Why Baseball is Now a Joke
Well, it looks like Darryl Stawberrry has failed a THIRD drug test for cocaine. Poor guy. ((**my butt**)). Why is baseball coddling this druggie? Do I feel the Least bit sorry that he was given a year suspension? No and in fact, I think he should be driven out from the game all together. This guy is supposed to be a role model for kids for cripes sake. Kids trade his card (maybe now they should do it by drug suspensions) and regard this loser as some kind of baseball god. I don't think so!
Pete Rose was expelled from baseball because he bet against his team and may (not proven) have lost a game to collect. Why does this mean he cannot get into the hall of fame when 'ole Strawberry is snorting coke? Hello people! Are you guys in the baseball commission really that hung up on profits? Oh I am so sorry, what the heck was I thinking. Of course you are. I guess so long as he brings in profits...who cares! As a parent, I can't condone this sort of drug allowing sport to be seen in my house. I used to love baseball. Why'd you guys ruin it?
