It is a privielge for me to write this letter of recommendation for Michelle Ghirelli. I have known Michelle since she was a little girl and have had the honor of watching her grow into a terrific young woman. She has served her community, her high school, and her church in many ways.
I met Michelle at age five. I was her Daisy, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for many years, as well as her neighbor and surrogate mom. Her enthusiasm in all she attempts and her sense of humor in any situation, havve been her strongest traits.
In the community, Michelle gives hours of service to the ASSISTEENS auxiliary of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF COVINA VALLEY. She has been a member for six years and she has held many board positions, including Orientation Chairman for this year. In addition to the required amount of hours that girls are to give to community serive each year, Michelle continually volunteers hours and hours more. She can be found babysitting children at Serenity Foster Care, delivering Teddy Bears to police and fire departments, and working in he local Thrift Store. Michelle brings to each of these jobs her unique personality and sense of caring.
During her fours years of high school, Michelle has been a member of the South Hills High School Color Guard. She has performed at football games, at competitions, at Disneyland, etc., and she always does so with a huge smile on her face and with determination to be the best.
In all she does, Michelle is a very hard worker. She delights in life and this attitude pervades her personality. She always has time for her friends and for thier parents. As you consider Michelle for a position, know that she will bring an enthusiastic attitude and committed heart. I am firmly convinced that she will be a worthy candidate.
