This page is a special memorial page to
remember the victims of September 11,2001.
My prayers and sympathy I extend to all the
families and friends of those who perished.
This is my way of remembering.
Love: Marlene (Pixie)

I wondered what to write this day, I wondered quite awhile.
Because no words I write today could really make us smile.
And then I knew as my heart spoke loudly what I should do.
Write these words to celebrate the lives of me and all of you.

What better tribute to those whose lives were lost one year ago today.
Than to open up our hearts and help each other find a way.
A way to live more peacefully, a way for all of us to get along.
A way to make us realize that on earth together we all belong.

To love our neighbors and if needed extend to them a helping hand.
If of another culture, their way of life to try and understand.
To love those most precious and dear, our very own families.
To use the simplest of words like hello, thank you and please.

To really listen to each other, to keep a fresh and open mind.
To look for the good in others that we know is always there to find.
To mend old wounds and start a needed healing process anew.
For none of us is guaranteed tomorrow, not me, not even you.

Remember last September 11th as your loved ones leave the house today.
And say the words you know they might never again hear you say.
For words not spoken this day will never have a chance again.
To touch our precious families or speak volumes to our friends.

So in memory of those lost I send these thoughts and love your way.
There's so much in this tribute that words just cannot say.
I lit a candle for all our friends whose lives were lost one year ago today.
And I thank you for listening where words are just so hard to say.

Love: Marlene (Pixie)
