Chapter 1

Zhao Wei Wei and Zhao Xiao Wei are twins sister. First lets distinguish the difference between the two.

Zhao Wei Wei: Is the older sister. She’s a newspaper reporter. She’s determined person who trying her best to achieve her highest goal, to become a successful woman. She loved books, colors, and spending time by herself, since her work involved a lot of people. She hasn’t had any serious relationship. As not of the man was has not meet with her standard.

Zhao Xiao Wei: Is the younger sister. She’s kinder-garden teacher. A soft easy girl, who happy with what she got. She’s love white rose, music, and the green garden, even know she very quite, but she enjoy being with the crown and listen to then conversation. She treasured most was her long-term relationship with boyfriend, Alec Su.

Alec Su: He’s graduated from Art school, as a professional painter. He went to high-school with both Wei Wei and Xiao Wei. From that developed a deep love for Xiao Wei, while he can’t stand being company with Wei Wei. While Wei Wei was very much against Xiao Wei and Alec’s relation, she feared artist could not be trusted.

Wei Wei, and Xiao Wei, shared the same look. But to help other people distinguish whom is who. Wei Wei goes with the short hair cut style. And dressed in Jean and colorful T-shirt. Xiao Wei is more comfortable with her long hair, and liked dresses with soft colors.

Alec was concentrating hard on doing a painting portrait of Xiao Wei for the hundredth times. He was busily absorbing Xiao Wei, and recaptured the looked back on to his white framed.

Xiao Wei was sitting beside a small table, in her favored pale pink dress. Her rights elbow lead on the table, while her hand was picking up a rose from the vase of white roses on the table. She tried hard to keep her smile steady.

-Alec! Have you done. Oh my muscle had gone numb here!! Xiao Wei spoke out with difficulty as she tried not to move her body, and still keep smiling.

-Nearly, nearly, Alec replied, while rushing to finish up the last touch. Done…He cried out with joy in the end. With that Xiao Wei sighed with relief as she relaxed and dropped her body deeper in the chair.

-Ai yah!! I can’t get up! Alec…As Xiao Wei struggle, she just couldn’t move her muscle.

Alec on seeing that, quickly put down his paint and brush, rushing over to where Xiao Wei was sitting, and careful held her up. For few minutes leading on Alec’s support, Xiao Wei finally got the control back.

-I hated you, you always tried to punish me like this. Sitting still for hours so you can pracrtice your skill, I don’t even know why I agreed to this so many times. As Xiao Wei pretend to put on an angry face.

But Alec quickly hugged her waist from behind and kissed on her shoulder. That make Xiao Wei giggled.

-I’m, sorry sweetie, it just that I can’t resist on painting you, you’re such beautiful, and so attractive. Pleading Alec, as he still hugging Xiao Wei tightly in his strong arms.

Xiao Wei, turned her body around to faced Alec, as she put her hand around his neck.

-Liar! She grinned, cheekily.

But with her adorable baby face, Alec couldn’t help as he bend downs and gave her a kiss on her soft lips. And ofcouse she kissed him back. During such a passionate moment, suddenly Alec phone began to ring.

-Dammed it! Why such people always picked on our most romantic moment. As Alec got annoyed when he had to cut short his long kiss, and walked over to pick up the phone. Xiao Wei grinned happily upon his disappointment reaction. It’s been five years since they known each other, and three years in a relationship. She was sure that Alec would be the only one for her.

-Hello! Alec answered to the phoned.

-Hey, I want to speak to Xiao Wei. The voice on the other line yelled out.

Alec put the phone away from his ear, and started to put his tongue out making a face at it.

-Who’s that? And what are you doing? Xiao Wei laughed curiously on Alec action.

-It’s your sister! Alec replied, while Xiao Wei quickly made to her to him

-Ah? Wei Wei! She cried with surprised.

-Yes, the big mouth one! Alec complained while handed to Xiao Wei the phone.
Xiao Wei, grabbed hold of the phone, but no forgetting to give him a punished slap on the shoulder.

-It’s my sister, don’t bad talk her. Xiao Wei whispered her last words to Alec, before put the phone on her ear and began to chat.

Meanwhile Alec gone back to his frame and added in the final touch to his new work. Another piece of works of Xiao Wei. One the bottom of the painting, he wrote in with a fine black brush. “Dearest Xiao Wei”.

By then, Xiao Wei, had hanged up the phone, she lead over to grab her white bag which laid near by, and walked to Alec, trying hard not to step on his messy paint and fabric area.

-I have to go, it’s getting late. As she grab Alec hand, leading her head on his shoulder, and glanced at her portrait.

-Alec! It beautiful! You’re so talented…She admired his works.

-Only because you are beautiful. Replied Alec softly at he rounded his arms on her waist. But Xiao Wei broke away from the embrace.

-That’s enough, I have to go. With that she left the room, just after looking up and gave Alec a good bye kiss.

At the dinner table. Mr Zhao was patiently enjoying his dinner, Mrs Zhao sitting near by was absorbing her older daughter who was stuffing herself up with mouth full of food.

-Wei Wei, looked at you, you eating like a pig! Mrs Zhao tried to fix up her daughter.

-Mother, I haven’t had lunch yet! Wei Wei replied, with a mouth full of rice.

-Girls don’t speak when they eat. Her father joined in.

Wei Wei swallowed hard the food in her mouth, and looked at her parent, who been giggled at her.

-Please spared me. I know you and mother trying to take over me, while Xiao Wei not here. Wei Wei replied, playfully with her parents, as they always enjoy a new joke at the dinner table. Mr Zhao and Mrs Zhao broke out with laughter, which warmed up the whole room.

-Dear, we just worry for you…Mrs Zhao came over to give her daughter a patch after she controlled her laughter.

-We, just wanted you to be good, so you’ll find a good husband. Mr Zhao added in, still tried to tease his daughter.

“Here we go again, that marriage topic” Wei Wei frowned to herself. Since Xiao Wei was going out with Alec, her parents had not stopped in nagging her to get a boyfriend as well. But so far, people came up to her, eirther be bad looks, or bad occupation.

Just then, the door opened, and Xiao Wei skipped in happily. She put her bag on the coach and walked in the dinning room to greet every one.

-Father, mother, jie jie..I’m home. Xiao Wei shouted out as she joined into the family circle.

-Oh, you’re home. Mrs Zhao smiled sweetly to her younger twin daughter.

-Yes, the other half is home! Mr Zhao teased both of his daughters. While Mrs Zhao giggles hard with her husband.

-Xiao Wei, come here, we got to build back the border, they been attacking me.. Wei Wei, waved out to Xiao Wei, as she pointed for her sister to sit next to her.

Xiao Wei, happily asked back, while running over to sit with her sister.

-Wow, we’re playing fighting game. Great I’ll join in…Xiao Wei speak out innocently.

With that everybody at the table laughed out with Xiao Wei silliness.

The Zhao family was a family filled with laughter, Wei Wei and Xiao Wei, were the only children of the family. Since they were identical twin, they always enjoyed each other company even known they had different interests. So the girls shared in one big bedroom, with each had a double bed. There were too inner ward broad on each side of the room, and two dressing table, and one door from the room, it took to the bathroom, which shared.

Just before going to bed, the twin enjoying with their own habits. Both of them lied on Wei Wei bed. Xiao Wei on one side, listen to her Discman, Wei Wei on the other side where the lamp was, reading her novel, and in the middle of them, shared a big bucket of popcorn. As the two girl shared the same interest when its come to food, they just loved snacks.

Wei Wei suddenly stiffed and wiped her tears, while turning on to the next page. Xiao Wei accidentally turned around, seeing her sister was crying from reading, she couldn’t help with curious.

-Jie Jie, why are you crying? Xiao Wei leaded closer to glance at the book.

-It’s getting to the emotional part. Sobered Wei Wei, as she shown the book to Xiao Wei. And Xiao Wei leaned her the Discman over, as they switched places, Xiao Wei was reading and Wei Wei was listen the Discman. But not for long, she pulled the ear-pluck out, and put the machine on the table between her bed and Xiao Wei’s bed. She then walked over to her dressing, and start bushing her short hair.

-You’re music, too sad! Wei Wei, complained, while looking at Xiao Wei’s reflection in her mirror.

-But not as sad as your story. Xiao Wei fought back…I don’t believed such love exit. One man willingly to do everything to scarified for his loved. Xiao Wei closed to book, and put the blanket on herself.

-Ofcouse there such thing. Only your boyfriend is not that kind! Wei Wei teased back.

-And I believed your looking for a prince charm just like that. And the way, these nothing wrong with my Alec. Xiao Wei continued on, while grinning at her sister.

-Ofcouse there’s a lot of things wrong with your boyfriend. Too many for me to name. But one thing I really don’t know…As Wei Wei stood up and walked back to the bed, she put the almost empty bowl of popcorn on the table, and lied her back up, beside Xiao Wei…You known we usually shared the same feeling, even I may not like what you love, but I always worked out a reason for why you like that. But I never be able to work out, how can you fall for that artist guys. Wei Wei was speaking of the truth, but in a happy discussing paste.

-What wrong with an Artist? Xiao Wei turned to face Wei Wei, and asked the question.

-You just can’t trust, artist always looking for new things new idea, and it goes the same with their relationship. Wei Wei pointed out her view to the sister.

Xiao Wei shook her head on the soft pillow.

-No, Alec not likes that. Wei Wei frowned and turned her body around to rest her head on the other pillow, as she always fail when talking to Xiao Wei about Alec.

Suddenly Xiao Wei, lifted her head up with an idea.

-Maybe you two haven’t spend enough time together. I’ll try to get the three of us to go out together.

-No way…Wei Wei cut in. not looking at Xiao Wei.

-Come on, jie jie. It’s will be good …Xiao Wei lower her voice in a persuading tone.

-Added yours Alec and me together, do not equal to good. Don’t you known we summed up to be disaster. As Wei Wei shook her head just like Xiao Wei before, refusing the ridiculous idea.

Xiao Wei covered herself in the warm blanket, and started to give a yawn as she closed her eyes and whispered.

-What ever, I’ll deal with it later. Let’s go too sleep. With that Xiao Wei slowly pulled the blanket to cover her face from the light.

But Wei Wei got up, and cheekily pulled down the blanket, to review Xiao Wei grinning face, with her eyes closed.

-Excuse me miss. Isn’t your bed on the other side! What are you doing!
Wei Wei whispered as she teased her sister. Even know they have separated beds, but they hardly sleep alone, each night it would be, eirther Xiao Wei came to Wei Wei bed, and the opposite the next night.

-I’m sleeping Xiao Wei giggled, while still keep her eyes closed, pretend as she was as sleep.

Wei Wei frowned upon her sister childishness, she gave a small slap on Xiao Wei cheek, and turned over to turn off the light. Both girls settle in there own dreamland.

Chapter 2

-Alec, what are you doing? Xiao Wei finally spoke out, as she stopped Alec from acting silly.

-I thought we having dinner together? Alec looked up at Xiao Wei, he was not looking forward to see Wei Wei at all.

-Yes, we having dinner together! You, me and jie jie. Xiao Wei replied as if she never noticed his expression.

-You known this is a big mistake bringing your craggy sister and me together in one table. Alec reminds Xiao Wei. Of many occasion before where they tried to hang out together, but 10 out of 10, they would end up with a fight.

-I don’t care, you’re the two people I loved the most, so it would be nice for you two to get along, please for me…Xiao Peng lower her face, and keep pulling on Alec’s hand. With her cute frowning expression, Alec could not have a heart to fight over that. Alec softens in her eyes, and nodded reluctantly.

-Yeah…Alright!! Just for you, sweetie.!

-Good. Xiao Wei happily relief, as she lead forward to give Alec a rewarded kiss on the cheek, when she pulled away, she suddenly yelled out….Ah!…She here..

-What already! Shocked Alec, as he want some more times to be with Xiao Wei. But it was too late, Wei Wei had appeared when the door opened.

She looked around to find Xiao Wei. Her eyes brighten as she spotted her sister, but it suddenly pulled down, on the view of the person sitting next to Xiao Wei. She hesitantly walked to the table.

-Xiao Wei, why don’t you tell me that you’re going to bring your tail with you. So I brought a packed of ice with me! Wei Wei complaint to her sister, as she glanced a sharp looked at Alec, who returned to her in the same haters.

Wei Wei and Alec, had never get along well. Since that day in grade 10, Wei Wei was proudly holding her major science project to the school. The model that she been working on for ages. But a stupid boy, who ran passed the balcony, wasn’t looking and bump right in to her, she stumbled on the ground, as well as her model. But what worst was that boy even stepped on her project, and all her works and times turned in to a big mess. With that Wei Wei got an E for her project, a lowest marked that she never get in her school life, and it all thanks to the stupid boy, who was no one else then Alec.

-Jie Jie, why should you need ice for, they have air conditioner in here. Xiao Wei asked innocently as she stood up and pulled Wei Wei down, to sit next to her, opposite to Alec.

Wei Wei put her bag down, and slowly took her seat, while hooking at Alec.

-Because I would affair of your boyfriend temper. Remember last time at the camp, he picked up a fire stick and threw at me…Alec glancing an evil looked at Wei Wei, he hated her, hated her so much, if only she was not Xiao Wei’s sister…

But luckily the waiter came over, to eased out the pressure between the two long life enemies..

-May I helped you? The waiter said, as he kept staring at Xiao Wei and then Wei Wei, wonder if its really two person, or just one!!

-Jie Jie..I called fish for you okay! Xiao Wei asked her sister.

-Okay, and get chicken for you! Wei Wei replied.

-Gosh you guys ordered for each other..The waiter said in unbelievingly at what he just saw.
-Why not, we’re twins…Wei Wei relied, looking in amused at the waiter, she and Xiao Wei get that look all the time, and they worked out a answer to deal with the situation.

-Yeh, identical twins.. As Xiao Wei, leaded over to grab her sister shoulder, both of them then put their face close together and smiled teasingly at the waiter…

The waiter stared with amazed but soon he turned to Alec…And for you sir..

-He’ll have the pork dish, thanks…Xiao Wei, replied smiling brightly at Alec, who been sitting quietly, as he didn’t want to create any problem with Wei Wei, for Xiao Wei’s sake.

Alec smiled backed at Xiao Wei, as she turned over to her sister.

-That waiter really funny, I think it the first time he see an identical twin…Xiao Wei was speaking to Wei Wei, when Alec pulled her hand back to his side, Xiao Wei turned around to him, looking for what he wanting to say.

-Because he saw such a different identical twin..Alec said…One is like an angel. He looked adoringly at Xiao Wei, and one is like a devil…He crossed his eyes to Wei Wei.

-Oh..yeh..Wei Wei broke out, as she no long hold back her anger…I thought the waiter guys felt strange at the picture of two princesses sitting next to such a dumped looking guy. Wei Wei glance a challenging looked as Alec

-You…He slapped his hand on the table, as he about to stand up and ready for another verbal fight with her. But Xiao Wei quickly hugged his waist and pulled him down.

Wei Wei gave out an pleading smile, she made a teasing face at him, as Alec couldn’t do anything..

-Aiyah can’t you two pay a little sympathy for each other. Xiao Wei dropped down in her seat, once more time tried to settle between her lover and her sister.

-“NO” As a sharp replied came out at the same time from Wei Wei and Alec, as they looked at Xiao Wei, blaming her on bringing them in.

Xiao Wei was shocked, she sit back and hold her head. “This is really Mission Impossible” Xiao Wei frowned.

“Why should I let him off. There was an E on my school report, and it all thanks to that dumb, stupid guy!” Wei Wei thought, glancing an evil looked at Alec.

“How could I stand her! The one who always tried to put me down in front of everybody” Alec thought, as he returned the same glanced to Wei Wei.

From that night Xiao Wei learned another less, some people just don’t matched with each other.

Wei Wei pushed the door opened, as she arrived at her office, and then made her way to the table, where people were greeting her now and then on the way. She stopped in a sudden, looking at a big vase of flowers standing in the middle of her table. She quickly grabbed on a young guy who just walked passed.

-Hey Jimmy? What’s that on my table. As she pointed her finger, to the mixture big bunch of flowers, with a disgust look.

-Oh, it’s from Mr Bao. He put it there just before you came in, he said you liked colorful flowers. Jimmy replied to Wei Wei.

Wei Wei hesitantly walked to her table, while mumble to herself. “I liked colorful flowers, but not this much!”. Jimmy smiled, shook this head and walked away. At the whole newspaper station all knew that Mr Bao, there executive manager, had been trying to woo Wei Wei, since long long time..

Wei Wei, put her big bag down under her table, and frustratingly looked at the vase, as she picked it up, the dammed thing was so big, it’s block all her view. “Gosh this is ridiculous!” She thought, finally she putted the vase on up on of the top self, on the table. Suddenly Jane on the other side yelled out.

-Hey, Wei Wei, you’re blocking my view…She complained.

-Well, tell that to Mr Bao, not me! If I can throw it in the bin, I would. Wei Wei looked over to Jane, asking for her sympathy. Jan shook her head, frowned and returned back to her work.

Finally Wei Wei, was able to sit down on her table. She thought of it carefuly, and just to make sure she will get out of it, she picked up her the phone and dial Xiao Wei’s number.

-Xiao Wei, can you ring me back after 10 minutes? Wei Wei whispered as she make sure no one was looking at her.

-Why? Xiao Wei asked out from the other line.

-I tell you later, just remember to ring me..okey, and don’t care what ever I’ll say to you..

And then Wei Wei handed up the phone. She began to pulled out her laptop and start typing in the stories that she been researching. Not long later, a man came over and stand beside her desk. He tried to smile sweetly.

-Wei Wei! Happy birthday! Mr Bao said, an middle aged man..

Wei Wei got a little shock, from the distracted on her concentration. She turned and looked at him, pushing hard for a smile in return.

-Hi, thank you!…She replied unwilling.

-Do you like to flowers. Mr Bao asked as his eyes wonder around to look for the vase, he relief when looking at it on the top shelf.

-Um…it nice…but next time, you don’t have too. See Jane was complaining that it’s blocking her view…Wei Wei spoke out, as she wish the man would get her points…

-Oh, okey I’ll get a smaller one next time…Do you have any plan tonight? Ask Mr Bao as he been planning for months to be with Wei Wei on her birthday night..

-Tonight! She said in shock as she glanced at the phone, “Xiao Wei, where are you?” She yelled, in her head. By then suddenly, Ring…Ring…

Mr Bao paused unhappily as he just been distracted, while Wei Wei sighed inward, and quickly lead over to grabbed the phone.

- Hello! Wei Wei answered
- “Jie Jie” The other line replied.
- Xiao Wei
- “Hi, can you tell mother and father that I’ll be home
late”
- So you booked the table already?
- “Alec going to take me to dinner!”
- At Five o’clock, why so soon?
- “And I might be home a little late!”
- Okay, so auntie coming to!
- “But you have to wait for me to come home, Okay!”
- Okay! I’ll be there after work to pick you up!
- “Promised, I won’t take any later then eleven!”
- Okay! Deal. Wait for me…
- “Great! See you tonight.”
- Okay, see you tonight, bye..!

By that Wei Wei hanged up the phone, we turn around to see Mr Bao had a big long face on him, looking with full disappointment at her.

-Sorry Mr Bao, Wei Wei pretended to feel sorry…You heard it all! Our family going to gather up for our birthday tonight! Wei Wei said slowly, hoping the phone call before did tricked him!

-How about tomo…As Mr Bao was saying, but Wei Wei quickly jumped in.

-Um..how about another day, that’s be fine…She then pretend to looked at her watch.. Ooops, I got an appointment, for one of my story, got to go now…Bye..see you later…and thanks for the flowers, but really you don’t have to do it…As Wei Wei rushed to packed up her things, she quickly put on her files bag and her camera, as no waiting for Mr Bao to have a chance to replied, she dashed out the door as soon as possible. Only stopped at Jimmy (the organizer) desk, to drop off her works for tomorrow, which luckily she completed it last night. She waved a final good bye, and flew out the door. She did had an appointment, only with the dentist, another hours later. That’s what good about being a reporter, there are no strict timetable. Only she completed the tasks that you received on the right time to be published, you’ll be fine.

Chapter 3

She slowly kneeled down, to talk with the little girl.

-Xiao Ying. You’re still here?

-Ms Wei. My parents haven’t arrived…I’m scared. The little girl spoke, looking nervously at Xiao Wei. Upon seeing that, Xiao Wei gave out her warmest smile and patched on her head gently.

-Don’t worry I’ll stay here and wait with you. Okay!

Xiao Ying nodded, but immediately after that, they heard a car horn. And Xiao Ying broke out to smile, as she ran over to her parent’s car. Leaving Xiao Wei stood still watching, that what she loved about kids, they so naïve, and careless, similar to her.

Just then, Xiao Wei jumped as she felt a hand patched on her shoulder from behind. She turned around.

-Excuse me Ms Wei. I’m scared, seen my girlfriend did not pay any attention on me! Alec put up a pretended frowning face. As he been arrived there a while ago, but Xiao Wei was too busy approached on her students, instead of noticing him.

Xiao Wei, chuckled, upon her boyfriend’s silliness.

-Oh? Sorry sir that’s I can’t help you…I think you better look for her. Xiao Wei cheekily replied the joke on Alec, and she turned around, to walk inside. But Alec grabbed her arms back.

-But I already found her…The best-looking kinder garden teacher. Alec placed her arms around his back, so she could step closer…Happy birthday, Sweetie! He whispered to her…

Xiao Wei immediately softened in his arms, then they soon, left together for what promising to be one of the most memorable night.

Since it was too early till dinner, so Alec took Xiao Wei to the Royal Park. Her most favored place to relax. They strolled slowly hand in hand, watching the beautiful flowers, blossoming for Spring. After half of the tour, they went and sat down on the stone seat in a middle of the yard, beside the tiny lake.

-Humh…time flies so fast, it’s another year already. Said Xiao Wei, as relaxed in Alec arms.

-That’s right, that’s why we should not waist any moment of it..! Alec relied softly to her..

-You know what, as she broke out from his embrace, her eyes sparkled when he began to tell a story. Jie Jie, dumped her dated for tonight.

Alec Smile carelessly on the news as he puffed.

-Really, that’s guy must be very lucky today. I wonder who would be that blinded to go for her.

-Stopped talk bad about my sister. Xiao Wei grinned but still punched on Alec chest, one time. And she continued. It’s very strange that the two of you don’t get on with each other. I mean Jie Jie and I shared almost everything in our attached life. Even if our interests were different, but we willing to learn it just for each other shake. Humm..Xiao Wei frowned, as she leaded back on Alec’s body. Wonder why she doesn’t like you, when I loved you…She murmured while rubbing on her chin, with deep thought.

-What are you up to now! Isn’t it good that you guys referred different types of people. As Alec looked down, trying to get his girlfriend out of her deja vu stage.

Xiao Wei giggles by his side, as she felt funny upon Alec was always tried to change the topic when it came to Wei Wei. She nodded understandingly. As they both dropped closer to their embrace, while facing at the peaceful lake view in front of them, with swans swimming, birds flying. It was the best moment to be together..

People by-passed sometime, would paused and admired for the young loved birds, and walked off, feeling a tingling feeling inside of them too.

Wei Wei finally managed to shut down her laptop, as she glance happily at her newly completed report. She rubbed her eyes tiredly before having another proof read at the print out.

Since she got in to University in the journalism course. She had made a promised to herself, that’s one day she will clamed the title of the most outstanding female news-reporter of the whole state, Melbourne, and maybe moved to the whole country Australia.

That why, she always pushed extra pressured on herself to do more research, to finished the work before the dead line, and to rewrite until it meet the prefect stage of her standard. So her day, mostly consumed around works, and works.

Even if it was her birthday, still no exception for not to work. Last year at the 21st birthday, the Zhao had throw one of the biggest birthdays for the twins. So this year, both Wei asked for a time to be alone. So in the morning the received the present from their parent. By night, Xiao Wei gone out with Alec, while Wei Wei referred to finish her works.

She slowly put always her things and cleared the desk, she turned off the white lamp, at the same moment, Xiao Wei, pushed to door and went in.

-Jie Jie! I’m back…Xiao Wei greet her sister in her normal active tone.

-Great! I was about to felt as sleep! Wei Wei teased her sister.

-Come…come to the bed…As Xiao Wei waved out for her sister to come closer, and she bent down to open the small box underneath the table, separating their beds.

Inside the table, she picked up a small pot of paper white roses, very carefully decorated with the most beautiful smell spreading out.

-Wow!! It’s beautiful. Wei Wei was amazed, as she held at her present from Xiao Wei. She put the roses under her nose and began to breathe in to absorb the nice smell.

-Here I also brought the extra perfumed. Keeping putting one drop on the rose everyday, and the smell will last long.

Wei Wei, put the pot down on her bed, and walked fast to her dressing table, she pulled out the first draw, and grabbed out a beautiful, and big seashell, with the most unusually mixed colors. Around the shell tied a yellow ribbon, which brought in the elegant looked for the special thing..

-Jie Jie, where did you found this…Asked Xiao Wei excitingly, as she ran up to picked up the shell.

-I found it on the beach, a few weeks ago. I thought it looked very nice, I never found a shell as beautiful as this…Exclaim Wei Wei. And come on..Wei Wei grabbed back the shell from Xiao Wei’s hand, and put the under-part of it to her sister ear….Listen..She said..

Xiao Wei closed her eyes, listened to the sound of waves, that most of the big shell by the beach would have. But this one to her was more special.

-uh-huh! I can hear it…As Xiao Wei leaded over and the two hugged tied, and kissed back her sister.

That what happened at the girl birthday, they exchange gifts of what they like, so the other can get a taste out of it as well.

-Jie Jie, do you know what Alec gave to me? Xiao Wei happily turned and asked, when she and Wei Wei have settled in their bed.

Wei Wei turned to lied on her side, looking at Xiao Wei, doubtfully.

-Do I have to know? She asked back reluctantly. Cause truly she didn’t want to have anything to do with it.

-Well, I would appreciated if you listen. Xiao Wei, put up a begging smile as she right to persuade her sister..

-All right!…Wei Wei finally gave up unwilling…But make it quick, she remind..

Xiao Wei cried out with joy, as she moved in closer to her sister, and whispered.

-Alec said, if he succeed in the Art Competition this year. He will marry me..And I said yes? As Xiao Wei couldn’t stop showing the big grinned on her face.

Wei Wei, on the other hand, she rolled her eyes, around in disbelieved “What a non-sense. If he win the competition then he will marry my sister..What an pathetic excuse?” Wei Wei thought in her mind. She had never trusted Alec before, or trusted any men before. But looking at Xiao Wei so pleased with the news, she couldn’t have the heart to break in of her sister cheerfulness.

-Jie Jie, what if I get marry, then you should too! Xiao Wei turned back her attention, and grabbed Wei Wei hand.

-What? Wei Wei yelled, but not too loud. No, I will not marry until I get that title…she said strongly

-Aiyah..you so much like Alec..always have to put pressure on yourself to achieved is, and win that…But everything is just illusion. Happiness, is the most important thing…Xiao Wei spoke out.
One big major different between the twins was, Xiao Wei always seen to be more relax, and enjoying life, while Wei Wei, never fully happy to herself.

Wei Wei stroked on her sister long hair, she looked tenderly and explained,

-Everyone, is different, even if we shared the same looks, but we are still too completely different people inside. You have your way in enjoying life. I have my way in making succeed. Nothing is really wrong, and nothing is truly right!

Xiao Wei, just but up a big face, suddenly her eyes turned to mischief, as she put her hand on her cheek thinking aloud.

-Would it be nice..if we married the same husband? But Wei Wei, quickly slapped Xiao Wei’s hand off..

-What non-sense…First of all. That artist, and me never. And most importantly, love can’t be shared within three, This is the 21st century… Wei Wei, felt tied as her sister childish. All day she just been playing, that’s why her mind wondered a lot..

-Well, I can share with you…Xiao Wei cried innocently, as truly in her heart, she could do anything for her beloved sister.

Wei Wei, had to thanks, for the kindness of her sister, she knew exactly what Xiao Wei, meant, but quickly they passed on to another subject, and for a little while later. The light was off, and the two wrapped in their blanket, tightly to their sleep.

Chapter 4

They giggled to themselves, upon realizing who was those vases belong to.

-See I told you our girls had grow up, they have other people to look after them. We don’t need to worry. Mr Zhao said, while holding his wife in his arms.

Mrs Zhao grinned to her husband, and she slowly hugged him back. As the treasure moment of passion, they both paused, noticing somebody was giggling behind them.

-Mother..Wei Wei called out cheekily to distracted her parents.

-Father..Xiao Wei joined in as both of then chuckled hard together, just to teased their parent

-What are you girls, laughing at…I got something to ask you. As Mrs Zhao pushed her husband away, and twist the subject to her daughters…The vases on the table, who are they belong too. She asked, giving both girls a searched.

-Humh? Their us, our presents!! Xiao Wei replied happily.

-I can tell the white roses is from Alec, but I wonder who was the mixed one, Wei Wei? Mr Zhao asked as he put on a teasing smile to his elder daughter.

Wei Wei turned to make her way to the door to hide her blushing from her parent, as she quickly relied.

-It’s from someone, I don’t even want to know…Bye-Bye I’m going to work, Xiao Wei are you coming.

-Sure, I’ll be with you! Xiao Wei called out to her sister, as she mischievously whispered to her parent…Jie Jie.. dumped her dated yesterday.

The parents gave out a frowning face, as their hope to find Wei Wei with a relationship had gone.

Three months later, everything was going peacefully and smoothly.

Wei Wei, sat in her table for hours, writing up her latest topic. Just then Jimmy came over and knocked on her table. She looked up, while putting a piece of snack in her mouth.

-Wei Wei, the final draft pleased. Jimmy said out in that funny tone of his, putting out the hand to Wei Wei.

She smiled upon his cheekiness, she quickly grabbed out one file lying, under the big chunk of information books, and gave to Jimmy.

-There, sorry I forgot…She relied

Jimmy took the file, and glanced over to what Wei Wei was writing.

-Wow, you’re writing on the Parson story already?..But it was not due to publish until middle of this month. Jimmy asked in surprised as he read out the big topic on Wei Wei’s heading.

-I known, its just that I had the information with me now, so may as well, writing it up..Wei Wei relied, while still kept her concentration on the work.

-Come on, gives yourself some lacks. Jimmy shook his head and walked away. As in the whole Station of the ‘Morning Herald’, Wei Wei was most popular, for hard working.

At the front desk of ‘Morning Herald’, Xiao Wei pushed the door in, and came over to the reception table. The receptionist suddenly stared at her in surprised, as she tried to recognize the person in front of her.

-Excuse me, is miss Zhao Wei be in pleased. Xiao Wei asked, hitting her long hair to the back, and smiled sweetly to the lady.

-You are…the lady humbled as the person who asked for Wei Wei, happened to looked exactly liked her.

-Oh! I’m her sister! Xiao Wei replied.

-Oh, you’re Wei Wei’s twin sister. As the lady cried with relief as her wondered had been answered. Xiao Wei smiled and nodded.

Then the lady quickly checked the roster, since Wei Wei had not signed out yet, so the lady pointed for Xiao Wei to walk right in.

Xiao Wei, pushed the door and went in the main office. While walking she could felt people staring and pointing at her. Xiao Wei doesn’t usually came in Wei Wei’s work place, but every time she dropped by, she would get the same reaction from everyone.

-Jie Jie..Xiao Wei called out excitedly, standing in front of Wei Wei desk.

-Eh? Xiao Wei, what are you doing here? Wei Wei looked up at her sister with surprised, but she also noticed all the other people around were staring at them.

-You’re free, can we go shopping? Xiao Wei asked her sister, cause suddenly she felt like a break from Alec, and wanted to spend time with her sister.

Wei Wei, looked at the works load on her table, but finally nodded. So she stood up, and quickly packed up her works, put some in her bag, and the two sister walked out of the office side by side.

-Jie Jie, came here, I think this suit you. Xiao Wei waved out for Wei Wei to come over, as she attached a beautiful pink color top on Wei Wei body.

Wei Wei took the top, while looking strangely at Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei, are you alright? She began to ask.. Why you suddenly so careful.

Xiao Wei just smiled innocently, as thought it was a joke from her sister.

-Why? I can’t care for my own sister…She replied looking at the top…Great it’s suit you, let get it…Then she pulled Wei Wei come with her over to the counter, as she laid the top on the table and said to the seller.

-I’ll take this, Thanks… she called out. The lady looked up to her customer, but her eyes soon froze looking at the beautiful identical girls in front of them..

-Oh! Okay! The lady replied in puzzled, while her eyes still attached on the twins.

Xiao Wei broke out into laughter, on seeing the reaction.

-We’re twins. She said hugging on Wei Wei.

-Yeah, identical! Wei Wei joined in, and together the two smiled brightly as the lady stand still in wondered who didn’t know what to say!!

As they walked out of the shop, each carried a few bags on their hand. Xiao Wei, suddenly paused for another suggestion.

-Jie Jie, it’s been so long, since we took our last photo together. Since we just brought new clothes, why don’t we take it to the studio now..

-What, you want to take pictures now.. Wei Wei asked back in shocked. There really was something different with Xiao Wei today.

-Sure, why not, let’s go to the studio now, and then we go to the supermarket. Xiao Wei slowly planned their trip, as she curved her arm, around Wei Wei’s arm.

-What, why should we go to the supermarket? Another shock from Wei Wei.

-Silly, we’re cooking dinner tonight! Xiao Wei cheekily smiled and pushed hard her sister to move forward. Wei Wei had no choice but to hesitantly followed her careless sister.

The two Wei, went for a sudden photo session, luckily the studio was quiet, so they got in. After that Xiao Wei gave the received to Wei Wei, for her to picked up the photos in 3 days. And then, both turned their way to the supermarket.

That night, the Zhao family had a most wonderfully dinner, as it was once in a full moon, that the two Wei princesses decided to go in the kitchen, and cooked a completed dinner.

Everyone sat around together, chatting happily enjoyed their meals. After dinner was done, as the girls also stayed back to do the dishes, left their parent a free night.

When they got the chance to rest, Wei Wei tiredly relaxed herself on the chair, in the bedroom. After a long day, with so many extra things to do, just because Xiao Wei felt like it. Now she felt very sleepy.

-What time will you be home tomorrow, Jie Jie? Xiao Wei turned from her dressing table to look at Wei Wei.

-I don’t know, maybe late, cause I have an interview. Wei Wei softly replied…Why are you asking that?

-Oh, I just wanted to know, incase I like to contact you. Xiao Wei replied, turning back to her dressing table, to check her image in the mirror.

-Well, if you need me? Bring on the mobile, I’ll leave it on. Okay! With that Wei Wei, slowly stood up, to grabbed her clothes and walked to the bathroom for the shower, thinking after the refreshment, she could came back with her works. But instead, Xiao Wei immediately pulled her to the bed, after Wei Wei just got out of the shower. And they chat on for hours, like it was their first time sharing a room together.

Chapter 5

With the normal usual habits, they went passed the Royal Garden, before settle down for the meal.

-Alec, come here? I brought this for you? As Xiao Wei pulled Alec to sit down on a stone seat near by, while she pulled out a black leather jacket which was in a plastic bag that Xiao Wei been holding.

-Wow, you brought this for me? Asked Alec in surprised, but he was happy looking down at his new jacket.

Xiao Wei nodded, as she while observing the fit ness of the jacket on Alec body. She was please with her judging, as it was his right size.

-Ah? I was right, it’s fitted you. Okay, take this home, and make sure you wear it okay! Xiao Wei, started to fold the jacket back in the bag, given it to Alec why joked at him.

He held her hand tenderly, and excepted the gift.

-Don’t worries, sweetie! I will wear it with me, everywhere? Alec replied.

-Everywhere? Xiao Wei asked him back with a mischief look on her face.

-Yes, everywhere, when I go out, when I’m painting, when I sleep….Alec was about to continued on and one, but Xiao Wei, put her hand up to stopped at his lips, while she grinned happily to his joked, and nestled in his arms.

-You’re silly, away tried to make fun of me! As the two lover enjoyed each other company, as the sat together observing the peacefully view around them.

Suddenly Xiao Wei looked up, with a serious voice, she asked.

-Alec, no matter what happen, you have to succeed in the Art Competition, Okay?

Alec smiled, upon her courage, as he pushed her to lay back in his arms.

-Don’t worry I’ll succeed for us to be together? He said softly, while kissing in her long smooth hair.

-But if, I’m not here, you’ll still have to followed, don’t give up? Xiao Wei replied, asking a promised from Alec.

He looked down strangely as her expression, then looking into her eyes he said.

-If you not here, I wouldn’t want to do anything…As he stretched his arms, to held her tighter in his embrace.

Xiao Wei lay still softly, as she wrapped her arms on his neck.

-No, promised me, no matter what, you will moved on. Okay!!

Alec looked down as Xiao Wei desperate expression. He wasn’t sure what she trying to say, but to make her happy for now, he agreed and nodded to it..

-Yes, I promised…Suddenly with that, Xiao Wei jumped up with joy, as she returned to her careless paste and pulled Alec to stand up on his feet.

-Okay! That’s good, come on, let’s make a move for it…

Alec smiling with relief as he found his Xiao Wei had gone back to her cheerful stage, and together they made their way out of the Garden ground.

Not far from the Royal Garden, was the biggest State Bank, of Victoria. And a robbery just happened in the bank, as the bandit four men, ran out with big bags of money on their hand, but since they jumped in their car, they could hear the police coming after them. So with no choice they took the short cut, running the car by the walking path, as there will be people to distract on the police tracks.

Xiao Wei, walking hand in hand with Alec, enjoying the nice sunset view, as they passing a walk lane, a little boy suddenly came running out chasing after his ball. Xiao Wei pushed Alec, into helped the little kids, as Alec followed, came over to pick up the colorful ball and gave it to the little boy.

But was either of them. Noticed that an escaping car, were running in a deadly speed, toward them. Xiao Wei was shocked on seeing the view. People at far away would start yelling. But Alec and the boy was playing together, as they never realized on a walking path, there would be a car running in such a rush.

There no time left to think she had to do something before its too late. So she yelled out for him to get away, and also ran over to push Alec, whom was holding the boy on his arms to the other side.

Alec finally spotted the car, and the dangers zone that he was in. With Xiao Wei was yelling behind him, he quickly picked up the little boy, as was about to made the run to the other side. As the car came closer and closer, Alec was struggled on his feet, when he felt a certain force pushed behind his back and he together with the boy, he stumbled to the other side of the path. As he put the boy down, to turned around to see what happened. His faced turn completely white, as facing with the most horror and fearful shock he never been encounter before.

In the middle of the path, stood Xiao Wei, after she ran out to give Alec the pushed. But it was too late for her to escaped from the car thundering speed, striking straight into her body. Xiao Wei got hit hard, as her body fell on the front of the car, but with the wind force from the fast car. Her body spans up to the top, and rolled stumbling down off the car, and bang hard on the ground. As Alec gave a horrible cried for her name, and ran like hell to pick up Xiao Wei in his arms.

The hitting was more or less had shocked the robber gang, as they slower their paced down. On the right time of the arrival from another police car, stopped suddenly on the other road blocking their ways to exit. People in the park began to poured out to view the traumatic scene, as the robbers all been caught, and the ambulance was been called for emergency.

“Xiao Wei, please don’t leave it, don’t leave” That was all Alec could think of to whispered to Xiao Wei, as she laid unconscious in his arms. It’s seem to be impossible, a goods ten minutes ago, she was still a funny lovely, cheerful Xiao Wei, beside him. And now she was just a lifeless body, with red blood, covering her part of her face, her body, wetted her hair and his shirt.

Five minutes later, the ambulance came, and the emergency force, quickly collect Xiao Wei in the bed, and drove off to the nearest hospital. Alec was in the van beside Xiao Wei, telling her courage to hold on, and to survived.

As the elevator stopped at the emergency level, the door opened, Wei Wei, ran right out toward her parent, who were sitting depressing on the waiting area. She was in the middle of her interview, when her mobile rang, as her father spoke out the horrified news. Wei Wei, immediately left for the hospital.

-Father, is Xiao Wei okay? She rushing to the question as putting down her bag and camera on the ground sitting on the other side of her mother.

-She’s been in the emergency room, nearly one hour…Mr Zhao replied, as the thought of Xiao Wei’s life was hanging from the piece of string, Mrs Zhao cried out loud, as she laid in her husband arms.

-Mother, please stayed clam, I’m sure Xiao Wei will be alright. As Wei Wei patched her mother for comforted. But in her mind she wasn’t sure what will happened, all she can do is to tell Xiao Wei from her soul “Please pull through, Xiao Wei, please pull through!”

But then, Wei Wei, sharply glanced over Alec, as he been standing froze on the other side staring at the Emergency door. She stumbled her way over, and grabbed hard on his shirt collar.

-How could you? How could you, let she in danger. I told you to look after her…As Wei Wei yelling out from her violent anger, thinking when Xiao Wei was hit, where on earth could Alec had been.

She then kept shaking him, hitting all over his body, as she felt there was nothing else she can do, she mind slowly shuttled with darkness, as tears swelling up in her eyes.

-You such a useless man, I should have not let my sister to be with you from the start. Wei Wei spoke out, feeling the most devastated lost in her soul. As she pushed hard Alec away, slamming his body to the wall.

Alec had no replied as he felt he deserved a lot of punishment more then that. As Wei Wei been pulled away by her father, Alec dropped himself to sit down on the group, leading against the wall.

Suddenly the emergency light turned off, as the door opened and he doctor walked out.

The Zhao family all came over to find out the news. But after they finish the first question. They were all shocked by the doctor replied.

As Mrs Zhao cried her heart out, in her husband arms. Mr Zhao almost couldn’t hold back his tears, as he held his wife for comforted.

Wei Wei, lost her balance as she stepped back to lead on the wall for support. Sadness over came her mind, which shut down all the muscle and nerves systems in her body.

For Alec, was still in his sitting position. Feeling his own life had also came to an end, as his soul, his spirit just left, leaving a dead body, sitting on the ground.

Everybody sobered, everybody in grief, was they farewell, to there beloved daughter, sister and loved.

Chapter 6

Lest than a week later, Xiao Wei’s funeral was organized. It was the saddest moment that the Zhao family had when through. For a while, everyone sobered in sorrow and grief, that brought them to the lowest stage that they ever felt.

But to the future, they held on each other to passed through, and stand up for a normal life.

Wei Wei took the whole week off from working at the office, since she wanted to comfort her mother at home. Today was her first day back at work. Everybody all heard of the accident, as the Zhao family had been famous because of it. On the news, said Xiao Wei, was a heroine, who helped the police to catch the robber gang..

Wei Wei, pushed the door to her office, trying to grab her normal pace back, as she put her bag on the table, and tiredly slammed her body down the chair. She was still trying to get use to living without her other half.

-Wei Wei, are you alright? Asked Mr Bao, as he approached to comfort Wei Wei, on seeing her arriving back to work.

-Huh?..Oh, No, I’m fine thanks!! Wei Wei sat up and replied, confidently to Mr Bao, so at least he would have no reason to bother her.

Mr Bao nodded in replied, he believed Wei Wei was a strong girl and she can pull through it with her own strength. Then he turned for a tender smile, but Wei Wei was not in the mood to noticed it, as she was more attracted in the new file that Mr Bao put out to her.

-Wei Wei, since you’re just back, so I saved this easy task for you! Another month will be the Major Art Competition of Australia, which held in Melbourne. Here are the least of names of the people going to be enter, so you can contact with them, do a quick search on what their works going to be, and prepare for a Introduction page one week before the Competition start. As Mr Bao carefully, yet very detailed set the task to Wei Wei, he personally felt this was an too easy task for Wei Wei, but may be it’ll help her to relax.

-Thanks, I’ll get on to it…Wei Wei replied, while took over the paper..

-Don’t worry, take it slowly. Okay!! Then Mr Bao decided to turn back to his room, since there was no point in standing there.

Even know it was not as urgent like her normal works, but Wei Wei just like to load her head with works as soon as possible, that’s the only way she could recharged her energy. As she opened the file, and had a glance through the list of name of people participating…And there a name stood out among the other.. ‘Alec Su’

Immediately then, a flashback of Xiao Wei words, appeared in her mind

“-Alec said, if he succeed in the Art Competition this year. He will marry me..And I said yes? As Xiao Wei couldn’t stop showing the big grinned on her face.”
But now Xiao Wei will never had the chance to become the bride.

After, a full day with works. Wei Wei dropped by the photo shop, to pick up the picture of her and Xiao Wei, took just one day before the accident. It was like Xiao Wei was aware that she will have to go early, that’s why she prepare for everything. Wei Wei, had developed double from the negative, as she planned to sent some for Xiao Wei.

On the way to the cemetery, she stopped by to grab some white roses, Xiao Wei’s favored flower, and drove off to met her sister.

Wei Wei was walking reluctantly from the car-park to Xiao Wei, newly build stone grave. But as she was a distance away from it. She paused, observing the view at Xiao Wei’s grave.

Everywhere were covers with beds of white roses, just white roses everywhere. And leading back to the named stone, was a lifeless Alec’s Su, holding a heavy drink on his hand, lying around him were empty bottles. He was just sitting there, carelessly, pouring the drink in his mouth and all over his body. Without any word, but it shown that he was going through the most remorse pain ever.

“That stupid guy, I can’t believe he is so loyal to Xiao Wei, wonder why I doubted on his love for Xiao Wei before!” As Wei Wei frowned to herself, regretting that she had misjudged on Alec his love for Xiao Wei.

But then a human force encouraged her, she slowly walked toward. As she laid her stuffs on the grave, while looking down at Alec. He didn’t notice that there was another person beside him.

-Alec? Wei Wei kneeled down and shake Alec shoulder, so he could open his eyes and regain his conscious to see her.

But he didn’t move. She can tell that he was awake, but he just didn’t want to face anybody right now.

-Alec? Why are you here? Wei Wei continued, realizing it was the first time she softened her voice when talking to him. She felt uncomfortable, but Alec gave an immediately response when recognizing of a familiar voice.

-Xiao Wei? He cried, trying to clear out the blurry image of the person who was talking to him. She looked like Xiao Wei, she sounded like Xiao Wei, but…is she?

-No, I’m Wei Wei. She exclaimed quickly. But on a hearing it was not Xiao Wei, Alec dropped back to his old self. His stubborn reaction somehow turned on Wei Wei anger inside her.

As she use all her strength to tried and pull him up.

-Come on, get up! Look at yourself, how can you bring yourself like this in front of Xiao Wei! Wei Wei raised her voice, hoping its could awake some nerve in he senseless guy.

Alec, reluctantly got up, but he swung Wei Wei’s arms away quickly, as he struggled to stand still on his feet.

-I don’t care, I just want Xiao Wei back…I just need her back….He began to cried, and about to pour the last bottle back in his month, but Wei Wei quickly grabbed the bottle away, as Alec straggled to take back the bottle but couldn’t.

-Stop this, what do you think, you’re doing? Xiao Wei had passed away, and you can’t even leave my sister go with peace…Wei Wei yelled out at Alec, while pouring the rest of the drink on the ground.

Alec, quickly jumped over to stop her, as he grabbed back the already emptied bottle, put it on his mouth, but there wasn’t a single drop left. He devastated threw the bottle away, and began stumbling walked away. Leaving Wei Wei yelling out with furious.

-Wah? Where are you going now? Wah? …But he didn’t bother to look back. She shook her head and sighed upon the irritated person. For a few moments later, she turned back to her intention on coming to visit Xiao Wei.

She took the roses out and blended in together with other roses already were there. Then she held out the extra photo that she developed, with a prepared lighter, she started to burn the picture. As a believed, by doing that, then the pictures could reach to the passed away person, in the below world.

One week passed the accident, but Alec wouldn’t do anything. Most of his time, spending beside Xiao Wei gravestone, or hiding in his dark room, and drinking…

Being an orphan, he only relied on Xiao Wei love, to live up to life. But now, in one day everything just collapsed, and buried together with Xiao Wei under the ground.

Wearing the leather jacket that she had brought for him. He could here her words, asking him to promise to be strong. But until now he realized, he never going to have any strength, or power to be strong without Xiao Wei beside him. So more and more he destroying himself..

At one dark corner of the room, a white pale shadow watched Alec sadly. For a moment, and then its quickly turned away, disappeared through the thick wall.

Chapter 7

-“Jie Jie, Jie Jie”

Suddenly a soft voice whispered, as Wei Wei felt her skin turned to goose-bump. She tried to tell herself it was her imagination, and there was no one else in the room. But….

-“Jie Jie, wake up, it’s me”

That voice, sound so soft, so familiar… “Xiao Wei” Wei Wei thought in her mind, but it’s couldn’t be, in such a frustrated moment, Wei Wei had no control over her action, as she let out the name in frighten.

-Xiao Wei? She said, as if she was crazy talking to the darkness.

-“Don’t you recognized me!” The soft voice replied, as Wei Wei jumped in shock with fear..

“It’s Xiao Wei, no, it’s her ghost, why would she be talking to me, she’s dead!” Thought Wei Wei, feeling her teeth began to tremble, as she gathered her shaking body in a bun on one side of the bed, sitting fearfully with her eyes closed, don’t know what to say, or ask?

-“Come on, you’re not affair of me are you? Don’t even trust your own twin sister! I can’t hurt you” The soft voice continued on.

As Wei Wei, lost her nerve to replied, but slowly she said…

-Xiao Wei….But….You’re…all…ready…dead.

-“I know but I’m still with you, Jie Jie, come on look at me…I’m still the same” As the soft voice tried to push Wei Wei to have more courage..

“She’s right! It’s my sister, even if she a ghost or what ever, Why should I be scare!”

On the thought to settle her fear, Wei Wei nervously opened her eye, but everywhere was darkness.

-I can’t see you…Wei Wei called out, wondering if Xiao Wei was really there.

-“Look closely, in your heart, and then your mind will see me” The soft voice replied back.

As Wei Wei blinked her eye a few times.. “Xiao Wei, where are you, Xiao Wei, I want to see you” Wei Wei kept repeating in her mind, in just a few moment later, beside her bed, she slowly recognized a soft figure, standing near by the window. The moonlight shown through the face, as Wei Wei cried with joy.

-Xiao Wei…I see you now..oh…It’s really you…On seeing her sister looked perfectly normal, Wei Wei quickly crawled to the other end, so she can give Xiao Wei a big hug, but as she approached closer to Xiao Wei, her hand went through Xiao Wei body, as if it was clear air only.

-“You can’t touch me, I’m just a spirit, I don’t exist” Xiao Wei exclaimed to her sister.

-But why I can see you and hear you? Wei Wei asked with all the disappointment she could feel. The moment she can see Xiao Wei, there was no more fear left in her, only the urged to hold on to her sister for one more time, but she couldn’t.

-“You can hear me and see me, cause we connect in certain way! That why I can talk with you” Xiao Wei replied, with her soft smile.

Wei Wei leaned back on the bed, as all the excitement as past, she pithily looked up at Xiao Wei.

-Poor thing, I can’t believed you’re..

-“I’m dead!” Xiao Wei cut in.. “And I’m not blaming or feel sorry for it, It’s just I had a concern.” She tried to looked at her sister, as Wei Wei, relied back in full confident.

-“Don’t worry, mother and father will be fine, me too. So you can go with ease. Wei Wei replied to comfort her sister, thinking Xiao Wei might be worry for the family.

-“No! I known the family is fine, father and mother still have you, and you are very strong. I can see that, but what I worry was for him”..Xiao Wei sadly let out.

-Who? Alec? As it’s remind Wei Wei of the grumpy drunken man that she saw this evening beside Xiao Wei grave, thinking her sister does have a point to worry about.

-“Yes, You know, Alec doesn’t have anybody to look after him, without me, he been going very bad.” Xiao Wei exclaimed.

-I known what you mean. Wei Wei looked down and frown for her sister worry, but it was nothing she can help, but an idea popped up in her head, then she turned to Xiao Wei….Why don’t you come and see him? Just like you’re seeing me right now?

Wei Wei were brighten upon her good idea, but the reply from Xiao Wei, was not what she expected it to be.

-“I wish…Not everyone can see me, only you, because we shared certain part with each other, even mother and father can’t see me…” Xiao Wei cried.

-What? Wei Wei jumped out with shock….You mean only me can see you, no one else can..like even if there was another person in this room right now, they would not be able to see you, like I am?

Xiao Wei nodded to her sister, who was amazed.

-Now, you’re scare me! Wei Wei replied, thinking would this turn her into an insane person.

-Come on, would it be good if we can still be able to talk to each other..

-Yes! Wei Wei answered hesitantly, even if people properly think her mad, but she get to see Xiao Wei again, so it was worth it!

-“Jie Jie, I got a favor that I like to ask you to help” Xiao Wei finally review her purpose on coming back to see Wei Wei.

-Yes..Wei Wei sat still waiting for the favor, which surely got something to do with her.

-“Do know, I have no worry for the family, but I have one more wish that I was not able to fulfill. If I done get it done, I’ll be leaving with full regret” Xiao Wei struggled trying hard to find a best words that described her shoes for Wei Wei to understand.

-But What? As Wei Wei urged on for the favor, it’s must be something important, or very hard to do, that why Xiao Wei kept dragging it on.

-“I want you to help me, and get Alec back on his feet”. Xiao Wei summaries her main idea, as she watched Wei Wei jumped out of bed to stand up in shock.

-What? How on earth am I suppose to help that stupid boyfriend of yours….

It’s almost midnight, but Alec had no willing to go home, as he wondered step by step around the old time favor place with Xiao Wei, the Royal Park.

Only in here that he can find all the memorable moments that they had shared together, through many years of wonderful relationship. But now, everything was still there, the lake, the trees, the flowers, but Xiao Wei had gone forever.

Alec frowned, as he dropped himself on to the usually stone seat that he and Xiao Wei had been, more memories came back, as he dropped the last bottle on the ground, and buried his face in his hand, cried out loud for his love to return.

Just then, a figure was walking toward him, Wei Wei dressed in Xiao Wei favor pink dress, as she came and sat next to Alec.

-Alec! Wei Wei said, but it’s really was Xiao Wei who speaking.

Alec looked up to the call, as his eye shine through with a ray of hope. Under the moonlight, he can see Xiao Wei, he really can see her. She dressed in her favor pink dress, sitting next to him, looking tenderly at him, the look that he been missing for so long.

-Xiao Wei? Alec whispered out in surprised, as he felt her hand slowly stroke on his hair and run down his cheek, a familiar touch that Xiao Wei usually did to him when she was alive.

-Is it, really you? He asked in amazed, thinking he could be dreaming.

Xiao Wei spirit which was inside Wei Wei body smiled, at him lovingly, as she push up his face, and slowly pressed her soft kiss on to his lips, it was a prove for him to see, it really was her.

Alec immediately attached to the kiss, as he quickly arouse his hand around her back to hold her closer and never let go. He thought he had lost everything, but in a sudden all came back to him, just like a dream.

-Alec, let’s go home… Xiao Wei spirit said as the kiss end. She used Wei Wei body, to lift Alec up from the seat, and together they went back to Alec house, where Xiao Wei spirit will make sure that he had a good rest, to prepare for a better tomorrow. It’s going to be hard on him, but with the help of her sister, she thinks she can do it.

It was 5 o’clock in the morning, when Wei Wei unlocked the front door and walked into the house. It was surely a long night, sharing the body with Xiao Wei, she never stayed quiet for that long, she never been close with Alec for that long, in fact she was never close to any man. Even it was Xiao Wei who kissed Alec, but she was there to feel it. Wondered whether she should feel annoy at her sister, making her going through things that she didn’t want to, or to feel sorry for a young couple whom devoted their love for each other so much, even now she had died, she still want to see him up and above.

-Wei Wei, why are you coming home so late? As Wei Wei paused on hearing her mother voice.

Mrs Zhao had been disrupted by the noise at the front door, so she quickly went out to have a look, surprisingly to see it was Wei Wei, dressed in Xiao Wei’s clothes.

-Um…I…Mother…I…went for a walk…Wei Wei replied with a silly explanation, she blamed herself for not thinking of a better one, but there was no other better excuses.

-A walk, at five o’clock in the morning…?? Mrs Zhao asked, wonder if she should be laughing for worrying for her daughter. Wei Wei been acting very strong since Xiao Wei pasted away, but is she really okay inside, or was she just tried to hide from her parent.

-Um..Yeah..Wei Wei tried to push for a smile, but after that was a big yawn, as she felt eye were shutting down on her….I’m tried, I better get some sleep, goodnight mother, as she quickly waved to Mrs Zhao and walked up stair to her room, because the longer she stayed back, the more confuse her mother going to get.

Once Wei Wei got in her room, she turned on the light, and walked over to take a look at herself in the mirror. She surely didn’t like the dress at all.

“How can Xiao Wei wear this kind of fluffy, uncomfortable clothes all the time?” Asked Wei Wei in her mind, she was always felt better in jeans, that why dress was never her choice.

-“Jie Jie, thank you”

As Wei Wei jumped in fright as she turned around to see Xiao Wei blurry image sitting on the bed.

-God! Are you going to do that with me all the time…! Wei Wei sighed, as she quickly change to her pajama and turned off the light. Somehow Xiao Wei appeared clearer in the dark.

-“Thank you for helping me and Alec” Xiao Wei said as she flow closer to her sister, who was ready for her late sleep.

-What ever! I got to sleep now? Wei Wei replied unnoticeably as she had her eyes closed.

-“Okay! I’ll leave you to rest, I’ll call you when its time for tomorrow!” Xiao Wei greeted good bye, with a mischievous smile.

-What? Wei Wei immediately sat up…there tomorrow. Don’t tell me that you keep using my body like that, to be with your stupid boyfriend! Wei Wei was crossed, as she will be totally object to that idea.

Xiao Wei laughed softly to her sister reaction, she aware that Wei Wei and Alec does not get on together to well, its would be fun to see the to enemies get closer.

-“No, ofcouse not, I can’t used your body forever. It’s harmful for both me and you…”

-So, what do you want to do then. Wei Wei asked back confusingly, but she sure Xiao Wei been planning for some trick of her own, and she will have to commit to it later.

-“I want you to help Alec, try to be more like me, when you with Alec, and help him through his this difficult time…I’ll be standing by to give you advised”. Xiao Wei cheekily reviewed her plan to her sister, who gone from surprised to totally shock.

-You’re must be kidding! She frowned aloud. Thinking what kind of mess will she be getting in later, spending time what a stupid guy when she can’t even take it just to look at his face.

But Xiao Wei kept nodding and nodding on, until she see Wei Wei nodded back.

Chapter 8

-Do you noticed anything strange with Wei Wei lately! She asked.

Mr Zhao looked up to his wife uncommon questions.

-No, She been very strong! As he slowly looked back to his newspaper. But Mrs Zhao couldn’t stop to go on.

-That’s what I mean, she been acting like she really strong, but in fact she must be surffering a lot inside, but she doesn’t wanted to let us know! Mr Zhao looked up at his wife furiously, wonder how can such idea got evolved

-What’s make you think that? Mr Zhao asked back, as he believed his wife was over concerned for her only daughter.

-This morning, I caught Wei Wei coming home at 5 o’clock in the morning, and she was dressed in Xiao Wei’s dress. I asked her what was wrong, she said she only went for a walk…Mrs Zhao moved closer to her husband, and retell the whole scene that she saw this morning.

Mr Zhao, then took a noticed, wondering if his wife does have a point, Wei Wei been showing no sign of depression, but was that mean she really fine? Cause Xiao Wei was not only her closest sister, they were twins, and they shared certain feelings that even their parent can’t tell. But as he was still in deep wonder for his daughter, he felt his wife laying his shoulder.

-What about we give her a trip, asked her to take a vacation…so she can relax…Mrs Zhao suggested, that what she came up with after all the searching for a way to help her daughter get over the pain of missing a half of herself.

Mr Zhao slowly nodded to the suggestion, as he left everything for his wife to deal with.

Wei Wei just signed out of her attention role, as she left her office early for lunch, thinking after she had eaten, she will make a few more appointments with some of the artist in the Competition, to continued on her new topic.

She grabbed a quick sandwich, and was on the way walking to her car, suddenly, a familiar voice called out for her.. “Jie Jie, Jie Jie”

-Xiao Wei!? Wei Wei muttered as she quickly turned around, to find her sister. But Xiao Wei was no where to be seen, only her voice can be heard.

-“Jie Jie, it’s me” Xiao Wei replied softly.

-Xiao Wei, I can’t see you! Wei Wei turned around in fury, noticing there were many other people on the street watching her, so she lower her voice, and pretended to keep walking, while her head kept listening to Xiao Wei.

-“You can’t see me in the day time, but I’m with you, where are you going” Xiao Wei’s voice asked

-I’m going to get some appointment for my research! Wei Wei whispered in the lowest tone that she could managed. To prevent people looking at her like in idiot talking to herself.

-“Alec, is one of the people too, Why don’t you go and see him”

-What! Wei Wei cried out, but she quickly bent down her head and moved faster, to get away of everyone attention.

As she got to the car-park where it was less people, she continued on with her invisible sister.

-I can’t just go and see him, I haven’t let him know…Wei Wei rebutted, as seeing Alec was not on of her intention right then. Xiao Wei may love him. But she still can’t forgive him of what he did to her in the 10th grade.

-“Aiyah! Don’t worry about appointment, I’ll be with you, come on!” Xiao Wei fight back, as she wanted to see how Alec had been since last night.

Wei Wei was yelling out with objection, but she felt a certain force pushing in her back to make she walked faster to her car. From then, she knew her own sister had take controlled over her.

Alec woke up fresh and bright in the morning, remembering of the long talk he had with Xiao Wei last night, and her last words. “Alec no matter whether I’m dead or alive, I still will always be with you. I will borrow Wei Wei body to be with you, Okay! But promise me, you will live for yourself.”

Since last night, since Alec realized that he was not alone, that Xiao Wei can still be with him. He had made up his mind to be strong, and to follow on with what he been doing, that is trying to win the Art Competition. But still now, he still not happy with what he had.

Alec had chosen one of Xiao Wei newly portrait to be send in, but somehow, it still looked very incomplete. To him, Xiao Wei portrait was the most beautiful piece of work there ever was, but that may not run the same way as what the judge’s thoughts.

So now, Alec walking around in his tidy room, trying to think off what addition he could make to the painting. Holding his brush on his hand, he stopped when there were knocks on the door.

-Xiao Wei. Alec cried with a big smile, on the first sight at Wei Wei.

-No..Wei Wei answered quickly to kick him off his dreaming stage.

-Oh…Alec frowned, as he took another careful look, and realized, it was not Xiao Wei. She didn’t dress like her, didn’t talk like her, it didn’t feel like her. It was Wei Wei….Come in, he finally said out, while opened the door wider for Wei Wei.

For the first time Wei Wei stepped into Alec’s tiny home, also was his messy study. There was paintings flooding around on the floor, papers, paints, and brushes, not to count in empty beer bottles. “Must be what left over before last night!” Wei Wei thought, suddenly a voice strikes through her again.

-“Jie Jie, please be nice to him!”

Wei Wei was about to open her mouth to talk when a quite reminder spoke out ahead of her.

-“Don’t talk to me, he’ll think you’re weird!”

“Just great!. I’m in a place where I don’t want to be, and I can’t even talk if I want to!” Wei Wei sighed to herself, as she turned around to bumped in Alec weird look staring at her.

Xiao Wei, was his loved. But her sister was his enemy. Since Xiao Wei still alive, they would never be able to blend in with each other. But from last night, Alec known that he will be seeing Wei Wei more than he wanted. But the confusion part was to work out which was the real Wei Wei and which was his Xiao Wei’s spirit. But at that moment Alec know for sure was just a full self snob and arrogant Wei Wei, as he wondered what she came there for…

-Do you want to sit down? He said, thinking he can’t be ice cold to her forever.

-Um…Wei Wei puzzled, as she viewed no sign of any chair to sit anywhere. But Alec slowly stepped over and cleared up a bundle of paper away, leaving back a room of a small stool. So Wei Wei squashed down on the little seat.

-I’m…she began…working on an article introducing the Art Competition in the City next month, and you were one in the list. She said while looking for pen and paper, together with her mini recorder from her bag.

-Oh? Alec signed “That what she came for, and I thought Xiao Wei asked her to come”..Yes, I’m participated in it..He answered..

Wei Wei about to speak out, when a voice distract her speech.

-“Jie Jie, asked him, which painting he’s going to put in”

-I’m not up to that yet! As Wei Wei muttered in her mouth. But her acting surprised Alec.

-Sorry, was you try to speak to me? He asked.

She turned back at him pushing for a reluctantly smile, and defend herself.

-Yes. I was just choosing a question for you? So what are you really hoping for with this competition. As she turned on her recorder, and prepared to write down some notes down.

-Well! At first…He laughed bitterly…I was aiming for, that if I win this Competition, I will marry your sister…He said looking in mid air..

-Oh! Wei Wei frowned for her sister. As she let him continued.

Alec collected back himself quickly, as he had promised Xiao Wei to be strong..

-But now…he looked back to Wei Wei…I’m going to do it for my art works, for my talents and for my future.

Wei Wei could hear a soft laugh from her sister, but she moved on.

-Ah Hah! So do you mind showing me, your work!..

-Um…Alec mumbled and reached his arms to starched the back of his head…I’m really haven’t got one yet..

-“What!” The voice cried out, as Wei Wei jumped up with shock.

-What! She also said..

Alec knew he had shock a certain someone, since he just express to her how determined he was on winning the competition, just five minutes ago. And then he also told her that, it’s one month away, and he still haven’t a masterpiece to put up yet…

-“What is he going to do!” The voice asked.

-What are you going to do. Wei Wei followed.

-Don’t worry, Alec gave a relaxing smile. I’ll think off something very soon, can you come back then..

Wei Wei was happily agreed to it. Thinking getting out of his house was the first thing she wanted to do. Before Xiao Wei going to drive her crazy by kept talking to her ear like that.
So she happily and quickly greeted good bye, and find her way to exit the room, but as she turned to step out. Alec suddenly called back..

-Is, Xiao Wei going to come here tonight!

-Um!…Wei Wei puzzled not sure herself what was the answer, until a certain voice spoke out.

-“Yes, I will!”

-Yes, she will. Wei Wei replied and head straight back outside.

Chapter 9

-“Jie Jie” Xiao Wei gave a jumped and flew closer to Wei Wei. “Can we go now?” All evening Xiao Wei was just been waiting for Wei Wei to get ready to go and see Alec.

-No…Out of Xiao Wei expected, Wei Wei yelled out to refused the invitation, as she turn grumpily at Xiao Wei.… Do you know what happened at the dinner table. Mother want me to take a trip, she affair I’m going to be insane soon ..Wei Wei exclaimed, and sat herself down at her working desk.

-“Oh No, you can’t take a trip now, what about Alec” Xiao Wei jumped in worried.

-What about him? I don’t care, the main point is I’m not insane, and I got my job to look after, I can’t go…Wei Wei spoke out some more, thinking how careless her sister be, only worry for that stupid guy.

-“So you don’t want to go, that’s good!” Xiao Wei relaxed. But Wei Wei was not quite sure.

-It not the matter of going or not. The point is I can’t keep pretend to be you, and go to see Alec. Mother will be surer that because I missed you so much, and I’d gone insane. But as Wei Wei finished her sentenced, Xiao Wei quickly chased over to persuaded her.

-“Please jie jie, you promised to help Alec and me?” “I don’t mind if you don’t change to my clothes. But just tried to come and see Alec, and make him believed you are me”..Xiao Wei sounded to pleading, that Wei Wei couldn’t resist on going harsh with her sister.

-But..Wei Wei puzzled…I’m not you, how can I be like you…feeling frustrated with herself.

-“Don’t worry, I’ll be with you to help out. You just need to come have a little talk to him, then we’ll go home soon, okay!” On seeing her pleading was working, so Xiao Wei continued on to begged some more.

-Alright! Wei Wei couldn’t find any good reason who refuse, so she got changed to her normal clothes, but she picked out a paler color to be more like Xiao Wei, with out her parent thinking that she was wearing Xiao Wei’s clothes. She let her hair flow soft, instead of applying hair gel on them.

Out she went, telling her parent that she need to go to the local library for some research, and left with Xiao Wei spirit following behind.

-“Now, be myself, stay natural and smile” Xiao Wei softly reminded her sister, while Wei Wei was walking to Alec’s front door.

-How can I stay natural while I’m pretending to be you? Wei Wei asked back, with Xiao Wei silly suggestion.

-“Oh? In that case, just smile and be gentle to him.”

-I hated him, Wei Wei groused back. But by then they already stopped at Alec’s front door. And Wei Wei hastily put up her finger for the bell.

Alec flung the door quickly as soon as he heard the bell rang. He had been waiting since the morning for this moment. But he carefully paused back, seeing it was more like Wei Wei at the front.

-Hi! He said with a smile, hoping she would give him a signal of which she truly was.

-“Hi! Alec!” Xiao Wei began as she glanced over for Wei Wei followed.

-Hi! Alec…as Wei Wei tried to copy Xiao Wei’s sweet smile.

Alec brighten up, it was only Xiao Wei who could have spoke to him with that soft voice. Immediately he pulled her into his hug whispering “It’s you”.

While Wei Wei was about to push him away as her normal reaction, but then Xiao Wei came to her front, and give her another one of that begging eyes.

-“Jie Jie, please do it for me!” Wei Wei soften as she stood still and let him hug her.

Alec finally broke out from his happy joy as he pulled her inside and closed the door.

-Have you eaten Xiao Wei. He asked…I made dinner.., while pulling her in to his tiny kitchen, there were a small table for two been prepared with candle and flowers.

-Um? I already eaten!! Wei Wei replied, as her eyes widen at the table. “His guys must have been crazier then me” she thought. Just then, Xiao Wei came to the table and looked over to Wei Wei.

-“Alec make really nice pasties. Why don’t you tried some?” Xiao Wei said to her sister, as she bent low to have a long sniff at the big pasties dish on the table.

-Alright, I guess I have some! You’re pasties looked nice..Wei Wei replied back to Alec, as she reluctantly followed Xiao Wei direction.

Alec smiled in full as he helped Wei Wei to sit down, and he went to sit opposite to her.

-Xiao Wei, he said, looking admiringly into her eyes.. Thank you for coming back, as he held up the champagne glass.

-Um…Wei Wei puzzled as she also grabbed her glass and put to toast with Alec. A certain uncomfortable feeling aroused her, but she had no choice then to press herself into it. That was also the first time, she had a romantic dinner with a guy in his house. Unfortunately it had to be with the guy she hated.

-“It’s okay! I’m willing to it” Xiao Wei replied, as Wei Wei repeated out loud.

-It’s okay! I’m willing to do it.

Alec couldn’t stop smiling on his Xiao Wei had fully came back to him…

Wei Wei flung her bag on the bed, just the moment she reached in her room. Before she could reach the light switch, the light bowl was turning on by itself for her.

-Thanks, she frowned looking at her sister, appearing beside the window, and then she quickly rushed to the bathroom to change for her bed.

As Wei Wei got out of the bathroom, seeing Xiao Wei was still there, she annoyingly asked.

-Why did you have to do that?

-“Do what??” Xiao Wei replied, innocently at her sister, accusing glanced.

-You known, why must you asked him to paint me! Wei Wei broke out, remember how she tried to stopped the ridiculous idea, when Xiao Wei suggested to Alec to draw her as full self Wei Wei into his painting. Alec was shocked no lesser, but he then agreed to please Xiao Wei.

-“Oh, That!” Xiao Wei frowned in realization. “I had my point, see, Me and you are twins. Both of us made one. Alec said his portrait of me was missing some thing ..ofcouse it was missing you all the way” Xiao Wei explained, as Wei Wei deliberately looked away and refused to listen.

-But I’m not like you, I can’t sit still hours for someone to do my painting. Wei Wei cried out, as she dropped her self helplessly on the bed.

Xiao Wei quickly crawled over and whispered to her sister.

-“Don’t worry! I’m with you”

Wei Wei gave a big frowned at her sister, and took the blanket to cover her face, indicating she’s going to sleep, and no talking.

Xiao Wei laughed upon her sister action, and slowly she moved over to turn off the light. Everything was in darkness, only for Xiao Wei spirit, still glowing blearily beside Wei Wei.

Chapter 10

So now, for many hours, Wei Wei was made to sit still without a movement. The idea of it was to make an identical image of the two sisters, so Wei Wei was set to sit in the similar position of Xiao Wei in the portrait, only facing an opposite direction.

“Gosh, I can’t believed I let Xiao Wei pull me into this” Wei Wei frowned to herself for countless times that she could recall. And then the soft voice spoke out again.

-“Jie Jie, please be patient, only a little more touches.”
Wei Wei was about to open her mouth to reply back. But she knew that would give Alec a chance to complain on her again. So she sat still, but growing mad inside at the word “a little more” of Xiao Wei, she had been hearing that same sentence almost one hour ago.

Alec was very much into creating his masterpiece. This was the first time, and could be the only time he got to draw Wei Wei. As anyone would think, painting a pair of twinsisters, should be easier as you can adapt movements from the two. But painting Wei Wei was much harder then Alec had thought.

Glancing back at Xiao Wei image on the other side. She was such simple, so relax and easy. But Wei Wei looked much more intended, very uncomfortable, very in depth, so different from Xiao Wei. But to an artist, drawing a complicated piece like Wei Wei was much more challenging then easy ones like Xiao Wei. Inside Alec, he was thanking Xiao Wei, to let him to have this challenge to paint Wei Wei. He never thought he would enjoy it that much.

Just then she heard Alec cried from relief.

-Hah? I finally finish it, It is so so…amazing…As Alec was proud at this product of his talent.
Wei Wei dropped herself back in the chair, as she thanked God for ending the punishment on her. She slowly tried to push herself up, when realizing, most of her muscles had gone numb.

-Ouch..she cried, trying to get up, but couldn’t.
Alec on seeing Wei Wei was struggled, as a normal reaction, he quickly rushed to her, to held her up. But the moment, his hand touched her arms. Wei Wei immediately pushed away.

-Don’t worry, I’ll be fine…As she refused strongly.

-Okay then. Alec had no choice, at least he tried to be nice. So he made his way back to the painting. As Wei Wei still sat back for another few minutes, and with her own strength, she tried one more time to push herself up. But just then, she felt a certain forced was helping behind her back. As it was just like an old trick, she can tell it was Xiao Wei, as the voice whispered to her.

-“Why didn’t you let him help you”

-Why should I? He got nothing to do with me! Wei Wei whispered back, but her muttering had caught Alec’s attention, as he looked up strangely at her.

-Are you alright? Were you talking to me? He asked, standing from the painting.

-Ah No!! Wei Wei replied, while walked slowly to take a look at the painting for herself.

To her unexpected, for the first time she viewed herself in a painting, it was most the most beautiful work she had ever saw. Not only because it had her and Xiao Wei in it. But the colors, the brushes…Wei Wei had to admitted that Alec was a good artist... And now she know why Xiao Wei liked painting.

-So, What do you think? Alec asked

-“Jie Jie, it’s beautiful!” Xiao Wei called out.

-Yes. It’s beautiful. Wei Wei repeated, only this time she was saying from her heart.

-Really?..He was happy that at the compliment on his work, but then he frowned back…I wonder if Xiao Wei can see it…

-Oh, she seen it..Wei Wei replied, unaware of what she was saying. It’s only struck her, when Alec turned to give her a shocked look.

-What did you say? He asked from his wonder.

Alec, frowned with grasping what Wei Wei was trying to say.

Quickly after that, Wei Wei took her leave, as staying back was getting too dangerous for her. But before she could go, she had to reply with Alec’s question, which was.

-Can you asked Xiao Wei if I can take her to the garden today evening.

-“Oh, that’s nice” Xiao Wei cried out to her sister, as Wei Wei reluctantly pushed for the answer.

-Yes, I think it will be fine!

-So where can I pick her up? He continued to ask..

-Wait at the front door, don’t come inside, you’ll confused my parent.

So it was a date set for Alec and Xiao Wei, or more likely Alec and Wei Wei who will be playing the role of Xiao Wei.

Since she was playing Xiao Wei’s role, Wei Wei started to shop for clothes that were more like Xiao Wei’s, so when every time going out with Alec on Xiao Wei behalf he would not feel strange, or her parents would not question her.

As then both of them ran hand in hand to Alec car, and he dropped her off to her house.

Wei Wei was surprised, as the moment she got in her room; she found Xiao Wei was already sitting at her desk, playing with the lamp.

-Eh? Where have you been, why are you so quiet? Wei Wei asked to her sister, as realizing not only tonight, but lately Xiao Wei been pretty quiet, sometime Wei Wei was not sure whether she was around or not.

Xiao Wei looked at her sister with a bright smile.

-“Hum? I think I should not bother you?” Xiao Wei began.

-Bother me what? Wei Wei asked backed in surprised.

-Between you and Alec…

-Me and A…there nothing between me and Alec, I’m only
trying to be you.. Wei Wei quickly explained herself, didn’t want her sister to misunderstand.

But Xiao Wei was fully relaxed as she tried to calm her sister.

-Calm down, why you have to be so fussy. Even if there is something between you guys. I would not be bother, I’ll be happy.

-That guy and me? No, never…Wei Wei fought back, as she was totally against the idea. She turned in to sit on the bed, while Xiao Wei slowly came over and sat next to her.

-Come on, after all this time spending together. You can’t tell me that you still hate Alec? Xiao Wei spoke out, as she was hoping to hear the truth from her sister.

-I…I…Wei Wei mumbled, Xiao Wei was more or least had a point. Since she been spending time with Alec, even it was only for Xiao Wei behalf, but surely had wiped out her negative feeling toward him…I don’t hate him as much..That’s doesn’t mean I liked him. She exclaimed.

-But Alec is a good person, why don’t you give him a chance…Wei Wei looked up furiously to her sister. Trying to work out what exactly Xiao Wei was tried to do. Matching her with Alec?

-Why? Aren’t you going to be jealous if I and Alec..
Xiao Wei flung herself up with laughter, as she leaned forward toward her sister.

-I’m a ghost, so why should I be jealous. Anyway, it’s my ex boyfriend and my twin sister getting together, so why should I be jealous. But I would get jealous if you let him go to other person’s arms. That’s what I don’t support.

-Aiyah, Stop talking non-sensed..I wanted to get some works done now, so can you leave me.

With that she waved good bye to Xiao Wei and raced into the bathroom, for a change. But in fact she was tried to hide her blushing. Standing in front of the bathroom’s mirror.

She asked herself.

“Is it really possible, if me and Alec together, that’s will not hurt Xiao Wei?

Chapter 11

Flashback

** “Dear everyone, who participated in the Country Art Competition this years. During the past two weeks, we had our most honorable pleasure, to view such a incredible range of beautiful Art Works. Some of them were excellent; some of them were out standing. We would love to call everyone a winner, of his or her own imagination. But unfortunately, we do have to pick out only one good piece, to be crowned as the best among all the rest.
It was a hard decision. But we had finalized. Throughout many different themes, we just couldn’t resist on one painting, which shown the differences between personalities. The reflection of a carefree mind, with a normal human worries of all the complicated things driving around us. The painting was simple, but yet had a great depth, no one can walked passed it without a wondering feeling inside. Are we really happy with whom we are? Or are we confusion, frustrating?
There is much, much more interesting point to show from the painting. But to summarize. We give a grand first price, to one of the most talented with full potential young Artist ALEC SU, with his magnificent work called “Reflection”. As the final announcement was made, people started clapping as

Alec walked out to the stage and received his priced.

Wei Wei standing among the audience, as herself. Cheering tremendously for Alec, as she clapped non-stop for him.
Alec was brimming with joy as he finally achieved his dream, and his promise to Xiao Wei. As he came out from the stage to receive the crown, on the sight seeing Wei Wei was smiling happily for him. He couldn’t control his happy statement as he led over and gave her the big hug. Or the first hug ever. If she was Xiao Wei, he was willing to kiss her.

Wei Wei was puzzled in Alec’s arms, as she wondered how to react, but she only felt happy for him, as hearing him whispering to her ears. “Thank you, for helping me. Thank you!” Wei Wei softened and she stood still for him, to take control over her mind.

End Flashback.

It was clearly, that Wei Wei had developed a certain feeling for Alec, as she had been so close with him, and got the chance to understand him. On the other hand Alec still thought Wei Wei was Xiao Wei. But he did have a few changes toward Wei Wei. To him, she became like a friend, a good friend that linked Xiao Wei to him.

Wei Wei sighed softly to herself, and make another turn, and closed her eyes. Suddenly her lamp went on by itself, as Wei Wei jumped up with a little fright.

-Hummm!..She frowned…Why do you keep popping in and out like that? Wei Wei relaxed as she noticed Xiao Wei standing beside her bed, playing on and off with the lamp.

-“Hahaha..” Xiao Wei giggled, “It’s been for awhile now, you should be used to it!”

-Well, I’m still human! Wei Wei frowned, while sitting up. As Xiao Wei slowly appeared sitting beside Wei Wei.

-“Why are you so sad?” She asked, looking at her sister.

-Huh?..nothing…Wei Wei lied.

-“Don’t lied to me, at least this is the last time we see each other, so be honest with me, Okay!”
Wei Wei, looked up at Xiao Wei with shock.

-What? What are you saying?

Xiao Wei smiled, and softly looked at her sister, in a calm voice, she explained.

-“You remember, the first night I came to you. Because I still have something to finish, and now, I satisfied what I wanted, and I have to leave.”

-What? Why? As Wei Wei was totally frustrated by Xiao Wei’s sudden news that fell from the sky…but she tried to calm herself as her mind searched for Xiao Wei’s idea…is it about Alec, because he won the price?

Xiao Wei nodded, her face still lit with a sweet smile.
But Wei Wei immediately sat up, to look at Xiao Wei, as she desperately wanted to pull Xiao Wei back.

-No, don’t go, Alec still needs you? Me still need you? Please don’t go…As Wei Wei begged for Xiao Wei’s sympathy.

-“No, I’m a ghost, I don’t exist, and I only wanted to complete what I left over. I’ve done my part. The rest is up to you!!”

-What do you mean by the rest is up to me? Wei Wei still fought back…I’m not involved; it was between you and Alec!

-“No jie jie, me and Alec ended long time ago, since that day after the accident, after I left. It was you all the way, and now, your chance to show to him, your true self.”

Wei Wei just couldn’t take in Xiao Wei’s words as she believed strongly that it will never work between her and Alec, as she continued to shook her head more frequently.

-No, it’s not going to work, between Alec and me, on you and Alec…She sighed.

-“How can you know, when you never try!” Xiao Wei asked back, as Wei Wei looked up, puzzled. Xiao Wei had a point; she never gave a chance to her and Alec. But what about Alec, will he except the truth?

-I…I..Wei Wei muttered in, confused, but Xiao Wei cut in to comfort her sister.

-“Jie Jie, why don’t you try? I think it will work!”

That was Xiao Wei last words, before waving good-bye to Wei Wei, and this time, she will be going forever. Leaving Wei Wei sitting still, frozen on her bed, thinking how can she face Alec from now on. Will she tell him the truth that Xiao Wei never was with him, it was only her. Or, will she kept lying to him, pretending as Xiao Wei, for..the rest of her life!!

Alec was sleeping deeply, until, he saw a white figure appeared from the smoky sir room in front of him.

“Xiao Wei” He whispered, seeing her face become clearer and clearer. It truly was Xiao Wei, with her long hair, and white dress, she looked just like an angel descending on the earth.

Xiao Wei moved nearer and nearer to him, as Alec stood still watching her. She didn’t speak, but her face always attached with the tenderest smile that Alec had ever see.

“Xiao Wei, you came back with me!” He asked dreamingly. But Xiao Wei, slowly shook her head. By then she put out her hand toward his side, showing a beautiful seashell, that she had been holding in her hands. It was the same shell that Wei Wei gave to her on their birthday. But Alec didn’t know that, as he confusingly put out his hand to grabbed hold of the big shell.

“Is it for me? He asked. As Xiao Wei nodded slowly.
While Alec was still frustrated trying to work out, what Xiao Wei wanted to tell him. He look down one minute to look at the shell. The next minute He looked up, Xiao Wei was gone, disappeared, vanished in thin air.

“Xiao Wei” Alec cried out loud, hoping her she to returned, but instead he found himself waking from his sleep. It was just a dream! A very confusing dream.

As schedule, on every Sunday, Alec will take Xiao Wei, or more like Wei Wei, out for a time together. To Wei Wei suggestion, instead of coming to the Park like Xiao Wei always do. Wei Wei suggested to Alec to come to the seaside. As they trolling in the sand, near the water, playing around with the waves, laughing, having fun together, it was the best time.

-Hahaha..Ouch…As Wei Wei cried out of her laughter as Alec pushed her, falling on the sand.

-That’s your punishment, for trying to push me in the water. Alec replied cheekily to his supposed to be Xiao Wei. As then he put out his hand to help her up.

But the minutes Wei Wei grabbed hold as Alec’s hand, she strongly pulled it to herself, as Alec came falling down on top of her.. They started to giggle, but as he was about to place a soft kiss on her lips. She hesitantly pushed him. He rolled away from her as she quickly sat up.

Alec was confused to see her reaction, so he reluctant sat up beside her, and put his hand on her shoulder.

-Are you Okay? He asked, concerningly for her.
Wei Wei hesitantly looked away. She knew Xiao Wei had gone for nearly two weeks, but she still had not told him. She was kept playing on Xiao Wei’s part to make him happy. But to get a wrongly directed kiss. That was the last thing she wanted.

-You looked strange? Are you okay? Alec continued to asked, as how he wanted to called her name “Xiao Wei”, but as he promised and as what been explained. That’s Xiao Wei had already dead, so he can’t really keep calling out a dead person’s name while going out with the one still alive.

Even though it was Xiao Wei’s spirit living in Wei Wei’s body, no one knows except for the three of them. So better of, he should not call “Xiao Wei”.

Wei Wei turned to looked at Alec, she want to tell him, but don’t know where to begin.

-Alec, I want to tell you something…She mumbled.

-Shirrr…Alec cut in, as he put his hand on her lips, to stop her from talking. Look! ..he continued, as his finger pointed out to the deep sea, with the sun setting in midway of the water.

The two of them turned together to watch the sunset sky. That’s what Wei Wei had showed to Alec, the first time, they dated by the sea. And from that, just like her, Alec got addicted in watching the beautiful sight.

-Don’t you think it’s the most beautiful sight! Wei Wei whispered as she lay softly on Alec’s chest.

He rounded his arms around her body, and turned to whispered back for only her to hear.

-No, I see a more beautiful sight, more attractive than this, and just irresistible.

-Really? Wei Wei cried out, as she turned faced to him, wondering what was he up!

Alec grinned, as he put his hand to push up her chin. He looked at her lovingly and said.

-Yes! With his eyes attached to her eyes.

Wei Wei was still playing innocent, as she curiously asked on.

-Where is it? With her eyes wide opened waiting for the answer.

-It’s right in front of me? He smiled back, as she quickly turned away blushing.

But Alec knew when was the perfect moment, as he put his hand out and turned her face back looking at him. Both eyes caught each other, and stayed attached, as their lips draw nearer. And finally land on each other. Soon she was cuddled up for the most personated kiss that the sea had ever witness.

To Wei Wei, her heart was confused, but the moment she laid securely in his arms. She had willing to dedicate her life, her heart to him. She just not cares whether, she will be herself or acted as Xiao Wei for the rest of her life, but she was willing to do it, as long as she can be with him.

To Alec, lately, he found there was something different about Xiao Wei. She started to debate and rebutted him. But he liked it better then when she was so simple and easy. Now Xiao Wei had more feeling he thought, not only she could be cheerful and happy like before. But she can also be quite with deep thought, and he loved to be able to comfort for her, be there for her.

As to the kiss, He just couldn’t let her go. It had been so long since he was waiting for this earnest kiss. The kiss that he never had, but will truly last forever in his mind.
As for Wei Wei, it was the first time she kissed him, truly by herself, from her heart. It was not because Xiao Wei told her to, or because Alec made her to, but because she was willing to do it, forever and ever, if she can.

Chapter 12

-Morning Daily, Wei Wei speaking!

-Xiao Wei.. The person on other line rushed out, but he suddenly paused and corrected himself. I mean, Wei Wei…

-Alec.! She relied reluctantly.

-Wei Wei, can you drive by my house after work. I mean you and your sister…Alec spoke out excitedly from the other line.

-Why? Is there anything wrong? Wei Wei wondered, Alec hadn’t been asking specifically for Xiao Wei, since a while ago.

-Oh, no, I just want to show you something… Alec replied..

Wei Wei hesitantly said yes! As she felt herself growing more tired and tired in keep acting as Xiao Wei. She wanted to be with Alec, but with this disguising game, she will never able to find true happiness, and true love.

By five, Wei Wei had all her things packed up, as she drove straight to Alec’s house, after phoning home to let her mother know that she will be late.

Alec quickly opened the door, the moment he realized Wei Wei had arrived.

-You’re here, finally... come in…As he excitedly pulled her hand and show her to one of his newest work.

Wei Wei was full surprised to see Alec’s action. She forced herself to follow him, but once she spotted the new painting, her eyes widened, as she stepped up closely to observe the painting. A portrait of herself.

Alec stepped back behind; he knew his painting would bring a lot of surprise for Wei Wei. He knew she would be pleased, as this was the first time he did the portrait of her from his own thought, without her being a real model.

-You drew me! She asked out of wonder.

Alec nodded cheekily as he came closer to stand behind her, placing his hand on her shoulders.

-When! How come I don’t know…She continued to asked more, looking at herself. It was her, in her normal Jeans, with a colorful T-shirt, and her short hair as well.

-I drew you from here. Said Alec pointing to his heart, as then he turned Wei Wei around facing him…This is how you appeared in my heart! Just then, he softly put his arms around her back, and gently pushed herself closer to his embrace.

Wei Wei was touched, she grinned happily and relaxed herself and nestle in his arms.

They stood still hugging each other tighter and tighter…Feeling the warmest feeling arousing between them, bonding between them.

At that moment, Alec slow put his hand to push up her chin, as they prepared to attach for a long intimate kiss.
Her eyes were watching movingly. His eyes were watching passionate. At just the moment their lips about to touch, he couldn’t help but whisper.

-I love you….Xiao Wei.

She paused, feeling the most devastating pain stabbing through her heart, as she strongly pushed him away. “No” she cried out.

-What? What wrong…Xiao…As Alec was confused, he asked called, but as he was mentioning Xiao Wei name, Wei Wei’s distressed voice cut in.

-No, I’m not Xiao Wei, can’t you tell I’m Wei Wei? She cried out, as tears rolling down her red face.

-I known you’re in Wei Wei’s body, but you really…Alec fought back with confusion

-No, I’m Wei Wei, and I never was Xiao Wei. She relied, but her voice started to soften. As Alec turned totally frustrated.

-What are you saying? …as his head spinning around, finding the right explanation for all of this.

Wei Wei took in a deep breath, as she pushed herself to reveal the truth. It was the time, she no longer can hide it. Even knowing, that she could lose him forever. But it’s better than tricking him through a non-existent relationship.

-Alec! Xiao Wei, died. Since the day of the accident, she was only a ghost. Her spirit came to me, cause we were twin sisters, and she and I had a certain attachment to one another. At that time, you had lost your normal self. Xiao
Wei was unwilling to leave on seeing you destroying yourself. So she asked me to help.

Wei Wei paused and sniffed, as she quickly wiped her wet cheek. While Alec stood still frozen, listening to Wei Wei, couldn’t tell whether she was confronting to him, or was he playing with him. Wei Wei continued.

-So, after that night, I have to live in two roles, my normal self to other people. But to you, I was Xiao Wei, with the help of my sister, who’s usually beside me, to correct my mistake and direct me and what to do, on things to say.. Until when you received the Art award. Xiao Wei said she had fulfilled her wish, and she had left for good. From then I never saw her again.

Alec took a step back to balance himself, since he didn’t absorb all this sudden shocking news. Wei Wei swallowed the last lump in her throat to clear her voice.

-I…I meant to tell you the truth from then. But I couldn’t…I didn’t mean to hurt you anyway. I know your love for Xiao Wei is irreplaceable. I’m not sure how you will react when Xiao Wei had gone. I thought that maybe I could keep on pretending that I am Xiao Wei to…her voice fate out.

-So, you’ve been lying to me… Alec spoke out, feeling a same kind of disappointment going through his mind, how would she play with his feeling?!

Wei Wei looked up at Alec, with her big eyes filled with unstoppable tears. Slowly, she spoke out from the bottom of her heart.

-I might have pretended to be like Xiao Wei. But the feeling I had for you was real…

Alec suddenly couldn’t stop himself to look up at her. Was she telling the truth, or was it just another trick of hers? She had been playing games with him, until now, he couldn’t tell when was she telling the truth or was she just lying?

Wei Wei, noticed Alec’s quiet look, but to her, it was a sign of rejection. And now she had to withdraw herself.

-I know, no one can replaced Xiao Wei’s image in your heart. I’m sorry, from now on I promised not to bother you again. But please for Xiao Wei’s wish, please don’t give up on yourself!!

With that she slowly turned and make her way to the door, while Alec tiredly turned his body around so he would not view’s Wei Wei’s leaving.

She paused at the door, turning for the last look. She would love for him to call her back. But he didn’t even want to face her. Sorely, she admitted the failure and closed the door, as if she were shutting down the dream of her first love.

Alec was left behind, alone in his room. The sound of the door closing awoke his tension, as he turned around quickly, only to see a blank door closing on him. A certain regret feeling aroused in him, as his eyes spotted the new painting. He claimed that to be the love from his heart. What or who did he really drew??

Chapter 13

-Hi mother, and father. I’m home.

-Wei Wei, I thought you gone out tonight. Mr Zhao asked while his wife took a closer look at her daughter. As a mother she immediately sensed something was wrong about her daughter.

-Um, yeah we finished early. Wei Wei lied, while rushing her way to the bedroom.

Mrs Zhao called out to her daughter, as she was more certain that Wei Wei had met with something bad.

-Do you want dinner, I saved your portion! She offered, hoping it will give Wei Wei a chance to talk with her at the dinner table.

But Wei Wei, shook her head and refused with the excuse “I already had some!”, then she continued to walked up the stair and close the door to her room.

-Poor Wei Wei, something wrong with her again. Mrs Zhao frowned, watching her daughter helplessly dismissed into her room.

Mr Zhao looked up with surprised.

-How do you know? He asked.

-I’m her mother, what do you think. She replied sharply, blaming at her husband unconcerned, but then she suddenly lighted up with an idea. What about that vacation, do you think it’ll work for her now..

-It up to you! Lady’s mind are too tough for me to followed. Mr Zhao gave up as he thought his wife was being over protective again. He slowly walked out from the dinning room to the sofa and turned on the news.

Wei Wei rested herself on the bed. Never in her life she felt so depressed, and what was all this about? Just for one word “Love”. She knew she should not get involve into it, and now ending up as a loser. “Why” the same question she repeatedly asked herself, Why did she forget her role model, to be as success as possible. Why did she have to trap herself in a net, the net of an unexplained love.

“Um…But it’s all pasted. You learned your lesson Wei Wei, I let you cry all you want tonight. And tomorrow, you are to be a strong person, and move on like you always did.!” Wei Wei thought to herself as she ducked her head deeper in her pillow, straining out all the tears from her heart. Hoping by doing it, she could get over heartbreak from her first love.

The view of a waving beach appeared slowly in front of Alec. As he tried to open his eyes wider, to had a better look at the small figure sitting on the big rock in front of him.

-“Alec!” Xiao Wei turned around to look at him with her usual soft smile.

Alec was surprised he wanted to run over and grab her, but she was too far, out of his reach.

-Xiao Wei… he called out…do you know how much I missed you?.

-“Listen! Alec!” She cut in to change the subject. “Can you here the sea. It is so beautiful, I never notice it, I never believed Wei Wei, until now, it is so much better. With a great site like this, you have to enjoy it! I gave the seashell to you, permanently.” She was speaking to him, but her eyes were clued to the water outside from a distance further.

-But..Alec puzzled…I loved you? Feeling more like it was a question for himself more than an expression for Xiao Wei.

She turned and smiled at him, smiled upon his innocent.

-“You, silly! Ask yourself? Who do you really loved?”

Alec was in total confused. He wanted to tell he loved her, but something was holding him back. As then Xiao Wei begin to giggled out loud, as her image began to fade into thin air, leaving a last sentence.

-“The picture that you drew, it was not me, you known it, I known it, but she wasn’t sure about it!”

“XIAO WEI” Alec cried out for her to return, only to find himself half waken on the bed. Another dream, and one more time Xiao Wei had given him a lot of useful tips.

Alec pulled his blanket away, and slowly stood up for a morning freshening. As he walked to the window, he pasted his new portrait. With a normal attraction power, he stood still to approach at the painting. “This is not Xiao Wei!” He told himself, after comparing the new look with Xiao Wei last picture in “Reflection”. If it was Xiao Wei she should be wearing a dress, paled colors, wit long hair, and soft eyes, sweet smile. But, the painting was much more colorful, more interesting and more questions. The biggest was “Who is she really is?”

The next day, Alec finally had an answer to his question. As all day, he waited for the best time to come so he would tell her. By Four o’clock, Alec took his car to her work’s station.
As the elevator’s door opened, Alec stepped in to the reception table, glanced through the office behind, hoping she could still be in there.

-Can I help you sir? Asked the receptionist, as she caught back Alec’s attention.

-Um…he began slowly. I’m looking for Ms Zhao?. He finally asked

-Who? Wei Wei?

-Yes? Is she still in? As Alec tried to put more confident in the question.

But the lady slowly sighed and replied with an answer that Alec didn’t want to hear.

-Sorry, Wei Wei had gone out to an assignment, since lunchtime.

-Do you know when she’ll be back? He was wishing for a last hope, but..

-Really. I don’t know, she didn’t say. So sorry.

-Okay! Thank you! He bent low his head with full disappointment and turned to the elevator.

Alec walked tiredly to his car, why can she just be in her office, so he could pick her up, for a dinner between them, and he will take the opportunity to explain his feeling to her. But now, everything gone back to zero.

“Maybe, she came back soon!” He thought with a light glow. “I’ll wait for her.” Then he decided to sit back in the car, and wait for Wei Wei could return.

After the Press conference, Wei Wei tiredly collected her things, without waiting to hang back like she usually does to pick up extra news. Today she was not in the move for that, as she turned and walked straight to her car, living behind a full crown.

She carelessly, threw her big heavy bag to the back, and start the engine. She wanted to go home and rest, but there was something that she had to pick up, and so she turned left, heading back to the Daily Morning station.

It had been nearly two hours, as Alec patiently wait for Wei Wei outside in his car, but still no sign of her. “She really is not coming back, I really had missed a chance to tell her, will I still be strong enough by tomorrow?” He frowned, as turned the key to start the engine, and drove the car out of its spot going back home. He felt so displeased with himself with his life. May be some music would add a better pace to himself, as Alec decided to turn his radio louder at Station TTFM.

Just to refresh her mind a bit while on the road , Wei Wei reached out one hand and turned on the radio.

-You are listening to the best music station in Melbourne TTFM. And now, for our next requested song, this is Immortality, written by the Gibbs brothers… The sound of the introduction to a new song.

The lyrics caught Wei Wei attention, as she winded up her window, and turned the volume louder.

Also on the road, Alec had been paying very close attention to the song, this was not his first time listening to this particular song. But at that moment, to song sound very close to him, not only him, to her as well.

-But him and I already ended, Wei Wei whispered to herself at the lyrics of the song. She laughed bitterly to herself. But the song did tell her to be strong, and that exactly what she trying to do!

Suddenly different flashback occurred in Alec’s mind. As he remembered the first time drawing for protrait in “Reflection”. The time spending with her, on the beach, watching sunset, that most intimated kiss together. Everything was all about her. But where is she now.

-“He will remember me!” Wei Wei thought “ But as a nasty person that play around with his feeling! He will never wanted to see me again”.

Wei Wei still steady on her driving, as she heading straight ahead on the big road to the Station.

Alec was coming from a small street, as he indicated right to turned out to the big road. As he waited for the last lots of car to went by. Suddenly a sight of a familiar sport car, caught his tension

Its was her car, he recognized, as the car came closer and went passed in front of him. With no waiting Alec quickly turned his wheel to the left and followed her car. His heart beat more and more faster, as he trying to find a way to get her attention.

“I’m sorry I don’t have a role for love to play,
Hand over my heart I’ll find my way,
I will make them give to me!”

Wei Wei frowned to the song, as her hand still focus on the steering wheel. As a normal driving procedure, driver supposed to check the rear mirror in the middle of the car every five minutes, to see what was the road like behind them.

So Wei Wei glance her eyes over the mirror for a quick second. But something caught her eyes that she quickly turned back to the mirror again, this time took a bit longer view at the car behind her. It was familiar. But it was strange as in the daylight, the car was flashing its beam light behind her. As she turned for the third look, her eye froze as she gone puzzled. It was Alec.

“What is he doing there, is he trying to tell me something, what should I do, stop, or not?”

Just then Wei Wei, made up her mind, as she put on her left indicator and turned to the next smaller street nearby. And Alec followed, turning in the same lane with her.

“Immortality,
There is a vision and a fire in me,

Wei Wei quickly checked up the mirror to see whether he followed her, and he did. She was sure he wanted to see her, but what for? She asked herself, and pulled over to parked on one side of the street.

Alec relief, as he saw Wei Wei finally had stopped, as he also pulled back, just a few meters behind her.

Wei Wei took a deep breath, as she prepared herself for anything that about to come, and slowly to push the door open and walked out, to stand, leading beside her car, looking at his way.

Alec went out the car, with out taking off his key, he softly smiled to her, and slowly made his way to where she was standing. “This is it!” He told himself, and moved in closer.

In his car, the radio was still on as the last ending of the song still be heard since Alec left his window winded down.

Chapter 14

Alec went out of his car, without taking off the key, he softly smiled to her, and slowly made his way to where she was standing. “This is it!” He told himself, and moved in closer.

Wei Wei tried to stay clam, as she felt her heart beating uncontrollable in the view of Alec was approaching to her, closer by each step. The moment he stopped just a few steps facing to her. It almost stopped her breath as well.

-Wei Wei. He began softly, looking into her big eyes…Can we start off from the beginning…Between us, only the two of us. Me and You..Wei Wei..

His words were so soft as it reached down to her heart, healing the wound that been bleeding since the day before it. Wei Wei grinned, the beaming smile lighten up both her life and his life, as she stepped closer and jumped up to hug on his neck line. Alec also reacted back as he grabbed closed to Wei Wei waist. The first time, they truly belong to each other, from heart to soul.

As they embrace more closer. Alec could fell it, he could tell, this was what he had been looking for. It was she all the way, since Xiao Wei had gone. Wei Wei laid her head softly on his shoulder, she just kept her eyes shut, affair the wonderful fantasy will end the moment she open her eyes. But this was reality. She really was lying in Alec arms, as herself, not while pretending as her sister.

But slowly an uncertain thought pasted through Wei Wei, as she broke out of the embrace and looked up to him.

-But how do you sure it is me!? She asked, thinking there might be a chance that he could be mistaken, between her and Xiao Wei’s shadow.

Alec understood deeply for her concern, as he placed his two hands holding firmly on her hands.

-I’ll prove it to you! He pressed harder! I will show you who I really loved? He ended his replied, while Wei Wei smiled softly, doesn’t matter whether he was saying the true or not, but his words had brought sunshine to her life, a bright light of hope in her heart.

From then on, Alec always searched for the best way to win Wei Wei’s trust that he was really in love with her, not from the shadow of Xiao Wei.

To prove, that he had known and understood her personality. Alec just kept sending to Wei Wei thing that she liked. A bundle of mixture flowers, Love Novels, and most of the time took her down the beach, it’s all was just to show that he knew who she was. The colorful, and concerned Wei Wei, who loved to read and admired the beach, while Xiao Wei would refer the green grass garden, and a white roses with soft music.

Nine months on, their relationship was going stronger then ever, As the two of them were looking to the future, and letting the pasted behind them.

The moment, Wei Wei stepped in the door. She almost got shock, thinking she may had stepped in to the wrong house. “This couldn’t be his room?” She thought, looking at everything so tidy and clean. Alec was not really a messy person, but he had his habits of not wanting to pack up. There were countless, for how many times, Wei Wei had tried to packed up his little mouse hut, just a few days later when she return, everything just gone back to their old untidy self. Later she finally gave up on telling him off, and fixing things herself.

But today was different, everything were so tidy that Wei Wei couldn’t recognize it was the same room.

-Are you impressed? Alec cheekily sliced behind her to pop out the surprise question.

-Um…what shall I say, it will last the best is for 48 hours! She answered him, glancing behind her back, and walked out from his grab.

But Alec quickly reached out his arms, stopping her way.

-You are underestimated me! He said, trying to defend for himself.

-Really? She turned around and asked the question, as she doubted in his words.

-Come on, I got something more important to show you. Alec turned the subject around, cause he surely will lose to her when debating about his messiness topic.

-Wah, where are you taking me? Wei Wei cried out, as she been pulled by Alec strong arms, walking to one corner of the room, where set a newly painting of Alec, but it was covered.

They finally stopped in front of the new painting, then Alec slowly stepped aside behind her, as he pushed her forward to review his new work.

-Is this what you wanting to show me? Wei Wei asked while curiously observed at the big frame standing in front of her.

-Um huh…Now looks carefully okay!

Wei Wei turned around to Alec cheeky words, she wondered what games does he up to now. But whatever she going to find out when she reviews the painting. So with no hesitation, she quickly flips over the red piece of fabric that covered the new painting. At last she saw it.

Her heart must had stopped beating for a moment, as she stood in froze, her bottom jaw almost dropped down, as she let out a small cried of surprised.

Alec, just stood on one side, he already guessed that she would more or less reacted in that certain way. As he turned back, pleading with himself on the new piece of work. It was a simple painting, with a dark background but had sunlight shining to a small table, on top of the table laid a bundle of mixtures flowers, the one Wei Wei liked. Beside the flowers was a small jewelry box, which was half opened, reviewed the sight of a beautiful diamond ring. Beside the ring was a little note, on it written a simple line “Wei Wei, will you marry?” Signed “Alec”

Chapter 15

The two walked together from the car-park, hand in hand, as the loves for each other always fulfilled in their heart. When they reached to the small grave, with craved on the name “Xiao Wei”, Wei Wei slowly moved forward to set up the white roses on top of the grave, while Alec prepared to burn some paper money.

-Xiao Wei…Wei Wei softly called out, as she bend down beside Alec, placing a red card in the burning fire…This is the invitation for our wedding, it’ll be on a week from now. We thought you would like so see it!

Alec tenderly looked up at his finance with a soft smile, finally he can be with the woman he loved, and it’s all thanks to Xiao Wei.

To both of them, Xiao Wei was not only their favored family member, but she was also like a matchmaker, who brought the two of them together. She was like an angel, showing them the right path to the future, and much more than that. With all the respected of their heart, Xiao Wei was irreplaceable. No matter how happy or sad they life going to be, Xiao Wei will always played as the big influenced.

After their wedding, Alec moved in to the Zhao big house. But the most pleased people were Mr & Mrs Zhao. They don’t have to lose a daughter, instead they gained a son in-law.

Since having twins were like genetic inherited from Wei Wei’s family, since she also had a twin aunties. So Mr and Mrs Zhao were not surprised, when after one happy year of the marriage, their only daughter gave birth to adorable twin boys. The new family members were called Jason and Jordan. Alec was happier than anyone was, as he became a proud father of two boys at once. He shared the joy in his works, produced some magical paintings that made to the record in the sell out prince, and yet people loved his works.

Thanks to the help of her mother, Wei Wei managed to get back to her work very soon, after the birth of her first twins. Just recent, Wei Wei achieved her goal by she winning the Academy prince to be the most outstanding news reporter in the State in two consecutive years.

Tonight was their 6th wedding Anniversary. Alec took his wife and the kids to the beach for an evening picnic with the family.

As the two little boys chased each other around in the fluffy sand, leaving a moment of private for their parents.

Wei Wei leaned back peacefully in Alec’s arms, as they watched their boys running around with laughter around the beach.

-Jordan, Jason, don’t come near the water, you’ll get wet. In a loving motherhood tone, she yelled out to warn her children.

-Don’t worry sweetie, they’re know what they doing! Alec said, comforting his wife as he thought she was being over protective.

-Aiyah, how can I’m not worry their five…She fought back, teased with her husband.

-But they’re your children, they’re going to be extremely good.

Wei Wei grinned happily, upon hearing her husband sweet words “Liar!” She whispered back to him, as Alec pulled his arms out to wrap around her tighter..

-You known, I told you to leave the kids for mum. He said, thinking back of how he been planned for this night to be for themselves. But just one sentence of his wife, that everything collapsed. That was “Jordan and Jason, come we’re going out with daddy!”

-How can you be so irresponsible, they’re your kids two…Wei Wei tried to blamed her husband, but instead she understood deeply of what her husband was planning for them. But as a daughter, she can’t just always abandon her kids to her mother.

-I just wanted to have a night for us…Alec replied with a little bit of disappointment.

While Wei Wei, slowly pulled herself up to laid her head on Alec’s shoulder, and pointing for him to look at the view of their little sons playing with the soft waves.

-Honey! Look, this is US…She whispered back. At the same time, Alec was touched by her words, as he planned to bend down and placed a kiss for his wife, But then…

-Mummy, look what I got? Said little Jason, and he came running toward his parents, on his hand holding a piece of round shell.

-Darling, look, this is a sea shell, mummy use to have lots of these, come here…As Wei Wei pulled her son to sit on her lap, and put the shell to his ear…listen..and you’ll hear the sound..

The little Jason went fascinated to the soft music coming out from a shell. At that time, Jordan also ran back, as he showed to Alec another similar shell.

-Daddy! I got one too..cried out little Jordan.

-Okay! Then you sit down and daddy let you listen as well… Then Jordan did the same thing as Jason, sitting on his father lap, and began to listen in the shell.

The two boys cried out from surprised, and together they ran out again, but still keeping the shell by their ears.

Alec helped Wei Wei up, and both of them slowly take a walked around the beach with their boys running around their feet.

-You’re right, sweetie! As Alec paused back, holding his wife in his arms, and lovingly look at her face…This is us, and we will always be a happy family…

Wei Wei relaxed her body, as she gave a tighter hug on to her husband waist. Both of them stood still looking at the beautiful view of the sunset.
A distance not far from that, their active boys still running around as if they never feel tired.
And a distance above from them, a beautiful face was watching them the hold time, with a soft smile on her face, she is now happy, for her sister and the man she cared for so much…!
She will make sure that they will be together forever after!!…
