Astrology

I do not believe in astrology. It's bogus, fake and just plain not real. Now, I realize some people think that to be a Witch one must believe in astrology, but I am here to tell you that that is not true. And what are my reasons? Glad you asked that!

1. If Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are so powerful...why could astrology not predict them?
2. If the planets excert such incredable life changing forces, why do our probes, satellites, rockets and shuttles not encounter this "force"?
3. How do the charts compensate for time changes? Ancient Greeks and Egyptions used different time measurements and even we have to adjust our calanders and clocks.
4. If a horoscope is made just for me, why do all of them apply?
5. Why can they not predict the market and economy?

As you can see, I have many reasons and tend to think of more as I go along. I read a biography of a man who creates horoscopes and he said he doesn't believe in them either, and many professional horoscope people (for lack of a professional term) don't either. But...the people love 'em! (I tend to look on them for amusement factor only m'self) If astrology is so accurate...why don't the astrologers become rich and famous? Not from monies earned from the people who buy them, but from the lottery or stockmarket? I don't know about you, but if I could predict the market...I would be a serious contender!

What I have noticed is that they tend to predict money, love and work. These three things are what most people are the most concerned about. Who does not hate their job? Wonders about their loved one, or wish they had more money? Astrologers can't go wrong here! There are 12 signs. Divide these signs among the worlds population...do you see where I am going with this?...now, out of these millions and millions...how many of the horoscopes are accurate? Now, add to this the 11 other signs. How many Pisces can see themselves in another sign? I know I have, don't deny it! I read of studies where everyone was given a horoscope and asked to raise their hands if the horoscope was accurate. Everybody raised their hands. They then were given their neighbors horroscope and the horoscopes were exactly the same! (And yes, all 12 zodiacs were represented). What does this tell us? I know it tells me that the Zodiac and astrology is a bunch of Hooey! The only way I would believe in them is if my name was specificaly printed, with things NO ONE else knew about and made accurate predictions (not the "money is coming your way...since I know payday is around the corner") that can be verified, welllll maybe I would give them a second chance. but until then? Hooey!
