Chapter 1

Background.

19 years before the story take place….
During the Han Dynasty, Han Zhu were name as the capital city. King Han Yu Xuang, was well know for his kindness, and well control. As a King, he couldn’t go agaisnt with the costome of making concubines, but his true love was always set for Empress Yan. That happy year, the Empress fall pregnant, and later she gave birth to a charming prince, that King Han Xuang, named Han Yu Peng. And it was clearly view that Yu Peng, will get the throne and become the future king later.

At Prince Yu Peng’s 100 days old celebration, a famous fortuneteller, Lao Ge was summoned in to the palace. Lao Ge, is a blind man, who travels around a lot. He was well known and famous for the correctness of his prediction. Lao Ge arrived at Han Zhu, on the celebration day of the prince. And was call to come in the palace, to predict for the young prince.

After take a look at the young prince, and check over his day of birth, Lao Ge begged the King, so him would say the truth. Lao Ge marked that the prince is not suit to be in the palace, and no matter what happen, when he grown up he will try to run away. Plus Lao Ge also warned the King, that there is rebellition been planning among the palace, he wish the King to be careful and anyone would become a traiter, even the closest one.

As expected, the King was not at all please with Lao Ge prediction, he got angry and order to send Lao Ge out of the palace, and never to return to Han Zhu.

But the turning day took place, when Prince Yu Peng, was just over 1 year old. King Yu Xuang, then relised that this younger brother, constable Han Yu Dang, have turn out to be a traiter, who been organizing a secret plan to take the throne, and execute the King and his family. Yu Dang, secretly kiddnap the Empress and the young princes, to use as a weapon to make the King give up the throne. But the King live to his people, he rather risk his family then give this kingdom to a traiter. Yu Dang this disappointment sent the Empress and Yu Peng to be killed. Lucky a loyal constable Lam Tien, has secretly rescued the Empress and the prince. On behalf of the King and the Empress, Lam Tiet, gave the young prince to an old couple servant whom been loyal to him all their life. He order then to take the prince away and to head North direction, hide somewhere save never let anyone know, or never let the prince return to Han Zhu, until Yu Dang have been destroy. Or when Lam Tien himself fined them.

Yu Dang was turning mad, since his plan has all messed up. He went to kill the King himself and announced the outside traitor group murdered the King, and the group also took away the young prince. The empress was so despressed by the news, she commited sudiced. So at that time the palace was all confused. They have to find a replacement for the King since the only prince has gone, and the death of the Empress. It left with Yu Dang, provely stand to be a loyal, he promise to take over the Kingdom temporaly until the prince is found and he will return the throne. But on the other hands, he keep sent outside group to find the prince and destroy the last hope.

Contable Lam Tien, was so disgust with Yu Dang’s action. But he couldn’t do anything but to stay back and obey Yu Dang. Through many years he also tries to look for the prince and hopefully Yu Peng could return to take back the throne.

Chao Wei Wei al so known as Xiao Wei, Wei Cu Cu (Vicki)
Her mother died when she was young, it left Xiao Wei, with her drunken father, who later sold her to Gou Do Shi Fu, when she turned 12. Master the high skill in marital arts. Also in a special sleeping powders. She followed her Shi fu, works as a thief in Han Zhu, who stolen goods from the bad and rich people, then give out to the poorer one. She is wise and carefree, but very bright, confident, not to add also beautiful. She had only one friend is Lam Xin Ru.

Lam Xin Ru, also know as Ru Cu Niang (Ruby)
She is daughter of Lam Tien. Even she was born in a hard and strict royal family. Instead of being a soft xiao jie (young miss). Xin Ru, learned Kung Fu and hate to obey the royal costume. Meeting Wei Wei was a big impact for her life, she even have the thought to leave her family and to be free as Wei Wei.

Han Yu Jin, also know as Jin Cung Zi (Jimmy)
The favoured son of Yu Dang, and everyone look up to him as the future King. Unlike Yu Dang, Yu Jin always turns out to be a kind heart person. He loved his Kingdom, and promise to himself to be a good King later. But when he was crowned to take over the throne later, he also learn that his father is a traitor, and the Kingdom belong to his Uncle Yu Xuang. So Yu Jin fined an excused to take a tour outside the palace. But instead Yu Jin mission is to find Han Yu Peng, the last prince, so he could help the prince to take back the throne, and order a ease out his father mistake.

Chapter 2

At the busy market of Han Zhu city, a young man is fascinating of the crowned atmosphere, he knew that the City is a very busy place, but out of his thought, he never know it could be this exciting. By now, he had not regret for running away from home, and to leave his nagging nanny back in Tai Hoa.

-Gosh, this is just so groovy, look at all the things they sell, my god almost everything…hahahaha..I’m sure now that Xiao Peng I had came to Han Zhu, I will spend a great time in here… As Xiao Peng thought to him sell, while skipping through each store from the market.

By noon, Xiao Peng, decided to go and have some rest since he was very tired after wondering through the market, the whole morning. Rather coming to rent a room at a motel. He want to save as much money as possible, so he find his way back to the forest that we just crossed before, thinking it might be peaceful enough in there.

-Hupm..all that wondering around surely a tiring job. Well I can head back to the forest just to take a nap. Now I worry Han Zhu is to big, how on earth am I suppose to find a master…

When reached the forest, he looked around. When he found a big nice branch, he give a quick smile, and in no time a fled up and land on the tree, and then settle himself to lay down, and closed his eyes.

Xiao Peng, admired material art, since forever. But with his nanny strictness, he couldn’t afford to find a proper teacher. His basic Kung fu skill is from a neighbor boy, who secretly taught him for a feel years at his young age. From then he try to practice himself. But nothing new, except his running is getting a lot better.

During that time, at the other end of the forest. A group of men which were carrying one of a rich wealthy man, stopped, by a cry for “help”. A beautiful girl, dressed simply, but her beauty is no where to deny. But she was running breathlessly, cried out loud, until she bump in the carriage.

-HELP! HELP! Help…please could someone help me, I been chase by a bunch of robber…please help!! She cried, louder every-time, unaware, there was a open arms, that jump out to catch her. She got shock, but then to relief it was the big man from the carriage.

-Xiao Jie (young miss), Xiao jie, don’t worry I am here to protect you! The man said with a big smile on him, when he get a closer look at how pretty the young girl is, by then he even hold her closer.

The girl struggle uncomfortable, since she been held too tied. But still managed to get her soft and attractive tone.

-Lao Ye, please help me, I’m so tied from running, and the robbers are still chasing me, they will not let me go if they see me. Oh please help me, do you have any place for me to hide. The girl spoke out so sweetly, that no man could resist.

The old man, as deeper attracted to her big eyes, that he stared more in too it, unaware, that the girl have slowly pinched his money bag from him, and hidden it in her bell.

-Oh yes, xiao jie, please come in the carrigged and I will ask they guard to get moving, may be the robber don’t realized.

The girl said thanks as the man who was quickly yet closely lead her to the carriage. When settle he told to guard to get moving, while he walked outside with them. Inside the carriage, she quickly gave a big search, in the corners under the seat. Her face turned bright when she found a jewellery box, in one corner.

-Ump, why man are so idiot, well shi fu and Minh ge ge (big brother) are exceptional ofcouse, but the rest…hihihi..Wow, today I earned big…Okay, nothing else I better make a move before they reach the market, that will be harder. On thinking of this, the young girl sneak a peek outside, to see whether everything is under control. Then she made another loud cry.

“Stop to carriage, Please stop!.

As she notice the carriage been put down, and outside there voices were asking what was wrong. No time to waste, she flu out of the carriage with the jewellery box in her arm, and stop outside a far distance, and turning her face back to the carriage, She gave a big mischief smile.

-Lao Ye, thank you helping me. I am now bringing your good will to help other people! Thank you bye-bye. End of her speech, she turned and about to run, but stopped when she heard the horrified cry from the man.

-Xiao Nu, how can you do that to me, I …I..will report you…you..come..back.. The man cried out in broken, shaking words.

The girl was so amused watching at him, so gave a big laugh, before answer him for the last time.

-Hahahaha…How can I do this, Because, I’m xiao co co of The Han Zhu’s thief gang. And want to report me, fine, oh say hello from Xiao Wei Wei to them for me, will you…thanks again.. After that, Xiao Wei, jumped up high and spin fast to escaped.

The old man and the guards were all shaking by now. Of couse they all heard about the Han Zhu thief gang, that stolen goods and give back to the poor. And Xiao Wei Wei, was the only girl in the group, and surely she is a cheeky one, popular most for her sleeping powders, she could make her victims sleep for days without realize anything. Luckily for them, may be today, Wei Wei only in a small mission, that why she didn’t use the powder on them. The old man gave a big cried and squashed down on the ground.

All, this drama, have been witness by another person, who got woken up by the noises below. Xiao Peng watched the whole things, and when Xiao Wei flu away. He disappears as well.

Xiao Wei, made a quick run, but she then slow down, when she sensed someone was following her, she spun herself around in a quick action, and jump up to give the follower a great kicked. Lucky at the last minute Xiao Peng, managed to lower his body to escaped from the kick, but his body was all shaky, he never seen anyone make a move that quick before.

-Hey, Xiao Zi, why are you following me! Asked Xiao Wei, After landing back to the ground.

Xiao Peng, who still in a shaky condition, but still managed to collect himself, stood up as he would affair of nothing.

-I’m asking for justice. Why did you rob that poor man! Said Xiao Peng, bravely.

-Hahahaha. You’re asking for justice in Han Zhu, Gosh you must be new here! Xiao Wei gave a great laugh, and gave a searching look to Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng was a bit embarrassed, well, she is kind of right, cause he only been in Han Zhu for a day. But still he did not give up.

-What ever! You stolen the goods from that old man, I will take it back for him! As Xiao Peng stood up, got in a ready position.

Xiao Wei, gave a quick stare at him from top to bottom, and laugh out.

-Hah, Xiao Zi you’re trying to be a hero. Now I definitely sure that you’re new here! Haven’t you heard of the little thief from Han Zhu, That me Xiao Wei. No one can take anything from my hands. Want to try? Come on in.!

And in no time, a fight began. Xiao Peng, was struggle even he tried all his best effort from the broken martial skill that he had learned. Xiao Wei on the other hand was very relax. She can tell that the guy is new, and yet his skill is bad, so she not going to be too harsh on him. But on the other hand, she can’t let him hold her back like this, the other guys may catch up. So as a quick thought, Xiao Wei, spin for self out of the reach area of Xiao Peng.

-Xiao Zi, I can tell that you pretty new, and have know nothing much. I give you one advice, in the city like Han Zhu, you can never tell who good or bad, just by what they do or how they look like. Okay, my time is tied, I can’t stay here to play around with you, so good night, sleep tied.

Xiao Wei spoke out so quickly that Xiao Peng, didn’t have a chance to reply. By the time she finished he could only she her blowing some stuff of powder from her right hands. And then he felt into a deep sleep.

Chapter 3

-Hooooh…ah…gosh who is it, stop poking I want to sleep. Xiao Peng, gave a big yawn, while trying to sit up and open this eyes to see what were going on.

-Young man, I’m just being kind, I don’t want you to sleep the whole night out in the middle of the forest. It’s passed sun set already, you should go and find a proper place to sleep. Said an old man, with white hair and bear, but he looks knowledgeable.

Xiao Peng, finally fully awake, he looked at the strange man and then thought back to himself of what had happened in the afternoon. Suddenly he jumped up.

-Ah, I remember, I had a fight with that cheeky thief, and she blew some stuff on me. It must be some kind of an sleepy powder…Gosh people in Han Zhu are so dangerous. As Xiao Peng, realized of the whole situation that he just went through on his first day in Han Zhu.

-Hahahah..young man, every where there are good and bad side. And who ever you meet, is alldue to destiny and fate! You can’t complain… Laughed the old man.

-Huh? What are you talking about…Xiao Peng was totally confused, he put his arm to starched the back of this head, and then gave the old man, a more careful look, from top to bottom.

From then, Xiao Peng, saw how the man look like, he’s old, but doesn’t look poor or wealthy. One hand he held a lattern, and on the other hand, he held on to a stick which as a sign attached to it. The sign is make of fabric, with a picture of an inside of a hand. Xiao Peng, brighten this eyes at the sign. He gave a mischief smile to the old man.

-Ah, you’re a fortune teller. That why your speech was so confusing. But I don’t need to know anything about my future. I don’t believe. What is destiny, what is fate. That just rubbish stuffs that you people made up to make a living. But anyway, I thank you for waking me up. I got to go bye-bye. Xiao Peng, put his hand together, and gave the fortune teller a thank you bow, and turn to leave.

But he soon stops when he heard the old man called out.

-I don’t care if you believed me or not. But let Lao Ge here gave you an advised. Always, believed in your heart. And only yourself can tell what is right or what is wrong for you. Remember that young man…

Xiao Peng, just give a fake smiles, turned away and started walking.
“That Lao Ge must have been every quite for a long time. Even I don’t ask, he still answer, but anyway, I got to find that cheeky thief to take revenge. How dare she did that.” Xiao Peng, thought to himself. But then he heard the old man yelled out again. But this time. Xiao Peng, stopped, and looked strangely to find the man, but he couldn’t see Lao Ge anywhere. He tried to remember back Lao Ge last words.

-Go, young man, go to find your destiny.

“What does he mean??” Asked Xiao Peng to himself.

At a quite corner in Han Zhu city, there was an old temple, which been left out for a long time without anyone visiting. The temple sat alone beside a riverbed, even in the day no one would bother to come in. But in the night time, it was a home to one of the most beautiful thief in Han Zhu. Xiao Wei Wei.

-Umh. I wonder did I act a little bit over with that boy in the forest today! As Xiao Wei recalled of the incident in the afternoon, while counting all the gold and jewellery she made today.

-But that stupid Xiao Zi deserved it. If I not use my powder, I would have to beat him still dead until he let me go. So I rather let him have a nice sleep. Resting is what he need…hihihihi..As Xiao Wei, giggles with herself.

Suddenly she heard sounds of birds flapping its wings, felt outside of her so call house. Xiao Wei, made a quick run to pick up the birds, on it feet, there tied a little note. Xiao Wei, quickly roll out the note, and read it.

-Shi fu holding a meeting to night. I better get going now. By that Xiao Wei, let go of the bird and fly out of her house, disappeared in the darkness.

The next day, around lunchtime, at a local restaurant.
Xiao Peng, after a long sleep has recovered from the fight yesterday. Since all day he used to wonder around the shop, to explore new things and looking for his first enemy in Han Zhu, now he finally feel hungry. Xiao Peng, went in to the restaurant, and take the stair to the upper levels. He picked a table at the end, beside the balcony to get a view of the busy Market Street.

-Waiter, I want one load of bread, a blow of noodle, and a teapot. Get the good name one okay! As Xiao Peng quickly made the order. After the waiter have left. Xiao Peng decided to take a view around the big room with most of them are busy chatting away. Except for one person drinking her tea quitely. This person dressed as a swordgirl, she wearing a big hat, look like she doesn’t want to review her identity to others. She sat, opposite to Xiao Peng, with one table apart, but Xiao Peng, still managed to recognized that was the girl he met yesterday.

“Umh, Han Zhu is really small, there she is, this time, I’ll get you back, how dare you play dirty trick on me.” But Xiao Peng thought was interrupted by the sound of people yelling from down below. The guards were making way for a carriage to go passed, there were around 10 guards protected the carriage.

“Wow, what a big fuss, it must be someone very important.” Xiao Peng, grin and turn this head back to face the girl, just then he gave a big cried.

-My God, where the hell did she gone, she was here…..a minute ago! As Xiao Peng, ran quickly to the girl table. His head wondered around, with lot of disappointment. But as he turn to looks down on the street, there she was walking out of the restaurant to followed the carriage people.

“ What is that girl up to! Hang on, I better not let her get out of my sight!” By the thinking of it, Xiao Peng, quickly make his way out of the restaurant, just a few minutes before the waiter brought the food out. He was stock and frustrated, wondering what had happen to his customer.

Chapter 4

At the street market, Xiao Wei had quickly blended in with the crown following the carriage. But she suddenly stood still, and turned around to see who just patched on her shoulder. Looking at the man, she let out an irritating sight, and quickly pull the man with her out of the crown and turn in the a small street near there.

-Lao Ge, I’m on a mission, don’t distract, okay! Said Xiao Wei, wanting to come back to the crown, but she felt Lao Ge grabbed onto her arm.

-Xiao Nu, I come to tell you some important things. And you know me, the great fortune teller like me, is only people usually come to me, not me come to them, but you is exceptional. So you better listen to what I have to say, otherwise, my mood will gone and you’ll never fine out.

“Gosh, he grown so old, yet he never change, still talking for ever.” Xiao Wei thought to her self, looking uncomfortable at Lao Ge. Her eyebrow curved, she knew if she not going to let Lao Ge, say what ever he want to say, he will not let her off.

-Alright..!Make it short and neat! By the way I’m on a mission now, will I succeed? Asked Xiao Wei, when she just thought of something else more interesting to know, rather then Lao Ge’s nonsense.

-Hey, listen to me first..as Lao Ge gave Vicki a hit on her head, she pretend to make a paining sound. Then Lao Ge slowly grab with hands together, as he assure her.

-Xiao Nu, your fate has come. Soon or later you will met your fate, that god have set for you so be aware and look out for it, won’t you?

-Huh? Xiao Wei, let out a sound, from past experience, she knew that Lao Ge was always confuse her, with all of his fate and destiny prediction. But this time he is the worst!

By then Xiao Wei was distracted again from the crown still yelling out loud. She suddenly realizes of that she meant to be doing. Quickly put her hand on Lao Ge.

-Alright, alright? Thank you for telling, I appreciated very much, okay, I got a job to complete. So can you do me a small favour, please stay out of my sight, for….as long as you can…Bye-bye, Lao Ge.

By the phrase of that Xiao Wei, run as faster as she can to get out of Lao ge grab. She make a quick run back out to the street, when she heard Lao ge yelling out.

-Hey Xiao Nu, did you attack a young man in the forest yesterday!

-What? She cried in surprised. But doesn’t bother to come back to Lao Ge.

“That insaned Lao Ge, truly know how to predict things. Sometime I even doubt of his blindness so much” thought Xiao Wei, but her mind were sooner turn back to the mission, she made her moves quicker to get a closer view at the carriage.

Xiao Peng, all this time, were trying to chase after Xiao Wei, since he is so eager to take revenge. But this stomach gave out a big groaning sound, force him to stop.

-Gosh I’m hungry. Wait, I have to eat something, other wise when I chased up to that little thief, how can I defeat her.

From that he turn to a hot bun store near by, and grabbed two pork buns. But when he look back at the crown, the carriage is still there, but the girl was no where to be found.

-Huh? She disappeared again..How can she…Aiyah, Xiao Peng, you’re really hopeless..Better look around for her, she may not be so far away! Xiao Peng thought, as he still walking to the carriage’s way, while his eyes search around, hoping he could see, who he wanting to see.

“At the meeting last night, Shi fu remind our gang of the lattern festival coming up in two nights, we have to collect as much goods as possible, to buy food, and give out to all the poor people whose going to be packed. I think I make a right decision, decided to rob the magistrate’s wife.” Thought Xiao Wei, standing up above in one of the branches, observing the carriage moving slowly into the forest, at this time, they have passed the street, so no more people to follow, except for Xiao Wei Wei, the thief.

“Shi fu said the Magistrate is a nasty man, who take corruption. And in once and a while, he would gather all his corrupted money, and sent his wife to bring them back to there home town, to prevent anything happened. So his wife is lucky today, because she meeting me, if it was Ming ge ge. I don’t want to imagine”.

While thinking Xiao Wei also make her moves to other branch following the people. When she saw them had moved deeper in the forest, she decided it was time. And off she went flying down, spinning herself to get in front of the carriage, then landed to stopped in the people’s way.

It worked, as all the guards saw a female standing on their way, they stood still and gently put the carriage down. By then a loud cry coming out from the carriage.

-Why are you stopping? The lady yelled in a nasty toned.

-Fu Zin, there a girl stopping our way, we can’t go further. Said one of the guard in a puzzle voice.

Xiao Wei, been standing straight, with her hands on her hip, now seeing the wealthy fat lady got out of the carriage.

“Cheeses, that is one big fat lady, oh, I felt sorry for all the guards..”She thought in amusement

-Wah? Xiao Zi, what are you doing, stopping on the way of my carriage! Yelled out by the lady, she sound very demanding, as her normal habits.

-I am Xiao Wei Wei, knowing Fu Zin, on the way to visit your home town, so I dropped by to say hi! Fu Zin, why, don’t you welcome in! Answer Xiao Wei, with a mischief smiled.

All the guard started to puzzle and shake even more as most of them all aware, of the name Xiao Wei Wei, and Han Zhu thief gang. The Lady had turn white, but she able to keep up her aggressive voice.

-Why should I welcome you, I don’t know you, get out….

Xiao Wei, shook her head, and placing her tongue between her teeth, it make out a sound..

-Tick..tick…Fu Zin, your knowledge must be very low. Everyone know that Xiao Wei, is a favoured guest of all the wealthy family, especially the one who live on corruption like YOURS ONE. Just in a mention of corruption, Xiao Wei, suddenly have a change of paste her words is strong, and sound more violent.

The Lady took a few steps back from Xiao Wei yelling. But she soon summoned all the guard to start attracking…By then a block of guards, around ten, obeyed to the order, and they all running toward Xiao Wei, each holding a wooden long stick in hand.

“I feel pity for you guards, so I don’t want to hurt you! Go to sleep instead, Okay!” By that thought Xiao Wei, spin her self up above with her kung fu, and dropping back two little black seeds. When the seeds hit the ground, immediately made out an explosive sound, then white smoke started to arose among the people.

Just like that, in after 5 minutes, Xiao Wei, flu down from the tree branches, to find everyone has fallen in to deep sleep. Xiao Wei brushed her nose with her thumb, lifting her face up, showing a satisfied expression, pleadingly with her works.

In no time, after she went in the carriage and took out two large bag, put them on her shoulder, and fly away…

Xiao Wei keep making her way back home. Running through the forest with her highly trained kung fu.

“Umh, that was such an easy batch. Why must shi fu want Ming ge ge to follow me. Lucky I refuse other wise, he would be useless.” Xiao Wei’s thought were distracted, with a man spin on top of her head and landed in front of her.

-Um! Xiao Zi, why are you always appear when I’m working. Xiao Wei cried out loud when recognizing the same man had stopped her yesterday.

-Working, you call that working…hahahaha…Xiao jie, haven’t you learn to distinguish between proper working then stealing other people works. Xiao Peng, said confidently, crossing his arm in his chest.

-Xiao Zi, you surely haven’t learn you lesson, well let me show you more today! Xiao Wei was about to jumped to Xiao Peng, to start the fight. But Xiao Peng took a step, so she stopped also.

-Hey, good guys, don’t play dirty trick, like using that sleeping powder! Exclaimed Xiao Peng, as he still aware of the fight yesterday.

-Well, strange, I’m a thief, not a good guy, so why should I care. But to be fair with silly Xiao Zi like you. I’ll fight bare hand. Xiao Wei gave an betting glance on Xiao Peng. As usually she fly off the started the fight.

After a few, spinning, kicking, and ducking, Xiao Wei managed to grabbed hole on to Xiao Peng, left arm, she turned to his back, twist to arm round to the back, while her other hand pushing on his shoulder. Xiao Peng, gave out a cried.

-Ouch, Ouch, OUCH…that really hurt…please Xiao jie, let me go..! Begging Xiao Peng, feeling the pain increasing.

-Um, I’m not a xiao jie! Said Xiao Wei, sharply, while pulling Xiao Peng’s arm even harder.

-Ouch, ouch…. then da cu niang, da nu zhip (female hero), please khen an, let me go…please…Beggin some more, he cried out even louder.

Xiao Wei was amused by his changing phrase so quick, she gave him a kick on his bottom and letting him go, slamming down to the ground. Yet Xiao Peng, gave out another cry. Xiao Wei, looking at him strangely, at some stage she evens thought he was exaggerating the scenes.

-Xiao Zi, you better learn your lesson from now on, and don’t even disturb da cu niang’s way Okay! So long, never see you again. At that Xiao Wei spin herself away with the two big bags of money.

Xiao Peng, laying there after a few minute to collected himself, before trying to sit up. One hand putting on his cheek. Suddenly, an idea an up in him.

“I must find her again” He thought, while standing up, with full of groaning in pain…

Chapter 5

But the streets today were rather different. There were very few people walking around, and a lot of store were closed. Then he view a stadium was crowned with people, Xiao Peng's curiosity arosed. Squashing through the noisy crown, Xiao Peng managed to get a better view, at what the stadium look like.

-Yes, this had happen in the pasted two years. Everytime when it reach to the Lattern festival. Lam Lao da Ye would open a Shi Fu Hoi for Lam Xiao Jie. The rule is for all the young men to have a martial art competition, and who ever won the most will get to challenge with Xiao Jie. If that person defeated Xiao Jie, she will be marry to him. But so far, no one have managed to done that.

Xiao Peng, look was a bit confused. The man on stage, appear to be familiar, only if he let his hair down, and take away the mustache.

To his guest he was right. The new man on the stage definitely was Xiao Wei, disguising as a man. She fought powerfully on stage, and in no time, she defeated the other man.
Once again the crown started to cheer for the winner.

-Cheeses, the other man have been fighting so well, he won three matches continuously. All day long, he been the best one. But now, there another new man, I think he would be the last one to challenge with Lam Xiao Jie. Said one man, next to Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng still looks puzzle and uncertain, facing back to the stage.

Truly after the last fight, no one else was dare enough to come up the stage, challenge the new winner (Xiao Wei). And soon Lam Xiao Jie walked out from her seat in the back of the stage watching the fight. The crown started to cheer even louder. If any one come closer to them, would see that even thought they were challenging, the two girls (or a girl and a guy) would constantly gave a knowing smile or glance, kind like they were communicating to each other by expression. After a short time, Xin Ru, got a change to face close with Xiao Wei, she quickly gave Xiao Wei a slight nodded. Xiao Wei, also return back an agreed nodded. The two girls break off fighting even more excitement, flying through air, and spinning around. But Xiao Wei, soon become weaker, and after a feel punches, Xin Ru, managed to defeated Xiao Wei. Who got kick, spinning up, but landed stablely on the ground.

-Lam Xiao Jie, surely has the greatest martial art. I would not be your match. Lao da Ye, I giving up. Xiao Wei, put her hand together, as a man voice, she congratulated, and left the stage, with a amusement look.

Lam Lao da Ye, nodded since he had no other choice. But he was disappointed a million, since he fail to look for his daughter a husband, and for himself a highly martial art trained coordinator in his mission to take back the crown for prince Yu Peng..

Mean while Xiao Peng, were busy searching for the man who just went off stage (Xiao Wei), after pushing through among the people, he stopped with a slight of disappointment.

Inside the house Lam Lao da ye, is playing chess with his old friends. The man, walked to beside Lao ye, and whisper to his ear.

Upon hearing the news, Lam Lao Ye, give an furious look, he turn to give the order for his son.

-Xin Tan, watch him closely will you, find out what he is up to, but don’t do anything, and don’t let he see you. And by the way watch out for your sister, she disappeared again.

-Shir, ah ma. Xin Tan gave a respective bow to his father and the elderly, then walked off to the garden. While Lam Lao ye, turning back to his cheerful pace continue in the chess match.

But it was too late, when Yu Jin look back in front of him, a beautiful girl had bumped in to him, she was carrying a big brown bag on her shoulder, looking heavy and a big paper bad full of hot buns on the other hand. By the bump she lost her balance and begin to stumple. Luckily Yu Jin managed to put his arm quickly grab on her waist, preventing her from falling down the ground. But a few of the hot buns drop out landed in the dirt.

The girl quickly, jump up, with worry, not noticing much of Yu Jin, she just quickly bend down to pick up the buns, and peeled of the dirty bits. On seeing that Yu Jin, feel a bit of guilt so he also bend down to give a hand.

By now seeing another hands is help her with the bun, Xiao Wei, looked up. Yu Jin was froze, throughout his life living in the palace, he see a lot of beautiful princesses and niang niang, but he never come crossed with a beauty that so simple yet so attractive.

-Hey! Com back here, what do you mean by, for no reason or with reason, you can’t do that. Xiao Peng, ran over to called out, but Xiao Wei and Xin Ru had long gone. He stumble hard his feet on the ground. Blaming himself for going to easy with her promise.
But then Xiao Peng, feel someone patched on his shoulder. He turned around to face Yu Jin, with a friendly smile.

-Xiao Peng, gege, just let her go! Don’t worry, just make sure next time you don’t get in to trouble with her, then she got no reason to go after you.

-Me, getting in trouble with her. Ai yah, Yu Cung Zi, you don’t know, she’s always creating trouble infront of me. I’m a good person, seeing her doing bad things, how can I control myself. Xiao Peng, starting to argued back, seeing Yu Jin was on Xiao Wei’s side.

But he knows no matter what it would be very hard for him to forget the name Xiao Wei.

Xiao Peng, was expecting Yu Jin could jump up with fright on knowing who Xiao Wei really is. But out of his unawareness, Yu Jin had totally fallen for Xiao Wei, no matter who she is. Xiao Peng, ticked his tongue between his teeth, feeling pity for Yu Jin, then decided to snap Yu Jin out off his de javu.

-Yu cung zi, Don’t let me guess right, that you had feeling for that little thief…Xiao Peng teased.

Yu Jin, on the joke, snap out of his dreaming stage, he got a little embrassed and turned red, when Xiao Peng, had pointed the arrow right at the center.
Xiao Dong, upong seeing his master puzzled look, jumped in to rescue.

-Um…shao ye…It’s kind of late…Shall he head back to the motel…Xiao Dong bending his back while talking to Yu Jin.

-Ah, yeh…I better to and rest to, Yu Jin cung Zi, it’s nice meeting you, thank you for saving my life by the way. If it not for you I don’t know wether I can still be in one piece by this time…Xie xie…Tai chen. Xiao Peng, saying good bye to Yu Jin.

The two young men said goodbye to each other and one head back to the motel in town with his servant. The other is looking for a place to rest.

Chapter 8

-What? Xiao Wei, cried out.

-But what worst is ah-ma actually has been requested for me to go in the palace.

-How comes? Xiao Wei was taking shock by shock.

-Well, you know how ah ma is still very loyal to the pasted Emperor. He’s been trying to take back the crown for the real prince. So he want me to be an insider in the palace, and the seduced the prince, so things could become easier. Xin Ru, still fell the argument that she just had with her father, when she rejected to obey.

But I don’t want to get marry that way, I know I can find my own love, so I asked you to play along with me at the pasted three years. -I don’t know, I just had argued with ah-ma and left the house. Xin Ru, replied in frustration.

Xiao Wei, trying to search through her head to find a best solution to help Xin Ru. Suddenly, she feel Xin Ru, pulling her sleeves, she looks up to find a pleading face, stare at her.

-Xiao Wei, I was just wonder, if you can replace me when the carriage come to take me to the palace. Xin Ru speak out softly as she was affair of other people might be ear dropping.

-What? And then what about you, about me! I’m not going to be a prince’s wife. Xiao Wei, rejected, as the thought of being locked in four wall of the palace will kill her. But Xin Ru still continued on persuading.

-Listen, I will escape from my house, on the night before the leaving ceremony, you can sneak and pretend to be me, as the bride. The next morning, you will be leaving on a house carriage going to the palace. One the way, they have to come pasted the forest. When they was unaware, you can drug them with your sleeping pills, and escaped. Making look like that bride been kidnapped. -Hahahahaha…you’re right, you may ending up fallen to sleep again..then nothing will work.

Xiao Wei, still uncertain when the thought of her shi-fu aroused. But then both girls got distract from someone, coming to where they have been sitting.

-I has a break? Xiao Wei asked but, not believing her own ears

-For two weeks!! . Xin Ru open wided, staring at Minh Tai with a great smile. She was just found herself getting all excited over Xiao Wei break.

Ming Tai was totally embarrassed as he thought Xin Ru was looking at him, so he quickly say good bye to the girls and head off. When Ming Tai had left, both girls cried out for joy.

-Wow, you have a break that means you can help me. Xin Ru said, while hugging Xiao Wei non-stop.

-Yeah, and I will not get blame from shi fu since he said I can do anything I want…Do when do we started. Xiao Wei hyperactive voice came back, as she overjoyed with being a bride of a prince, even only for a feel hours.

-Oh tomorrow night! Xin Ru. Said.

-Tomorrow night? Ask Xiao Wei was a bit concern the timing was too rushed. But we let the thought fly by, and came back, to her joy again..

Xin Ru, stay back for awhile to thanks Xiao Wei, then she head back home, pretending to me agreed with the wedding, but instead she is packing for a long leave from home.

Chapter 9

“Wow, look at all this jewellery on me. Xiao Wei, you’re going to get very lucky”. Then she put her arms out, to take a closer examine, at her wedding grown. She never wear anything in Red before, her favored colors were yellow or orange and blue. Red was too fancy. She drops down her slower lips disapproving and shook her head. The dress is the only thing that she doesn’t like.

“Wait, I think it time, they moving in the forest. Umh…I really want to take a look at huang cung…but well, if I go in there I might never get out, and that could be very bad….No no no..I have to go.” Xiao Wei, peeked out of the window to decided on the striking time. But her interest of getting out was soon disappeared as she turned her full attention, to the guard conversation, who were riding the carriage at the front.

-Do you know that the prince is still out, I heard the guard in Huang Cung said, that Tai Zi (Prince) have been disappeared for 1 months, and the emperor really mad about it! Said the first guy.

-So why did the emperor dethrone daughter of Lam Lao da ye to Tai Zi, are you sure? Said guy two.

-Ofcouse I’m sure, the emperor want to use this news to attract Tai Zi, hoping he could get come back!

-Oh, I see! Then, I’m just sorry for Lam xiao jie. She might not even get to see her groom on her wedding night. Or may be he’ll never come back…

The two guys at the same time left out sympathy slight and ride on. Mean while in the carriage, Xiao Wei, have heard everything.

“Um…so the prince is not home yet, that’s mean if I go in there I won’t have to be the wife. That’s mean I can be free. That’s mean I could explore to see what the palace really like…”Xiao Wei eye’s were full of mischievous and she continued her thought “That mean I can stay back, and enjoy my ride to Huang Cung…hahahahaha…” Xiao Wei, couldn’t stop but to laugh out laugh. The two guys riding the house at the front were shock, they looked at each other, wondering if the bride is okay.

At Xiao Wei’s house, the empty temple.

Xin Ru was frustrating, as she doesn’t know what had happened to Xiao Wei. She remembered back of telling Xiao Wei to come home, right away. But it had been two days and there’s no sign of Xiao Wei. This morning Xin Ru went out the market, to see if there’s any news of the run away bride of the prince. But everything seems quite.

It’s getting dark, and Xin Ru sat down on the ground, playing helplessly with a tree branch. She hated being alone, it’s kind of scary especially in a messy place like this one. She wonder how Xiao Wei could survived in here..

Suddenly, a voice called in from outside.

-Is any one in there. Xiao Peng, yell out and patiently wait for the replies, as he thought, even if it’s look like an old left out temple, he’s better ask first before coming in. By not hearing any reply after that, he happily went in.

Xin Ru looked at the doorway, trying to figure out, who just yelled. She haven’t got a chance to reply yet, a guy had walked in. He immediately stopped as he spotted Xin Ru.

-Lam xiao jie?…Xiao Peng mumbled s he’s not believing in his own eyes, how can I see a magistrate’s daughter, sitting alone in the old dusty temple.

“Xiao Peng” Xin Ru called out inside, she was too shock to speak.

-What…oh..I’m just looking for a place to rest over night! Xiao Peng, returned to the conversation, forgotten about his previous question that Xin Ru hasn’t answer yet.

-Oh…in that case you can stay here then. Umh, you sleep over there, I’ll stay here. At least I got company with me tonight. I had been so lonely in the last two nights. Xin Ru happily pointed the spot to Xiao Peng.

“Um…she slept here? That strange” Xiao Peng, began his thinking task again, put up one hand to rubbed his chin.

-Xiao jie, you don’t tell me that this is your home, right? Xiao Peng, began to investigated, placing a strange look at Xin Ru.

Xin Ru, who immediately turned red by that look. The circumstance was not new for her, but she can’t stop feeling her shyness aroused every time Xiao Peng looks at her.

“Ah..ha…I was right, after a few days rest, now I’m going to bump in that silly thief again.”

-But why are you alone? He wanted to ask, where is Xiao Wei, but instead he twisted his words around.

-Xiao Wei…I don’t know, she haven’t returned since the day of departure, she meant to be coming back straight away! Xin Ru came back to her frustration, on the thought of Xiao Wei.
Xiao Peng, catches the unhappy look on Xin Ru, but his curious have turned on at a high level as he desperate want to fin out what is Xiao Wei the thief been up to.

-What departure, where did she gone?

Xin Ru, began to roll her eyes around, trying to find a best answer so it could stop him from asking further.

-Hah?…Um..she gone to do something for me….Anyway, you can take your rest now, I’ll tell you all, later. Thank you for staying with me..Xin Ru smiled, as she successfully switched over the subject again.

Xiao Peng, in no pressure, let her off for now. He slowly made his way to the other side of the room, and sat down. Looking at Xin Ru “I never see a Xiao jie, acting like her!” As he added in with the list of amazement in Han Zhu.

-You know I’m so glad, you’re here, other wise, I could be bored to death. Xin Ru said after siting down at her corner.

-Why are you so scare of being alone? “At least, she is much more polite then that thief who always want to kill me” Xiao Peng thought of Xiao Wei, while looking at Xin Ru.

Xin Ru blushed and looked down, to escape Xiao Peng eyes sight.

-Um, cause since I was small still now, I never be a lone. Everywhere I go, there have to be people, at home I got the servant following me. When I go out, I followed Xiao Wei.

-Are you and that thief,…sorry, Xiao Wei is it? Are you close friend or something? Xiao Peng asked, as he want to know more about the thief named Xiao Wei.

-Yes, I really admired Xiao Wei’s life, being free and careless, and doing good course! As Xiao Wei truly was a big impact on Xin Ru, her dream finally come true, just as Xiao Wei show her how to do it.

-Good course? You’re calling stealing is good course! Xiao Peng, have a big disagreed, he refused to judge Xiao Wei as a good person.

-Shao ye, I heard that Huang Shan had wedded a magistrate’s daughter to be your wife. Xiao Dong paused, turning the look for his master’s reaction.

-That is only a plan from Huang ah ma. He wants to get me back in the palace. But I’m not falling for it. Yu Jin, replied with a light smile, when the thought of his father, brings him ashamed.

-But I know the bride had already been picked up. I hear it’s Lam xiao jie, daughter of Lam Tiet da ye.

-What ever? I don’t care. I’m not coming back if I haven’t find out where about is Yu Peng.

While Xiao Dong, continued to expand on his thoughts.

-But we haven’t no clues where to find that person, plus it been nearly 20 years, we spend nearly a month in Han Zhu but nothing come up, may be he’s dead.

-You’re wrong, Yu Jin suddenly turn around, Yu Peng can’t be dead, if he is, then Huang ah ma will not keep sending out trope to look for him, and to destroy him. But I had to get to Yu Peng, before the Ah ma’s guys does. Yu Jin pointed out his aim again, as if he’ll never give up.

-Shao ye, so you’re really going to fight against Huang Shan. Xiao Dong, felling a chill through his spine, when the thought of fighting with the Emperor.

-I’m not fighting against Huang Ah Ma, I’m just doing what he should did 20 years ago, hopefully it can decreased the guilt he had. Yu Jin trying to convinced Xiao Dong to not worry, as he also felt sorry for pulling him in.

Xiao Dong understand his master more than better, he’s quite clear that his master will never return if he’s not get what he wish. Xiao Dong slowly frowned to himself, and switched to another the thought.

-Ah, I wonder if that Lam Xiao jie, is enjoying herself in the palace, a new bride without a groom. Xiao Peng lead his elbow against the table to support his chin at his thinking stage.

“Lam Xiao jie!” Yu Jin repeated, as he thought this just would be another normal xiao jie, who always dreamt to become a prince’s wife, so even know he’s not there, she still pretty much enjoy the title as duchess.

Xiao Wei, keep working up and down in her room, with two maids follow beside her. It been her third day staying at the palace and she is now getting bored with nothing to do.

“Three days, I have since almost anything in the palace, I’m tired now, really a palace is not where I want to be, and a prince is not who I want to marry! So I’m going tonight, if not Xin Ru could be worry.” As Xiao Wei decided on her finally decision tonight. She then dismissed all the maids. When the palace was fast as sleep, and the sun still not raises yet. Xiao Wei, carrying her big bags of gold and jewellery that she collected, on her back, and tip toes gently but quickly to the main gate. All of her maid and servants had been dropped with the sleeping powder, they all enjoying a sweat dream.

Xiao Wei spin herself up to the roof once she reached the wall, at the gate, she then make her way gentle to all the guard who were watching the gate, and slowly, took out the sleeping power and sprinkle it all over the four guards, five minute later, everyone had gone to sleep, while still standing, except for Xiao Wei, who took the opportunity and quickly jumped down to the outside of the palace.

She turned back, admiring herself in completed such a big task, with all the profit on her shoulder.
“Ah..Huang Cung, is just that, even Xiao Wei I , can get out and in when ever I want too. Um, I wonder why shi fu, never think of taking in the palace, may be he saved the best for last. But then I will be the one to lead then back in Huang Cung again, cause I know the place..hihihihi” Xiao Wei, happily passed through the forest, when the sunshine come, as she want to see Xin Ru, and tell for all about it.

She stopped at an newly opened bun shop, and asked for two, while at the same time, a boy always run over and asked for four. He then cried out when his eyes met Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei, cu naing, you’re here too? Xiao Dong cried out so loud that even Yu Jin standing outside still able to hear it clearly. At the mentioned of Xiao Wei, he quickly run inside.

-You are…Xiao Wei was struggling with her memories, as she known the other person must had met her, somewhere before, but to her mind it was blank, until Yu Jin appeared behind Xiao Dong.

-Xiao Wei cu niang, long time no see. Yu Jin couldn’t stopped smiling, as he observed Xiao Wei after more than one week of separation, wonder if Xiao Wei still remember of him, like he always remember of her.

-Oh, Yu Jin Cung Zi, how have you been! Xiao Wei, happily jumped up when she recognized a familiar person to her.

Yu Jin, couldn’t help with feeling over the moon on seeing Xiao Wei again, he asked Xiao Wei so spend breakfast together, so they both went and seat in the table at the Bun’s shop, while Xiao Dong, is buying the meals for them.

The two chatted happily, as Yu Jin showed his admiration, to her jobs. Xiao Wei, was surprised, but she is touched by sympathy, that just what she doesn’t get often. Yu Jin, lied about himself, saying he’s from a different town, and is now touring in Han Zhu. While Xiao Wei refused to tell the truth about where is her big bag came from. She replied, it was on a mission.

After their meals, Xiao Wei, decided to take Yu Jin to look for Xin Ru, and then both of them could accompany him to more different places in Han Zhu. So they walked off together.

Chapter 11

Xin Ru, is walking with Xiao Peng, she is not very keen on going out, in case the guards from her house would recognized her. But on the other hand, she wanted to find news about Xiao Wei. So she had to go, with no other choice. After a few days pasted with no news from Xiao Wei, Xin Ru was so anxious of waiting that she told Xiao Peng everything. Some how, she felt very trustful toward him since they first met.

Xiao Peng, on hearing the story of Xiao Wei disguised as a bride so Xin Ru could escape. He realized, that she is not all that bad.

They walked slowly through the busy street. Xin Ru was a bit behind Xiao Peng, hopfully he could covered her. But Xiao Peng suddenly ran to one of the store beside. Xin Ru got shocked and quickly followed.

-Wow, looked at all this crafts? As Xiao Peng got amaze in front table which laid a lots of creative woodcarving.

-Oh, this is a decorating shop, people come here usually when they just moved to a new house, or want to re-decorate their old house. See it have everything in it. Xin Ru, was proudly introduced to Xiao Peng, about the shop. But as she looked at him, she soon realised he had no attention in her talking. He was going through every single piece in the Wood craft table.

Xin Ru stumbles hard to Xiao Peng, complaining.
-Hey, I’m talking, why aren’t you listen to me.

-Hey, xiao jie, looked at this flute, I never see such a nice flute like this in my entire life. As Xiao Peng, brought a beautiful crafted wooden flute, but Xin Ru, didn’t bother, so Xiao Peng, took it to the other way to have a closer look at the flute.

-Ai yah, can you not call me xiao jie. It’s Xin Ru. Said Xin Run as she walked after Xiao Peng, and whispered to him, in case anyone else happens to eardropping.

-Hao la, Xin Ru cu niang. Wow definitely have to get this flute. As Xiao Peng was answering to Xin Ru, but his eyes still attached to the flute.

-Hah? You know how to play the flute. Xin Ru was amazed, when Xiao Peng said he’s going to get the flute.

Xiao Peng, looked up at her with a cheeky smile, that make him appealed to be so very cute.

-Yeah, kind off, I pinched it from the neighbor boy. At home I had one flute, but not as nice as this one, so when I’m lonely I could play it. But somehow, I lost it on the way. And now it’s time for a new one. Eh? I play for you to listen later okay! Hope you will my first supporter.

Xin Ru, on hearing Xiao Peng, is going to play the flute to her. Nodded a few times in excitement.

Then Xiao Peng, and Xin Ru make their ways to the counter, pay the money for the flute and left the shop, continued walking down the street.
Until, Xiao Peng suddenly paused, as Xin Ru wondered, what was make him stopped?

“There she is again. Prepare yourself!” Xiao Peng frowned to himself as seeing Xiao Wei, starting to appear from a far, walking toward him and Xin Ru

Xiao Wei, was ever more happier than her normal cheerful standard to be walking down the old time market. She was skipping store to store as if she had been gone for years. Behind her, followed Yu Jin, who been watching her with full attraction, and not to left out the loyal Xiao Dong, looking after the master.

Suddenly, Xiao Wei stopped, and she could hear Yu Jin, and Xiao Dong rush to see what happened.
As they approached, they saw Xiao Wei, paused and then suddenly jump up with joy, as she called out.

-Hey, XIN RU, XIN RU, over here!

-Hah! Xiao Wei, Xiao Wei! Waved Xin ru, before she made the run for ward to Xiao Wei. Who also were running to her.

At the moment they reached each other. They give out the closest hugs they ever had, and then cried and then laughed, then jumped hand in hand together. Yu Jin, Xiao Peng, and Xiao Dong were at the scene, they feeling a bit embarrassed due to the people walking passed who gave them all a very weird look.

-Tien ah? Can you girls, save all of you crying or hugging back at home! As Xiao Peng, stepped close to remind the girl that they being view by the public. Not as they care, but as soon as Xiao Wei saw Xiao Peng, she immediately jumped to him, waving her finger in front of his face, Xiao Peng had to stepped a few steps back.

-Xiao Zi, didn’t I tell you to stay away from me. What are you doing? As Xiao Wei stepped forward, like she could punch him anytime.

-Eh..eh..! You promise not to killed me or create a fight! As Xiao Peng, quickly remind Xiao Wei about her old promise.

On that Xiao Wei, suddenly paused back. Well, she actually did promise. But before she let him go, there have to be a warning.

-I only promise not to killed you or create a fight with no reason only! So better watch what you’re doing near by me. As Xiao Wei, clutch her fist and pushed it straight toward in front of Xiao Peng’s nose, just stopped as a few inches apart. Then she walked back to Xin Ru.

By now Yu Jin decided he should join in the group.

-Hao la, why don’t we all find a place to sit down and we can continue on. Yu Jin was wishing for the girls to except his offer, as he kind of with Xiao Peng on the idea being in front of the public.

-Eh! Yu Jin Cung zi, ni hao la! As Xin Ru, greeted when she saw Yu Jin walked out.

-Yeah, we had this breakfast together. It was fun talking to him. Anyway, why not come home, I missed my little temple so much. Yu Jin Cung Zi, my house is not as normal as other houses, hope you don’t mind dropping by. It’s does have a very nice view. Xiao Wei, speak out her idea, but she was concern about Yu Jin, since he look like an upper class person.

-Don’t worry I’m not that picking. Yu Jin replied happily. And he walked to one side leaving the girl to lead the way.

Just then Xin Ru remember of Xiao Peng, she turned around, to find a grumpy look on this face.

-Xiao Peng, ain’t you coming with us? Xin Ru called out.

-Why does he has to follow with us? As Xiao Wei objected immediately.

-Xiao Peng, had been sharing the temple with us? Xin Ru finally rememberd to tell Xiao Wei, about Xiao Peng staying. But in replied Xiao Wei jumped out and angrily shocked.

-What? Who said you can walk in my house? As Xiao Wei lift her face up to Xiao Peng, creating a quarrel to start.

-Well, excuse me, not as I love to stay at your old and dusty temple. If it not for Xin Ru cu niang who asked me to stay back. I would not dare to sleep there even just one night. I’m affair of been haunted by an evil ghost. Just like the one talking to me just then. Xiao Peng hit back, with a mischief smile.
-You..who are you calling a ghost, and what old and dusty temple….Xiao Wei was preparing to jump over to grab Xiao Peng, but she was held back by Xin Ru, she pulled her to keep walking.

-Come on, let go home. I am so desperately want to find out what had happen to you all this day…

Xiao Wei, unwontedly had to walk with Xin Ru.

Xiao Peng, on the other side was not much better, seeing Xiao Wei wanting to attack him, he even step closer. But then Yu Jin, came forward, patched on his shoulder, and shook his head, indicated Xiao Peng to let it go.

Soon, the five of them came back to Xiao Wei’s house..

Chapter 12

The four of them is sitting around o fire, listening to Xiao Wei newly adventure in Huang Cung, except for Xiao Dong who sat outside.

-Ai Yah, you really bad, you went to Huang Cung with out telling me, I was worried sick for you! Xin Ru gave out a slap on Xiao Wei shoulder, as revenged for all her waiting.

-Sorry, Xin Ru, I didn’t thought that I would go in there, but when I heard the prince is not home so I couldn’t control my curiosity. Xiao Wei replied to comfort for Xin Ru, she thanks a lots for a beautiful friendship that the two of them shared.

Suddenly, Xiao Peng jumped on the discussion, and Xiao Wei, immediately gave him the look.

-Hah..To me, that prince is enjoying so much fun outside, that why he doesn’t want to come home. Xiao Peng, crossing his arms together.

-Umh, he is a crown prince, he know what he is doing. Not like you, who got nothing to do, rather following and be my tail. Xiao Wei, crossed a shape glance to Xiao Peng. But he immediately, rebelled back.

-Tien Yah, how many times I have to tell you to get in your head that I’m not following around! Xiao Peng, speak out harder to highly with words.

But its seem that Xiao Wei, never believe anything from him.

-How can I believed that, when the truth is you are here with me, when I don’t want you right!

Xiao Wei, fought back with a cheeky smile, as Xiao Peng, covered his head with his arms calling “Tien Ah” and turning to shake Yu Jin for the rescued.

-Yu Jin cung zi! Please speak a work of justice for me. Hey Cung Zi…

At the three of them turned their attention to Yu Jin, who had been sitting there quietly since Xiao Wei finished her story. Both of the girls also called out for Yu Jin.

While Yu Jin, was in his deep thought, about the whole wedding scene. So his father did do it. How he regreted not to stayed back, so he can be with Xiao Wei. But then the person who really dethrone to him is Lam xiao jie. At the moment Yu Jin, still had no idea that Xin Ru is the real bride as Xiao Wei, never mention that part of her and Xin Ru switching role.

Yu Jin, gave a shook, due to every body loud voice, as he return to the conversation.

-Yu Jin Cung Zi! Are you all right! Ask Xin Ru, concernedly

-Yeh! You seem lost…Xiao Wei added in, while still gave Yu Jin a weird look.

-May be, he found your story too hard to believe, so he felt as sleep why keeping the eyes open. Xiao Peng teased Xiao Wei. She quickly stand up, and wanting to chase him, but soon he remind of the promise and she calmed down.

-Watch out what you’re saying in front of me Xiao Zi, or I will slap you, until you haven’t got a single teeth left. As Xiao Wei pointed out her warning before returning to her seat.

Yu Jin, had stood up to, to settle between the two enemies. He put his hand on Xiao Peng shoulder, trying to tell him to not go any further.

-Ai yah, Yu Cing Zi, don’t have to worry about me. I know she only have a big mouth put can’t really do anything. Xiao Peng intended to speak with Yu Jin, but somehow Xiao Wei picked up all the words, she jumped over to grab him, but Xiao Peng, was quick enough to run to the other side.

-Xiao Zi, don’t you know I’m the most intelligence person, and I can take on any tasks no matter how difficult, so why can’t I finished you. I’m just being kind heart to let you of the hook. Xiao Wei yelled out, while ran over to chase Xiao Peng. Both of them started to move around surrounded Xin Ru and Yu Jin in a circle.

-I don’t believe you’re that good, cause there is one task, that you don’t have the ability to do. Xiao Peng, said while still running like madness from Xiao Wei grabbed.

-Oh, really so what is the task I want to know! Xiao Wei, stopped, furious in Xiao Peng, was playing a joke on her.

-Well…Xiao Peng did a paused at well, standing mischievously with his hand rubbing his chin, finding to right words to say.

-Well, if I ask you to be my shi-fu in martial art, you will never be able to take it right?

-WHAT! Yelled Xiao Wei, as she was sure that he is really playing a joke on her.

-What! Xin Ru and Yu Jin, all cried out in shock, they never thought of the idea that Xiao Peng would want Xiao Wei to be his master.

Xiao Wei, was about to replied back, when an idea popped in her head “This Xiao Zi here trying to play smart with me, so why don’t I give the hit back to him.” Xiao Wei, giggles, and she looked at Xiao Peng with a bet.

-Who said, I couldn’t take it to be your shi-fu. Have you tried asking me ever?

-So, you really going to be my shi fu, and teach me all your martial art skills, Oh yeah and that sleeping powder to.

Xin Ru and Yu Jin, were standing absolutely in horror shocked as the two enemies negotiating.

-Xiao Zi, listens, if you can agreed to my three requests. I will take you as my student and will teach you everything that I know, including the recipe for the sleep powder.

-Hao la, Hao la. I do it! Xiao Peng cried with joy, as he unwiring that Xiao Wei, is playing a trick on him.

-Hao…Listen to me carefully. First, once you master the skills, don’t ever use my martial art to harm or to kill innocent people, or people who don’t knows kung fu.

-Alright! That’s easy.

“This Xiao Zi, really a big idiot. But he dared to become my pupil, so why don’t I just take him, and I’ll will teach him how to be a good pupil.” As the thought, Xiao Wei, happily smile, and waved her hand to Xiao Peng can stand up.

-Hao la, Xiao Zi, I take you in as my pupils from now on, and remembered what you had promised. And especially the third one, Xiao Wei teased.

-Shir, shi-fu. Xiao Peng replied.

-Eh, one more thing is don’t call me shi-fu, people will thing I’m old, call me Xiao Cu Cu. Xiao Wei, give out a new name for Xiao Peng to called her.

-Shir, cu cu…

From now, the two newly teacher and student, suddenly realized about there quite two friends, they turn to looked at Xin Ru and Yu Jin, who like a big stature in front of them.

-You two are doing this for real? Xin Ru shakingly said.

Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng looked at each other, and in the same time they nodded with Xin Ru.

-Oh, Lao tien ye, please let this mean peace. Xin Ru, begged out.

-I think I happy for you guys. Yu Jin finally said as he still not believed, out of sometimes ago they were still fighting, but now they became student and teacher, just like that.

-Why you guys looking so shock. Xiao Wei gave out the question as she sensed something is funny going on.

But by then, both Xin Ru and Yu Jin, returned to their normal paste, and both replied.

-Nothing! Come with two-faked smile.

Xiao Wei looked away, with full of wonder. Then she stopped as the grab of someone on her sleeves.

-So Cu Cu, when is my first lesson! Xiao Peng exciting asked.

-Well, I have to test you tomorrow, so I go and rest now, your duty is to watch the place, get it Xiao Zi. Xiao Wei ordered.

-Can you not call me Xiao Zi! Xiao Peng, rebutted.

-I can called you what ever I want, Xiao zi, Xiao Zi. Xiao Wei, deliberately put her teasing face for Xiao Peng to see, she want him to be the one to quit.
Xiao Peng gave a shape glance to Xiao Wei, controlling his raising temper.

Yu Jin, by now was been invited to stay back for the night, and he doesn’t mind and happily excepted. The four talked a bit more for a while, with Xiao Wei, going on top of Xiao Peng all the time. And later they settle down, with Xin Ru and Xiao Wei, sleeping on one sight, Xiao Peng and Yu Jin, sleeping on the other. Xiao Dong was meant to be doing the guarding job, but felt as sleep at the front step outside, unaware of the black shadow on the tree outside, been listening and watching the four conversation, and moved quickly away.

Chapter 13

Xin Tan, walked in the study room and greet his father.

-Ah Ma, I been following Yu Jin. He is now hang with the group of Han Zhu thief, and…and..Xin Tan was unsure on how his father will reacted…and Xin Ru mei mei is with them as well.

-What? Shouted Mr Lam. How could she, I heard the news that she ran away from the palace, now that stubborn girl came back, and join in the group of Han Zhu. He pounded his fist on the table with anger about his uncontrollable daughter.

For a moment of silence, Mr Lam order Xin Tan to closed the door, and come closer, as he careful whisper his secret plan to Xin Tan.
After hearing the plan, Xin Tan smiled, and bowed to his father before take his leave

-Ah ma, fan xin (don’t worry). I will get Yu Jin for you, and will try to not get my sister involved in it. Xin Tan, will leave now to prepare.

The next morning, at the river bed behind Xiao Wei’s temple.

Xiao Peng, was standing on a big rock near by the water, and was blowing on his newly brought flute, beside him was Yu Jin, sitting not to far away, enjoy the relax music. But the peaceful only last long enough for one minute, until Xiao Wei, spin herself to where Xiao Peng was sitting, and as he not be warned, she quickly grab the flute from him, then did another spin and land on the ground.

-Hey, give me back my flute. Xiao Peng yelled, as he was attack.

-Hey, Xiao Zi, I asked you to come out here, so I and test your martial art skill, cause I first need to look for your weakness and develop from then. I didn’t asked you to play the flute, and by the way, you make terrible sound, heard my ears. Xiao Wei, teasingly yell at Xiao Peng, she was lying a bit, cause Xiao Peng, playing the flute was not that bad, but she just like to do it to annoy him.

-Hao la, give me back the flute first then you can test. Xiao Peng, walked close to where Xiao Wei, was standing put his hand out to grab the flute, but as he almost reach it. Xiao Wei quickly pulled it back, and jump to the other side.

-Want to get your flute back. All right! Fight for it. Xiao Zi, hold this. And Xiao Wei begins the challenge, she picked up a broken tree branch, with the side similar to the flute she was holding and threw it to Xiao Peng. That for fair, they both should use a weapon each.

Xiao Peng, left with no choice then to catch the branch, and started to stop all of Xiao Wei, moved. Xin Ru, had been out of the house for sometime as well, she came to sit next to Yu Jin, and started to watch Xiao Wei creating a hard time for Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng, had never been real trained in martial art before, so no matter how hard he tred, he could not stopped Xiao Wei. Within less then five minutes, Xiao Wei finished the fight off, by using the flute to do a full circle twist to spin Xiao Peng weapons out of his hand. And as the result Xiao Peng’s branch fled up the sky, and dropped on the other side of the river.

-Xiao Zi, you are useless. Your defend is weak, your kick is not quick enough, or concentration is only at the lowest level…and…Xiao Wei, gave out the whole description on Xiao Peng’s skilled after she easily won the match. But soon, Xiao Peng, jumped in

-Ai yah, I asked you be my teacher so you can teach me better martial arts skills, I didn’t ask you to analyses my weakness.

-Shut up, I didn’t give you permit to speak. Have you forgotten what you just promised last night! Xiao Wei raised her voice at Xiao Peng, looking so coldly outside, but she was laughing with fun on the inside

-You…you…Xiao Peng could feel his anger raising up to his throat, but as he remind himself for a benefit in tomorrow, he had to stay clam, and that there will be time later, for him to get her back.

Xin Ru and Yu Jin, were sitting like an audience, watching a play role on the stage, as they don’t know how to react. But after seeing both Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, were raising with anger, the signal to each other to take action.

Xin Ru made her way to Xiao Wei, while Yu Jin, walked to Xiao Peng.

-Heh..Come on, you guys been testing all morning, must the tired, come on Xiao Wei, let go back in the house to get some food. Xin Ru softened her voice sweaty, as one hand wrapped around Xiao Wei’s arm, and pulled her into the house.
Xiao Wei was no where near in giving up on Xiao Peng yet, but due to Xin Ru, she had to walk in the house hesitantly.

-Xiao Peng, if you really want to learn good kung fu, then you better be a lot nicer with your shi fu. Yu Jin stepped in to give the advice.

-Wo Shi-fu, she look more like my greatest enemy from the pasted life, now coming back to take revenge on me...Xiao Peng, yelled out of his anger, while walking to the rock to pick up his flute, that Xiao Wei had throw back, before she went in.

-No matter what, you’re the one that asked her to be your shi fu. Yu Jin still keep on talking to Xiao Peng.

-I know, I know. Now I have to suffer for a whole life, due too one minute of craziness. I never thought that she would agreed. And now she is doing this, so I can give up first, but Xiao Peng I, is not that easy. Xiao Peng relaxes sit down on a rock near by, as me proudly hit on his chest, saying he’s not going to lose for Xiao Wei.

Yu Jin, had nothing else to say, he just stood there silently, grinning and shook his head.

While in the house.

The moment Xiao Wei, stepped in the door, she quickly ran to the pot to pick out the food. While Xin Ru walking in behind Xiao Wei, was been attacked right away. An masked man, dressed in black, jumped out behind the door, and cover Xin Ru mouth, with a piece of white cloth, and he quickly carry her on his shoulder, and ran off.

Xiao Wei, on seeing the masked man took Xin Ru away, she quickly rush off to help, but a second masked man appeared from the other side of the door, and start fighting with him. If it was one on one match, with Xiao Wei kung fu, she will not loose that easy. But because a third masked man again appeared behind Xiao Wei’s left shoulder. She cried out in pain, when a white cloth also been placed over her month, and she’s too got carried away, but in to a different direction with Xin Ru.

Xiao Wei was taken to the right, as she still conscious, she quickly pulled out all the ribbon that tied on her hair, and drop them on the ground, hoping it would leave a sign for the other to find her.

Xin Ru was taken to the left, as the man pasted the forest, he didn’t know that the little servant was walking somewhere near there. On seeing Xin Ru been kidnapped away, he quickly ran to find his master to report about what happened.

Xiao Peng, and Yu Jin had decided to take a walk, that why they were not near enough to hear that the girl had been fighting. Until, Xiao dong spotted the two of them chatting happily, he cried out.

-Shao ye, shao ye…Xin Ru cu niang been kidnapped.

Yu Jin, and Xiao Peng, both let out a cry in shook.

-Are you sure? Yu Jin, confirm with Xiao Dong.

-How could this happed? Xiao Peng was confusing no less.

But Xiao Dong after swallowed a hard plum on his throat quickly said again.

-I saw it with my own eyes, Xin Ru cu niang, been kidnapped by and masked man in black, he was running left to the forest.

-Then has you seen Xiao Wei. Yu Jin asked worrily.

-No, I didn’t see her. Xiao Dong replied.

-This could be serious, Yu Jin cung Zi, since your skill is better then me, you can keep up chasing the man with Xin Ru. I’ll went back to the house and look for cu cu, and we will come to give you a hand. Xiao Peng, gave out with idea, as he pressure Yu Jin to leave right away.

Yu Jin, had no choice but to followed Xiao Peng’s plan, he nodded and ran to the left direction, followed him also had Xiao dong, while Xiao Peng, by himself when back to the house.

When he stepped inside the house, he got a strange feeling that something had happed to Xiao Wei as well, since the house was empty. But as he run out to go and tell Yu Jin, he stepped on to on of Xiao Wei hair pin that she left over, he believed that is the clue, to he moved on to look for any other clues or not. Where ever it had the clue
will follow that direction.

Yu Jin and Xiao Dong, rushed through the forest, not long later they found Xin Ru, been tied up under a big tree. They quickly rushed over, to untied to clothe from Xin Ru mouth, and Xiao dong cut out the robe.

-Yu Jin, cung zi, Xin Ru cried out with relief.

-Xin Ru cu naing, what had happen to you? Yu Jin asked back, as he was surprised why the masked man only tied Xin Ru in the forest, what is the purpose of taking her away.

Xin Ru stood up, and looked around for Xiao Wei. She was shock to see no sign of Xiao Wei.

-Where is Xiao Wei? She asked Yu Jin frightening.

-We thought she was still in the house, and Xiao Peng already, went to look for her… Yu Jin replied, wondering what made Xin Ru so shock.

-No, we were attack at the house, Xiao Wei can’t be there, this is a trap, and I know who did it, cung zi, followed me. Finished the sentence Xin Ru quickly walked out of the forest, followed by Yu Jin, and Xiao Dong. Suddenly, they saw a figure was coming toward them. Xin Ru was managed to recognize the person.

-Ming ge ge…She cried, seeing Minh Tai coming closer.

-Xin Ru cu niang, have you seen Xiao Wei, I’m looking for her, she is not in the house. Minh Tai, clamed himself down from all the rushing and asked Xin Ru for Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei, must be in danger, Ming ge ge, can you keep searching in the forest to see any sign of Xiao Wei, I have to go and talk with someone.

Minh Tai, nodded, as he knows at that moment there is nothing important then to look for Xiao Wei, so both they went in to different direction, Yu Jin decided to follow with Xin Ru.

-Xin Ru cu niang, where are you going. Yu Jin asked while keep walking at the same paste, to keep up with Xin Ru.

-I’m going home, looking for ah-ma. Xin Ru replied but just on concentrated to run as fast as possible.

-Who’s is your father and how can he help. Yu Jin now turned to look with full furious.

-My father, is Lam Tiet, Lam Lao da ye, he worked for Huang cung. I’m sure he can help.

Yu Jin, on hearing the named Lam Tiet, he was shocked, as he never thought Xin Ru is the daughter of Lam Tiet, but before he could say anything. Xin Ru all ready ahead at a far distance. Yu Jin can’t hold back any longer and ran and her.

Chapter 14

-Way, Is anyone out there. Who are you? Why are you attacked me? Xiao Wei cried out as she revised her memory, could this be one of the person that she had stolen from and now taking the revenge on her.

Suddenly a voice answered back, but no sign of the person.

-Xiao Wei Cu niang (Tie^?u Vy Co^ nu*o*ng) I advised you just to stay clam, and wait for the prince to come and rescued you!

-What prince? You such a idiot, a maniac, out of your mind, why on earth be a prince to rescued me. Don’t you know I’m a thief, if any prince see me, he would kill me. You must be mistaken, so let me go…As Xiao Wei still yelling out from the top of her lungs, she want the person to hear her clearly, and she also hoping for anyone could hear her outside as the mouth of the cage is still open.

-Hahahah..the person laugh out loud. Don’t worry I got the right target. I been watching Yu Jin Tai Zi (Hu*~u Vinh Tha’i tu*?) had feeling for you, and he will come to rescued you, and I will have you both…hahahahaha..the voice replied, laughing evilly.

-WHAT? Xiao Wei cried out…Yu Jin, is a Tai Zi? Xiao Wei whispered to herself at the truth hitted her hard, she never realized that she been making friend with a crowned prince.
-Wait, I think you got it wrong, Yu Jin doesn’t like me…he..likes..Xin Ru…Wait what have you done with Xin Ru. Xiao Wei, trying to turn the aiming away of her, but as the mention of Xin Ru, she also remembered that Xin Ru, might be in the same situation as her.
But the voice shouted back angrily.

-SHUT UP, Xin Ru will have nothing to do with it…you stop saying non-sense, I just wanted the prince.

Xiao Wei’s mind was full of questions, about Xin Ru, Yu Jin, and the person. Her mind wondered in confusion, suddenly she heard a familiar voice, as Xiao Peng appeared at the cage.

-Cu Cu (Co^ Co^) he cried, immediately rush to Xiao Wei, to untied for her.

-Xiao Zi (Tie^?u Tu*?) why you? Xiao Wei whispered in shock. But as she was free, and about to make the moved outside. Suddenly a noise occured, Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng both looked to the front of cage, two big stones were moving slowly from aside together to close the mouth of the cage.

As Xiao Peng was still puzzle wondering what to do, he tried to help Xiao Wei out of the cage before it closed. But Xiao Wei had used her martial art powder, and pushed Xiao Peng flew out of the cage, landing on the ground outside.

-This is a trap. Xiao Zi, I can’t get out, you better go, and get help..Go…Xiao Wei yelled as she was a far distance away from the mouth cage. And there not enough time for her to get to the cage, she was too weak to used her kung fu. Her last strength were used to pushed Xiao Peng out.

Xiao Peng looked with fury, his wondering whether he should leave. But seeing Xiao Wei standing alone in the dark. His mind told him not to go. “She need me, I can’t leave her alone!”
But as a cage was closing more and more, Xiao Wei could fell all the stength had been strain out from her body, she dropped herself laid her back to the wall. As Xiao Peng, standing outside with full confusion. His eyes widen with fears as he see Xiao Wei imaged has disappeared. In no time, he quickly jumped in the cage pasted the small gaps, that only just enough for his body to get through, as he landed in the cage, he could hear the stones closed to each other.

Xiao Wei, stared at Xiao Peng in shockness from the other side of the cage. She suddenly fell all her anger arises, as she stumble hard to him, she grabbed on his cloth to pulled him up.

-Xiao Zi, why don’t you listen to me. Why you such stupid, idiot to come back. Xiao Wei yelled out while shaking Xiao Peng violently. I wanted you to go and get help from the other, now you stark in here, who is going to come for us. You promised me, to obeyed and listen to me, why are you not followed my instruction. Xiao Wei felt everything just collapsed on her as, Xiao Peng was her last hope for survival. But he dumped enough to come back.

Xiao Peng, stood still, looking down, he knows why Xiao Wei got mad, and he excepted it. But he had no regret in coming. Suddenly, he felt Xiao Wei body slowly collapsed into his. He quickly put out his arms to catch her, and gently laid her on the ground to wake her up.

-Cu Cu, Cu Cu, what happened to you? Please don’t scare me..

From the moving of her arms, Xiao Wei wound had been expand, as the blood started to pour out, together with the shock, made her to lost her balance, but she still in her conscious staged.

-Get away from me! As She yelled, while push Xiao Peng body away from her…She slowly made her way up, and walked to the other side of the cage.

-Cu Cu, yours injured? Xiao Peng concernedly asked, as he viewed Xiao Wei's wound from her back.

-Shut up! I don’t want to talk to you, never! As the mad and stubborn Xiao Wei replied sharply. She sit herself down the ground in pain, while ripped of the piece of her dress at the bottom to covered the wound.

Xiao Peng watched her in hesitated, he wanted to help, but he know, if he speak or do anything now, it only make things worst.

-Xiao Jie (Tie^?u tho*) you’re back! As one of the maids greeted Xin Ru, before she rushed in her father’s study room, without answering back.

Yu Jin was following behind, as then Xiao dong, grabbed on his sleeve to pull him back.

-Shao ye (Thie^’u gia), don’t go in, this is Lam Tiet da ya’s house (La^m Thie^’t dda.i gia). You better not come in. I noticed him doesn’t have a very good respective to Huang Shan (Hoa`ng Thu*o*.ng).

Both Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, had been quiet for sometimes. As now, both of then slowly curved up their body and started rubbing their hands on their arms.

Xiao Peng, was more than happy to hear Xiao Wei was speaking to him again, he replied.

-It’s getting kind of cold…

-I know, what’s the matter of this cage, it getting colder every minutes…Xiao Wei replied, as she started to looked around to identify the place. It was just the normal cage like all the others, with rock and dried wheat lying around. But somehow the air feel colder and colder.

Xiao Peng then stood up, and walked slowly to seat beside Xiao Wei, not forget to look at her to see if she had any objection. But Xiao Wei, just looked away as if she doesn’t want to comments.

-You thinks, we could get out. Xiao Wei asked, when Xiao Peng sat down a distance apart, but leading on the same wall as her.

-Sure, Why not, I mean you and I am going to live for long life. Xiao Peng relied, trying to be amused.

Xiao Wei forced a smile at him. Since knowing him for a few weeks, this was the first time she thinks him cute. Even know she was mad at him for not run away to get help, but she graceful for him came back out of the concern for her.

Xin Ru turned back to faced Yu Jin in shocked

-What on earth are you talking about? Xin Ru asked…But Yu Jin couldn’t answer, he just keep looking at Lam Tiet for the answer.

-Tai Zi, Chen(tha^`n) does not dare to do it. Lam Tiet stand up to answered in respect. But truly his plan was to kidnap Yu Jin, so he can used the prince to persuade Yu Dang (The emproper) to gave up the throne, to Yu Peng, the real prince. But since he see Yu Jin walked in with Xin Ru, he noticed his plan did not work.

-Tai Zi? You’re the crowned prince. Xin Ru asked Yu Jin again, as her eyes widen from shock. Never in her mind she was aware that he was the crown prince, her husband to be.

-Yes, Yu Jin answered solidly to Xin Ru, and he turned to look hard at Lam Tiet.
I know what you’re are trying to do. But I just had one request. I want to look for someone first, before you took me back to the palace. Yu Jin answered to Lam Tiet.

Lam Tiet looked at the young prince, his eyes wondered, as he looking for whom is the mysterious person.

Yu Jin noticed the curious look on Lam Tiet. He strongly said out.

“Su Yu Peng”, Lam Tiet cried out inside with shocked, as how does the prince know off the secret of 20 years before.

While Xin Ru, all this time had been standing at one place, watching her father, then Yu Jin, and in reversed, how much she wish, she could know a little bit, of what they were going one…But on the other hand, she want to find the moment to jump in, and ask for Xiao Wei one more time.

Chapter 15

-Xiao Zi, how…did you find me? Xiao Wei, thought of if she keep talking, that could create some warmth heat in the body, so she asked in a shaking voice.

-I saw your hair band. Xiao Peng answers, while pulling out one of the beam from his pocket.

Xiao Wei, tried to smiled.

-So, you not as stupid as I thought you were! Xiao Wei tried to joke, as she laid one side of her face on her arms, and turned to looked at Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng, just smiled upon that, usually he would jump up and defend himself. But here now, he hardly can move his body.

-I never said I was stupid, you’re the one who making that up… Xiao Peng, relaxed, blow in to his hand and rubbing them on his legs.

-I wonders…how…is Xin Ru! As Xiao Wei spoke out of the cold.

Xiao Peng looked at her to reassure.

-I thinks she’ll be find, at least Yu Jin was looking for her. If he known that you also been kidnapped, I’m sure he’ll will rather go for you.

-Shut up…what are you saying now…! Xiao Wei yelled at Xiao Peng, even know she had no voice left, as she noticed he was going to tease her.

-Come on, Cu Cu, it’s obvious that Yu Jin Cung Zi liked you…Xiao Peng still couldn't stop fighting back but in a slower paste.

-Well! You’re nuts! Do you know who he is? Xiao Wei looked at Xiao Peng doubtingly.

Xiao Peng shook his head.

-Yu Jin, is the crown prince from the palace, he knows as Yu Jin Tai Zi.

-Ahhh…Xiao Peng, gasped out in shock.

Xiao Peng gave a worry looked at her, since she had been wounded, instead of getting rest, she been locked in a ice cold cage, and could be froze to death. On the thought of that, Xiao Peng moved his body slowly to sit near to Xiao Wei. Once she was in his reach, Xiao Peng shakingly took off his first coat layer, and wrapped it around Xiao Wei’s body.
Xiao Wei, stopped still for awhile, she looked up to met with Xiao Peng soft eyes, telling her to take the coat. She turned away, smiling shyly and pulled the coat closer to her body.

By that, Mr Lam Tiet had realized the situation, so he quickly took the to concerning Yu Jin and Xin Ru to find Xin Tan, to release Xiao Wei.

As the two of them being talking non-stop of anything they can think off, hopping in doing that, it’s would help the heat in the body up a little.

As Xiao Peng, had just finished telling his childhood spent in the house with his nanny, and how he escaped and came to Han Zhu.

-So where is he now? Xiao Peng continued.

-He’s still in my hometown. I thought I’ll could build a better life in Han Zhu…But finally I have to died in this stupid frozen cage… Xiao Wei tiredly said she laid her head back in the wall. Struggle to stay conscious.

-What are you saying, we’ll not going to died here, ….Cu ..Cu…are you alright? Cu Cu. Xiao Peng got shocked when noticed Xiao Wei, had closed her eyes. In fear, he lead over and pulled her in to his embrace, hoping that could make she feel warmer…

-Cu Cu, don’t worry, we’ll be fine, don’t give up, I’m with you, do you feel better! Xiao Peng softly whispered his support beside Xiao Wei’s ear.

Xiao Wei, still awake, but she was too tried to open her eyes or speak. Hearing Xiao Peng’s words, she just nodded weakly, and ducked her body deeper in to his arm. Laid her head on his warm chest. She suddenly though of if Xiao Peng was not here with her now, there no way she could made it.

Xiao Peng keep his arms tighten around Xiao Wei, lifeless body. He looked down at her pale faced. He was surprised, the bully, hyperactive Xiao Wei, turned out to be a normal weak girl after all, as she was now lying quietly in his arms. Suddenly a strange feeling aroused with in him, the warmest heat he had never felt.

Suddenly a light hit his eyes, as he put up a hand to cover from the brightness. He then slowly looked out the cage, while still holding on to Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei, are you in there… Xiao Peng could hear Xin Ru’s voice calling from outside. He smiled in relief, and started to lay Xiao Wei.

-Cu Cu, we’re saved..he turned to looked at the open cage and yelled out. We’re in here…Hey..

By recognized Xiao Peng’s voice. Every body, including Yu Jin, Xin Ru, Xiao Dong, Ming Tai, Lam Tiet and Xin Tan, all rushed in the cage. Xin Ru and Yu Jin were shocked of the view seeing Xiao Wei, lying motionless in Xiao Peng arms. They both ran to the end of the cage, as Yu Jin quickly grab Xiao Wei from Xiao Peng arms and carried her outside. Xiao Peng looked on coldly as Yu Jin had took Xiao Wei away from him, but then Xin Ru came toward to help Xiao Peng up, and walked with him outside. All of them made the way the two house carriages been waiting outside, and went back to Lam’s resident.

A few days after. At Lam Tiet’s study room.

-Tai Zi, Chen just received news that Yu Peng and his nanny are living in Tai hua. A small town from the North side of Han Zhu. Chen is planning to organize a ground of people to looked for them. Lam Tiet politely report the news to Yu Jin, as Xin Ru standing beside to listen.

-Don’t worries, if Lam da ye trust me, I’ll go by myself, I promised to protect and bring the real prince back. Yu Jin stood up to volunteer as it was had been his aiming to be able to looked for Yu Peng.

-Ofcouse, Chen had to doubt in you. But letting Tai Zi go by yourself. Lam Tiet looked away, trying to find a better solution. Suddenly then, Xin Ru jumped in.

-Ah-ma, why not let me go with Yu Jin, I mean Tai Zi…

-Please, Xin Ru, called me Yu Jin, I’m not a Tai Zi. And Lam Tiet Xin Ru cu niang is welcome to join with me…Yu Jin, also find it’s a good idea.

-Hao la, hao la (to^’t qu’a). Hey, how about we asked Xiao Wei, and Xiao Peng to come with us. Xin Ru jumped out with joy.

Yu Jin soon joined in the happy feeling, when he notice Xiao Wei could joined the trip as well.
Lam Tiet da ye, watched helplessly, as there will be no way to object now..

-No, Xiao Wei..as Ming ge ge gave an assuring patch on Xiao Wei shoulder…You’ll always be the Xiao Cu Niang (Tie^?u co^ niang) of Han Zhu gang.” End of flash back.

Xiao Wei frowned in glared. “What am I going to do from now on?” As she muttered to herself. Suddenly a shadow of a person appeared standing next to Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei Cu Niang, ni hao ma? (Co^ co’ khoe? kho^ng). As Xiao Wei looked up to meet Xin Tan smiling charmingly at her.

She took her elbows off the table and sat up, forcing a smile to Xin Tan.

-Xie Xie cung zi (ca?m o*n co^ng tu*?) for your concern, I’m very fine. As Xiao Wei trying her best to copy the proper greeting rule, that why she hated to talk with formal people, as everything got to much complicated.

-I’m so story for mistaken, injured you and locked you up in the cage. Xin Tan repeated his apology for the hundreds time with Xiao Wei since she got carry in the Lam resident, and rested here for her wound to recovered.

To Xin Tan, since knowing he had done harmed to an innocent person. He started to fell story, and also could not resist falling for Xiao Wei’s friendly personality.

-Xin Tan cung zi, please I known it was an accident. I don’t blame you, so don’t be sorry. Xiao Wei also gotten very tired of listen to the guy saying sorry, as he been nagging on about the same thing every time he saw her.

While Xin Tan, was struggle with his shyness to find a topic to talk with Xiao Wei, and while Xiao Wei about to excuse for leave. Suddenly they heard the sound of someone playing the flute. Both of them turned to the sound, and watched Xiao Peng, standing at the other side, blowing the soft music tone out of his flute. When the song completed, Xiao Peng looked over to Xin Tan and Xiao Wei, to greet.

-Xin Tan cung zi, Cu Cu!

Xin Tan got a little embarrassed by the show up of the third person, he quickly excused to leave, while Xiao Wei watched him and grinned upon his shyness.

After Xin Tan left, Xiao Peng made his way to met Xiao Wei at the shelter. As he approached closer to her hearing distance. He frowned, and ticked his tongue..

-Tick Tick…One Yu Jin, which you haven’t finished yet, now appear a Xin Tan. As Xiao Peng was speaking out of his jealousy, but trying to framed it was a tease to Xiao Wei.

But as both of them are all very healthy, the weather so nice that it booted up their energy to rebutted.

Xiao Wei had gone fully recovered back to her hyperactive speed, as she spin fast to Xiao Peng and quickly grab with flute from his hand, and twisted it, to placed it under Xiao Peng chin, as she faced closer to him.

-Xiao Zi, I’m warning you now. If you let out a single word about what went on inside that cage. I will chop you up in pieces. You will die in the most terrified way that no one had ever experience. Got it.!! Xiao Wei grounded her teeth together, as she strongly made her pointed.

Xiao Peng could fell the flute pushed hard against his throat as he almost skips a breath. Frightenly, he replied.

-Shir (Da.), Cu Cu, ni fan xin la (Co^ co^ an ta^m ddi), I swear I will not tell anyone. As Xiao Peng quickly put up three fingers.

Xiao Wei was pleased with the respond, so she left him go. Xiao Peng relived to catch back his breath. While Xiao Wei beaming joyfully.

But then, Xin Ru and Yu Jin appeared to join in the fun.

-Hey! What are you guys doing that looked so fun. Said Xin Ru as she dashed to where Xiao Wei was standing, not forgetting to give Xiao Peng a warming look, which he quickly tried not to noticed.

-Oh, nothing, I was just teaching my pupil here a few lesson. Xiao Wei replied while glancing back at Xiao Peng, who gave her a faked smile.

Yu Jin stepped closer standing beside Xiao Wei, softly asked.

-Xiao Wei cu niang, ni hao ma?

-Huh? I wonder why you and Xin Tan cung zi asked Cu cu the same question every time you two see her. Xiao Peng spoke out from his jealousy raising. Since the day from the cage, some how suddenly he began to feel very uncomfortable when other men trying to get close to Xiao Wei.

Yu Jin upon hearing Xiao Peng teased, looked away hesitantly. Xin Ru quickly jumped in to carry on the conversation.

-Xiao Wei, Xiao Peng, we come to ask you weather you wanted to join with us?

-For what? Xiao Wei asked excitedly.

-Are we going somewhere? Xiao Peng followed.

Xin Ru gathered everyone together and spoke out.

-Yu Jin cung zi and I are going on a mission to find someone, we just wonder is you guys like to come.

-Hao la, since I don’t have anything to do. Xiao Wei nodded, as she no longer had to stay in one place.

-If cu cu going, I have to go. Xiao Peng once again support with Xiao Wei. And everyone agreed that they would set of the next day.

As planned the next day Lam da ye and Xin Tan said fare well to the group. Xin Tan also wanted to join in, but he had to stay back with his father.

During the trip, Yu Jin couldn’t stop showing his cares for Xiao Wei, while Xiao Peng was watching it closely, and Xiao Wei was pretending to be innocent and not notice, as she will never let her and Yu Jin to work out. Another person was also in a lot of emotional stage, was Xin Ru, trying to catch Xiao Peng’s attention, but it’s seem like he never aware of her, as he was to busy preventing Yu Jin from getting too close to Xiao Wei.

On the third day of the journey, while walking pasted the forest, Xiao Peng finally asked for the place where they were going.
- So, where exactly are we going? And who are we looking for?

Xin Ru cheerfully replied to Xiao Peng’s question as it give her a chance to talk to him.

-We’re going to Tai Hua…Suddenly Xiao Peng jumped out with fright.

-Tai Hua. He cried, on realizing it was his hometown. He suddenly paused, and thinks.

The other three, stopped as well, in wondering why did Xiao Peng paused.

-Eh! Xiao Zi, what are you doing? Xiao Wei came over to give him a slight slap on his shoulder.

Xiao Peng, awaked with an idea, as he pulled Xiao Wei over.

-Cu Cu, I heard that on Southern Han Zhu, there a town with full of crimes and robber, do you want to come there and have a look? As Xiao Peng wanting to gets away from the trip that going to Tai Hua, but he didn’t want to leave Xiao Wei with Yu Jin.

Xiao Wei, turned to have an interested look. Just when Yu Jin and Xin Ru worriedly ran over.

-Hey! Xiao Peng, we’re going to Tai Hua, its on the northern side, so how can we stopped in the South side to fight crime. Xiao Wei, you’re still coming with me, aren’t you. As Yu Jin was about to reach out to grabbed Xiao Wei hand, but she quickly pulled her hand away, confusingly on what to say. But thinking of Yu Jin keep nagging her all the way. She quickly turned to Xiao Peng.

-Do you sure, you know where to go? Xiao Peng nodded positively.

-Hao la, Xiao Wei smiled with relief, as she turned over to Yu Jin and Xin Ru, standing concernedly. Uh, Yu Jin, Xin Ru, and think the two of you will be all right going to Tai Hua right. Shi-fu had told me, to go and do good deed, so Xiao Peng and I will go to the town to help fight the crime. Okay? Xiao Wei looking pleadingly as the both of them.

Suddenly Yu Jin, came forward and grabbed Xiao Wei’s hand, pulling her aside with him.

-Xiao Wei, I got something to tell you! Xiao Wei unwillingly walked with Yu Jin, while glancing back at Xiao Peng, who was about to run after, when Xin Ru held him back.

Chapter 17

-Xiao Wei, can you come with me? As he began.

-Why? Xin Ru can go with you? As Xiao Wei reluctantly answered, with her innocent eyes opened wide.

-Then, if you don’t go, can you keep this? Yu Jin grabbed out from his inner pocket, a beautiful crafted limestone pendant. It’s have the design of a dragon on it…This is a promise of my feeling for you is true..and you will wait for me..

Xiao Wei hesitantly pulled her hands away from his grab, as thing was getting too much. She stepped back, away from him. Looking down at the pendant on his hand, and looked at his begging glance. She needed to set the story straight.

-Yu Jin cung zi, xie xie for the feeling you had for me. But I don’t want to keep you waiting, because I only see you as a brother, like Ming ge ge. So I can’t take this wonderful present, I don’t deserved.

Yu Jin, took a step back himself after hearing the rejection from Xiao Wei. It came like a thunder shock in a sunny day.

Meanwhile, Xiao Peng was waiting anxiously, for the return of Xiao Wei and Yu Jin. He kept walking around, looked up and down to see if they were coming back. Xin Ru been sitting on a big tree near by, got tired of looking at Xiao Peng moving around so constantly.

-Xiao Peng, can you sit down. I’m getting dizzy here, from looking at you? Xin Ru complained.

-Then don’t look at me! Xiao Peng replied coldly. But Xin Ru got up, and grabbed him to stand still.

-Ai yah, why do you have to worry so much. Yu Jin only took Xiao Wei out to confess his feeling.

-What feeling? Xiao Peng cut in, felt his temper raising up.

-The feeling that he had for Xiao Wei..Xin Ru replied unnoticed of Xiao Peng red face. And she continue with her imagination. Wouldn’t it be good if Xiao Wei and Yu Jin…

-There no way…Cu Cu doesn’t like Yu Jin. Xiao Peng cut in again immediately as he just wish for Xin Ru to stop her daydream.

Xiao Peng gave Xiao Wei a cheeky smile, before held up a wooden craft pendant in front of her.

-Looked, I got a present for you! He exclaimed

The little thing attracted Xiao Wei attention, as she turned and held the pendant, which were carefully crafted with a face of a rose, there was also a string went through the pendant, which can be wear as a neglect.
-You had been making this! As Xiao Wei turned to look at Xiao Peng, feeling the hearts pounding faster.

Xiao Peng, nodded, as he grabbed the pendant, and gently tied the string around Xiao Wei’s neck. It sure made a great neglect.

-Do you liked it? Xiao Peng asked, as he watching her beauty glowing under the moonlight.

Xiao Wei nodded back, as she looked down to the pendant, from now on that will be the most treasure thing to her.

-I never known you can do craft? Xiao Wei said, when Xiao Peng sat down facing her.

-I only knew a little, but I did it for you! Xiao Peng, relied, as his loved for Xiao Wei one more time raising higher in himself, as he was going to review his feeling.

Xiao Wei, noticed Xiao Peng loving stared at her, she blushed and shyly stood up and ran in to the caved. Xiao Peng quickly followed after, as he chased up to her and grabbed her hand.

-Cu cu, I got something to say? As Xiao Peng swing Xiao Wei back to faced him.

Xiao Wei for the first time felt extremely embarrassed standing in front of Xiao Peng, she kept looking down, but deep in her heart, she’s really wanted to hear what he was wanting to say.

On seeing Xiao Wei quite. Xiao Peng decided to continue.

Xiao Wei got a happy shocked, but she pretend to deny it. She turned away and replied in her normal, cheeky tone.

And from that he bend down and gave her the first kissed. At the moment their lips touched, they felt their heart stopped beating, everything just gone quite, the rest of the world was far behind, at they reached the most wonderful place, to be with each other. As the two was drawn deeply into their first kiss, so passionate that they will never forget it.

The kissed slowly ended, as Xiao Peng looked for Xiao Wei answered.

Finally their feeling had been reviewed to each other, for the whole night they sat together outside the cave and just enjoy that beautiful sky view, as this will be one of the most memorable night of their life.

By now Xiao Wei was able to stop her laughter, as she got ready when Xiao Peng was coming over.

-What? She replied cheekily, still lying on the grass-bed, while Xiao Peng sat beside her…You can’t do anything with me? She giggled..

But not for long, when the dark man over grab the knife and kicked him away. Xiao Peng went stumbling down to the ground, and was still puzzled when the man came flying on top, as he was ready to stabbed Xiao Peng with his own dragger.

Xiao Wei on seeing Xiao Peng was in danger, she quickly finished off the man which was fighting with her by giving him a great kicked. And spin herself over to attack the other man, who was about to kill Xiao Peng.

From Xiao Wei hard kick, the other black man came flying away from Xiao Peng and landing next to his partner. But they quickly got up, and were about to combine to fight off Xiao Wei.

Xiao Wei, went over to pulled Xiao Peng up…as then she turned around to the two men, quickly picked out three small black pills and threw it right at the men’s feet. When the pills hit the ground “Bumb” It explored, creating a thick layer of smoke.

-Come on…chou la…As Xiao Wei pushed Xiao Peng to run for their escaped.

Thanks to the escaping run they finally arrived back in Han Zhu.

Xiao Peng, frowned, pushed himself to believed Xiao Wei was right. But suddenly, he felt a hard slapped on his shoulder. He looked up at Xiao Wei and about to complain for the pain. But just like normal, she also got her ways before he could.

-Speaking about the dragger! How bad are you really? Can’t even hold tied to your weapon, so how can you protect yourself..She shook her head at him, disapprovingly.

-In that case, why don’t you teach me more..Just a few hours each day, in a short time, how can I improve. Xiao Peng fought back, as his worried drifted away.

-So how long, will it take you to improve. Xiao Wei turned around, began to question him. Her face turned in to red rose. “She looked so cute, when she gone mad!” Xiao Peng thought.

By that, he quickly looked around, when no one was watching, he stepped closer to her, and grabbed her hands.

-Why don’t you show me for the rest of my life? He whispered, and bent his forehead to hit her forehead, they both were giggling together. Suddenly a familiar voice called out for them.

-Xiao Wei, Xiao Peng. Xin Ru was waving from the other side of the street… as when she sure they were her friend. She pulled Yu Jin, to crossed the road.

Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, looked up in shock, while their hands were still holding on each other. But when Xiao Wei carefully took another hard look and recognized it was Xin Ru, running toward her, she quickly pulled her hands away from Xiao Peng, blushing.

-Xiao Peng, Xiao Wei. We found you guys…Yu Jin broke out his happiness.

As Xiao Peng and Xiao Wei, glanced at each other in wonder. Yu Jin used to be very clam, and he never expressed his emotion. But today was different.

-Why? Are you guys, looking for us. Xiao Peng asked back, hopping he could find out some new exciting stories.

-Shir…We been looking for you Xiao shao ye (Tie^?u Thie^’u gia) Xin Ru stepped forward to stand beside Yu Jin, as she looked to Xiao Peng, half joked and half serious…But then she broke out into laughter, as she came over to grabbed on Xiao Wei’s arm…Come on, let go home. Ah-ma had been expecting us.

By that, the four of them turned back to one way, going to the Lam’s resident.

Chapter 20

-Xiao Dong, how have you been! Yu Jin also glads to meet his old servant, which more like a friend who followed him from the palace to the normal world. Only in the trip to Tai Hua, for safety reason Xiao Dong had to stayed back, since he lack of martial art skill.

Another servant of the Lam also came out to greet Xin Ru, and not long later Xin Tan appeared, as his face brighten up with the smile, upon seeing Xiao Wei came back.

-Xiao Wei cu niang, I’m so glad you all made it back! As Xin Tan looked deep into Xiao Wei eye, he stepping forward to stand closer to her. But Xiao Peng, was quicker, one seeing the danger zone between him and Xin Tan, he stepped ahead, standing beside Xiao Wei, and proudly held on to her hand, showing off his victory to Xin Tan, as he already took the big prize.

Xiao Wei, gave Xiao Peng, a funny look, she didn’t know he was that jealous as a happy pleased feeling arouse in her on seeing him took action so quick. But by that thought she turned over to Xin Tan, with a puzzled looked, wondering where to started.

Xin Tan, was an intelligent man, seeing the closeness between Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, he sure had guessed what were going on between them, so he quickly withdrawal himself.

-Ge Ge, how are you, we got some news for ah-ma. Xin Ru cut in the tension paced and came over to get Xin Tan attention.

-Oh, really? Is it about the prince? Xin Tan asked back.

-Surely is, I think we found him. As Yu Jin whispered to Xin Tan but glancing over at Xiao Peng.

-Hao la, let’s go in, ah-ma is in the study room. Then Xin Tan lead the way for the rest of the group to followed.

Xiao Wei as walking behind with Xiao Peng, held on to his hand. Just then Xiao Peng turned to her and whispered.

-Who do you think, they’re talking about? As he was lost from the whole story. But Xiao Wei was not much different, as she replied shortly.

-A prince, I think! And they walked off into the study to met Lam da lao ye.

Once everybody reunited in the study room, Yu Jin and Xin Ru, took turned to retell the story they heard, once they reached Tai Hua. The nanny had been killed, the house was burned and the prince gone missing. But they think they know who is the real prince.

-So who, do you think is Yu Peng, the prince. Lam da ye asked worriedly, to him, if they haven’t find the prince, there could be a great chance that Yu Dang had came first.

But Yu Jin, confidently nodded in replied, as he turned and walked to Xiao Peng.

-Xiao Peng, is Tai Hua your home town. Yu Jin began the interview.

-Yes..Xiao Peng replied feeling something strange was going on.

-Did you live with an old nanny before..Xin Ru joined in to help Yu Jin.

-Yes, As Xiao Peng gave both Xin Ru and Yu Jin, a weird look, once seeing they were smiling to his answered.

Suddenly then, Lam Tiet remembered of something, as he walked over to Xiao Peng, took a careful look at the young charming face, then he asked.

-Do you have the dragger.!

-What dragger? Yu Jin and Xin Ru turned to Lam Tiet in surprised.

-You meant the golden dragger, with carving of a dragon one it! Wei Wei spoke out as if she was awaking from a long dream.

-Yes, how do you know? Lam Tiet replied happily to Xiao Wei, as he sensed that the truth was about to review.

-Xiao Zi, had one of the dragger like that. Xiao Wei replied in puzzled pointing at Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng, looked around at everyone, who were all staring at him.

-But I lost the dragger. We got into a fight and the man attacked me took it away! But what is going on? As Xiao Peng so urged to find out what the people was talking about, it’s surely involved him.

-The dragger is lost. That must be Huang ah ma’s men! Yu Jin humbled out, as Xin Ru took his hand for support.

-Chen, Lam tiet, greeted you our crown prince. As Lam Tiet, finally realized Xiao Peng was Yu Peng the prince, he bowed down as a traditional greeting custom. By that Xin Ru, Xin Tan and Yu Jin, also followed, they bowed for Xiao Peng.

The only two people was standing still and in major confusion as Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, as they exchange frustrated glances.

-What are you people doing? I’m not the prince! As Xiao Peng waved for them all to stand up!

Lam Tiet, then slowly explained his true identity.

Yu Jin, stood up, with the rest, he walked slowly to Xiao Peng, and patched on his shoulder.

-My father is Han Yu Dang, when I found out he betrayed the Emperor, my uncle so he can took away the crown. I quickly left the palace, to look for the real prince, hoping to help him take back the crown, so I won’t fell guilty upon what my father had done. And now I found you. Xiao Peng. I am just a pretended prince. But you are the real one…

Yu Jin and Lam Tiet shocked Xiao Peng completely, as in is wildest dream, he would never imagine himself as a real prince. But now turning out, he was belonging to the Emperor family, and was the crowned prince.

But Xiao Peng was not alone. Xiao Wei been standing behind to listen to the whole story, as her eyes grew wider with shock, surprised, frustration, confusion…..

-Humh!! You’re such an unused, how can you let Yu Peng got away! As Yu Dang stamped hard his fist on the table, once the black men had report the failure to murder the lost prince.

-Hoi, Huang Shan! As the black man, begged for forgiveness. I knew I was not careful enough. That young girl who went with him was more powerful then I thought. But..if she not use…

-But what, I sent you a simple task, and you can’t even complete. Yu Dang shouted back, angrily as all his planning just ended up into nothing.

-Huang Shan, I managed to get this from Yu Peng, I thought it looked unusual. As the man, pull out Xiao Peng’s dragger. Yu Dang immediately reacted to the weapon, as he quickly grabbed it from the man.

-The golden dragger! He murmured. “So, he is the real prince. But without his dragger, there won’t be any prove” Yu Dang thought to himself, as he having a little relief.

Soon, he dismissed the black man, telling him not to worry about the murder, he had the dragger, that means he was holding the lead.

Everybody began to settle down from the lost prince story. As Xiao Wei was with Xin Ru’s in her bedroom. It’s been a long time since the two of them had any private conversation.

-Xiao Wei, I can’t believed you and Xiao Peng..! Xin Ru cried out cheerfully.

-Yeah, I can’t believe you and Yu Jin! Xiao Wei replied frowning to herself.

Xin Ru noticed to sad look on Xiao Wei’s face, she wondering asked.

-What’s wrong, why are you not happy!

-I’m so stupid, as Xiao Wei, laid her elbows on the table to support her face…she continued in depression. I tried to get away from a fake prince, by falling in love with a real one.

-What’s wrong with it? Xin Ru asked back, innocently as she see to bad sign for Xiao Wei to love Xiao Peng.

-What’s wrong, he’s a prince…Xiao Wei began to pour out her concern. He lived in the palace! And I can’t…

-Of Course you can, you can do anything with each other. Xin Ru comforted Xiao Wei, as she finally understands what was upsetting Xiao Wei.

-No..Can’t you see. I’m a thief, I lived outside the court, and disobeyed to the rules. If I come to the palace, I’ll be like a bird locked in a cage, a prison locked in the cell and I can’t take that. As Xiao Wei tried to explain clearer of what she was worried about.

-But you came to the palace before, it’s not that bad right! Xin Ru asked back uncertain was it a good question or a bad one.

-Because I came to the palace, that why I know it’s not the place I wanted to be. If I wanted that kind of luxury life, I would have easily stayed back in the palace, until now…Xiao Wei looked at Xin Ru helplessly, as she desperately need some advise.

-Xiao Wei, listen to me, don’t be hard on yourself, if he loved you, he will worked out the best solution with you! Take times to think it! Xin Ru gave out the only advise she could think of, cause in her mind, she was confused of how Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng going to work it out.

Xiao Wei frowned, as she looked over Xin Ru, for a thanking smile.

-You’re right, I need time to think…Just then a thought strike through, as Xiao Wei looked up at Xin Ru and asked. What are the guys doing?

-Oh, they with ah-ma, working out how to take back the dragger, cause it the only prove to show to the court. But ah-ma found out that the dragger is hidden in Yu Dang’s study room.

-Oh…Why don’t we come and help…By not waiting for Xin Ru to agreed, Xiao Wei quickly stood up and ran over to the study, with Xin Ru followed after.

In the study room, everybody were in a lot of intention, trying to work out the best, and quick way to retain the dragger to Xiao Peng.

-We need some one to take the dragger out from the palace, and we need to do it was soon as possible, before Yu Dang will destroyed to last evidence. Xin Tan, suggested. Suddenly the door flung opened, as Xiao Wei, stepped in with her own suggestion.

-I’ll will to go the palace, and get the dragger, I’ll go tonight.

Everybody was shocked, when they heard Xiao Wei’s advised. As Xiao Peng, ran to grabbed her hand, looking at her, and shook his head repeatedly.

-No, you’re not going! It’s too danger!..I’m not letting you go…Xiao Peng refused.

-If I don’t go then who will. Xiao Wei relied confidently looking into his eyes to reassured… I been in the palace before, so I known my ways around. I’m a thief so my quick skills will help me to escaped from the guard..Xiao Wei put out her argument, to persuade to everybody that she can do it.

Lam Tiet, looked carefully at Xiao Wei, he soon agreed that she was the most capable person to do the job. Followed his nodded, Xin Tan, and Yu Jin also agreed.

-I think Xiao Wei cu niang is right! So we have to count on you! Lam Tiet wished luck to Xiao Wei, as she nodded in replied.

But Xiao Peng was still unsure, he pulled hard on Xiao Wei’s arm not wanting to let her go.

-I’ll come with you. He advised, but Xiao Wei, quickly cut him off.

-No, I’ll be safer by myself, I can’t do the job properly if you’re with me. Don’t worry I promised, the latest is drawn, tomorrow. I’ll be back.

By that Xiao Wei gave the last comforting squeaked on Xiao Peng’s hand. As he had no choice but to reluctantly let her hand go. Everybody else, greet good lucky to Xiao Wei, as she prepared herself and headed for the palace, with Xiao Peng looking upon worriedly.

Chapter 21

-Xiao Peng, please relax, Xiao Wei will be fine! As Xin Ru tried her best for the hundredth times to clam down the anxious Xiao Peng.

-How can I relax, it’s been so long, what if something happed to her? Xiao Peng relied reluctantly, while pushing Xin Ru away, so he could get to the door.

Yu Jin, hesitantly stood up, to took over for Xin Ru.

-Xiao Peng, as he came over to gave Xiao Peng a patch on the shoulder, whom was searching his eyes outside hoping for Xiao Wei to return. He turned and looked at Yu Jin, at the point of the tap….Xiao Peng, it’s only pasted midnight, don’t worry I have a strong feeling…then Yu Jin voice faded out, as his eyes widen, on a shadow just jumped in from outside…He brighten up and turned Xiao Peng around toward the shadow….I told you she’ll be back.

As Xiao Peng, couldn’t believed his eyes, its was Xiao Wei, standing outside smiling proudly at him as her hand held on to the golden dragger. With no hesitation, he ran out, and gave her the most tightest embrace, to show how relief he was, seeing she was safe.

Xiao Wei, also put out her hand, for return to his hugged, as she just came passed the most difficult time, to get home quickly to see him. But Xiao Wei, soon realized that they were not alone, as she broke out of the embrace, blushing at the people watching them from inside the room.

-Xiao Zi, people are watching us! As she whispered to remind Xiao Peng, and pulled him inside the room.

Xiao Peng was reluctant to come in, since he had so much that he wanted to say, but he never can fight back with Xiao Wei.

Lam da lao ye, came out to greet Xiao Wei, as she handed to him the dragger.

-Xiao Wei cu niang, I really admired you, this is really the dragger! As he proudly showed off to Xin Tan, Xin Ru and Yu Jin, who were all curious on how good the dragger, look.

-Wow, Xiao Wei, how did you managed to get it…Xin Tan asked, while his eyes still attached to the thing.

-Oh..It’s a long story why don’t you guys go and rest, as you all have a big day tomorrow. Xiao Wei replied, as she wanted to create sometime alone with Xiao Peng

Everybody agreed and began to take their leave to rest. As Yu Jin and Xin Ru came over to gave back Xiao Peng his dragger, and they walked off.

-Xiao Zi, are you tired? Xiao Wei asked grabbing on Xiao Peng’s hand, when every one had gone out.

-No, I’m not tired, but you must be…Xiao Peng replied, looking with full sympathy as she just risked her life to scarified his need.

-No, I’m not. If you don’t want to sleep, then come with me. Xiao Wei replied quickly as she made her move out the door, pulling Xiao Peng with her, who curiously asked.

-Where are we going?

-To my temple. She replied, and both used their martial art to flu out of the Lam’s resident, heading to Xiao Wei home, the old temple.

When they reached the place, Xiao Wei quickly took Xiao Peng to the back of the house, where the river was still floating peacefully. The two sat down on a big stone under the full moon light.

-Xiao Zi, can you play your flute? Asked Xiao Wei, as she deeply wanted to hear his flute.
Xiao Peng, gave a lovely looked at Xiao Wei, before nodded. He was willing to do anything for her, so playing the flute was nothing.

Then, Xiao Wei, turned to sit back to back with Xiao Peng, as he put up the flute and began to blow out the soft tune, in the middle of the night.

Xiao Wei, let her mind drifted off to the music, as she slowly turned to her side, laid her cheek on his back shoulder, while her hand hugging from his neck. When Xiao Peng finished the first song, she asked

-Xiao Zi, are you excited about tomorrow!

Xiao Peng frowned with deep thought, since all night Lam da ye had been planning out, what procedure to follow on tomorrow, when Xiao Wei returned the dragger. But during that moment, Xiao Peng was just thinking of Xiao Wei, as he could not recalled anything. And now he turned puzzled with Xiao Wei’s question.

-I don’t know, I haven’t been listen to anyone after you gone.!! He relied, while grabbed at her hand, which lay around in front of his chest.

-Are you willing to go back, and become the new Emperor? Xiao Wei continued her questions, as she been making a whole list of them.

Xiao Peng paused, he pushed his eyes to the back, glancing at Xiao Wei, who still lying still on his back shoulder.

-Why are you asking me this? Do you not happy to go back to the palace with me? He asked concernedly, trying to find out with was she thinking, since it turned out Yu Jin just a fake prince, and he was the real one.

But Xiao Wei stayed quite, she shook her head on Xiao Peng’s back, objecting to his thought, as Xiao Peng continued.

-If, you’re not happy, please tell me, I would leave everything, just to do with you. He said to reassure her, of the true love from his heart.

Xiao Wei, grinned a soft smile, to Xiao Peng replied, as she pulled her hand closer to enclosed her embrace, and pressed her faced harder on his back shoulder.

-Only your words just then, That’s all I wanted to hear…As she whispered from his back…Xiao Zi, keep playing your flute don’t stop…

With Xiao Wei’s request Xiao Peng began blow another song on his flute, while Xiao Wei, closed her eye tightly to retain her concentration, while still leading on him.

As the song stopped, Xiao Peng softly grabbed Xiao Wei’s hands from the front.

-From tomorrow, we can be together, like this forever. I’ll be the Emperor, you’re be the Empress. As Xiao Peng imagined of the full picture in his mind, that brought a big smile on his face. Seeing Xiao Wei gone quite, he moved on the another song.

At the back, Xiao Wei, opened her eyes, and quickly pull one of her hand back, to catch the tears about to roll out. That was the first time she cried, since she didn’t remembered how long. As she settle herself quietly not to let Xiao Peng noticed, she put back her arms, to give in the embrace.

“Xiao Peng, Xiao Peng. You can be the Emperor. But I won’t be the Empress.” Xiao Wei cried out inside of her. But then she decided to push everything back, so she could enjoyed the whole night with him, which could be the last night with him.

On the morning come. Lam Tiet took the lead in taking everyone back in the palace, in the middle of the courtroom, he would pointed out Yu Dang. As all the magistrates of the court mostly were still loyal to Yu Xuang, the pasted Emperor. They only obeyed Yu Dang, since they thought he was just taking over the tasked, until they found the lost prince.

So when Lam Tiet, shown Xiao Peng as the lost prince, with the golden dragger as his proved. Everybody immediately greet Xiao Peng as “Huang Shan”.

While Yu Dang, turned over mad inside on the sight that the dragger had been stolen. At the same time, Yu Jin also stepped out, to review his father’s planned, but he greeted Xiao Peng for forgiveness and the bear his father to be alive.

Everything was over, and the next day morning, Xiao Peng, or Yu Peng, will officially be crowned as the new Emperor. But Xiao Peng didn’t pay much attention on to that, as he had to look for Xiao Wei.

-Xin Ru, has you seen Cu Cu, anywhere! I haven’t seen her since we’re in the court! As Xiao Peng chased after Xin Ru, to asked for Xiao Wei, while she was walking with Yu Jin.

-Xiao Peng, Xiao Wei…umpp…As the muttered with frustration, on how can she put the news as. That Xiao Wei had left and never returns.

Chapter 22

On her hand, was a familiar object. It was Xiao Peng flute, the only thing she stole from him, before she left, wanting to keep it as a memory, a beautiful memory with a sad ending. That was his flute, and in front of her chest was his pendant, and that’s all she had left of him.

“Xiao Wei ah, Xiao Wei. You have to be strong! For sure you can’t stay back in the palace. You will never be qualified an Empress, you never deserved to be with a prince. And he is the crowned prince. It’s better of, like this, then regret it later.” Xiao Wei frowned in her mind, trying to bring courage in to herself.

She turned the small flute around in her hand, looking at it, Suddenly flashed backs of the time together slowly, one by one, returned in her heart….

(Flash back, the first time they met, after robbing a wealthy man)
** Xiao Wei, made a quick run, but she then slow down, when sensed someone was following her, she spun herself around in a quick action, and jump up to give the follower a great kicked. Lucky at the last minute Xiao Peng, managed to lower his body to escaped from the kick, but his body was all shaky, as he never see anyone make a move that quick before.

-Hey, Xiao Zi, why are you following me! Asked Xiao Wei, After landing back to the ground.

Xiao Peng, who still in a shaky condition, but still managed to collect himself, stood up as he would affair of nothing.

-I’m asking for justice. Why did you rob that poor man! Said Xiao Peng, bravely.

-Hahahaha. You’re asking for justice in Han Zhu, Gosh you must be new here! Xiao Wei gave a great laugh, and gave a quick search on Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng was a bit embarrassed, well, she is kind of right, cause he only been in Han Zhu for a day. But still he was not giving up.

-What ever! You stolen the goods from that old man, I will take it back for him! As Xiao Peng stood up, in a ready position.

Xiao Wei, gave a quick stare at him from top to bottom, and laugh out.

-Hah, Xiao Zi you’re trying to be a hero with me. Now I definitely sure that you’re new in town! Haven’t you heard of the little thief from Han Zhu, That me Xiao Wei. No one can take anything from my hands. Want to try? Come on in.!****

(The second time, after robbing the magistrate’s wife)
**Xiao Wei kept making her way back home. Running through the forest with her highly trained kung fu. But then she got distracted, with a man spin on top of her head and landed in front of her.

-Um! Xiao Zi, why are you always appear when I’m working. Xiao Wei cried out loud when recognizing the same man had stopped her yesterday.

-Working, you call that working…hahahaha…Xiao jie (Tieu thu), haven’t you learn to distinguish between proper working then stealing other people works. Xiao Peng, said confidently, crossing his arm in his chest.

-Xiao Zi, you surely haven’t learn your lesson, well let me show you more today! Xiao Wei was about to jump to Xiao Peng, and start the fight. But Xiao Peng took a step back, so she stopped also.

-Hey, good guys don’t play dirty trick, like using that sleeping powder! Exclaimed Xiao Peng, as he still aware of the fight yesterday.

-Well, strange, I’m a thief, not a good guy, so why should I bother. But to be fair with silly Xiao Zi like you. I’ll fight bare hand. Xiao Wei gave a betting glance on Xiao Peng. As usually she fly off the started the fight.

After a few, spinning, kicking, and ducking, Xiao Wei managed to grabbed hole on to Xiao Peng, left arm, she turn to his back, twist the arm round to the back, while her other hand pushing on his shoulder. Xiao Peng, gave out a cried.

-Ouch, Ouch, OUCH…that really hurt…please Xiao jie, let me go..! Begging Xiao Peng, feeling the pain increasing.

-Um, I’m not a xiao jie! Said Xiao Wei, sharply, while pulling Xiao Peng’s arm even harder.

-Ouch, ouch…. then da cu niang (dai co nuong), da nu zhip (dai nu hiep) (female hero), please khen an (khai a^n), let me go…please…Begging some more, as he cried out even louder.

Xiao Wei was amused by his changing phrase so quick, she gave him a kick on his bottom and letting him go, slamming down to the ground. Yet Xiao Peng, gave out another cry. Xiao Wei, looking at him strangely, at some stage she evens thought he was exaggerating the scenes.****

(The third fight at the Latern festival)
*** Xiao Wei and Xin Ru ran out of the crowned place, where the homeless people enjoying their meals.. They kept running and giggling at each other childishness. Until Xin Ru suddenly paused when she sense some thing is moving in a bush near by.

-Xiao Wei…shrrrrr..As Xin Ru pointed her finger to the bush, indicating, something was wrong, by the quick action, Xiao Wei, flu over, and grabbed hold of the shoulder of the person spying on her and Xin Ru.

-Ouch..that hurt..Xiao Peng, cried, when once again, he met with Xiao Wei.

-What Xiao Zi, you again! You never know when is enough, do you? Xiao Wei, pulled Xiao Peng out from the bush, make him landing flat on the ground. By the groaning of pain, Xin Ru, also flu her way over to see what was happening.

-Xiao Wei, what wrong, is some of Ah ma’s guard spying on us! As Xin Ru urged to find out the person.

-I don’t think so. It just this crazy Xiao Zi that I bumped in to, well, everyday.!

Xiao Peng, slowly, make a come back, and stand up to explain himself..

-I’m not spying on you, I was just watching the festival…And by the way is not me who bumped in to you, is you who bumped in to me. Okay.

Xiao Peng, upon recognizing Xin Ru as a daughter of Magirstrate from the palace. He knows he had to act politely, otherwise, it could be big problem.

-You, how dare Xiao Zi, you threaten me, really I have to beat you still death. Xiao Wei anger was arousing, as she stepped forward to give him the punch, but Xin Ru quickly grab her back. While Xiao Peng took a few steps backward.

-Hey I told you, I’m not spying on anybody. It just that you happen to be appearing in everywhere I go. Do you think I like seeing nothing else but you! I kind of annoy too..you know…Han Zhu must have millions other fun things to do, rather then just watching you. Xiao Peng, yelled out bravely, when he know he’s in a safe zone, cause Xin Ru is still holding back Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Wei, he’s know our secret, if let ah ma know, I’ll be dead.. Said Xin Ru, trying all her strength to hold back high temper Xiao Wei.

-Well in that case, let me shut his big mouth up, and we don’t have to worry. By that Xiao Wei, gave all her ability to fly free, and she did, since Xin Ru was always weaker in martial art then her.

-Hey! Com back here, what do you mean by, for no reason or with reason, you can’t do that. Xiao Peng, ran over to called out, but Xiao Wei and Xin Ru had long gone. He stumble hard his feet on the ground. Blaming himself for going to easy with her promise.
But then Xiao Peng, feel someone patched on his shoulder. He turned around to face Yu Jin, with a friendly smile.****

Xiao Wei yelled out, while ran over to chase Xiao Peng. Both of them started to move around surrounded Xin Ru and Yu Jin in a circle.

-I don’t believe you’re that good, cause there is one task, that you don’t have the ability to do. Xiao Peng, said while still running like madness from Xiao Wei grabbed.

-Oh, really so what is the task I want to know! Xiao Wei, stopped, furious in Xiao Peng, was playing a joke on her.

-Well…Xiao Peng did a paused at well, standing mischievously with his hand rubbing his chin, finding to right words to say.

-Well, if I ask you to be my shi-fu in martial art, you will never be able to take it right?

-WHAT! Yelled Xiao Wei, as she was sure that he is really playing a joke on her.

Xin Ru and Yu Jin, were standing absolutely in horror shocked as the two enemies negotiating.

-Xiao Zi, listens, if you can agreed to my three requests. I will take you as my student and will teach you everything that I know, including the recipe for the sleep powder.

-Hao la, Hao la (Duoc thoi). I do it! Xiao Peng cried with joy, as he unwiring that Xiao Wei, is playing a trick on him.****

(The first lesson)
****** Xiao Peng, was standing on a big rock near by the water, and was blowing on his newly brought flute. Until Xiao Wei, spin herself to where he was sitting, and as he not be warned, she quickly grab the flute from him, then did another spin and land on the ground.

-Hey, give me back my flute. Xiao Peng yelled, as he was attack.

-Hey, Xiao Zi, I asked you to come out here, so I and test your martial art skill, cause I first need to look for your weakness and develop from then. I didn’t ask you to play the flute, and by the way, you make terrible sound, heard my ears. Xiao Wei, teasingly yelled at Xiao Peng, she was lying a bit, cause Xiao Peng, playing the flute was not that bad, but she just like to do it to annoy him.

-Hao la, give me back the flute first then you can test. Xiao Peng, walked close to where Xiao Wei, was standing put his hand out to grab the flute, but as he almost reach it. Xiao Wei quickly pulled it back, and jump to the other side.

-Want to get your flute back. All right! Fight for it. Xiao Zi, hold this. And Xiao Wei begins the challenge, she picked up a broken tree branch, with the side similar to the flute she was holding and threw it to Xiao Peng. That for fair, we both will use a weapon each.

Xiao Peng, left with no choice then to catch the branch, and started to stop all of Xiao Wei, moved. Xin Ru, had been out of the house for sometime as well, she came to sit next to Yu Jin, and started to watch Xiao Wei creating a hard time for Xiao Peng.

Xiao Peng, had never been real trained in martial art before, so no matter how hard he tred, he could not stopped Xiao Wei. Within less then five minutes, Xiao Wei finished the fight off, by using the flute to do a full circle twist to spin Xiao Peng weapons out of his hand. And as the result Xiao Peng’s branch fled up the sky, and dropped on the other side of the river.

-Xiao Zi, you are useless. Your defend is weak, your kick is not quick enough, or concentration is only at the lowest level…and…Xiao Wei, gave out the whole description on Xiao Peng’s skilled after she easily won the match. But soon, Xiao Peng, jumped in

-Ai yah, I asked you be my teacher so you can teach me better martial arts skills, I didn’t ask you to analyses my weakness.

-Shut up, I didn’t give you permit to speak. Have you forgotten what you just promised last night! Xiao Wei raised her voice at Xiao Peng, looking so coldly outside, but she was laughing with fun on the inside

-You…you…Xiao Peng could feel his anger raising up to his throat, but as he remind himself for a benefit in tomorrow, he had to stay clam, and that there will be time later, for him to get her back.

(The first intimated moment)
****** The cage was closing, as Xiao Peng, standing outside with full confusion. His eyes widen with fears as he see Xiao Wei imaged has disappeared. In no time, he quickly jumped in the cage pasted the small gaps, that only just enough for his body to get through, as he landed in the cage, he could hear the stones closed to each other.

Xiao Wei, stared at Xiao Peng in shock from the other side of the cage. She suddenly felt all her anger arises, as she stumble hard to him, she grabbed on his cloth to pulled him up.

-Xiao Zi, why don’t you listen to me. Why you such stupid, idiot to come back. Xiao Wei yelled out while shaking Xiao Peng violently. I wanted you to go and get help from the other, now you stark in here, who is going to come for us. You promised me, to obeyed and listen to me, why are you not followed my instruction. Xiao Wei felt everything just collapsed on her as, Xiao Peng was her last hope for survival. But he dumped enough to come back.

Xiao Peng, stood still, looking down, he knows why Xiao Wei got mad, and he excepted it. But he had no regret in coming. Suddenly, he felt Xiao Wei body slowly collapsed into his. He quickly put out his arms to catch her, as she laid her on the ground to wake her up.

-Cu Cu, Cu Cu, what happened to you? Please don’t scare me..

From the moving of her arms, Xiao Wei wound had been expand, as the blood started to pour out, together with shock, made her to lost her balance, but she still in her conscious staged.

-Get away from me! As She yelled, while push Xiao Peng body away from her…She slowly made her way up, and walked to the other side of the cage.

-Cu Cu, yours injured? Xiao Peng concernedly asked, view Xiao Wei wound from her back.

-Shut up! I don’t want to talk to you, never! As the still mad and stubborn Xiao Wei replied sharply. She sit herself down the ground in pain, while ripped of the piece of her dress at the bottom to covered the wound.

Xiao Peng moved his body slowly to sit near to Xiao Wei. Once she was in his reach, Xiao Peng shakingly took off his coat first layer, and wrapped it around Xiao Wei’s body. She stopped shaking for awhile, she looked up to met with Xiao Peng soft eyes, telling her to take the coat. She turned away, smiling shyly and pulled the coat closer to her body.

Xiao Wei tiredly laid her head back in the wall. Struggle to stay conscious.

- ….Cu ..Cu…are you alright? Cu Cu. Xiao Peng got shocked when noticed Xiao Wei, had closed her eyes. In fear, he lead over and pulled her in to his embrace, hoping that could make she feel warmer…

-Cu Cu, don’t worry, we’ll be fine, don’t give up, I’m with you, do you feel better! Xiao Peng softly whispered his support beside Xiao Wei’s ear.

Xiao Wei, still awake, but she was too tried to open her eyes or speak. Hearing Xiao Peng’s words, she just nodded weakly, and ducked her body deeper in to his arm. Laid her head on his warm chest. She suddenly though of if Xiao Peng was not here with her now, there no way she would made it through.

Xiao Peng keep his arms tighten around Xiao Wei, lifeless body. He looked down at her pale faced. He was surprised, the bully, hyperactive Xiao Wei, turned out to be a normal weak girl afterall, as she was now lying quietly in his arms. Suddenly a strange feeling aroused with in him, the warmest heat he had never felt.****

(After the recovery)
******* After Xin Tan left, Xiao Peng made his way to met Xiao Wei at the shelter. As he approached closer to her hearing distance. He frowned, and ticked his tongue..

-Tick Tick…One Yu Jin, which you haven’t finished yet, now appear a Xin Tan. As Xiao Peng was speaking out of his jealousy, but trying to framed it was a tease to Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Zi, stops talking non-sense. Don’t forget you are under my control. As Xiao Wei pretend back to her harassing tone, warning Xiao Peng not to go any further.

But as both of them are all very healthy, the weather so nice that it booted up their energy to rebutted.

-Um, I wonder, just a few days a go, who was going all the way down, frowning of dying too young. On that Xiao Peng glanced at Xiao Wei, with a hooking smile.

Xiao Wei had gone fully recovered back to her hyperactive speed, as she spin fast to Xiao Peng and quickly grab with flute from his hand, and twisted it, to placed it under Xiao Peng chin, as she faced closer to him.

-Xiao Zi, I’m warning you now. If you let out a single word about what went on inside that cage. I will chop you up in pieces. You will die in the most terrified way that no one had ever experience. Got it.!! Xiao Wei grounded her teeth together, as she strongly made her pointed.

Xiao Peng could fell the flute pushed hard against his throat as he almost skips a breath. Frightenly, he replied.

-Shir (Da.), Cu Cu, ni fan xin la (Co^ co^ an ta^m ddi), I swear I will not tell anyone. As Xiao Peng quickly put up three fingers.

Xiao Wei was pleased with the respond, so she left him go. Xiao Peng relived to catch back his breath. While Xiao Wei beaming joyfully.****

(Excepting the love)
******** In the cave, Xiao Peng gave Xiao Wei a cheeky smile, before held up a wooden craft pendant in front of her.

-Looked, I got a present for you! He exclaimed

The little thing attracted Xiao Wei attention, as she turned and held the pendant, which were carefully crafted with a face of a rose, there was also a string went through the pendant, which can be wear as a neglect.

-You had been making this! As Xiao Wei turned to look at Xiao Peng, feeling her hearts pounding faster.

Xiao Peng, nodded, as he grabbed the pendant, and gently tied the string around Xiao Wei’s neck. It sure made a great neglect.

-Do you liked it? Xiao Peng asked, as he watching her beauty glowing under the moonlight.

Xiao Wei nodded back, as she looked down to the pendant, from now on that will be the most treasure thing to her.

-I never known you can do craft? Xiao Wei said, when Xiao Peng sat down facing her.

-I only knew a little, but I did it for you! Xiao Peng, relied, as his loved for Xiao Wei one more time raising higher in himself, as he was going to review his feeling.

Xiao Wei, noticed Xiao Peng loving stared at her, she blushed and shyly stood up and ran in to the caved. Xiao Peng quickly followed after, as he chased up to her and grabbed her hand.

-Cu cu, I got something to say? As Xiao Peng swing Xiao Wei back to faced him.

Xiao Wei for the first time felt extremely embarrassed standing in front of Xiao Peng, she kept looking down, but deep in her heart, she’s really wanted to hear what he was wanting to say.

On seeing Xiao Wei quite. Xiao Peng decided to continue.

Xiao Wei got a happy shocked, but she pretended to deny it. She turned away and replied in her normal, cheeky tone.

-Why should I liked you? As she grinned to herself.

Xiao Peng, quickly ran over to face Xiao Wei again.

-You liked me, because I’m your close friend and a good pupil. As saying that, he gentle placed his hand on Xiao Wei shoulder. She just stacked out her tongue making a face at him, and giggled.

-Because I’m cute. Xiao Peng continued, moved his hand from her shoulder to hold on her arms.
Xiao Wei shook her head, and looked away, trying to control her laughter.

Xiao Peng finally rounded his arms on her waist, as him pulled her closer. For the first time, they stood still in silent to look deeply at each other. Either of them spoke, but their eyes had said every thing.

-Because..Xiao Peng began to whisper…because…I loved you…
And from that he bend down and gave her the first kissed. At the moment their lips touched, they felt their heart stopped beating, everything just gone quite, the rest of the world was far behind, at they reached the most wonderful place, to be with each other. As the two was drawn deeply into their first kiss, so passionate that they will never forget it.****

(The last time)
********* Xiao Wei, let her mind drifted off to the music, as she slowly turned to her side, laid her cheek on his back shoulder, while her hand hugging from his neck. When Xiao Peng finished the first song on his flute, she asked

-Xiao Zi, are you excited about tomorrow!

Xiao Peng frowned with deep thought, since all night Lam da ye had been planning out, what procedure to follow on tomorrow, when Xiao Wei returned the dragger. But during that moment, Xiao Peng was just thinking of Xiao Wei, as he could not recalled anything. And now he turned puzzled with Xiao Wei’s question.

-I don’t know, I haven’t been listen to anyone after you gone.!! He relied, while grabbed at her hand, which lay around in front of his chest.

-Are you willing to go back, and become the new Emperor? Xiao Wei continued her questions, as she been making a whole list of them.

Xiao Peng paused, he pushed his eyes to the back, glancing at Xiao Wei, who still lying still on his back shoulder.

-Why are you asking me this? Do you not happy to go back to the palace with me? He asked concernedly, trying to find out with was she thinking, since it turned out Yu Jin just a fake prince, and he was the real one.

But Xiao Wei stayed quite, she shook her head on Xiao Peng’s back, objecting to his thought, as Xiao Peng continued.

-If, you’re not happy, please tell me, I would leave everything, just to do with you. He said to reassure her, of the true love from his heart.

Xiao Wei, grinned a soft smile, to Xiao Peng replied, as she pulled her hand closer to enclosed her embrace, and pressed her faced harder on his back shoulder.

-Only your words just then, That’s all I wanted to hear…As she whispered from his back…Xiao Zi, keep playing your flute don’t stop…

With Xiao Wei’s request Xiao Peng began blow another song on his flute, while Xiao Wei, closed her eye tightly to retain her concentration, while still leading on him.*******END

Just then, Xiao Wei, put the flute on her mouth, and started to flow into it. She left out some pretty horrible sound in the middle of the night that could shock the atmosphere.

Chapter 23

-Aiyah, stop playing, I’m feeling sorry for my flute!! Xiao Peng cried out, with a cheekily smile, as he stepped closer to Xiao Wei.

-Xiao Zi, what are you doing here? Xiao Wei pretended with her angry toned, but then as she remembered something….Please forgive me, Tai Zi. As she soften her voice, but there still was a lot of teasing in it.

Xiao Peng, quickly waved his hand out at the word “Tai Zi”

-What’s “Tai Zi”, what “Emperor”! I’m don’t care, I just want to be a normal Xiao Zi. As he stared lovingly into Xiao Wei eyes. But she stepped back out from his look, as she was not sure what he meant.

-What do you mean, Aren’t you already a crown prince and going to become the Emperor tomorrow? She asked him the trick question…She will hate him if the answer is “yes”.

Xiao Peng, grabbed on Xiao Wei hand, and pulled her out to the moonlight, as they can view each other clearer.

-Look at me? He shown his hand up and down his body…Am I in anyway look like a prince or a Emperor…As he truthfully looked at her.

Xiao Wei, tried to hold back her smile, since she kind of understand what he was trying to say…

-Uh!!..It does make sense…She put her hand up, rubbing her cheek, as if she was judging his look…Well, to me, you more like a Xiao Zi…Then she turned her back to him and giggled softly.

-Exactly! So why should I stay back the palace for. I already leave everything for Yu Jin and Lam da lao ye to take care off! He then walked closer to her back.

-So..then..why did you come here for? Xiao Wei was trying to play harsh on him, while still hiding her smiling face away from his view.

Xiao Peng stepped closer, and he bent over to speak in her ear.

-Because, you stolen something from me?

Xiao Wei was not happy with the answer, she flung herself back to face him, and pushed the flute she was holding into his hand.

-You, so self-fish, It’s just a flute, there, now go..As she stumble the words out in anger. And looked away.

-Wait! I didn’t say I came back for the flute….Xiao Wei paused upon his word…as she let him continued…If it was only this stupid flute, why should I bother to come back…But you not only took away my flute, you have stolen something else which very important, I can’t be alive without it, so I quickly have to chase after you…As Xiao Peng exclaimed, slowly passing a honest look to her eyes.

-What? What else did I take from you? Asked Xiao Wei, stubbornly.

By that, Xiao Peng grinned, and grabbed hold to both her hands, and placed them on his chest.

-You took my heart! And I don’t want to die so soon, so I have to come with you, so I can be with my heart, so I can live longer.

Xiao Wei was aroused with full affection, as she was more then touched by his words. Finally yet softly, she relaxed herself and nestled in his arms…Xiao Peng also smiled with relief, as she tighten his grip holding her close to his body, promising himself from now on, he will never let her go again.
During the full devotion moment, suddenly a third person appeared behind the bush and let out a giggled sound. As both Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng quickly broke out from their embrace, to glance at the shadow, of an old man, holding a long stick with a soft piece of fabric on the top.

-Hahahah.. Congratulation, my dear children…As Lao Ge slowly showed himself under the moonlight. While both Xiao Peng and Xiao Wei let out a surprised gasped upon seeing an old friend.

-Lao Ge, where have you been? Xiao Wei asked friendly, as she noticed back that lately he hadn’t been disturbing her like before.

-You known him as well? Xiao Peng turned to Xiao Wei in surprised, he thought he was the only one that knew Lao Ge..

But before Xiao Wei could answer him, Lao Ge jumped in cut off her words.

-Ofcouse you both known me. See I have warned you about your destiny and your fate, since you two first met. But…Lao Ge shook his head and let out a sigh….But the two of you kept mucking around, instead of going straight to the point….First you started of like enemies, and then became shi fi and pupil…But now look at you two, finally it’s proved my words are right!! Lao Ge relaxed and smiled kindly as he stroked his long pepper white beer.

Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng were hand in hand, looking embarrassly at each other upon Lao Ge description of the way how they relationship turned out. They were amused by how they started off to be, fighting, and quarrel, argued and then fall in love, since when they don’t even remember.

Since early the next morning, an urgent noticed sign were posted on all the big streets in Han Zhu. That Han Yu Dang had been defeated, and today the new Emperor, Han Yu Jin will take over the crown, together with the new Empress, Lam Xin Ru.

Both Xiao Peng and Xiao Wei were pleased after viewing the noticed board. Xiao Peng had realized that he was not meant to be an Emperor, he was never be trained as one. But Yu Jin is different, all his life devoted on how to be a good Emperor, and with they way he stood up against his father, had shown that Yu Jin was the most capable candidate to took over the crowned.

On the started of the country road, Xiao Wei and Xiao Peng, finally left Han Zhu, riding their houses on the new road. Suddenly Xiao Peng paused back.

-Do you know where we going? He turned over to ask his new wedded wife.

-Where ever there people!! She answered looking back to now be her husband.

-To where ever that we are together…As he tenderly corrected her sentenced.

Xiao Wei blushed, as she changed to a more challenging paced.

-Come on, let’s see if you can win me?…She doubted at him.

-Oh, yeah? I bet I will..Xiao Peng relied cheekily..

-Then tried me!! By that both of them kicked hard their heels on the house, as the two of them began their race…

Flashback

That early morning, Xiao Peng and Xiao Wei were wedded, in front of their only witness, Lao Ge. They set up a small altar table beside the riverbed. Both kneeled down, and contributed their vows, promised to love, to cherish and to be by one another side in danger or safety.

After three bowed as the traditional custom, Xiao Peng softly turned to Xiao Wei, as he let out,
-Xiao Wei…

She turned over to reply the tender look on his face, as she grinned shyly and said.
-Xiao Peng.

That was the first time, they called out each other name. And they known from then, each name will stayed deeply in their heart forever. As they rode ahead side by side on the long road, leading to a new journey, a New World. ‘A place with each other’
