Eric Erlandson was born on January 9 1963 in Los Angeles. His father was former dean of "Loyola Marymount", and infact he studied in this college. His favourite musicals are :Patti Smith, Sonic Youth, New York Dolls, Kiss.

Although she is probably known to most people as the widow of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love is known to many as the in your face, singer and guitarist for this female dominated band. Some people even credit Courtney as one of the founders of the riot-grrl movement in the early 90's.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Melissa Auf Der Maur rose to fame when Billy Corgin suggested her as a replacement bass player for Hole in 1994. Although little known outside her home town, Melissa was well known within the music scene of Montreal, partly thanks to her father who was a popular anarchist writer, and also due to her band Tinker, in which she played bass guitar. Melissa left Hole in 1999

.Patty Schemel was born on April 28 1967, in Seattle. She is the only member of the band from Seattle. Her mother is an GTE worker and her father an Pacific Bell worker. Her favourite musicals are: "Echo", "The Bunnymen" and "Wire". She left hole in 1998.
~*Kristen*~
Kristen Pfaff was born in Amherst, New York. She moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and she began to play bass guitar. She became part of a local band called ”Janitor Joe”. Eric and Courtney, who were looking for a bassist for Hole, spotted Kristen.She moved to Seattle but soon decided that she needed to get away from drugs that were so available. She was going back to Minneapolis. On June 16, 1994 her body was found by a friend, slumped over her bathtub dead of a drug overdose. Nearby was a cosmetic bag containing syringes and drug paraphernalia.
