Mimi Jimenez APO Business Manager
Mimi is a Senior BFA Musical Theatre student and will be reprising her role as business manager for the 2004-2005 season. Her goals for Alpha Psi Omega are to attempt to alter the preconceived notion about Alpha Psi just being there for fun activities, and along with the president and other officers, create an organization that focuses on the awareness of the theatre not only in the school but in the community as well. Mimi hails from Miami, FL where she attended Miami Northwestern in the Vocal Ensemble program through P.A.V.A.C. (Performing and Visual Arts Center). There she was student conductor and has received 4 superior medals of excellence in solo & ensemble performance and conducting. In addition to her efforts through P.A.V.A.C., she was privileged to perform on several South-Eastern National tours with R&B group, New Edition’s Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill, Sounds of Blackness lead singer, Quan Howell, and lead singer of the Funky Green Dogs, Tamara Wallace. She has also performed with Rap artists Trick Daddy & Trina and has workshopped with Bobby McFerrin. She is currently a Senior at the University of Central Florida she was blessed to have been in nine main stage productions.
