Chapter 1

Image of two ladies, who were born on the same year, same date, in same hospital. And no, they’re not twins. They grown up in the same city, same town, and yet not the same house, I’m not going to make it that weird…*grin*. But they did grew up in the same neighborhood, going to the same school, and fell in love with the same man. This is where the stringy part begins.

The lucky man, who received both of their loves, didn’t love anyone of the two ladies. But he never tell them about his decision, in fact, he left the town quietly and quickly, after telling the two ladies individually that he had found someone fitted for him.

SO, Then the ladies mistook each other for taking over their first love. So they both left the town in two separate directions. But inside they develop haters for each other, and promise to make the other life very difficult, if they going to see each other again. They both married and had a family of their own, but their husband soon died, leaving them to be mother single.

When 20 years later, the two ladies unintentionally reunited in the most critical and comical situation. And what about when their children met each other….???

Zhao Wei, just finish feeding a spoon full of cereal for her little boy Alec, as she quickly turned over to the other side and started to chase her little daughter, Vicki.

-Aiyah, come on you kids, mummy need to get ready! Now Vicki dear, you going to stay there, and mummy going to give you one more spoon.

The almost 2 years old little girl, cheekily shook her head, as she started to run after her twins brother, as the kids began there merry go round chasing around their frustrating mother.

-Come on guys, just one more spoon, Okay honey…Come Vicki Stop, Alec come here to mummy. The more she called out, the more exciting the children developed, as in the end, Zhao Wei had to join in to the chase, running after them.

Yu Peng’s step just touched on the ground floor, as he felt the little Vicki running blindly straight on to him.

-Wow. Princess, where do you think your going! Said Yu Peng while picking up his little daughter in his hand, just a moment later, Alec almost ran over and grabbed at Yu Peng leg, when Zhao Wei jumped in and quickly grabbed Alec by his waistline.

-Got ya! You little rat!..Mother and son started to giggles, until she looked up and noticed her husband, finally stepped down from the bathroom…Oh, great, you’re here…You can take over, I’m going to get ready.

Yu Peng confusingly put down Vicki, as the two kids immediately started on another chasing…

-See I told you should let the nanny in today! He complained, while reluctantly took over the cereal bowl from his wife..

Zhao Wei, walked carelessly to the stair, but she quickly turned back..

-Well, It’s Sunday, and we’re already discussed that we will look after the kids on the weekend, so the nanny went home. After the quick explanation, she turned back and aimed for the bedroom upstairs.

-But when we’re going out, we need a hand.. Two kids, then two hands is not enough… Yu Peng couldn’t finish his word, as he find his wife already disappeared into their bedroom. So unwillingly, he had to turn back to the kids. Looking at the two running around non-tired, Yu Peng couldn’t stop then to frowned with himself.

A long 45 minutes later. Zhao Wei finally stepped down, as she was all freshen up. With a light make up, a color summer dress, and a beautiful smell of Yu Peng’s favored Channel No.5.

-Come Vicki, open up..good girl. Now you’re turn Alec…Good boy..

Zhao Wei paused back her step, looking at Yu Peng and the two kids, amazingly were sitting still on their high chairs, and Yu Peng was just one by one feeding each of them.

-Mummy..The little Vicki called out in her baby voice, and put her hands out for her mother, who was approaching closer.

Yu Peng turned his back around, and once more time he was breathless. Even know they been married for 5 long years. But her beauty always stunned him on every time she dressed up for special occasion. No wonder newspaper called her “The Queen of entertainment”.

-Honey, How did you do it! She asked with all respected to her husband effort and over come their high energetic rugrats.

-Oh, I got my own trick you know. He quickly replied giving a quick wink to his children, and turn back to look at his wife again. As he as about to stand up and place a kiss on her soft hair, but Zhao Wei moved quicker to the kids and missed on Yu Peng’s grab.

-Come on, Sweetie, Let’s mummy changes you, or your nannies are going to be very cross with mummy and daddy later.

But as she lifts the little table up from the chair, and tried to pick up Vicki, she noticed that the belt was tied both Vicki and Alec to the chair.

-Honey? She deepen her voice, and turned back to her husband, who was trying to make a fool face..

-Well, you see, I had to get them down…Otherwise…and no way they’ll…He answered in puzzle.

Zhao Wei softly replied with a cheeky smile to her husband, cause more or less he did had a point. So the couple collected their kids, and brought them upstairs. In no time, the two children were all dressed up. Vicki looked so adorable in her pink silky dress, similar to what mum had on. And Alec was just too cute in his short and flower summer shirt.

-Oh My God, we’ll late. Zhao Wei yelled out, as the two increased their speed panicky moved their children out to the car seat. After a rushing moment and tighten up the seat belt for the kids, Zhao Wei hurriedly made her way to the front seat when she felt her hands been pulled back, and forced her body to turn around.

-Honey…she cried, trying to get herself out of her husband passion look.

-The kids had their breakfast, now I want mine. He spoke out in a baby voice, and slowly bent down trying to kiss her.

-Wait. She reluctantly paused back on his lips. What if reporters around…??She asked out while paying a look from side to side, checking whether any camera lenses were spotting at them.

-I don’t care, it’s not like we just got married. As he urging in, put his hand on her cheek to steady her face, and tenderly he bent down and placed another passionate kiss into their collection. This was a everyday thing for them, but they were never got bore of it, in fact it was getting more and more interesting every time.

After a quickly moment of outburst, the couple quickly detached themselves and started their ride to their mothers house.

Another thirty minutes, they reached to the small quiet street, which desired for the elderly people. The Lexus stopped at on of a little cottage alike looking house, as there already stood two elderly ladies, anxiously waiting for them.

-So you finally here! Ms Su (Yu Peng’s mother) cried at she approached the car, the moment it pulled in the driveway.

-Sorry Mum. Zhao Wei quickly apologized, while opening the back door, undo the seat belt, and took Vicki out. Alec was sitting on the other side and was taken out by Yu Peng.

-We were a bit stacks with these two rats here. Yu Peng give out the excuse, before their two mothers going to scold them.

-I thought you forgotten your mother’s birthday. Ms Zhao (Zhao Wei’s mother) went toward to Yu Peng and took Alec in her hands. Come here pumpkin pier. Nanna got special treats for you. She turned and began to walk in the house, with Ms Su followed.

-Okay, sweet cheese! Granny will take you inside and we’ll play…The two ladies walked back to the house happily playing with there own favor grandchild. Leaving the young couple behind to collect their own thing.

-Gosh, Sweet cheese? Zhao Wei spoke out of her dislike while helping Yu Peng with the nappy bag.

-I know, and Pumpkin pier. I mean I hated pier! Yu Peng join in with the disapproval on the nickname that their mother put for their kids.

-Okay, we better had a talk with mothers about those nicks! Zhao Wei advised jokingly, as the couple broke out the little laugh.

Suddenly then, Su Peng spotted on or two reporters were aiming at them, so the couple quickly walked inside and closed the door.

Zhao Wei cut in again.

Zhao Wei:..Honey…hum…Sweetie..move on with it…

Yu Peng: Oh. Okay…Anyway, many of you just read a little picture of our family. Well, you must had imagined what a happy family we are. But it not really that easy to become a happy family.

Zhao Wei: Yes, true! In fact, we started of to be enemies…Well not much for us, but our mothers did..

Yu Peng: Yet, now they happily sharing a same house, enjoying their old days together…Did I confuse you yet?

Zhao Wei: Well, it will be confusing at the first start, that’s why we here to tell you, the full version of how we managed to become a family. The Story between us.

Chapter 2

Zhao Wei: “Turning point” is the title of the first series that we were played in. After the success edition, we received our first role in series, produced by CBZ Station in Taiwan.

Yu Peng: We only co-starring, I played Alec, a young businessman. And Zhao Wei played Vicki, a soft rich girl.

Zhao Wei: Don’t be surprised, cause we did picked the name of our first characters to call our children. Briefly summaries the story. Alec was from a normal class family, but he felt in love with his boss’s fun and active daughter, Vicki. And Vicki shared the same feeling toward Alec, but she was waiting for him to confess his love to her. While Alec was worry of the classes differences, he was to scare to review his feeling to her. So slowly, Vicki was forced by her father to marry another man.

Yu Peng: And here is the wedding day!

Series ““ TURNING POINT ””

The music man began to play his piano, as the whole crown in the church was alert, and everybody became quiet, as they turned toward the door waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle with her father.

David, the groom, was waiting anxiously for his beautiful wife to come in. And finally, everyone gasped, as Mr Sanden appeared with his only daughter beside him, step by step they approached closer followed too the music.

Vicki’s eyes sadden, through the satin soft see through fabric, she glanced from side to side hoping to see he for the last time. But he wasn’t there, she was not surprised. After he had turned away from her love, how would he want to be at her wedding. Vicki turned her view, looking straight ahead, it was David, the man she fear so much, but soon, he will be her husband.

A certain pain went through her heart, as she asking why? How can Alec let her to be in this situation. He knew David is a mean person, only know how to play with his father fortune. He’s doesn’t love Vicki, he just want to have her for enjoyment. And yet Alec had done nothing to help her life from entering the gate of hell.

Finally the music stopped, when the bride reached to the destiny point. Everybody took their seat as the Mr Sanden hand over Vicki hand to David. “It was the end” Vicki thought, swallowing the tears inside of her, when sudden the enter door which been closed a while ago, now flung opened, as everyone gasped and turned over to have a look at the new entry.

Vicki turned a round, as she quickly flip the white sheet that covered her face to the top, leaving a clear picture of Alec. He was standing at the front door, bravely then ever.

-Vicki! He spoke out, firmly yet loudly, for everyone can hear, especially to David and Mr Sanden. Would you like to marry me, be with me instead of him! He looked softly into her eyes from a distance while pointing his finger indicated to David.

Vicki was overwhelmed, From that moment, she never regrets any second for loving him. Speechlessly, but she pulled her dress up, and began her walk to him. But at the same time, her arm got pulled back.

-Vicki! You can’t leave, you going to marry me, you’re going to be mine! Vicki turned back to look straightly at David face of determined, cruel and evil.

-No! She cried out, as everyone in the crown gasped in shocked…I’m not going to marry you..She continued on, while twisting away from this grab. I’m not yours, I don’t love you, I loved Alec! To take advantage of when David as in his astonishing stage, Vicki made her run straight to Alec, who been waiting for her at the door.

The moment he reached her hand, they both turned and start running for the door.

-Everyone, go and catch back the little miss for me! Mr Sanden ordered angrily, when suddenly David put his hand out for everybody to stop.

-Let’s me go! He replied senselessly, and coldly, as he began to run after the escaping couple at the front.

Alec never let go of Vicki hand, as they keep on running out of the driveway from the church.

-Come on Vicki! He encouraged, as she tried her best to run for her future.

But the wedding dress was in the way, Vicki suddenly tripped over it, as she fell down to the ground, pulling Alec also went down his her…

-Ouch. She cried the moment she hit ground, as Alec quickly get up and helped her to her feet.

-Come on, they’re catching up to us, come on! Vicki…

Vicki give all her best as she struggled to stand back on her feet, the moment she turned back for a quick check, was the same time, she saw David walking closer. Her eyes filled with fears as she saw David was pointing the gunpoint at Alec.

-If I can’t have you, no one can! David yelled out intensely, as held tight, the handgun that he just picked out from one of the guard, aiming directly at Alec.

Behind him, the crow started to walk outside to witness the dramatic scene.

Vicki watched on appalling for Alec safety, while Alec was continued on pulling her hand to run faster.

On seeing no reaction from Alec, David bites hard on his lower lip, as the quick count he pulled the trigger.

Vicki heard the bang, at the quick moment in her mind, she can think of nothing else, rather then to push Alec to the front, and she was stood still until the bullet hit right in her heart.

The crown started to yell, and scream with fight, seeing the newly bride fell down to the arm of her lover.

David was stunned, he never thought his bullet would get Vicki, as he paused back for a moment, and pointlessly turned back inside.

-Vicki! Vicki! Alec called out her name in caution, trying to see if she was still conscious. Don’t leave me, as he began to squeeze her tighter…Don’t leave me…

-Alec! Vicki whispered in her last breath…Before I go, can you say it to me! She begged him, as still now, she haven’t hear from him, the praise that she long wanting for him to say…

Alec looked on to her with sorrow, as he shook his head repeatedly, and slowly he tried to clear his voice and spoke out.

-Vicki! I love you. And slowly he bent down, planning the first kiss, and was also the last kiss on her lip. The moment their eyes were directly looking at each other, when his lips about to touch her.

-No, I can’t do this! Zhao Wei cried out as she pushed Yu Peng away from her body.

-Me too! Yu Peng followed, as they both turned over to the camera.

-CUT! The direction yelled out, as he looked straightly at his new stars. What the matter, didn’t we discuss this before. Vicki going to die, Alec kissed her and she dead, is that so hard.

By then Zhao Wei managed to stand up on her feet, and debating back.

-But I can kiss him, can’t you see the way he looked at me, he wanted to bite me not kiss me.

-Me, trying to bite you, hah? Yu Peng answered back…It’s was you who been clutching on to me too tight, see I even get fingernail prints. As he pulled up his sleeve and point out his arms, with only had a little mark in it.

-What happened in here? The direction asked out in confusion with his assistant. Who quiet standing beside, they thought everything was going so smoothly. So can get me their managers. The Director yelled out, as his assistant quickly ran out the back, while he sank back on his chair, watching at the young stars ranging on their argument, what worst, their mothers even joined in.

-Mummy! Did you see he was trying to bite me! Zhao Wei turned back to her mother, whose now was standing beside her.

-Absolutely! Ms Zhao supported, I even feared for you..

By then both Yu Peng and his mother Ms Su, overheard the conversation from the other side, as Ms Su can hold back her patient, no more, she pushed Yu Peng a side and stepped forward.

-Wah, lady, what are you saying, my boy here did not try to eat your daughter, have a look at this marks, that what your daughter did to my son.!

The two lady joining in with their argument, while their kids standing at each side encouraging.

The fight did not stop until Tim, and Rebecca, the manager agent of the young Zhao and Su stepped in, and stopped everybody.

To Yu Peng and Zhao Wei, their manager, were like a teacher or a coach for them, as finally they agreed to listen and take another try.

After settled with between the young actors and their mothers, the two managers, politely reported back to the director.

-hum..Mr Director, sorry for the misunderstand, we’re find now… Said out Yu Peng’s manager, Tim.

-Yes, it was their first intimated scene, so pleaded spare with them. Rebecca, Zhao Wei’s manager continued.

Mr Director, reluctantly agreed, as he began to set up for the scene again.

-Okay, camera crew get ready, lighting set up again, make-up give some touch to the face, plus, get some more blood on Vicki, she is dying for god sake… As everybody in the film crew, again ran and their job, a quick five minutes later…

-Okay, Light, camera.. “Turning point” Scene 20, act 1, take 2. ACTION!

A while later.

-Okay, light, camera.. “Turning point” Scene 20, act1, take 3 ACTION!

-“Turning point” Scene 20, act 1, take 5, ACTION!

-Scene 20, act 1, take 7, ACTION.

- TAKE 10, ACTION!

Well finally after ten trial takes, they finally got the kissing scene done. But Alec only kissed on Vicki’s forehead, instead of on her lips.

“So, that was your first time working together, not much for a first kiss!”

Zhao Wei: Oh, we barely know each other then, except, I been told that his mother stolen my mum’s boyfriend.

Yu Peng: Yeah, and my mother told me that her mother took away my mother’s first love. And she was like, you have to get that daughter of that lady for me!

Zhao Wei: So we didn’t bother on getting to know each other, we just want to revenge for out mother, in fact before we start to shoot the scene, my mum was like, try your best and hit that boy for me.

Yu Peng: And my mother did tell me to bite her…*laughed*

Both laugh, but that was only the first day.
“In ‘Turing point’ you were only the co-star, but earned major support on Vicki and Alec!”

Yu Peng: Oh, yes, the result was very surprising, People loved Vicki and Alec more than Jason and Jane, who were the main character, we only appeared toward the end! But people loved them, especially when Vicki died.

Zhao Wei: I think it the appreciation that they had for the young love. I mean during the show, they known that Vicki and Alec were in love, but they never had the change to confess. Once he had the courage to take her away on her wedding day, then she died, so there were sometime not finish, so that what kept the viewers attention.!

Yu Peng: The most funny thing was at the last scene, the kissing part! People after watching, I heard a lot of good compliments, saying how nice we acted, we well we expressed the painful feeling of the character..

Zhao Wei: But the true was, after 10 takes, we were all drained out, so he was sweating, people thought he cried, we they did use the eye drops on him. I was wash out, and people say I played dead so well.. *Laughed*

“So after “Turning point” did you guy still act together!”

Yu Peng: I truly thought, that was the end for us. Since the two mothers, and we did not get on well together as well. But after about 2 months when “Turning point” was aired. Tim called me up one day, and said. ‘You know that Zhao Wei you were co-staring with in ‘Turning point’.? I went ‘Yeahhhh’, and he goes ‘Well, you going to see her again’! *Smiled, winking at his wife*

Zhao Wei: Me and Yu Peng, both won the award for “Best new talent” of that year. Since the result for “Turning point” was over whelming, so the same Station that produced “Turning point” decided to get us together again. This time we had the leading roles in “Blame the Astro Stars, that we’re together!”. Directed by the same director of “Turning point”. We were surprised that director was happy to work with us again!

Chapter 3

Zhao Wei: ‘Blamed our Astro stars! That we’re together!’ Was our second series, after the succeed of ‘Turning point’, but I think the title got change, right honey! *She glanced over Yu Peng*

Yu Peng: When it was aired in Hong Kong, they changed the title to ‘Talking with Tiffany!’

Zhao Wei: It’s a comedy series. I played Tiffany! A radio hoster for a late talk show. People could ring up to Tiffany, and talk with her about any problems that they been having. With her psychology studied skill she would listen and give them advice.

Yu Peng: I played Su Ming Shing, a very old fashioned guy, who desperately wanted to make his girlfriend happy. But since he was too outdated, she got bored with him. So she rang up with Tiffany and reviews her problem with her, and that she also met a new person that more better then Ming Shing.

Zhao Wei: So after Tiffany gave her the advice, she went home and broke up with Ming Shing. So the next day Ming Shing came to the radio Station and had this big fight with Tiffany.

***TALKING WITH TIFFANY***

“This is TW Hot Radio, I’m Tiffany Cheung, welcome everyone to “Talking with Tiffany”.
If you had any problems about your family, your love life or society difficulty. Don’t hesitated just give me a call, and I will listen and hopefully advice you on the best solution for your problem. The number to call is 871-312-114. Now let we started straightaway with our first caller for tonight. Miss Lan, you’re on air. Hello?”

“Hello! Tiffany!?”

“Yes! I’m speaking to you”

“My name is Lan Luam”

“Hi! How can I help you?”

“Well, I been having problem with my boyfriend, and a new guy I just met, who’s really hot!”

**Here we go, another call on dumping their boyfriend** Tiffany frowned inside her head, as she been hearing about the same situation every night. A girl who met someone more better than their existing boyfriend, so they called up and asked her on methods to dumped their old one and go for new one, without been call cheater!

So Tiffany lost interested, but she still stayed on the line, until the girl finished describing how bad, boring her old boyfriend was compared to the new one. And finally Tiffany concluded with her own thought.

“Well, Lan Luam! I can tell, that you are in an unsolved problem, that needs to be fix as soon, as possible. Cause triangle love, never was a good sign. So all I can tell is listen to your heart, do what it best for you, but try to do it in a peaceful way, so you don’t hurt the other party! Okay!”

“Okay, I see what you mean”

“Good, I hope you will solve your problem soon. Have a good sleep for now. And so I we say goodbye to Miss Lan, Now let’s welcome our new caller, please…Mr…”

And the night went on.

The next day.

Tiffany’s talk show will not start until 10 pm. But by 8 pm, a young man with full frustration, already been standing out TW Hot Radio building, waiting for his victim, or his enemy.

By 9’30 Tiffany arrived. She parked her car in the lobby, and walked back up to the ground floor, as the automatic doors opened, she walked passed the anxious man. She stopped by the reception desk to pick up her mails, as always, Tiffany always had a large numbers of fan mails, and complained mails.

-Hi Julia! I got mails? Tiffany asked, as she gave Julia a friendly smile.

-Of course, what do you think, Tiffany. Here is your mails, packed like normal! Julia returned the smile, with a thick packed of postal mails.

-Thanks! Tiffany waved a quick goodbye after grabbed hold of the mails, and walked to the elevator.

The moment Ming Shing heard the name ‘Tiffany’ he quickly rushed inside to see a young lady just left the desk walking toward the elevator.

-Excuse me miss! As he rushed to the receptionist.. Who is that lady just walked in! Minh Shing pointed his finger to the lady standing by the elevator.

-Oh! She’s Tiffany Cheung. One of our famous Radios host. Julia was planning to move on with her promotion for Tiffany, until she realized that the young man already left, running forward like hell to where Tiffany was standing.

The elevator door finally opened, as Tiffany moved forward inside the lift, while her eyes were attaching to the mails. Suddenly she felt a certain force, pulled her body back out of the elevator. Tiffany turned around in shock, while she missed her elevator just closed behind her.

-Wah! She yelled, looking at the young man, holding on her arm, as she twisted herself out of his grip. What are you doing?

-You, You’re Tiffany Cheung? Ming Shing yelled back, as again he grabbed for her arms, so she won’t get away.

-What do you want? Tiffany asked. While looking around to find some help!

People from the station started pouring out as the security guards came over, trying to hold back Ming Shing away from Tiffany.

With the more help Tiffany finally broke free. Looking back at Ming Shing, whom were struggling in between two big security guards, and yet he still shouting out toward Tiffany.

-Wah, evil, how must you separated my girlfriend and me?

Tiffany paused, surely this was not the first time when some one come in to complain on her advice, because no job is perfect. But he was the craziest one.

-What? Who is your girlfriend and how can I separated you two. Tiffany asked back, from a distance away.

-Let me go! You big bully! Ming Shing raised his voice toward the two big guys as he grappled to escape from the tight grabbed.

-Let him go! Tiffany announced to the big guys, as they reluctantly let go of Ming Shing.

The moment he was free, Ming Shing was ready to rush over to where Tiffany was, until she noticed what was about to happen.

-Stand 10 metes away from me. Then we'll talk. She warned him, based from her past experience.

Ming Shing was not happy but he could do nothing else, then to stand still on the same spot, avoided all the curious eyes were looking at him. Of course inside he was scare, but to show his girlfriend that he still a brave man, he had to do it.

-Why did you tell my girlfriend to leave me? His question raged out from the distant, as Tiffany, relaxed back, thinking hard to herself.

-Who is your girlfriend? She asked, feeling just normal, but curious.

-Lan Luam, the lady that you gave the advice to last night. Ming Shing still shouting back his answer, as his eyes burning with fire when looking at her.

-Oh…Tiffany gave a big sighed to her realization, as the people turned their view peeping at her. So you’re that old boring boyfriend, I can see now why she wanted to leave you, very good choice! She replied cheekily while folding her arms together, standing bravely looking at him.

Ming Shing could not hold back on his patient, as he rushed faster to her. This time Tiffany did not refused, as she also stepped her way nearer to his.

Away near the camera, the little assistant, crawled his way to the Director chair.

-Mr director, the script supposed to end there, Tiffany suppose to walk in the elevator and leave, not engaging together…

-Shrrr. The director cut in, while his eyes were attaching closely to the young couple, who were basically playing out of the script, but to him it was interesting.. Let’s them move on! He said, as the assistant looked back at the set on playing in worry.

On the set, the out of script Tiffany and Ming Shing, were at close enough for them to start any fight.

-It’s all you’re fault, if you don’t stick your big mouth in our relationship, then she would never leave me.! Ming Shing started the blaming all over again.

-Look at you! How could any girls will want you? Seeing you now. I know I had given the best advice to your girlfriend, what ever her name is. Tiffany was raging out no less, as other people watched them in shock, and confused.

The fight went on and on, until the Director found it was enough, then he yelled, “CUT”

“Wow, that was such a fight!”

Zhao Wei: *Laughed* You think so! We just went right out of the script.

Yu Peng: Yeah, and without knowing it. Until when the Director yelled cut. And we were like, we haven’t done yet. And the people yelled out that we supposed to be done ages ago.

Zhao Wei: It was a very real fight, as we been persuaded our mothers, to be tough on each other and we did.

Yu Peng: Yeah, But I think you been too tough on me, you almost hit me, remember. *Yu Peng made a baby face, as Zhao Wei turned over to console him*.

Zhao Wei: Sorry, Honey! I didn’t mean it, I was just too intimated with the role.

“So what happen next between Tiffany, and Ming Shing. They doesn’t look like they going to be friend!”

Yu Peng: No they’re not. That was it for them, cause they were practically strangers.

Zhao Wei: But their mothers known each other cause they went to the same fortune teller, you know how old people believe in that stuff.

Yu Peng: So Tiffany and Ming Shing, were single for awhile, then their mother went to the fortune teller, to asked for the stars sign of their children’s perfect partner.

“And it ended up, with Ming Shing was the perfect astro star signs for Tiffany, and vice reversed.”

Yu Peng: Yes you got it!

“But how Tiffany and Ming Shing accept it!”

Zhao Wei: Well they don’t, it was a big controversy between mothers, and children. Cause Tiffany and Ming Shing, were totally against with the whole idea of them being together!

Yu Peng: But their mothers kept pushing them, and arranged opportunity for them to be together, but never work!

Zhao Wei: Until on that night!

Chapter 4

Well! Remember the first time Ming Shing met Tiffany. It was very tough right? But their mothers absolutely believed that their children were meant for each other. So not to waste any chances, the mothers away created circumstances for their children to be together. Like this one.

-Mummy, you known that my car is been fixing to day, why must you have to come to Mrs Su, right now? Tiffany complained to her mother while they were on the taxi going to Mrs Su (Ming Shing’s mother) house.

-Tiffany, you don’t have your car, but you don’t have to lock yourself up all day, one out for some fresh air. Mrs Cheung Tiffany’s mother exclaimed. But instead she truthfully had a plan worked out with Mrs Su. She knew Ming Shing would be at home, waiting to take Tiffany out.

The two mothers grew happier when they met each other, when their two children turned grumpy when they saw each other.

-Tiffany, I’m going to be here with Mrs Su for a while, why don’t you and Ming Shing go out for a break. Mrs Cheung offered.

-No needs mummy! Tiffany rejected. I’ll go home, you can ring me when you want to leave. She was using the excuse, so she could withdraw herself from any mystery plans of the mothers.

-Oh, I heard you came here my taxi.! Mrs Su cried out, as quickly she pushed Ming Shing forward. A-Shing, why don’t you take Tiffany home.

-Me? Ming Shing was shocked.

-Him? Oh, No need Mrs Su. I’m fine by myself.

-No it’s getting dark, Ming Shing don’t you listen to me anymore, take Tiffany home. Mrs Su pushed against her son’s unwillingness.

By the pressure from the mothers. Ming Shing and Tiffany can’t argue as he agreed to take her home by his car, and she agreed to go with him

After a long quiet drive, Ming Shing pulled his car in front of her house. Tiffany coldly replied a thank you, and turned to get out of the car. But she suddenly paused back for a second, noticing a strange man was standing at her gate. Then, without wanting to make a big thing out of it, she hesitantly walked out the car. Ming Shing turned around as she gone and also he spotted the strange looking man, but he didn’t take much serious, and then turned the car wheel, he was on his way to home.

Tiffany stood still by the street side, after Ming Shing’s car drove out, as she was working out the best solution. The man didn’t look friendly, and he was standing at her gate. From past experienced, she sensed the man was after her for revenge, so quickly she turned and walked forward on the street, instead of turning to her house.

But it was too late, as the man saw her puzzled look, he quickly chased after her and called out.

-Wah Lady! Are you Tiffany Cheung! He yelled behind her back. As Tiffany shook her head quickly and continued walking.

But the man sensed that it was the person he been waiting for, so he ran forward and grabbed at her hand.

-Hey! What are you doing? Tiffany yelled out, as she strangled to be free.

-You’re Tiffany Cheung, the big mouth on that radio show, right? The man shook Tiffany’s hand violently as she shakily denied herself to get out of the trouble.

-Ai yah. No, I’m not, You’re mistaken…!..

Ming Shing was waiting for the red light just a block away, when he viewed what happening from his side mirror. As human nature, he quickly reserved the car, and walked out to see what was happening.

-You, you..! Because of you that my wife took the kids and leave me, now, tonight I will finish off your big mouth! The man continued to raise on his voice, as he put out his fist about to punch on Tiffany..

-Ahhh!..She cried while looking at the big punch which was coming to her, as a quick reaction, she ducked down her head, and crawl out from below. The man missed his hit turned angrier, as he chased forward to catch back Tiffany.

The street was dark and empty, no one left, excepted for Ming Shing, who was approaching when the same time Tiffany slammed her body in to his.

-Aiyah..She cried, while looking up at the person…Ah…Ming Shing, that guy want to kill me, get him, get him…As she pushed him forward to the angry man, and hidden herself behind his back.

-Who is he again? And why must he want to kill you? Ming Shing asked to her at his back, while he was getting ready for the big guy.

-He’s my stalker…Aiyah..Take care…Tiffany cried out even louder, when she saw the man already reached to her, she quickly went down to hide her body, while Ming Shing, bravely stood out to fight.

The man gave out a few punches and kicks, Ming Shing managed to escaped from a few, and got hit by a few. But with the finally big hit on the face, Ming Shing caught it all, as his body fell slamming to the ground, accidentally hit straight to the lamb post. Tiffany been standing in fear, as the moment she saw Ming Shing went down, then quickly she ran over and helped him.

The big man finally stopped, as he saw the big bump on Ming Shing forehead, and the small bleeding cut on his arm. Realizing he seriously hurt someone, the man quickly took his turn and ran, while Tiffany slowly helped Ming Shing into her house.

-CUT, yelled the director… Everybody called it the night, we’ll pick up from here, tomorrow.

When the yelled “Cut”, Zhao Wei, quickly let go of Yu Peng, and went back to her dressing room, carelessly of his condition. Mrs Su rushed to her son, and helped him up. Even thought the bleeding and the bump were faked, but Yu Peng did get hit hardly almost like real.

-Aiyah! Yu Peng you looked like you just had been bashed up by someone! Mrs Su spoke out in concerned

-Where have you been Ma! Didn’t you see me then! Yu Peng cried out, while rubbing on his back where he was kicked the most.

-Gosh, that stupid Zhu Jing, he was only suppose to be acting! Mrs Su complained and at the same time she turned and saw Zhu Jing (the guy who acted as the insane stalker) walked passed from a distance. She was about to call him over, until Yu Peng put up his hand to stop her.

-Don’t create chaos in here Ma! I think he just over acting.

With that Mrs Su laid off, then mother and son walked back to his dressing room. Unnoticed to them, the actor Zhu Jing, was walking his way to Zhao Wei’s room.

-Zhu Jing, you did well, here is your bonus! As Mrs Zhao pleased when she saw Zhu Jing, and happily paid off the rest of his rewards for hitting Yu Peng “real”.

Zhu Jing said thank you and disappeared back to his area, just after that Zhao Wei pulled her mum in the room, since she had finished changing.

-Mummy! What did you just say you Zhu Jing, and why did you give him money! Zhao Wei asked to her mother, out of her innocent.

-Hum..Mrs Zhao tried to control her grin… Did you see Zhu Jing performed so well before. She brightly asked to her daughter.

-Um, I remembered now since you mention it. Wow that Zhu Jing surely got some talent to play the bad guy, he hit Yu Peng just like real. But with Zhao Wei naïve replied, Mrs Zhao just laughed out of it.

-He acted so well, because I asked him to.

Zhao Wei gasped in surprised, but then slowly it gotten into her mind, of what her mother was trying to do, taking revenge on her enemy’s son. Very cleaver she thought at that time.

All this years passed, Yu Peng never know that Zhao Wei’s mother would pay someone to hit him for real while they were on the set of “Talking with Tiffany”, until now, and he was not very please about it! So Zhao Wei had to cheer him up.

Zhao Wei: Honey! *She said, pulling on his sleeve, as Yu Peng put on a grumpy face.*

Yu Peng: I never thought that the reason why I got hit badly during that scene, It was because of you and your mother.

Zhao Wei: Aiyah, it was not my idea, that from mother, I just happen to support for her a bit. But by that time, whose know that we’re going to end up together. Sorry..Sorry okay! *As she put up her hand and turned his grumpy face around to face her, and gently she kissed a soft one on his cheek.*

Yu Peng anger melted at the exact moment, as he put his hand around her neck, and started pulling her closer, as he returned another passionate kiss on the lips of his adorable wife.

“Um…huh!..Please guys, can we move on with the story!”

Yu Peng and Zhao Wei shyly loosen their grip on each other, both were blushing bright red, as they turned back to the story.

Zhao Wei: Okay, let’s go back to the next day, as we filmed the next scene, when Tiffany took Ming Shing to her house, and they were alone.

Coming back to the set of “Talking to Tiffany”

-Okay! Everyone in the possible “Talking to Tiffany” Act 18, take 1, ready! As Mr Director gather everyone to start on the take.

Zhao Wei, left her mother after the last check on her look. Yu Peng also just left the make up artist who making sure there was a red bump on his forehead, and a bleeding cut on his lower arm.

-Zhao Wei! Yu Peng, take your place! The director informed, as Zhao Wei and Yu Peng reluctantly glanced at each other, then took their seat on the sofa, in the living room of “Tiffany”
Like all the other times, when they were about to shot a scene, the director will give out a briefly summary of what the scene is and how he want his actors and actresses to be.

-Okay! My favored stars! In this scene Tiffany and Ming Shing will develop that first moment. So Zhao Wei, I liked Tiffany to be touched, soft and gently as Ming Shing just rescued her from the danger. And Yu Peng, I want Ming Shing, to act as a gentleman, when the first time he found the lady who being on his nerve was extremely sweet and attractive. Okay! The director warpped up while looking directly at the young stars who were in their position.

Both nodded in agreement, but when they turned over to each other, Zhao Wei whispered.

-Don’t take this as peace!

-I referred to fight better! Yu Peng relied.

Chapter 5

Tiffany already helped Ming Shing to sit down on her sofa, and now, she was using an ice bag to apply on the big plump on his forehead..

-I’m so sorry I pulled you in to this! She apologized for the unwanted incident. Ming Shing gave a little cry from the pain, but he tried not to show it too much.

-Don’t worry! Who’s that guy, anyway? He asked, interested to find out.

-He’s one of mine stalker. She replied, while putting down the ice bag and exchange for a medicine cream and started to apply on where he was hurt.

-Wow, Ming Shing cried, while trying to stay still for her. Do you get many insane stalkers like that?

Tiffany rolled her eyes in circle, trying to collect all the revenge incidents like that, which she had met.

-Um…I received a lot of letters, and phone calls. But stalker, that came to attack me, are only two, his guys was the first time at my house. But I do get a lot of advantage.

-What advantage? He asked in curious. While she turned to looked at him sweetly with a smile.

-Well, you see, I’m a radio star, not a movie star, most people don’t know what I’m look like, so they usually missed me on the street.

Ming Shing broke out laughter to her amusement, suddenly he remembered of something.

-And what was the other time! Tiffany looked down at him in fury, she slowly put down the cream on the table, picked up a bandage, but before she stared to turn back, she replied.

-Well, the first time, was you, at my work place remember! Ming Shing broke out in realization to her cheeky tone in reply.

-Ohh…He frowned…I was very silly then right?

-Yeap! Tiffany quickly nodded, as she tried to control her laughter, while putting the bandage on his forehead.

-Sorry, I regret it now! He slowly spoke out, while watching closely as her caring action, she was sitting very close to him, that he could felt her breath, hear her heart.

-There, that’s the last one! Tiffany cried out of relief as she moved her head, which was watching above his forehead downward, until she suddenly met with his gently eyes, looking at her.

They were both confused but some how, felt good while looking at one another, this was the first time, they managed to stay so close to each other, and yet not a piece of argument was in their mind.

-Tiffany! Suddenly he whispered out her name for the first time, but the tone was just so soft and sweet, when he also moved his arm to push on her back.

-Um? Tiffany managed to humble back, while pushing herself closer, yet their eyes still attached.

It was like God had pinched their names together, at either of them could do anything to broke out of the passion stared. Then their faces moved closer, at the moment, they were ready to plan the first kiss, when at the same time, to phone rang.

“Ring……Ringgggg…Ringgggggg….”

Tiffany and Ming Shing both jumped up in fright to the sudden ring, he relief when realized it was only the phone, while she stood up and went over to listen to the phone call.

-Hey! Mum. Tiffany asked aloud as if she wanted Ming Shing to know who was on the phone, and he stayed clam listening to her.

-Tiffany, are you home? Ms Cheung asked out from the other line.

-Yes! Mum, I’m at home. She replied in puzzled.

-Had Ming Shing left, cause he hasn’t back home yet?

Tiffany went all fussy looking for the right answer.

-Ming Shing…Um…She flustered, while looking at him for help.

As the call of his name, Ming Shing would have guest. He stood up and tried to indicate some signs to help her. First he started to walk in one place.

-Um..Ming Shing, is walking.. Tiffany answered to the phone?

-What? The other line asked out.

Ming Shing frowned in silent, as he waved his hand, saying that was not what he meant, and then he continued walked to the door and open it, while Tiffany followed his action.

-Um..No I meant Ming Shing, is opening the door.

-What?

“Nooo” Ming Shing whispered, while slapping on his forehead, accidentally hit himself on where it was hurt.

-Aiyah! Ming Shing, is hurt mum! She cried out while wanting to run over and see whether he is alright.

-What? What are you talking about Tiffany? Where is Ming Shing, is he hurt? Mr Cheung confusingly asked out.

Ming Shing, quickly relaxed himself to clam her down, for the last time, he opened the door again, then walked out, and closed it.

-OH…Mum..Tiffany sighed, as she finally got what Ming Shing was trying to tell her. Um..No, Ming Shing is not hurt, I said I heard him just left. Tiffany was happy with the answer.

-Okay! Well, you can come and pick me up now!

-Okay! Mum, let me see if I can catch Ming Shing and may be he can give to a lift to his home!

Tiffany hung up the phone and quickly rushed out the door, she immediately found him, still standing outside.

-Is it done? He asked while looking lovingly at her red face, Tiffany too given to him to sweetest nice he had ever seen before.

-Yes! Mum told me to pick her up. She replied, while stepped out closer to him. Um…do you know how shaky I was.

-Yes, I can see it. He teased her, as she gave him a slight slap on his cheek, suddenly she remembered how his forehead been hit by himself before.. Are you alright? She asked concernedly checking over the bandage with her finger.

Ming Shing slowly pulled her hand down, and gently pressed against his lips, and his kissed it, while Tiffany blushed again.

-Ofcouse, I’ll be alright with such a caring person watching over me!

Tiffany shyly pulled for hand out, and mischievously she replied to him.

-Um…I said I care for you… With that she pushed him over to one side and ran in the house.

Ming Shing smiled pleadingly as he also walked inside after her. It looked like their hatters between each other were never existed.

“So how did Ming Shing and Tiffany get along?”

Zhao Wei: They went on just fine, where there a few small misunderstanding here and there, but they worked out in the end.

Yu Peng: When their mothers found out, they got extremely happy and gone back to thanks the fortuneteller, but she moved.

“So how did the show end?”

Zhao Wei: The show ended with Ming Shing came back to the radio station, and proposed to Tiffany while she was on air.

Yu Peng: It was very sweet I think. Tiffany gone to work liked a normal night. When she received a phone call. It was a man asking for whether she would want to spend the rest of her life with him, and ofcouse when he showed himself with a bunch of roses and a ring, she agreed.

“Wow…So it a happy ending? So the success must be more overwhelming the ‘Turning point’?”

Yu Peng: Oh sure, even when we were filming it, we received a lot of prediction from the media, but everything that went on in the show was kept as a secret.

Zhao Wei: But everyone was like waiting patiently for it, so when the series was on air, it hit the top rating in most of the week.

“Together, she also sang the title song for the series, so were you planning to step into the music industry as well?”

Yu Peng and Zhao Wei broke out to laughter, as they looked at each other recapturing the old moment.

Yu Peng: The producer, actually had the idea for us to sing the title song, Zhao Wei and I had a little of music background, cause our mothers raised us up for we to be famous, so we had to learned every little thing when they were young.

Zhao Wei: They asked out, between Music school or Acting school, we had to pick on. So both of us picked acting and that leaded us to each other later on.

Yu Peng: After we just finished filming the last scene for the show, they producer came to us, and asked ‘Can both of you sing?’

Zhao Wei: We went like ‘Um…so of…’ But he just flicked his finger and goes.

Yu Peng: Alright, I’ll let you try on the title song. And we were like, us singing.

Zhao Wei: Our mother didn’t let us to refuse, so we took the shoot, but the recording was not done until the series was about to be on air.

Yu Peng: We also made a MTV clip for the song, and released it just one week before the series to do promotion.

Chapter 6

“CUT” the director, yelled out again, as everybody went back to square one. Zhao Wei and Yu Peng had been standing on a moving platform together, now they relaxed and stepped down from the platform.

-What does he wants now? Zhao Wei frowned about the new director that they had to work with for the first time. Mr Zhou, he was one of the most favored director for creating attractive MTV clip. Beside him was their old Director, Mr Bondie.

-What did I ask you two before we started? Mr Zhou disappointedly yelled out at the young couple walking to him.

-We known, and we been trying for half a day! Yu Peng frowned back, feeling very tied of the whole Music clip thing.

-But that not enough! Mr Zhou yelled out again, as he enjoyed taking advantage over new comer, they can’t yell back to him…You two acting like you are totally strangers. I wanted intimated, I wanted passion, I wanted romance, and you guys are no where near that. Mr Zhou kept raging out his voice, slapping his hands together at the end of every comma.

-Hey! We had been giving you out best shot! Zhao Wei cried out, wishing if her mother was there to defended for her, but unfortunately, none of their mothers came in that day.

-How can we acted intimated when we don’t even like each other.! Yu Peng pushed in again.

Mr Zhou by this time turned pale green, looking at the young actors debating with him. It was very uncommon. But what surprised the most was that he learned they didn’t like each other.

-What? He shouted out, by then Rebecca and Tim, the two managers, together with Mr Bondie, their old director, who had a great experience in working with the stubborn couple.

-Aiyah, Mr Zhou! Please understand they’re very young in the field. Rebecca started with her claming voice.

-Yes, and they haven’t play a lot of intimated scene together! Tim added in.

Mr Zhou wiped off the sweat on his forehead, as he turned in Mr Bondie in wonder.

-How did you manage to get them in the series.?

-Oh…believe me you’ll get use to them…Mr Bondie replied back with a friendly smile. He known very well, how difficult it was every time Zhao and Su worked together, but because they were on the top list of the Station, so everyone had to put up with all of their fights.

-Alright! Mr Zhou finally gave up…Let’s have another try! He ordered to the whole camera crew to get the set ready again.

Tim and Rebecca both relief as they quickly rushed over to their young stars, who were adding on their make up.

-Zhao Wei, come on try one more time. Don’t think at him as the person you hate, then you’ll be find…Rebecca consoled

-How can I do that, when I can’t even look at his face! Zhao Wei rebutted.

-Well, think like this, Mr Zhou very tricky, and he will not let you go, if he doesn’t received the standard that be been looking for. You could be here forever!

Zhao Wei gasped on the warning, is it worth it for her to stay back here for the rest of her life? She wondered.

Over the other side of Yu Peng, Tim was using the same trick.

-Yu Peng, if you can’t act close with Zhao Wei, then Mr Zhou will never stop the work. You already know that he’s a very famous director, and he will not let anyone go on top of him.

Yu Peng looked at Tim in disbelieved, but thinking how he had spent all morning, trying to shot a 3 minutes music clip. Yu Peng had to agree with it.

-Alright, everybody let’s ready! Mr Zhou yelled out for the last time, while Zhao Wei and Yu Peng still tried to fix up their clothes and hair at the same time, walked back on to the set.

It was a very simple set, with a deep blue as the background, Zhao Wei and Yu Peng dressed in white pants and floppy soft shirt, were supposed to stand on a wheeled platform, when the music on, their platform will be moved from side to side. On the left was a big fan, creating the wind. And the young couple had to act romance every time they came near to the fan. By that time, Yu Peng will stand behind Zhao Wei, and hugging from her back. Zhao Wei hair will be blowing free to create a warm windy, romance feeling. As well as that, they have to sing with the song.

-Okay! Light, camera, music…and ACTION! Mr Zhou ordered. As again the already recorded music were played, the platform started to move, and Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, began to hug on each other, moving their lips to the words.

*Wow, looked like it was a tough time, when filming that music clip.*

Yu Peng: It was unbelievable, we kept doing and doing it again and again, yet the director was many happy. So we ended up wasting a whole 12 hours day for it.

Zhao Wei: I yet at the end, only about more than 1second of the set was used. Cause the director had to put in some clips from the actual movie. It’s like a promoting thing. And the song only lasted for 4 minutes.

“So was the song released before the series was air? Did you do a big promotion for everything”

Zhao Wei: ‘When our eyes first met’ released one week before the series, in everywhere. But at that time each of us were involved in other movie project. It was my just movie, and it was his second.

Yu Peng: We were shooting at a different location, so the promotion for the song ended up with Zhao Wei took it to China, then Taiwan, and Hong Kong. While I took it at Singapore where I was filming at the time, and went over to Malaysia.

Zhao Wei: But for the promotion of the series. Due to the request of the producer, we attend together in Taiwan and Hong Kong. While preparing for the “People Choice Award night”.
Which came a month later after the show was aired.

“I heard you received a few nominations at the People Choice Award, which was voted on 100% by viewers?”

Yu Peng: We both nominated separated for most popular Actor, and Actress. Also together as most popular Couple.

Zhao Wei: Our series was in it was well, both of them. “Turning Point” and “Talking with Tiffany!” And “When our eyes first met!” was also in the most popular theme song column. So we had to perform live together at the Award.

Yu Peng: Cause every song that was nominated had to perform live at the Award night. And our producer let us go, instead of picking another singers. So it was a first time live singing duet for us.

“Did you had to practice a lot?

Yu Peng: Oh yes, 1 week, it took. Cause it a big show, everything had to be prefect, plus it a live show as well.

Zhao Wei: I was very stressed and scared, cause it was the first time for me to attend at the People Choice Award, but we had to do so many things. And no mistake excepted.

*Okay! You heard our stars describing of the People Choice Award night, so why not go and see it for yourself!*

You can imagine it was a big night similar to any Glamour Awarding night. Stars gathering and enter through the glamour hallway, where fans are yelling out from two sides of the security fence.

Yu Peng arrived earlier with his mother and his manager Tim. Zhao Wei arrived about 5 minutes later with her mother and manager Rebecca. The moment they were spotted by their fans, loud screams began to call out for their names, and people reaching over for their autograph. With the tips given earlier by their managers, Zhao Wei and Yu Peng together walked over to the crowned people and started signing autograph to please everyone. They had to put out the greatest smile as they were touched of so many fans, calling out their names, commenting their good look, and proposing their great admiration toward to the young stars

But soon Zhao Wei and Yu Peng had to say good bye to the outrageous fans and moved down into the stadium. Not long after that, just before we could get pass the gate, they were stopped again. This time by reporter taking pictures, and TV station, both Zhao Wei and Yu Peng got pulled out in two sides and were interviewed briefly by two different radio station, and yet their managers always beside them, helping the young stars to get through something that they never done before.

-Zhao Wei? How are you! Greeted the male reporter, as he came over and gave Zhao Wei a big hug.

-Thank you! I’m very exciting at the moment! She gently replied after the hug broke out.

-So, I see fans are pulling you over already, how do you feel about tonight so far? Another question, as the reporter moved the microphone over to Zhao Wei.

-OH… pretty wonderful at the moment. It’s my first time being here and it’s such a pleasure! The bright smile would never disappear on her face.

-Oh, and I loved your dress, you look just fabulous! As the reporter gave a search on Zhao Wei customs, she picked a very simple semi see through purple kneel length dress, mixed glamorously with a little golden ban. Her short length layer hair was down as normal, giving a young natural, yet very stylish look. Not a bad dresses.

-Thank you! She replied…My manager and my mum picked it for me!!

-So you are nominated in Best Actress, and Best couple with Su Yu Peng. Which one you think you would win?

Zhao Wei glanced over to Rebecca, before carefully answered the question.

-Well, I don’t think I would win any. But really it already such a great honor to the nominated in those categories. So I’m felt like I won already.

-Oh! You’re so sweet! Alright! Wish you luck with all the best, and I’ll step out of your way for now. Thank you Zhao Wei.

Zhao Wei quickly nodded a thank you to the reporter and to the camera, before heading on to move inside.

Now let we turned back to Yu Peng who been interviewing by a female reporter from different TV Station.

-Yu Peng? You’re such a charming prince tonight! Look at all those girls over there calling out for you!

Yu Peng gave a great laughed, as he waved back to his fans who immediately jumped out with joy on receiving his wave.

-Well, tonight it’s such an important night, I don’t want anything to go wrong.

-Well, I know you will be doing the duet with Zhao Wei later! Have you been looking forward to it?

-Ah yes! I never perform live before, in yet such a big show, so still very nervous for it, so finger crossed. Yu Peng made a cute unsure face to camera expression his nervousness.

-Don’t worry I’m sure you’ll be fine! The reporter consoled back, hugging on his back…You had been nominated for two awards, and what would you do if you win!

-Well, I think my manager already arrange a gathering party with the producer and all the crews to thanking them for helping achieved who I am today.

-And I’m sure Zhao Wei will be there. Cause you guys such a cute couple together, ever thinking of a real date?

Yu Peng frustrated in the same moment, as he stared over to Tim. So put out for him a peace sign. Hesitantly he turned back to the camera.

-It’s not all depend on me! What will happen? Will! That not going to happen? Won’t.

The ceremony started in one of the most glamorous show room. With all the stars sitting at the ground floor. The one whom were nominated sat on their group table nearer to stage. Upstairs above were all normal fans, which came to support their favored stars.

Zhao Wei and Yu Peng sat on the same table with the other combined stars from “Turning point” and “Talking with Tiffany”, while their manager sat back to back with them on a different table together with the director and producer manager.

A good 20 minutes went by and it was time for “The most popular couple of the year” Award. Last year best actress came out to present the Award. After a quickly introduction of the five nominated couples. She stared to open the envelope.

-And the winners for “The most popular couple of the year” go to…She glanced down at the paper and brightly look up to the camera. Just as I thought Su Yu Peng and Zhao Wei, of the top hit series “Talking with Tiffany”

Lights started flashing on their table, crowns started to cheer for the winner, as both Zhao Wei and Yu Peng turned to the other side to hug on their mother. Before they were about to leave for the stage, they still managed to hear their manager voice whispering from the back.

“Lady first, and try to hold hand, acted close”

The camera was on them, as Yu Peng reluctantly put out this hand to lead Zhao Wei up the stage and she-unwilling place her hand on his. And together they make their way up the stage, receiving congratulations along the way.

The fans in audiences started to cheer even louder the moment they saw their favored couple stepped on the stage, appeared so close together. The Awards were handed to Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, and they were left alone on the stage with 3 minutes of thanking speech.

Remembered of lady first. Yu Peng led a hand for Zhao Wei to spoke first.

-Wow…Her eyes sparkles in amazed viewing the large number of audience, and her fans flashing their touch at her…This is such a honor. I never thought I would win, so I haven’t written down anything yet, so please excuse me! The crowned broke out with laughter for her naïve, as she continued…Well, I would had to start with thanking my manager, Rebecca, who giving me such courage. The TWN Station, producer, directors, for believed in me, and camera crews, all the casts. To my beautiful mother, this is for you mum. And lastly.. She had to say what she doesn’t want to mention. Thank you to my co-star, Su Yu Peng.

She quickly stepped down as Yu Peng moved up, not looking directly at her..

-Well, I also like to thank Tim, my manager who liked my greatest teacher. The Station, the producer and director, for putting up with me…All the before to worked behind the scene to build the show. All the casts, I think you’re all wonderful. To my wonderful mother…And ofcouse, I can’t miss her, Zhao Wei. He spoke out the last sentence unwillingly inside.

People started to clap and cheer again, as Zhao Wei and Yu Peng gave the last wave and began to walk inside, when a girl from upstairs yelled out

“I loved Vicki and Alec” Zhao Wei blow a kiss to that girl as Yu Peng waved gently with a killer smile to her, and walked inside, where their managers been waiting for them.

-Don’t worry everybody. As the MC came out to continue on with the show…There will be more of Zhao Wei and Yu Peng later.

And sure there will be, as Zhao Wei and Yu Peng both had to perform for their song later. So Rebecca and Tim were inside the backstage held on to the award and stopping the reporter while Zhao Wei and Yu Peng both had to change into their custom for the song. “When our eyes first met!”

Chapter 7

-Dear everyone, for our next performance for the last nominated best theme song of the year, will be feature on a young couple. They invaded into the Entertainment world, just one year ago and took away millions of love hearts from their died hard fan. A few months ago, they each were given a Golden Award for the most out standing new talents. Tonight, they took away the Award for the best couple. So now please welcome them back to the stage, time this singing the Theme song from TW producer most popular series “Talking with Tiffany”. Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present you “When out eyes first met” With ZHAO WEI and SU YU PENG.

When the MC just finished the introduction, the curtain began to move up, as people were clapping louder, fans were calling out their names, whistling through the crown, waiting hard to see their stars on the stage.

Curtain been lift showing a full simple stage, with a deep sparkle blue background. In a quick moment, there was a special lighting effect, and soon the spotlights came out focussed on Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, standing at the two sides of the stage. They both were in white, with pants and a soft shirt, there were sparkle on the hemline, helping the custom to stand out among the bright stage. The music started, as they slowly moved closer together, followed behind was a few dancers, creating a rhythm to the stage.

Vocal echo: “What is fade?
What is destiny?
We just don’t see it!
How did it come to be?

(Female): People say, we meant for each other,
But I don’t care, why should I be bother!

(Male): People says, our fade lay together.
But that unreal, we just can’t stand each other!

While Yu Peng and Zhao Wei continued on their song on the stage, there was a exciting news been released by their Managers Tim and Rebecca to the news reporter in the backstage.

-Is it true, Zhao Wei and Yu Peng are dating? One of the reporters confirmed the news again, as Tim and Rebecca nodded constantly to the reply.

-But why they never talk about it? Another question was raised, as Tim quickly took the chance.

-You know they both are really new here (entertainment business), so they didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.

There were a few more surprising gasps among the crown, as Tim and Rebecca indicated to each other a successful winked on their plan.

-So when did they start? More questions were coming as they picked on the soon will be “Most talk-about topic”

-Or, Wei and Peng started to get on very well during “Turning point” and as a young couple, they never wasted their chances. This time, Rebecca joined in the front.

-Wow, so the fight in “Talking with Tiffany” was purely acting! Wow I thought it was so real. They’re such great young actors. As the first compliment raised, followed by a few others.

“The idea of Wei and Peng together, had been carefully planned out by the director, producer and the two managers, in order to catch attention for “Talking with Tiffany” while it was on air, and also to helped the young actors achieved for focus. But either Zhao Wei or Yu Peng had any idea about it. Until…They finished their song, and walked their way in the backstage to catch a whole bunch of camera lights were flashing all at the same time at them”

-Wow..What’s got on to everybody! Yu Peng cried out in shock, while putting up his arms to cover the bright lights. Beside him Zhao Wei was no different.

The group of reporters took no chance to wait, as they all rush in surrounded the young couple, digging out some more hot news, on the topic of them been dating.

-Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, when are you decided to make it official? The first question raised out, as Zhao Wei first recovered from the shock of the light, now she turned into the shock of reporters.

-Make what official? She asked out in confused, but noticing it was a media place, she tried her best to keep her expression bright and shine.

-Are you two planning to get marriage soon? Another question rushed out among the crown, as Yu Peng and Zhao Wei turned at each other in shock.

-Who’s marriage whom? Yu Peng turned back the question in total frustration.

In only about 5 minutes since they came back from the main stage, but both Zhao Wei and Yu Peng had been taken from one shock to another, and every time it just got scarier. At the final point, they were about to cry out loud, when received the most outrageous rumor that they never imaged.

-All, we heard you guys have been dating for awhile now! The main point spoke out. As immediately, Tim and Rebecca pushed to the crown, to control the situation.

So before Zhao Wei or Yu Peng could open their mouths, they found their managers had took over the job, in a very unexpected excuse.

-Um…People sorry Zhao Wei and Yu Peng had to change and get back down stage! Tim yelled out to prevent further questions.

-Yes, they have to wait for their Best Actor and Best Actress result. Rebecca helped in.

When Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, still wanted to find out more about the fiction news about them two dating, but Tim and Rebecca were more quickly and stronger, as they rushed the two stars to the changing room.

“Wow, that surely was a night you’re never going to forget!”

Yu Peng: Oh yes, you’re right! It was too much to take in.

Zhao Wei: Especially the last part, I remembered pulling Rebecca in the changing room with me to ask her what was going on. She explained and said “It was help your career very much, you don’t have to do anything, just stay closer with him in Public.”

Yu Peng: I pushed Tim on one side, warning him, that I will not change if he’s not going to tell me. So he told me, but basically the same with Rebecca.

“So how did the night finished”

Yu Peng: we came back to the seat, but both of us missed out on the best actors and actress Award.

Zhao Wei: When the night finished, we didn’t stay for the after party. We had to pull our managers home, so they can explain what had been spread to the media.

“And how did your mothers take it them?”

Zhao Wei: Um..Then was bad.

Yu Peng: Very bad!. They first objected all the way. Cause they never want us to stay close with each other.

Zhao Wei: But Tim and Rebecca used the benefit reason for our career, when we will stay to get even more attention.

Yu Peng: So, Mothers had to agree to it.

“Especially when you two just took away the Award of best Couple. You got evidence to show there!”

Yu Peng: Yep, and that too.

“So did you continue to work together!”

Zhao Wei: Yeah, after about another 3 months, we found ourselves acting together with each other again in ‘Another chance’. It from the same producer that we been contracted with in our passes two series. Except for a new director, and the story line was different.

“I heard the director was actually Ms Nan Yan one of the most popular director in Romance movie.!”

Yu Peng: Yes, it was a pleasure for both of us, and we learned a lot from her, since it was our first time staring a romance series.

“Since you started in another series together, did the dating topic get raise up as well?”

Zhao Wei: What do you think? When the media found out our new contract together, they totally believed that we had something together.

Yu Peng: But in fact we still very much on each other nerve, but somehow our managers keep putting us to work together. But later we found out the reason.

Zhao Wei: Cause Tim and Rebecca, had their eyes on each other then. That’s why we always looked for chances to work together, and that mean.

“So what were your characters?”

Yu Peng: I played Van An, a photographer for modeling agency. He had a deep love with his best friend, Yee Er. But she never noticed him, she only sees him as a friend, and she felt for another guy. But when the accidentally read in Van An’s dairy and found out his feelings for her, she became frustrated, and paused back with her boyfriend. Cause Van An was her bestfriend, so she didn’t want to hurt him. But later on, Van An found out Yee Er never love him as he loved her, she’s only care for him, and doesn’t want to cause him hurt. Then Van An decided to help Yee Er to be with her true love.

“And your character Zhao Wei, was not Yee Er!”

Zhao Wei: Um, No. I played Ji Ying. She’s a very modern and straightforward girl. Pretty much like me. As a model’s instructor, she worked with Van An a couple of times, and began to grow feelings for him. But she knows he already in loved with someone else. So she respected him as a friend. When Van An needed someone to help him, Ji Ying was there. But then more and more Ji Ying began to see that his heart was already been taken, so politely, she left the game!

“Sounded like a love triangle, going in one direction.”

Zhao Wei: Yeah, similar to that!

“So will Ji Ying and Van An find each other, at the end?”

Yu Peng: Um…Why don’t you wait, and read on to ‘Another chance’

Chapter 8

Quietly then, the door opened as a stylish middle aged woman entered in the room. She waved her hand friendly to Ji Ying, who turned over and returned with a warmth smiled and continued on watching the models.

When the music stopped, everyone relaxed as Ji Ying promptly gathered everybody in a circle.

-Okay guys! Pretty good for the first day, But next time, Georgina, I liked you to move out first, Jennifer takes your steps slower. And everyone else, remember up there, your always be beautiful, confidant and you can do anything. Okay!… The whole group of teenager girls softly took on the advice as together they nodded.

-Okay, that’s enough for today, everybody can take their break now!… The moment Ji Ying dismissed the group, she brightly turned over and started approaching to the stylish woman, who been waiting for her at one corner.

-Ji Ying! How are you? The stylish woman greeted when Ji Ying came over and gave her the warm hug.

-Hi sis! I’m fine, what are you doing here? Ji Ying asked out in surprised as she tapped on her sister in-law, Hue Lan’s shoulder.

-Ji Ying, you asked your brother for a photographer, right? Hue Lan cheerfully put out the question.

Ji Ying quickly nodded, but before she could answer, the door to the studio once again been opened disturbed the ladies conversation as they turned their face to greet the new comers.

-Ji Ying xiao jie! An elder man cried out teasingly toward his only sister. Followed him was another young man, who shyly smiled at the two ladies.

-Brother! You’re here too! Ji Ying called out in surprised, while ran over to hug on her famous and only big brother. But soon, her eyes paused back, looking friendly at the most charming man she ever met so far.

-Ji Ying, I found you a prefect photographer. Hai Khung turned his face to the young man and continued on the introduction to his sister…Ji Ying, this is Van An.

Hue Lan gave out the support to her husband as she pushed on Ji Ying’s back, making her moved forward to Van An.

-And this is our dear, sister in-law that we been telling to you, Van An! Hue Lan spoke out with a cheeky smile to her husband

-Hi! How are you?

-Nice to meet you, Ms Leung!

-Please, call me Ji Ying!

As both of them shyly greeted each other for the first time. From then, the story began.

From the time working together set on set, day by day, Ji Ying had grown a very strong admiration for Van An. Being working with each other so often, they gradually became good friend of one another.

Only when Ji Ying wanted to take their relationship forward, she then realized of an unexpected news, that caused her to control back on her emotions, so she and him would stay to be good friend.

Van An had long been hidden his love for one of his childhood friend Yee Er. Every time he was with her, even for just a little while, it still would be the most wonderful moment to him. But the problem because Van An was too quiet, too slow in reviewing his feeling. So at the end Yee Er feel in love deeply for someone else. Shing Hing, who also loved her back, that left Van An once again stayed quiet about his feelings.

Thing only got complicated when Yee Er, secretly over read Van An’s diary, that’s when she realized of the unspoken love that her bestfriend been hidden from her.

To Yee Er, it was a big shock! Never before, she could think of that situation could happen. Her mind turned puzzle and confused. Her heart wondered. Even known she might not have the same feeling toward Van An, but she respected him as a brother, treasured him so much as a best friend that she does not want to do anything to hurt him. So finally Yee Er paused back her wedding with the long time finance Shing Hing.

Once, Shing Hing realized of the situation, and how fury Yee Er was when deciding for the perfect road for her life. Out of desperate needed for helps, Shing Hing came to Van An, then explain the whole situation and asked him to come and work things out with Yee Er.

At the restaurant, Van An had made a special appointment to see Yee Er after he made the promise with Shing Hing that he will and somehow turned thing straight out.

-Van An, I really feel sorry! Yee Er released her sympathy to the person that she caused hurt to. ..I wanted to make you happy, but…

-You don’t have to worry. Van An cut in pushing hard to his wills. The one what wanted to make the most loved person in his life to be happy…I will be very happy as long as you are.

-But…Yee Er fought back again, since knowing him for so long, she was sure that he was a very loyal person, who can’t let his feelings faded out that easy, unless…

-I found someone for me! Van An exclaimed as he brightly pushed on for a smile.

-Really!! Yee Er asked out in starlet.

-Yes. He replied, lying to himself. But soon later he lifted up his hand and started waving to the person who just walked in to the door.

Yee Er turned her big surprising look to well-dressed lady just entered, who was walking quickly to their table. Van An took her in his arm, and slowly showed her to the seat beside him.

-Yee Er, this is Ji Ying! Van An started to introduced as Ji Ying lead over to give Yee Er a friendly waved.

-Hi! Nice to meet you. I heard so much about. Ji Ying spoke out.

-Oh! Hi! Yee Er replied back and snapped out of her dreaming stage. She was happy, crying with over joy on seeing her dearest friend had find such a perfect partner for him.

-Ji Ying is the model instructor, that I been working with…Van An started to open the planned story before Yee Er put out the questions herself.

“Oh” Yee Er sighed in realization as her eyes till watched on Ji Ying in admiration.

-That’s why you looked so beautiful!

Ji Ying blushed shyly on the compliment, she turned to glanced pass at Van An, but disappointedly found his eyes were still attached to Yee Er.

-Yee Er, you’re also very nice, and very luck. At least you won a true heart. Ji Ying commented back, she was indicating the ‘true heart’ of Van An, but some how, Yee Er misunderstood and thought of Shing Hing, who simultaneously appeared at the same time.

-Shing Hing! Yee Er excitingly called out, when saw her finance was coming in….How did you find me here? She asked while clutching tightly on his arm, and pulled him down to the seat next to her. Opposition with Van An, whom purposely avoided eye contact with the intimated scene.

-Oh! Van An called me here before! Shing Hing explained, on seeing Yee Er was so joyful, he sensed that everything was Okay!

But with Shing Hing reason, both Yee Er and Ji Ying, turned to look at Van An in surprised.

-Ah..Yeah! I wanted Shing Hing to come as well. Van An broke back, as both girl turned to look at him in fondness.

One was thankful for him to be so kind hearted and created the opportunity for her to be with the person she really loved.

The other one was blaming him, why must he always be so good in front of her to make she fall for him even more, without knowing that will he ever love her back?

The evening moved on quickly with the two couples enjoying their entertainment time together. But slowly the night came to the end, as Shing Hing went home with Yee Er, and Van An took Ji Ying home.

One the car stopped at the front door to her house, he hesitantly, held on her hand, and spoke out,

-Ji Ying, thank you for so much! For tonight! His words were all from appreciation, as Ji Ying turned over, and gave him a sweet smile.

-Don’t worry, I’ll do whatever I can, as long as it helping you! And helping us!

“US” Van An paused back on the thought, he really still think of Yee Er very much. But a small sigh, he let out “I can’t be waiting for Yee Er forever!”

-Yes, I’m sure it already helped us! He put out the confident words, while forcing for a smile.

Ji Ying shined bright, as she exciting hopping for the future connection with the man she wanted to be with.

-Okay then, I’ll see you later!. Reluctantly she greeted good bye. Blow to him a little kiss, and then exited from the car.

She heard his engine started and soon later, he was gone. As turning around looking at the back of his mini four-wheel. Ji Ying smiled on shyly to herself. Looked up the stars full sky, she closed her eyes, and made a wish.

“Wishing for him, to truthfully love me one day!”

Chapter 9

Ji Ying was hurt, the pain of disappointment. She understood that Van An had realised that he and Yee Er will never be together, because she was getting ready to be wed to another the man, the one she loved. But what Ji Ying didn’t understand was why can’t Van An gave himself a chance to move on, gave their relationship a chance to develop. He would admit to other people that he was dating with Ji Ying, so Yee Er can be sure for her wedding. But to Ji Ying he never acted as her boyfriend.

So the times for Yee Er and Hing Shing wedding day, finally arrived. But day Ji Ying was busy all morning, trying to help Yee Er, who then had became a close friend, to prepare for the ceremony. Van An was busy with some other project in the morning, so he couldn’t come. But at the night party, he arrived together with Ji Ying.

So Ji Ying, the night went on quiet, as she didn’t want to get involved too much, like she did in the morning. Van An too, had nothing to do, as he just sat beside Ji Ying, soullessly, watching Yee Er from a distance.

-Van An! Ji Ying suddenly turned over and tapped on his shoulder, as Van An surprisingly looked over to her...Can we talk..outside...She continued.

Van An was confused, he didn’t know what she was up to, but hesitantly, he followed her to the outside garden, where there were less people and more air.

-I called you yesterday, why didn’t you return for me! Ji Ying tried on her funny pace as she clenched on his shoulder, looking forward for a smile from him.

And he did smiled back, forcedly with a short replied.

-Sorry I forgot!

Ji Ying soul slammed down into a big empty hole, but for the last chance, she tried again to spied things up!

-You never had time for me! She frowned, hoping he would come over and console her like all the other boyfriend does.

-Sorry! Was another concise answered from him as he still never pay anything attention, on whether she was playing or serious like then.

Ji Ying looked at him from behind, as she bite on her lower lips so control her emotion.

-I think you will be relieve after to night! She finally said it, also in a whispering voice, as she loosen the grab on his arms, and slowly removed it away.

Van An, was confused on her words, in turned around with a question look. That forced Ji Ying to tiredly continued on.

-I meant, because you don’t have to act as my boyfriend anymore?

Van An taken back in a shock, he knew she was his girlfriend, and he was her boyfriend, but what is it that she just said!

-What do you mean? He asked out in fury.

-I meant! Yee Er and Hing Shing finally together, our little act can end, because even know Yee Er going to find out that you are still love her, she won’t break up with her husband just for that! Swallowed in her tears backward, as she put on a very patient face, while expressing her ending with him.

Van An finally realised the meaning of the whole thing. And suddenly he noticed Ji Ying was right, he never acted as her boyfriend before, could it be because he’s still in love with Yee Er.

-I’m sorry Ji Ying! He forced out, and laid a soft pat on her shoulder. But sorely, Ji Ying moved her body to one side to remove her shoulder out of his hand.

-I think we’re done now! She concluded, swallowing back the salty tears into her heart and solemnly she continued. You had done your role as a sacrificing love that you had help Yee Er to find her happy place. As a friend, I helped you to achieve your wish. Now we had completed our jobs.

Van An just stood still in confused as he tried to find away to please her, but before he could open the word. Ji Ying had official closed the story.

-Van An, a relation can only survive when two people hearts are link to each other. A one way love, will one lead to a lonely self! It's better if you just be friend. Ji Ying gently tried to whole steady her body, as she let the sharp pain of losing cut right through her one sided heart.

Slowly, she gathered all for left over strength to push for a bitter smile, and then turned outside to the gate. Ji Ying waved her hand for a taxi, and left the party in quietness.

Van An keep watching one, feeling confused, frustrated, of what just had happened during that last 10 minutes. Everything happened so vastly, that he could not recall of the whole scene, even known it just happened not so long ago.

The next day Van An turned up to work feeling worn out from the long sleepless night. He doesn’t know how, but after he got home lastnight, he began to felt very lost and confusing! Suddenly then, a quick taped on the shoulder shattered Van An back to reality.

-Hey, young man! Why are young looking for exhausted?

Van An turned around in shock, to find a teasing smile from Hai Khung, who just opened up a conversation.

-Oh, nothing! Van An replied briefly and tried to turn back to his work looking for something to do!

-Hey, Van An! Don’t say I’m not good with you! But do you know what is today? Hai Khung, stepped out in front of Van An, disturbing from his hesitated action.

-What is today? Van An returned back the question, as he tried to look in his memory to see with anything familiar turn up, but there was nothing he could recall.

Hai Khung immediately crossed his eyes brows together looking unsatisfied with Van An.

-How can you be you careless? He scolded at Van An, placing a slight hit on the shoulder…But don’t worry, My wife and I already planned everything for you… Suddenly Hai Khung turned back to a more cooler pace, as he took out a box from his bag and handed it over to Van An. Here is the present, we booked a table for you and her in the Crown at 7.pm!

Van An received the box with a force, as he still turned a curious toward his good friend.

-What is this for? Van An as out of his unknown.

-Aiyah, stop pretending to be so dump, that is the present for Ji Ying, today is her birthday, don’t you know! Hai Khung repeated back the words, as he watched Van An turned from fury to starlet.

It was her birthday, that why lastnight, during the party she asked him to go out. But how can he be so careless and not notice that, no wonder Ji Ying got up set lastnight.

While Van An was trying to recover from the big news that he just received. Then Hue Lan suddenly appeared as she rushed in a hurry over to where Hai Khung and Van An were standing.

-Van An, why are you still here, Ji Ying had already gone to the Airport? Hue Lan rushed out between her quickly breaths.

“What?” Both Hai Khung and Van An asked out in surprised, as Hue Lan tried to continue.

-I don’t know, I came home this morning, and find Ji Ying was leaving for the airport with her things, I asked, she didn’t answer, I stopped her, he wouldn’t listen, so I came here to let you know. After that, she laid an inquiry look on Van An, that made he felt a sense of guilty…Van An, what have you done with Ji Ying, today is her birthday but Ji Ying seem very upset.

-I…I…I…Van An suddenly found himself short of words, as he can not think of an good excuse to cover his impersonation action, that lead so hurt to Ji Ying.

-Why are you standing here, go and get her back? Hai Khung demanded, as he turned over to his wife for more information…Do you know, which plane is Ji Ying going for?

-I heard she said she’s coming to Beijing to receive a new project.

Straight after that, Hai Khung and Hue Lan turned back their tension on Van An, as the husband and wife hurried for Van An to leave. And in no time, Van An couldn’t say or think anything, except for flying his soul and his body to the Airport hoping to catch up with her.

Van An quickly paid the fee when the Taxi just reached to the Airport’s gate. As the red car stopped at the entranceway, Van An immediate flung the door open, as he took off to search for Ji Ying. He went outside to inside, from the departure section to the arrival gate, yet still, Ji Ying was no where to be seen. Checking put the loading board, he notice the next fight to Beijing not yet to leave. Tiredly from the long search, Van An took his steps outside to gather some fresh air.

Ji Ying had been seating outside a small cafeteria within the Airport waiting time, as she checked her watch to see it was about time to leave. Ji Ying paid the bill, and slowly pulled along her suitcase, walking toward the departure custom for check up. She was tending not the look back, since she was not going to return to this place in a very long time. But suddenly, Ji Ying paused back, on the hearing someone was yelling out her name from a distance behind.

Determination told her not to look back, but furious over take, as Ji Ying had to turn and see is it he was coming for her? Indeed, she saw him, at the same time, feeling her hold body been melting down in drops and drops of waters.

-Ji Ying! Van An cried out louder, as he gathered his speed and ran fast to where she was standing still.

By the time he reached to her, his forehead was wet from sweating, his breaths was heavy and short from the running, his eyes placed down firmly on her face frustrating.

Ji Ying stood still, as she watched him carefully for the last time, only then she snapped back to reality as Van An, suddenly grabbed hard on her upper arms.

-Ji Ying! How do you have to leave, Why didn’t you let me know? He started of, which those questions, as Ji Ying slowly returned her body away from his grips.

-What for? She asked coldly, while turning her face away, not daring to look at him, she affair it will soften her decision.

-Because…Van An suddenly lost of answer, what should he say that to will not bring any more hurt to Ji Ying….Because…he mumbled again.

-Because, it’s not necessary! Ji Ying filled in the gasp with her own answer, while smiled out bitterly between her hot tears was swelling up in lifeless eyes.

But Van An quickly fought back, at one more time he grabbed on her shoulder, and forced her to turn back, facing him, but Ji Ying still tried to look away.

-It’s not that! He explained. But just why do you have to leave? He continued while thinking hard of a good reason for her to stay, but just in the rushing moment, he can’t think of any.

-So do I have to stay? Ji Ying twisted back that question that Van An couldn’t fine the answer for.

He stepped back a little on seeing two crystal tears rolled down harshly on her cheeks, her eyes expressed in sorrow and pain. The pain that he never thought the fun and active Ji Ying would never engaged to.

-I’m sorry! He suddenly heard himself apologized out aloud, while he really was looking for a good reason.

-You don’t have to say sorry. I have to thank you! She continued, trying to wipe out the tear’s strain on her cheek, but as her fingers touched her cheek, another tears just continually to fall down. I thanks you for not faking your feelings with me, otherwise I will be more painful then this.

Van An just couldn’t say anything. He knew her feelings for him were very much higher then anything, but he just can’t say that he also had feelings for her. It would be like, he was lying to her, rather than consulting her. So he decided to stay quiet, preventing from saying the wrong thing.

-I known one way love is very unfortunate, but I will be more disappointed even I stayed with you every moment, because I known your heart is not belong to me! Being in love is the most wonderful thing. I do not ask for a lot Van An. I do not ask for anything at all, except for one wish, that the man, whom I loved to love me back! She paused back, blinked pass another strain of disappointing tears. But as she collected her voice from the broken heart, and said the last good bye. But I know that will not going to happen for us! So please let me go, and rebuild myself.

She turned down to pick up the handle for her suitcase, and reluctantly turned away to move forward. But.

-Ji Ying! He cried out, while putting out an arm to grab back on her hand. But still he just couldn’t find the words to explain what he wanted to say.

Ji Ying took back a few moments, like if she was waiting for him to say something. Just a sentence, that he wanted her to stay, and she will stay despair what tomorrow will be between them. But he just stood there, looking at her, eyes crossing in confusion, he was willing to lie, but maybe no willing enough.

So she decided to give him a comforting smile, telling him not to worry.

-I will remember you! She whispered while placing a hand on his cheek. In the heat of the moment, in the yearning that she been holding back for so long, and properly its was the first and the last time, she get to do it.

Gently, she moved forward, and softly placed her lips on his cheek. She was kissing him, a friendly kiss that she was hoping for him to remember of her of the kiss when they’re apart.

Van An froze still like ice, as he felt her lip brushed against his cheek, immediate when a tear drop wetted his skin, there was that special electric shot that he never felt before. But the moment he about to put his arm put to cuddle her, he felt her body slowly began to moved away, as her hand was slipping away from his grab.

Ji Ying didn’t want to hang around anymore, as she was wanting to run away from him as far as possible, so she lift up the handle from her suitcase, and started running toward the door. While wiping her tears, she asked herself what was she doing, kissing him like that. But then she just hoped it would be a memorial of her for her. Finally, she said good-bye, not knowing when they will meet again.

Chapter 10

And that was the painful lesson for Van An. When Ji Ying was beside him day in, day out, helped him in the work’s place, and in the emotion situation. But he never laid his eyes on her, his mind always told himself, that he must be loyal to Yee Er, a foolish thought since it was just a one way love. May be it was that higher stage of loyalty that he wanted to be name after. So then he told himself not to love anybody else except for Yee Er. It was like that, until Ji Ying had gone. Only then Van An realised that she had been very much apart of his life already. Without her, everything just so tasteless and meaningless. Life was just so lonely and cold. And that was when Van An realised that Yee Er’s picture had no longer been kept in his heart. It had changed, since he never know when, but he was sure that it had changed into someone else, and that person had left him for good. During the separating times in three years, he tried to find her, but she just kept running away before he even got to her. He sent her many letters, but it kept returning back to him, unsealed. It was a very long three years, that Van An had to live through, sorrow, regret, hoping and waiting for his love one to return.

Talking about Ji Ying, after she left Hong Kong, carrying with her a wounded broken heart. She had promised to herself not to think about him, even to treat him likes a friend, it would just brings more pain to her. So Ji Ying made up her mind that she will try the best to disconnect all contact with Van An. She knew he was looking for her, but she just kept moving from place to places. She received so maybe thick letters from him, but she always sent them back, and did not bother to read any of them. She was sure that Van An will always belong to his loyalty image, that he will never love her truly like she loved him. So what worth for coming back.! But for three years burying herself in works and just works, Ji Ying still had fail so many times to erase his image. So in the end no matter how much she tried to ignore his picture, it was always there printed permanently in her heart, in her thoughts of every day.

Thought parallel was always the way for the two distance lovers, they were there, walking step by steps in their career, but never meet each other in the road of love, Until;

Van An was busily working in Taiwan, preparing for his Exhibition, when a sudden phone call reached.

-Van An, do you want to see Ji Ying? Hai Khung voice asked out in excitement that lift up Van An spirit in disbelieving.

-You don’t have to ask! But she always try to ignore me, this morning I just received back my letter again! Van An answered back, tiredly, thinking of all the failure that he had during the three years trying to get back with Ji Ying.

-Listen, brother! This is your chance of a lifetime. Ji Ying thought you are still in Taiwan, so she came back to Hong Kong to visit our mother. Hue Lan is picking her up at the airport now!

-Really? Van An asked out in amazement, feeling the world suddenly turned its face around and smile at him.

-Yes, you silly boy! Hai Khung underlined his answer…So what are you going to do now huh? He asked out, almost mockingly at the person that he felt so much sympathy for.

-Please, please don’t tell anyone, but I will catch the earliest plane to Hong Kong, but don’t tell her, otherwise…

Hai Khung finally cut in, tiring from repeatedly hearing the same reminder over and over again.

-I been going through this for three years, you should think I’m very trained by now. But you better be quick, my sister not silly you know, sooner or later she will know that her own brother is helping someone else.

-okay, I’ll be there tomorrow, or even tonight!

The moment he hung up the phone, Van An began to panic, in a few short hours, he had to paused back on his exhibition works, get ready and fly to the airport to catch up on the last plane of the day to Hong Kong. His mind was racing in different thoughts, working out his speech, planning on how he will approach her, wondering how she will react with him. Everything was just passing through so quickly, creating a big junk and finally lead to the big headache. But as he imagine the view of seeing her again in person for after so many years, it just lifted up his body, feeling like he just been reborn in to a romance world of loves…

Ji Ying never planned to come back in Hong Kong, she was well aware that it was the place where Van An received a lot of supports. But on hearing her mother was unwell. At the same time, she also caught the news that Van An was repairing an exhibition show in Taiwan, so she quickly took the chance and flew back to visit her mother.

-Mei Mei, you going to stay back until when? Hue Lan asked out, so happy on seeing her sister-in-law finally decided to return, but the answer was disappointing.

-Two days, or tomorrow! Ji Ying replied, when she watched Hue Lan jumped out in shock.

-Why tomorrow, you been gone for three years.!

-I’m holding a convention party in New York, and got to be back there very soon, I just like to visit mother, brother and you, then I have to race back! Her answer sounded so straight-forward but it contained a shadow meaning, which indicated to Hue Lan, that she will be leaving very soon, so Van An would not have a chance to catch up with her.

The older sister in-law just sighed, she was going to tell Ji Ying everything about Van An, but that may caught attraction, and whose know with Ji Ying stubbornness she would refuse to believe and turned backward for the airport in the same moment. So all Hue Lan could do now, was to pray “It’s up to you Van An! I can’t help!”

Ji Ying got back by afternoon, and all day, she spent with her mother, preparing for an early leave the soonest the better. No matter now much her brother, sister in-law and even her mother asked her to stay. Ji Ying has showed to be much more independent and obstinate as no one in the family can change her mind.

Dinner had pasted, Ji Ying carefully help her mother to her room, while her brother was still waiting anxiously for that one person to arrive. After their mother had settle for her early rest, so three young one gathered for some talks. Ji Ying was telling her stories about the past three years, how she was exploring the fashion world from one country to another. Doing modeling shows in various famous stages, and that now she had a very fulfilled life.

But no matter how active she tried to be, how many cheerful smiles she tried to put out. Hai Khung and Hue Lan were able to see through it, and saw the little sad and lonely Ji Ying, was crying out inside of her. How much they loved their sister, but how much they scolded at Van An for been for cold before, how much they blamed their sister for being so stubborn after. And how much they wished for the two could get together right then!

Ji Ying managed to hang on in front of her family for the whole day. As nighttime falls, she desperately needed to find an area for herself. Coming out to the back yard of her big family house, Ji Ying found a long seat next to the crystal clear swimming pool, as she began to relax her body and laid down on the seat, turning her eyes to the clear sparkling upper sky. It was the same as all the other nights, sitting by herself watching at the seldom sky, nothing more, nothing less. And when she was alone, his image began to appear, and as she thought of him, her silent tears began to sheer. The quiet was so painful, but amazingly Ji Ying had lived through it for the past three years.

Suddenly Ji Ying heard footsteps, noises that indicated that someone was walking toward her. Thinking it might be her older brother, she quickly sat up, and use her fingers to wipe of the tear’s strain on her two cheek. But before she could turn around to see who was coming in. She heard a voice, a familiar voice.

-Ji Ying! He called out her name, emotionally as his heart began to tremble the moment she turned her face around, looking at him in astonishment.

There she was, still beautifully portrayed, within the dark misty night, but her image shone out like an angel, an angel of his heart.

Ji Ying was surprised, then shocked and confused. She had not planned on seeing him again, and now standing in opposite with in between a few meters, she couldn’t think of how to react, what to say!

-Ji Ying! He called out again, this time, joyful expressed in his tone as Van An stepped his body forward so he could be standing closer to her. His eyes were filled in hopes, waiting for her to reply, and finally she did, coldly.

-How are you, Van An? She asked, as if there were nothing happened between them.

Luckily, Van An had prepared for the challenge, during his flight back. He had quickly browsed through every circumstance that could happen, from the worst to the good. And her uninterested action was already covered in the plan.

Despair the formality, he stepped again, trying to get a better gleam at her.

-I missed you! He whispered out softly, but loud enough to stunned Ji Ying.

She turned her eyes wider, looking at him in decline. “This could not be happening, he did not mean it!” She told herself, slowly she turned her face away as a sign of rejection.

But Van An was still there, with his full attention on her, on seeing she was leaping away, he leaned further, and grabbed her body back by the shoulder.

-Ji Ying, listen to me! He forced out, shook gently by her shoulder, pushing her to look at him, to see that was truthful. There is something I meaning to tell you, but I haven’t got any chance in the pasted three years! Please give me…

-What is it about? Ji Ying quickly cut in, as she forced her strength up to look at him, but just for a moment then she had to look down again, controlling the tears from swelling out from her pounding heart.

Van An took a deep breath, he slight his body to a side, looking at her hidden face.

-It about us! I want to tell you that..

Before he could finish delivered out all his thoughts, one more time, she cut in again, this time added in a little anger.

-What about us? There is nothing about us? Her voice was so determine, as she pushed away from his grab, so then Van An had to quickly continued.

-No, there is so much about us that I want to tell you!

-How can it be something about us? She rushed out, looking at him accusingly. When I was with you, hopping waiting, doing everything I can to have you loved me back. But coldness was all I get in returned. And now after three years when I was not there with you, and you’re coming to me and say that you had feelings for me? I don’t need anyone to sympathy for me…Ji Ying forced out her anger, pouring down on Van An unawareness. She was thinking that he was only acting it out to pity for her, opposite to what Van An was planning, Ji Ying took it as an insult. So with out giving him a chance to explain, she turned to the other side, and started walking forward, following the pool’s base line to go out the gate.

-But, wait! Fortunately, Van An was still hanging in there, as he quickly chased after her, managing to grabbed back on one of her hand, he quickly jumped his body a step forward, stopping in her way.

-Ji Ying, I known I was wrong, I was an idiot, not thinking straight and was only putting loyalty at first. But it was not until you gone, that I realised you were meant more then I noticed.

Ji Ying still struggle to move out, she was not convinced yet. So Van An had to race out his explanation, before she decided to turn over the other side.

-Ji Ying, do you how I lived during the past three years without you. His voice was carry so much emotion as she finally stopped moving, but still not looking up to him. Van An was not where near to giving up. He took a step further, by grabbing at her two hands and placed them on his chest.

-The past three years was like hell to me! Living in regret, and yearning for you to come back. I know it sounded silly, but it what true, coming from my heart. Only since you gone that I realised, I needed you so much. I need you to be by my side, I longing for your support, and my life was just so meaningless without you. That’s why the last three years were like hell to me. The only hope that helped me to survive and hang on, was longing for they day, when I see you again, and tell you what I truly felt.

Ji Ying’s tears had wetted on her cheeks, as one by one, each of them kept rolling down unintentionally. She finally lifts up her face and look at him. Surprisingly, she can see tears swelling out from his eyes, they were there to prove his words were true, his feeling was real. At that moment Ji Ying felt herself was drowning in an ocean of passion of the love that she been longing for.

At last, she pulled her body closer, while his hands were grabbing tightly on her hands, and he continued.

-You once told me, that you do not ask for anything when it comes to love, except for a person to love you back! Well, please hear me Ji Ying. I am saying this from my heart, a bleeding heart that been waiting for you in this three years to come back and heal it. Ji Ying! I love you! I love you so much that I can not bear to think of a life without you. I loved you, and willing to love you all the day, still the day I had my last breath. Can you please believe me, and give us another chance!

Van An’s image became blurry in her eyes, was the letting her hot tears ran out freely when her heart was jumping in joy and delight. Looking to passionately in her eyes, it was convincing enough that he was telling not anything else but the truth.

She wanted to call out his name, to say thank you, to tell him that she loved him as well, loved him so much that words are not describable enough. But her mind wanted to say the word, but her lips were almost like froze. She quickly she had to find another way to answer him.

Breaking out in to a big smile at she was disable to have during the past three-year, now suddenly come back. And nothing else she could say, so urgently, she leaped up and threw herself in his embrace, as her arms hugging on tightly round his neck. She felt his arms tighten around her waist, and he was laughing. She was laughing. Their brother and sister with were hiding behind the fence were laughing. And their mother standing from the top’s window was laughing. And a few servants in the house, standing at the kitchen’s widow were laughing.

Every one was relief, as the ending to “Another chance” lead to another future.

“That was a very sweat ending?”

Yu Peng: A very rushing one.

Zhao Wei: Because by the end, we both all have other contract to start with. So we begged the director to wrap it up. Working in 3 days and night straight, so we had it done before our new contract starts.

“And what do you move on to, after this”

Zhao Wei: I had an album to record! And Yu Peng started in a few movies.

“What was the response for ‘Another chance’?”

Yu Peng: I remembered it was above average, the middle of the serious was losing a little bit. But the beginning achieved very high, cause everyone all wanted to find out what happen. And the ending was also very attracted.

“What about you, did you start to have feelings yet!”

Zhao Wei: *laughing* To me definitely not!

Yu Peng: Me either. Our mothers were still very strong on us, so we didn’t have a chance to think about each other. Plus in “Another chance” we didn’t have much intimated scene!

“So when did your mother except for you relationship.?”

Zhao Wei: Ahhh, how can I put it! Let’s say, when they accident met their old lover, and realised that all those years they were in the same shoes as the other person, being the left out one.

Yu Peng: From then, they developed strong bonding and sympathy for each other! And very close until now!

“So were they the one who pulled you guys together?”

Yu Peng: Um…not really, we were there first!

Zhao Wei: We were already linked before they excepted us, there was a time when we almost had to go against out mothers.

“Well, so really, when did you guys had the affection for each other? Was it after “Another chance!”

Zhao Wei: *glancing over her husband with a smile* Yeah sort of.

“Did you worked again?”

Yu Peng: Okay, it was like this, we didn’t work again with each other for like more than 6 moths. I was busily doing movie so as she. But when we gathered again for out promotion when “Another Chance” was aired.

Zhao Wei: Our managers, Rebecca and Tim, took another chance to link us together, so they can spent time together.

Yu Peng: We ended up excepting in a new contract, but this time it was a big screen movie, cause both of us had moved out from TV series.

“So it was your first movie together!?”

Zhao Wei: Yes “Spiritual love”!

Yu Peng: It like another edition of “Chinese Ghost Stories”

“And that was where you develop your feelings?”

Zhao Wei: Yes, cause we had to shot some really awful scene together.

Yu Peng: I did an ancient movie before that, so I kind of learnt the special effect thing. Where it was her first time, she was struggling a lot.

Zhao Wei: *Suddenly lead over and slapped him on his upper arm* Don’t you bad talk your wife. I was just not use to hanging up in the middle of no where, with a piece of invisible string for hours.

“There must be a lot of memories, when shooting an ancient, and haunting movie!”

Zhao Wei: I don’t class the movie as scary, but yes we do have some good memory, likes…

Yu Peng: Like when we were doing our kissing scene. Even we started in three TV series, but it was a first time they done a kissing scene together.

Zhao Wei: And it was a strange on, we suppose to be kissing while landing down on the ground. So both of us had to be pull up in the air. We kissed and then they slowly let us down. But.

Yu Peng: Technical problem. And we ended up hanging in mid air for hours!

“Gosh, was it dangerous?

Zhao Wei: Not dangerous, but very uncomfortable!

Yu Peng: She was dead scared, I can still remember she kept on grabbing on me.

Zhao Wei: I was affair of high.

Yu Peng: Yes sweetie! You were very much. And by the time they got us down, my arms were covered with her finger nails marks.

Chapter 11

Lu Jiang (Luu Giang) is a small town, beside the famous scenery Jiang’s River with a regular population, but everyone is happy, everyone all please with their normal life. And tonight was the Full Moon Festival in the middle of August that gives a chance for everyone to gather around and enjoy the carnival feast.

Among the crowned place, the most attractive figures were the two young beautiful ladies, who just entered into the fun night. They were the Wang Lan’s sister. With the elder one dressed in a nice green custom, people called her Wang Xing Lan (Vuong Hanh Lan). And the younger sister which dressed in a bright yellow and pink custom was named Wang Lan Ying (Vuong Lan Anh). They were the most popular ladies in the small town, not because the Wang family was one of the most wealthiest family in Lu Jiang. But because they were the two prettiest flowers in the whole town, part of it was based on their undeniable beauties but most of all was based on their kind hearts. Living in a wealthy rich family, but the Wang Lan’s sister never show their powers in front of any body, in fact they used their fortune to help the in needed one. That’s why most of people of the town have a very high respect for the young sisters.

Xing Lan and Lan Ying were fascinatingly exploring everything that were happening in the market. Hand in hand, the sister stroke through the busy streets, greeting everyone along the way, as well as receiving lots of welcomes from everybody. Both Xing Lan and Lan Ying had a rounded red lantern in their hand, gaze by gaze, the two sister showed out their excitement by a beautiful brighten smile blossom from their cherish faces.

“Jie jie (ty ty), look over there! Why are those people gathering around the same place, let go and see!” Lan Ying zestfully cried out, while pulling on her reluctant sister to where the people were gathered.

As the two sisters reached to the group, people were politely spread their way so the ladies could enter into the circle. Lan Ying was more playful as she happily pushed her way to the front, but out of her unexpected, she quickly ran back out outside, away from the horrible noises.

Inside the circle where everybody was gathering in complains, was a young man, sitting by himself trying the best to play out some note from the monochord (one-stringed musical instrument) (Dan co) on his laps. But there was no sound of music coming out, but only a string of awful sounds. Everyone was standing around telling him to stop, including the Wang Lan sisters.

“Aiyah, I never heard such a horrible sounds!” Xing Lan cried out, while trying to cover her ears with her two small hands.

Ying Lan was standing beside, and she rejected the horrible no lesser then her sister. “Gosh I can’t believe, people could damage the atmosphere like that!”

“Er ke Wang xiao jie! (Nhi vi Vuong tieu thu)” A commander greeted the two ladies in respects and continued while pointing at the young man with the monochord “He is a traveler and just arrived in our town yesterday, but since the evening, he kept playing on that instrument non-stop!”

After hearing the exclaiming, Ying Lan walked in a bit closer as she took another carefully look at the player. “Jie Jie!” She called out, while quickly waved her hand for her sister to move in a bit closer. “Jie look, it seem like he doesn’t know how bad he is playing!”

Xing Lan moved in closer by the wave from her sister, after a quick observation, she nodded in agreement. “I think so, that’s why he been playing so long!”

Lan Ying put up a hand on her chin, looking in confusion she paid a more careful view to the strange man. Until the commander continued: “I think he’s playing for money, because he played so badly, no one would willing to give him anything!”

“Ohh!!” The Wang Lan’s sister turned back to look at each other in surprise. Without holding back, Lan Ying gently moved in a few more steps closer, this time she was stand right in front of the young man.

‘Xian Sheng! This is for you!” Lan Ying pushed herself for a friendly smile, why placing a silver bar in front of the young man. Immediately, he finally took some notice and stopped playing on this monochord. The surrounding people quickly gave a big sigh as the traumatic moment was over.

Lan Ying still tried to hold on to her smile, even know she wasn’t sure at what kind of people she was leading with. Pushing the silver bar move closer into his hand, Lam Ying bent down a little to have a look at his reaction.

The young man paused back, his fingers puzzled, wondering in surprise as he slowly turned his face upward to the light for the first time, and met with her sparkling diamond eyes. Then slowly, he turned the wondering look back on the silver bar, as if he wanted to as out “What for?”

Lan Ying felt funny one his strange reaction, she just enjoy watching it with a happy smile while pushing the silver bar more closer to him. The young man didn’t say anything, or he couldn’t say anything, but reluctantly due to her force, he had to put out his hand and received the silver bar.

Lan Ying let out a pleading nod, but as about to start her question method, she left her arm had been pulled backward, forcing her body to follow.

“Mei mei, he stopped playing, so let’s go!” Xing Lan, was not very sure about the stranger, as she fear for the safety of her sister. So quickly she tried to withdraw themselves from the scene as far as possible.

Lan Ying was still in full enchantment to the strange young men, who appeared to have a very stable charming look, except for his eyes were a bit lost. Seeing the young girl who just gave the money for him with no reason, being pulled away. He got nothing to say, rather then widen his eyes and watched on her shadow as it disappearing in a distance.

“So how is the plot for Spiritual?”

Zhao Wei: Pretty strange!…*grinned*

Yu Peng: It was similar to another edition of “Chinese Ghost Stories” Contained the good spirits the evil spirit and the hero, who protects the innocent and fight evils.

“How was it like to start in an ancient movie?”

Zhao Wei: I was horrible! *Yu Peng couldn’t control his giggles, as Zhao Wei gaze over a sharp look, that force him to stop* The make up, and hair took about 3- 4 hours, then put on the custom, and prepare on the set! Gosh it took ages.

Yu Peng: For a 90 mins movie length, but it took us 3 months for the completion.

“ Both of you all played a very different type of character right?”

Yu Peng: Yes, for the first half of the movie, a played a dump guy, a person with only a heart, and half of the capacity of an normal brain. So it was fun.

“Zhao Wei, your character was even more interesting!”

Zhao Wei: Why you always ask question when you already knew the answer.! Yeah, the first time I played as a young ghost!

“A lots of flying around?”

Zhao Wei: Oh, yes I still get goosebumps when thinking about it.

“During the making of this movie, did a big changes to the both of you right?”

Yu Peng: We were much closer in the set!

Zhao Wei: Our mother luckily didn’t came with us, cause the shooting place was in Beijing. So we were alone, less pressures.

Yu Peng: Plus we had quite a lot of intimated scene together! So there were a little…

“Chemistry going on?”

Both blushed and just nodded.

“And especially on the kissing scene!?”

By now, Zhao Wei quickly pulled up her husband hand to cover her face, as Yu Peng grinned on his wife silly action. It was not like they just married yesterday.

Chapter 13

“So how was Spiritual love? As in the story line!”

Zhao Wei: Oh, the story was interesting, a bit odds I thought, but hey Chinese Ghost Stories always seem to be odds.

Yu Peng: I played this angel sent from heaven to fight off evil demons. His name is Bu Ming because he doesn’t remember anything about his life, in another word he didn’t have the proper soul as a human. His power will only regain when he met The Ghost catcher, a messenger from the Heaven with the Heaven Sabre. That was when he became a strong angel with this great power to fight with the master of evil.

“So Zhao Wei where is your character fit in to this, and what about the love bits!?”

Zhao Wei: You’re always eager for the love bits, right!? Well as mentioned in the article, I played Wang Lan Ying, which is a elegant young lady. But she dies with her family in a fire accident, then her older sister and her spirit got caught by the Evil master, who made them to work for him, bringing innocent soul for him to practice on his power! Am I making any sense.?

Yu Peng: *Tapped on her shoulder and give his support* You’re doing well sweetie!!

Zhao Wei: Um, anyway, she met Bu Ming again, when she was just a soulless body, someone they attract each other, and when Bu Ming got his soul and his mind, he then reveal his love for her.

Yu Peng: But the tricky in the story is that. Bu Ming was not a human, he’s a angel in a human body to help him fight off the demon on earth. And he does not allow to be in love, or to fell in love. Yet he had this affection for Lan Ying that is undeniable.

“So what’s going to happen for their love.”

Yu Peng: Bu Ming had to complete his task in destroying the evil darkness, but during that he lost Lan Ying.

Zhao Wei: Lan Ying and her sister Xing Lan helped to defeated the evil, but because she is a ghost, and he is an angel, there are a big boundary that separated them. By the end Lan Ying spirit had to go back for retrieved in her next life.

Yu Peng: Bu Ming was supposed to return to the Heaven, but because he had discovered love, he begged the Heaven King to send him down earth permanently. That he is willing to let off his title from the heaven ground to reunited with Lan Ying in their next life.    

“So can they be together in the end?”

Zhao Wei: Well, at the end of the film, you’ll see two babies, whether they’ll be together, I don’t know.

Yu Peng: It’s a ghost story, and Ghost story don’t have happy ending, so you agreed or not.

“Yes, I know, but what about that kissing scene that I heard before, which brought you guy together!?”

Zhao Wei: Oh, that! *blushed, looking at Yu Peng* Honey, you tell!

Yu Peng: No why don’t you!

Zhao Wei: No you tell!

Yu Peng: Okay, I’ll tell.

*SPIRITUAL LOVE’S BACKSTAGE*

The Director after finishing preparing for the scene, he turned over to his young actors. Rebecca was with Wei Wei finishing the last touch on her make up. Playing as a Ghost, Wei Wei dressed in a beautiful soft custom, and with the fine lining make up, it highlighted her beauty even more, which was what the Director wanted it to be.

Yu Peng was standing with Tim not far from then, when he also having the last check up on his custom to see whether everything is in place or not.

-Okay, Zhao Wei and Yu Peng, come over here! The director instructed as both Zhao Wei and Yu Peng left her make up artist and walked over with their managers to the director. Okay, now, in the next scene, you guys don’t have to say anything, see that high border line up there. *Everybody turned and looked at the two fake tree, which stands, around 10 meters in high.* Okay, Yu Peng and Zhao Wei you will be pulled up there together…

-Oh my god! Zhao Wei gasped in shock, since she never was that friendly to height.

The director turned a disturbing glance at his young actress, and turned back to continue.

-I like you two to kiss which other, give me the most slow touching and passionate kiss that you ever had. And while you’re kiss happen, you will be landing from up there to the ground in a spinning spiral motion. Get it.

He looked back and found the White satin expression on both Yu Peng and Wei Wei’s faces. They were not scare because they had to go up high, but the thought of kissing together can just turn her head round and round. But both sighed in relief that their mothers were not there, otherwise, they would have to quit the movie.

Coming back to the back up a little more, without paying to much attention on the kissing scene later. They would have thought, it will be once and for all, until the director called back for the practice test.

-Yu Peng, and Zhao Wei, before we actually pull your up, we may do some practicing on the kiss.

-Practicing! Yu Peng cried out in shock.

-Why..Why..Why! do we need to do it…Zhao Wei gasped in broken words.

But not getting anywhere away, they director made them to kiss.

Hesitantly, despair how many past experience they had in partnered together in the series, how they got voted as the best couple. Yu Peng and Zhao Wei had never done an intimated scene together. Even during their acting career, it was not the first time that they have to play a kissing scene, but both of them still felt to hard to get the touch done.

-Okey ready, action! The director yelled out for the testing.

Zhao Wei was already, held tightly in Yu Peng’s arm, as they called he reluctanly, yet shakily bent down, searching for her lips. While Zhao Wei just couldn’t do it, and the moment he pushed closer, the moment she pulled away. 

-CUT! Yelled the director…I want intimated and passion.

Yu Peng and Zhao Wei both hesitantly looked up at their irritating director, but because of the contract they had signed in, they can’t put withdraw just because of a kissing scene, rumor could be spread in destroy their career. So for their future only, as Zhao Wei slowly accept and she stay still for Yu Peng to let his lips touched on her.

-More, more, more! Yelled the director as Yu Peng and Zhao Wei had to emerge closer in their kiss. While their director keep yelling out, he keeps yelling out until when Yu Peng and Zhao Wei can hold on to their kiss firmly without any pushing from him.

-Okay! Director called out.

Yu Peng and Zhao Wei both broke away from each other in the same moment, feeling like they both just got shot by the thunder strike, everything seem so blurry and unclear, except for the kiss that they just hard.

They both got pulled away from different direction for their Make up Artist to fix up the mess after the kiss. They took sometimes to relax, but the moment they started to calm down, they Director called out again for the real shot.

Rebecca and Tim watched on carefully, as Zhao Wei and Yu Peng got wired up for their landing scene. Zhao Wei was the most regretfully, if she had noticed more clearer that she will going to do this much flying around, she rather skipped the movie instead. But now, like the bird in the cage, she can’t run anywhere.

Standing face to face with each other, they listened carefully or the last instruction from the director, before they held tight to each other, waiting for the wire to lift them up to the top.

Being filming in a ghost movie, this was not the first time that Zhao Wei involved in a flying scene, but she was felt as nervous as shaky due to her fear of height never decrease. Holding on to her body in his arm, as they slowly been pulled up to the top, Yu Peng gradually aware of the shaky Zhao Wei beside him.

-Are you alright? He had to asked, as Zhao Wei, swallowed down a big plum in her throat, looking up at his face, she tried to acted confidant.

-Hah? I’m fine, it just the wire a bit swinging.! On hearing their nothing wrong, Yu Peng collected back his attention to the wire above, which operated from a professional winding machine in the studio.  

Safety was not a major concern issue, since it was not the first time ever, many action scenes for ancient movies had been shot in the same studio, and Yu Peng himself was once worked in here for his ancient series. Yet nothing serious had heard to happen except for that day.

The moment Yu Peng and Zhao Wei reached up to the top, they sighed as if the first part was over, now they only had to hang on tight to each other, give the camera a passionate kiss while landing on the ground, and they would be done. Since it a very simple scene, Zhao Wei and Yu Peng had told themselves that they will get over that shyness fear and to do a prefect job in the first take.

But just as everything was in place, the director about to shout ‘action’, suddenly the whole studio gone to blackness. Zhao Wei immediately took the fright was she lead over and accident hug on to Yu Peng neck even tighter. Yu Peng who was already been holding her waist line in his arms, preparing for the shot, when the dark sudden fell down, he felt her body leading forward, and her arms grabbed tightly on his neck. He turned starlet.

-It’s a black out! Some body in from below yelled out.

-Get some lights, turned on the electric machine, watch out for the camera and the equipments! The Director yelled out, from then the whole group of people in the studio started to moves around madness, trying get the problem fix, everyone was too busy down there, that they completely forgot about the main actor and actress who were still hanging on the top of the room.

-Have they forgot about us? Zhao Wei unstable voice softly called out, as she still hidden her face beside Yu Peng.

-I don’t know, hearing that they been very busy themselves! Yu Pen replied back, suddenly their body began to moves a little, but Zhao Wei just broke out her fear as she gripped on to him closer, with a little cry.

-Don’t worry! Yu Peng consoled, while embracing her tighter to give some secure. Don’t worry I’m here, nothing will happen. We’ll be down very soon.

Zhao Wei just keep on shivering as she felt like almost bush out to tears from the unbalancing stage that she was in, but then in the middle of darkness, of the scare, he heard his voice: “Don’t worry, I’m here, Don’t be scare, Zhao Wei!” It sounded so soft, so consolidated, and if his arms rounding her body they felt so warmth, so secured.

Eventually, Zhao Wei started to relax herself in the midair, as both of them hug on to each other, and stayed calmly from the above. While the below people still running around, some was using the touch, some burned the candle, they were just trying to get back the power, yet no one remembered of the couple hanging above.  

The moment Yu Peng and Zhao Wei snapped back to realisation was when the lights began to turn on again.

-Yeah, we got power back! Yell the people from below, when suddenly everyone paused to a cried, it was from Yu Peng.

-Wah! People down there, can you get us down now!

-Zhao Wei, Yu Peng are you alright! Rebecca and Tim both cried out in shock, as they just remembered of their little stars who been so quiet.

-Ye, we’re fine, are we still shooting, if not get us down! Yu Peng cried out, yet, his hands were never release from Zhao Wei body.

Before Tim and Rebecca would answer or could indicate to the operation department to get the couple down, the Director already pushed in.

-Zhao Wei, Yu Peng if you guys still okay, we can do the shot now! He raised his eyes above, asking to the young couple.

Yu Peng took a moment to check with Zhao Wei, after seeing she had nodded, he then answered back to the below.

-Okay, just continue on!

By that, the director began to rush on his crew as everybody got back to their position ready for the shot. While Rebecca and Tim were still in full concern, they keep yelling out to see if Yu Peng and Zhao Wei are doing fine.

-Okay, every body ready!

By the indication of the director, Zhao Wei gathered her strength, as she went back out to face Yu Peng, for the first moment their eyes attached. Thinking of how strong he had been in confronting her with her fear, Zhao Wei was so touched, that softly she whispered “Thank you!” And followed by a sweet smile, Yu Peng was first took it by surprise, but he soon understand and smiled back. For the first time, they had truth opened their heart for each other, and not because they were in front of the camera and that the script told them to.

-ACTION! Called out from the director.

The wire slowly began to release Yu Peng and Zhao Wei downward. He slowly bent down, and kissed her. She returned with the comforted touch. As their body began to take the spiral swing, turning around, while four cameras from all direction were following them closely, captured every pictures. Yet Yu Peng and Zhao Wei had all forgotten that they were acting. It was a first kiss, a pure true kiss.

“Wow, what a moment to remember, you’re director must be very happy with the shot!”

Zhao Wei: He was surprised! Because from our practice, he didn’t expect us to manage it within one take!

“So was that the moment, of connection!”

Yu Peng: Well, it was a start trigger, but we didn’t realize of our feelings until a bit later.!

“How much longer!”

Zhao Wei: Well, after we finish filming “Spiritual Love” we both took some break!

Yu Peng: Three months, I was releasing my first album!

Zhao Wei: I just stayed home and read the scripts!

“How you still didn’t feel any yet?”

Zhao Wei: Well, we started to miss each other!

Yu Peng: the next time we next was the promotion for “Spiritual Love” and we got on quite well then, you know..

Zhao Wei: Managed to have a decent conversation together.

“What about the media?”

Yu Peng: They very weird, they moment they starts to get along with each other, was the moment they started to spread rumor that we can’t stand each other. And it was basing on a fact that, during the opening date, I happened to stand next with Zen Shi, the actress who played Xing Lan.

Zhao Wei: And they started to say that, we broke up with each other, and they Yu Peng and Zen Shi were going out!

“And what did you do about the rumor?”

Zhao Wei: Well, I thought it was true, so not very happy at first!

Yu Peng: But I rang her and told her that nothing happen between Zen Shi and me.

“So have you officially open your feelings to each other yet!?”

Zhao Wei: Well, no! Because we also aware of your mothers, who still very much against with each other.

Yu Peng: Plus we weren’t sure of the other person, because we haven’t got time to see each other anymore since we did not work together.

“But I thought we still have one movie together!”

Zhao Wei: Yes, thanks for that. The movie was out of plan. The producer had already organized for their casts in advanced, but when the filming about to start, one of the female leading role had an accident, since the project can’t be pause back, because it’s concern other actors as well. So the asked Rebecca and me expected it, since the movie had five leading couples, so my role was not very much.

“And how about you Yu Peng?”

Yu Peng: I was already in the movie, but after Zhao Wei joined the cast, then the producer decided to switch my role over, so I ended up partner with her.

“Do they usually allow to do it!?”

Yu Peng: Normally, they don’t, because I got the script, which concerned other parts as well, so I knew really well, what the differences between the five main leading male roles.

Zhao Wei: And because he hasn’t signed the contract yet!

Yu Peng: And because I get to act with Zhao Wei again! *Looking over to his wife*

“So what is the title for the movie?”

Zhao Wei: STREET KIDS.

Chapter 14

“STREET KIDS”

It is a story about four young boys who surviving and maintaining their life on the dark streets. It is a story of bounding friendships that shine with in the misty night. It is about true meanings of love that blossom within the cloudy futures.

+HE, a young boy who left his luxury home and chosen the life on the street, rounding the main reason, he was trying to be tough. Too tough that turned too arrogant, which so many times caught himself and his friend into deep water. A lesson hard to learn, but by the time he realised it was wrong, it already costs his young senseless life.

+HE, a homeless boy who lived his life carelessly of what tomorrow will be. Beside him was an understanding love when she happened to come from the same unfortunate background. They once promised to be by each other through snow and fire. But despair how anxiously he devoted to her, because of another strong bonding in brotherhood, he was willing to satisfy his life for friendships, yet he still tried to leave her with a path into a brighter future.

+HE, a normal easy boy, who again had no family to base on, life was so tough that it was not easy to stand-alone. Until he joined in the group, from then his life got pulled on with a spinning rob of the dark nights. And yet he managed to capture a true heart from a young mistress. But the moment he was about to reveal his feelings, it was the moment he spent his last breath laying within her arms.

+HE was the least unattractive one, yet the most naïve and innocent. Life as a follower he had no control on his thought or his action. Everybody else seem to always done the job better than him. Yet, he was the only on to survived after the conflict. But the hard lesson costs so much, he finally learnt to be mature but will have to live in sorrow and grief for the lost of friendships.

Zhao Wei: We played Vivian and Alex!

Yu Peng: The cool guy! *spread a smile*

Zhao Wei: Oh, we both were very cool, even my mother couldn’t recognise me when she watched me, with all that my dark make-up in the clip.

“This time, how was it when working together?”

Yu Peng: *Looked over to his wife, for a moment and answered* Um, we both were very mixed!

“Mixed? Um care to elaborate?”

Zhao Wei: Well, when acting in this movie, we finally realised our feelings, but none of us were strong enough to admit it!

Yu Peng: Even known our roles were not that big in the movie, but the characters required a lot of emotion acting, and.. we…

Zhao Wei: You know, we kind of have that clicked! *Grinned*

“Some like me carving to see the clip, so let’s read it out!”

“STREET KIDS” Short clips.

The public clocked indicated the time was nearby midnight, where all normal people would be laying neatly in their comfy bed. But outside the quiet street, it was the arousing time of the black society.

The figure of a seductively looking young lady slowly took her unsteady steps into the little street. Her high heels were as sharp as a nail pin. It’s clicking sound on the ground by every step she moved on echoed solemnly within the quiet street. Her long straight leg, was all showing out attractively, below her mini shirt, which was cut short up to the very top end that it can be. A tighten, sleeveless T-shirt revealing her trendy figure, covered by a dark leather jacket, creating a touch of cowboy looking into frigid image. She was not much older than twenty but the heavy make up, black eyeliners, and chocolate lips stick just added on to her another five years older. A shoulder length hair, fluffing around in the chilling wind, brings out the ghostly beauty on her young face.

The lady just kept walking in the street, swinging her mini handbag around in an even motion, while acting uninterestedly of what ever that going on around her, until her way was blocked. A group of young fellow boy suddenly jumped down from the upper fence, they quickly surrounding her, planning for the new attack of the night.

-Hey, little miss! Where are you going in such a dark night? One of the boys from the gang cravenly spoke out, as they started to construct their circle even closer.

But the lady still showed no signs in fear, she was well familiar with the scene that happened to her countless times during her whole life tolerating on the dark streets. Rounding her arms to her front, her eyes watched on in full entertainment while her curvy mouth constantly moving around, chewing out aloud on her bubble gum.

Instead of cooling off the circumstances, yet her overbearing attitude created more attraction to the group, as another member from the gang stepped in closer.

-Honey! Let’s big brother here take you home okay! But the moment his hand about to touch on her body, there was a high single beam light suddenly shone bright into the small street, disturbing the fun of the gang. Long from a distance that motorbike engine could be heard as the gang including the young lady turned their view surprisingly at the starting end of the street.

-Stupid boys! The driver in black leather suit called out grumpily while increasing on the accelerator by the handle of the bike, and continued let out the tough warning between his teeth.. How dare you play with my girl? Without waiting for the gang to have any reaction, he closed down the helmet’s glass and speeded up his bike running directly into where the group was gathering.

-Gosh, guys let’s get out of here! Shouted a member from the group as the rest started to panic like an ant’s nest which just been discovered, they covered their head and ran out into which ever direction that could get them away from the speeding bike.

While the young lady stood still in one place as she watched on with amusement, seeing the group was running away like madness, slowly her views turned back to the bike and the cool mysterious driver on it. He did a U turn surrounding where she was standing and finally stopped beside her within a few inches.

She gazed a sharp accusing looks over his way, before let out her complains.

-I thought you never come! Her voice was clam, soft yet pin pointed directly to his lateness.    

And in return, he smiled and slowly took off the helmet reviewing a young charming face with a touch of cool ice.

-Come on baby, let’s go! Putting out his gloved hand, as he put on the generous invitation for the arrogant girlfriend to forgive.

But before she could let him go, the young lady violent walked over beside her boyfriend, promptly she rushed her pointed fingers against his spiky hair, before bending down pressing hard her lips against his. He had no rejection, in fact grabbing back on her slim figure tightly, he again returned the kiss, biting in with passion on her lower lip then the upper one.

After that emerging long moments within each other, the young lady slowly pulled out, as she whispered back, laying her forehead against his.

-Alex! That’s the punishment for being late! She warned while smiling with affection.

-Oh, Vivian, if in that case, I rather to be punish for the rest of my life! And continued with that he abruptly pulled in her jacket, pushing her face closer again his. But Vivian started to giggles with ticklish as she pushed her way distant from his grabbed.

-Come on, the others are waiting!

Alex had to smiled out with unwilling, as he quickly handed to her the second helmet. Holding on to the big hat, Vivian eye’s brighten as she briefly did a quick check at the strange vehicle that he was on.

-Alex, where is the new bike from? She as out in curious, while putting on the helmet over her hair.

Rounding his eyes mischievously, with a dash of showing off, he revealed.

-Oh, Just borrowed it from the petrol station! He let out, then bending down and whispered on. Without permission, but with all the equipment attached!

Vivian beautiful rounded eyes widen in shock, not from fear of the stolen vehicle, but from interesting, since it was something that Alex usually does so often. Eventually, both joined in an enjoyment laugh with each other, and moving on after that, Vivian, quick got on to the bike. Rounding firmly round his waist, as Alex exceeded on the speed, zooming out from the small street then ran straight to the gathering place.

Chapter 15

In a dark hollow corner of the quiet misty night outside the empty street, gathering in front of an old craft shop parked two brand new looking motorbikes. Fatty Chan, a chubby young looking boy sitting on one of the bike, pretending as if he was driving the vehicle, making out some silly engine sounds to add in the fun. Beside him not far, sitting on the long window bench was another young couple Kelly and Max, who was busily picking on each other. And standing silently by a lamppost nearby was the last member of the gang Cole, who always in his normal activities, which were calm and lacking of interest on everything that he does or was told to do.

A high beam light finally showed out from the other far end of the street, capturing the attention of every members in the gang. Kelly was the first one, stood up pulling on her strong and tough boyfriend.

-Hey! They finally decided to come! She yelled pointing out the indication finger to the approaching vehicle and the people on it.

Cole hesitantly looked up, and abruptly turned away because of the high reflecting bright light, only Fatty Chan was the most excited, he quickly chased over to the bike, standing in the middle of the street, waving his hand telling the moving bike to stop.

Noticing the silly Fatty Chan was in his way, Alex had to put on the brake insistently, before he would slam right in the chubby body.

-Hey Fatty boy! Aren’t you favoring with life anymore? Vivian urgently yelled out, just as the bike stopped on time, and after taking off her thick helmet.

By now the other three members had moved in closer, while Fatty Chan quickly ran over to have a good feel at the new bike.

-Oh my God Alex, this thing rock man! He purely put out the comment, unnoticing that his body was coming near to the danger zone, as Vivian reached her helmet from the back seat and bang promptly on his head. “Ouch!” Cried the naïve fat boy, as he quickly withdrew himself away from her reach.

Alex delightedly turned his view to the back so he could have a little laugh as the childish of his girlfriend and who she always loved to bully, the fat boy.

-Nice bike, Alex! Cole finally spoke out, while getting on one of the bikes and pulled in next to where Alex was parking.

-Where did the cool thing come from? Max also put in the question, after he had got on to his bike, and was waiting for Kelly to get ready!

-Thanks! Alex replied with a smirking smile. Just picked it up from the Petrol station, not like you guys, got those out from the garage. Continued on he finished with a dashing laugh.

By now, Max and Kelly had lifted their bike to the middle between Alex and Cole, while Fatty Chan also quickly got in the passenger seat behind Cole’s bike. Since it was the only bike which had a spare seat.

-Okey guys, let’s race! Like as always Max was the one to open their weekly bike race.

Vivian quickly put on her helmet and coming back to grab tightly by Alex’s waist, preparing well before the bike gets plash off again.

And from then, by the count of three, the three bikes simultaneously took off together, with Max and Kelly driving non-helmets in the middle, with Cole and Fatty Chan followed closer on their left. And in the steady right were Alex and Vivian. Eventually after a few streets, Max with his forever eager to win took the first place, as he racing on with excitement, even lifted up his bike in one wheels not to forget about the wild and crazy Kelly supporting, yelling out from the back. Beside them not too far was the silent Cole except for Fatty Chan sitting behind who was not that quiet.

Only Alex and Vivian were left in the third place, as he was gearing up to make the forward chase, Alex quickly turned to the back for the warning.

-Hold tight, Vivian, I’m catching on!

-No, Alex! Vivian suddenly called out…Let’s them go, I only want to enjoy the moment with you! She reviewed softly laid her big helmeted head one side on his back.

-Really? Alex asked back sheepishly since he already knows that she was saying the truth. And once feeling her clear nod on his back, Alex instantly paused on the speed, and sharply took a left turn, cutting his way from the other guys.

-Uh, Alex turned off again! Fatty Chan called out, after having a slight turns to the back and found that Alex and his bike was no where to be seen.

Kelly on hearing of the quote, she also took a quick turn, and later turned back to whisper by Max’s ear.

-That Vivian pulled out her boyfriend again! You’re the toughest hunk! And by the compliment, Max just grinned on and increased his speed even faster.

Taking off together like they always do, on every Saturday Night, at the race, after earlier in the day, the three boys went out and stolen each a bike. Now driving straight to the seaside, they were preparing for some times together.

And there they parked to watch the sunrise together, Alex was sitting in an opposite direction on the bike, facing to the back, with the little Vivian, softly laid along the back seat of the bike, while her body nestled neatly inside his embrace.

-Alex! She suddenly whispered out, turning her face to his view…Can we be like this forever!

Quietly he tightened more on his embrace, before bending down and placed a soft kiss on her thick hair.

-Yes, baby, was long as we can be together.

-But we will be together right? She lifted up her body, so that she could hug on his long neck. Promise me Alex…She eagerly said out, looking solidly into his deep eyes… Promised me that you’ll never leave me, never, ever! Vivian was just feeling very uncertain from this few days, so as the moment staying together with him, she wanted to make him assure for her concerning.

-Yes, I promise baby! Scooping up her heart shaped face inside his firm hands, Alex confidently made out his vow to her eyes, which will carry the message to her heart.

Satisfaction that she felt, filling up with relief. Vivian let out the most brightest smile ever while at the same time, leaning forward closer to his face, and from then it was not long until they were totally seduced by each other, hugging tighter, pressing and biting harder on each other lips. They were just discovering the moment together, the moment, which filled with intimacy, passionate, and indescribable loves. Behind them was the first ray of sunlight, which could brings hopes to the young couple or it would be mark as their last time together.

“So how long did “Street kids” took to film?”

Zhao Wei: *Looking over to her husband for checking* We think the major work in total was four months, which was very long for a movie.

Yu Peng: But our parts were only consumed for two months.

“I heard that you were very nice to each other on the set!”

Zhao Peng: *laughed* Yes, we didn’t realised it then, until now when we thought about it, we kind of agreed. Yep that was the first time that we are actually co-working from physical of the script to our souls as well.

Yu Peng: In fact, this could be a bit embarrassing to tell, but I got too much involved that I couldn’t concentrate on the character.

“Really?”

Zhao Peng: *Laughing out loud* Yes, let me tell this *Looking over her husband* um, we were doing another together scene for Vivian and Alex, as you realised they had a lots of scenes together. Anyway, we were about to kiss. Alex was supposed to say this line, and then we will kiss. But he was just laying there, on top of me and looking at me, froze till…

Yu Peng: I was attracted…Okay!

Zhao Wei: Well, I didn’t know what he was feeling then, all I realised was, he supposed to say, da da da…but he was not moving, so I…I used my hand which was covered by my the blanket, and I pulled on his shirt. But no reply so I used my finger nails and pinched him.

“So did it work this time!”

Yu Peng: Oh definitely! I jumped out, and that was when the director called cut.

Zhao Wei: And we had to do that part again.

“I read some old paper, saying that because Yu Peng is dating with another actress, that was why he try to make up for you by being nice!”

Yu Peng: *Both broke out in laughter* Oh, I remembered that story, it was just too fascinating, and I got people on the crew asking me about it.

Zhao Wei: Because they heard such rumor that we are dating, then broke up, and then Yu Peng gone out with someone else. So at first people was acting pity for me, but when seeing us was nicer to each other then what the media wrote a lot of people questioned.

Yu Peng: Uh, That was funny, we still laugh about it when every time it was mentioned.

“I bet you’ll remember it well! Now Zhao Wei, you actually did one of the theme song “Waited in vain” for the movie, and You Peng you actually directed her MTV clips later.!”

Zhao Wei: I wasn’t plan to sing in the movie, but at that time, I was writing and choosing songs for my second album. And one day, when I was on the break, I was just humbling out a few words that I just thought of for a new song, and the director happened to walk pass and caught me. He was like: “Oh Zhao Wei, where did that come from!?” I said: “From my head!” But he ended up liking the slow tune and the lyrics so he asked me if I could record that song first for the movie, and I did, because it quite suit with my character Vivian at the end.

“So Yu Peng, how come you coming around with filming the clips for her?”

Yu Peng: At first I only did the vocals in the song, basically background talking, using voice of Alex to make the song come alive with the two characters. Also, I was telling Zhao Wei how I’m preparing for a sample clip to enroll in the directing school. So when she decided to re-film for the MTV clips, we were talking very well at that time, and happened to just finish the movie, so everything was still fresh. So I took on the job, directing in her MTV clip, and I was in there as well.

“But the public didn’t know about this when the clip was been make?”

Zhao Wei: Um no, the four of us, me, Yu Peng, Rebecca and Tim wanted to keep it as secret, incase of further rumor going to spread. So people only know that my next single is a song from the movie, which Yu Peng will be special guest appearance in the clip to bring in the characters.

“And how did people reacted when they found out”

Yu Peng: They went wild, in fact at first they thought the name was printed wrong, until they get a confirmation from Zhao Wei and me that I was the one who filmed it.

Zhao Wei: Plus Yu Peng also used the clip as the sample for his enrolment and got in, which I thought they were not very hard on him.

 “And at the same time while filming the movie, you also received the second award from the People Choice again as a best couple for the second consecutive year, right?”

Yu Peng: We were both filming in Hong Kong, and didn’t attend at the ceremony in Taiwan, but we were very lucky to receive the same award in two consecutive years.

Zhao Wei: When we were told about our wins, one day before the ceremony nights, because they want to take a excepting clip, filming live in the award night. So I was very shock to see the crew coming over.

Yu Peng: But we did film a thanking clip together, I think which satisfied a lot of our fans!

“I think it definitely did too! So from then, I guessed it would have give you a little idea that you are in fact a perfect match, How about your mothers?”

Zhao Wei: Well, by then ofcouse they don’t really like us being so well liked together, but because it fame, so they had to except it. I remember when talking to mum on the phone, she was complaining that I been acting with other actors too, and why I never voted with them. I answered: “I don’t know, mum why don’t you ask the public!"
