Objective

I want to be an elementary school teacher and teach young kids in a way that nurtures and inspires them the way that my teachers did for me when I was young.

Extracurricular activities

South Hills High School Marching Band and Colorguard 1999-Present

• Each year I spend over 350 hours rehearsing and performing with this group.

South Hills High School Associated Student Body 2001-2002

• I am head of the fundraising department.
• I plan all ASB fundraisers and approve all fundraisers done by other groups and clubs at the school.

Girl Scouts 1990-2001

Leadership positions

• Board Positions in Assisteens of Covina Valley First Vice Chairman in charge of Provisionals. With this position, I am in charge of all the new members in the organization and I plan activities for them to do.
• Recording Secretary. In this position, I record all the minutes of every meeting and read them to the group the following month.
• Section Leader in colorguard I help a group of girls on my team perform to their best ability and make them feel comfortable with our show.

Awards received

• Girl Scouts Silver Award. For this award, I was in charge of planning and running a two-night camp out with over 10 different troops.Next to the Gold Award, this is the second highest award a girl scout can achieve.
• Girl Scouts 10 year pin.
• I was committed to girl scouts for 10 full years and received my pin at a banquet held for award receivers.
