Chapter 1

"Alright I'm up!' Yongqi sat up seeing that Xiao Yan Zhi was still sleeping he looked at her lovingly and was happy that he finally married her through everything that had happend. He gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Xiao Yan Zhi woke up slightly and gave Yong Qi the biggest smile ever, 'morning, hey lets go to hui bing lou because I miss Zhi Wei so much' Xiao Yan Zhi quickly said jumping off the bed again forgetting that their wedding dress was tied together.

BUMP Xiao Yan Zhi fell on the floor. 'ouch! these wedding dresses are so annoying' She said as she began to untie the knot.

Yongqi instantly got out of bed, pulled Xiao Yan Zhi over to him and quickly examined her to see if she was hurt.
'I'm OK, quickly get dressed because we need to go to Hui Bing Lou to see everybody' Xiao Yan Zhi explained.
Upon hearing Hui Bing Lou these three words Yongqi remembered something ' Xiao Yan Zhi we can't go to Hui Bing Lou because we have to meet Huang ah ma and Lao Fe Ye for the wedding rituals in the mornings and we are late!' Yongqi said as he started looking for his best costume for the ceremony

'Lets go back, I'm feeling pretty tired after all those rituals, all i want to do now is go to our toom and go to sleep' Xiao Yan Zhi murmered with a yawn.

'This is the best night in my whole life, I'm finally married to the one girl I love' Yongqi thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

'Zhi Wei ge ge dao, Fu Da ren dao' an enunach announced as Xiao Yan Zhi and Wu ah Ge were having breakfast. After hearing this Xiao Yan Zhi got out of her chair and hopped over to Zhi Wei and gave her a big hug.
'Zhi Wei I'm so happy you came here today, I missed you so much'Xiao Yan Zhi said as she danced with Zhi Wei in circles.

'I know lets all go to Hui Bing Lou today and meet everyone' Er Kang suggested knowing that it would make Zhi Wei happy to see Jin suo and Xiao Yan Zhi happy to see her brother and her friends.

'Ok lets go' Yongqi said 'but Xiao Yan Zhi and i have to get permission from Huang ah ma first' they the couple went to see Huang ah ma who accepted their request. Yongqi and Xiao Yan Zhi dressed up into commoners clothes and set out to Hui Bing Lou.

Chapter 2

Xiao Jian looked around, he looked behind Xiao Yan Zhi, then he ran to the door to look outside. Xiao yan zhi wondered who Xiao Jian was looking for 'Xiao Jian who are you looking for...? xiao yan zhi asked even though she had the slightest idea who he might be looking for... Qing Er.

'er..umm.. no one' Xiao jian stuttered. 'would you be looking for Qing Er' Xiao yan zhi teased him. Her brother ignored her and everyone continued to talk to each other happily until it was time that Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei, Yong Qi, and Er Kang had to go back home. Everyone bid them a 'goodbye' and they left.

Just as Xiao yan zhi and Yong Qi reached their room there was an announcement. 'Huang Shang jia dao' an enuanch announced 'Huang ah ma jixiang' they both chorsed. 'Xiao yan zhi, yongqi there will be a ceremony tomorrow to welcome two kings who will be accompanied by a prince or a pricess from two different countries they will be here to observe our countries, I want everyone to behave especially you Xiao Yan zhi' huang ah ma said teasingly. '

'how long will they be staying?' Xiao yan zhi asked starting to worry if some woman might fall for Er Kang again. "I'm not very sure yet?' was a reply 'yongqi, I want you and Er Kang to participate in a kung fu match the day after they arrive, they will have 5 warriors and we will have Er kang, you and two others'. 'yes huang ah ma, I'll do my best'Yong qi was proud to be chosen as one of the warriors.

'Xiao yan zhi I've saved a place for Zhi Wei and you to come and watch because i knew you would love to watch these kinds of preformances just like the last time with the king of tibet and princess saiya' huang ah ma said with a little laugh. 'Xiao yan zhi thanks huang ah ma' Xiao yan zhi said as she knelt down in front of the emperor before jumping up and down in joy and happiness.

As they got to the palace the emperor and all his family were standing outside waiting to greet them just like when the king of Tibet and Princess Saiya came. 'welcome, welcome' the emperor greeted the two kings. 'These are my sons' huang shan pointed at yongqi and the other sons 'and these are my daughters' he pointed at xiao yan zhi, zhi wei and the others.

'Very nice to meet you HuangShang, I am King Ah Man and daughter Li Wan' the king Ah Man introduced himself.

' I am King Wang Qi and son Li Jing' king Wang Qi said.

'Hey the prince Li jing looks kinda cute dosen't he?' Xiao yan zhi teased Yong Qi as she nudged him in the ribs. Yong Qi took a deep breath and turned away.

As princess Li Wan was examining the group of people she came across someone who she thought was quite charming. She instantly fell for him he was like a heaven made man for her as she never fell for a man like that before. Princess li Wan wondered to herself 'who was this charming young man?was he a prince?'.

Just then she turned to her father 'since you love me really much, do you care if i marry someone here?' Li Wan said blushing. 'but honey you have never like any of the suitors back home, I begin to see lil' Li wan maturing quickly, who is it' her father teased her.

Li Wan whispered where the man she admired was standing and giggled a little. 'I'll talk to Huang Shang for you tommorrow' King Ah Man said seriously.
Hearing this her heart beated faster and faster 'no..no I want to know if he really loves me first, but I hope he will' She whispered to her father blushing every time.

'Are you sure this is what you want my precious daughter li wan?' her father suddenly asked, Li Wan nodded.
"alright, alright tell me when you do find out and I'll arrange a wedding as soon as possible' Ah Man was so happy to be getting such a good son-in-law.

'Come in, come in to my humble palace have a seat and we'll start discusing' Huang shang said as he started walking into the guest lounge. 'Er Kang, yongqi take princess Li Wan to her room and help her unpack' Huang Shang summoned. 'and Xiao yan zhi and Zhi wei take Prince li Jing to his room since it is near your room xiao yan zhi' Huang shang nodded his head as a signal to go.

They set off to their destinations.

When Er Kang and yong Qi had taken Li Wan back they said' Princess Li Jing if you need anything just call us' and Er kang and Yong Qi left.

When Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei left Li jing back in his room. Zhi Wei told Li Jing that if he needs anything just call and maids and servants will assist you'. The two girls left.

Li Wan had found out her mystery mans name she laid on her bed and started to imagine what it would be like to get married with him and how charming and nice he would be as a husband and probably a father she blushed.

At the same time Li Jing had never thought he would grow feeling for a princess so far from his home. He imagined her face beautiful, intelligent, and very clever. She was more beautiful than any girl he'd seen before. More than he imagined. Did she like him, li jing thought probably she did since she was so nice to him! He thought of her every second and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Chapter 3

Li Jing dressed in his most handsome outfit and swore to impress his most loved one. He was practising how to greet her 'should i say hi how ya doing or shoul i say hello nice to meet you but so formal?' He got a little migrain just trying to think of what to say.

But just when they finished dressing themselves up. At the same time Li Jing and li Wan gave a big sigh.

Li Jing sighed and said ' Xiao Yan Zhi what a wonderful name for a wife'.

Li wan sighed and said 'Er Kang What a wonderful yet so charming name for a perfect gentleman'

Xiao Yan Zhi woke up with Yong Qi and went to breakfast.
An enuanch announced 'Zhi Wei Ge Ge dao, Fu da ren Dao'. Zhi Wei and Er Kang joined Xiao Yan Zhi and Yong Qi for breakfast.

'Hey lets go shopping with Prince Li Jing and Princess Li Wan since they are new we'll take them on a sort of like a tour around out city plus they can come night shopping with us, can we please?' Xiao yan zhi Pleaded with a really innocent look to the other three, Yong Qi looked at Er Kang and Er Kang looked at Zhi Wei and Zhi wei nodded.

'OK but first you must ask Huang ah ma for permission' Zhi Wei agreed.

'I'll get li jing and you get ji Wan' Yong Qi suggested.

'no you go get Li wan and I'll go get Li jing since i know where he lives while Zhi Wei and Er Kang go home and Inform Xiao Jian that we will be coming OK, lets go...' Xiao Yan zhi had already started out the door.

Xiao Yan zhi found Li Jing walking around cluelessly. 'Hey Li Jing over...here' Xiao Yan ZHi said as she caught up to him running out of breath. 'Hello Huanzhugege nice to meet you, can i help you?' Li Jing said in his most heart melting voice.

'I'm going to take you on a tour around our city and i want to come night shopping as well, do you want to come?' Xiao Yan Zhi said as she looked at time with her big eyes.

Li Jing was so happy both on the outside and really happy on the inside. He thought to himself 'she is asking me to come with her to night shopping as well'. He just stared at her while he was daydreaming.

"li jing are you ok, do you not want to come with me?' Xiao Yan Zhi asked.

'no it would be a honor to come with you to shopping and go on a tour HuanZhuGeGe' Li jing broke out of his Day dream and quickly replied.

"please call me Xiao Yan Zhi' She said giving him the biggest and most beautific smile ever. 'OK xiao Yan Zhi I'll come with you' Li jing said as he was really glad he could call his loved girl by her name.

The name 'Xiao Yan Zhi' was floating in his head while he walked with Xiao Yan Zhi to meet the others.

Meanwhile, Yong Qi knocked on the door of Li Wan's room. She opened her door shocked to find and Yong Qi at her own door. 'Yes my i help you' she said in a shy but unsuspecting voice. 'Er Kang wanted you to come along with us on a tour of our city and you could also come night shopping with us as well' Yong Qi spoke.

'Sure i'd love to go on a tour and also go night shopping' Li wan said as she was really happy to have Er Kang coming along with them. She wanted to find a perfect chance to get close to him and find out if she could be with him and then Li Wan thought again she smiled to herself and thought 'and this outing would be the perfect chance'.

She got some money and headed out with Yong Qi to find the others.

When Yong Qi got there Xiao yan Zhi was already there talking to Li Jing. Er Kang got the carraige ready and they all went aboard.

All through the trip to Hui Bing lou Li Jing and Xiao Yan Zhi talked with each other non-stop about this and about that about the city and about Li Jings hometown. Yong Qi got a little jealous of this but he remembered that he must trust Xiao Yan Zhi.

Chapter 4

Xiao Jian hurried out thinking that she was talking about meeting Qing Er but was a little disappointed about finding out it wasn't Qing Er he was going to meet but a prince and a princess.

'Xiao yan zhi long time no see, come inside and talk, liu Qing, Liu Hong, and Jin Suo are waiting for you all' Xiao Jian invited them all into the hui Bing Lou. Yong Qi had been quiet all through the trip Xiao Jian sensed something was wrong but kept it to himself just in case it was a misunderstanding.

Xiao yan zhi helped Zhi Wei and Li Wan off the carrage and ran inside giving Liu hong and Jin Suo a great big hug.

'What a caring princess who puts others first before herself' thought Li jing as he was mesmerised by her beauty and generousity towards others. He stared at her from the carrage just like his eyes were frozen like that unable to move them away.

Yong qi was going to invite Li jing in but he noticed Li Jing's gaze towards Xiao yan zhi it was like he admires her or something thought yongqi. Yong Qi's face expression changed immeditely as Li Jings eyes never left Xiao yan zhi.

Er Kang was watching all this. He noticed the change in Yongqi and quickly tried to find out a way of distracting him from jealousy just like when yongqi thought Xiao Jian liked Xiao Yan Zhi.

'Yong Qi, Er Kang and Li Jing come in and join the fun and talk' they could hear Xiao yan zhi yell as she ran to them with Zhi Wei and Li Wan following her. Xiao yan zhi stepped into a hole and twisted her ankle. 'Xiao Yan zhi are you OK?' the three of them asked in unison. Yong Qi ran up to her and rested her arm on his shoulder so she could walk properly.

As they were about to walk in to Hui Bing Lou Li Jing told Yong Qi to put Xiao Yan Zhi down on the ground and he could heal her foot. Yongqi agreed and put her down. Li Jing put her ankle in his hands and slightly twisted it so you could hear a crack.

'there that should be better now, try and walk' Li jing said as he stood up suporting her up. Xiao yan zhi took a couple of steps and then jumped up into the air and landed again. 'Li Jing I don't know how to thank you enough, it feels as if nothing has happened to my ankle before' she said as she gave Li Jing a soft punch on the shoulder and a great big beautiful smile.

'She likes me' was all li Jing could think about all the way. Yongqi however was grateful of him for healing Xiao yan zhi foot but also feeling jealous.

Li Wan was not at all that happy that night because Xiao Yan Zhi kept her away from Er Kang all this time when this was the night to express her love to this very charming Er Kang.

As everyone was seating around the big table Xiao yan zhi held a toast to Li Wan and Li Jing. Li wan kept a loving look and loving smiles at Er Kang which was gone unnoticed by Xiao Yan Zhi, Yongqi, Er Kang, and especially Zhi Wei.

'OK since we have special guest tonight why don't we play a game of Charades in pairs, do you want to choose or to pick out of the hat?' Xiao yan zhi said as she turned to Li wan and Li Jing.

'Choose out of the hat, is it okay?'Li Jing and Li Wan said at the same time.

Yongqi, Er Kang and Zhi wei knew what this meant but Xiao yan zhi didn't suspect a thing at all.

Xiao yan zhi randomly choose the pairs out of the hat with out looking. The pairs were Li Jing and herself, Er Kang and Li Wan, Zhi Wei and Yong qi.

Zhi Wei looked at Er Kang and Er Kang shot a glance at Yongqi who shrugged his shoulders.

Everyone was not happy at their partners but Li jing and Li Wan who were very happy to be with the person they loved. 'Let the games begin...' Xiao yan zhi said as they went first.

At the end Xiao yan zhi and Li Jing won the whole game. 'Tian ah, we won we won I won for the first time' Xiao yan zhi said as she jumped around Li Jing who smiled at her lovingly which she didn't notice.

'Yong Qi, see you should learn what Li Jing can do, Li Jing can guess and I can act we make a good team huh?' Xiao yan zhi teased Yong qi.

Yongqi could feel the anger build inside him just as Xiao yan zhi said this, 'what am i going to do?' He asked himself

Chapter 5

Yongqi was not the only one who was depressed and worried. Er Kang was just the same because Li Wan had kept talking to him about things that just didn't interest him and she kept hanging around him.

Zhi Wei was also feeling abit awkward because she had a strong feeling that Li Wan was in love with Er Kang but she wasn't sure if he liked her back.

Xiao yan zhi was in too much fun to realise that Li Jing liked her, she thought he was a really good brother and she thought that he thought the same as well. The others watched Xiao yan zhi admire and get stunned at the magic tricks Li Jing preformed to her.

The end of the day seemed to go for a decade. Er Kang, Zhi Wei and Yong qi were waiting for this time of the day that finally came. Xiao yan zhi walked up to yongqi and asked him a question that he could surely answer straight away but then might cause everyone to suspect that he was jealous, ' Yongqi did you have fun tonight?' Xiao yan zhi asked and Yongqi gave a fake but quick answer 'yes'.

Zhi Wei and Er Kang walked home that night. Er Kang knew that Zhi Wei misunderstood everything she thought that Er Kang did actually like this Li Wan but he didn't.

As Xiao yan zhi, yongqi, Li wan and Li Jing reached the palace gate LiJing bid xiao yan Zhi a handsome goodbye and Li Wan just said good bye as she was really happy to get close with Er Kang. Then Li Jing said 'Xiao Yan zhi see you tomorrow at the Kungfu contest'

Yongqi looked at Xiao yan zhi worriedly but she didn't notice him and just smiled back to Li Jing. Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi made their way back to their room while Xiao yan zhi babbled on about Li Jing's wonderful skills.

Yongqi couldn't take it anymore he felt like he was about to explode 'I don't care about Li Jing I don't care if he has special abilities why do i care anyway! If you like him so much why don't you go to him now!' Yongqi blurted out.

Xiao yan zhi just stared at him she was beginning to get angry 'What is wrong with you Can't i be nice to anyone and Can't anyone be nice to me?!' She yelled back and ran away somewhere.

Yongqi took a deep breath and he ran to Xiao yan zhi and his room and drifted off to sleep alone. While Xiao Yan zhi went to sleep in Shu Fang Zai.

Yongqi woke up in the morning shocked to find Xiao Yan zhi hadn't come back yet so he put on new clothes and went to Shu Fang Zai. Xiao deng zhi was outside 'have you seen GeGe?' Yongqi asked hoping that she would be in there. 'Yes, she slept over here last night' Xiao deng Zhi replied.

Yong qi walked inside to find Xiao Yan Zhi eating breakfast expressionless. He sat beside her and pulled her sleeve so she could get his attention but stubbornly she turned away. She tried saying sorry but still she wouldn't forgive him.
'Xiao yan zhi I was wrong and I am dreadfully sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you I was just... alittle..worried thats all' he said. 'Why were you worried?' Xiao yan zhi said trying to act like she didn't care.

'I..I..eh.. was thinking about today's competition!' Yongqi said because he didn't want Xiao yan zhi to find out he was jealous ' and alittle about Li Jing' Xiao yan zhi concluded. Yongqi stared at her and she smiled back 'He is my good friend, but nothing can ever replace my wonderful husband'

Yongqi and Xiao Yan Zhi ate breakfast lovingly and after they finished breakfast they both set off to the mighting match which was going to begin shortly. Li wan was sitting with Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei and Li Jing was standing amongst Yong qi and Er Kang who were all going to fight.

First up was Yong qi against Mong tie ( a big strong tough guy known for his strength ) Yong qi kicked his chest but no weakness then he kicked there harder but still no weakness. 'Go Yongqi, Go Yongqi' Xiao yan zhi yelled as she waved her hand at him. With this encoragement he kicked Mong Tie in the face and sent him flying off the stage. 'Victory goes to Yong qi' the enuanch announced.

Second was Er Kang against Mong yen ( a small yet clever guy known for his speed and agility ) Mong yen kicked Er Kang in the leg really fast, Zhi wei was really worried something might happen to them but princess Li Wan was cheering Er Kang on to win. Zhi Wei looked at Xiao yan zhi and she just patted Zhi Wei on the shoulder. Meanwhile, Er kang had thought of a plan he just 'he gong'(flying up in the air) and confused Mong yen who then didn't know where Er Kang was then suddenly kicked him in the back and Mong Yen fainted.

All warriors kept battling until all the Emperors warriors won most of the games.

The last final game was against Yongqi and Li Jing.
'I'll do this for you Xiao yan zhi' Li jing said as he kept looking up to her before the match started.
'To my one and only wife Xiao yan zhi, and to prove I'm better than this Li Jing!' thought yongqi as he shot a sharp glance at Li Jing.

Xiao yan zhi smiled at Yong qi but Li Jing thought she was smiling at him and he smiled back. ' i'll try even harder for your wonderful smile' Li Jing said to himself.

'Let the match begin against Yongqi and Li Jing' the enuanch announced.

Chapter 6

The both of them had kungfu at just about the same level. So they had fought for a long time with no signs of who was going to lose or who had the advantage of winning yet.

Suddenly to Yongqi's surprise Li Jing had kicked his hand and he had dropped his spear. Then now yongqi had to use his own kungfu ability to defend and try and defeat Li Jing at the same time.

Zhi Wei and Er Kang are really worried because they know that the match against Li Jing and yong qi isn't just a friendly match it's a match to impress Xiao yan zhi and one of them HAS TO LOSE.

Yongqi and Li Jing fought until they both ended up gripping onto each other's neck. Er Kang seeing this, jumps in between them and yells 'it's a draw'. Yongqi lookes at Li Jing and Li Jings looks back coldly as now he knows that Yongqi also likes Xiao Yan Zhi. Yongqi could see that the expression on Li Jing's face says 'let's see who is the best'.

Xiao yan zhi runs down to the two and says in her most enthusiastic voice 'Li Jing you were great!' before turning to Yongqi 'you were great too!' and gave him a great big hug.

Li Jing was a little jealous at that. 'Wu ah ge it was nice fighting with you, you are a truly talented man to have kungfu so good' Li Jing said as he turned and walked off.

Li Wan was sitting there amazed that Er Kang was so brave to save Li Jing and Yongqi from furthering injuring themselves. 'What a man, where can i ever find someone like him again, I must have him as my own!' Li wan thought to herself as she gave a quick sidelong glance at Zhi Wei.

The three kings laughed and said that, that was the greatest match ever. The emperor decided to hold a banquet for everyone and everyone must attend. The emperor summoned a maid to notify Li Jing that he must come to the banquet tonight.

Everyone was happy that the match was over and everyone was OK.

(In Li Jing's room)

'I must win Xiao yan zhi's love for my self and not that Yongqi' Li Jing swore to himself that he will impress Xiao yan zhi no matter what. He found out that he is invited to this banquet and Xiao yan zhi would surely be there. He smiled and looked for a breath taking outfit to wear.

Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi walked to their room hand in hand. When they got there Xiao yan zhi turned to him and said in a very worried voice ' do you think that li Wan likes Er Kang if so we must get someone else for her or else Zhi Wei would be truly sad' water piled into her eyes just thinking of Zhi Wei sad.

'I think so too did you see the way Li Wan was looking at him all through the day when we were at Hui Bing Lou?' Yongqi said as he quickly recalled that moment.

'All well we have to talk about that a later time because we have a banquet to go to, let's get dressed' Xiao yan zhi beamed as she cheered up alittle. When they got dressed they set off to the banquet room.

They spent the whole night at the banquet. Li Jing was trying to impress Xiao yan zhi alot of times and Li Wan at the same time was trying to know more about Er Kang. Zhi Wei although was faithful to Er Kang this time she got jealous of Li Wan and had a misunderstanding that maybe Er Kang likes Li Wan. Er Kang gave her a loving glance and Zhi Wei turned around and talked to Xiao Yan zhi instead, Er Kang noticed something was wrong.

Xiao Yan zhi and Zhi Wei excused themselves from the banquet and went to talk to the Unhappy Zhi Wei privetly about her suspicions.

Chapter 7

'Are you sure I mean maybe Li Wan just wants to get friendly because she doesn't have any REAL friends around the palace lately' Xiao yan zhi tried to comfort her by saying the opposite to what she thought really happend.

Meanwhile Er Kang stood outside the door of the room Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei were in and figured out how to explain to Zhi Wei that he did not like Li Wan (he did not know that the girls were in there). Xiao yan zhi heard Er Kang sigh and she told Zhi Wei to keep quiet so they could see what was going on outside.

A shy girl's voice said 'Oh Er Kang I was looking for you, I'm worried that something might have happend to you' this girl's voice sounded so worried. 'It's Li Wan' Zhi Wei whispered to Xiao yan zhi. 'Umm.. Li Wan jixiang' Er Kang stuttered.

'No need to be so formal just call me by my name because I have something important to tell you I was going to tell you along time ago but I..I.. was kinda shy' Li Wan blushed at saying this.

'I have to look for Zhi..' Er Kang said quickly as he turned around about to go. He felt a hug around his back. 'Er Kang I'm in love with you, father said that i can marry you. I have never fell for a man that is as charming as you before. I have had alot of men wanting me to marry them but i have not chosen until now...' She said uncontrollably. 'But Li Wan I...ya...' He was interuppted by Li Wan.

'I know you love me I saw you all the time, you smiled at me and you helped me' She said looking deep into his eyes. Er Kang didn't know what to say he was about to say that he loved Zhi Wei only and that he is married to her but Zhi Wei opened the door and slapped Er Kang on the face she also said before she ran away 'I don't ever want to see you again, go stay with Li Wan!' with that she ran off crying. 'Wait give me a chance to explain...' his voice just trailed on in the silent wind.

xiao yan zhi stepped out of the room. She was a angry as anything could be to see her dear sister being tricked. 'Er Kang and i treated you like a brother, I trusted you to take care to Zhi Wei how could you!' she telled at him and also took off.

Just then Er Kang began to run after them but Li Wan was tugging his arm, his waved his arm to losen her but instead she flung off and her head hit the wall, she fainted.

Er Kang had no other way so he had to carry her to her room and call Hu Tai Yi (the imperial doctor). Once Hu Tai Yi came in, Er Kang wanted to leave but Hu Tai Yi suggested that it would be best if someone was here with her so she could get better quicker and if she needs some aisstance, 'It is perfurred to have someone close to her to stay with her' with this Hu Tai Yi left.

Er Kang stayed with her for 4 days and 4 nights without leaving her side because he felt guilty for injuring her in the first place. But he was still worried about Zhi Wei and he couldn't leave Li Wan because she was still unconcious. 'This is a disaster' he thought to himself.

Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei shared a bed while Yong qi slept in the study. Yongqi was told of everything that happend by Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei. Xiao yan zhi didn't want to talk to him and Zhi wei didn't want to talk to him either or see him or even go near him.

Yongqi told them that maybe it was a misunderstanding! but Xiao yan zhi protested that it wasn't, she heard with her own two ears 'are you going on to Er Kang's side' Xiao yan zhi asked as she glared at him. 'No...no just want to make sure only' he said as he calmed Xiao yan zhi from getting angry and Zhi Wei from crying.

'If this was a misunderstanding, why isn't Er Kang telling Zhi Wei the truth now, He is probably at Li Wan side now telling her how wonderful it is to be her husband' Xiao yan zhi said starting to get angry again.

Just then an enuanch announced 'Fu Da ren dao'. Zhi Wei just turned around and refused to get up so Xiao yan zhi did the same. 'Yongqi, go tell Er Kang to go away we don't want to see or talk to him so go to Li Wan's side' Xiao yan zhi said to Yongqi who hesitantly got up and walked up to Er Kang.

' Er Kang what are you up too?' Yongqi said in a really serious tone. 'Zhi..Zhi..Wei I need to see her!' Er Kang said as head nearly walked into the room. ' No Er Kang don't they don't want to see you, maybe come back later they might be cooled down later OK?' Yongqi suggested.

'No I need to explain to Zhi Wei now' Er Kang pushed Yongqi aside. 'Go away Er Kang Xiao Yan zhi doesn't want to see you and especially I DONT want to see you!' Zhi Wei's angry voice was heard. 'But..but..' Er Kang was led out by Yongqi.

While outside, Yongqi decided to have a serious talk with Er Kang ' Do you really like Li Wan?'

Chapter 8

'Then just tell her it was a misunderstanding because the night that she heard you talking to Li Wan, you surely told Li Wan that you loved Zhi Wei and you were devoted to her only right?' Yongqi asked

'No I didn't have time to say that just as I was Zhi Wei came out and ran away, what do i do?' Er Kang had his hand on his forehead as he walked around in circles.

' Well first of all go tell Li Wan that you don't like her and that you love Zhi Wei one and only OK?' Yongqi suddenly said looking happier as their problem could nearly be solved.

' I wanted to do that earlier but...' Er Kang was interupted by yongqi. 'But..what?' Yongqi was worried that something bad had happend. 'Let me finish, but while i was going to run after Zhi Wei I accidently pushed her towards the wall and she hit her head and fainted.' Er Kang tried his best to explain everything that happend that night.

'How is she now?' Yongqi asked because if she were consious they could tell her everything that happend and that she could not like Er Kang because he likes Zhi Wei.

'Um that's the problem... she is still unconsious!' Er Kang replied as he kept looking at the door. 'I guess we have to wait till she is consious and tell her before you get to Zhi Wei, you'll just have to live a few days without zhi Wei' Yongqi suggested.

Er Kang quietly muttered to himsef 'Zhi Wei I'll be back to explain to you?!' Er kang left to go home. While Yongqi nodded his head and returned inside. Finding Zhi Wei still crying, her eyes were red and swollen.

'Why must this happen to us, we were so happy with each other!' Yongqi said to himself as he pictured happy days with everyone together.

Zhi Wei stayed the night and she slept in the palace. Morning came and everyone woke up early Zhi Wei seemed happy today because Xiao yan zhi said that no matter what happens be happy even if your not pretend to be. Zhi Wei didn't want everyone to worry about her so she pretended that nothing had ever happend but she would still not talk to Er Kang or see him.

Suddenly an enuanch came and informed that Huangshang wanted Yongqi, Zhi Wei and Xiao yan zhi to be there in his study because he had something important to tell them, Huangshang said to be there as quick as possible.

Everyone walked over to Huangshan's study and greeted him 'Huang ah ma jixiang' they all chorused together. 'Where is Er Kang?' huang ah ma asked as he curiously looked around. 'has Er Kang run away?' huang ah ma teased Zhi Wei. Xiao yan zhi looked at Yongqi and Yong qi gave Zhi Wei a worried glance and Zhi Wei just shrugged her shoulders.

'Fu da ren dao' an enuanch announced.

Er Kang walked in and greeted Huang ah ma then quickly looked at Zhi Wei who turned around and talked to Xiao yan zhi. ' Ok since you are all here now I'd like to go on another outing, I wasn't going to bring you Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei but I remembered last time you kept me happy so i guess I will bring you two along.' Huang ah ma said.

'Thank you Huang ah ma' Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei thanked. 'when will we leave and who will we go with?' Xiao yan zhi asked Huang ah ma in a enthusiastic voice. 'I've decided to bring Li Jing and Li Wan with you four to the trip maybe next month' Huang ah ma answered.

Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei were so happy to be going on this outing next month they danced in circles. The group walked outside 'Zhi Wei I have something to tell you' Er Kang tapped Zhi Wei on the shoulder but Zhi Wei just ignored him and said to Xiao yan zhi 'Xiao yan zhi I'm not feeling that well so can we please go back now' 'sure'xiao yan zhi said as they both made their way back.

Er Kang lowered his head in disappointment Yongqi patted him on the back and said 'when time comes she'll listen' and yongqi walked off following Xiao Yan zhi.

Zhi Wei and Xiao yan zhi were busy talking about what they were going to do on the outing and who they were going with. Yongqi wasn't there because he went to see Er Kang and figure out what to do to get Zhi Wei to listen to Er Kang's explanation.

Someone knocked on xiao yan zhi's door and she ran to open it shocked to find that it was him...

Chapter 9

'No sure come in and I'll get some tea' Xiao yan zhi said as she guided him in. Zhi Wei was shocked to find Li Jing was here. 'Lets all go to Shu Fang Zhai' Xiao yan zhi suggested because what if Yongqi comes in and finds Li Jing he might misunderstand. The three of them left Yongqi's room and went to Shu Fang Zhai.

In order to make Zhi Wei and Xiao yan zhi happy Li Jing preformed some of his magic tricks and some kungfu work. This made Zhi Wei cheer up alot and make XIao yan zhi really happy was what Li Jing's real goal was.

Yongqi had finished his meeting with Er Kang and went back to his room to find it empty 'I wonder where everyone is'. He then asked his personal guard Xiao shun zhi 'Where is Huanzhugege and Zhi Wei ge ge?'. 'Geges are in Shu Fang Zhai' was Xiao shun Zhi's reply.

Yongqi made his way to Shu Fang Zhai. He could hear happy laughs from both princesses 'I'm glad that Zhi Wei is still so happy, that xiao yan zhi is always cheering up people' Yongqi thought was he stood at the door and gave a slight smile and nodd of his head.

As Yongqi walked into his room Li Jing greeted him. 'Wu ah ge Jixiang'. 'Oh, Yongqi sit down you got to watch these magic tricks they are so good' Xiao yan zhi said as she pulled Yong qi over to sit on the chair.

Then Li Jing had another idea. 'Xiao yan zhi you said you wanted to know about my hometown...' Li Jing was interuppted by Xiao yan zhi. 'Yea' Xiao yan zhi excitedly said. 'Well this is how we greet people where i live' Li Jing said as he walked up to Xiao yan zhi and took her hand and softly kissed it.

'Wierd huh, I think this country would suit me very much because you have great Kungfu there and lots of other things' Xiao yan zhi said as she imagined herself there.

Yongqi was angry that Li Jing kissed Xiao yan zhi's hand but if he told everyone that Xiao yan zhi would get angry and argue that it's just a greeting and then everyone would know
that he is jealous. 'Isn't it time that you go back now Li Jing?' Yongqi said coldly. 'I guess i shouldn't takeup all your time, Huanzhugege and Zhi Wei gege see you tomorrow' Li Jing bid his goodbye and left.

'I kissed her hand, her hand is so soft and she is so beautiful!' Li Jing was so happy that tomorrow he is going to ask Xiao yan zhi to go with him to out of the palace for a walk. Meanwhile, back at Shu Fang Zhai '*Yawn* Zhi Wei that was so cool, did you how he did this' Xiao yan zhi said as she tried to Make flowers come out of a bowl.

As Yongqi was going to argue with Xiao yanzhi an enuanch announced 'Huangshang Dao'. They spent the night talking to Huang ah ma and Yong qi forgot about his quarral with Xiao yan zhi.

Meanwhile, Li Wan stirred and she began to regain consiousness again. Li Wan opened her eyes and stared at Er Kang who had been there everyday. 'Er Kang your here, please don't leave me or I..or I..' Li Wan ended with a cough and Er Kang quickly go some water and fed it to her. Hu Tai Yi had given her some medicine and Er Kang spoon fed her all of it.

Li Wan was so happy that Er Kang finally likes her and h\she is determained to marry him. 'Li Wan I have to tell you something..umm..' Er Kang looked at her she was so tired and innocent. He decided to wait till she was all better then tell her but then he thought of Zhi Wei and he lowered his head.

'I'm tired, Er Kang please go back and rest now I'll be fine and Er Kang... I love you' li Wan blushed deep red as she said this and Er Kang walked off.

'What am i going to say to Zhi Wei, how do i explain and how do i tell Li Wan I don't love her with out injuring her in some way.?' Er Kang thought as he know that this time he was doomed.

Chapter 10

'Er Kang I'd like to go out for a little stroll in the garden because I'm tired of being cooped up in bed' Li Wan said as she reached out her hand for Er Kang to take.

Er Kang had no choice but to take her out for a walk. She was still very weak so she had to lean on his shoulder for support.

Er Kang and Li Wan were strolling around the garden for about half an hour when Li Wan was feeling alittle tired and Er Kang quickly suggested that they should go back.

As they made their way back, he spotted Zhi Wei and Xiao yan zhi also on a stroll in the garden, he tried to hide somewhere quickly but was too late to find a place to hide.

Li Wan was holding Er Kang's arm tightly. Meanwhile Zhi Wei saw all this, she and Xiao yan zhi saw Er Kang and Li Wan walking arm in arm (that's what it looked like but it wasn't true) in the garden and worst of all Li Wan had her head resting on his shoulder.

Zhi Wei didn't want to let anyone notice that she was sad, she told herself to be strong about things. Zhi Wei just looked at Xiao yan zhi and Xiao yan zhi just pulled Zhi Wei to walk in another direction delibratly saying loudly 'I can't believe this Er Kang, Zhi Wei you were going to hear his explanation but then this!'.

'Eh...eh Zhi Wei it's not...' Er Kang said as Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei had already left before he could finish.

Li Wan just looked at him blankly wondering what just happened.

Zhi Wei ran to Shu Fang Zhai with Xiao yan zhi chasing after her. Once Zhi Wei got in to their room she started to cry on Xiao yan zhi's shoulder.

'I can't believe Er Kang, I am so faithful to him and this is how he repays me sob sob' Zhi Wei poured out all her feelings to Xiao yan zhi.

'Zhi Wei, Zhi Wei please listen to me' Er Kang was trying to explain to Zhi Wei from outside. Xiao yan zhi decided to let him in even though she didn't like him maybe he had a good explanation.

'Xiao yan zhi what are you doing?' Zhi Wei asked as she knew what Xiao yan zhi was up to.. 'Let's see what he has to say for himself, I'll let you talk in here while I'll find Yongqi because I haven't seen him for along time today I wonder where he is?' Xiao yan zhi said as she walked out of the room letting Er Kang in.

'Please listen to me explain!, Yongqi told me to wait for a couple of days but now I know I simply can't live without you' Er Kang was glad that finally Zhi Wei was listening to him.

'But I heard with my very own ears that she loved you and she said that you loved her and the garden you and her...'Zhi Wei was interupted by Er Kang who was now holding her hand near his chest.

'Zhi Wei I love you one and only and I will never love another woman besides you, I never loved Li Wan... She may have liked me but I don't love her back' Er Kang said 'When she said that she knew I loved her that was not true and the night that you left me I accidently push Li Wan and she hit the wall resulting to unconsciousness. Yesterday she regained consciousness and she wanted to go for a walk today but she was alittle wonky when she walked that's why she was leaning on me and..' Er Kang was going to say more but Zhi Wei cut in. 'I believe you' Zhi Wei said as she looked deep into Er kangs eyes she saw that they were not lying.

'You believe me? I thought I lost you, Zhi Wei ' Er Kang said as he was really happy that he had a wife who believed him.

'Wait have you told Li Wan you don't love her yet? Don't say it too direct but say it in a way that won't hurt her OK? Zhi wei asked Er Kang.

'Yes, I will! I'll tell her tonight at the dinner with our guests again' Er Kang gave Zhi Wei a long passionate kiss on the lips.

'I'm so overjoyed to have such a believing wife like you Zhi Wei!' Er Kang said as he and Zhi Wei made their way to find Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi.

Chapter 11

'Good Good Very Good now I'm going to have a very good son-in-law har har' Li Wan's father was glad to accept Er Kang as one of his family.

Li Wan just stood next to her father and blushed. She moved her head from side to side imagining the rest of her life with fu Er Kang. She gave herself a secret smile.

'Since you have matured so much I'm personally going to buy you the best dress for you to wear and match Er Kang' her father teased.

'Father, stop being so mean but thanks alot for the dress I think it would be the perfect dress tonight for Er kang to propose to me' Li Wan said as she twirled in her imaginary dress.

Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi were dressing to go to the banquet. Xiao yan zhi wore a deep red manchurian dress while Yongqi wore a yellow and gold manchurian costume.

'Xiao yan zhi you look stunning today!' Yongqi said noticing the blush color on her cheeks.

'You are so bad Yongqi, come on let's go and see Zhi Wei I'm afraid Er Kang would bully her again' Xiao yan zhi said as she practically dragged Yongqi out the door.

When Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi arrived at Shu Fang Zhai Zhi Wei wasn't there 'Mingyue where is Zhi Wei' Xiao yan zhi asked puzzled. 'Zhi Wei and Er Kang have gone home to change for the banquet' Mingyue replied.

'Aiyo, so they made up and Zhi Wei didn't even tell me' Xiao yan zhi teased. 'Why don't go to the banquet room and wait for them OK? Yongqi said as she suspected that Xiao yan zhi was up to something.

'Ok' Xiao yan zhi said with a sly smile.

When Yongqi and Xiao yan zhi got to the room only maids and servant were there, running arould the place trying to get things ready before the banquet started.

'See I told you not to come so early it hasn't even been set up yet!' Yongqi told his wife. 'yea well so..I..' Xiao yan zhi tried to say something back but she could think of something to say so she just sighed and walked away.

As they walked past the gate they saw Zhi Wei and Er Kang's carrage come in. Xiao yan zhi cheered up alot and pulled Yongqi towards the carrage. Yongqi had a strong feeling Xiao yan zhi was going to do something but he couldn't tell what so he just followed along.

Er Kang got down from the carrage and reached out his hand to help Zhi Wei down but to his surprise Xiao yan zhi called out 'Er Kang get away from her you here me, why did you take her away' she took Zhi Wei's hand and helped her down.

Er Kang stepped forward and tried to explain 'I already..' xiao yan zhi interuppted 'you what, don't trust you anymore neither does Zhi Wei' she said as she hugged Zhi Wei closer.

'eh Xiao yan zhi Er Kang and I made up, I have forgiven him already!' Zhi Wei said as she walked up to Er Kang and gave him a hug. 'ohhh... I knew you two made up earlier, I just wanted to trick you now you two lovebirds can stop being too mushy and stuff' Xiao yan zhi said with some sort of twinkle in her eye.

'this wife of mine is still so childish, I like it' Yongqi said as he came and kissed her on her on the forehead. 'Look who's being mushy now?' Zhi Wei said as she walked up to Xiao yan zhi and winked.

Xiao yan zhi blushed at Yongqi and nudged him in the ribs. Then Xiao yan zhi walked up to Er Kang and softly punched him on the shoulder 'If Zhi Wei forgives you so do I' Xiao yan zhi said happily.

When they got there everyone had already arrived and had been seated. Soon the four got seated and started eating. Er Kang noticed that Li Wan's father was looking at him from afar. 'Er Kang can you accompany Li Wan to her room as she needs to get something' Li Wan's father asked Er Kang delibratly so Er Kang and his precious daughter could have some time alone.

Zhi Wei looked at ErKang and he whispered something in her ear 'Zhi Wei i'll tell her now'. She smiled.

As they got to Li Wan's room, she turned to him and said 'Do you have anything to say?' She blushed.

'Yes I do' Er Kang said summoning up all this courage and continued 'Li Wan I love Zhi Wei one and only and I will never love another woman in my life. I only stayed with you because I felt guilty about injuring you I am dreadfully sorry'he walked away leaving Li Wan stunned.

'You don't love me you love Zhi Wei?' she kept saying to herself 'where am I ever going to find another like you Fu Er Kang, no wonder why you are always with Zhi Wei' She thought with tears welling in her eyes. She couldn't stand this anymore she ran to the garden and sat on the chair and cried.

Towards the end of the night Xiao Yan zhi and Yongqi made their way back, so did Er Kang and Zhi Wei. When Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi got back to their room, Yongqi suddnely remembered that Huang ah ma had to talked to him about the next outing right after he got changed. Yongqi excused himself and told Xiao yan zhi that he would be back as soon as possible, kissed her on the lips and left.

'How silly of Yongqi to forget his coat on a cold night like this, I'd better give this to him before he catches a cold and I'LL have to take care of him' xiao yan zhi thought as she grabbed the coat and ran after him.

Just as Yongqi walking through that garden he heard someone crying. He turned around to find that it was Li Wan. 'Are you Ok Li Wan?' Yongqi asked as he helped her up. 'Thanks for your concern, I'm fine' Li Wan said through sobs.

Li Wan cried on his shoulder then to her surprise she felt different. She felt as if Er Kang wan't important to her anymore but she felt like she began to like Yongqi as he was soo.. nice to her, a thing not even Er Kang cared for her.

She continued to cry on his shoulder, Yongqi felt uncomfortable and tried to push her away. he held her hand and told her that no need to cry for Er Kang, because he is in love with Zhi Wei. Then he took her to her room and bid goodnight and hurried off to Huang ah ma's study.

Xiao yan zhi stepped out from the bushes. She was angry 'Yongqi how could you do this to me?' She yelled inside her mind.

Chapter 12

she wanted to consult Zhi Wei first but Zhi Wei was out of the palace and Xiao yan zhi herself couldnot go out of the palace without Yongqi. 'It's all Yongqi's fault, I never should have married him'.

She went to her room and sat there quietly waiting for her victim to return.

She waited for half an hour for Yongqi to come back. She got angrier and angrier thinking about Li Wan and him together. Who does this Li Wan think she is breaking everyone up, she already caused Zhi Wei and Er Kang to split and now us' She paused to think about it 'and yongqi as well he let her on his shoulder' she was certain to quarral with Yongqi tonight.

Meanwhile Yongqi was walking towards the house noticing the flame was not out yet. He stopped and wondered 'Why is Xiao yan zhi not asleep yet, what a silly girl to wait for me to return!' he laughed to himself and walked towards the door.

Xiao yan zhi could see his dark figure at the door and she turned around not to face him. The door opened and Yongqi walked in. 'Xiao yan zhi, today is the greatest day huang...' Yongqi began to say happily until he was interupted by Xiao yan zhi.

She just turned around and took a deep breathe because she was really angry. Yongqi walked up to her and asked her 'Alright, now who made you angry huh?' Yongqi asked her teasingly.

'You, how could you?' Xiao yan zhi said in a cold tone. Yongqi was shocked to see this 'What did I do?'.

'For once just tell me the truth, do you love or have you ever loved me?' Xiao yan zhi said as she kept nodding her head. 'What do you mean, of course I do' Yongqi replied.

'You liar! You never had loved me never!' She was shouting now. Yongqi gave her a blank look. 'So you want to play dumb with me now, I saw you with my own to eyes' she yelled with tears now.

'You saw me what?' Yongqi was getting angry because she was yelling at him for nothing. 'Li Wan and You in the garden hugging ever so tightly and lovingly. I went to give you your coat but instead i saw..I saw' Xiao yan zhi stuttered.

'No misunderstanding, Li Wan and I don't have anything between us but friendship' Yongqi said trying to calm down. 'Friendship huh? I don't trust you anymore and one more thing' xiao yan zhi tried to swallow her anger 'I wished I never married you!'.

'What! You are so immature sometimes,can't you just grow up! You are accusing me of something that i didn't do! and I thought you were some faithful wife or something' Yongqi yelled back.

'I am so not faithful now huh? I am immature now huh? Fine don't ever come near me and go to your Li Wan, never should have married you, go marry Li Wan' Xiao yan zhi was never so angry than this 'she is faithful and mature and intelligent go marry her than'.

He felt like exploding. 'At least she won't accuse her own husband of liking other women unlike you!' Yongqi blurted out.

'So right now you admitted that you like her and you want to marry her, get away from me! Why can't you be more like Li Jing so nice to people and never yells at a girl' Xiao yan zhi shouted this at Yongqi

At the name Li Jing he couldn't help himself but to say 'Why are you shouting at me, you are the one who likes Li Jing and not me' He widened his eyes saying this.

'What how could you! Well I'd rather marry Li Jing or a cow or a horse than marry you Wu Ah Ge' Xiao yan zhi never knew Yongqi could say something like that.

'You never forgot you were an Ah Ge you just know I'm not fit to be your wife' Xiao yan zhi said to him just before yelling outside 'Xiao deng zhi, please get all my stuff and I'm staying in Shu Fang Zhai from now on'.

Just before she left she glared at him and said 'Wu Ah Ge Jixiang' in a really cold voice. And left.

Chapter 13

'How do i explain to her about Li Wan and I? WAIT! I'm not the one who should be sorry, Xiao yan zhi is! Falling for that Li Jing' Yongqi decided not to give in so easily because Xiao yanzhi should say sorry first.

The morning came and Xiao yan zhi woke up earlier than usual. Just after she got dressed, an enuanch announced 'Prince Li Jing dao'. She was happy at least someone was here is break her boredom 'unlike that mean old Yongqi' she muttered under her breath.

'Xiao yan zhi, I've come to ask you something,' Li Jing paused as while and looked up at her 'father wants me to explore the place but I need someone to give me a more detailed tour' Li Jing lied. 'Sure, anything that would let me go outside' Xiao yan zhi said as she told Li Jing to change into commoners clothes and wait for her at the gate.

'Damn, why didn't I just tell her I love her why do I need to go in a big circle' sighed Li Jing as he headed back to his room happily.

Xiao yan zhi quickly got dressed in her commoners clothes. She made her way to the gate to meet li Jing. 'Let's go!' Xiao yan zhi said as she hopped around.

Li Jing stood breathless as she was even more prettier in her commoners clothing. He snapped awake from his daydream and told her to get up on his horse.

'Why can't we take the carrage, because...' Xiao yan zhi hesitated as she thought of Yongqi, then she thought about the way he mistreated her last night 'OK lets go' she said as she got up on his horse.

They rode outside and explored the market and the beautiful scenic mountains to the sparkling waters of the river.
Xiao yan zhi admired the beautifulness of nature and outside but Li Jing admired Xiao yan zhi's beauty.

It was getting late and Li Jing said hestantly because he didn't want to end this beautiful day with Xiao yan zhi 'It's getting late let's head back'.

'That early, lets go to the night market as well' Xiao yan zhi said pleading him with her brilliant big eyes. 'Alright' Li Jing said just as quickly as she asked. They both smiled.

Xiao yan zhi was having the time of her life no Yongqi bossing her around, no Yongqi always embarrasing her, no Yongqi. She was still very angry from Yesterday night, Xiao yan zhi thought that she would never forgive Yongqi again.

Li Jing was also just as happy as Xiao yan zhi because it was a whole wonderful day with xiao yan zhi! He wished that they would have more chances of being together.

They decided to go home now since it was really late already and Li Jing's father would worry so would Huang shang worry about Xiao yan zhi.

After they arrived at the palace Li Jing took Xiao yan zhi to the garden and he showed her how to perform some of his magic tricks which she had bugged him all day about.

Yongqi went to look for Xiao yan zhi to see if she was with Li Jing as he was jealous. The first place he went to was Shu Fang Zhai. 'Mingyue have you seen Ge Ge?' Yongqi asked trying not to sound like he cared or anything.

'Um...(pause)um.. Gege she is at your study!' Mingyue said stuttering. Yongqi could see that she was lying. 'Tell me the truth, where is Ge Ge?' Yongqi said in a very serious tone. '(gulp)She is out with Li Jing on a tour but they haven't been back yet?' Mingyue replied.

Yongqi felt the jealousy rise in him.

He decided to asked Xiao yan zhi if that was true tomorrow personally and find out if she really did like him.

'Wu ah ge there is someone to see you!' one of his personal guards told him. Just then a female walked into his study and spoke.

'Wu ah ge... I' Li Wan was about to say. 'Li Wan, would you like to come to Hui bing lou tomorrow with me?' he said with a intention of making Xiao yan zhi jealous.

'Sure, anything!' Li Wan said because she was really happy that Yongqi had asked her to come with him for the first time' Li Wan said as her lips curved up to reveal a big smile.

'Ok I do feel a little sleepy' Xiao yan zhi said as she got up to walk to Shu Fang Zhai. When they reached the door Xiao yan zhi walked in. Then she remembered something important 'WAIT, Li Jing would you like to come with me to Hui Bing Lou tomorrow I miss my brother and my friends I really want to see them' she said as Li Jing nodded

'I'll pick you up tomorrow in the morning OK? Li Jing said as he kept smiling inside himself. As he turned around a big smile broke out across his face. 'This was magnificent' he thought and he went home and slept a peaceful sleep.

Li Jing came the next morning to pick up Xiao yan zhi as promised. They talked happily together and chatted non-stop.

They stood at the gate waiting for the carrage to arrive.

At the same time Yongqi had picked up Li Wan and they had walked to the carrage in silence. Li Wan talked to him but mostly Yongqi just nodded back.

They arrived at the gate surprised to see Xiao yan zhi and LI JING!

Yong qi watched them as they talked and chatted happily. Li Jing showing her fighting skills and Xiao yan zhi applauding and laughing.

'Li Jing you are so great, who ever is greater than you!' Xiao yan zhi said as she thought that he would make a great brother and a best friend.

Yongqi could not believe she said this and he talked to Li Wan who was shocked and happy to see yongqi finally talking to her.

The palace gates had opened and two carrages trotted in. 'Huh? 2 carrages we can't use two carrages!' Xiao yanzhi thought.

Then a voice behind her yelled 'That's our ride Li Wan'
Xiao yan zhi could tell that, that voice belonged to Yongqi. She turned around to see Yongqi running down with Li Wan. She knew he was trying to make her jealous so she just nodded her head and said 'Li Jing lets take this carrage'. Li Jing also nodded and helped her up.

Soon they were off leaving Yongqi and Li Wan going after their carrage.

When they got to Hui Bing Lou, Xiao yan zhi wanted to go to the market first to buy something for everyone and pulled Li Jing along. Suddenly there was a pack of thieves who had stolen something and were running and pushing people out of the way.

One of them pushed Xiao yan zhi on the ground and she hurt her ankle again. Li Jing ran to her and helped her up. 'Here lean on my shoulder for suport' Li Jing said as he raised her arm to put on his shoulder.

'Wait I need to get something for Jin Suo, Liu Qing, and Liu Hong and of course my brother' Xiao yan zhi pouted.

'They'll be glad and happy to see you here wouldn't that be the greatest gift' Li jing said as he didn't know whether it was for them but it would be the greatest gift for Xiao yan zhi to be his wife forever.

'You know you're right, lets go back my ankle really hurts' xiao yan zhi said just before she had to reach down to touch her sore ankle.

He took xiao yan zhi back as quick as possible. He walked inside with Xiao yan zhi's hand on his shoulder just as Yongqi arrived.

Yongqi saw all this, GOOD deeds done bye Li Jing. yongqi feeling worried of what happend to her ankle ran up to Xiao yan zhi and suggested he should take her in but she refused and continued to let Li Jing carry her in.

Chapter 14

'Li Jing where is Yongqi? Xiao jian asked. 'Oh he's outside with Li Wan' Li Jing said as he helped Xiao yan zhi down on a chair.

'Thank you so much Li Jing I'll watch where I walk next time or else I'll twist my ankle again and then I'll have to bother you again' Xiao yan zhi teased Li Jing.

'No, helping your would be an honor for such a pretty lady' Li Jing said as Xiao yan zhi gave him a soft punch on the shoulder. Everyone looked at each other and exchanged wierd glances.

li Jing could not simply take his eyes off her. Yongqi and Li Wan walked in. Yongqi saw the way Xiao yan zhi was smiling at Li Jing while he was looking into her eyes lovingly.

At the corner of Xiao yan zhi's eyes she could see that Yongqi was going to go black with angry and jealousy. 'This is going to pay him for using Li Wan to make her jealous, peeleeaassee Yongqi got to do more than that to make her jealous but I could simply make him jealous' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself.

Xiao yan zhi wanted to get up and walk over to the others who were too confused to talk but she had forgotten that she had a sprained ankle. She fell to the ground but was just caught by Yongqi and Li Jing.

Xiao yan zhi saw Yongqi and pushed him away. 'Get away from me, don't touch me' she said as she leaned on Li Jing to get up.

Yongqi was taken back by this 'Fine I'll never go near you again' he looked around at Jin Suo, liu Qing and Liu Hong who quickly pretended that they hadn't noticed it and continued working.

Li Wan was happy that he finally had a fight with Xiao yan zhi so she could be with him forever. As for Li Jing he was extremely happy that she chose him instead of Yongqi.

'Xiao yan zhi could you come with me to my room, we need to talk' Xiao jian said concerned.

Xiao yan zhi limped up the stairs with the help of her brother. When they got to Xiao jian's room, he closed all windows and doors. 'What happend between you and Yongqi?' Xiao jian asked in a worried voice.

'Xiao jian Yongqi was mean to me, he accused me of something I didn't do and then he denied something that was true' Xiao yan zhi said trying not to cry.

'What did he accuse you of?' Xiao jian said as he had a massive amount to questions to ask. 'He accused my of falling for Li Jing!' Xiao yan zhi whispered. 'What! Then what did you accuse yongqi of doing' Xiao jian pitied his sister.

'I saw him with my own two eyes, I was being nice to bring his coat and i saw I saw' Xiao yan zhi started to cry on Xiao jian's shoulder.

'OK Xiao yan zhi tell me what you saw' Xiao jian said trying to comfort her. 'I saw Yongqi hugging Li Wan!' Xiao yan zhi said this a cracked up crying.

'What! how could he?' Xiao jian said as he wanted to personally ask Yongqi but Xiao yan zhi told him not to.

'I wish I never let him marry you if he was this unfaithful!' Xiao jian said regretting this and that. 'Don't worry brother, I have found out a way of paying him back!' xiao yan zhi said cheering up with a slight smile.

'What is it dear sister?' Xiao jian asked as he knew this must be good. 'Well, I'll make him jealous since he is using Li Wan to make me jealous which will not, I will hang around with Li Jing more' xiao yan zhi said.

Chapter 15

'Li Wan, want some chicken?' Yongqi said as he picked up a chicken leg for her and placed it on her food. xiao yan zhi was really jealous even though she said she wouldn't be. She took a deep breathe and turned away.

She could feel a cramp coming because of all the anger. 'Xiao yan zhi, would you like to take another walk outside like we did yesterday, it was so fun' Li Jing said as he took a side long glance at Yongqi.

Just after Li Jing said this, Yongqi felt a chill down his spine. 'So that's where Xiao yan zhi was, she spent the whole day with Li Jing' Yongqi thought fuming with anger and jealousy.

With a delbrate tone Xiao yan zhi said aloud 'sure that was the best day of my life Li Jing, being with you makes me so happy unlike with some people'. Li Jing couldn't understand what that meant but Yongqi certainly did.

The couple looked at each other hard and cold in the eyes. 'Ok let's go Li Jing' Xiao yan zhi said taking Li Jing by the hand and dragged him out of Hui Bing Lou.

There was silence by Xiao Jian, Jin Suo, Liu Qing and Liu Hong. They were confused and did not know what was wrong. But Zhi Wei and Er Kang knew, they looked at each other and exchanged different looks.

Everyone ate in silence. Until Xiao yan zhi came running in shouting 'hey everyone outside there is a..' Xiao yan zhi said just as she was interrupted by Liu Hong.

'Can you talk alittle quieter Do you want everyone to know?' Liu Hong reminded Xiao Yan zhi quickly. 'Oh sorry!' Xiao yan zhi said going alittle red.

Zhi Wei and Xiao jian looked confused because what Xiao yan zhi wants to say has to be important. As she had already forgotten about the little quarral just then. But they know they still hate each other.

Liu Qing was really interested in what Xiao yan zhi saw 'What was outside?' he asked couriously.

'Outside there is a kungfu competition, can everyone come out and watch Li Jing and I are going to participate!' Xiao yan zhi said enthusiastically watching Yongqi at the same time.

'But Xiao yan zhi, you always go with Yongqi' Zhi wei quickly reminded with a chance Xiao yan zhi might go with Yongqi.

'Like I care, this time I'm going with Li Jing' Xiao yan zhi said stubbornly. 'Fine, I'll just watch this time' Yongqi said coldly as deep inside he was hurt.

Everyone just shrugged their shoulders in disappointment of the quarraling couple. But what could they do?

(Outside at the competition, the owner of the competition is announcing something)

'Any couples who win will win this reward' the announcer said as he held up lots of money.

'I want to win that, I want to win that, li Jing you and I have to win it' Xiao yan zhi said as she was jumping everywhere.

'Ok I'll win that for you Xiao yan zhi!' Li Jing said as he looked deep into her eyes. Xiao yan zhi didn't notice him but was too happy 'Thank you Li Jing you are great'.

Yongqi saw all this. Li Jing looking into her eyes and everything.

'What is it that I have to do to get Xiao yan zhi back?' Yong thought to himself.

'Ah, this is fun! We've only got one more round and we could become champions!' Xiao yan zhi said as she jumped around in circles with Li Jing. Everybody was really happy everyone but Yongqi.

Xiao yan zhi and Li jing's next and last round was against the champion of last years competition. At first, there was no sign of who was going to win or who was going to lose beause they all had kungfu at the same level.

To Xiao yan zhi's surprise, the female on the opposing team kicked her on the back unsuspected which sent Xiao yan zhi flying nearly off the stage.

Yongqi sat there is fright, he was about to jump to save her but Li Jing had risked everything and jumped up and saved her instead. 'Are you alright, Xiao yan zhi?' Li Jing said as he asked xiao yan zhi worridly.

'I'm fine, really I'm fine let's continue!' Xiao yan zhi said jumping off his arms and continued fighting. Yongqi was really angry why didn't he save Xiao yan zhi instead that Li Jing did!

Nobody won yet so the master said that they should use weapons to make the fight go faster, interesting and quicker to end.

Xiao yan zhi was getting away from the other female but she slipped and fell and the females sword was heading straight for her heart.

Zhi Wei, Jin Suo, Liu Qing, Liu Hong, Xiao jian and especially Yongqi yelled for Xiao yan zhi.

Just then at the nick of time Li Jing pushed Xiao yan zhi aside and put himself in Xiao yan zhi's place.

The sword slashed across his arm and blood poured everywhere. Li Jing clutched on his arm and knelt down because of all the pain in his arm. Xiao yan zhi was shocked.

Yong Qi saw this and flew to Xiao yan zhi's side and conforted her from her fall shock. "Yongqi? Li Jing? What happened?' Xiao yan zhi said as she looked around noticing Li Jing kneeling on the ground clutching to his arm.

'Ah! Li Jing...' Xiao yan zhi yelled as she pushed Yongqi's embrace away and ran towards her saviour. 'Li Jing, are you OK? why did you do that?' she said having a quick look at his arm as it had quite a deep cut in it.

'You'll pay for this, for injuring Li Jing!' Xiao yan zhi screamed at used all her might to defeat the other two all by herself. Li Jing fainted bacause of all the pain and that he was losing blood as well.

'Li Jing's dead, he is dead!' Xiao yan zhi said as she started to shake his body and soon Xiao yan zhi fainted as well.

'Xiao yan zhi, are you ok?' Yongqi said concernedly and quickly carried her to Hui Bing Lou and into one of the spare rooms.

Two Hours Later

'Yongqi, where is Li Jing? Is he dead?' Xiao yan zhi said as she hugged Yongqi 'It's all my fault this happened she said tears welling up in her eyes.

'Wait, Xiao yan zhi you are hugging Yongqi the one who hugged Li Wan...' Xiao yan zhi just remembered about that incident 'I'm not the one to give in first, yongqi was wrong..'. Xiao yan zhi pushed Yongqi away and asked him coldly why he was hugging her.

'You hugged me first, and now you are saying I did' Yongqi said arguing back. 'You have no right to speak to me like that' Xiao yan zhi said as she ran out the door heading straight for Li Jing's room.

'Yongqi you are so dumb why did you do argue back to her, after trying so hard to get her back' Yongqi hit his forehead regretting what he had just said to Xiao yan zhi.

'How do I get her back now??????' Yongqi thought just as a image of Xiao yan zhi and Li Jing popped into his head. 'No that would never happen will it?' Yongqi thought again.

Chapter 16

'Li Jing are you OK?' Xiao yan zhi said as she sat beside his bed waiting for him to gain consiousness again. 'Gege, Prince Li Jing has been unconscious for more than 3 hours now but he should be awake anytime depending on himself' Hu Tai Yi said as he left the room.

At once Zhi Wei and Er Kang left their house to enter the palace. They went straight to li Jing's room. Zhi Wei and Er Kang were shocked to find Xiao yan zhi there sitting next to Li Jing waiting for him to regain consciousness.

Li Jing stirred in his sleep. Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei both calmed him down. 'I'm sorry Li Jing if it wasn't for my selfishness you wouldn't be injured' xiao yan zhi cried as she spoke.

'Don't worry Li Jing will be OK?' Zhi Wei said as she let Xiao yan zhi cry on her shoulder.

' I should have never entered that competition in the first place, I am so stupid' Xiao yan zhi said as she quickly looked at Li Jing. 'And that Yongqi didn't even help!' Xiao yan zhi said just missing the worried look on Zhi Wei's face.

'Well, Don't blame yourself do did win the competition didn't you?' Zhi wei said trying to change the topic and cheer her up a little.

'I guess so but if..' Xiao yan zhi was going to say more but Li Jing opened his eyes and stirred.

'Xiao yan zhi where am I and are you alright?' Li Jing asked ignoring his own wounded arm. 'I'm fine' she said as she had tears already in her eyes.

Er Kang silently snuck out of the room to call Yongqi to come. No one noticed Er Kang leave.

'Look Li Jing, I am really sorry that I got you injured' Xiao yan zhi said as she knelt beside him. 'It's ok, i did it out of my free will don't blame yourself' Li Jing said trying to act as if the arm did not hurt.

Everyone was really relieved that Li Jing was alright and Hu Tai Yi said that he would recover in less than three to four days of time. Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei were overjoyed but especially Li Jing as now he now xiao yan zhi cares so much about him.

(5 days later)

'Good morning Li Jing how are you? Does your arm still hurt?' xiao yan zhi asked as she came in to check up on him.

'Of course I'm fine, can you stop treating me as if I am sick' Li Jing teased. 'I'm glad you are back to your old self again with a little humor' Xiao yanzhi teased back.

'I don't want to get cooped up in bed would you like to come with me to a stroll in the park?' Li Jing asked as he admired her beauty when she thought. 'Sure!' Xiao yan zhi said almost overjoyed.

Xiao yan zhi was overjoyed in have such a great friend which was just like a great 'BROTHER' to her and nothing else. Whereas Li Jing thought that she really liked her and wanted to tell her the truth about his feelings for her.

'When the time is right I'll tell her that I love her but now is not the time as so many things have happened lately so must be very confused' li Jing thought to himself as he thought about her feelings.

The two of them talk and talk all day.

'Thank you Lao Tian Ye for sending me such a good friend because he is like the second brother for me' Xiao yan zhi closed her beautiful eyes and prayed. At the same time Li Jing closed his eyes and prayed (in silent) 'Thank you Lao Tian Ye for sending me my dream girl I don't know what I could do with out her in my life'.

Xiao yan zhi was thinking about Yongqi. 'I wonder how he is doing?' xiao yan zhi asked herself. 'Who cares if he is alone, who cares if he is wondering about me?' Xiao yan zhi said to herself but deep inside she knew they both still loved each other.

Chapter 17

'Huang Shang wants to see Huan Zhu Ge Ge, Zhi Wei and Prince Li Jing in his study now' the enuach announced.

Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei and Li Jing who had fully healed from his wounds followed the enuach to Huang Shang's study room.

'Oh, Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei you are here now with Prince Li jing, Er kang and Yong has already made it here' Huang Shang said as he pointed to Er Kang and Yong Qi.

Yongqi looked at Xiao yan zhi and waved to say hi but Xiao yan zhi turned away. Zhi Wei walked over to Er Kang and disappointedly nodded her head.

'Alright now that you are all here, about the next outing Li Wan cannot come with us because her father would not allow her go which I can understand as it is pretty dangerous out there, I have changed the date of the outing to two days time so you will have to be ready for it quickly'the emporer said as he noticed something very parcular.

'Huang ah Ma, can I go out of the palace now soI can tell my friends and brother that I am leaving in two days time on a outing?' Xiao yan zhi thought that this was an excuse to get out of the palace and also half to say goodbye to her friends.

'But you can only go out on the 1st and 15th of every month, should I?' the emperor scratched his chin and sighed.
'Oh, pleasse huang ah ma please??' Xiao yan zhi gave him the really innocent look again which made him say it.
'Alright Alright but just this chance!' the emperor laughted and told them to get ready and be home early.

'But Zhi Wei you stay behind I need to talk to you' the emperor said as he ushered the others to leave. 'Zhi Wei now truthfully tell me Is there something wrong between Xiao yan Zhi and Yongqi?'

'Um...Why would you say that Huang ah Ma? Zhi Wei asked knowing that now Huang ah ma now knows too.
'Well, you think that, that can leave my eyes' the emperor teased.

'Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi had a little misunderstanding between them and now they won't talk to each other.

'What exactly happend and what was that little misunderstanding?' the emperor asked worriedly. 'Well it started when...and...then' Zhi Wei explained everything to the emporer.

'oh i see the misunderstanding now, but I think Xiao yan zhi overeacted alittle don't you think?' the emperor asked ZHi wei remembering the stubborn behavior xiao yan zhi has

'Yes I guess so...' Zhi Wei answered

'I wonder if Er Kang and the rest is worrying about me now' Zhi Wei thought to herself as she kept looking at the door.

The Emperor noticed this 'I'd better not waste your lovers time with Er Kang should ' Huang ah ma teased Zhi Wei.
Zhi Wei blushed deep red.

'You may leave now Zhi Wei' huang ah ma saidas he was in a deep thought about something.

'Zhi Wei takes her leave now' Zhi wei said as she walked out the door thinking about what made Huang ah ma go into such a deep thought, Zhi Wei just shrugged her shoulders and continued waling to Shu Fang Zhai.

(Back at Huang ah Ma's study)

Huang shang paced around and around in his study trying to figure out something in his mind.

'Ah I know, If i can help it Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi will be back with each other soon with alittle of my help' the emperor said as he started straight away to think up different ways to get them together again.

Chapter 18

They all met at the palace gate and boarded the carraige. In side the carrage there was absolute silence. No one talked, laughed or made wise cracks.

Zhi Wei and Er Kang didn't have anything to talk about thats why they didn't talk. But as for Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi they did not talk because they were still in that fight of theirs.

Yongqi kept looking at Xiao yan zhi trying to say to her he is sorry but Xiao yan zhi didn't notice. Xiao Yan zhi was busily admiring the beautiful scene and wonderful nature outside the window.

When they got to Hui Bing Lou, Xiao yan zhi jumped off the carrage and ran towards Hui Bing Lou yelling at the top of her lungs 'Xiao Jian, Jin Suo, Liu Qing and Liu Hong quick come out'.

Just then Xiao yan zhi stopped and looked towards her. 'I mustn't step into that hole again and hurt my ankle again or else I have to bother Li Jing again' Xiao yan zhi thought to her self as she moved further from it and continued her running and yelling.

Back at the Carrage

'Is it just me or is Xiao yan zhi thinking forward for the first time' Er Kang teased. Yongqi just silently nodded his head.

They all then followed Xiao yan zhi into Hui Bing Lou to meet the rest. Xiao yan zhi squealed in delight to meet Liu Hong again they danced in circles and hugged. Then Xiao yan zhi hugged and danced around in circles in Jin Suo.

Xiao Jian walked down from the guestrooms and greeted everybody. 'Oh, Xiao Jian I'm gonna miss you so much!' Xiao yan zhi ran up to him and hugged him.

'Gonna miss me so much????' Xiao Jian said in a confused tone. 'Ai Lao Ye (Huang Shang's pretend name so others won't suspect anything) said we are all going on an outing two days time so we are here to say bye' Yongqi informed Xiao Jian.

'I'm going to get all of you sovanirs and lots of presents' Xiao yan zhi said as she gave everyone a beautiful smile. 'Xiao yan zhi, we are on a outing not a shopping spree' Yongqi reminded Xiao yan Zhi.

'At least alittle gift' Xiao yan zhi replied and put her nose in the air.

They all had dinner there and talked the whole night.

'It's time to leave now! I'm getting tired and I guess everyone is now' Zhi Wei said yawning as she said it.

Everyone bidded goodbye and Xiao yan zhi, Yongqi, Zhi Wei and Er Kang boarded the carrage.

During the trip home Zhi Wei fell asleep on er Kang's shoulder and Er Kang also fell asleep. Only Xiao yan zhi and Yong qi were awake inside.

'This is my chance' Yongqi thought as he moved to sit next to Xiao yan zhi. Xiao yan zhi noticed this and moved slightly over.

'Xiao yan zhi will you forgive me' Yongqi tugged her sleeve and made her turn around to watch his heart melting ears. She turned around not to face him because she wanted him to apologise more.

'Xiao yan zhi I lov...' Yongqi was interuptted by the enuanch who anounced that they were inside the palace already. Yongqi was going to continue but Zhi Wei and ER Kang started to wake up.

Xiao yan zhi looked at Yong Qi then gave a slight smile then jumped off the carrage. Everyone got off but Yongqi didn't. Yongqi was so happy that Xiao yan zhi had half forgiven him but was still worried about the other half.

'I know the Outing is the perfect way to get her to forgive me, just like the last time I confessed to her that I like her' Yongqi thought about it and jumped off the carrage.

He heading to his room and drifted off to sleep.

Everyone was extremely happy especially Xiao Yan Zhi who was always jumping around saying she is nearly free and she can become a free swallow again!

'Xiao yan zhi, are you happy about the outing just mere minutes away from you?' Zhi Wei teased. Xiao yan zhi immedietly said 'Of course I am'.

'I'm going to be free, free, free, free' Xiao yan zhi babbled on and on and on. Zhi Wei watched her nodding her head softly.

'I don't know how my brother Yong Qi can stand you?'Zhi Wei teased Xiao yan zhi.

Xiao yan zhi stopped her jumping and yelling. She turned and looked at Zhi Wei angrily. 'I knew that would keep you quiet for a while' Zhi Wei said with some sort of twinkle in her eye.

Everyone got ready and they all headed towards the carrage which was waiting for them at the door

Xiao yan zhi pulled Zhi Wei's hand and led her into the first carrage. 'Here Zhi Wei sit in this carrage' Xiao yan zhi said as she led her in. 'Huang...Ai Lao Ye you can sit with Zhi Wei and me' Xiao yan zhi said as she pulled Huang Shang's sleeve.

(Just so you won't get mixed up with the names)
Huang shang = Lao Ye
Yong Qi = Shao Ye

Just as Huang Shang was about to get on he remembered about xiao yan zhi and Yongqi's little misunderstanding as Zhi Wei had told him.

'I must do something about this' Huang Shang said as he nodded his head and smiled. 'Huang ah Ma what are you thinking of?' Xiao yan zhi asked as she nodded her head from side to side.

Huang Shang stuttered for a moment but told a lie so he would not reveal his secret plan to get Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi back together again 'Nothing just about the outing that's all'. Xiao yan zhi was satisfied with his answer and continued to chat to Zhi Wei.

The carrage arrived at the nearest city just before dark. Everyone went into the Zhang He Hotel. Huang Shang in one room, each other staff two per room, and because Xiao yan zhi didn't want to be in a room with Yongqi Zhi Wei shared a room with her and Yong qi and er kang had a seperate room each.

Everyone slept peacefully after a big dinner feast.

The next morning, Xiao yan zhi woked up early which was unusal because she found that Zhi Wei wasen't in her bed. 'I wonder where Zhi Wei is?' Xiao yan zhi thought.

Xiao yan zhi crept around the house trying to look for Zhi Wei without disturbing anyone who was asleep.

And there she spotted Zhi Wei and Er Kang speaking outside in a little gazebo. 'Let's Evesdrop' Xiao yan zhi thought as she smiled her sly smile 'let's see what these two lovers have to say'.

'Zhi Wei you look exceptionally beautiful today!' Er Kang remarked with romance. Zhi Wei blushed and there was silence. 'Er Kang what was that thing that you wanted to talk to me about, hurry up and say before Xiao yan zhi wakes up' Zhi Wei looked over her shoulder to see if anyone was listening.

'About me?? What about me????' Xiao yan zhi thought she wanted to jump in the conversation and force Er Kang to tell her but she decided to stay silent to listen to what they had to say.

'Er Kang what is it you wanted to say?' Zhi Wei said getting worried if the news is bad or good about Xiao yan zhi.

Chapter 19

'Yes, I already check OK?' Zhi Wei was getting impatient.

'You see, Xiao yan zhi's brother told me that her background was not that simple. Her Father was a powerful and strong man from the...' Er Kang stopped because he heard something rustling in the bushes.

'Come out and face us theif!' Er Kang walked in front of Zhi Wei to protect her. Suddenly to Er Kang and Zhi Wei shock Xiao yan zhi just flew out of the bushes.

' My father what... Where was he from?... Was he good or bad?' Xiao yan zhi asked as she circled Er Kang with a cold face 'why didn't you tell me about my father?'.

'Xiao yan zhi I..er..I' Er Kang stuttered for a moment thinking of what to say. But his mind went blank he couldn't think of anything.

'Xiao Jian said that your father was a wonderful man, he was strong WILLED and he came from.. umm' Er Kang was thinking of a lie to say where he was from.

'From WHERE?' Xiao yan zhi's anger was cooling down but she simply had to know where he was from!

'He was from um.. ' Er Kang was interuppted by an enuanch. 'Excuse me, Ge Ges and Fu Da ye but Lao Ye want to see you in his room'.

'Phew! Saved by Huang Shang' Er Kang thought to himself as he felt more relieved. Zhi Wei noticed that Er Kang was strugling to not tell Xiao yan zhi about this very important secret as sweat formed at Er Kang's forhead.

'All Well, At least I know that my Father was a great man!' Xiao yan zhi said as she pulled Zhi Wei with her and they both skipped down over to Lao Ye's room.

Er Kang wiped the sweat from his forhead and sighed. 'Thank God Xiao yan zhi didn't hear anything she was not supposed to or else I'd be really sorry to Xiao Jian' Er Kang thought to himself as he imagined what Xiao yan zhi would have thought and reacted.

'xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei thank you for coming I'm just a little bored so I need you two to cheer me up and keep me company' Lao Ye said as he laughed.

'Sure Xiao yan zhi will accompany Lao ye' Xiao yan zhi said as she walked over to him and stood by his side.

'Zhi Wei will also do the same' Zhi Wei said as she also walked over to Lao ye.

'Why don't you two girls sing I haven't heard you sing for a long time now!' Lao Ye said as Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei walked up in front on Lao ye and Together they started singing.

They both sounded beautiful and they sounded like beautiful angels.

Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei stayed there the whole day and also went to dinner with Lao Ye who was extremely happy to have two wonderful angels with him and to accompany him when he was sad and lonely, He knew that both girls could cheer him up as quick as possible.

When they got to dinner, everyone was already there even Er Kang and Yongqi!.

'This is my chance!' Lao Ye said. 'Xiao yan zhi go sit next to Yongqi because there are no other seats for you to sit in' Lao Ye said just before Xiao yan zhi wanted to protest.

'This is an order' LaoYe said seriously so seriously that Xiao yan zhi couldn't do anything but sit where he allocated her to sit....next to Yongqi!

Chapter 20

Xiao yan zhi remembered the last time when she was in a fight with Yongqi and also then she wouldn't sit with him. This time was exactly the same.

Li Jing was sitting opposite to Xiao yanzhi. He knew Xiao yan zhi didn't want to sit next to Yongqi, so he decided to help her.

'Xiao yan zhi I have something to say to you, do you want to sit with me?' Li Jing asked ever so handsomely.

Yongqi sat up straight and looked around the table. Xiao yan zhi immedietly stood up and said 'Sure I'll sit there and what do you want to tell me?'.

xiao yan zhi got up from her seat and walked over to Li Jing who moved over to give her a seat.

Lao Ye looked disappointed as his little 'getting Xiao yan zhi and Yong qi back together again' went wrong and didn't turn out how he wanted it to.

Zhi Wei immedietly saw through Lao Ye's plan. 'Oh, so he is trying to get Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi back together again!' Zhi Wei thought as a big and most beautiful smile broke onto her face.

Everyone started talking to one another except for Yongqi. Yongqi quietly ate bits and pieces of rice while he watched Li Jing and Xiao yan zhi joke around.

Lao Ye certainly did not want his favourite son looking so depressed. 'Ok plan B!' Lao ye thought.

'Aiya, I left my map on the roof of this house, I WONDER who can get it for me!' Lao Ye purposly said WONDER loudly so Xiao yan zhi could hear it.

This took Xiao yan zhi's attention to Lao Ye as planned. 'Why is it on the roof?' Yongqi asked. 'I was walking last night with my map then the wind blew it up there' Lao Ye was not good at lying but it was the best he could do.

'I'll get it for you Lao Ye, please let Xiao yan zhi get it for you!' Xiao yan zhi ran up to Lao ye and tugged his sleeve non-stop.

'Sure go get it for me Xiao yanzhi!' Lao ye said happily as he knew plan was sure to work this time.

Xiao yan zhi ran outside with Yongqi and Li Jing following like glue to her. Soon when the three where no to be seen as they were far away now, Zhi Wei stepped up to Lao Ye.

'Now Lao ye what is the plan?' Zhi Wei asked seeing through the plan B. 'Well, everytime Xiao yan zhi goes on a roof, she is likely to fall, this time when she falls Yongqi can catch her and...' Lao ye chuckled 'and they make up'.

'Lao ye I'm pleased about this plan I'm very sure it will work' Zhi Wei clasped her hands together and wondered whats gonna happen next.

(Outside the house)

'Xiao yan zhi here let me get the map for you' Yongqi said about to jump, but he felt a hand on his shoulder. 'No, I'll get it for you Xiao yan zhi' Li Jing said as he took a step closer to the roof.

'Hey stop fighting on who is going to get the map, no one is going to get the map. Because I am.' Xiao yan zhi said as she took no more advice from the two men and jumped up on to the roof.

'Wait Xiao yan zhi everytime you get on to a roof you are most likely to fall, please come down' Yongqi demanded.

The stubborn Xiao yan zhi would listen and continued to walked step by step closer to the map.

Just as Xiao yan zhi reached and grabbed the map, her back foot slipped on some slippery green blue algae which had grown on the roof tiles

From where Yongqi and Li Jing was, Xiao yan zhi's scream for sudden help was only heard faintly because she had walked on the other side.

As Xiao yan zhi was just about to fall off the tip of the roof, Yongqi and Li Jing at the same time spotted her.

Both of them Yongqi and Li Jing luanged forward to catch the falling Xiao yan zhi but instead they crashed into each other and fell on the ground.

Just as she was about to hit the ground Lao Ye flew from nowhere and caught her just in the nick of time. Xiao yan zhi wouldn't open her eyes.

'xiao yan zhi you are safe now, you can open your eyes now' Lao ye said softly.

Xiao yan zhi opened her eyes 'Am I dead now, am I in heaven?' Xiao yan zhi asked worriedly. 'No your not dead yet, I won't let you die that easily!' Lao ye joked.

Xiao yan zhi hugged Lao ye and jumped off. She ran and hugged Zhi Wei who was so worried that she might not be able to see Xiao yan zhi again.

Just as Xiao yan zhi was about to talk, she remembered something important. 'Lao ye here is your map' Xiao yan zhi said as she gave Lao ye the map which she nearly lost her life or maybe injured herself badly for.

Lao Ye took the map and looked at Xiao yan zhi up and down. Lao Ye nodded his head when he saw all the scratches on her arms and hands even her clothes where all grubby because she had been rolling down a roof covered with algae.

'Zhi Wei why don't you take Xiao yan zhi into the room and help her change and also put some ointment on her wounds and injuries' Lao ye said as he swiftly turned to Yongqi and Li Jing.

'Yongqi why did you let Xiao yan zhi fall like that why didn't you catch her like you always did when she falls off the roof huh?' Lao ye was questioning Yongqi.

'Yongqi is wrong, I'm sorry' Yongqi said as he lowered his head and quickly looked at Li Jing.

'This was all Li Jing's fault, I would have caught Xiao yan zhi if he wasn't there also trying to catch her, he should know that a husband should protect his wife,It's not like Xiao yan zhi is his wife' Yongqi thought to himself.

'Yes Yongqi and Li Jing why didn't you catch me?' Xiao yan zhi let go of Zhi Wei and walked up to face them. 'I'm sorry Xiao yan zhi I..I..' Yongqi said. 'Don't worry both of you I was just joking, I'm still alive aren't i?' Xiao yan zhi said teasingly.

Lao ye was very disappointed that both Plan A and Plan B did not work out as he thought it would. 'Alright, I'll need more time to think up some new plans that HAVE to WORK this time'.

Zhi Wei smiled at Lao ye and knew that he was thinking up new plans to help Xiao yan zhi and Yong qi make up and get together again.

Xiao yan zhi pulled Yongqi up and then pulled Li Jing up. They all headed back into the house and got ready for some town shopping as usually requested by Xiao yan zhi.

Chapter 21

'Xiao yan zhi isn't this enought already' Lao Ye said teasingly as he held up five of Xiao yan zhi's 'lastest' buyings.

'Well, Lao Ye I have friends back home, I want to give them all lots of Presents' Xiao yan zhi replied. 'Alright just promise me that I won't have to carry any of them' Lao Ye teased Xiao yan zhi.

'You won't need to worry! because we have Er Kang, Yongqi, Zhi Wei, Li Jing and everybody else' Xiao yan zhi gave them all a big smile. Everybody sighed because they knew that they were going to have to help carry the bags.

Everyone sighed again and Xiao yan zhi gave a little giggle.

The day's end came quickly! At the end of the day no one ended up carrying Xiao yan zhi's shopping but of course Yongqi and Li Jing.

Yongqi and Li Jing hesitantly agreed to help Xiao yan zhi because she had brought simply a load full of things that even she couldn't hold herself.

'Xiao yan zhi time to end your shopping spree we are know all gonna go broke because of you plus all we did today was follow you from store to store!' Zhi Wei said as she pulled Xiao yan zhi's shoulder.

'Alright for the sake of you all I'll go' Xiao yan zhi put on her innocent look and slumped her shoulders and walked behind them as they made their way back to the hotel.

'Remind me never again to agree to another of Xiao yan zhi's shopping sprees,' Lao ye said as everyone nodded and stretched their aching backs.

' It wasn't that bad, look on the bright side I got my shopping done!' Xiao yan zhi Said pretending to act annoyed.

'Alright Alright Everybody lets eat!' Lao ye commanded and everyone ate. Everybody just ate in silence as no one had anything to say.

'Lao ye may I be excused from dinner, I want to leave early and look at the things I brought today from the market' Xiao yan zhi said, she needn't say anymore as her pleading big eyes already did it all. 'Alright' Lao ye said.

'Zhi Wei do you want to come and help me sort out what things are for who?' Xiao yan zhi asked. Zhi Wei nodded. 'Lao ye may I be excused too, I want to go with Xiao yan zhi too!' Zhi Wei said as she stood up and bowed together with Xiao yan zhi.

'Aright, you both have permission to go but be careful' Lao Ye said. 'Alright Lao Ye why the nagging, what bad thing could happen to the almightly Xiao yan zhi!' Xiao yan zhi bragged about herself.

'OK, go the both of you, do take care' Lao ye and everybody in the room (sitting around the dinning table).

'I wonder if they miss us' Zhi Wei said. 'Do you thinks that there are any troubles back there' Xiao yan zhi said looking almost serious. 'So what you think that there will be troubles if you are not there' Zhi Wei teased. 'Zhi Wei you are so evil' Xiao yan zhi teased back as they continued to walk.

'Oh look Xiao yan zhi, these are lovely flowers' Zhi wei said turning to smell the flowers. Zhi Wei heard some strange noised in the background and was shocked to find a black man putting his hand over Xiao yan zhi's mouth and flying away with her.

'xiao yan zhi? Xiao yan zhi!' Zhi Wei yelled as she ran back as fast as possible.

When she got into the room everyone was shocked to find Zhi Wei puffed out and running out of breath. 'Lao Ye Lao Ye, Yong Qi...' Zhi Wei said inbetween breathes. 'Zhi Wei are you alright, what happened where is Xiao yan zhi?

'Xiao yan zhi got kidnapped by a man wearing black1' Zhi Wei said as she looked at her brother Yongqi. His face turning from nromal to extremely shocked. He went pale.

Chapter 22

'Yongqi, calm yourself no matter where Xiao yan zhi is I'm sure she is alright!' Lao Ye said. Everyone looked at each other seriously. Yongqi froze. He stood rooted to the ground and stared into no where.

'Yongqi are you ok?'Zhi Wei was worried about her brother because Yongqi loves Xiao yan zhi alot and whatever happened to her he would certainly not want to live without her.

'Look don't you remember the last time when Xiao yan zhi got held in the chess store well she survived that didn't she?' Zhi Wei patted Yongqi's back.

Er Kang walked up to Zhi Wei and held her hand. Then gave her a reassuring look. 'They will both be alright!' Er Kang muttered to Zhi Wei.

Meanwhile the man dressed in black had brought Xiao yan zhi to a lighted cave which was extremely far way from where Lao ye,and the rest were.

Xiao yan zhi was laid on a bed. She stirred and opened her eyes. 'where am I?'Xiao yan zhi said as she sat up looking around confused.

'Huanzhugege, you looked like you have recovered from the sleeping gas now?' a man dressed in black asked her.

'Who are you and HOW dare you kidnap me?!' xiao yan zhi yelled at the top of her lungs. She walked up to him and tried to kick the man but he was good at kungfu and dodged her attack.

'Huanzhugege, watch it! Now that you have awaken why don't we have a little fun!' the man in black said. 'Don't you even think about it' Xiao yan zhi said as she clutched to her clothes tightly.

The man jumped towards her and tried to grab her but Xiao yanzhi dodged and went out near the mouth of the cave.

'Let's see how you can get me now?' Xiao yanzhi said with a big smile as she tap his two shoulders which made him freeze on the spot.

Xiao yan zhi circled him and did all sorts of faces at him 'huh, you think that you could get me! I'm xiao yan zhi the superior! Let's see how you can get me now!' Xiao yan zhi said as she pushed him on the ground and headed out of the cave.

'Come back! or you'll be sorry' the man yelled but Xiao yan zhi was so far now that his voice was only heard faintly.

'Look Yongqi don't worry i bet Xiao yan zhi is on her way now looking for us!' Zhi Wei said trying her best to comfort her 'dead-looking' brother.

'Xiao yan zhi, Xiao yan zhi, Xiao yan zhi...' Yongqi said over and over again as if he was a broken down robot.

'Ooi, I give up my brother is useless to persuade if Xiao yan zhi is not around! But i wonder how she is now!' ZHi Wei thought to herself as she looked up aat the ceiling.

yongqi noticed that Zhi Wei was also just as sad as he was. 'How do I live without you xiao yan zhi, please come back or I will come and save you!' Yongqi thought to himself.

'Wow! the market is really full I'm so hungry but i don't have any money' Xiao yan zhi thought as she clutched her stomach in hunger.

'Buns Buns lovely delicious buns for sale' a bun seller announced. 'Hey mister may i have a bun for free?' Xiao yan zhi asked ever so hungry now. 'NO! you must pay if you don't have money go away!' was the shopkeepers reply.

Xiao yan zhi was pushed away.

'Sheesh! people these days can be so mean1' Xiao yan zhi said as she smiled at herself. From underneth her clothes she took out a freshly baked bun. 'My good tactics still work' she said as she took bits off the bun.

'Zhi Wei, Yongqi, Lao Ye, Er Kang and Li Jing I wonder how everyone is doing now?' Xiao yan zhi thought as she stared into mid air then she snapped out of it and shrugged her shoulder and worried about more important things - where was she going to sleep and what about tomorrows food? This was definantly going to be hard.

Xiao yan zhi wondered the streets. She worried about where she is going to sleep and stay during the night. 'This is not like home because back there she even had a Da Zha Yuen to go to but now she knows no one.

She sighed as she continued her journey to find Lao ye and the others. She stopped for a moment. She especially wanted to see Yongqi!

'Yongqi wants Lao Ye's permission to go and find Xiao yan zhi' Yongqi said as he knelt in front of Lao Ye.

Lao ye sensing that his favourite son is under distress he had no other choice but to say 'Yes you may!'.

'Lao ye may I go with Yongqi to find Xiao yan zhi?' Zhi Wei and Li Jing both said in unison.

Yongqi gave a sharp glance at Li Jing but sofened to see his sister so worried about him and Xiao yan zhi. 'No Lao Ye may I go alone'. Lao Ye nodded in reply and Yongqi left to get ready.

'Hand us all your money' a big man said as he threatened to stab the crouching man on the ground. 'Wu Feng, does not know what money' the man named Wu Feng said.

'don't play dumb with me, I'm Kang Xi the leader of the black salamanders, you owe me money and now its due date!' Kang xi said again kicking Wu Feng on the ground.

Xiao yan zhi looked at this poor man he was quite handsome indeed, sounded like he was well educated and talented. She could not just stand there and watch him getting beated up.

'Please I did not take the whatso ever money that I owe you, maybe you have gotten me mixed up with someone else?' Wu Feng said 'do you think that I am dumb, not being able to tell between you or a different person?' Kang Xi Said as he lifted his hand to hit Wu Feng.

'STOP! don't hit him' xiao yan zhi flew into the fight. 'don't you dare hit him or else' xiao yan zhi said as she took a side long glance at Wu Feng reassuring that he was alright.

'Wu Feng is this your little wife, if it is why not give her to me in exchange for the money!' Kang xi said as he eyed her up and down scratching his chin.

'This girl is rather a stunning beauty but what is she doing here' Thought wu Feng.

'I'm not his anybody I'm just a passerbyer, and I came upon this incident, why are you framing a poor man like him into something he didn't even do?' xiao yan zhi said.

'He borrowed money from me and its the due date today, move over little lady and i'll deal with you later' Kang Xi said as he walked towards Wu Feng and Xiao yan zhi.

Kang xi reached down to grab Wu Feng but Xiao yan zhi kicked him in the face.

'Men come and hold this girl for me I want to get her back for kicking me, punishment time' Kang Xi ordered.

five men came up to Xiao yan zhi attempting to grab her but she was too quick for them. They had a kungfu match but the men of Kang Xi were very poor in Kungfu and were easily defeated by Xiao yan zhi.

'Watch out little lady' Kang xi said as he started to fight with her after all his men were lying down with aching pains.

Kangxi however was good at Kungfu (alittle better than Xiao yan zhi) and caught her. 'Let me go you beast' Xiao yan zhi said as she squirmed. 'You can't get away from me and now that I've caught you, your mine!' Kangxi said trying to plant a kiss on her cheek but to his surprise...

Chapter 23

Kang Xi yelled in pain and let go of Xiao yan zhi. Xiao yan zhi kick Kang Xi in the weak point and he fell helplessly down on the ground.

MEANWHILE...

Yongqi was walking through the town. 'This is very far from where Lao Ye is, I don't think Xiao yan zhi would be THIS far would she?' Yongqi thought to himself.

A circle of people gathered around Xiao yan zhi, Wu Feng and Kang Xi.

'Cool, this pretty girl must be very strong! She defeated Kang Xi the leader of the Black Salamanders' one commoner said loudly. 'Yeah! Last time a guy didn't pay up and he was bashed to death, this very place' another commoner added.

'Leave all of you!' xiao yan zhi yelled as she pointed to her left. She pretended to hit them again but scared as they were they left as soon as she said for them to leave.

Xiao yan zhi quickly helped Wu Feng up and asked him 'are you alright?' Wu Feng replied 'Thank you for saving me, honestly I didn't take the money!'.

'It's alright, it's right to bash up bad people like I used to' Xiao yan zhi said full of pride.

'Anyway where do you live?' Wu Feng asked. 'I need to look for a home. I just got to this town!' Xiao yan zhi said as she lowered her head alittle.

'Why don't you stay at my house I live alone and luckily I have one empty room!' wu Feng said. 'you are always welcome to stay at my house savouir'.

Soon the crowd died away and no one was left there except Yongqi who was daydreaming about Xiao yan zhi. He snapped out of it and something had caught his eye.

He looked at the empty money bag laying on the ground. It was a expensive looking money bag made out of patterned fabric. Who would leave it there?

'Isn't that...could it be...This is Xiao yan zhi's money bag, the one I brought for while we were shopping the other day! Yongqi exclaimed. He turned the bag inside out and it read Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi forever.

'Xiao yan zhi around here somewhere, she couldn't have gotten far because she has no money and no where to sleep she must be close by...' Yongqi quickly thought as he paced the streets until late but with no sucess of finding her.

He returned to where Lao Ye and the others to bring the good and bad news about Xiao yan zhi...

It was quite old, tattered windows and walls but when Xiao yan zhi walked in it felt incredibly warm and comfortable inside.

'This may look kinda old on the outside but really comfortable inside!' Wu Feng Said, 'I agree too!' Xiao yan zhi replied.

'Eh he! Look at all this gold and food!' Wu Feng said as he swiped out the load of Gold and food from inside the bag he was carrying. 'Wha were did all this come from?' Xiao yan zhi said.

'I steal!' Wu Feng said in a cheeky tone. He admired his great work of getting a good feast tonight. 'Steal? But outside you sounded as if you were so educated and you would never steal?' Xiao yan zhi said looking at him confused.

'How do you expect me to live? Ha Now I know my acting skills were pretty good, even you were fooled' Wu Feng said looking at her amused face.

'I used to be Xiao yan zhi the great hero, my acting skills are far more better than yours!' Xiao yan zhi said cheekishly.

'you are just like me except that you are male, Wu Feng!' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed glad to have someone who knows how to joke.

'Wu Feng is just a pretend name my actual name is Xiao Teng' Xiao Teng replied.

'Is there anything else you say that is not a lie?' Xiao yan zhi joked. They shared the food Xiao Teng stole and laughed and ate at the sametime.

'I didn't see her but I saw the money purse that I brought for her remember?' Yongqi said.

'We will all go on a big search for her tomorrow but now in the mean time everyone must rest' Lao Ye said

In the morning, Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng went out to find food the stealing way.

'Oh dear sister, all our travel money has been used up how do we get home now?' Xiao Teng faked at sad voice.

'Brother we are in china, everyone in china will help us as they are very kind to poor people. If they will give us a little bit of money for return money we will preform for them' xiao yan zhi said as she got out her old Street Preforming skills

They fought using Kung fu. and everyone cheered and Laughed. Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng raised alot of money and that night decided to get some dinner

'Not just a dinner a BIG feast' Xiao yan zhi said as she smiled at Xiao Teng.

Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng have been staying with each other for nearly one week now and Xiao Teng has deeply fell for xiao yan zhi.

After the dinner, Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng returned home Laughing and giggling all the way.

They sat at the lounge room talking about time of embarasment and sad times and also very funny times.

Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng are laughing hard now! 'you know I actually fell for you, I Like you. I have never like a girl before but you are the only one that I like' Xiao Teng said saying in between laughs.

Xiao yan zhi was still laughing hard. She stopped after his speech. she froze.

Xiao Teng who noticed her confused look 'Xiao yan zhi are you alright?' he said. 'But why... Ah ha you kidding right..you can't fool me' Xiao yan zhi said giving him a little shove on the shoulder.

' No I'm not joking I really love you, please think about it?' Xiao Teng said going red. He left the quiet room..

'He likes me...? But why?' Xiao yan zhi said as she recalled her wonderful husband Yongqi, 'Will I ever see him again?'

Chapter 24

(That night at Xiao Tengs house)

Xiao yan zhi and Xiao Teng were having an unusual quiet dinner. 'Should I tell him the truth about being a princess and that I already and only love Yongqi?' xiao yan zhi thought to herself.

'Should I ask her if she has thought it over yet? No wait... I might sound like I'm desperate to know if she loves me?' Xiao Teng asked himself but decided to keep his cool.

'xiao Teng, I know you have been really nice to me these weeks, giving me a house to live in and nice food to eat and most of all your companionship but I cannot like you...' Xiao yan zhi said very uncomfortably.

'what do you mean?' Xiao Teng asked

'I already love someone and I am a...' Xiao yan zhi cut herself off the last part 'should I tell him or not?' Xiao yan zhi again asked herself.

Xiao Teng gave her a puzzled look and tilted his head to the side. 'Don't worry you can trust me I won't tell anyone' Xiao Teng said.

'I'm Huanzhugege, I'm already married to Wu Ah Ge' Xiao yan zhi said in a whisper. 'Huanzhugege?Wu ah ge?' xiao Teng murmered as he nodded his head from side to side in disbelief.

'I was kidnapped, I got away from the kidnapper until I came here' Xiao yan zhi said looking around the house.

'Huanzhugege Jixiang! I'm sorry if Xiao Teng hasn't treated you in the best way!' Xiao Teng said as he thought to himself 'I wonder if Huanzhugege is satisfied with this wrecked old house'.

'Please! If you use formality I won't be your friend anymore!' Joked Xiao yan zhi.

'Let's forget what happened, Friends?' Xiao Teng said quickly as he knew he had no chance with Xiao yan zhi and gave up. 'Alright Friends' Xiao yan zhi said shaking his hand.

'I'll help you find Wu Ah Ge with you tomorrow!' xiao Teng said wondering what kind of reward he was going to get.

'Please eat Yongqi, if you don't eat you'll just be skin and bones!' Zhi Wei said as she tried to comfort her brother.

'Xiao yan zhi please return now, I just can't ber to part with you,Xiao yan zhi...' Yongqi kept on saying as he stood near the window.

'Please even Xiao yan zhi would want to you eat if she were here wouldn't she?' Zhi Wei asked Yongqi, herself trying to fight back tears.

(THE NEXT DAY)

'Zhi Wei, Er Kang quickly we have to find Xiao yan zhi today or else I'm going to go crazy!' Yongqi hurried along Zhi Wei and Er Kang.

'Calm down we'll find her' Er Kang replied.

Yongqi, Zhi Wei and Er Kang walked around every street but still no sign of xiao yan zhi.

It was getting late Er Kang and Zhi Wei had already left to go home but Yongqi wanted to stay longer.
Suddenly Yongqi heard a familiar voice!

'Xiao Teng can't you walk any faster, if you don't it would take us four weeks just to walk around the whole city!' Xiao yan zhi teased.

'Was that Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked himself as he turned around to the direction of the voice.

(WHERE XIAO YAN ZHI AND XIAO TENG ARE)

Suddenly to Xiao Tengs surprise Xiao yan zhi fainted on the floor.

'Xiao yan zhi are you alright, speak to me?' Xiao Teng shook her shoulders vigourously.

He carried her in his arms. The nearest doctors house was a long way from where they were. 'Xiao yan zhi you have to hold on!' Xiao Teng whispered to xiao yan zhi.

Xiao Teng was running with his head down looking at the floor so he didn't notice what was in front of him.

BUMP! He had bumped into someone

'Sorry, can you please help me? my friend here has fainted mysteriously and I need some help to get her to the doctors' Xiao Teng said to the man.

'Sure, I'll lead the way!' the voice of the man replied as xiao Teng followed the man.

Soon xiao Teng and the man arrived at the doctors. The man went in to summon the doctor that there is a sick patient waiting outside.

The man offered to pay while Xiao teng brought Xiao Yan zhi into the room.

'How is she doctor?' Xiao Teng asked.

'She will be alright, she only got a mild case of food poisioning' the doctor said.

'Thank you very much' Xiao Teng replied.

'I hope your friend is alright!' the man said. 'Thank you for your concern, thank you for helping me. What may I ask is your name?' Xiao Teng asked.

'I'm Yongqi, and you are?' Yongqi asked. 'I'm xiao Teng'.

'Well I have to get going now as I need to look for someone' Yongqi said as he started out the door.

'I haven't seen your around here much? Are you from somewhere outside town?' Xiao Teng asked. 'Yes, I'm not very familar with this place' Yongqi replied.

'If your looking for someone I can help you, because I grew up in this village so I practically know this village like the back of my hand' Xiao Teng said proudly .

'I'm looking for a girl around about 18-19 years old, very pretty and has big round eyes' Yongqi said as he exagurated on the big eyes part.

xiao Teng tilted his head to aside. 'This sound so much like Xiao Yan zhi' xiao Teng thought to himself.

'May I ask what her name is?' xiao Teng asked afraid of what the name was going to be.

'Her name is Xiao Yan zhi' Yongqi replied.

'xiao yan zhi? Xiao yan zhi?' Xiao teng stuttered. 'Yes! Xiao Yan zhi' Yongqi repeated again.

'But my friends name is also Xiao Yan Zhi and she fits your description' Xiao Teng replied, 'she says she was kidnapped, she escaped and she came here'.

'That has to be her' Yongqi suddenly siad aloud.

Yongqi ran into the room where Xiao Yan Zhi rested.

There laying on the bed was he beloved xiao Yan zhi. She looked so lifeless and so wierd from the happy go lucky Xiao Yan zhi.

'Xiao Yan zhi I've finally found you! You don't know how long I have been looking for you' Yongqi said trying to fight back tears.

Xiao Yan zhi stirred.

'Is she waking up?' Yongqi asked himself as he went closer to her.

suddenly Xiao Yan zhi vomitted blood out. It missed Yongqi just by a little bit. Xiao yan zhi fell back on to the bed with blood trickling down the corner of her mouth.

Chapter 25

'doctor come in!' Yongqi yelled still holding on to Xiao yan zhi's hand 'why has she vomited blood?'.

'sir, It is a good sign that she has vomitted blood because the blood that was vomitted was the poision and the waste' the doctor replied.

'Good! xiao yan zhi you'll be fine' Yongqi said swiftly turning to face Xiao Yan zhi.

'I will go and make some medicine for this young lady' the doctor said.

Xiao yan zhi stirred and stirred.

'Yongqi, Xiao Teng where are you?' Xiao yan zhi murmered as she stirred.

She opened her eyes and stared at Yongqi. 'Xiao yan zhi are you alright? I was so worried!' Yongqi asked giving her a soft kiss on the head.

'As long as your are alright I rejoice' Yongqi said.

'Xiao yan zhi will you forgive me, and let us not quarral again!' Yongqi said.

'Forgive you? Of course not!' xiao yan zhi snapped back. She smiled when she saw Yongqi's stunned look, his handsome brown eyes widen and his mouth agap.

'Just joking! Where would I ever find someone like you again, dearest Yongqi' xiao yan zhi teased.

'You are still as bad as ever Xiao yan zhi' Yongqi smiled and paused 'but I like it'.

The couple hugged. They both wished this would last forever because they haven't hugged for a long time due to their quarral.

'Let's go home tomorrow!' Yongqi asked Xiao yan zhi.
'Yes we should but on one condition!' Xiao yan zhi said sitting straight on the bed.

'We have to bring xiao Teng along with us, no matter what!' Xiao yan zhi said

' Alright He can come along with us' Yongqi said smiling that he has finally found his wonderful wife again.

'xiao Teng you've gotta meet Zhi Wei who is my sworn sister, Er Kang who is Zhi Wei's husband, Li Jing who is a prince, and Lao Ye who is...' Xiao yan zhi said abruptly as she turned and looked around the empty streets. Then she whispered 'Huang Shang'.

Xiao Teng nodded.

'Outside the palace, I'm known as Shao Ye and Xiao yan zhi is called Xiao yan zhi she acts as Lao Ye's maid' Yongqi also added after Xiao yan zhi.

'and there is also rules when you meet Huang Shang like bowing and always talking fluent' Xiao yan zhi said as he imitated the 'fluent'.

'Huh? so much to learn then I'm not coming!' xiao Teng said thinking about studing.

'Don't worry I'll teach you when we get there' Xiao yan zhi said sounding as if she knew how to do it. 'Xiao yan zhi you can't even learn them yourself why teach other people!' Yongqi joked.

'Xiao Teng you are so good! You are just like me your family background is just like mine I was also very poor' Xiao yan zhi circled Xiao Teng asking alot of Questions.

'Alright Xiao yan zhi I think you have known enough of XiaoTeng already, we have to hurry now to get back in time!' Yongqi informed xiao yan zhi.

The three made there way back to where the rest stayed.

'Zhi Wei, Er Kang why hasn't Yongqi returned?' Lao ye was getting worried and demanded to know where Yongqi had gone.

'Lao Ye let Li Jing go and look for all three of them' Li Jing offered to Lao Ye

'OK you may go but come back as soon as possible' Lao Ye answered quickly waving his hand motioning for him to go now.

Zhi Wei was so distressed to see her father like that she frowned. Er Kang didn't like to see his wife like that, 'Zhi Wei don't frown I know they will be back soon!' ER Kang said holding Zhi Wei's hand and looking deep into her eyes. Zhi Wei blushed and turned her head towards Lao Ye who had his face buried in his hands.

Once upon seeing this she stopped smiling and frowned again this time she started to cry. Hot tears arose from her eyes and dripped down her beautiful cheeks. Er Kang noticed this he immedietly used his sleeve to wipe away tears. 'Zhi Wei please don't cry! I feel as if a thousand knives have been stabbed into my heart' Er Kang comforted clutching to his heart.

Zhi Wei buried herself in Er Kang's chest and sobbed her heart out 'Where is XIao yanzhi and where is yongqi? When will they be back? Are they hurt?' Zhi Wei questioned ErKang during sobs.

For being to wiseist and most intellegent of the gang for the first time Er Kang could not answer her questions.

'xiao yanzhi just over that hill is home' yongqi said hugging Xiao yanzhi who returned the hug with a kiss.

'Please! I'm here too you know, can't you keep your mushy scenes until home' Xiao Teng pretended to be angry.

'Xiao yan zhi, yongqi there you are' Li Jing said as he caught up to them.

'Li Jing, is it really you Li Jing?' Xiao yan zhi winced her eyes to see the person.

Li Jing ran up and held her shoulders 'Yes it's me! Everyone has been extremely worried about you!' Li Jing announced.

Xiao Teng noticed this close welcome then he looked at the fuming Yongqi!

'Eh Eh Eh! A hem I'm xiao Teng' Xiao Teng announced delibratly sliding in between xiao yan zhi and Li Jing so that Li Jing was now standing far away from Xiao yanzhi.

'Nice to meet you Xiao Teng?' Li Jing greeted. Leading the way Li Jing directed the way back to the house.

Chapter 26

'Lao Ye, Yongqi has returned' Yongqi said as he came in following Li Jing. Lao Ye looked around behind Yongqi expecting someone else.

'Where is Xiao yan zhi? Did you find her? Where were you these two days?' Lao ye asked concernedly praying for hope that they found xiao yan zhi or even find if she is alive.

Yongqi smiled and went to the door then ushered for someone to come in. 'Are you looking for me Huang ah ma?' the happy Xiao yan zhi stepped in.

'Xiao yan zhi!' Zhi Wei and Lao Ye cried. Zhi Wei ran to Xiao yan zhi and hugged her tightly and Xiao yan zhi returned the sisterly hug.

'Where were you? were you hurt? You frightened my Xiao yan zhi!' ZhiWei stuttered uncontrollablly.

'Huang ah ma! I'm so glad I'm back to see you!' Xiao yan zhi said running up to Lao Ye and hugging him.

'I think that this man who kiddnapped you must have been from the white Lotus Clan so we have to be careful, who knows what else they might try to pull on us!' Er Kang warned everyone.

'We will go back to the palace now since this trip isn't very well safe' Lao Ye suggested. 'No Lao Ye lets stay please, I don't want to get cooped up in the palace again!' xiao yan zhi hesitated.

'You might meet that man again and might get kidnapped again' ZhiWei comforted Xiao yan zhi who was still nagging.

Lao Ye thought for a while. 'Zhi Wei has a point there, it might happen so I guess the palace is our next destination' Lao Ye said amused at Xiao yan zhi's nagging face and expression.

'When do we leave?' Er Kang asked. 'How about Tomorrow?' Li jing also added to the end of Er Kang's question.

'Alright then tomorrow morning!' Lao Ye said . 'Now Xiao yan zhi you have to be more mature' Lao Ye teased Xiao yan zhi pouted.

'I am so mature you just don't know me well enough!' Xiao yan zhi said trying to act like a ge ge.

'If that is mature than what are we all. Anyway if you don't mature who would want to marry you?' Lao Ye teased.

'Well then, Yongqi must have been the fool to marry me!' Xiao yan zhi giggled as she looked at Yongqi.

' I would marry you even if you were not matured, cause that's the way I like you' Yongqi said watching Xiao yan zhi go red.

'Ohhh... so you two made up without telling us huh?' ZhiWei walked over to Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi 'some brother and sister you two are!'.

Everyone laughed except for Li Jing who stood still rooted to the ground 'she is married to Wu Ah Ge?' he asked himself.

'You are wedded to Wu ah ge?' Li Jing asked Xiao yan zhi. 'Yes!' Xiao yan zhi replied as she leaned back onto Yongqi's chest.

'But, you didn't seem to be because you didn't talk to each other and you don't share the same room?' Li Jing asked confused hoping like hell that she wasn't married to Yongqi.

'Cause' it's all Yongqi's fault!' Xiao yan zhi said as she pretended to look angry at Yongqi.

'Alright Alright I was wrong okay!' Yongqi hesitantly admitted. 'you see I was helping Li Wan but Xiao yan zhi misunerstood what i was doing, she thought that Li Wan and I liked each other' Yongqi said watching Xiao yan zhi blush.

'Ohh I see...' Li Jing replied simply. 'Yea, well I looked like it!' Xiao yan zhi snapped back.

'Alright now that we have straightened everything out lets go to sleep and get ready to leave tomorrow for the palace' Lao ye said interupting the youngsters talk.

'Good night' everyone said in unison and headed off to their rooms.

Tomorrow was a great day ahead of them to conquer.

'Xiao yan zhi who is your friend outside riding the horses with Yongqi and Er Kang?' Lao Ye asked just out of the blues.

'Yea, xiao yan zhi only you know him but we don't!' zhi Wei also added after hearing Lao Ye's question.

xiao yan zhi poked her head out of the carrage and yelled 'Xiao Teng could you come here please'.

Xiao Teng heard her and pulled his horse next to the carrage window 'Yes Xiao yan zhi, what did you call me for?' Xiao Teng asked trying to sound angry.

'This is Lao Ye' she pointed at Lao Ye 'and this is my sister Zhi Wei' Xiao yan zhi said pointing to Zhi Wei.

'Nice to meet you Huang Shang and Ming Zhu Ge Ge' Xiao Teng said politely afraid that if he called them what Xiao yan zhi called them he might be beheaded.

Xiao yan zhi looked confused, she didn't know why Xiao Teng called them by their royal status names.

'xiao yan zhi, Didn't I tell you not to reveal your true identity to anyone!' Lao Ye asked angriliy.

'Go asked Yongqi, it's all his fault but Lao Ye I'm sure Xiao Teng here is very trustable' Xiao yan zhi said proudly.

Lao Ye nodded and looked at Xiao Teng 'Nice to meet you'.

'xiao yan zhi, you have a very pretty sister!' xiao Teng exclaimed. Zhi Wei blushed and smiled.

It was nearly night when they got back to the palace. Huang shang and Lao Fuo Ye held a big celebration for the return of the travellers.

'and you are???' Lao Fuo Ye looked at Xiao Teng who looked around the room.

'Oh, he is Xiao Teng, he let my live in his house when I had no house to live in, he is offically now my very good friend!' Xiao yan zhi said.

'Ni Hao(nice to meet you) Lao Fuo Ye' Xiao Teng said as he did not know the way to greet a royal member properly.

Lao Fuo Ye looked at him. Xiao yan zhi knew this was bad.

'Xiao Teng you have to say 'xiao Teng greets Lao Fuo Ye, don't worry I'll teach you everything some day' Xiao yan zhi said.

Lao Fuo Ye's frown turned into a smile. 'xiao yan zhi you can't learn it yourself, imagine what your teaching would be like'. Everyone laughed.

They ate and after eating they all headed towards their rooms.

'Xiao yan zhi can't you stay out of other peoples business'' Yongqi said.

'Why should I?' Xiao yan zhi stopped and asked feeling annoyed with Yongqi.

Yongqi circled his arms around Xiao yan zhi and whispered in her ears 'ok ok Liu Hong and Xiao Teng are a good couple ok?'. Xiao yan zhi decided to play hard to get 'You don't really mean it!'. Yongqi gave her a passionate kiss on the lips 'do you believe me now?' Yongqi said looking deep in her eyes.

'yongqi you are as bad as ever!' xiao yan zhi teased Yongqi. 'I'm bad am I?' Yongqi said with a cheeky smile and walked up to Xiao yan zhi. In a split second, Yongqi started to tickle Xiaoyan zhi on her waist until she screamed with giggles.

They both ran around the room trying to tickle each other until they ran out of breath. 'It's time to tuck in Xiaoyan zhi, Don't you want to go to Hui bing Lou tomorrow?' Yongqi said looking for a good excuse to tuck in since he has been tired all day. Xiao yan zhi hesitated for a moment then an idea popped into her head, she giggled 'Yes,must go to Hui Bing Lou tomorrow HEHEHE' Xiao yanzhi said smiling and scratching her chin.

Yongqi watched his cheeky wife hop into bed and smile while she slept. 'What is she up to?'Yongqi thought but soon he himself drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Zhi Wei, Er Kang, xiao Teng were all waiting outside for Xiaoyan zhi and Yongqi to wake up and go to Hui Bin Lou all together.

Er Kang knocked on the door 'Xiao yan zhi, Yongqi time to wake up!'. There was no answer. Er Kang had a good Idea! 'Xiao yan zhi, HUI BING LOU!' ErKang said Hui Bing Lou really loudly. Then they could hear a shuffle then clothes and a minute later Xiao yan zhi popped out of the door all dressed in commoners clothing.

Xiao Teng took a step back and shreiked. 'What?' Xiao yan zhi asked courisely. 'Geez, you dress quick!' xiao Teng replied.

'Well, I'm not slow like some people!' xiao yan zhi Teased Xiao Teng. Xiao Teng just laughed.

'Xiao yan zhi, lets go!' Er Kang said as he lead the way. 'Wait! what about Wu Ah Ge?' Zhi Wei suddenly said. 'Oh yes I almost forgot' Er Kang said hitting his forhead.

'Can't we just go without him?' Xiao yan zhi was desperate to get out of the palace. 'No can you imagine if Yongqi couldn't find you in the palace, he would go mad' Zhi Wei replied worriedly.

'I'll go in and call him up' Er Kang offered but Xiao yan zhi bloked the way. 'I've tried that but he won't wake up, lazy pig' Xiao yan zhi said giggling when she said that he was a lazy pig.

'What are we going to do now?' Zhi Wei thought to herself then frowning.

' I have an idea' Xiao teng said as he whispered in everyone about the plan then everyone nodded their heads.

(10 min later)

'Ahhhhhh, help someone,help me, help someone, help me!' xiao yan zhi cried jumping on the spot. 'Xiao yan zhi, be careful, no Xiao yan zhi!' Zhi Wei also yelled pretending to sound scared.

'Oh no, now who will save Xiao yan zhi!' Xiao Teng and Er Kang both said in a fake voice. 'HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!!YONGQI!!!!' xiao yan zhi's piercing voice yelled.

Inside the room Yongqi was awaken by Xiao yan zhi's cries. 'Oh my gosh! what's wrong with Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi said to himself hurringly putting on his clothes then rushing out the door to find Xiao yan zhi jumping around yelling while the others started to laugh.

Xiao yan zhi didn't see Yongqi so she continued her acting. Yongqi knew that this was a setup and quietly walked up to Xiao yan zhi who was still jumping around and yelling for dear life.

Zhi Wei, Er Kang and Xiao Teng tried to give Xiao yan zhi winks and indications that Yongqi was behind her but all Xiaoyan zhi saw was Er Kang, Zhi Wei and Xiao Teng all winking at her meaning she is a good actress.

Yongqi grabbed her shoulders and said in a deep voice 'Got you know!'. Xiao yan zhi turned around and gave him a big punch on the nose.

Yongqi stood up with his hands cupped around his nose, he removed his hands and said pretending to be angry 'What Er Kang? I'm the one that was hit!' Yongqi put his hands on the bruise on his nose.

Xiao yan zhi erupted into giggles uncontrollably. Xiao Teng, Zhi Wei and Er Kang exchanged funny glances. Yongqi noticing that xiao Yan zhi didn't care for him pretended that his nose was broken

'Ah, why is this bone her loose' Yongqi said as he clutched onto his nose. 'Oh no It's broken!' Yongqi said kneeling down. Zhi Wei, Er Kang, and xiao Teng ran over to Yongqi and asked him how he was but Yongqi quickly looked up with out Xiao yan zhi looking and smiled. The three of them continued Yongqi's acting.

'Aiya, xiao yan zhi you really have broken his nose' Zhi Wei said acting as real as possible. Xiao yan zhi stopped laughing and looked up. 'Now I'll go call Hu Tai Yi!' Er Kand said pretending to get up and walk away.

'Ah, yongqi I'm sorry I hit you and laughed, me dumb, me stupid, sorry are you alright!' Xiao yan zhi said suddenly running over to Yongqi and hugging him.

Yongqi let go of his nose and hugged Xiao yan zhi back 'Xaio yan zhi serves you right for playing such a trick on me!' Yongqi said pretending to be angry.

'Ha looks who's talking, you played a trick on me!' xiao yan zhi said pinching Yongqi on the nose slightly. 'Oww...' Yongqi said yelping in pain 'Yonqi I'm not born yesterday and I'm surely not going to fall for the same trick twice' Xiao yan zhi said walking away.

Zhi Wei and the rest all laughed and shook their heads.

(At Hui Bing Lou)

'Jin Suo, Liu QIng, Xiao Jian,' Xiao yan zhi said then swiftly turned to Liu Hong 'and LIU HONG'. Liu Hong looked confused 'what are you up to Xiaoyan zhi?' Liu Hong said confused.

'Oh, nothing!' Xiao yan zhi replied but everyone knew that cheeky Xiao yan zhi was up to something.

All through dinner at Hui Bing Lou Xiao yan zhi chatted non-stop to both Liu Hong and Xiao Teng.

'Xiao Teng, don't you think that Liu Hong is really pretty, good at everything, good at material arts' Xaio yan zhi said leaning over to whisper in Xiao Teng's ears

Then she leaned over to Liu Hong's ears and whispered 'Liu Hong, don't you think that Xiao Teng is great, looks, smartness, love he has got it all'.

After the dinner both Liu Hong and Xiao Teng knew what she was up to 'Match making' they both thought at the same time.

After Xiao yan zhi had said these things to Liu Hong and Xiao Teng, the both of them began to develop a feeling for each other.

Now it was time to leave Hui Bing Lou! Everyone was extremely happy except Xiaoyanzhi who was depressed because she could get the two of them together.

Xiao Teng took one last look at Liu Hong and boarded the horse.

WHen they arrived to the palace, Yongqi told the guards to open the doors and the carrage went it.

After they got in the palace gate, yongqi saw something and hit the wall of the carrage 'Oh No!' he gasped.

As they were approching the gates, Li Wan waited impatiantly for their arrival. '

'Yongqi calm down! Just tell her the truth!' Erkang said remembering the time when he told Li Wan the truth that he didn't like her at all.

'Yongqi,Er Kang is right just tell her the truth but don't hurt her feelings too much!' Zhi Wei said being the soft hearted one always.

The carrage entered the palace gates.

'Wu Ah Ge, Huan Zhu Ge Ge, Zhi Wei Ge Ge, Fu Da Ye. you may get off the carrage now' an eunuch announced.

They all jumped off the carrage. Li Wan shrieked in delight as they got off. 'you're all alright, yongqi I missed you!' Li Wan said clutching on to his hand.

Yongqi felt uncomfortable so he shrugged off her embrace. 'What's wrong? I have noticed something wrong because Li Jing came back all wierd and he has been hiding in his room these days' Li Wan said.

Yongqi was shocked, he just stood there staring at Xiao yan zhi, mouth agap. Xiao yan zhi was confused 'what now?'

'Yongqi, lighten up Li Jing and you might not be the greatest of pals but i treat him like Xiao Jian' Xiao yan zhi said smiling at the metion of Xiao Jian

Yongqi faked a smile and continued to tag along after xiao yan zhi's skipping.

'why must she be married to Wu ah Ge!' Li Jing sat at the corner of his bed thinking to himself about this topic over a thousand times each day or more.

'...Huan zhu ge ge dao...' Li Jing looked up at the door full of hope that Xiao yan zhi had come to him alone but lowered his head when he heard the next line '...Wu ah Ge dao...'.

The doors of his room cracked open. The light burst into his dark surrounded room. He hissed as the light blinded his eyes (not really).

A familiar feminine voice filled his ears 'LiiiiJinnng!' Xiao yan zhi voice called out as she happily skipped into the room.

Then she stopped and looked around the room 'aiya! Why so gloomy in here' xiao yan zhi said as she went around the room opening up all the curtains and windows.

Li Jing was so happy that Xiao yan zhi had come but not as happy as Wu Ah Ge also came. Li Jing followed Xiao yan zhi around the room, glued to her. 'What's the matter, Li Jing how come you keep following me huh?' xiao yan zhi asked.

'Well...I think no wait I know that..' Li Jing continued as he thought again 'I love Xiao yan zhi but I can't break up a perfect marrage!' Li Jing thought to himself.

'Li Jing are you okay?' Xiao yan zhi asked full of concern! xiao yanzhi gave Yongqi a confused look, Yongqi faked a cofused look back because he knew what Li Jing was about to stop but Yongqi thought to himself 'why did he stop saying it?'.

Xiao yan zhi and Yong qi had to leave because Li Jing needed his rest. As Xiao yan zhi walked out the door Yongqi yelled out to her 'Xiao yan zhi you go ahead and need to talk to Li Jing for a while' and Xioa yan zhi went home by herself.

'Li Jing I thought you like xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked Li Jing curiously. 'I do I Love her as much as you do but I don't want to break up xioa yan zhi and your marrage so I'm going to sacrifice and make her happy!' Li jing said.

'Thank you Li Jing, your a great pal!' Yongqi said as Li Jing and him gave each other a 'manly' handshake.

But Li Jing could feel a stabbing pain in his heart just like when you give something precious to someone else as a present! 'How much I love this present' Li Jing said quietly said to himself.

Xiao yan zhi heard her name being called. She turned around to find Yongqi running after her. He looked unusually happy today.

'Yongqi?what wrong and why are you so happy?' Xiao yan zhi said amused because just before Yongqi looked so sad and boring but now he's...he's well happy.

Yongqi stopped in front of Xiao yan zhi, he breathed him hard because running in after Xiao yan zhi made him puffed out!

'no' Yongqi said looking at Xiao yan zhi's cute worried face. 'Your worried face is so cute and pretty, xiao yan zhi' Yongqi said.

'Oh Yongqi, stop walking in cirlces and just tell me what's the news!' Xiao yan zhi said relizing that Yongqi meant to make her worried.

'Alright Alright! Huang ah ma said that we could go out today because he noticed you were moping about all day' Yong qi said happily

Xiao yan zhi squealed in delight! 'alright Huang ah ma wan sui!' Xiao yan zhi said jumping about around the garden. Yongqi smiled to see his happy wife.

xiao yan zhi stopped her jumping and stood in front of Yongqi. 'Can we stop by Zhi Wei's house and ask for her to come as well?' Xiao yan zhi asked.

'No! Certainly NO!' Yongqi cried. 'Why?' Xiao yan zhi nagged on. 'Because she is already there!' Yongqi said just before laughing out aloud.

'Yongqi as I have said earlier you are VERY bad!' Xiao yan zhi said recalling the last time she said that.

'Alright I won't bully you' Yongqi said.

'Wait!' Xiao yan zhi stopped again pulling Yongqi to a stop. 'Can Xiao Teng come as well?' Xiao yanzhi asked then continuing her sentence 'you know Liu Hong' Xiao yan zhi said this time nudging Yongqi in the ribs

'okay' Yongqi said wondering when his playful wife would stop matchmaking people!

'Just wait here and I'll go and fetch Xiao Teng' Xiao yan zhi quickly said before sprinting off to find Xiao Teng.

At the metion of Hui Bing Lou Xiao Teng decided to go, going to Hui bing Lou means seeing friends again but most of all going to Hui Bing Lou means seeing Liu Hong!

'Sure just wait I'll get changed' Xiao Teng said hurring off to get dressed.

When Xiao Teng came out Xiao Yan zhi, Yongqi and Xiao Teng all aboarded the carrage and set out to Hui Bing Lou!

'We're here, we're here' xiao yan zhi yelled in excitment. 'Zhiiii Weiii!' xiao yan zhi yelled and ran down and hugged her. 'Xiaoyan zhi I missed you' Zhi Wei said also returning her hug.

'me too' Xiao yan zhi replied.

'Does not seeing each other for one day mean not seeing each other for ten years?' yongqi asked ErKang. ErKang just nodded his head.

'We will never understand women they're so complicated' Xiao Teng admitted.

Yongqi and Er Kang both nodded and said 'hmm'.

'Come on in you guys....talk inside' Liu Hong said as she came out uhsering everyone to come in.

once everyone came in, Xiao yan zhi stopped everyone from taken their seats. 'Wait! I'm gonna arrange the seating arrangments today' Xiao yan zhi said noticing that Yongqi was giving her the 'no' wink.

But she pretended she didn't see it. 'Now, Zhi Wei and Er Kang there, LiuQing and JinSuo there, then Yongqi and myself , xiao jian, the the two lucky last chairs are reserved for Xiao Teng and Liu Hong' Xiao yanzhi cried in excitment that her arrangements were excellent.

xiao Teng and Liu Hong looked at each other but while they did they blushed crimson red!

Xiao yanzhi noticed this little color change and was pleased that Liu Hong was soon going to tie the knot!

Everyone watched Xiao yanzhi and Liu Hong then at Xiao Teng. 'what was going on?' everyone thought

'heheheeee'Xiao yanzhi laughed all through the night. Xiao Teng felt partially happy that Liu Hong like him but partially unhappy cause Xiao yan zhi kept embarasing him like that!

They made their way back to the palace that night... 'Zhi Wei you're going to sleep in the palace tonight aren't you' Xiao yan zhi said nodded her head and pleading Zhi Wei too.

'but what about...' Zhi Wei began but was interuppted by Xiao yan zhi 'what about what?Er Kang? He can lose you for one day... lets stay over at Shu Fang Zhai like we used to' Xiao yanz hi sugggested.

'and leave me all alone' Yongqi gave Xiao yanzhi the hurt puppy look. 'yeah' Xiao yan zhi said and gavehim a peckon the cheek.

'That'll do' Yongqi said then looking at Zhi Wei and Er Kang who were laughing. ' We ARE here you know' ErKang said then hugging Zhi wei in his arms.

'We ARE here you know' Xiao yanzhi mimicked Er Kang. Zhi Wei blushed.

Chapter 31

'Aiya!, Yongqi I forgot my homework sheets at Hui Bing Lou, Huang ah ma is going to crack it tomorrow if I give him another excuse' Xiao yan zhi said worriedly.

'Xiao yan zhi why do you bring your homework everywhere with you!' Yongqi said sounding worried as her.

'Well, I want Xiao Jian to see my work but I must have forgot to show him and left it on the table' Xiao yan zhi said.

Xiao Teng had just got off the horse and was about to take the horses into the stable when he heard Xiao yan zhi calling him.

'Xiao Teng can you come with me and Yongqi back to Hui Bing Lou, thank you lets go' Xiao yan zhi said without letting him reply.

'Yongqi...' Xiao Teng was about to say when Yongqi interuppted 'don't ask... another one of Xiao yan zhi's forgetful moments' Yongqi teased.

They rode back to Hui Bing Lou.

Xiao yanz hi walked in and retrieved her homework. 'Where is everyone?' Xiao yan zhi said looking around the room.

'Oh! what are you doing back here? Xiao Jian has gone somewhere' Liu Qing Replied.

Xiao yan zhi, Yongqi, and Xiao Teng nodded and began to leave the room when a bunch of men came into the room demanding the best foods and wine.

Liu Hong brought them the food they ordered. 'YUCK! what is this food, are you sure you cook for humans' one of them said.

Another man drank from his cup and spat all of it out 'Cheap all this is cheap'. All the other men started to say bad things about the food and the service.

Xiao yanzhi watched this bunch of clowns fuming with anger. 'how dare they say that Hui Bing Lou's food is like that!' she thought to herself.

Xiao yan zhi took a step closer to these guys and was about to hit one of them but Liu Qing gave her the 'don't' wink.

Liu Hong served them with more food which they ate and spat out and said negative things about. It was quite obvious that this bunch of clowns were here for fun not for eating.

One of the men looked around the room and beautiful maiden caught this eye. 'Pretty lady! Come here' he called. Before Yongqi or Xiao Teng could stop her she walked over to the man.

'You called' Xiao yan zhi said as she was going to play a trick.

The man looked her up and down and grabbed at her hand. Xiao yan zhi was ready for that, she withdrew her hand and sent it flying across his face. A piercing slap sound could be heard clearly.

All the men at the table stood up and looked at Xiao yan zhi. 'How dare you hit me, now it's your turn to get hit' the man said taking out his knife.

He welded it at her but she dogded as many as she could. Soon the everyone in the room joined into the fighting. Xiao Teng stayed near Jin Suo as she and him could not fight.

'These are all highly skilled at Material arts' Yongqi thought as he fought.

A knife was heading towards Liu Hong's shoulder. Xiao Teng widened his eyes as he ran towards liu Hong. He stood in front of her and yelled as the knife went into his shoulder.

Guards surrounded the whole outside of Hui Bing Lou. Zhi Wei and Er Kang walked in telling the guards to arrest the men.

'Zhi Wei what are you doing here' Xiao yan zhi cried. 'Tell you later, now Yongqi, erKang pick up Xiao Teng and put him in the carrage' Zhi Wei said.

Everyone nodded.

Xiao Teng had never experienced this sort of pain before so he thought he was going to die soon. 'WAIT' Xiao Teng used some of his energy to yell. 'I have to say something' Xiao Teng announced through coughs, then he looked at Liu Hong.

Chapter 32

Everyone in the room consisting of Zhi Wei, Xiao yan zhi, Yongqi, Liu Qing and Jin Suo all turned their attention to Liu Hong and Xiao Teng
wondering what they were going to say.

'Xiao Teng, please don't say anything because you are injured and it was all my fault!' Liu Hong said tears forming again in her already watery eyes.

'Well I can't believe I'm going to die so soon, might as well get it over and done with' Xiao Teng thought to himself then quickly turning to Liu Hong

'Liu Hong..I like you no not like you, I um..admire you Look I'm not a person who can say sweet stuff but to top it off I have to say I've finally
found the love of my life....which is you Liu Hong' Xiao Teng said, his sentence fading off as he fainted on the floor.

'I like you too, please don't be soo.. cruel and leave me all alone after what you have just said and done for me all along' Liu Hong said as she
cried her heart out.

Xiao Teng moved alittle and opened his eyes. 'I'm not dead yet' Xiao Teng said using most of his energy to smile at her and fake a laugh.

Liu Hong knew that he tricked her. Xiao Yan zhi and Zhi Wei who was sitting beside Liu Hong smiled at Liu Hong. Yong Qi and Er Kang also smiled at Liu Hong.

'Xiao Teng you tricked me into saying.....(pause) all that stuff!' Liu Hong said giving him a slight punch on the shoulder but at the same time blushing
deep red.

Xiao Teng winced in pain as his wound produced more blood out. Yongqi and Er Kang both tried their best to help Xiao Teng wipe as much of the blood away
as possible.

Liu Hong seeing what she has done quickly ran over to Xiao Teng and put her hands on his wound to try and stop most of the blood from coming out.

'Sorry Xiao Teng, I didn't mean it I..was only...' Liu Hong said but stopped Xiao Teng smiled and called her name 'Liu Hong' after that Xiao Teng couldn't take the pain anymore and fainted on the ground.

Liu Hong stood knelt down holding Xiao Teng's hand of course in SHOCK!

'Is Is he dead!?' Liu Hong cried.

'Xiao Teng...Xiao Teng...He's dead!' Xiao yan zhi cried as Xiao Teng to her was like a second brother to her and now...Xiao yan zhi herself thought he was dead.

Xiao yan zhi and Liu Hong burst into uncontrollable tears. Liu Qing hugged Liu Hong and lent his shoulder for her to cry on. While Yongqi hugged his crying wife and at the same time telling her that Xiao Teng wasn't dead yet.

'Don't worry Xiao yan zhi, Zhi wei, and Liu Hong, We'll take Xiao Teng to the palace so the doctors who are well experienced can help save Xiao Teng ok?' Er Kang said as he remembered when Zhi Wei got stabbed and Zhi Wei didn't die.

Liu Hong stopped her crying and wiped away her tears with her sleeve. 'I want to come too' Liu Hong said, her voice crackly from all the crying.

Er Kang nodded indicating a 'yes'. Jin Suo also wanted to come but Er Kang said 'Jin Suo, you and Liu Qing cannot go because after all of us leave, we need someone to take care of Hui Bing Lou'.

Not anyone could believe what happened that night...

Chapter 33

Yongqi has summoned four tai yi's to heal Xiao Teng. The tai yi's all gathered around Xiao Teng's still and lifeless body. The taiyi's all muttered giving each other ideas on how it should be done and what should be done.

Hu Tai Yi pulled Er Kang out of the room and nodded his head sideways.

'Hu Tai Yi, what is the matter with Xiao Teng' Er Kang asked. 'We are going to have to pull the knife out of Xiao Teng's body or he'll die' Hu Tai Yi answered.

Er Kang knew there was a catch to this.

'What will happen if you pull the knife out of Xiao Teng?' Er Kang asked, lines appearing on his forehead. 'He might not be able to breathe and might not make it' Hu Tai Yi explained and again nodded his head sideways.

'But remember when Zhi Wei Ge Ge got stabbed, she was stabbed near the heart and still pulled through but Xiao Teng was stabbed in the shoulder area how can he not breathe and how can he have the chance to die?' Er Kang asked worried and confused.

He was mixed up.

'Answering to Fu Da Ye's question, looks can be decieving! actually Xiao Teng was stabbed not in the shoulder area but in to his left lung, so when the knife is removed he might not be able to breathe, resulting in death' Hu Tai Yi said lowering his head.

'So either way xiao Teng can die' Er Kang asked.

'Well, we should try to pull it out or if we don't he really will...' Hu Tai Yi started until Er Kang interuppted.

'No he won't, Xiao Teng won't die' ER Kang said then heading into the room in which Xiao Teng rested. Before entering the room he swiftly turned to Hu Tai Yi.

'Hu Tai Yi, you must save him, he is our good friend' Er Kang said then walking back into the room.

Er Kang simply did not want to see Zhi Wei , Xiao yan zhi or Liu Hong or the other depressed.

(In Xiao Teng's Room)

'Xiao Teng still has no sign of recovery or any sign of regaining consiousness yet?' Er Kang asked Yongqi who was slumped into his chair.

'No, he hasn't even moved or anything! The taiyis are saying that his pulse is getting weaker every minute' Yongqi replied then looking at Xiao yan zhi who was still crying with Liu Hong and Zhi Wei.

Er Kang pulled Xiao yan zhi, yongqi and Zhi Wei out of the room to talk to them about Xiao Teng's health state.

'Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei, Yongqi we need to discuss something very important, I delbratly left Liu Hong out so she would get depressed even more' Er Kang said noticing the pale color on everyones faces.

'Hu Tai Yi said that we need to pull the knife out of Xiao Teng's Body, BUT he might not be able to breathe and maybe will not make it' Er Kang Contuined.

'What!?!' Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei both said in unison.

Yongqi stood rooted to the ground. Everyone stared at Er Kang. Er Kang nodded 'Yes, It's true'.

Chapter 34

'Hu Tai Yi said that it looks as if it was stabbed into the shoulder area but in fact it was stabbed in to his left lung' Er Kang cleared everything up.

Xiao yan zhi widened her eyes and starred into mid air, mouth agap.

'It's all those men, it's all their fault! If Xiao Teng dies I'm going to poke one hundred no..one hundred THOUSAND holes into their bodies, especially the one that stabbed Xiao Teng argh!' Xiao yan zhi yelled pushing up her sleeves looking like she was ready to fight them all by herself.

Yongqi walked over to Xiao yan zhi and hugged her tightly.

'Calm yourself Xiao yan zhi, huang ah ma will deal with them, so don't have to get your hands dirty because it's not worth it for them' Yongqi said trying to calm down Xiao yan zhi.

Zhi Wei looked at Er Kang about to cry. Er Kang ran up to Zhi Wei and hugged her.

' Zhi Wei, if it makes you feel better just cry on my shoulder' Er Kang said his heart breaking into two just watching Zhi Wei cry like that.

'Xiao Teng's going to die, isn't he?' Zhi wei said over and over again as well as crying.

'No don't worry! We all know that Xiao Teng isn't going to die!' Er Kang answered.

'Xiao yan zhi, Zhi wei, Yongqi So do you all want to pull the knife out?' Er Kang asked.

The three looked around at each other. Zhi Wei stepped out.

'I think that if we don't pull out the knife Xiao Teng will die for sure but if we do pull out the knife Xiao Teng will have a chance for survival' Zhi Wei said.

Er Kang took hold of Zhi Wei's hands and looked deep into Zhi Wei's eyes then said 'Zhi Wei you are all ways so right'.

'xiao yan zhi and I agree, we will stick with pulling out the knife' Yongqi said.

'xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei, I think that you both should stay out because pulling out a knife is gruesome to watch' Er Kang said.

'No, We want to watch' Zhi Wei and Xiao yan zhi both said in unison.

Er Kang and Yongqi looked at each other frowning then nodded to Zhi wei and Xiao yan zhi.

They made their way back to the room.

(Inside Xiao Tengs Room)

Hu Tai Yi noticed that Er Kang nodded. Hu Tai Yi went to all the other Tai Yis and they all got out the nesscery equipment for pulling out a knife.

BUT there was not guarantee that Xiao Teng was going to live or die...

Chapter 35

'Xiao Teng, when the knife got pulled out of me.. It just felt like a prick that's all' Zhi Wei said trying to comfort XiaoTeng.

'xiao Teng, if you die I'm dying with you..so don't even think about dying' Xiao yan zhi said bringing a tiny smile onto Xiao Teng's face.

Liu Hong held his hand and said 'You can't just leave me Xiao Teng, you have to pull through this okay'.

Everyone encouraged me. 'If I die, I just want to say *cough* Thank you for everything you've all done for me, (turns to Liu Hong) I love you' Xiao Teng said this in between coughs, then Hu Tai Yi with out hesitation pulled out the knife.

Blood splashed everywhere. Xiao Teng gasped for air, he looked like he was going to die. Liu Hong cried and yelled as well as Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei. Zhi Wei fainted. Xiao yan zhi tended to Zhi Wei and Liu Hong. The three girls cried bitterly and after a while Xiao yan zhi and Liu Hong fainted as well.

This sent Yongqi, and Er Kang crazy. Yongqi carried Xiao yan zhi to Jing Yang Gong, and Er Kang carried Zhi Wei back to Shu Fang Zhai. Whilst Qing Er (who had just arrived to see this) helped Liu Hong to Ci Ning Gong.

(In Jing Yang Gong)

'Xiao yan zhi, are you alright?' Yongqi said shaking Xiao yan zhi's shoulders but no response.

Yongqi sat on the bed waiting for Xiao yan zhi to wake up.

About 5 minutes later Xiao yanzhi stirred and opened her eyes 'Yongqi?' Xiao yanzhi called. Yongqi ran up to Xiao yan zhi relieved that she had awaken.

'Is XiaoTeng alright?' Xiao yan zhi asked.

'Yes, luckily with all our yelling, crying and ..fainting.. Xiao Teng pulled through this life threatening stage' Yongqi said smiling.

Yongqi gave Xiao yan zhi a deep passionate Kiss in which Xiao yan zhi returned.

(In Shu Fang Zhai)

Zhi Wei flattered her eyes open. Upon remembering Xiao Teng's incident, she sat up in bed.

'Er Kang Er Kang?' Zhi Wei called softly but Er Kang wasn't there. 'Er Kang?' Zhi WEi called again but still not one sight of Er Kang.

Zhi Wei decided to step out of bed to go and find Xiao Teng herself. Once she stepped out of bed she felt weak and dizzy.

One hand holding her head and another hand holding the wall, she started to walk. But she slipped over a slipper...'ahhhh..' Zhi Wei cried nearly reaching the ground.

But Er Kang came in on time and caught Zhi Wei just before she landed on the ground. The bowl of medicine he was holding hit the ground and smashed into a thousand pieces at the door way.

'I'm sorry! I'll pick them up' Zhi wei said feeling guilty of spiling the bowl of medicine.

'No, Zhi Wei it's ok want to hear some good news?' Er Kang said letting Zhi Wei's head rest on his chest. 'hmm...' Zhi Wei replied.

'XiaoTeng has survived' Er Kang said happily. Zhi Wei widened her eyes and a big smile broke out on her beautiful face. 'I knew he would' Zhi Wei said as she hugged Er Kang.

(IIn Qing Er's Room)

Qinger walked up to Liu Hong's forehead to change the wet towel every five minutes.

Liu Hong kept calling XiaoTengs name out in her dream. Then Liu Hong woke up and sat up straight. 'Xiao Teng!' Liu Hong called loudly.

'Xiao Teng is alright' Qing Er said as she smiled. 'No..I have to see him.. what if he is..' Liu Hong said pleading Qing Er to let her see him but Qing Er nodded.

'I can use my head to guarantee that XiaoTeng is not dead or in any form of danger. I'm sure xiao Teng would want you to rest and look your best when you see him right?' Qing er said happy that Liu Hong has found her soul mate.

'Thank you Qing Er' Liu Hong said as she rested back onto the bed smiling to herself 'Xiao Teng I knew you would pull through'.

Chapter 36

Everyone walked around the garden just outside Xiao Teng's room.

All the couples walked hand in hand while they waited for Xiao yan zhi to return.

'what's taking her so long, do you think that something could have happened?' Yongqi asked arching his eyebrow and looking around.

Zhi Wei smiled on the side. 'Of course she is fine, This IS the palace' Zhi wei said patting Yongqi on the back.

Yongqi relaxed alittle and sighed.

'Aiya, can you stop being so mushy, your making me jealous now that I don't have a partner' Qing Er said jokingly.

Both couples giggled.

'I'm back, with some people' Xiao yan zhi cried running over to Zhi Wei.

Li Jing and Li Wan both walked slowly after Xiao Yan zhi. Li Jing was quiet whilest Li Wan was very content.

Yongqi smiled as he watched xiao yan zhi return with out harm done to her or harm done to anyone else, but his smile faded when he saw Li Wan.

Instantly reminding him of what he had to say to her.

Li Wan Ran up to Yongqi 'Yongqi, I have so many things to tell you' Li wan said giving him some of her award winning smiles.

It gave no affect on Yongqi, but just for friends sake Yongqi faked at smile.

Li Jing pulled xiao yan zhi aside trying his best to not let Yongqi see so Yonqi wouldn't misunderstand.

'Xiao yan zhi, what are you planning to do?' Li Jing asked.

'Planning to do what?' Xiaoyanzhi asked again.

'Planning to tell Li Wan about you and wu ah ge's marrage' Li Jing said recalling his first moment of truth.

'I don't know' Xiao yan zhi said as she shrugged.

'Don't worry Yongqi will say it, he has to or else' Xiao yan zhi said as she put up her fist in the air jokingly.

Li Jing smiled and nodded his head from side to side. This had been the first smile since he found out about Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi's marrage.

Xiao yan zhi walked over to joing the others while Li Jing followed Xiao yan zhi as well.

'Aiya this can't be!' Xiao yan zhi cried stopping her walking.

'This can't be...what?' Zhi Wei asked confused with with the sudden change in expression.

'See we're all couples, but Li Jing, Li Wan, and Qing Er are single' Xiao yan zhi said getting another idea.

Xiao yan zhi looked up at the sky and scratched her chin.

'Qing Er you needn't worry, your already going to be my sister in law because I think Xiao Jianlikes you and you also...*giggles*' Xiao yan zhi said.

Then she turned to Li Jing and Li Wan quickly. 'You two, are a match made in heaven' Xiao yan zhi said watching them both blush. ' A blush!' Xiao yan zhi cried again.

Liu Hong seeing that poor Li Jing and Li Wan were embarassed by Xiao yan zhi walked up to Xiao yan zhi 'Xiao yan zhi, please have mercy' Liu Hong said jokinly.

Everybody laughed including Xiao yan zhi herself.

'Huh? just because Xiao Teng is here doesn't mean I can't tickle you' Xiao yan zhi yelled then tickled LiuHong who ducked as fast as she could.

After all the tickling was done,Zhi Wei walked up to Xiao Teng.

'Xiao Teng, what is your past like?' Zhi Wei asked.

Chapter 37

'I'm not sure about my past' Xiao Teng said looking uncomfortable.

'But I thought you said that you lived in that village for quite some time, since you were born wasn't it? Xiao yan zhi said.

'I was told that but my foster father who died long ago told me that I wasn't born there...I don't know' Xiao Teng said.

'Tell us what you remember' Yongqi said then continued 'maybe we can help you find out your past'.

Xiao Teng nodded.

'Well, my father and I has lived there ever since I was born not that I remember much of my childhood years' Xiao Teng said at the same time looking around the room.

'Where is your mother?' Xiao yan zhi said feeling really sad because she was similar when she was young, but she was a little luckier than him becuase she has a brother.

'It was about when I was around 10 years old, I heard my foster father and foster mother yelling over something that I didn't understand, my foster mother threw a knife at my father swearing never to return again but luckily the knife missed him and planted itself in the wall, so to me she had run away from home' Xiao Teng answered.

'Do you remember anything from you childhood years...just anything?' Zhi Wei asked.

'The only time I remember of Childhood was that I was in a beautiful room, there was food, money and everything in there... but it's probably just a imaginary world' Xiao Teng said as he chuckled.

*****Flash Back************around 5 yrs old*************
'This is your room Xiao Teng' a voice said.
'Wow, my new room, now I'm old enough to sleep in MY own room by myself' Xiao Teng cried smiling.

He looked at the table. Money, bank notes, and lots of interesting food was neatly placed on the table.

Xiao Teng widened his eyes and stared in amazment. 'And this is all mine to....KEEP?' Little Xiao Teng asked.

'Yep, this is all yours, as long as you are happy and content, anything you want is yours to keep..just ask me' a man in his forties stared at him. His face full of laughter, love and forgivness.

Little Xiao Teng returned at big big smile.

'Maybe you could havelost your memory or something, do you remember having a huge headach or something' Xiao yan zhi asked.

'couldn't have, becuase I have my natural parents since I was born and where I lived was nothing like what my dream was' Xiao Teng said.

'oh! Then where is your mother?' Xiao yan zhi asked.

'She lives just in the village up near north' Xiao Teng said as he pointed at the mountainous area north of where the palace was.

'Do you guys have the same idea as I have?' Xiao yan zhi said as she gave everyone a sly smile.

Zhi Wei nudged Er Kang, then Er Kang nudged Liu Hong then finally Liu Hong nudged Yongqi in the ribs and nodded.

Yongqi noticed what they were trying to get him to do. 'Do I have to, you all tell her' Yongqi whispeered to everyone not letting a word seep out to Xiao yan zhi who stood there looking confused.

'She is your wife, you take care of it' Er Kang whispered back.

Yongqi walked forward and gave Xiaoyan zhi one of his fake smiles.

'What?' Xiao yan zhi said.

'nah..that idea isn't at all good' Yongqi finally said.

'But you haven't even heard my idea yet' Xiaoyan zhi pouted.

'With the sly smile, we know it's bad' Liu Hong said jokinly.

Everyone nodded and laughed.

Chapter 38

'well, why don't we all pay this Xiao Teng's mother a visit?' Xiao yan zhi cried happily as finally she had somewhere to go besides sit in the palace all day.

'It's too far...I doubt it huang ah ma would even let us go' Yongqi said.

'Yongqi is right xiao yan zhi' Er Kang informed backing up Yongqi before Xiao yan zhi has a chance to snap back at him.

Xiao yan zhi lowered her head 'Alright alright stop scolding me for just a suggestion'.

'We are not scolding you, just informing you, Xiao yan zhi' Zhi Wei said.

Still Xiao yanzhi was alittle angry.

'Don't be angry Xiao yan zhi, look I'll scold them for scolding you ok,.....bad Yongqi, Bad Er Kang' Zhi Wei said in between laughes.

Xiao yan zhi lightened up and smiled 'Zhi Wei you are the best sister in the world'.

Yongqi and Er Kang just smiled.

*Xiao yan zhi's thought* I don't want to stay in the palace all day long and do nothing at all. I want to go meet Xiao Teng's mother. Go up north, away from all the boring stuff. (Xiao yan zhi frowns) I know Huang ah ma very well..and he won't let me go for sure.what do I do? (then smiling) I know! I'll just go beg Huang ah ma tomorrow...huang ah ma just has to let me go or I'll die of boredom

Meanwhile Zhi Wei, Er Kang, and Yongqi were watching Xiao yan zhi who was staring out of the window smiling.

'Yongqi, I don't get this wife of yours...she stares outside frowning one moment then smiling the next?' Er Kang said scratching his head.

'I don't see anything out there to smile and frown about!' Zhi Wei also added after she looked out of the window.

'I don't know anything' Yongqi said as he shrugged his shoulders.

The three of them started to laugh at Xiao yan zhi. While Liu Hong and Xiao Teng stared outside the window trying to find what Xiao yan zhi was looking at.

Zhi Wei walked up and tapped xiao yan zhi on the shoulder.

Xiao yan zhi instantly snapped out of her thought and turned her attention to Zhi Wei.

'c'mon tell me what were you thinking?' Zhi Wei asked looking at Xiao yan zhi suspiciously

'Nah..nothing I wasn't thinking about a single thing' Xiao yan zhi lied knowing that if any of them found out about her plan, they would difinatly object. But after Huang ah ma agrees they would have to come.

Xiao yan zhi giggled to herself.

The others just nodded their heads but they knew Xiao yan zhi was up to something...it was pretty obvious!

Chapter 39

Liu Hong and Xiao Teng said a goodbye, Liu Hong went back to Hui Bing Lou. Zhi We and Er Kang went back to the Fu Minor. While Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi went back to Jing Yang Gong.

**************(In Jing Yang Gong)*****************

Xiao yan zhi acted as if nothing had happened. She sat at her dressing table taking out the clips and headgear which were neatly placed into her hair.

Xiao yan zhi stared into the mirror smiling to herself.

Yongqi however had already finished changing his clothes. He stood behind the unusual slow and quiet Xiao yan zhi.

'Is there something wrong, Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked just knowing that there was something wrong with Xiaoyan zhi.

'Whatever made you think that?' Xiao yan zhi asked trying not to blow out the big secret.

'It's just that your...so..quiet' Yongqi said, a smile forming on his handsome face.

'Xiao yan zhi looked at him with a slightly annoyed face.

'Usually you are so talkative, your always talking or jibbering about something but today your...somewhat not talking which makes it very unusual' Yongqi teased.

'Are you saying that I talk too much, and that I'm annoying?' Xiao yan zhi asked pitching her voice as she went along.

Yongqi stratched his chin, then pretending to think about that answer.

Xiao yan zhi did a 'hmmmmph' and turned to face the mirror, angry of what Yongqi had just said.

Yongqi has this sixth sense that told him that Xiao yan zhi and him were going to to start a fight soon if he didn't change the topic soon.

Yongqi smiled and rested his hands on Xiao yanzhi's shoulders.

'Alright, Alright you don't talk too much! You are the most prettiest, most wonderful and the smartest wife in the whole wide world' Yongqi said hugging Xiao yan zhi.

Yongqi planted a soft kiss on Xiao yan zhi's forehead.

Xiao yan zhi laid on his chest, then she looked up at Yongqi.

'You are the best husband as well' Xiao yan zhi said happily before giving Yongqi a kiss on the lips.

They both forgot about their tiny little argument they had earlier.

Xiao yan zhi and Yongqi got into bed and slowly both of them feel asleep quickly.

***************(That night around 2:00am)*************

Xiao yan zhi stirred around in bed. She slept on the side but that didn't seem the least comfortable. Xiao yan zhi turned to sleep on the other side but that wasn't good either.

Xiao yan zhi forced her eyes closed but she just couldn't sleep.

She awoke and sat up in bed. The whole room was dark and everything was silent in their room except for Yongqi.

'Sleeptalking' Xiao yan zhi whispered to herself laughing.

'I can't sleep! *looking around the room* It's so boring...I might as well hear what Yongqi is saying in his dream. I wonder if I'm in Yongqi's dreams' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself.

She smiled and looked at Yongqi.

Yongqi looked as if he was having a bad dream.
'LI WAN!' Yongqi called from his dream.

Chapter 40

'Am I hearing things or did MY yongqi just call out Li Wan in his dream???' Xiao yan zhi thought angrily to herself.

'I'll give you another chance Yongqi, maybe I heard wrong' Xiao yan zhi said atempting another smile.

**************(Yongqi's dream)**********************

'Look Li Wan, your a nice girl and all that...but all I love is Xiao yan zhi in my heart, she is the one and only' Yongqi called.

Li Wan shook her head in disbelief.

The scene around them changed into a scene at the edge of the clif.

Li Wan walked up to the clif...standing just at the edge of the unsafe rocky edge.

'Yongqi, don't joke around with me' Li Wan said tears filling up her eyes.

'I'm sorry Li Wan but I'm not joking' Yongqi said.

'But you treated me so nice...your lying..just say that you love me' Li Wan yelled to him.

'*calls out Li Wans name outside sleep* Li Wan..don't' Yongqi yelled.

'I love you Yongqi' Li Wan yelled across as thunder stuck.

'*calls Li Wan's name out again* Li Wan I love you but only as a good friend' Yongqi replied.

'A friend?' Li Wan said sadly.

'Bye Yongqi' Li Wan said as she jumped off the cliff. Yongqi flew over to her to save her but he was too late... '*calls out name* LI WAN!' Yongqi yells.

***************(End of Yongqi's dream)*******************

'LI WAN!' Yongqi called as he fell off the bed.

Yongqi opened his eyes not seeing the tragic scene in his dream but the angry face of Xiaoyan zhi.

'Xiao yan zhi? Your still awake at this hour?' Yongqi said getting up from the floor then settling back into bed.

Xiao yan zhi didn't answer.

Yongqi put his arms around Xiao yan zhi's shoulders but she pushed Yongqi away from her.

'What's wrong? Xiao yan zhi Somebody make you angry again?' Yongqi comforted.

'Who else but you!' Xiao yan zhi yelled.

'Now what did I do to make you angry dear wife?' Yongqi said teasingly.

'I couldn't sleep today so I woke up. But i woke up to hearing you call out Li Wan's name' Xiao yan zhi said getting angrier.

'you've misunderstood my dream' Yongqi said.

'I would misunderstand your dreams...probably dreaming of running off with her and being her husband' Xiao yan zhi yelled.

'After all this time we've been together, you still don't trust me' Yongqi yelled back at her getting annoyed.

'You yell at me when you are wrong?' Xiao yan zhi ylled back.

'I've done nothing wrong' Yongqi yelled again.

'Dreaming of LiWan is wrong...If you like her just go ahead and be her husband' Xiao yan zhi yelled.

'Xiao yan zhi, you haven't matured abit. you are still as childish as before' Yongqi yelled.

'I have so matured, it is you that has not matured!..I don't want to talk to an unfaithful husband like you' Xiao yan zhi yelled not thinking abt what she just said.

Yongqi sat down on the bed burying his head in his hands.

Xiao yan zhi walked out of the room and headed for Shu Fang Zhai.

Chapter 41

'Ge Ge, what are you doing here so late?' Ming Yue asked as she didn't see Xiao yan zhi here at night.

'Get a bed ready for me...I want to sleep here tonight' Xiao yan zhi trying to hold back her anger, tears so no one would suspect a thing.

'Where is Wu Ah Ge, isn't he supposed to be with you' Ming Yue said looking around at the empty space behind Xiao yan zhi.

'Xiao deng Zhi make sure you don't let Wu Ah Ge into Shu Fang Zhai, no matter what..I don't ever want to speak to him again' Xiao yan zhi said coldly.

'Ge Ge, you should go in to have a rest now. The rooms in Shu Fang Zhai are always cleaned and made nice even if Huan zhu Ge Ge Zhi Wei Ge Ge are not here' Cai Xia said helping Xiao yan zhi in.

Xiao yan zhi couldn't sleep now that Yongqi had made her so angry. She slumped into a chair and put on an angry face.

'I'll never Speak to you again Yongqi' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself.

Ming Yue offered Xiao yan zhi some hot tea while Cai Xia brought in some cushions to make the seat more comfortable for Xiao yan zhi to sit on.

'Ge Ge did you and Wu ah Ge have another quarral again?' Cai Xia asked hoping they didn't but as usual all the servents at Shu Fang Zhai knew that there was.

'Hmpf! It's all Yongqi's fault' Xiao yan zhi said coldly. Ming Ye and Cai Xia looked at one another worried.

'Ge Ge let's not talk about it now, it's too late now! Ge Ge you should rest now!' Cai Xia said not wanting to make Xiao yan zhi any furious than what she is now.

Xiao yan zhi gave a slight nodd and walked into her room where she layed thinking about her argument with Yongqi earlier.

'Yongqi how could you?' Xiao yan zhi yelled at Yongqi who just stood there and smiled.

'Why aren't you answering me?' Xiao yan zhi called again.

Suddenly thunder struck, two shadows were seen through the mist.

'Who is it?' Xiao yan zhi yelled.

'Don't you remember me, Xiao yan zhi?' Li Wan said giving a cheeky smile.

Xiao yan zhi looked at Li Wan link arms with Yongqi.

'Ge GE are you alright?' Li Wan asked acting innocent...

'Ge Ge are you alright?' Ming Yue asked 'Ge Ge?'.

Xiao yan zhi bolted upright in bed, beads of sweat running down her cheeks.

She looked around the room and answered wearily 'Yep I'm fine' She drooped back in bed and closed her eyes. She tried to wash her mind off Yongqi's dream.....

Xiao yan zhi got up late. She hadn't slept all night, thinking about Yongqi's Li Wan dream really made the night unsleepable.

Xiao yan zhi walked drowsely up to the table and slumped herself into a chair. Xiao yan zhi was so tired.

Ming Yue brought some breakfast but Xiaoyan zhi had not touched them as she did not have the apetite to eat.

Xiao yan zhi was angry, sleepy, dizzy all at the same time.

'Maybe I should forgive Yongqi I mean, it's just a dream..what can a dream of LI WAN mean anything right?' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself.

Ming Yue and Cai Xia looked worriedly at Huan zhu Ge Ge watching her slowly dip her spoon into the porridge and then let it all tip back into the bowl with had hardly been touched.

'Come on Forgive Yongqi, he's so caring about you why do you keep accusing him of things he didn't do, remember the last time?' one side of Xiao yan zhi's brain say.

'Oh come on, Yongqi YOUR husband dreaming of another girl! Then he has the nerve to yell at you! He should be the one apologising to you now the other way around...think of it?' the other side of her brain said.

Xiao yan zhi really agreed to both sides of her thoughts. 'Well, I guess I was wrong to think of Yongqi that way' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself as she smiled a little.

Seeing Xiaoyan zhi smile Ming Yue and Cai Xia lit up as well.

Xiao yan zhi finished her breakfast in no time and headed over to Jing Yang Gong, to forgive Yongqi about her misunderstanding yesterday night.

As she was entering Jing Yang Gong, she could hear voices talking. A female voice and a male voice.

The male voice sound familiar, it sounded like Yongqi's voice. But the female she couldn't make out who it was so she decided to have a 'little' listen to their conversation.

'Li Wan your a brilliant person and all but I only...' Yongqi said as the rest of his sentence was drowned out by Li Wan's sudden squeal 'really, you think I'm brilliant?'.

'No I was saying...' Yongqi said stopping before he finished his sentence, as Li Wan threw her arms around him.

Behind the doors of Jing Yang Gong, Xiao yan zhi stood peeping through the slightly opened door. By then, she wasn't the happiest person on earth, she was fuming with anger now.

Li Wan pressed her lips onto Yongqi's lips. While Yongqi hesitantly tried to pull her away from him

Xiao yan zhi was so angry. 'Yongqi! You tricked me all along' she thought angrily to herself as she picked herself up and ran away...crying.

Yongqi finally pushed Li Wan away. YongQi looked around the room noticing the door slighty pushed open.

He ran outside and asked who had come. 'Wu Ah Ge, Huan zhu ge ge was just here, but for some reason she ran away crying' one of the guards at Jing Yang Gong said.

Yongqi went pale white. 'Did Xiao yan zhi see the kiss, oh heck! I didn't kiss Li Wan!' Yongqi Thought to himself.

Li Wan smiled at Yongqi Just as she walked away. 'I wonder if Father will let me marry Yongqi?' Li Wan thought to herself as she went to meet her father.

Chatper 42

'I've heard, I also found out that he is Fu Er Kang am I right?' Li Wan's father said wanting the best for his most beloved daughter.

'It's..It's not Er Kang...someone else' Li Wan complained then again her cheeks turned red.

'Who is this man? Making my dear Li Wan fall so deeply in love with him?' Li Wan's father teased.

'Father, must you always tease me...it's soo embarasing' Li Wan softly whispered.

'Aright who is this lucky man?' Li Wan's father said wanting to hear who his son in law is going to be.

'it's Wu Ah Ge' Li Wan said bashfully.

'an Ah Ge?' Li Wan's father said happily...Li Wan nodded her head.

'I'll speak to Huang Shang immediatly about this, see if we can arrang for you to get married here..the sooner the better' Li Wan's father said getting up almost immedietly.

'Do you really want me married off so quickly?' Li Wan complained but at the same time teasing her father.

'Let's go see Huang Shang now?' Li Wan's father said.

They both went to Huang Shang's study room to talk about the marrage.

Meanwhile, Xioa yan zhi was lingering around the garden. She was still crying, her eyes were red from crying. She was wondering whether she should tell huang ah ma or just go to Zhi Wei.

She decided to ask Huang Ah Ma if she could go out of the Palace and see Zhi Wei. Xiao yan zhi walked up to Huang Ah Ma's study room. She overheard their conversation.

(In side Huang Shang's study room)

'Huang Shang, I would like to discuss with you a marraige with one of your sons for my dear daughter Li Wan here' Li Wan's father said.

Huang Shang looked up at Li Wan and smiled 'Which of my sons were you looking forward to marrying your daughter Li Wan to?' Huang Shang said thinking which of his sons were lucky enough to be chosen by Li Wan.

'erm...who was it again?' Li Wan's father said not remembering which a Ge.

'Wu ah ge' Li Wan whispered into her fathers ear.

'Wu Ah Ge' Li Wan's father said happily, not seeing the change in the emperor's face.

Huang Shang was alittle taken back by this sudded arrangment.

'Has Yongqi agreed yet?' Huang Shang asked.

'You mean Yongqi, Wu ah Ge?' Huang Shang said. 'Yes, my Li Wan here has fallen for Wu Ah Ge here' Li Wan's father said. Huang Shang looked at Li Wan. Li Wan bashfully nodded.

Marraige, ... Li Wan, ...Wu ah Ge, Yongqi,...yes..Yongqi agreed...
Was all Xiao yan zhi could make out from the conversation.

From that bit of infomation...Xiao yan zhi had determined that Huang ah ma and Li Wan's father were discussing to wed Li Wan to Wu ah ge.

'Huang ah ma wouldn't do such a thing will he?' Xiao yanzhi thought to herself.

'But then he did want to wed Er Kang to Saiya because of Business' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself....

Chapter 43

No matter how hard Cai Xia and Ming Yue tried to persuade her to eat, Xiao yan zhi wouldn't move from her spot.

'Ming Yue, quickly go get Wu Ah Ge here' Cai Xia said ushering Ming Yue to go. Wu ah Ge was the only medicine to heal Xiao yan zhi's heart problems.

Xiao yan zhi heard what Cai Xia said. 'Don't go Ming Yue!' Xiao yan zhi yelled as loud as she could.

Xiao yan zhi buried herself in her blankets again.

'Zhi Wei Ge Ge dao' an enuach announced clearly as Zhi Wei walked in shocked to find Ming Yue and Cai Xia crowded around the door.

'Ming Yue, can someone tell me what's wrong?' Zhi Wei asked her voice sounded angelic.

'Hui Ge Ge, Huan zhu ge ge locked herself in her room and hasn't come out or anything...she also hasn't eaten for half the day beside breakfast this morning' Ming Yue informed.

Knock Knock

'Go Away!' Xiao yan zhi yelled from inside her blankets. Then came the knock on the door again

'Go Away, I'm not hungry' Xiao yan zhi yelled across the room again.

'I'm Zhi Wei, don't tell me you won't let me in to my own room?' Zhi Wei said jokingly.

The door slowly opened. Zhi Wei slipped inside while the door slamed shut.

Zhi Wei looked at Xiaoyan zhi. She wasn't her usual self. Her big round eyes were red. 'Zhi Wei!' Xiao yan zhi cried as she hugged Zhi Wei.

'What's the matter? Who made you cry this time?' Zhi Wei asked concerndly.

'Who else but the mean Yongqi!' Xiao yan zhi said coldly.

'What did Yongqi do now?' Zhi Wei asked.

'Last night Yongqi had a dream about Li Wan, this morning I went to forgive him and I saw Li wan and Yongqi kissing, then I heard Huang Ah Ma and Li wan's father discussing to marry Li Wan to Yongqi and most worst Yongqi aggreed to it' Xiao yan zhi said as she poured her heart out.

'I'm sure you've mistaken Wu Ah Ge' Zhi Wei said. 'You always say that just because he is your brother...do ever take our sisterhood into concideration?' Xiao yan zhi said getting angrier.

'Of course I do, it's just that Yongqi Loves you with all his heart why would he do such a thing?' Zhi Wei asked sighing.

'Yes he would!' Xiao yan zhi snapped back.

'I pity Yongqi, I mean remember the last time you accused him of huggin Li Wan?' ZHi Wei said.

Xiao yan zhi rolled her eyes. 'Yea well, that I didn't see properly but this time I really saw them K-I-S-S-I-N-G!' Xiao yan zhi snapped.

Tears formed in already watery eyes.

Chapter 44

'Then what about the engagment huh?' Xiao yan zhi said.

'THen why don't WE go and ask Huang Ah Ma about it okay?' Zhi Wei said knowing that this would be the best solution to solve everything.

Just as Xiao yan zhi was about to walk out the door everything looked dizzy, she put her hand on her forehead and everything turned black for her.

Xiao yan zhi opened her big eyes.

'Where am I?' Xiao yan zhi said weakly. She got up and looked around the room.

'What am I doing here?' Xiao yan zhi whispered her self.

'Aiya, Da Za Yuan people, Liu Qing and Liu Hong are all waiting for me to find somoe food' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed quietly to herself.

She got out of bed and fell to the ground. She was wearing a manchurain costume. 'I wonder where I got this from?' Xiaoyan zhi said slowly taking it off and looking for her Lao Bai xing clothes.

She placed the neatly folded manchurian dress on the bed and slipped on her own clothing and walked up to the window.

Just before jumping out of the window she gathered up some jewels and gold. She peer through the window and jumped out of it seeing that there were no people now.

She used most of her energy to jump over the palace walls. Then she was free...actually to Xiao yan zhi she was already free.....

Yongqi was explaining the Li Wan and him kissing scene...and how she kissed him not vice versa. and that he never agreed to anything about the marraige.

'Xiao yan zhi! time to eat your medicine' Zhi Wei called as she entered the room. Seeing her manchurian dress neatly placed on her bed and the cupboards open.

Zhi Wei dropped the bowl which fell on the ground and smashed into a thousand litlle pieces. Yongqi and Er Kang heard it and rushed into the room.

Zhi Wei was standing near the opened cupboards.

'Where's Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi said.

'I..i Don't know..when I came in here Xiao yan zhi was already gone!' Zhi Wei said in shock.

'It's all my fault...I should have explained to her earlier' Yongqi said lowering his head.

'Don't worry It's not your fault' Er Kang said patting Yongqi on the shoulder.

'it's not okay, she's gone...she left me again' Yongqi said .

Zhi Wei sat on the bed and stared mindlessly into mid air.

'We'll go out and look for Xiao yan zhi' ErKang suggested seeing both brighten up alittle.

'First Zhi Wei will go see Huang ah Ma' Er Kang said.

Zhi Wei nodded and walked off whilist Yongqi and Er Kang went to call a carrage.

'Huang ah Ma jixiang' Zhi Wei said as Huang Ah ma noticed her unhappy look.

'Why so unhappy?' Huang ah ma asked Zhi Wei. 'Did you intend to marry Li Wan to Yongqi?' Zhi Wei asked.

'No, I just need some time to think about what I'm going to tell them' Huang Ah Ma said as he sighed.

ZHi Wei smiled alittle because she knew Huang ah ma was not that kind of person to break up peoples marraiges.

'Huang ah Ma, Xiao yan zhi has dissappeared' Zhi Wei tried to make it sound simple.

'What do you mean 'disappeared'? Huang ah ma asked loudy his eye brows closing in together.

Zhi Wei told him the whole story.

Huang ah Ma slumped into his chair. ' Zhi Wei, tell Yongqi and Er KAng to find her back'.

Zhi Wei curtsied happily and ran back out to meet ErKang and Yongqi.

They aboarded the carraige and went to look for Xiao yan zhi.

[Just in case it wasn't clear enough, Xiao yan zhi had lost her memory, and only remembers the old Xiao yan zhi. That means she doesn't know Zhi Wei, Yongqi or anyone yet...she just knows that she helps people, she lives at Da Za Yuan, her best friends are Liu Qing and Liu Hong' ]

Chapter 45

Yongqi, Er Kang, and Zhi Wei returned home depressed.

Yongqi returned to Jing Yang Gong and slumped into a chair burying his head in his hands.

'I know I'm wrong Xiao yan zhi! Please forgive me and come back, I can't bear to live without you!' Yongqi yelled eyes filling with tears.

There was a knock on the door.

Yongqi hesitantly got up and opened the door slightly hoping like hell it would be Xiao yan zhi.

'Hu Tai Yi, what is the matter?' Yongqi asked.

'It's about Ge Ge' Hu Tai Yi exclaimed.

Yongqi immedietly brightened up. He ushered Hu Tai Yi to come in and tell him. 'Something about Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked.

'When I found out the Ge Ge had gone, I knew I must be correct' Hu Tai Yi said noticing Yongqi's expression

'What?' Yongqi almost yelled.

'GeGe is suffering from a temporary moemory loss, the reason why she left was because she only remembers the 'outside' Xiao yan zhi' Hu Tai Yi explained on and on.

''You mean she won't remember me, zhi Wei or Er Kang let alone Huang ah ma?' Yongqi said his heart felt like it had been hit.

Hu Tai Yi nodded.

'But why?' Yongqi said again not wanting this to be true.

'She is somewhat over depressed, she has been hurt badly' Hu Tai Yi said.

Yongqi felt like dying! 'Her being like this is actually all my fault' Yongqi thought to himself feeling even worse.

Hu Tai Yi excused himself and exited leaving Yongqi shocked.

Xiao yan zhi skipped over to Da Zhua Yuan.

'Hello everyone I'm back' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed excitedly.

All the little children raced up to Xiao yan zhi. Crowding around her waist.

'Look what I brought home, now we don't have to be hungry'Xiao yan zhi exclaimed.

The little children seemed confused. They thought she was a GeGe, GeGe's are already rich! They looked at one another but shrugged.

Xiao yan zhi was about to leave when she bumped into someone.

'Hey! Watch where you are going!' Xiao yan zhi yelled as she landed on her bottom.

'Xiao yan zhi? what are you doing here?' Liu Qing asked happy to see her but confused why she is here.

'What do you mean why am I here? I live here!' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed.

'You live at the palace!' Liu Qing exclaimed.

'If I lived at the palace, I would be rich now...' Xiao yan zhi teased then she thought again 'I would love to be a GeGe ' Xiao yan zhi said as she imagined herself as one.

'Liu Qing, help me unload these cartoons of food!' Jin Suo called.

Jin Suo walked over to Liu Qing wondering who he was talking to.

'Xiao yan zhi, what are you doing here? Where is Zhi Wei?' Jin Suo asked giving her a hug.

Xiao yan zhi just stood there. 'Who is Zhi Wei? and who are you?' Xiao yan zhi asked.

Liu Qing and Jin Suo looked at each other.

'I know now! Liu Qing you never told me you had a girlfriend' Xiao yan zhi said as she smiled.

She walked over to Jin Suo and whispered into her ear 'Liu Qing is a great guy, I'm sure once you are married to him you will be happy'.

Liu Qing and Jinsuo were very confused.

Chapter 46

Jin Suo turned slowly towards Xiao yan zhi who tilted her head to a side.

Jin Suo nudged Liu Qing.

'ah xiao yan zhi we ARE married' Jin Suo said getting alittle red but still she had confusion on her face.

'huh?' xiao yan zhi said.

'Never mind that for now, don't you remember anything?' Liu qing asked.

Xiao yan zhi tilted her head again.
'What do you mean don't remembeer anything, why are so strange today?'

'Do you remember Zhi Wei, Yongqi, Er Kang?' Liu Qing asked.

'Why should I remember them?, I don't even know who they are' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed at Liu Qing.

'Liu Qing, why is Xiao yan zhi...?' Jin suo asked her husband worriedly.

Liu Qing's worried frown broke into a cheeky smile. 'God Xiao yan zhi you nearly had me fooled for a minute there, I thought you had lost your memory there' Liu Qing said smiling.

Jin Suo relaxed alittle.

'huh? Me lose my memory, nope and I wasn't fooling around' Xiao yan zhi said seriously.

'Anyway, Look at what I stole...not nessercerily stole just borrowed' Xiao yanzhi said cheekily.

Xiao yanzhi opened the bag full of gold, money and precious statues.

Jin Suo picked up a beautifully carved piece of jade. On it was writting ' to Dearest Yongqi, with love Xiao yan zhi'.

'Xiao yan zhi, isn't this the jade you gave Yongqi?' Jin suo asked giving Xiao yan zhi a closer look at it.

Xiao yan zhi squinted her eyes then tilted her head, after a while she finally said 'nope, can someone tell me who is this Yongqi?'

(Meanwhile in the Palace)

'Are you sure?' Zhi Wei cried knowing that her sister will not remember her.

'I'm very sure, Hu Tai Yi told me' Yongqi said worriedly.

'Then we must search for a person who doesn't even know us' er Kang said his heart tearing to bits when seeing Zhi Wei so depressed.

'But what caused her lose her memory?' Zhi Wei said wearily.

Yongqi felt very guilty 'It's all my fault, we had a sllight argument, then she..she...' Yongqi said sound very unhappy

Er Kang put his hand on Yongqi's shoulder.

'First she runs away, next she gets kidnapped, now she loses her memory, I wonder what next? Er Kang teased.

'Thankz I felt much better!' Yongqi said sacastically.

'But where would Xiao yan zhi go?' Yongqi asked deep in thought.

Chapter 47

'What about Da Zhua Yuan?' Zhi Wei said then looking at ER Kang.

'That's two possibitlies, but it's getting late already, we must turn in and wake up freshly tomorrow to search for Xiao yan zhi okay?' Er Kang suggested quickly before Yongqi was about rush out of the door.

Yongqi calmed alittle.

'Even though you look for her now, she'll not remember you' Er Kang spoke clearly.

Yongqi slumped back into the chair wondering what Xiao yan zhi was doing now and where she was.

Zhi Wei's heart pained to see her best brother so depressed and so heartbroken.

Zhi Wei eyed Er Kang and her to walk out of the room to leave Yongqi in some silence.

They both walked out silently.

( The next morning)

Jin Suo and Liu Qing had stayed at Da Zhua Yuan for the night.

Xiao yan zhi walked out of her room, she did a big stretch and looked around at the beautiful weather.

The day was sunny and bright. The sun was heating up making the morning not at all that cold.

Xiao yan zhi spotted Liu Qing and Jin Suo at the gate. She walked over to them.

'Xiao yan zhi, good morning' Jin Suo chorused.

'Good Morning, Jin suo and Liu Qing' Xiao yan zhi said as she took at deep breath of the fresh air.

'We're going back to Hui Bing Lou' Liu Qing said.

'Hui Bing lou? what's that? Xiao yan zhi asked.

'It's our restaurant, and home' Liu Qing said watching Jin Suo nod.

'You have a restaurant already, I missed out of 1 day and so much has happened' Xiao yan zhi cried.

Liu Qing and Jin Suo looked at each other, then shook their heads they didn't know whether Xiao yan zhi was acting or something was really wrong with her.

'So where are you going Xiao yan zhi?' Jin Suo asked

'Start work again, you know the steal from the rich and give to the poor thing' Xiao yan zhi whispered to Liu Qing.

'Alright I'm off, see ya' Xiao yan zhi called loudly as she paced away.

'Wait Xiaoyan zhi, you can't ' Liu Qing yelled but xiao yan zhi was already gone.

'We have to tell Xiao Jie, Er Kang Shao Ye and Wu ah ge about that' Jin Suo said quickly as they both boarded the carrage.

Chapter 48

'Yongqi, Er Kang and Zhi Wei what are all of you doing here?' Liu Qing asked.

Jin Suo ran up to Zhi Wei and gave her a great big hug.

'Has Xiao yan zhi been here?' Yongqi said quickly

'Yes, well no not here' Liu Qing stuttered.

Yongqi stood up abruptly and practically ran over to Liu Qing 'where is she?' Yongqi asked.

'She was at Da Zhua Yuan' Jin Suo added.

'okay' Yongqi said as he ran out towards the door.

'She WAS at Da Zhua Yuan' Liu qing corrected leaving Yongqi frozen in his steps.

'Then she said she had to go to work again' Jin Suo addednot knowing what she meant.

'What?' Zhi Wei cried.

'May we know what is the matter with Xiao yan zhi?' Liu Hong asked with xiao Teng beside her.

Yongqi, ErKang and Zhi Wei told the rest what had happened to Xiaoyan zhi.

Then hearing this Liu Qing spoke up.

'No wonder why she stayed at Da Zhua Yuan yesterday' Liu Qing said scratching his head.

'It all fits together now' Jin Suo said sweetly then looking at Yongqi who was looking at nothing.

Yongqi turned to face Liu Qing 'Where did she go? Where did she say she was going?' Yongqi asked

'Probably out in the streets somewhere' Liu Qing suggested.

'okay, thanks' Yongqi said as he ran out the door to look for Xiao yan zhi.

Zhi Wei, Er Kang, Jin Suo, Liu Qing, Lou Hong and Xiao Teng all wished him the best of luck to find someone that didn't even know him

Xiao yan zhi looked around at the people filled market.

Xiao yan zhi spotted a Gong Zi(Prince) looking man standing by a stall.

She quietly walked over to him, and noticed the bag of money he had.

She cut off the bag slightly but made a accidenly shook the bag making the money extract a noise.

The Gong Zi turned around, she tried to run but Xiao yan zhihad tripped over a broken basket.

'Stop Theif!' The Gong Zi yelled as he grabbed her arm.

'Xiao yan zhi, it's you' the Gong Zi said surprised.

Xiao yan zhi looked up into the Gong Zi's eyes 'He's so dreamy'.

'Do I know you?' Xiao yan zhi asked politely not usually like the old Xiao yan zhi. 'Don't you remember me?' the Gong Zi asked his face frowning as he looked at her.

Xiao yan zhi squinted one eye and then shrugged 'hmm….not at all' Xiao yan zhi concluded at the end. 'How come you don't remember me at all, I'm Li Jing!' the Gong Zi said his normally smaller voice came to become louder.

'Do you remember Zhi Wei, Yongqi, Er Kang?' Li Jing asked. 'Why do you act the same as Liu Qing? You both ask the same questions…who are they?' Xiao yan zhi questioned.

Li Jing turned around and tried to think of what to do. 'Yongqi and all that must be looking for Xiao yan zhi' Li Jing thought to himself quietly. Xiao yan zhi watched his back amused and wondered what he was thinking about. 'This guy is kind of Cool, I like him' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself, then blushing when she said 'I like him' in her head. Li Jing turned around to face her again.

'I'm going to take you to the palace, do you want to come with me?' Li Jing whispered into her ear not wanting anyone to know he was from the palace. 'The Pala….!' Xiao yan zhi yelled but Li Jing covered her mouth with his hand so she wouldn't yell out 'Palace' in front of all these people. 'What's the matter?' Xiao yan zhi asked.

'Don't say (whisper) Palace that loud' Li Jing said quietly looking around if anyone heard. Xiao yan zhi didn't understand but nodded anyway for the sake of Li Jing. Li Jing took her by the hand and led her to the palace.

'You can get into the palace?' Xiao yan zhi asked watching Li Jing nod this head. 'Just like that?' Xiao yan zhi said as she clicked her fingers. Li Jing nodded again.

As they reached the Palace, Li Jing walked up to the guards with Xiao yan zhi by his side. 'Open the doors' Li Jing commanded. 'Li Jing Gong Zi Jixiang, Huan Zhu Ge Ge Jixiang' the guards chorused then opened the doors to the palace.

As they walked into the palace 'They think I'm Huan Zhu Ge Ge' Xiao yan zhi said then started to giggle. 'umm…yea' Li Jing lied. 'Wait!' Xiao yan zhi yelled as she stopped Li Jing by the arm.

'You are a Gong Zi? You live at this palace?' Xiao yan zhi asked quickly eyeing him suspicially. 'No This is not my actual home, my father and I have come here to visit, and Yes I'm a Gong Zi' Li Jing answered hoping not to leave Beijing that soon.

'wow, I would love to live here' Xiao yan zhi said walking in front of Li Jing and admiring the beautiful castle. 'But you can live here' Li Jing reminded Xiao yan zhi.

Xiao yan zhi nodded her head sideways 'I can't, if I ever can who will feed the Old and Young at Da Zhua Yuan' Xiao yan zhi said sadly thinking about Bao Ya Tao.

Xiao yan zhi sighed. Li Jing reached into his outer clothing and took out a bank note. He gave to Xiao yan zhi. 'Here this might help alittle, I know it's not much but I'll help' Li Jing said handing the note to her.

Xiaoyan zhi looked at the paper and widened her eyes at the amount there. 'this is NOT much, are you kidding this could feed us for 6 lives!' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed.

Chapter 49

'I still can't, I doubt it the emporer will let a peasant girl like me stay at the PALACE' Xiao yan zhi said again. LiJing thought for a while, then it came to him. 'Since you look so much like Huan zhu Ge Ge, why don't you act as Huan Zhu Ge Ge for a while, you can send back a lot of money for you friends at Da Zhua Yuan' Li Jing said as he couldn't think of any other lie.

Xiao yan zhi too thought about it 'then all the children can have an education' Xiao yan zhi murmered to herself. 'Okay I'll do it'. Li Jing grinned happily. He showed her to Shu Fang Zhai, then told Ming Yue and Cai Xia the secret giving the occasional wink.

Both maids knew what to do.

Li Jing ran over to Jing Yang Gong, to wait for Wu ah Ge to return home so he could tell him the good news as well as the bad news. Not long Yongqi, Zhi Wei and ErKang returned to the Palace depressed. Er Kang suggested that Zhi Wei and him go home to the Fu Minor but Zhi Wei insisted on staying with Yongqi.

'He might do something crazy' Zhi Wei whispered to Er Kang who nodded in agreement. Zhi Wei and Er Kang folllowed Yongqi who walked in front of them quietly and alone. Zhi Wei looked at Er Kang who just nodded his head sideways telling her not to disturb Yongqi. Yongqi walked slowly watching images of Xiaoyan zhi flash before him.

*********** Start of Flashback**************

Xiao yan zhi covered his eyes with a scarf and told him not to move about. 'Yongqi, don't look!' Xiao yan zhi yelled trying to act angry. 'Alright' Yongqi said as he sat as still as a statue. Yongqi could hear Xiao yan zhi rummaging through the drawers.

'Ah Found it' even Xiao yan zhi's murmer could be heard loud and clear. Yongqi felt the scarf around this eyes begin to be unfold itself. Everything looked blurry, Yongqi rubbed his eyes then looked up.

A beautiful piece of Jade dangled in front of his eyes. Yongqi was left speechless. 'Like it?' Xiao yan zhi said she too taking a look at the beautiful jade so brought for Yongqi. 'It's brilliant, You brought it just for me?' Yongqi said out of excitement.

'Uh ha! Why do you think Liu Hong and I have been going shopping without you these couple of days.' Xiao yan zhi said scratching her head and smiling sheepishly.

'Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked looking at her lovingly 'I love you!'

As Yongqi reached Jing Yang Gong someone walked in front of him quickly. Yongqi looked up at the person hoping like hell that it would be Xiao yan zhi 'oh Li Jing, it's you' Yongqi merely said trying to at least crack a fake smile on his frowning face.

'I've got something great to tell you' Li Jing started but Yongqi paid no notice 'I'm sorry Li Jing I'm too tired, can you talk about it tomorrow' Yongqi said thinking that if he couldn't find Xiao yan zhi, Li Jing couldn't have found her either. 'But..it's' Li Jing said again for the second time. Yongqi walked in and excused himself. He was deeply depressed.

Li Jing shrugged and decided to tell Yongqi another day when he is feeling much better. Zhi Wei and Er Kang reached Shu Fang Zhai.

**********Inside Shu Fang Zhai**********

'GeGe, go inside and take a rest first' Ming Yue said showing Xiao yan zhi to her own room. 'Thank you…er?' Xiao yan zhi said showing confusion. 'My name is Ming Yue, she is Cai Xia' Ming Yue said quickly pointed to Cai Xia who stood closely behind her.

'Ok, thank you' Xiao yan zhi said before going into her room for a nap. After a while, Ming Yue and Cai Xia saw Zhi Wei walked in. 'Zhi Wei GeGe Jixiang' both Ming Yue and Cai Xia chorused as they curtsied. Zhi Wei explained everything to them about Xiao yan zhi which Li Jing had already told them about.

'GeGe…Hua…'Cai Xia started until she was interrupted by Er Kang 'Zhi Wei, it's getting late' Er Kang called ushering her to leave now. 'But' Ming Yue said urgently. 'Alright then, I'll be back tomorrow to see you all again' Zhi Wei said then started to walk out.

Ming Yue and Cai Xia did not know what to do, run after them and tell them that Huan Zhu Ge Ge is in her room, or just wait till tomorrow. 'Guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow' Cai Xia said to Ming Yue who nodded.

'Who were you talking to?' Xiao yan zhi came out and looked around at the empty room. 'Answering to your question GeGe, we were talking to Zhi Wei GeGe' Ming Yue informed Xiao yan zhi. 'Zhi Wei GeGe? I have to meet her, maybe we can become good friends, or maybe we can become Jue Bai Jie Mei (sorry about my pingyin) Sworn Sisters' Xiao yan zhi said to them excited in meet another friend.

Ming Yue looked at Cai Xia to just sighed at Xiao yan zhi. Night came and everyone tucked in and fell asleep. The next morning came slowly. Yongqi woke up early and got dressed to see Huang Shang, to tell him about the reason why Xiao yan zhi's disappeared in which Huang Shang hadn't known about yet.

'Wu Ah Ge Jia Dao' a guard announced at Yongqi's arrival. 'Yongqi what brings you here this early in the morning?' Huang Shang asked couriously. Yongqi told Huang Shang everything of what Hu Tai Yi had told him about Xiao yan zhi and that Xiaoyan zhi's temporary memory loss was all caused by him, after their little argument the night before Xiao yan zhi mysteriously fainted.

'What? You mean she won't remember anything after she entered the palace, does that mean she won't remember her husband Yongqi and her father Huang Ah Ma?' Huang Shang asked as little crevices appeared on his forehead. 'Yes, I'm afraid so' Yongqi said.

Huang Shang slumped into his chair, one of his two favourite daughters had lost her memory and is wondering around the streets outside alone and not protected.

Chapter 50

'I wonder if I'll meet the emporer or a gege or even a ah Ge?' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself scratching her chin. She really liked this palace.

She quickly got dressed as she wanted to 'explore' this palace…'No one will believe that I have been in the palace when I go home' Xiao yan zhi said happily. 'Zhi Wei Ge Ge jia dao' a Guard announced loudly.

'Zhi Wei Ge Ge?' Xiao yan zhi asked herself, excited to make another friend. 'Has GeGe returned yet?' Zhi Wei asked hoping like hell that Xiao yan zhi would be back. 'Hui Ge Ge (answering to your question GeGe) Huan zhu gege has returned' Ming Yue said.

'What?!, when was this?' Zhi Wei asked. 'Yesterday, Huan zhu gege returned here yesterday' Ming Yue said again. 'Why didn't you tell me yesterday?' Zhi Wei asked her voice getting alittle meaner which was not like her at all but if something happened to her dearest relative she would be furious.

'GeGe we attempted to tell you but Fu Da Ye asked for you to leave so we couldn't tell you' Cai Xia said. 'Sorry, It was all my fault I'm terribly sorry for yelling at you before' Zhi Wei apologised.

'You are…?' Xiao yan zhi asked coming out from her room. 'Xiao Yan Zhi?' Zi Wei exclaimed a big smile forming on her face. 'You..you know me?' Xiao yan zhi said surprised. 'Oh yea..I forgot' Zhi Wei thought to her self knowing she had forgotten something.

'Well?' Xiao yan zhi said breaking the silence in the room. Zhi Wei fell silent not knowing what to tell her, she wouldn't say 'Xiao yan zhi you've lost your mind don't you remember?'.

Xiao yan zhi looked at Zhi Wei. 'She's very pretty, she looks like a great friend' Xiao yan zhi whispered to herself. 'I'm Xia Zhi Wei, the spring time flower Zhi Wei' Zhi Wei introduced herself.

'I'm Xiao yan zhi, just Xiao yan zhi' Xiaoyan zhi introduced herself too. Although Zhi Wei knew, she played along with the game.

She was so happy, Wu ah ge just has to know! 'Hey, let's Jue Bai as sworn sisters' Xiaoyan zhi suggested. 'erm…..but…alright…but not now, you have to meet my brother' Zhi Wei also suggested.

'Is your brother a prince? Is he great looking?, because I think I have seen him before!' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed excitedly. 'Well from my point of view, he is a great guy and as you said yes! He is handsome' Zhi Wei said wondering if she had fallen for Yongqi (again).

'I do know him' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed.

'Then you have to meet him' Zhi Wei suggested even more. The two girls giggled happily. Yongqi rushed over back to Jing Yang gong.

Li Jing sttod in front of Yongqi. 'Li Jing?' Yongqi asked. 'I'm here to tell you about Xiao yan zhi?' Li Jing said sternly just in case he wouldn't listen to him like what happened last time.

'Xiao yan zhi? What? Something happened to her? Tell me?!' Yongqi cried desperate to her what news Li Jing had kept from him about Xiao yan zhi.

'I've found Xiao yan zhi' Li Jing said simply. 'Where?' Yongqi asked wanting to beg him.

'I found her at the market yesterday, she doesn't seem to remember anything. She's in Shu Fang Zhai' Li Jing replied.

Yongqi put his hand behind her back so she wouldn't fall. 'Yongqi? Oh I heard some great news….' Zhi Wei said happily seeing just the right person. Yongqi looked up.

'Xiao yan zhi is back!' Zhi Wei said as she smiled. 'I know already, Li Jing told me' Yong Qi said. 'She doesn't remember a thing…..' Zhi Wei said.

'Zhi Wei!' a voice called. 'Er Kang glad that you are here, Xiao…' Zhi Wei started then Er Kang cut in 'I know…..Xiao yan zhi is back'.

'Let's not waste anymore time and go there' Yongqi said running with the others.

************(At Shu Fang Zhai)**************

'Min…..Xia?' Xiao yan zhi said as she stuttered. 'Wrong GeGe, It's Ming Yue as in moon and THIS(pointing to Cai Xia) is Cai Xia' Ming Yue explained to Xiao yan zhi who had no clue to what their names are.

'Wu ah ge Dao, Zhi Wei GeGe dao, Fu da Ye dao' a guard announced. Xiao yan zhi looked up, she was excited in meeting new friends. 'Xiao yan zhi, Looks who I've brought to visit you; My brother' Zhi Wei said happily..'and my husband Er Kang' Zhi Wei also added shyly.

Xiao yan zhi looked behind Zhi Wei, there was no one there. Little did Xiao yan zhi know Zhi Wei wanted to give Xiao yan zhi a surprise (because she thought that Xiao yan zhi liked her brother).

'Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi said as he walked in. 'Hi Xiao yan zhi' Li Jing chorused as he walked in. Immediately Xiao yan zhi diverted her attention to Li Jing.

'Li Jing! You never told me you were Zhi Wei's brother?' Xiao yan zhi said casually as she lightly hit him on the shoulder. 'I..i…' Li Jing hesitated for a moment then glancing at the uncomfortable Yongqi.

'Xiao yan zhi, Li Jing Gong Zi is NOT my brother, my brother is Yongqi Wu ah Ge' Zhi Wei corrected as she pointed at Yongqi. 'Oh, sorry I miss understood' Xiao yan zhi said blushing alittle.

'Xiao yan zhi, don't yo….' Yongqi started then looked at Zhi Wei who giave alittle nod indicating a 'not yet'. 'Do you realise that me Xiao yan zhi is standing here talking to Wu Ah Ge, Fu Da Ye, A gege, and a Gong Zi' Xiao yan zhi said slapping her self lightly on the forehead.

'You certainly are' Li Jing added quickly to break the silence. . Xiao yan zhi looked at Li Jing 'This li Jing is so cool, he is so manly' Xiao yan zhi thought to herself as she continued to admire him.

Li Jing was looking around the room thinking of what to say next then he looked at her too; deep into her big beautiful eyes.

Both turned around and blushed.

Unfortunately, this scene didn't go unnoticed by Yongqi, Zhi Wei and Er Kang who looked at each other uneasily.

Chapter 51

Zhi Wei looked hopfully at Er Kang who was thinking hard of what to tell Xiao yan zhi about her temporary memory loss.

'So Li Jing…' Xiao yan zhi started as she turned around to Li Jing not wanting to make it obvious that she likes him. They started to talk like old friends.

Everything around Yongqi seemed to turn dark, Yongqi watched angrily as HIS wife talked to another man, this made his blood boil! Er Kang sensed that Yongqi would be angry, so he walked up to Yongqi.

Er Kang tapped Yongqi on the shoulder and ushered for them both to leave the room. Yongqi followed hesitantly not wanting to take his eyes off Xiao yan zhi for even a mere second.

**************** After they got outside. *****************

'This is serious now!' Er Kang exclaimed. 'How could…I mean why did Xiao yan zhi fall for Li Jing' Zhi Wei also added. 'Why must God punish me like that?, God must know that my weakness is Xiaoyan zhi' Yongqi said angrily.

'Calm down Yongqi, we'll think up a way of helping her remember us' Er Kang said laying his hand on Yongqi's shoulder.

'Calm down? Me, Calm down? After my wife has fallen for a guy who likes her as well!' Yongqi blurted out. 'USED to like her' Zhi Wei corrected. 'Used to like; that could be a lie, he could still like her this very moment' Yongqi snapped back angrily.

'Listen to me Yongqi, for the best of Xiao yan zhi I think we should let time be the healer' Er Kang said. 'Why do you mean for the best of Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi asked confused. 'Do you want to see Xiao yan zhi depressed?' Er Kang said.

Before Yongqi could answer Er Kang cut in 'Of Course you don't, so just stay calm time will heal her, as for us we'll stay be her side and attempt to help her regain her memory'.

Yongqi knew that he should just tell her, but he couldn't think of a better reason than Er Kang's answer, Yongqi hesitantly nodded. 'Well, what about Li Jing and Xiao yan zhi?' Yongqi said alittle red in the face.

'As for them, I'm sure Li Jing would take good care of Xiao yan zhi' Zhi wei teased Yongqi. Yongqi let out a sigh. They all walked back into the room.

Xiao yan zhi ran up to Zhi Wei ' Zhi Wei could you take to explore the palace?' Xiao yan zhi said her eyes doing most of the begging. 'sure, Yongqi can take you around' Zhi Wei said happily.

'Wu ah Ge? Can you?' Xiaoyan zhi said as she turned to face him. 'She's so pretty' Yongqi thought to himself breathless 'sure' He managed to say casually.

His heart shattered when she turned around to Li Jing 'Li Jing wanna come too?'. Li Jing nodded. She smiled at Yongqi 'Thankz Wu Ah Ge' Xiao yan zhi said happily.

'If you don't mind, you can call me Yongqi' Yongqi said sadly.

Chapter 52

He nodded, Zhi Wei knew what he meant in her heart. 'It's okay, Xiao yan zhi Er Kang and I need to get back for Er Niang's special dinner tonight' Zhi Wei replied with a little smile on her face. 'hmmm okay then, you know even though I don't know you for long; I feel as if I've known you for a long time' Xiao yan zhi said thinking hard.

'Maybe because we are' Zhi Wei murmured under her breath. Zhi Wei and Er Kang bid a goodbye and left. 'Do you think we should tell her?' Li Jing asked Yongqi. Yongqi shrugged. 'What are you waiting for? Let's Go' Xiao yan zhi said urgently wanting to see the forbidden palace. Together the three of them went out.

Li Jing and Yongqi became the tour guides and let Xiao yan zhi around the palace, always hinting her about things she is supposed to know…maybe that would help her get her memory back. Nigh fell on Bei Jing City, soon many people were tucking in ready to sleep.

'Not yet! I haven't even been around there yet or there' Xiao yan zhi said pointing from place to place. 'It's getting late now, we'll continue the tour tomorrow' Li Jing said 'Maybe we can go to Liu Qing and Liu Hong's place tomorrow?' Yongqi asked. 'Sure! Is it the 'new' Restaurant they opened?' Xiao yan zhi said.

***********( the Next Day)************

'Xiao yan zhi? May I come in?' Zhi Wei knocked on the door of Xiao yan zhi's bedroom. No answer. Zhi Wei slowly pushed the door open and walked in. Xiao yan zhi was still deep asleep, blanket was kicked on to the floor and her cushion was on the floor too. 'Such a messy sleeper' Zhi Wei teased Xiao yan zhi. 'Xiao yan zhi, time to wake up!' Zhi Wei said slightly shaking Xiao yan zhi on the shoulders. Xiao yan zhi didn't move, Zhi Wei looked scared.

'Xiao yan zhi, don't scare me talk to me?' Zhi Wei said getting a little louder. Zhi Wei turned Xiao yan zhi on to her side and saw a trickle of blood at the corner of her mouth. 'Xiao yan zhi!' Zhi Wei said really worried now. She sat on the bed not knowing what to do. Someone pulled her long plait, Zhi Wei turned around.

'BOO!' Xiao yan zhi yelled at the top of her lungs. Zhi Wei screamed, 'Ren Xia Ren Mei Yao Yi [A person scaring another person, there's no medicine for the fright, sorry I can't explain this … and my pinyin sucks too]' Zhi Wei said calming down from the fright. 'Sorry' Xiao yan zhi said then started laughing. Zhi Wei was a little angry but soon burst into laughter too.

'Where'd you get the fake blood from?' Zhi Wei said admiring Xiao yan zhi's skills to lie to people. 'I found some in the study room, it had loads of watercolor paints' Xiao yan zhi said taking out the bottle of red watercolor paint from her shirt pocket. 'You just have unlimited skills don't you' Zhi Wei teased.

'You dare tease me' Xiao yan zhi said curling up her fingers ready to tickle Zhi Wei.The Xiao yan zhi this very moment was nearly just like the Xiao yan zhi she was sisters with, Zhi Wei sighed.

'Zhi Wei, where are we going today?' Xiao yan zhi asked.'We're going to Hui Bing Lou' Zhi Wei answered.

Chapter 53

The two girls headed to the carriage, Yongqi, Li Jing, Er Kang and even Xiao Teng was there. Xiao yan zhi was about to jump aboard when she stopped and looked at Xiao Teng. 'I'm Xiao Teng' Xiao Teng introduced himself.

'Xiao Teng?' Xiao yan zhi said to herself happy that she has ANOTHER friend now. 'I'll introduce him to you when we get to Hui Bing Lou' Zhi Wei suggested. The carriage set off for Hui Bing Lou. The carriage travelled not far when the famous Hui Bing Lou was in sight.

'wow! It looks nice…I can't believe Liu Hong and Liu Qing and that Jin Suo own this' Xiao yan zhi said happily with a little disbelief. 'There's more to come that you don't know of' Zhi Wei said seriously. Xiao yan zhi wasn't listening, all she could do was look outside at the scenery (she didn't really focus on scenery before) it seemed so beautiful..the sky…the trees…the houses…li Jing.

Xiao yan zhi abruptly turned away blushing. Zhi Wei just didn't know what they would do, her brother is so depressed, Xiao yan zhi is falling for Li Jing, and last of all Li Jing might like Xiao yan zhi still. The horse carriage came to a halt.

Everyone got off the carriage, and was greeted by Liu Hong, Liu Qing, and Jinsuo. 'Xiao Jie Xiao Jie' Jin Suo chanted as she ran over to Zhi Wei and gave her a sisterly hug. Xiao Teng walked over to Liu Hong and gave her a reassuring look. 'Liu Hong!' Xiao yan zhi chanted and gave Liu Hong a hug.

'I never knew you and Liu Qing and his wife opened a restaurant?' Xiao yan zhi said. Liu Hong glanced up at the rest Yongqi nodded his head indicating a 'no yet'. 'we opened it not long ago…this restaurant sure had a lot of history' Liu Hong said giving a fake little giggle.

'Liu Hong, since Liu Qing is already married when are you going to get married?' Xiao yan zhi teased. 'nearly' Liu Hong said blushing ferociously. 'Who? Do you like someone? Tell me please?' Xiao yan zhi pleaded. Liu Hong pretended to think for a while.

'If you don't tell me, I'll never talk to you again .. hmph!' Xiao yan zhi said pretending to be angry. 'erm..Xiao Teng' Liu Hong said softly so softly that it could be classified as a whisper.

'What?' Xiao yan zi said not realising that Xiao Teng is Liu Hong's boyfriend. 'When did this happen?' Xiao yan zhi asked thinking that she had missed a lot. 'Xiao Teng, you'd better treat Liu Hong good or else…' Xiao Yan zhi pretended to threaten holding her fist in the air.

'Alright, Alright…I'll treat her with all my heart' Xiao Teng said melting Liu Hong's heart. 'Geez..how come everyone is a pair…I don't want to fall in love..to much trouble' Xiao yan zhi admitted.

Er Kang looked at Yongqi who faked a laugh.

'Yongqi? Your brother?' Xiao yan zhi said. 'yes…what do you think?' Zhi Wei said again. 'Yongqi is…is a nice guy…erm…very nice' Xiao yan zhi said thinking hard. 'Besides nice…would you like him?' Zhi Wei said deciding to ask a direct question. 'umm…yes I would like him' Xiao yan zhi said blushing a little.

'Can we not talk about this?' Xiao yan zhi added. Zhi Wei just sighed and nodded. When they got back to the palace, Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei both stayed at Shu Fang Zhai for the night while Yongqi went back to Jing Yang Gong along and Er Kang went back to Fu Minor along too.

Morning soon came. Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei woke up at the same time. 'Your early today?' Zhi Wei said noticing Xiao yan zhi not sleepy at all. 'I don't know why I woke up so early today' xiao yan zhi said as she shrugged. They got dressed and took a walk in the garden, Zhi Wei showing Xiao yan zhi around. Yongqi and Er Kang walked up to them as they were looking for them.

'Li Jing, over here' Xiao yan zhi gave a yell out to Li Jing who was walking across the garden. Yongqi felt his blood boil. Zhi Wei saw this and gave Yongqi a look indicating a no. 'Hi Xiao yan zhi, hi guys' Li Jing said as he gave everyone a handsome smile of his. 'I was just about to look for you all, I have some bad news' Li Jing said sadly.

'what is it?' Xiao yan zhi said, the others all interested to what he was going to say. 'My father is leaving tomorrow to go back home…I am to come with him' Li Jing explained sadly to leave this bunch of friends…and Xiao yan zhi. Yongqi smiled inside, he was partly happy that Li Jing was leaving. 'Why do you have to leave this quick?' Zhi Wei asked.

'My father is going to attend one of my younger sister's marriage, hard to believe that she is getting married before me' Li Jing said giving a little chuckle. 'Can't you stay back?' Xiao yan zhi said. 'no..I could if there was some important reason..but' Li Jing said glancing at Xiao yan zhi. 'What if it's because of me?' Xiao yan zhi said impatiently.

Zhi Wei, Er Kang got a big shock, Yongqi felt like his heart was being torn slowly piece by piece. 'you?' Li Jing said as he looked at her deeply. Xiao yan zhi looked at him back in the eyes seeing a twinkle in his eyes 'yes'. Er Kang took a side glance at Yongqi who was now fuming with anger. Er Kang stepped in between them both breaking the scene.

'Li Jing' Er Kang said giving him the indication to step away for a moment. Li Jing sadly said a bye to Xiao yan zhi and left. 'Er Kang why did?' Xiao yan zhi started before Yongqi grabbed her arm and turned her around to face him. Yongqi pulled Xiao yan zhi to Jing Yang gong and closed all the doors.

'I have something to tell you' Yongqi said sternly.

Chapter 54

Xiao yan zhi turned around cupping her hands over her ears not wanting to hear anymore. Yongqi grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands off her ears. 'I love you Xiao yan zhi, and you have to remember me' Yongqi said softly. Xiao yan zhi turned around to face Yongqi.

'you Loved me?' Xiao yan zhi said. 'I loved you, and I still love you' Yongqi said. Yongqi hugged Xiao yan zhi tightly. She could feel the security and warmth that she wanted for so long just in Yongqi's arms. Yongqi lifted her chin and slowly moved his head closer to hers.

Xiao yan zhi did not resist one bit because she knew that this is what she had to do. Yongqi kissed Xiao yan zhi so passionately. The screen circled them. Nearly towards that end of the kiss Xiao yan zhi grabbed her head and screamed. Memories flashed before her

Xiao yan zhi's head ached so bad that tears rolled down her face. It felt as if 1000 needles were being pierced through her head one by one. The pain was unbearable. "Pain a flesh eating crocodile, ripping the flesh bit by bit. Pain…a big black vortex sucking you in not letting any good light touch you". Everything went black.

'Xiao yan zhi? Xiao yan zhi! Talk to me!' Yongqi said she fainted into his arms. 'Xiao yan zhi!' Yongqi yelled loudly. Zhi Wei and Er Kang entered the room quickly and saw Xiao yan zhi in this state. 'Cai Xia! Call the doctor' Er Kang called. Zhi Wei started to cry beside Xiao yan zhi.

Yongqi swiftly and carefully put Xiao yan zhi down on the bed. 'Xiao yan zhi, don't die please don't die' Zhi Wei said in between sobs. Zhi Wei stood up and ran up to Er Kang and hugged him tightly 'Why is Xiao yan zhi so unlucky?' Zhi Wei said crying hard on Er Kang's shoulder.

'She was just fine when we were talking to her in the garden but now she's..' Er Kang said comforting Zhi Wei at the same time. 'oh please, Xiao yan zhi don't dump me all alone here again. Life without you is hell' Yongqi said. The doctor arrived quickly, immediately checking her pulse. 'How is she?' Yongqi asked impatiently.

Yongqi breathed out slowly and turned to face 'What do you mean 'to do with her illness'?' Yongqi asked desperately. 'Chen, thinks that Huan Zhu Ge Ge's fainting is to do with her temporary memory loss, I'll get some herbs for her that should make her a bit better' Hu Tai Yi said quickly. 'Alright, quickly then' Yongqi said with a wave of a hand. Hu Tai Yi exited quickly.

Yongqi walked over to the bed and held his dear Xiao yan zhi's hand 'Xiao yan zhi' Yongqi whispered as he raised her hand and gently put it under the covers. Yongqi slightly rested his eyes for a while on the chair beside the bed. 'Yongqi! Where are you?!' Xiao yan zhi yelled as she moved around on the bed still inside her sleep.

Yongqi woke up faster than a bolt of lightning and raced to the side of the bed at once. 'Xiao yan zhi, I'm here' Yongqi nearly cried hoping that Xiao yan zhi had waken up. His heart once again torn to see her in this state. 'Xiao yan zhi' he whispered to himself again. Xiao yan zhi stirred and beads of sweat dropped down her pale cheeks slowly.

Her eyes flashed open immediately, she stared at the blurry figure in front of her. His huge browns eyes looking down at her, she sensed that she knew this person. 'Yongqi?' Xiao yan zhi slowly said unsure. Yongqi threw his arms around Xiao yan zhi, and nearly cried in happiness. 'Do you remember me? Who I am?' Yongqi quickly asked.

'You are Li Jing' Xiao yan zhi said weakly.

Yongqi widened his eyes 'you still don't remember me' Yongqi said sadly. 'I was just joking, your Yongqi my husband' Xiao yan zhi said weakly attempting to laugh. 'You remember me! So you still remember what happened while you forgot everything?' Yongqi asked. Xiao yan zhi gave three simple nods. The couple embraced each other.

The next day, Yongqi walked in with a tray of medicine. Seeing Xiao yan zhi get out of bed and attempting to walk nearly made him jump out of his skin. 'Xiao yan zhi you can't walk because you are still ill' Yongqi said putting down the tray then running over to help Xiao yan zhi who was struggling to stand up.

'I've only got a headache' Xiao yan zhi replied happy to see her husband worry over her. 'Please just stay in bed' Yongqi pleaded and pleaded. 'Alright then, I'll stay in bed and die' Xiao yan zhi said as she emphasized the word 'die'.

Yongqi gave up, 'Alright then' Yongqi said leading her out of the room. As they left their Jing Yang Gong room, they came upon Zhi Wei and Er Kang. 'Zhi weiii…' Xiao yan zhi said as she hugged her best sister.

'Xiao yan zhi I really missed you' Zhi Wei also added as she hugged Xiao yan zhi and winked. The four of them talked for some time. 'Let's go see Li Jing, I heard that he and his father would be leaving tomorrow' Zhi Wei said glancing at Yongqi who shifted uncomfortably. 'Can we not?' Xiao yan zhi said looking down at the floor.

'Why?' Er Kang asked. Zhi Wei also wanted to know.

Chapter 55

Xiao yan zhi looked up at Yongqi who gave her a nod. ‘Li Jing is leaving tomorrow, you’ll have to see him tomorrow as well’ Yongqi said happily. ‘Alright then’ Xiao yan zhi answered hesitantly. They walked to Li Jing’s room. As they walked in the room was really quiet. One of Li Jing’s personal maids ran up to them and greeted them ‘Where is your master?’ Yongqi asked.

‘Li Jing Gong Zi has gone to Huang Shang’s study’ the maid answered. The four walked out and headed towards Huang Shang’s Study. ‘Huang ah Ma Jixiang’ Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei, Yongqi and Er Kang chorused. Li Jing looked at Xiao yan zhi, his heart happy to see her better but not happy to see that she and Yongqi are together. ‘Li Jing is going to leave for home tomorrow, I want all of you four to attend his farewell’ Huang Shang said.

‘Xie Huang ah Ma’ the four of them thanked. ‘Li Jing, tell your ah ma that it was great to have him here as a guest’ Huang Shang said joyously to Li Jing who smiled. Soon Li Jing, xiao yan zhi, Yongqi, Zhi Wei and Er Kang walked out of the study. Everyone walked in complete silence. Xiao yan zhi built up enough courage and walked up to Li Jing. ‘Can I have a word with you?’ Xiao yan zhi said taking him behind a building where no one was.

‘What is it?’ Li Jing asked. ‘Well, you know when I kind of lost my memory Yongqi told me I…I..’ Xiao yan zhi started then she couldn’t spit the words out, she blushed. Li Jing knew that she was going to say that, he scratched his head and gave a fake little laugh ‘yea…treat it as if nothing happened’. Xiao yan zhi’s eyes widened ‘really?’ Li Jing nodded. Xiao yan zhi walked up to him and gave him a slight punch on the shoulder ‘I have such wonderful friends’. They both walked back.

Yongqi who was worried sick finally relieved that Xiao yan zhi had cleared everything up herself. ‘I’m going to miss you a lot Li Jing’ Xiao yan zhi said sadly. ‘I’ll be back to visit you some day’ Li Jing added quickly as they walked back. That night, Xiao yan zhi cried her eyes out on Yongqi’s chest. ‘I’m going to miss Li Jing, he has been such a good friend more like a brother’ Xiao yan zhi managed to speak in between cries.

‘He’ll be back to visit us some day’ Yongqi comforted. ‘Are you sure?’ Xiao yan zhi said wearily. ‘yes, very sure now get some sleep’ Yongqi said laying Xiao yan zhi onto her cushion. They tucked in and went to sleep.

The next day, Li Jing wore his best clothes and headed for the main gate where he and his father were leaving. As he walked to his horse he looked around for Zhi Wei, Yongqi and Er Kang and most of all xiao yan zhi. He turned around in disappointment until he heard an angel call.

‘Li Jing! We’re over here’ Xiao yan zhi yelled as loud as she could. Li Jing squinted his eye to find where she was. He spotted her and the others. ‘Bye Li Jing we’ll all miss you greatly’ Xiao yan zhi yelled again. Li Jing waved back at her saying bye to her for the last time.

Soon Li Jing, his father and all their men paraded out the palace. Before Li Jing went out the door he took another glance at Xiao yan zhi, turned around and rode away. Tears gathered in Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei’s eyes. They hid their tears by burying their heads in their husband’s chests.

What a sad day!

Chapter 56

One night…

'Liu Hong, when are you both getting married?' Xiao yan zhi said pestering around Xiao Teng and Liu Hong. 'not THAT quick' Liu Hong said lowering her head and blushing. Xiao yan zhi made a face and nudged Xiao Teng in the ribs. Xiao Teng hopped around fakely with pain 'That Hurt SO much!'.

Suddenly a noise was heard, something had fallen onto the ground. Xiao Teng didn't notice that something had fallen out of his pocket. The three of them walked away giggling at something Xiao yan zhi had said.

An eunuch who happened to walk by spotted a lovely piece of jade that very well caught his eye. He decided to bring it straight to the emperor. 'Where did you find this?' Huang Shang said as he examined the piece of jade. 'Chen, found it on the pathway near Shu Fang Zhai' the eunuch answered politely. 'Shu Fang Zhai?' Huang Shang whispered to himself wondering.

*****(At Shu Fang Zhai)********

Yongqi, Xiao yan zhi, Zhi Wei, Er Kang, Liu Hong, and Xiao Teng all sat in a circle and started to laugh. Xiao Teng felt as if something was missing. He stopped smiling and started to search his pockets. 'What are you looking for?' Liu Hong asked. 'I've lost something my mother gave me' Xiao Teng replied looking worried.

'What is it? Maybe we can help you look for it' Xiao yan zhi said quickly. 'It's a jade pendant given to me from my mother' Xiao Teng said uneasily. 'A jade? Must be valuable' Er Kang exclaimed. 'We must find it before somebody else in the palace finds it' Yongqi also added. The six of them got out of their seats and started out the door.

An eunuch stopped them and announced 'Huang Shang want's to see Huan Zhu Ge Ge, Zhi Wei Ge Ge, Wu Ah Ge in his study room now'. Xiao yan zhi and Zhi Wei looked at each other.

The six of them walked together towards Huang Shang's study wondering what the problem was now. 'Huang ah Ma/ Huang Shang Ji xiang' the six of them chorused and bowed slightly. 'An Eunuch found this near Shu Fang Zhai on a pathway' Huang Shang said whisking the jade from the table near him.

'This is a piece of royal Jade, only people from the royal family would have this piece of Jade' Huang Shang said. 'Why don't we have one?' Xiao yan zhi pouted looking at the lovely jade.

'In Bei Jing we do not have one but in some certain countries they do' Huang Shang explained. 'Do you know who this might belong too?' Huang Shang quickly asked.

Xiao Teng took a deep breath and stepped forward 'It's my jade Huang Shang'.

Everyone was shocked.

Chapter 57

'I'm not sure either, I just know that my mother gave it too me when I was a little baby' Xiao Teng answered. Huang Shang threw in a confused look. 'If you have that Jade then you must be of royality blood' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed. 'could be' Yongqi added thoughtfully. 'A prince? A King?' Xiao yan zhi recited. ' I will further investigate on this matter, for all I know you might even be part of the royal family' Huang Shang said half joked and half serious. Xiao Teng received his jade back and they all left.

'Do you know anything else that you need to tell us about this incident' Liu Hong asked. 'No Not that I know of' Xiao Teng answered. Everyone couldn't sleep that night thinking about what had happened today. 'I wonder if Xiao Teng is really a prince from another country?' Xiao yan zhi asked Yongqi who was half asleep just saying yes to everything. Yongqi murmured a 'yes'. 'Or maybe a prince here?' Xiao yanzhi said again. 'Yes' Yongqi murmured again.

'what do we do now to help Xiao Teng?' Xiao yan zhi asked. 'yes' Yongqi murmured again. Xiao yan zhi was getting fed up with Yongqi. 'Can I be Xiao Teng's Wife?' Xiao yan zhi asked on purpose. 'yes' Yongqi murmured softly. 'Fine than!' Xiao yanzhi said loudly covering her head with the blanket. Yongqi woke up suddenly just realising that he had said yes to that answer. 'Xiao yan zhi, I was just tired…' Yongqi tried to explain.

'No explanation accepted' Xiao yan zhi said through her blanket. 'Xiao yan Zhi' Yongqi said in his most loving voice. Her heart melted. 'Next time I talk to you STAY awake' Xiao yan zhi joked. 'yes…almightly one' Yongqi teased. They smiled at each other and slowly fell asleep with no questions asked. The next day, they all met in Shu Fang Zhai again. 'I hope that Huang Ah Ma has done some investigation on this case and I hope that he has some discoveries today' Er Kang said full of hope.

Then the same eunuch that told them to go to Huang Shang's study came again to inform them to go there again. 'Er Kang your so psychic' Xiao yan zhi exclaimed. When the six of them arrived, Huang Ah Ma has something urgent to tell them. 'There's good news and bad news'. 'Good news and bad news?' Zhi Wei repeated making her sound like a parrot. Huang Shang nodded. 'Good news first' Xiao yan zhi suggested to brighten up the day…so far. Huang Shang asked for Xiao Teng's jade and dangled it in front of the three couples.

'I have done some investigation on this case and I came up with some mind boggling results' Huang Shang said sighing. He waved his hand in the air. Two eldery looking people walked into the room, rested on their knees and kow towed. 'Who are they?' Yongqi asked taking a closer look at them. 'Aunt, Uncle Jin?' Xiao Teng exclaimed nearly excited to see them. Huang Shang would love a family reunion but there were more serious fish to fry.

'Could you both tell me how Xiao Teng got with this Jade' Huang Shang asked solemnly. Aunt Jin and Uncle Jin looked at each other and whispered to each other wondering if they should tell the truth or not. Aunt Jin nodded. 'Well it goes like this…' Uncle Jin started sighing heavily at the start of his speech.

*******(Start of Flashback)*************

Concubine Xin had gave it all she had into bring Xiao Teng into the real world. Not long after she had given birth she had died as of excess loss of blood. The palace mourned about her death especially the king for concubine Xin was the King's beloved one. However since born the jealous concubines knew that he was bad luck. Without the King's consent they decided to do away with the little Shao Ye.

But luckily before they got to a strange man which was believed to be one of the palace Gong Gongs, came a stole the baby away. He brought the baby to our nextdoor neighbour Mrs and Mr Zhou. They named him Zhou Yun Teng. But not long after Mr and Mrs Zhou died of an incurable disease. As they nearly died, Mr and Mrs Zhou let out the secret to the Jin Couple and told them to swear to never tell a soul about this.

'and we were told never to tell anyone but I guess today everything must be revealed* Uncle Jin said abruptly after telling of his flashback.
