WHO WE ARE:

 

1.      We are a legitimate contest.

 

2.      We never delay the winning checks.

 

3.      We respect the art of poetry and writing.

 

4.      We give every writer the same opportunity to win the contest.

 

5.       We are here to make a difference by giving a chance for writers to get paid.

 

6.      We are not a “free” contest scheme, which makes you buy all kinds of other things later.

 

7.       We have real judges, who do not play favorites.

 

8.       We are not a part of a university, with judges, who are teachers trying to help their own students win.

 

9.      You can be sure you will get your check because you know how we will get the money to pay you.  We add all the entry fees for the particular category and then pay the winners the promised percentage or the minimum promised amount.  (See Prizes for more details)

 

10.    We are also poets and writers, so we know what we are doing.  On the other hand, there are contests organized by people who do not write themselves, therefore they can’t properly judge the entries.

 

11.    There are no hidden charges or products to buy.  You only enter the contest and that’s it. 

 

12.    If you win, we will notify you the 30^th of the month you have competed for or if you competed for the deadline December 30, you will be notified within 15 days of that date.  We will mail out your check and certificate the same day.

 

13.    We welcome any suggestion from you for making our contest more profitable and fair.

 

14.    If you have written many poems, lyrics, haikus, and short stories without making any money-this is your chance to get paid.

 

15.     Winning this contest will help you get noticed by the publishers.
