Chapter 1

~In The States~
Vicki and Ruby began a new life,they made new friends but they still remembered the friends they had back in hong Kong.Life for these two took a new turn in their life.Ruby became a very successful designer,but also Vicki did too.Vicki also decided to follow her dream,so these two friends both stood by each other.They were soon known all around the world for their fashion design.Even in Hong Kong,their friends were really happy for them but they never found out were the girls are really staying because they used to travel.In the states Vicki had been matched up with this guy.It was because one of her friends wanted to match her up,but it didn't work out,they became friends though.Ruby stayed single.These two tried to forget about the friend they had lost in Hong Kong.These two still kept in close contact with friends and relatives in Hong Kong.Time flies by so fast.One year has pasted,Vicki and Ruby was well known.

~BACK IN HONG KONG~

Kristy-(suddenly whined)I miss them......

Shirley-Kris,not only you okay?

Kristy-I wonder how their doing.

By this Time Viviane had moved in with them,taking the guest room.

Viviane-come on you guys,you two didn't get ready yet...we're suppose to meet the guys there by now.

Shirley-we're coming.(standing up)

Kristy-I wonder where they are now..

Viviane stared at kristy then walked over to her and pulled her up

Viviane-Kris,hurry up....

Kristy-okay,Im going......(finally starting to walk up the stairs)

~AT THE KARAOKE BAR~

Viviane,Kristy and Shirley just walked through the doors.

Louis-(pointing)you girls are late...

Viviane-sorry,its because of these two.

They all sat down

Eileen-what happened?

Shirley-we were just thinking about Vicki and Ruby again..

Eileen-I really miss them....I can't believe I didn't get to see Gigi for the last time(tears forming in her eyes)

Andy-its okay,You'll meet them soon(letting his wife's head rest on his shoulder)

Benny-Yeah,i bet they don't know their being missed.

Nicholas,Alec and Louis had became quiet after this conversation started

During this time Shirley had started dating Benny and Viviane was seeing Kevin,which shocked everyone when they heard the news.

Nicky-hey why don't we start singing(trying to break the silence)

Benny-here me and Shir will sing first(taking a mic and handing the other one to Shirley)

Meanwhile in US the girls heard there was a big competition,but it was taking place in Hong Kong.

In ruby's room

Vicki was lying there hugging a pillow and staring at the ceiling above her.And Ruby was sitting at her desk working on her latest design.

Vicki-(suddenly began to speak)Rub,Do you miss the others?

Ruby-huh?(taking her attention off her work)Of course I do.......

vicki-Me too......Do you miss Louis?

ruby-uh......what are you talking about?Of course i do,he's my friend too...

Vicki-(sat up)you still want to be with him huh?But your just afraid to give you guys another chance cause you don't want to get hurt again.

Ruby-uh...ummmm.

vicki-Rub,im your best friend,Don't tell me i don't know what your thinking cause I do.

ruby-Vic,your the only person that can read my mind.Yes,I really miss him.

ruby-how about you and ALec?

Vicki-I just treat him like a big brother.....not anything else.(lying back down on the bed)

Ruby-Do you want to go back?(leading against her chair)

Vicki-I really miss all of them.....but.....

Ruby-Vic,we have to go back in the future,why not go back at this chance?

Ruby-i mean we've been away for a year now......I really miss them

vicki-and Louis(teasing her friend)

Ruby just smiled and nodded

Vicki-So do you want to go?

Ruby-what do you think?

Vicki just smiled at her friend.

Things went on as usual for them in hong Kong

but one afternoon they all decided to go roller blading.the only person that couldn't make it was ALec,he had a big assignment to work on......

Chapter 2

Louis-here(pasting Nicholas a bottle of water)
Nicholas-thanks(as he took the bottle)
Louis-Whats wrong?you look so down today(as he began to drink his water)
Nicholas-im okay....
Suddenly Kristy rollerbladded up to them.
Kristy-Come on,get up(pulling each of the guys hands)
Louis and Nicholas then followed her

Meanwhile Vicki and Ruby had no luck,the taxi ran out of gas in the middle of no where.And there was no car to be seen.The taxi driver went to get some gas but he hasn't been back for more than an hour.
vicki and ruby started walking hoping to find a telephone booth.
As they walked, finally a car approached them and stopped as a male's head shot out the window.
Guy-What are you ladies doing here?
Vicki-Do you happen to know if there's a telephone booth near by?(as she pulled off her sunglasses)
Guy-Nope,there's none.its hard,you won't be able to get a taxi around here either.
Ruby-(turned to Vicki)What are we going to do?
Vicki-(After taking a look at Ruby turned to the driver)Do you mind giving us a lift?
Guy-Sure no problem,hop in
Vicki-thanks
Ruby suddenly pulled vicki back.
Ruby-Vic,what are you doing?we don't even know that guy.
Vicki-rub,this is the only way,we been walking for an hour and this is the only car we've seen.You do want to get out of here right?
Ruby-yeah,But we don't know this guy....
Vicki-im sure he's not harmful besides I've been through worst.COme on(as she dragged her friend into the car)
Finally ruby gave up on her friend and followed her.

~THE SU'S ENTERPRISE~
Alec was sitting at his desk when he lifted up a magazine and he saw a familiar face
There was a picture of Vicki and beside her was Ruby...
They had achieved so much in so less time.
Alec placed the magazine down and sat there thinking about Vicki,he wondered when she was going to come back.Its been a year already,and he hadn't seen her.She and Ruby only mailed letters to Vicki's family or Kristy,Shirley or viviane.
Suddenly a beep came from the inter com as her sat up and pushed the button down.

Meanwhile the others were having fun when on the street as car crashed into another one and the one behind crashed into that one.This mad people turn to look.The others decided to get out of the crowded area and continued to roller blade
Vicki and Ruby followed the guy out of the car,good thing none of them were hurt.The guy stood there arguing with another man.
Vicki-(to the guy)umm....thank you for the ride we're going to leave first.
The guy didn't hear her.
Ruby-how about just leave him some money and go.
Vicki decided to give it another shot.
Vicki-Thank you for the ride(as she placed some money into his palms)
The guy nodded and continued to argue with the other man.
Ruby and Vicki took their stuff and started to walk out of the scene.
Vicki-How could we get into so much bad luck on the first day back?
Ruby-Vic,lets just try to get back.
Vicki-your right(as they turned a corner)
Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Vicki-what now!(as she tried to stand up)
Vicki-How could we get so much bad luck(she brushed the dirt off her clothes than turned to help Ruby)
Girl-Ouch....
Vicki and Ruby turned to face the girl.
There was silence.
Girl-Ahhhh!Ruby ...........Vicki!(she started jumping as she hugged her two friends)
Girl-When did you two come back?
Vicki-(smiling)what a great way to greet us Kristy.
Ruby-Im so happy to see you too Kris
Kristy kept jumping up and down.
Vicki-you can sure scream really loud now,i think my ear drum broke.
Kristy-hey(as she placed her hands on her hip)
Vicki-(smiled at her)Im just joking,So glad to be back,miss you(as she hugged kristy once again)
Ruby-Hey going rollerblading and not inviting us huh?
Kristy-how could I when you guys are in US.
Kristy-hey you didn't answer my question yet,When did you get back?
Vicki-notice the suitcase?
Guy-What happened?
As figures started to appear and stopped beside Kristy but didn't look the other way to see Ruby a nd Vicki
Shirley-Kris?you okay?
Kristy just smiled
As the others turned to the other direction.
Viviane-Am i seeing wrong?(she started to rub her eyes)
Vicki pushed her sunglasses so they were resting on her head then smiled at her friends.
Nicholas-Vic?is that really you?
Louis stood there stunned seeing Ruby again.
Vicki-hi guys.
Ruby-So glad to see you guys.....
Vicki-yeah,so soon...
Shirley started to hug Ruby then Vicki.Viviane then followed.
Vicki-(hugging nicholas)how's it going Nic?
Nicholas-okay....I still can't believe your standing in front of me.
Benny-You two never told us you were coming back.
Louis-Yeah,its such a surprise.
Ruby-We came cause theirs going to be a contest,and we're suppose to be involved in it.
Vicki-And to take this chance to see you guys of course.
Ruby-I noticed we got some couples.
Vicki-yea.......Viviane and Kevin?I can never imagine that.
Ruby-Shirley and benny?(shaking her head in surprise)
Vicki-hey,whose Kristy dating?
Kristy-im guy free(smiling happily)
Nicky-hey your saying we're bad?(as they started to chase each other)
Benny-so where were you guys plan on going?
Vicki-home but we seem to be getting bad luck.
Kristy stopped.
Kristy-hey when you bumped into me,you said "what now"what is that suppose to mean,do you mean im bad luck?
Ruby-Kris,you never change.
Nicholas-why don't we head back then(as he picked up a suitcase)
Louis and the others took the others.
On the way home ,All Ruby and Vicki could say the most is,"Its so good to see you guys".
At The Girl's Place.
Vicki-It's so good to be back here.
Ruby-yeah.....
Nicky-So,how long are you guys planning on staying.
Ruby-we don't know yet.(as she started to head upstairs with vicki).
Shirley followed them
Shirley-We didn't touch a thing in your room
Ruby went into her room and vicki into hers just to be happy that their back again.
Shirley-Lets go downstairs,we'll make lunch,im sure your both hungry and tired.
Vicki-Yup....
Ruby-Lets go down then.
As they were in the hallway.Vicki stopped in front of Gigi's room and went in....so much things floated back into her mind....
Ruby placed a hand on Vicki's shoulder
Ruby-vic,lets go......(as she knew what Vicki was thinking that time.)
Vicki-okay...
They headed down stairs to join the others.
Right away vicki walked over to a photo of the girls that was on top of the fireplace.
Shirley-anyone hungry?Im going to make lunch.
Vicki turned back to them.
Vicki-I'll help you
Vicki and shirley went into the kitchen as the others sat and talked.
Ruby-Kris,didn't we say in the letter that we wanted to see your boyfriend when we get back....
Once Shirley and Vicki finished they all started to eat....of course it was delicious cause it was Vicki's cooking combined with shirley.
Vicki-(as she walked over to place her dish in the sink)guys,i want to go visit gigi
Viviane-okay,we'll go with you,we haven't visited her this week.
Ruby-we'll stop by the flower shop first.
Vicki-let me clean up first.
Shirley-Don't,why don't we go talk and let the Guy's clean it up?
Kevin-What leave us here to clean up?
Nicky-But i don't know how to wash the dishes
Vicki-really?(knowing nicky did)
Louis-lets just clean up and let them go talk.
Benny-yeah....
In the End the guys gave up.
The Girls had their girl talk and later they all left to visit Gigi.
Vicki crouched down as she place the flowers.
Ruby-hi GIgi how are you doing?
Vicki-me and Ruby just came back from US,we really miss you.......................
Once they finished the girls ditched the guys to go shopping...Actually the guys left because they didn't want to shop.
Vicki decided to plan a surprise visit to her parents and brother and sister so she told nicholas to not tell them that she was back
Meanwhile the guys went back to work.
Once the girls finished shopping they went back home and Vicki and Ruby took out all the presents they brought for everyone from US.
Vicki-This one is From me to Kris.
Ruby-This is yours too Kris
They gave the girls theirs and kept the other to give to the guys and others.
Vicki-I have to go home to visit my parents.
Viviane-We'll go with you.
Vicki-its okay....my car is still here,i can take it.
Ruby-okay then.....
Vicki placed all the gifts she needed in a bag and left.
While Vicki was driving the song..."Will you Be mines" came on,this also brought memories back..........of Alec......
When vicki reached the mansion she parked her car outside in the sidewalk as she stepped out she stood there for a moment looking at the mansion.Vicki walked towards the gate and rang the bell.
Out came May
May-Vicki!(as she opened the gate door for Vicki)
Vicki-hi May....how are you?
May-when did you get back?Let me go tell Mr.and Mrs.....----
Vicki-No,May i want to surprise them.
May-okay then.
Vicki followed may inside...and on the couch was Steven.
She walked up quietly behind Steven and covered his eyes with her hand then said in a low voice......
Vicki-Guess Who.
Steven at this stage was confused.his dad wouldn't do this,neither would his mom....Eileen and Andy wasn't here yet and........
Steven-Nic?
Vicki started to laugh....then she stopped...
Steven-ooo,I know who has rough hands like this.......it must be Vicki Zhao.
Vicki pulled her hand away.......
Vicki-hey,your no fun(as she pouted)i don't have rough hands.
Steven-(stood up and turned around to face her)when did you come back?
Vicki-i just came back and you already started to pick on me.......Im going to tell dad....
Steven-seriously....
Vicki-i just got back today........how's everyone?
Vicki ran and hide beside the stairs once she heard her mom's voice.
Mrs.Zhao-Steven........
Suddenly a pair of hands covered her eyes.
Vicki-guess who
Mrs.Zhao-Eileen?When did you arrive,stop joking around.
Vicki-(release her hands and started to pout once again)you don't recognize my voice mom?
Mrs.Zhao turned around
Mrs.Zhao-Vicki!!!(as she hugged her daughter)
Mrs.Zhao-When did you get back dear?
Mr.Zhao started coming down.
Mr.Zhao-Eileen's here already?
Vicki-no dad just me!!
Mr.Zhao-Vicki!(he too hug her)
Mr.Zhao-when did you get back?
Vicki-just today.....
mrs.zhao-why didn't you inform us so we could pick you up?
Vicki-I wanted to surprise you mom.
Mrs.Zhao-how are you?did you have any hard time there?any changes?
Vicki-Mom,i can't answer all this at once.
Mr.Zhao-sit down.
Mr.zhao-May,get vicki a drink.
Vicki-Its okay dad......
Suddenly in walked Eileen and Andy.
They froze once they saw Vicki.
Eileen ran over to hug her younger sister,she was so happy to see Vicki again.
Vicki greeted her sister and brother in law and she answered the same questions once again.
May-dinner is ready.
Mrs.Zhao-okay,why don't we go eat.
They all headed to the table.
Mr.Zhao-Call nicholas down May
Eileen-he'll be so happy to see you.
Vicki said nothing.
Nicholas came down,greeted everyone and sat down.
Steven-hey Nic,how come your not surprised?
Andy-yeah,Vicki's back.
Nicholas-i know......
Eileen-you know?
Vicki-yeah......i saw him this morning.
Mrs.zhao-Why didn't you tell us nicholas?
Vicki-i told him not to mom.
They continued on with their dinner,once again they ate as a family.And Eileen announced that she was pregnant with a 2 month baby.This news really was a surprising and happy news for the Zhaos......
Once they finished Vicki gave out the gifts.....there was one left in the bag......it said Alec.
She must have accidentally put it in.
Later Vicki drove back home....but before she went home she stopped at the beach as she walked........then someone she never expect she would see today showed up right in front of her...as they both looked up to meet each other's glances

Chapter 3

They both stood there staring at each other for awhile and then they finally started walking towards each other.As they stopped in front of each other.
Vicki-Hi..
Alec-Hi.....Wh.......When did you get back?
Vicki-Just got back today....
Alec-oh...
Vicki-So how have you been doing?
Alec-um...Great,I've been great........how about you?
Vicki starting to walk as Alec did the same while he kicked a small pebble in his path.
Vicki-Me?I've been doing really well....
Silence filled the air as these two continued to walk.

Alec had no idea what to say next.He had no idea she would even be back today.Why didn't the guys tell him?he didn't know what to say.He didn't want to start off with that question again.And make her run away.Suddenly he said something very stupid.

Alec-ummm.....so how's Ruby?
Vicki-huh?umm......she's doing quite well.
Alec-umm......i heard you've become a very successful designer.
Vicki-well,you can't say im successful but I do try my best.
Suddenly Vicki asked Alec a weird question as she sat down in the sand facing the ocean as Alec sat beside her.
Vicki-Alec......is Louis dating anyone?
Alec turned to look at Vicki.Seeing this Vicki quickly replied.
Vicki-Don't take it wrong,Im just worried for Ruby.
Alec-Ruby?you mean Ruby still---no Lou's not seeing anyone...the last person was Ruby.
Vicki-you mean he's been like this for a whole year?
Alec-yes (inside Alec wanted to say "me too Vicki")
Vicki quickly turned to Alec
Vicki-don't tell Louis okay?
Alec-sure.
Alec-Lou is still in love with Ruby
vicki-"Love?"
Alec-yea.....i know he is....he has never been this serious in a relationship before.
Vicki-oh.....
Vicki turned her glance up to look at the shining stars above her.
Vicki-So nothing changed for you Alec?
Alec-Still have the plain life.
Vicki's lip curve into a smile
Vicki-you have a very exciting life not a plain one.
She stared over at him and right then their glances met once again that night.Vicki quickly turned back to look at the stars as she flushed under the stars.

Alec's glance was still on Vicki.Was Vicki blushing?He hadn't seen her blush for so long.Thats because he hasn't seen her for so long.Even though Vicki hasn't changed on the outside she has changed on the inside.Before Vicki and him would always argue.And no matter what,when their together,there usually wasn't silent. She seemed much more mature now.

Vicki-aren't the stars big tonight?
Alec-huh?yea,they are.
Vicki- Alec,how come your so quiet?A friend of yours is back,you should be happy.
A Friend?That word repeated through his head over and over.Is that all they will ever be. Friends?
Alec-I....I just don't know what to say.
Vicki-(trying to lighten the atmosphere around them)well you can start off by welcoming this friend of yours back(Vicki said cheekily)
Alec-(smiling)well,welcome back Vicki(turned to Vicki)
Vicki-Thats more like it....
Vicki-Well its nice seeing you again Alec.(smiling brightly)
Alec stood up looking at the ocean view in front of them as he picked up a few pebbles and starting throwing them into the water
Vicki sat there thinking back then she suddenly started to laugh
Alec turned back to look at her.
Alec-Whats so funny(with a curious look)
Vicki-I was thinking back.......isn't it awkward....do you remember how we first met?
This time it was Alec's turn to laugh....
Alec-yeah......
Vicki-and look at us now,we can actually sit still and talk.
Alec-yea....pretty weird.
Vicki-I use to hate you so much and thought you were really annoying and i never wanted to get to know you better....
Alec-........and I used to hate you to the core but now....
Vicki turned to look at Alec as she could only see his back cause he continued to throw pebbles in the ocean.
Vicki-but now........
Alec-now things changed......um.....I got to know you better..
Vicki just nodded in agreement as she stood up.....but as she placed her hand on her neck to find her necklace she didn't feel it....
Vicki-omigosh.....
Alec-whats wrong?(turned back)
Vicki-I think I lost my locket.
Alec-your locket?
Vicki-Yes,Nic gave it to me.....
Alec-well,lets look around.
They looked but couldn't find anything.It was pretty dark and plus it would be hard finding the necklace through the sand.The only light they had the was light shining off the stars and the quarter moon.

Vicki-We'll never be able to find it.
Alec-Don't worry we will.
They continued to search but to no avail,they couldn't find it.It could be anywhere.
Vicki-Alec?
Alec was still looking around eagerly for the necklace.
Vicki-Alec.........
Alec-huh?
Vicki-lets not look anymore....it would be hard to find it in the day time too and now its night time......
Alec-its got to be around here somewhere.
Vicki-Alec,its okay.......its not that important anyways.....I can get another one...besides its late,I think we should head back.
Alec-okay then..
So Vicki and Alec quickly headed off their own way.

Louis-Hey Alec.......
Alec-hey.
Nicky-hey,vicki and Ruby came back.
Alec-I know.
Benny-you know?
Alec-yeah,I just met Vicki(as he disappeared in the hallway)
BAM
Louis-whats that noise.
The guys headed into Alec's room.
Benny-What are you looking for Alec?
Alec-Do you know where the flashlight is?
Nicky-why?
Benny-Its right here.(walking to the hallway and taking the flashlight out from the closet)
Alec-thanks(taking it from Benny)
Louis-Did something happen?
Alec-no,I just need to go look for something.

Vicki had got up really early,just when the sun came out cause she had to find that necklace.So she got ready and headed off to the beach.
As she got out of her car.She saw a familiar figure crouching down in the sand looking for something.As she took a few steps closer,she frozed as she realized who that person really was.What was he doing here this early?

Chapter 4

Alec has been searching all night long and he had still not found Vicki's locket.By now the sun had rose and he wondered if he was ever going to find it.But he didn't want to give up.Alec was still searching when he noticed a shadow in the sand approaching him.

Alec turned his head around to see Vicki.They stared at each other for a moment then Vicki bent down next to Alec.

Alec-what are you doing here so early Vicki?

Vicki-I should be the one asking you that,not me.

Alec-well........(looking down towards the golden sand)

Vicki-(a smile forming on her face)Thank you.....

Alec-(looking up)But........sorry........I couldn't find it for you

Vicki-Its okay, I can get another one...(even though she knows she will not find another one thats the same)...but Thank you.

Alec-but.......I thought it was really important--

Vicki-its okay....it was really sweet of you to stay here all night long and help me look for it.You must be tired.

Vicki-So,are you hungry?How about going for something to eat?

Alec-great idea,Im starving(standing back on their feet)

Alec-Is this all your going to do to repay me?(they both started to walk)

Vicki-Hey,don't be so greedy!What else do you want from me?

Alec-(smiling)hmmmmmmmm...........Im thinking....

Vicki took this chance to splash some water on Alec.

Alec-(taking a step back)You?!!?!!(then a smile spread on his face)

Vicki-(on seeing ALec's smile)What are you going to do?(while backing away from him)

So ALec kept splashing water on Vicki,while Vicki did what ever to get back at him.Then they started chasing each other.

Suddenly Vicki tripped and fell on the sand.Alec quickly ran up to Vicki to see if she was okay.

Alec-Vicki.....Are you okay?

Vicki-Its all your fault,you made me fall.

Alec-I did not make you fall....

Vicki-Yes......you did.....if you weren't chasing me then......

Alec-okay okay its was my fault.......i'll---

Vicki grinned as she shoved some sand at Alec..

Alec-Hey.....

Alec was about to get back up on his feet when he felt something underneath his hand in his palm.

Vicki-whats wrong(on seeing Alec not getting back at her)

Alec-(a smile spread across his face)Guess what I found(as he stood up and held out the item he found out so Vicki can see)

Vicki jumped off her feet in joy,she grabbed the necklace from Alec,staring at it.Then she suddenly rounded her arms around Alec's neck to give
him a hug.

Vicki-Thank you.......Thank you so much..

Alec was struck by shock,he did not expect this kind of reaction.She was so happy.And he was happy to see her so happy.He had to admit he
never have been this close to her before.

Vicki release hold of ALec

Vicki-Thank you...

Alec-(smiling)I guess you owe me more now huh?

Vicki-Of course...(still staring at her necklace)

Alec-Want me to help you put it back on?

Vicki-Yea,Thanks(as she handed the necklace to him and turned her back to face him and pull her hair to the front)

Alec-all done...

Vicki-(smiling)want to go get something to eat?My treat(as she still had one hand on the locket)

Alec-Sure......but let me ask you why i deserved all that sand that was almost in my face...

Vicki fasten her pace as she walked faster and alec chased behind questioning her as she tried to ignore him.

~Mr.Wong's Restaurant~(any1 member this place from part one?)

Alec-Is this place really good?

Vicki-Of course....its the best and............Mr Wong(as she noticed Mr.Wong come out from the kitchen)

Mr.Wong-Vicki........Is that really you?I heard you went to the states...

Vicki-I did Mr.Wong,just got back yesterday....oh..I got you a present too but its at home..

Mr.Wong-Its okay....So i see you brought a friend along huh?(looking over at ALec)

Vicki-Yes,Mr.Wong,This is Alec.Alec,Mr.Wong.

Mr.Wong-hello Alec....

Alec-Hi Mr.Wong...

Mr.Wong-So what would you couple like today??

Vicki-Mr.Wong....we're just friends

Mr.Wong-Really?You sure?

Vicki-Yes.....

Mr.Wong-okay then...what would you two like?

~At The Girl's Place~

Shirley-Hey Rub......wake up bright and early huh?

Ruby-Of course......its my first day in honk Kong again..

Shirley-yea.......where's Vicki?I would expect her to wake up earlier than any of us.(looking around)

Ruby-I don't know....I think she left pretty early...I heard some noise early this morning...

Shirley-Do you think she went for a jog?

Ruby-I don't know where she went.But she seem to have taken her car too.(taking out the carton of milk)

Shirley-oh...

Suddenly Vicki came in

Vicki-hey guys...(placing down her purse)

Shirley-Hey Vic,we were just talking about you...

Vicki-Something bad about me again huh?

Ruby-we were just wondering where you were off to, so early in the morning.

Vicki-Oh....I just dropped off at home to get something I forgot yesterday...

Ruby-really?(looking at Vicki suspiciously)

Vicki-yes.......by the way..where's Kristy?Is she still sleeping?

Shirley-You know her....if she doesn't have to work then she'll probably wake up around 11.

Ruby-you know Vic,its been a long time that we haven't gotten the chance to wake Kristy up(a smile forming her face)

Vicki-sounds fun,lets go....

Ruby and Vicki both jumped off there seat to go to Kristy's room,leaving Shirley by her self eating breakfast.

~In Kristy's Room~

The girls tiptoed into Kristy's room quietly.

Both girls sat on both side of the bed...Ruby held a big feather between her finger.As she lowered her hand so the tip of the feather would reached Kristy's nose.Kristy moved her arm in the air a couple of times.The girls decided it was time to try something else.Ruby sat her the edge of the bed waiting for Vicki.Vicki had were to the bathroom,wetted a towel with cold freezing water.She did not squeezed all the water out.Instead she put it in a bucket,and carried it to Kristy's room.

Vicki held up the dripping wet towel above Kristy's face ,as a few drops of wet water dripped down.Vicki began to twist the towel so all the water would come down.But she did it slowly so the moment was longer and funnier to watch.As the two sat there giggling.....the sleepy Kristy woke up because she felt something wet and cold dripping on her.As she opened her eyes,she say her two friends holding onto their stomach as they laugh away.They were up to one of their old tricks again.This trick wasn't used on Kristy for a long time.Kristy stood up,staring at her two friends.She knew both of them were very ticklish.She turned her head both ways,trying to see which one she wanted to take on first.She smiled as she walked over to vicki.Vicki suddenly stopped laughing as she looked at Kristy who was approaching her and she knew what was going to happen next.Giggles ,laughter and begging filled the air.

Later the girls headed down to join Shirley for breakfast.But Vicki didn't eat cause she was already full.

The girls decided to spend another day together.They were going to go shopping again.But they had to pick up Viviane and Eileen before they start.They also had to go give out all the presents to people...

Eileen-wow.....we brought so much.

Ruby-I haven't brought this much in such a long time.

Vicki-Sis,want to go check out that baby store across the street?

Everyone except Vicki and Eileen-Baby store?

Kristy-Eileen,your pregnant?

Shirley-are you?

Viviane-really?

Ruby-Why didn't you tell us..

Vicki-opps......I forgot to tell you guys...

Ruby-how many months is it Eileen?

Eileen-just two months..

kristy-lets go check out that store....baby clothes are so cute....

~IN THE BABY STORE~

Kristy-oh look,Isn't that outfit just adorable?

Viviane-I agree with you Kris.....

Vicki-hey Leen.....look,this baby crib is so nice

Eileen-yea...your right.

Ruby-how much is it?

Shirley-whoa(as she read the tag)Its so expensive.Just for a bed.

Eileen-come on you guys,lets go somewhere else..........its way to early to get these stuff.

So they left,planning to come back another time.

They shopped,shopped,ate and shopped.Once they got home all were tired.

Vicki was about to head up to her room to her computer when the phone rang.The others were in the kitchen eating and Ruby was sitting by the
sofa.Ruby picked it up.Vicki continued to go up.

Ruby-hello...

Guy-Ruby?This is Alec,can i speak to Vicki..

Ruby-oh hi ALec,of course you can..hold on...

Ruby-(covering the mouth piece)Vic.......! !

Vicki came down?

Vicki-yea?

Ruby-phone...

Vicki walked over to Ruby and took the phone from her.

Ruby-(whispered as she smiled)its ALEC

Vicki-Alec?

Ruby-yea...(as she turned back to watching "Old house has Joy"{Em toi}{Lau Fan yiu See}as she bit into a big red apple)

Vicki-hello....

Alec-Vicki?this is Alec...

Vicki-hi Alec...

Alec-hmmm......remember you owe me for finding the necklace for you?

Vicki-your greed is coming back.

Vicki-what do you want now?Any thing...just don't go over the line..

Alec-well,Im just asking you to spend the evening with me.....

Vicki-thats all?

Alec-uh huh....

Vicki-you sure that's all you want?

Alec-yes.....

Vicki-alright....

Alec-okay...I'll pick you up in an hour at 6...okay?

Vicki-okay...see you then..

Alec-okay...bye

Vicki-bye..

Vicki placed down the phone back to its spot as she turned to Ruby,who was staring at her with questions...

Chapter 5

Ruby-(smiling cheekily)Soooo?
Vicki-What...?(She turned around to head upstairs again)

Ruby-Vicki!!!!(as she jumped off the sofa)

Shirley-What's wrong?(as Shirley and Kristy entered the living room)

By this time Vicki had already made her way upstairs.

She lend against the white wooden door behind her.Then she spotted a string hanging out from under her bed.

She walked over to her bed and pulled on it.It was a umbrella.

Then she remembered,the rainy day when Alec drove her to the park to meet Ekin,which was also on Gigi's birthday.

FLASH BACK

Alec-we're here(stopping his car)

Alec-hello?

Alec-Vicki!

Vicki-huh?

Alec-we're here

Vicki-oh (she was about to get out)

Alec held on to her arm

Alec-take this(handing her an umbrella he got from the back seat)

Vicki-thanks(taking it then thinking back about what to say to Ekin)

Alec-hey, whats that guy doing out in the rain? (seeing a figure of a guy)

Vicki turned to look in the direction Alec was looking

END FLASH BACK

Vicki smiled as she remembered what happened.Then she thought of that embarrassing moment right before she went to Ekin. She was actually afraid to talk to Alec after that.

Vicki tucked the umbrella back under her bed. Suddenly her bed room door burst open and in came 3 girls.

Vicki-hey, haven't you girls ever heard of knocking.

Ruby-We're too close, to have to do that.

Kristy laid on Vicki's bed while Shirley sat on it hugging a pillow. And Ruby was sitting on Vicki's computer chair.

Vicki stood up...

Vicki-what now?

Ruby-you know what where in here to talk about.

Vicki went over and opened up her closet.

Vicki-I don't know.

Shirley-are you and Alec dating?

Ruby-When did he find out you were back?

Vicki-yesterday

Shirley-Vicki,you were out with Alec this morning weren't you?

Vicki-ummm.......yeah..but its no big deal.

Kristy-Are you and my brother dating

Vicki-no...I just owe him a favor..

Shirley-What did he say in the phone call?

Vicki-nothing........can i have some privacy for a moment?
(As she started to push her friends out)

Once her friends left she stood there deciding on what outfit to wear.

45 minutes later the door bell rang.

The girls giggled at guessing who was at the door. Kristy went to open the door.

Kristy-hello brother.

Alec-hey Kristy.....

Kristy-why are you here?

Alec-ummm.....im taking Vicki out.

Kristy suddenly pulled on Alec's arm as she dragged him in the house.The girls seated him on the sofa and then surrounded him with questions.

Kristy-Are you going out with Vicki?

Suddenly Vicki's voice came out from out of no where.

Vicki-Kris!

Kristy-Okay okay,I get the idea(as she went in the kitchen)

Shirley-we'll leave you two some privacy (as she pulled Ruby toward the kitchen)

Alec-That kristy.

Alec-(turning back to vicki)ready to go?

Vicki-yup....

Chapter 6

Alec opened the car door for Vicki
Vicki-Thank you(as she got in)
Alec went to the driver's side and got in.
Vicki-So what do you have planned?(putting on her seat belt)
Alec-oh just dinner...(as he started off the road)
Vicki-okay then.
Silence was left after that last sentence then VIcki remembered something.
Vicki-Ohh....I forgot it again.
Alec-forgot what?(turn to face Vicki then back at the road)
Vicki-Before i came back here,me and Ruby each brought gifts.I forgot yours again.
Alec-Its okay.Your already a great present.(said to him self quietly)
Vicki-What?
Alec-nothing....I just saying,you want to listen to some music.
Vicki-oh,sure
Alec turned on the radio,at first a song called,destiny came on then moments later it changed to,"Will you be mines"
Alec-This song again.
Vicki-yea...
Vicki closed her eyes as she leaned back on her seat and let the soft music take her away
Alec-(still concentrating on the road ahead)So how's WeiWei
Vicki's eyes shot open as a smile form her on her face.
Vicki-She's doing quite well actually....how's Tommy doing?
Alec-He's doing okay too....(smiling)
Alec-You think they will ever get a chance with each other?
Vicki-(turned to look at Alec,he smiled at her then turned back to the road)Oh i don't know..lets just see how he treats her.Maybe he might get a chance.
Alec-(turn to her)Really?
Vicki-What?
ALec-I might get a chance?
Vicki-What are you talking about.
Vicki-I thought we were talking about Tommy and Weiwei.Your not Tommy!
Alec broke out into a laugh and soon Vicki joined him
Alec-Vicki,you know what Im trying to say.
Vicki-I don't know,really.(as she looked at the road ahead of her)
Alec pulled to a stop at the front of a movie theatre.
Vicki-Oh..so we're going to see a movie huh?
Alec-yup...
Vicki-Which one are we seeing?(getting out of the car)
Alec-Don't know(walking over to her side)
Vicki and ALec-how about that one.
They turn to look at each other.
Alec-guess we'll be watching that one then(smiling)
Vicki-yea...
They walked over to the counter to get two tickets
Alec-why don't you go in and find seats first.
Vicki-okay,meet you in there
Vicki walked in first while Alec went to get drinks and popcorn
After the movie,Outside.
Vicki-That movie was really funny...
Alec-yea...
They got in the car and soon arrive at a fancy Restaurant
Vicki-Oh...so this is our next stop.
Alec-uh huh.
They walked into the Restaurant
Waiter-hi,How many seats?
Alec-two please
Waiter-Right this way.
They followed the waiter to a seat beside the window.
Waiter-What would you like for today?
ALec-give me a dish of rice and chicken
Vicki-and i'll have a Caesar salad.
Waiter-any thing to drink with that?
Vicki-I'll have a cup of water
Alec-I'll have a some orange juice(i no weird)
Waiter-anything else
Alec-nope
Waiter-Your dishes will be here soon..(the waiter turned and left)
Vicki-(looking around)this is a nice place...
Vicki-How come i never knew about it?
Alec-They just built it when you were in US.
Vicki-oh...
Alec-(getting back to that subject)So Tommy does get a chance huh?
Vicki-I don't know...(smiling)
Alec-So does Alec get a chance with Vicki?
Vicki-thought we were talking bout Tommy,why now Alec?
Alec-Oh i was just wondering if ALec would get a chance.
Vicki-okay.....(looking at him straight in the eye)well you do know that this is just friends going out not a date right?
Alec-I know but......
Vicki-lets change the--(Vicki's attention was on someone in the corner of the restaurant)
They eyes locked as the guy in the corner stood up from his seat and starting walking over to Vicki's table.
Alec noticed Vicki didn't finish her sentence and she was staring at something.He turned around to see what she was staring at.
Vicki and Alec suddenly stood up.
ALec-hey man,how's it going?
Ekin-Hey,fine....(as he turn to face Vicki)
Ekin-(smiling)now who is this lovely lady you have with you?
Vicki-your so mean,you don't recognize me?
Ekin-Vicki!Of course i recognize you...how can i not.
They hugged.
Ekin-So when did you get back?
THey all sat down.
Vicki-a few days ago....
Ekin-oh....and you didn't come and visit me?
Vicki-I would have but there's a certain person here that just likes to travel.
Ekin-okay...my fault.
Ekin-but im not the only person that travels.
Ekin-So how was US.....we didn't even get one letter from you Vicki
Vicki-US was okay.....but i like here more of course.
Ekin-Are you staying back here for good this time?
Vicki-actually me and Rub are just here on a business trip.(the excitement drained from her voice)
Alec-your not staying?(disappointed)
Vicki-I don't think so....
Ekin-how long are you staying then?
Vicki-couple months.....
Their meals came to them.
Alec-hey Ekin,what are you doing here?
Ekin-oh im suppose to meet someone here....
Alec-A girl?
Ekin-how did you guess(being sarcastic)
Ekin-And you are here on a date with Vicki i suppose.(looking at Alec then Vicki)
Vicki gave Ekin a look and he backed off.
Ekin-well i'll leave you guys alone.....bye...
Vicki and Alec-bye.
Alec-(turning back to Vicki)So your just staying for a couple months?
Vicki-Two to be exact....

Chapter 7

Vicki unlocked her front door  as she was about to walk in.Alec had just said goodbye and had left.Oh why did she feel weird when seeing Ekin with a girl at the other table?What was this feeling?was she Jealous.No it couldn't be.....She wasn't really sure if Alec still had feelings for her but she really didn't want to hurt him.She didn't want to loose a friend.Was she giving him the wrong idea?She thought it would be the best to not start a relationship because it might not work out and instead she would loose a good friend.Her feet was sore from wearing those black heels she just brought.The house was quiet.The girls must be asleep then.Vicki tiptoed upstairs and into her room.She dropped her self on her bed.Just about to close her eyes and take a 5 minute nap...

Ruby-Vic?i need to talk to you,can i come in?

Vicki-come in

Ruby-(opening the door)so how was you night?

Vicki-okay(sitting up from her bed)

Ruby-Was it a date?

Vicki-no.....(Vicki said exhaustedly)

Ruby-You look really tired.

Vicki just shook her head in agreement.

Ruby-okay i'll tell you tomorrow.Get some rest.(standing up)

Vicki-Its okay,im not planning to go to bed yet.

Ruby-you sure?

Vicki-yup.

Ruby-well okay then(sitting back down beside Vicki)

Vicki-now what did you have to tell me.

Ruby-well just wanted to have a girls talk since we haven't for quite awhile.

Vicki-About Louis,isn't it?

Ruby-(nodded slowly)

Vicki-you have to invite him out and talk to him....

Ruby-but...

Vicki-I know you miss him a lot Rub.

Vicki-the real reason you came back here is because you wanted to see him

Vicki-So why don't you make the use of this time.Hey maybe you'll stay here after all.

Ruby-But I don't even know if we still have a chance,I mean what if he only sees me as a friend now.

Vicki-Trust me,he wants a chance with you too.

Ruby-how do you know?

Ruby-he told you?

Vicki-no,no.Alec told me.

Ruby-oh.........okay what about you,what was your real reason of coming back here?

Vicki-real reason?My family and the fashion show we are holding.

Ruby-Thats all?

Vicki-yup...

Ruby-What about Alec?

Vicki-me and him are just friends.

Ruby-but i think he still likes you.

Vicki-(shaking her head)Its not possible.We will never work out.

Ruby-Vic,.....

Vicki-uh huh?

Ruby-You really grew more mature.

vicki-yeah,i know

Ruby-Im going to go to bed now.(standing up)

Vicki-good night.

Ruby-night(closing the door)

Vicki got up,and went to take a shower.Half an hour later she went downstairs to the kitchen,got herself a cup of coffee and went back upstairs
to work on some of her new designs.

Vicki soon fell asleep on her desk.

THE NEXT MORNING

~THE GUY'S PLACE~****Its been a long time since i didn't rite about the morning at the guy's place****

Nicky and Louis walked out of their bedrooms at the same time.

Louis-Hey.

Nicky-Hey..(yawn)

Then they stared at each other.Suddenly both were racing for the washroom.They both reached there at the same time.They started pushing
each other in and out.

Louis-Nic!You always take forever.

Nicky-No i don't.

Louis-Let me use it before you for once.

Nicky-no.....

Louis-Kristy ? ? ?

Nicky turned around

Louis took this chance to run for it.He quickly closed the bathroom door behind him.

Nicky-Hey Man!

Nicky walked over to the living room and sat down on the couch turning the television on.

Benny-Hey!

Nicky-hey.

Alec-(coming out from his room)What all the noise about?

Nicky-man,I seriously think we should get another bathroom!

Benny-arguing over the bathroom AGAIN?

nicky-yea....That Louis guy tricked me...one bathroom is not enough for 4 people.

Alec-how did he trick you?

Nicky-he said Kristy was her....---

Alec-what?Finish your sentence...

Alec-Don't tell me you have something for my sister.You better not.(eyeing him)

Nicky-I don't...trust me

Alec-you bett--

At this time Louis came out and Nicky quickly ran for the bathroom

Alec-that guy........

Benny-stop worrying Alec,he wouldn't dare mess with your sister.

Alec-Im going to go for a run later.....you guys want to join me?

Louis-i'll come along.

Suddenly the phone rang.

Alec picked it up..

Alec-hello?

Girl-hello,can I speak to Louis please.

Alec-Vicki?

Vicki-oh,hi Alec

Vicki-is Louis there?

Alec-yea....umm hold on.....

Alec-(covering the mouth of the phone)Louis!

Louis-what?(coming out from his bedroom)

Alec-phone

Louis took the phone from Alec

Louis-hello?

Vicki-Louis?This is Vicki....

Louis-Oh hi Vicki.......

Vicki-Am i disturbing you in any way?

Louis-no,not at all.

Alec was watching and listening as Louis spoke to Vicki.He wondered what they were talking about.

Louis-okay sure......meet you later then....bye..

Louis placed the phone back to its spot and just was about to go back to what he was doing when Alec started questioning him.

Alec-hey Lou.what did Vicki want to talk to you about?

Louis-none of your business.....

Alec-What do you mean none of my bu-------i mean....umm i was just wondering....

Louis-(at this point got what was going on)well fine,since your a friend of mines.I'll tell you.

Louis-(whispering to Alec)Vicki and I have a date today.

Alec-What?

Louis on seeing the look on Alec's face couldn't hold it any longer and started to burst up into laughter as he also made his way back in his
room.

AT NOON

In a cafe,Vicki was sitting there stirring her cup of coffee while waiting of Louis to show up.

Louis soon entered the cafe....

Vicki waved as Louis came in.....he walked over to the table.

Louis-sorry for keeping you waiting

Vicki-Its okay.....I just got here..

the waiter walked up to him.

Waiter-What would you like sir?

Louis-ummm........I'll just have a cup of coffee.

Waiter-be right with you sir.

Louis-(turning back to Vicki)now what did you have to talk to me about?

Vicki-(looking up)Ruby

Louis-Ruby?

Vicki-yes....

Louis-Is she in any sort of trouble or something?

Vicki-yup..very big trouble....

Louis-can I do anything to help?

Vicki-well I want to ask you if you still care for Ruby like before.

Louis was stunned at her question.He sat there thinking.

Louis-I....i....have to admit...my feelings for her never changed.

Louis-I made a big mistake a year ago.

Vicki-you don't know how happy I am to hear that.

Vicki-And im sure Ruby will be just as happy.

Louis-What really is her problem.

Vicki-Well after what you just told me.....I don't think its isn't that serious.

Louis gave Vicki a blank look

Vicki-Well..Im just trying to help you guys get back together.

Vicki-Louis,Ruby still has feelings for you.....and you do too.

Vicki-I really think you guys are meant to be....

Louis-Ruby.....?

Louis-she still feels the same way for me?

Vicki nodded

Vicki-So......i think you should make the first move and im sure she will agree...I'll help you.

Vicki-Ruby can be stubborn some times

Louis-You will?Really?

Vicki-Of course.Your both my friend and I want you both to be happy......together.

Louis-thank you Vicki.

Vicki-Looks like im going to be going back to US by myself now.....

Louis-what about you and Alec?

Vicki-Me and alec?(giving out a small chuckle)

Vicki-Me and Alec are just friends....how come everyone seems to get the wrong idea.

Louis-Doesn't Alec get even a little chance?

Vicki shook her head.

Vicki-we're just friends.
