Faces grow old and personalities change.
The ones we have met change into,
someone new, again sometimes good,
sometimes bad.

Life and relationships have no guarantee.
Each day brings new challenges and
we hope we can meet the challenge
of these changes.

We should strive to make these changes
positive and always remember,
that we all have weaknesses and need
forgiveness and understanding.
We just hope these changes are not so
dramatic that we will have difficulty

granting understanding and
forgiveness over time.

So make your changes positive and
strive to remember that others do care
and will try to understand your changes,

but it is up to you to remember that feelings
and behavior are determined by your deeds and
behaviors.

Positive outlook is the road you should
maintain on your path.
Respect, caring, interest, and honesty should
be your guide on life's journey.
Why make that journey full of pot holes,
when with a little effort and caring,
you can make it smooth and pleasant,
for youself and those you meet,
along life's highway.

So my friend, I hope our changes
are ones we can put behind us and drop
to the side of the road.
Our friendship will weather the changes,
and we will walk along and enjoy looking ahead.
