Jimmy's office
'knock knock'
"Come in." said a voice
Walking in, Vicki asked "You are detective Alec right?"
"Yes I am, and please call me Alec." said Alec
"I just want to give you this file that Lin Sir told me to bring you." said Vicki as she hand Alec the file.
"Thanks. And may I know your name?" asked Alec
"My name is Vicki and I'm new here." answered Vicki
"Oh, do you want to meet together at the cafe to talk about the case during lunch break with Cecilia and Daniel?" asked Alec
"Sure." answered Vicki "I guess I'll see you later then."
'What a nice guy' thought Vicki to herself
After giving Daniel and Cecilia the rest of the files, Vicki went back to her office looking over her own file.
"It's not as complicated as the ones that we worked on before." said Daniel
"Yea, I agree." said Cecilia
"What about you?" asked Vicki seeing Alec was being very quiet.
"Ugh... It's okay actually. Except we have to do some under covering this time." said Alec "We don't have any evidence against this person yet."
"Oh yea, I did some research on the guy that the mysterious person described." said Daniel "His name is Nicholas Tse and he is a wealthy businessman."
"Great, me too and I've got the same person." said Vicki
"What's the under covering about?" asked Cecilia
"Jimmy said that us four will attend Nicholas' ball next week as couples." said Daniel
"Huh?" asked Vicki
"Just to see how he looks like. And if we're lucky, try to become friends with him." explained Daniel
"Oh... dun we need a invitation though?" asked Vicki
"Dun worry about that, Jimmy took care if it already." said Alec "I'll be Mr. Su from the Su enterprise and you'll be my girlfriend while Daniel is my business partner and Cecilia as his date."
"Cool, this is my first case and it's already getting fun!" said Vicki happily
"Dun get happy too soon cuz under covering ain't a easy thing. And if they find out about it, your life might be in danger." warned Cecilia
"Yep." agreed Daniel
"So what time next week?" asked Alec
"I think it will be Wednesday." said Daniel "So between now and then, we have to do some investigation about that Nicholas person and his background."
"True." said Cecilia "How about we meet at me and Vicki's house tonight?"
"Sure, I'm in. How about you Alec?" asked Daniel
"I guess." answered Alec
"Okay, everything its set for tonight. We better go back now cuz our lunch break is almost over." said Vicki
After paying the bills, the four people went back to their detective department.
In Cecilia's office:
"Sup Ceci?" asked Vicki as she walked into Cecilia's office.
"Nothing much." answered Cecilia
"I'm done with my work for the day so I just came here." said Vicki
"Great, I just have to finish this thing and we could go home. Just wait here for like ten minutes." said Cecilia not taking her eyes off of some paper that are lying on her desk.
Vicki walked around Ceci's office and suddenly ask "How come Alec is so quiet?"
Cecilia looked up and grinned. "You DO notice it huh?"
"Yes I do and please dun think about match making. He just doesn't talk much." said Vicki
"Alec isn't as quiet as you think Vicki. He just acts like that when he is thinking about a case." said Cecilia "He has one thing in common with Jimmy. See, Jimmy acts all serious and stuff while at work and when he is not working, he is mad playful. Same with Alec, when he has a case on hand, he is very serious and puts his full attention on that case. When he doesn't have a case, he is playful as Jimmy."
"Ooo..." said Vicki
"Exactly." said Daniel walking into Cecilia's office "So really to go girls? Alec is really."
"Yep, I'm done." said Cecilia closing her files
"Alec has to go home and change before he come to your house." said Daniel
"Change?" asked Vicki
"Yes change, he doesn't exactly like wearing shirts, ties and pants. He likes to wear ya noe, t shirts and jeans." said Daniel
"Ooo..." said Vicki "You two knows a lot about him dun you?"
"So does Ruby, Jimmy and Jolin." said Cecilia "You just dun know cuz you were always at school."
"Okay. Come on let's go." said Daniel
At Vicki's house:
"Daniel just sit while I go get you a coke." said Cecilia after
"Being so thoughtful towards your boyfriend huh?" teased Vicki
"Yea, so what if I am?" asked Cecilia
"Ugh....." said Vicki "Fine fine, I got nothing to say. Ugh, I hate it when that happens."
"Ha ha, got you there." laughed Cecilia before sticking her tongue out like a four year old
Daniel just smiled
"You can get your boyfriend anything you want. But I'm going to change." said Vicki as she walk into her bedroom
'ding dong'
"Daniel, can you get the door?" asked Cecilia from the kitchen.
"yea sure no problem." said Daniel
Opening the door, Daniel said "Wow, that was fast Alec."
"Didn't want you guys to wait." said Alec
"Just sit. Cecilia is getting everyone a drink while Vicki went to change." explained Daniel
"Hi Alec, here are the drinks." said Cecilia
"Hey Alec, that was fast." said Vicki walking out of her bedroom wearing a tank top with shorts.
"He didn't want us to wait." answered Daniel for Alec
"Let's start researching." said Cecilia
After three hours of nonstop researching, they finally stopped.
"Phew, I never did any research for THAT long." said Vicki "This is not as easy as I thought it'll be."
"Of course not." said Alec finally looking up from his laptop.
"At least we got a lot of information to show Jimmy tomorrow." said Daniel
"True." said Cecilia
"Guys, I'm home." said Ruby walking in the house with Nick
"Hey Ruby, hey Nick." greeted Alec
"Sups buddy?" asked Nick
"Nothing much. Just working on a new case with them." said Alec
"Aw, Vicki's first day of work and already got a BIG case huh?" teased Nick
"Ruby... your boyfriend is starting with me again." said Vicki "I'm not in the mood right now."
"Fine, I'll give you a day off. How's that?" asked Nick
"Thank you mister." said Vicki
"OMG! Vicki said 'thank you' to me!" exclaimed Nick sarcastically.
"SHUT UP!" yelled Vicki
"Just ignore then Alec. They are always like this when they see each other." said Ruby
"yea, this is actually one of those good times." said Daniel
"I guess I'll have to get use to this from now on." joked Alec
"Hey!" said Vicki
"Want to stay for dinner?" asked Ruby "I just came back from the supermarket with Nick
"Sure." said Daniel
"Of course. I am famished after all those research." said Alec rubbing his tummy
"Great! Vicki, call Jimmy and Jolin will you?" asked Ruby
"okay okay." said Vicki
So Vicki called up Jolin and Jimmy while Ruby cooked with Cecilia. The guys were watching a football game in the meantime.
Day before the ball:
"Vicki, Jimmy just called to tell us that dun have to go to work today." said Cecilia peeking her head into Vicki's room
"Really? Why?" asked Vicki
"He just said that to get ready for tomorrow's ball." said Cecilia who threw herself on Vicki's bed
"Cool, what about Daniel and Alec?" asked Vicki
"Hey have to go to work." said Cecilia smiling
"A ha." said Vicki "So what do we do today?"
After five seconds, both girls screamed "Shopping!" at the same time.
"Of course, I mean, I dun have a gown." said Vicki
"I've got a dark purple one but ya noe..... getting another one wouldn't hurt." said Cecilia
"yea yea yea, Mrs. Shop your head off." teased Vicki
"Where should we go?" asked Cecilia
"How about Roosevelt Field?" suggested Vicki
"Sure, I heard that is a big mall." said Cecilia "Meet me in the living room in five minutes kk?"
"K K" answered Vicki
At the mall:
Both girls went to stores after stores but couldn't find anything they like.
"Let's go in there" said Cecilia pointing at a shop
"Okay." said Vicki before Cecilia dragged Vicki into the store
"Damn, they got nice gowns." commented Vicki
"yea, I'm gonna try on this one, and this one, and that one." said Cecilia taking a million gowns at a time
"Slow down girl." laughed Vicki while picking out three gowns to try on.
"Let's head the fitting room" said Cecilia trying to stand on her two feet with zillions of gowns
"We HAVE to." said Vicki pointing at all the gowns that Cecilia is carrying
The girls changed into gowns after gowns and finally Cecilia settled in a pearl colored one piece tub top gown that touches the floor, with laces in the back. Vicki on the other hand chose a black gown. It is long like Cecilia's and also has laces in the back. Except that her gown has a lil decoration. There are little silver decoration on the bottom of her dress which made the gown look elegant as ever.
"Daniel wouldn't be able to talk when he sees you tomorrow Ceci." said Vicki walking out of the store after paying.
Blushing, Cecilia said "Look who is talking. Alec would melt after he sees you."
"Nah, I mean, we have been working for a week already and I dun even think he sees me as a girl." said Vicki
"That's because we were too busy doing researches." said Cecilia "Come on now, let's look for shoes."
After two more hours of non stop shopping, the girls finally decided to go home.
"I never shopped like this before." said Vicki "That was fun!"
"Yea, we should do this more often." said Cecilia as she dropped her million and one shopping bags on the floor.
"No no, that ain't what I meant." said Vicki "I would of went to Ruby's store if her store actually sell gowns.
"I know, me too." said Cecilia

The next day:
'ding dong'
After the door opened Daniel's eyes grew wilder "WOW!"
"Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment." said Cecilia blushing
"Where is Vicki?" asked Alec after laughing at Daniel for the way he acted
"Oh, Ruby is just doing some finishing touch on Vicki's hair." explained Cecilia "Just wait in the living room in the meantime."
"Guys, I'm ready." said Vicki walking out of her room
"V...V...icki." said Alec looking stunned which made Daniel and Cecilia cracked up.
"And you were laughing at me?" said Daniel in between laughs "Look at yourself in the mirror."
"Alec, are you alright?" asked Vicki has she move her hand back and forth in front of Alec's face
Snapping back to reality, Alec said "Ugh.. sorry."
"Really to go ladies?" asked Daniel
"Yep." answered both Vicki and Cecilia
While Daniel was driving with Cecilia in the front, and Vicki talking to Cecilia, Alec was too busy looking at Vicki.
'I never thought Vicki could be so beautiful' thought Alec 'I mean, her eyes, her body, her attitude, its perfect.'
"YO ALEC SU!!!" yelled Daniel
"What?" screamed Alec "What are you yelling for? Just drive the damn car."
"We were here like two minutes ago. Oh yeah, you were too busy looking at Vicki to notice huh?" teased Daniel
'uh o, this is embarrassing' thought Alec "Sorry."
Daniel and Cecilia laughed while Vicki and Alec blushed.

"There is Nicholas!" said Vicki so only Alec, Daniel and Ceci could
here.
"Yep, let's go up there and introduce ourselves." said Daniel
Walking up, Alec greeted "Hi Mr. Tse, my name is Alec Su and I am the president of the Su's enterprise. I heard that your doing so well in the business world and would like to work with you."
"Hi Mr. Su, it's nice to meet you." said Nicholas Tse shaking hands with Alec
"Let me introduce these people." said Alec "This is my girlfriend Vicki Zhao (putting his hands around Vicki's slim waist)" Turning to Daniel "This is Daniel Chan and he is my business partner and the lovely lady with him is his girlfriend Cecilia Cheung."
"Nice to meet you all." said Nicholas "Let me introduce you guys to my wife too." Turning to a lady near him, he said "GiGi dear, I would like you to meet some new friends of mine."
"Coming" said GiGi
"This is my wife GiGi Tse." said Nicholas
"It is a honor to meet you Mrs. Tse" said Vicki
For a while, Alec and Daniel were chatting with Nicholas while Vicki and Ceci talked with GiGi before Nicholas excused himself.
After GiGi and Nicholas was out of their sight, Alec said "He doesn't look so bad at all."
"Yea, I agree" said Daniel
"His wife is so nice. It is hard for me to believe that they are actually doing illegal drugs." said Cecilia
"Well, we better keep our eyes on them for the rest of ball." said Daniel
"Yes." said Vicki "But you know what? I've got this idea."
"What is it?" asked Daniel
"What if HE wasn't doing illegal drugs. What if maybe one of his worker is and was using his company's name?" said Vicki "It's just a guess."
"That IS a possibility." said Daniel
"But we still should be careful. You noe, just in case." said Cecilia
"In the meanwhile, how about a dance?" asked Daniel
"Sure." answered Cecilia taking Daniel's hand before heading to the dance floor
That leaves Vicki and Alec standing there feeling totally awkward.
Alec broke the silence by asking "Can I have this dance?"
"Why of course." said Vicki acting all formal before they both laughed
A slow music was on and Vicki put her arms on Alec's shoulder while Alec put his hands around Vicki's waist. They enjoyed eachother's company very much but its disappointing because they ARE working on a case.
For the rest of ball, the couples danced and talked with Nicholas and GiGi.
After the ball, they headed back to Cecilia and Vicki's house.
Daniel and Alec walked the ladies to their door. Daniel gave Ceci a kiss on the lips and left. Cecilia went back into the house leaving Vicki and Alec.
"Good night, I had a great time." said Alec
"Yea me too." said Vicki
"Better go back now since we still have to go to work tomorrow." said Alec smiling
"Okay, bye then." said Vicki turning around
"Wait!" said Alec
"yea?" asked Vicki
Giving Vicki a VERY fast kiss on the lips, Alec said "Ugh, sweet dreams." before running back his car.
Vicki smiled before Cecilia came out of the house and said "Aw, that was so... romantic and not to mention FUNNIE!"
"I'll get you for this." said Vicki tickling Cecilia
"Okay, I'm sorry, sorry, SORRY!" screamed Cecilia since she is very ticklish.
"THAT should teach you a lesson." said Vicki "Now, let's go to sleep before we wait Ruby up."
"Nighty night." said Cecilia
"Sweet dreams." responded Vicki
Alec was trying to settle his thoughts on the case when the phone rang.
"Hello?" said Alec
"Mr. Su?" ask the person on the other end of
the line
"Yea, it is I. Who is this?" asked Alec
"Hi Mr. Su, it's Nicholas Tse." said Nicholas
"Hi Mr. Tse!" exclaimed Alec "How are you?"
But in the meantime Alec thought 'Oh no, if he knows my WORK phone number, he must of know that I'm a detective. Great work Alec, two days after you meet the suspect and already, the suspect knows your identity.'
"You must of know how I found our your phone number." said Nicholas
"As a matter of fact, I am." said Alec
"Well, I did some research on you after the ball two days ago and I found out that you are a detective." said Nicholas "That's why I want to contact you as soon as possible."
"Why is that?" asked Alec knowing the answer already
"Because I know that you probably think that I'm doing illegal drugs." said Nicholas "But I'm not."
"What?!" asked Alec
"Can we like have dinner sometimes soon and I'll tell you what I know about it?" asked Nicholas
"Sure, when?" asked Alec
"If you are not busy, how about tonight?" suggested Nicholas "And bring your fellow detectives along"
"Okay, tonight at seven. Pearl Restaurant." said Alec before saying good bye to Nicholas
'I better tell Jimmy and the rest about this' thought Alec as he walked toward Jimmy's office

"Hello?" said Vicki
"This is Lin Sir, please report to my office now." ordered Jimmy over the phone.
"YES SIR!" said Vicki

In Jimmy's office:
"I called you guys because Alec received a call from Nicholas Tse" explained Jimmy before Vicki, Daniel and Cecilia goes "what!"
"Yes, he did. You four will have dinner with him and his wife tonight at seven in Pearl Restaurant." said Jimmy "Nicholas Tse claimed that he knows something about the illegal drugs."
"YES SIR!" said everyone
"Oh yea, before you guys leave. Please record everything that goes on during dinner without Nicholas and GiGi knowing it, alright?" said Jimmy
"Why don't you come with us?" asked Vicki "I mean, Nicholas knows that we are detectives already."
"I have to do a favor for your sister." said Jimmy with a annoyed face "As a model!"
Of course, everyone cracked up.
"Oh shut up, I have to wear her newly designed male suits while she snap pictures all over me." said Jimmy "Ugh!"
"Good luck LIN SIR." laughed Daniel
"Lotz" added Cecilia "We better get out now."

Later that night:
"Thank you all for coming." started Nicholas as everyone got
themselves in a seat.
"My husband is going to tell you guys everything he knows about the illegal drug business and hope you can help him." said GiGi
"No problem." said Daniel
After everyone ordered, Nicholas said "It all started two months ago when I received a document about the illegal drugs. I didn't make a big fuss about it because one of my worker Zhou Jie told me that its probably wrong address or something. But I didn't believe him since the name was my company's name so I locked that document up in the safe which was in my office. Then I found out that it was missing, so I looked in Zhou Jie's office one day after everyone left to go home and I found that document in his office. I didn't take it out of his office cuz if I do that, he'll probably think that someone is onto him."
"I see, so you suspect him doing illegal drugs with your company's name?" asked Cecilia
"Yes, now I'm asking you for help." said Nicholas
"Of course we'll help you." said Vicki
"For now, just keep it low and don't tell anyone that you are keeping in contact with the detectives." said Alec "And tell us any new information if you find any."
"I'll do that." said Nicholas
"And thank you so much for helping us." said GiGi
"Nahz, its our work." said Alec
"Yea." agreed Vicki
For the rest of the dinner, the six people chatted
happily and became friends.

"Ruby!" said Jimmy as he stepped into Ruby's Fashion
"May I help you?" asked Jolin
Seeing the most beautiful and the cutest girl, Jimmy said "I'm looking for Ruby."
"Ah, you must be Jimmy." said Jolin who thought Jimmy was VERY cute
"Yes I am. Do you know where she is now?" asked Jimmy
"She just had to go out to get something. She'll probably be back in five minutes." said Jolin
"I see, I'll just wait then." said Jimmy
Then Jimmy and Jolin started to chat and find themselves attracted to eachother.
"I see you are flirting with my best friend huh?" teased Ruby as she came in the store
"Well, its your fault. You ask for a favor and now your late." said Jimmy
"But if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have the chance to meet this beautiful friend of mine would you?" teased Ruby once again
"Can you just get to work?" asked Jolin trying to hide her blushing face
"Fine. Lin Sir would probably arrest me soon if I dun stop teasing him." said Ruby
"You are a police?" asked Jolin curiously

"Cool." said Jolin "Come on, let me show you where you'll be changing." before walking away with Jimmy leaving Ruby standing there alone
"Leaving your best friend alone huh?" said Ruby to herself "If that's what you want, fine with me." grinning mischievously
"What is my girlfriend thinking of?" asked Nick popping out of nowhere
"Hey where did you come from?" asked Ruby
"Well, I walked out of my police station, drove here and I'm standing in front of my girl." joked Nick "Now answer my question."
"Its really nothing, just want to play a lil matchmaking with Jimmy and Jolin." said Ruby
"O, this is gonna be fun huh?" said Nick
"You'll see." said Ruby grinning
"What do you guys think?" asked Jolin as she walked toward Nick and Ruby with Jimmy in his new outfit.
"Very nice." commented Nick
"I think I need a female model with this hunky guy." said Ruby "Jolin, come with me for a second."
"Do you know what she is up to?" asked Jimmy after Ruby and Jolin walked away.
"Yes I do." answered Nick
"Well, can you please tell me?" asked Jimmy
"Let me think....." said Nick acting like he is thinking very hard and said "I dun think so."
Jolin came out of the fitting room wearing a very sexy dark blue dress which made Jimmy..... well, he can't exactly stand straight.
"you... you.....look... you look awesome." said Jimmy
Blushing, Jolin said "Thanks." and gave Ruby a 'I'll get you later' look. Ruby just ignored her and said to Jimmy "Jolin with be taking pictures with you."
Jimmy was happy but decided not to show it.
After one hour of taking pictures, Jimmy and Jolin was tired. Not to mention, both wants to kill Ruby for what she did. Ruby kept on moving Jolin and Jimmy closer and closer. For one of the picture, Jolin had to sit on Jimmy's lap and pretend to kiss Jimmy on the lips! Nick was busy laughing his head off while all that was happening.
"I can't wait for these pictures to come out!" exclaimed Ruby happily
"And I can't wait until I get my hands on you." murmured Jolin to Ruby's ears
After Jimmy and Jolin changed, Jimmy can't help himself but to ask Jolin out.
"Ugh, Jolin?" said Jimmy
"Yea?" asked Jolin
"I know that we just met, but would you like to go to a movie with me?" asked Jimmy crossing his fingers.
"Sure. Just wait a sec cuz I've got to get my purse." said Jolin
"No prob." said Jimmy while thanking god for Jolin's answer
After Jimmy and Jolin left, Ruby said "Well, my plan had worked"
"And I can't help myself to love this naughty girlfriend of mine." said Nick before giving Ruby a kiss on the lips.
Smiling, Ruby said "Come on, I'm hungry. How about coming over or dinner?"
"Just the two of us?" asked Nick
"Sure..." answered Ruby
"Hello." said Vicki
"Hi Vicki, its GiGi." said the person on the other end of the line
"Hi GiGi!" said Vicki getting excited "What's up?"
"Well, me and Nicholas found out some things and would like to tell you." said GiGi "But now, everywhere we go, we feel like we're being followed."
"Dun worry." said Vicki "I've got an idea. I'll meet you with Cecilia at the mall in like an hour so 'those' people wouldn't get suspicious."
"Good idea. I'll meet you at the mall then."
said GiGi "Bye!"

"Ceci, let's go to the mall in an hour." said Vicki sitting down.
"THE MALL?! Are you out of your mind? We are working on a case for god's sakes!" shouted Cecilia
"Calm down girl. We are going there to meet GiGi." said Vicki "Since she thinks that people are following her and Nicholas, we could like just shop with her to get less suspension from whoever is following her."
"Oh! You scared the hell outa be like a minute ago." said Cecilia "I thought you are turning crazy from all these work."
"Shut up, I'm a lot better than you think." said Vicki "Let's tell Jimmy now."
"Okay."

At the mall:
"Cecilia, Vicki! Over here." cried GiGi
Walking up to her, Vicki said "Hi Gi!"
"Let's just act normal and start shopping while you tell us what you found out." said Cecilia
"Yea. Alec and Daniel are around here somewhere to look out for us." said Vicki
"Anyways, Nicholas received all call from this person, and told him that the ship is going to arrive at 12 o'clock am tomorrow." explained GiGi
"He didn't tell Nicholas who he was?" asked Vicki
"Nope, that person probably thought he was talking to Zhou Jie because he first said 'Hi Zhou Jie' and without getting an answer from Nicholas telling him that he is NOT Zhou Jie, he just start talking about where and when the ship is going to arrive." said GiGi
"I see." said Cecilia pretending to pick out an outfit
"Does Zhou Jie know about that phone call yet?" asked Vicki
"Yes, Nicholas wrote down everything and gave it
to Zhou
Jie. That's probably why Zhou Jie think that we know everything and hired people
to follow us around." said GiGi trying on a black skirt
"Okay, just tell us when and where is the ship
going to arrive and we'll take it from there." said Cecilia
After GiGi told Vicki and Cecilia the place and time, Vicki said "Where is
Nicholas now?"
"He is in his office." answered GiGi
"Good, I'll send two bodyguards to stay with him AND you so you guys can be safe." said Vicki
"Thank you Vicki and Cecilia." said GiGi
"No worry about it. Let me drive you to Nicholas'
office now." said Cecilia
With that, the three girls went to Nicholas' office
"Hi Alec. It's me, Vicki." said Vicki over the phone
"Hey! What's up?" asked Alec wondering why Vicki called him the night before her first mission.
"Ugh, I'm sorta of bored and nervous about tomorrow's mission...." said Vicki "And, both Cecilia and Ruby went out with their boyfriends."
"Let me guess, you want me to come over or something?" asked Alec hopping for a 'yes' as a answer.
"Sorta. I was thinking about a movie, but no one can go with me." said Vicki shyly
"Of course I'll go with you." said Alec excitedly "I'll pick you up in half an hour."
"Thanks, bye then!" said Vicki before hanging up
"YEAH!!!" cried Vicki jumping around, but stopped and said "Why da hell am I so happy? No no, I can't like him, I mean, how long have I known him? What do I know about him? But he is so nice, romantic, good at work, a GREAT dancer and of course, SUPER cute!"
Looking at the clock, Vicki screamed "Ah! Ten minutes past! What am I gonna wear?"
Throwing clothes around, Vicki decided to wear a black spaghetti strap with laces in the back showing a lil bit of her back and long bellbottoms. 'This should do' thought Vicki after putting her hair in a ponytail revealing her sexy neck.
'ding dong'
"Hello Alec." said Vicki "Thanks for going out with me
tonight."
"Hey, ready to go? By da way, you look REALLY nice." said Alec truthfully which made Vicki blush like mad.
"Thanks." said Vicki with a red face "Yep, let's go."
They chatted and laughed happily on the way to the movie theater and decided to watch 'School Days' (Starring Jimmy, Ruby and Takeshi).
After the movie:
"Vicki, can you wait here for a sec?" asked Alec "Gotta go to da
restroom."
"Sure." answered Vicki
While Vicki was waiting for Alec, a drunk guy came up to her and started touching her.
"Hi beautiful! Feeling lonely?" asked the drunk and not to mention, ugly guy.
Seeing Alec, who came back already and was standing in back of this DISGUSTING guy waiting for his next move. Vicki sarcastically said "Thanks for your offering, but I dun think so. Now get out of my face before I punch your lights out!"
"Oh really." said that guy
"Yes!" said Alec in back of the drunk guy
"What?! Where did you come from?" asked the guy
"Does it really matter?" asked Alec "Now let away from MY girl!" ordered Alec
"Oh yea? What are you gonna do if I dun?" asked the guy laughing
"This!" said Alec before giving the guy a powerful punch on the nose
"OUCH!" said the guy "You basterd!"
"This is what you get for calling him a basterd!" said Vicki giving the guy a punch in the stomach
The guy was about to attack them when Alec forced him on the ground and said "Vic, call Nick to come here?"
"Nick is on a date with Ruby." said Vicki
"Then call Takeshi." said Alec
After five minutes, Takeshi, who was Nick's friend at work (and of course, also a police) came and arrested the drunk guy with a swollen nose.
"Thanks Takeshi." said Alec
"No problem." said Takeshi laughing at the guy's look "Nice punch!"
"Yep." said Alec proudly before turning to face the messed up guy and said "This is what you get for harassing her."
"Agree." said Vicki
"I'll see you then Alec." said Takeshi
"Yep, c ya pal." said Alec
Murmuring in Alec's ears, Takeshi said "Your girl huh?"
"Nahz, not YET. She's Ruby's sister." answered Alec
"Well, good luck then." said Takeshi with a grin
"Thanks." said Alec "Bye then"
"Bye! Bye Vicki!" said Takeshi
"Bai bai." said Vicki
Like before, Vicki and Alec was talking on the way back, but mostly about that night and that funny guy.
Walking Vicki to the door, Vicki said "Thanks for coming today, I had a fabulous time!"
Smiling at Vicki’s cuteness, Alec said "I had a great time too. Now get some sleep cuz we still have a mission tomorrow."
"Yep, so nervous!" said Vicki "But I feel much better after going out."
"Dun worry about it." said Alec "Just be extra careful."
Vicki was walking toward the door when she tripped and luckily, Alec caught her and their eyes locked.....
Getting closer and closer, their lips locked into a passionate kiss. Finally unlocking their lips, Vicki looked away blushing.
"Thanks for catching me." said Vicki
"Thank god I did.." joked Alec making Vicki blush even more
"C ya tomorrow then." said Vicki
"Bai!" said Alec
After Vicki went back to her house with her heart beating REALLY fast, Alec went back too.
"Ceci, what if Nicholas and GiGi are lying?" asked Vicki
"Dun worry, they are not." said Cecilia "I did a LOT of researching on them including Zhou Jie and I am 100% sure that Nicholas and GiGi are telling us the truth."
"Okay then." said Vicki "I am dead nervous here."
"Calm down." comforted Cecilia
"Dun talk anymore." said Daniel "They are here!"
"Everyone in place!" ordered Jimmy
Twenty minutes went by and the people were unloading the boxes which were filled with drugs.
Daniel managed to sneak a peek into the boxes and made sure that the lil packages were drugs.
"Lin sir, those ARE drugs." reported Daniel
"Okay, now listen. On the count of three, we come out and arrest them okay?" said Jimmy quietly
"Yes sir!" said everyone in unison
Without their notice, Zhou Jie was watching in from a far
"Think you guys are so smart huh?" said Zhou Jie "We'll see about that." Laughing in a evil tone
"One, two, three, now!" said Jimmy
Everyone ran out with a gun in their hand. "Get down with your hands up!" Jimmy yelled
However, nobody listened to Jimmy's orders. Instead, the people got their own guns out and start shooting.
"WATCHOUT CECILIA!" cried Daniel as he saw a guy shooting at Ceci
Cecilia tried to get away from the bullet, but not fast enough. The bullet went right through her left arm.
"CECI!!!" Daniel shouted and tried to get close to her by shooting at the bad guys.
Finally got close to Cecilia, Daniel said "Are you alright?"
"Dun worry, I could still take it." said Cecilia in a weak voice "Its my arm. I'm sure its nothing life threatening."
"Okay, just lay down here." said Daniel but at the same time, Zhou Jie was pointing his gun at Daniel.
Lucky for Daniel, Alec attacked Zhou Jie from behind and Zhou Jie lost his conscious. Well, he looked like it, but he was really faking.
"Are you guys okay?" asked Alec
"Yeah." answered Daniel "Dun worry about us, I'll take care of Ceci."
"Be careful then." said Alec before turning around to see Zhou Jie pointing his gun at him.
"You are not as smart as you think you are." laughed Zhou Jie getting ready to shoot Alec. Zhou Jie pulled the trigger, but the bullet didn't get into Alec's body. Vicki came in time to cover Alec's body with her own and the bullet went through her.
"NO!" cried Alec
Zhou Jie was about to shoot again but Daniel was faster, shot the bullet right in Zhou Jie's leg.
"Arrest him NOW!" ordered Daniel
Zhou Jie got arrested and so did the other guys.
"Is Vicki alright?" asked Jimmy
"Vicki, hospital, NOW!" That's all Alec managed to say
"Daniel, come on, take Cecilia to my car. You too Alec." said Jimmy
Carrying Vicki, Alec got into Jimmy's car with Daniel, who was helping Cecilia. Zhou Jie and the other guys were taken care of by Nick, Takeshi etc.
Vicki was taken straight to the emergency room. After Nick and Takeshi locked Zhou Jie and the rest in jail (for now), they went to the hospital after picking up 'a close to breakdown' Ruby.
Jimmy picked Jolin up too to go to the hospital by the time Ruby, Nick and Takeshi got there. By the way, Jolin and Jimmy started going out already.
"Alec! How's Vicki?" asked Ruby
"I dunno! She have been in there for two hours already." answered Alec
"She is gonna be okay right?" asked Jolin in a trembling voice
"SHE HAS TO!" cried Alec
Finally the light in the emergency room went off and the doctor came out.
"How is she?" asked Alec not letting go of the doctor's arm
"We got the bullet out. However, the bullet was VERY near to her heart, so if she doesn't wake up in two hours, her life might be in danger." explained the doctor
"WHAT!?" cried Alec "YOU'VE GOT TO SAVE HER!!!"
"Calm down Alec." said Daniel "What do we do now doctor?"
"Just try to wake her up as soon as possible." said the doctor before walking away
"Come on, let's go see Vicki." said Ruby and Jolin
Arriving beside Vicki's bed, everyone didn't see the usual happy Vicki. Instead, they saw a very pale Vicki lying motionless on the bed. Jolin and Ruby broke into tears immediately. Cecilia, whose wound got taken care already, was standing next to Daniel without a expression.
"Can I get a few minutes with her ALONE please?" asked Alec not taking his eyes off of Vicki
The rest couldn't do anything but to leave Vicki with Alec.
After the rest left, Alec sat down on Vicki's bed and took her hand. "You know Vicki, there are three kinds of love. One is the love between a family, another one is the love between friends. The third one is the love between two people. I've got both the love from my family and the love from my friends. You are my missing piece of love. Please wake up and fill in the missing piece for me. I'm begging you."
By this time, Alec was struggling NOT to let his tears out. For some reason, he never cried after he turned one. But now, tears are coming out of his eyes.
Seeing Vicki still on the bed unmoving, Alec started to talk about the time they spent together.
One hour later, Daniel and the rest came to Vicki's room. "Any improvement?" asked Daniel
Alec just shooked his head.
Ruby couldn't take it anymore, she ran up to Vicki and started shaking her. "You can't leave me! You can't leave us! Do you hear? YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP!"
Everyone was trying to wake Vicki up one by one, but still nothing happened. The funniest part was when Nick was talking to Vicki. He was actually teasing Vicki with tears cuz he thought Vicki would wake up and tease him back. No one was laughing though cuz it was very sad.
Cecilia suggest to get something to eat first and everyone agreed except Alec.
"Alec, you have to eat something." said Jolin
"Leave me alone. I want to stay with Vicki." said Alec determined.
Ruby was about to say something but got interrupt by Jimmy "Just let me stay."
So everyone left leaving Alec with Vicki once again. "Vicki, if you really love me, please wake up." said Alec "Please..."
Suddenly, Vicki's hand moved.
"Vicki, your hand moved! Come on, you can do it, just wake up!" cried Alec
"A...Alec." said Vicki in a weak voice
"Your awake!" said Alec happily
"I'm sorry I couldn't wake up earlier, my eyes just won't open." apologized Vicki
"Its okay, as long as you woke up." said Alec
"Of course I have to wake up. I have to fill in that missing piece for you!" joked Vicki although she was still very weak at the moment.
"I love you." said Alec before giving Vicki a very soft kiss
"I love you too." said Vicki as tears came out
Rubbing Vicki's tears off, Alec said "Wait here, I'll go call the doctor."
"Dun worry, I'll look for the doctor." said Daniel walking into Vicki's room.
"Vicki! You woke up!" cried Cecilia happily
"Yes I did." said Vicki "And Nick, wait until I get my hands on you. Dun think I didn't hear you teasing me, cuz I did."
Everyone laughed.
The doctor came and checked on Vicki and told everyone that she is in a stable condition now.
Meanwhile, Vicki was busy getting pissed off because the doctor told her that she has to stay in the hospital for two months.
"TWO MONTHS! I didn't die because of a bullet, and instead, I'm gonna die of boredom!" said Vicki angrily
"Calm down, it won't be THAT bad." said Ceci "Alec is gonna stay with you the whole time."
"How do you know?" asked Vicki feeling a lil better knowing that Alec is gonna stay with her.
"Jimmy told me. Alec could do that IF he WANTS to." said Cecilia
"Hey! Maybe he doesn't want to." teased Ruby
"I think you got the 'tease Vicki' disease from Nick!" said Vicki
"Who said I didn't want to?" asked Alec walking into Vicki's room. "Of course I'll stay with my girl, ALONE."
"See?" said Vicki before sticking her tongue out
"I c, I c." said Ruby "I was just joking anywayz."
"But still, what am I gonna do for TWO MONTHS?" asked Vicki
"You could always make out with Alec." teased Nick walking in.
"YOU!" said Vicki "SHUT UP!"
"Agree." said Alec smiling at Vicki making her blush
"I can't wait until I get my hands on you." said Vicki "You should ask Ruby to book in a room at the hospital beforehand."
"Uh o." said Nick
"Sups Vicki?" asked Jimmy walking in the room hand in hand with Jolin
"I HAVE TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL FOR TWO MONTHS!" Vicki yelled
"THAT, I heard." said Jimmy "Alec is gonna stay with you. And of course, we'll come to visit you EVERYday."
"Well, fine!" said Vicki calming down "By the way, I didn't know you two started going out."
Jolin was blushing while Jimmy told Vicki and the rest about him and Jolin.
"Wow, you two move pretty fast." teased Alec
"Shut up." Jimmy said as he hit Alec playfully on the arm
"You two makes the CUTEST couple!" said Cecilia
"Thanks, you and Daniel aren't bad either." said Jolin
"How's your arm Ceci?" asked Vicki
"Its fine." answered Cecilia "Its nothing compare to yours."
"We gotta go now Vic, c ya tomorrow." said Daniel, and said to Vicki "Got a date."
"I see..." said Vicki making Ceci blush
"We gotta go too." said Nick "Ruby is gonna meet her future mother and father in laws."
"Good luck then sis." said Vicki
"Thanks, I'm dead nervous here." said Ruby
"Dun worry, they won't bite." said Jolin
"Bye bye guys." said Daniel, Ceci, Ruby and Nick
"I guess its only us now." said Jimmy "Anyone hungry?"
"Me!" answered Vicki sounding like a lil kid
"Sure, daddy and mommy will get you food now." said Jimmy
"Thank you daddy." said Vicki laughing
"Want anything Alec?" asked Jolin
"Just get me a sandwich. Thanks." responded Alec
"Sure, no problem." said Jimmy before heading out the door with his hand around Jolin's waist.
"What do you want to do now?" asked Alec
"Wanna watch television." said Vicki
"Damn, there is nothing good on tv." complained Alec
"I noe right." said Vicki
"How about after we eat, I'll go pick up some tv series to entertain you for these two months." suggested Alec
"Perfect!" said Vicki "I want to watch the Sword Girl, Huan Zhu Ge Ge 1 and 2, Old House Has Joy AND The Handsome Siblings."
"Anything you want darling." said Alec
After they ate, both Alec and Jimmy went out to pick up the tv series leaving Jolin to stay with Vicki.
"So, how's you and Alec?" asked Jolin while peeling an apple for Vicki
"perfect." said Vicki proudly
"Ooo..." said Jolin "So when is the big day?"
"I dun think anytime soon." answered Vicki "Too early."
"True." agreed Jolin
The girls kept on chatting until Alec and Jimmy came back carrying a bunch of bags.
"How about giving me a hand Jo." said Jimmy "I didn't know Vicki wants THIS much tapes."
"They ARE tv series." said Vicki "Thanks Alec."
"And Jimmy." said Vicki after Jimmy gave her a look
"That's better." said Jimmy "Let's go now Jolin."
"K, bye Vicki. C ya!" said Jolin
"Bai bai." said Vicki and Alec
"Can I start watching them now?" asked Vicki
"Of course! In the meantime, I'll go and pick up a few snacks for you." said Alec
"Your the best." said Vicki
"Thank you, thank you." said Alec "I know that already." and gave Vicki a quick kiss before heading out AGAIN.

Two months past by really fast. Alec stayed with her almost everyday and the
guys visit Vicki often. Nicholas and GiGi came too a few times.
Vicki was recovering fast too. She isn't weak like

down on her bed after coming back home. "And Alec can get some rest."
"Nah, it is never tiring from taking care of you." said Alec "I mean, all I did is go get you food and watch tv series with you."

"What?" asked everyone in unison
"I'm getting married soon!" announced Nick happily
"And you call that GOOD news?" asked Vicki "I mean, it IS a good news for Ruby, but it ain't for me."
"Vicki....." said Daniel
"Fine, fine. Congratulations RUBY." said Vicki grinning at Nick "Can I be the bride's maid?"
"Of course!" said Ruby
"You didn't ask me." said Nick
"Your not the bride." said Vicki "Unless you want to be a girl."
"Ugh!" said Nick
"Stop you two." said Ceci "Be mature for once."
"I'm always mature!" Vicki and Nick shouted at the same time making everyone laugh.
"Want to go out for a celebration?" asked Jimmy
"Of course!" said Daniel "One reason is for Vicki recovering so fast and the other is for Nick and Ruby getting married."
"Let's go then!" said Alec
"Calm down sis. Everything is gonna be fine." said Vicki "Just take a deep breath."
"Vicki, they are here." reported Cecilia walking into Ruby's room. "Wow, you look awesome Ruby!"
"Thanks." said Ruby
"This is gonna be fun!" said Vicki happily
'ding dong'
Cecilia opened the door a lil and said "You guys know what we what."
"Damn it, how much do you want?" asked Nick
"We want.... 8 thousand US dollars." said Cecilia grinning
"I ain't made of money you know!" exclaimed Nick
"You know you are." said Cecilia "Fine, if you dun want to give it to us. Just go home now."
"Fine!" said Nick "Here!"
Coming in the house, Nick said "I wonder what kind of things are you monsters gonna put me through this time."
"Nahz, I think you'll like each part." said Vicki "We are gonna cover your eyes and each of us will kiss you on the lips. If you figure out with one of us is Ruby, then, she's all yours."
"Hey!" cried Alec, Jimmy and Daniel in unison
"This IS my lucky day huh?" said Nick smiling
"You might be lucky today, but when you get back from your honeymoon, oh my god, you better pray for your safety." said Daniel
"Exactly. And remember, its THREE detectives with a lot of fighting skills against a police." reminded Alec and Jimmy
"This is pure torture now." said Nick "Just hurry up and get on with it."
After covering Nick's eyes with a scarf, Cecilia made sure that Nick can't see anything.
"Okay here it goes." said Cecilia
Vicki was the first one that gave Nick a kiss on the lips.
"Nope, this ain't Ruby." said Nick "Its Vicki."
"Hey how did you know?!" asked Vicki
"CUZ ALEC IS BABBLING!" exclaimed Nick
"Alec, shut up PLEASE." begged Jolin "We are playing a game right now. That goes to Jimmy and Daniel too!"
"Fine, sorry." said Alec
Jolin went next.
"This ain't Ruby either." said Nick
Next went Ruby.
"THAT was Ruby!" said Nick proudly
"Are you sure?" asked Jolin
"100 percent positive." answered Nick
"Okay. Ruby is all yours now." said Cecilia
"GOD BLESS ME!" said Daniel
"But you still have to face me and Jimmy went you get back." said Alec
"Oh yea." agreed Jimmy
"Oh man." said Nick "At least two is better than three. But for now, I gotta head to church with my girl."
"We are not finished YET." said Jolin
"But, I thought..." said Nick
"That's what you THOUGHT." said Vicki
"What now?" asked Nick getting annoyed
"Gotta answer ten questions about Ruby." said Cecilia
"That'll be easy." said Nick
"What is Ruby's favorite fruit?" asked Cecilia
"Watermelon." said Nicki
"Okay. What is Ruby's favorite season?" asked Vicki
"Winter." said Nick
"What animal is she afraid of the most?" asked Jolin
"Snakes." answered Nick
The questions and answers went on and on, and finally everything got done.
"Damn! That was boring." said Alec
"Oh yeah?" said Jolin "Just wait until your wedding."
"You should've kept your mouth shut Alec." said Daniel "I can't wait until your wedding."
"Shut up and let's just go to church." said Alec impatiently
"Let's go!" said Vicki excitedly

"Do you Nick Wu, take Ruby Lin as your wife?" asked the priest
"I do." said Nick smiling at a blushing Ruby
"Do you Ruby Lin, take Nick Wu as your husband?" asked the priest again
"I do." answered Ruby
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." said the priest
After giving Ruby a passionate and promising kiss, the whole church cheered "YEAH!" together.
Sitting in Nick's convertible car, Ruby throw back her bouquet with Cecilia catching it.
"Thank you Ruby!" said Daniel happily "Have a nice time on your honey moon!"
"Yea, me and Jimmy will be waiting for you to come back." said Alec
"Then I'll probably never come back." joked Nick
"Well, that's your problem." said Vicki "I still want by sister back."
"Bye ya guys." said Nick and Ruby
"Bai bai!" said the rest
With that, Ruby and Nick headed to their romantic honey moon.
"I hope they'll have a good time." said Cecilia after Nick and Ruby went out of their sight.
"Yea, when he is busy enjoying himself, I'm busy filling up his work." said Takeshi who also went to Nick's wedding.
"Aw, poor Takeshi. But for me, I gotta propose to MY Cecilia." said Daniel playfully
"Do I get to be the bride's maid again?" asked Vicki showing Daniel a puppy face
"Of course! I mean, you are the most adorable god sister anyone could have." said Daniel
"Agree." said Cecilia
"Does that mean you'll marry me?" asked Daniel
"You didn't ask yet." said Cecilia with a red face
"Good luck pal." said Jimmy and Alec "Waiting for your good news."
One night:
Cecilia and Vicki asked Jolin to stay at their house while Ruby is on her honey
moon, and the three girls were chatting.
'ding dong'
Both Vicki and Jolin turned to Cecilia at the same time.
"Alright, I'll get it." said Cecilia
"Thanks." said Vicki and Jolin grinning
"Mom! Dad!" exclaimed Cecilia happily as she opened her front door. "What are you doing here?"
"Aren't you happy to see us?" asked Mrs. Cheung pretending to put on a sad face.
"Of course I am!" said Cecilia "Why didn't you call me to pick you up?"
"We wanted to give you a surprise dear." said Mr. Cheung
"Hi Vicki, hi Jolin!" greeted Mrs. Cheung
"Hi auntie!" said Jolin and Vicki excitedly
"Where is Ruby?" asked Ceci's dad
"She went to her honey moon with Nick." answered Jolin
"I see." said Mrs. Cheung smiling
Sitting down on the sofa, Mrs. Cheung asked "When do I get to meet my son in law?"
"Anytime." said Cecilia
"Honey, can you call your friend Alec here?" asked Mr. Cheung
"Dad, he is not your son in law to be." said Cecilia thinking his parents must of made a mistake "Daniel is."
"We know that." said Mrs. Cheung
"Cecilia, just sit and chat with auntie and uncle, I'll call Alec." said Vicki
"Thanks honey." said Mrs. Cheung
Minutes later, Vicki came back and said "Alec said he'll be here as soon as possible. Since Daniel and Jimmy were over, they are gonna come too."
"Joy! I get to see Daniel too." said Mrs. Cheung making Cecilia blush.
"Mom, dad, how about taking a quick shower first. I'm sure you two must be very tired." said Cecilia
"Okay dear." said Mr. Cheung
While Cecilia's parents were taking a shower, the guys came.
"Why did auntie ask Alec to come?" asked Jimmy
"I dunno. Pretty weird." said Cecilia
"They DO know that I'm the one that's gonna marry you right?" asked Daniel nervously
"Of course." said Vicki
Soon after the guys came, Cecilia's parents came out.
"Hi auntie and uncle." greeted the guys
"Daniel, aren't you suppose to call me mom now?" teased Mrs. Cheung making Cecilia blush again.
"Mom." said Daniel shyly
"That's better." said Mrs. Cheung
"Hey! What about me?" joked Mr. Cheung
"Dad." said Daniel
"That's it." said Mr. Cheung "Now, let's all sit cuz me and Grace (Cecilia's mom) got something very important to tell you guys, especially you, Alec."
Alec was puzzled.
"Cecilia, remember what I told you about your brother?" asked Grace
"Yes mom, he died at birth." answered Cecilia
"The doctor told us that he died." said Mr. Cheung (I'm gonna call him Kevin from now on, its a pain writing Mrs. and Mr. Cheung)
"We believed it at first." said Grace "But over the years, every time I think of it, the more I think it's impossible for your brother to die."
"What do you mean auntie?" asked Vicki
"Well, nothing happened to me when I was pregnant, and when I was giving birth to your older brother, everything was normal." said Grace
"So we did some research over the years, and we found out that the doctors made a mistake." said Kevin "That doctor was overworking and plus, he gave birth to your brother after he gave birth to another baby boy earlier that day."
"So he probably told you that my brother died when he was thinking about another baby?" asked Cecilia
"Smart girl." said Grace
"But where is my older brother now?" asked Cecilia
"In front of your eyes." answered Kevin
"Huh?" asked a puzzled Cecilia
"Alec!" said Grace
"WHAT?!" asked everyone especially Alec
"Are you sure auntie?" asked a VERY surprised Alec
"Yes sweetie." said Grace "We looked through the hospital record and only you and another lil boy was born on that day."
"Dun worry, we are 100% sure that you are my son." said Kevin
"Where is the couple that took care of you all these years?" asked Grace who didn't want to call the couple Alec's parents.
"They died two years ago." answered Alec
"Aw, but perhaps they get to meet their real son up in heaven." comforted Grace
Cecilia, who was stunned for a couple of minutes, suddenly jumped up with joy and start yelling "I've got a brother! And Alec is my brother! I got a good brother!"
Running to Alec, Cecilia start kissing Alec all over the face while still shouting "Alec is my brother! YEAH!!"
Alec, who was happy finding his real parents and a sister, hugged Cecilia tightly.
"I'm happy to have you as my sister too." said Alec happily
"How about calling me mom." said Grace who has tears in her eyes.
Getting up, Alec walked to Grace and said "Mom!" before giving Grace a big hug.
"Me?" asked Kevin
"Dad!" called Alec before the whole family shared a big hug.
After the family separated, Alec walked to Vicki and said "I got a new family now, aren't you happy for me?"
"Of course I am!" exclaimed Vicki before giving Alec a kiss
"I suppose this is gonna be my future daughter in law?" asked Grace in a teasing tone
"yep!" answered Alec proudly
"Son, you got a great taste." commented Kevin making Vicki blush like mad.
Jolin and Jimmy left leaving the family their personal time to chat.
Soon after Jolin and Jimmy left, the family including Daniel and Vicki went out to celebrate the union.
Although Jimmy and Jolin only knew each other for a lil over a year, but they think they could spend the rest of their life together. So Jimmy invited Jolin over for dinner one day, after a lil romantic dinner, Jimmy proposed to Jolin and Jolin agreed.
Everyone was congratulating the newly wed couple and the newly engaged couple while Vicki, Alec, Ruby and Nick is running around for things.
"A yah!" cried Nick "Ruby, I'm begging you to walk slower. I want my baby to be in perfect condition before he or she comes out. If I keep on seeing you walking so fast, one of these days I'm gonna have a heart attack before my baby even comes out."
"Calm down Nick, I'll be fine. I promise I'll be VERY careful and SLOW from now on." said Ruby
"Ya noe what? For safety precaution, just sit here." said Nick acting like Ruby is some glass that is about to break any minute.
"And what am I suppose to do?" asked a Ruby with annoyed face. "I'm not a baby you know."
"I know that, but your carrying MY baby. Please..." said Nick showing Ruby a puppy face knowing Ruby would melt at that face.
"Ugh, fine!" said Ruby claiming the defeat.
Suddenly Alec announce loudly, "Please give me your attention everyone."
After the room is completely quiet, Alec said "I would like to do a once in a life thing right now."
Seeing people giving him weird looks, Alec slowly goes down on his knees in front of a stunned Vicki and asked "Will you marry me?"
"Where is the ring?!" shouted everyone
"Oh yea." said a embarrassed Alec before taking out a gorgeous ring waiting for Vicki's answer.
Vicki thought it was a dream until Cecilia gave her a lil push. 'Oh my god, it's not a dream. Alec is asking me to marry him' thought Vicki
"GIVE HIM YOUR ANSWER!" yelled everyone excitedly
Seeing Alec's anxious face, Vicki smiled and said "YES!"
With that, everyone cheered while Alec put the ring on Vicki's finger and the two shared a big hug and a kiss.

Five months later:
"Lin sir." said Vicki as she stepped into Jimmy's office.
"Yes Vicki?" asked Jimmy
"I want to tell you something." said Vicki
"Sure." said Jimmy
"I dun think I want to work as a detective anymore." said Vicki not looking at Jimmy afraid to see his reaction.
"WHY!?" asked Jimmy "Does Alec know about this?"
"Yes Lin Sir, Alec knows and he agrees with me." said Vicki "I think I'm not fit to be a detective."
"I see, it that's what you really want....." said Jimmy "What are you going to do after this?"
"I'm gonna help Ruby in the store, I mean, she can't really travel a lot now since she is pregnant. Anyway, I was thinking about having a fashion career too." said Vicki
"We'll be supporting you all da way." said Cecilia as she walked in Jimmy's office with Daniel and Alec following behind her.
"Yep." said Daniel and Alec together.
"Me too." said Jimmy "Just leave everything to me."
"Thanks Jimmy." said Vicki
Since they don't have a case, they chatted a few minutes longer before Vicki had to clean out her office.
Ruby is working in the store after giving birth to a cute lil boy. Jolin is taking a leave from work since is pregnant with her first child.
One day:
"Mrs. Cheung, PUSH!" cried the doctor. Alec changed his last name to
Cheung since he found his real parents.
"AH!" yelled Vicki using her last strength to push her child out.
"Is it a boy or girl?" asked Alec excitedly
"Congrads Mr. and Mrs. Cheung. Its a beautiful girl!" reported the doctor.
Alec was so happy, he started shouting "I'm a father! Thank you Vicki!"
Vicki, who was dead tired, smiled.
One month later:
Vicki and Alec is sitting on the beach with their cute lil daughter, who they
named Kelly.
Cecilia, Daniel and their three year old daughter, Christina is playing around on the beach.
Vicki, who was laying in Alec's embrace with lil Kelly in her embrace, said "This is the perfect life, right Alec?"
"Of course it is. I mean what else could I ask for? A beautiful and caring wife, a great family, and the cutest baby daughter." said Alec while watching the sunset with Vicki.
Minutes later, Vicki said "I love you."
"I love you too." said Alec before Kelly gave a lil snore. Laughing, Alec said "And I love you too sweetie."
