Chapter 1 The people of Imajan the final planet, shall forever be the outcasts the seers of truth. They must bring the kingdom to life, the mothers of the lunarian royals of life, and the mothers of the Saturnian race of death, the only ones who can live through the force of death, may love be their saviour. *** The streets here were so crowded. On Earth the people felt so BUSY. Almost as if taking time to contemplate for a few seconds was a sin. Kariko walked carefully around the sides of the road hoping not to be jostled. 'Maybe it was a bad idea to come here. Maybe I should have stayed home.' Someone pushed her out of their path as she tried to get further into the crowd of people making her fall onto her ankle painfully. She bit her lip, trying to hold back the tears and weakly stood up. Everyone was still ignoring her, but it no longer bothered her. Cold icy rain began to fall from the sky above giving Kariko a nasty shock. On Imaja it never rained and the new experience of cold water falling onto her body made her realize how unprepared she really was. ‘I’ve got no money, no food and no place to stay.' She looked around helplessly. 'What the heck am I doing!' She had begun to run. Her need to escape the coldness around her was unbearable. The puddles of water sloshed around her feet and trickled into her shoes, but she didn’t care at all. The mesh of people had subsided and now she was running alone, on an empty and chillingly cold road. It seemed like hours before she had to stop running. She stood still in her soaking clothes, gasping for breath while trying desperately to get the chill out of her body. Her ankle throbbed painfully and an unexpected drowsiness had over taken her. 'I just need to sleep' she thought to herself.' Then I'll be fine...' She slid slowly to the pavement in a crumpled heap, her whole body shivering with spasms of cold. *** Tomoe Souichi was having one heck of a bad day. First of all, his teacher had decided to spring him with a *surprise* P.E lesson. Koneko had sent him a snide look, making it utterly clear that she knew perfectly that he hated phys. Ed and that she would definitely NOT choose him for her team. 'Well that’s what you get for dumping the teachers pet.’ He had looked at Koneko as she artfully flicked a lock of her long golden hair behind her ear. '-The most beautiful girl in school. Sad about her personality though.’ Now here he was standing after school in the rain by the loveliest girl he had ever seen, who happened to be unconscious. She had the lushest black hair he had ever seen and the palest of skin. She was so delicately small that he could almost have called her fairy-like and a small white curl framed each side of her face. 'You baka!' he thought as he looked down at the helpless and cold young girl. 'Help her!' Quickly he shrugged off his blazer and wrapped it her around her hoping that it might warm her up. All his actions had seemed to manage where getting his new blazer wet, and adding to the girls heavily wet clothing. As he looked around he saw not a single house. 'I have to get help from somewhere!' Choosing the path on the right, he began to sprint. 'The first house I get to had better have a telephone or I'll never forgive myself for leaving her just lying there...' "Please god if you can help me!" he shouted into the dark sky "Help me save that girl!" By Lil Firely
